You'll never find out what's got him feeling unwell since he doesnt talk, both literally and "he doesnt talk about himself"

Theres no denying that this dude has been put through the ringer, and theres a lot of stuff that needs to be unpacked

A lot of which hes not going to tell you, regardless of if you know about what happened to him or not

On the chance you dont or that he simply doesnt want to jinx things and make it all start again, he may reframe his experiences into something else or just point blank say people had died

Asides from the jinxing thing mentioned hes just not that interested in showing his feelings and hardships in general

He does appreciate your support, though

Sometimes sitting with you can help alleviate some of the noise going on in his mind; doesnt matter if you're doing something together or independently

You just have a calming energy

A lot of the time when his mind is being unkind, you both sit on the porch and just exist

Why Pokemon Legends: Z-A Should Not put any focus on AZ:

I don't know if this is an unpopular opinion but with the Pokemon Legends: Z-A announcement and all the discussion about it. for some reason so many of you can only talk about AZ. and honestly i hope we get nothing about him.

i hope he doesn't appear at all, if hes mentioned its about the history of Kalos and he never interacts with the player.

AZ's story is over, we got his backstory, his lasting effects on Kalos, and reunited him with Floette. there is nothing left to his story arc. his major role was being the explanation for how Team Flare got a super weapon. that's it. AZ has so much presence in the fandom even though he appears like 3 times in game and thats enough. hes not a major player in the game! he's a sad dishevelled man, cursed because he did genocide cuz he thought it would somehow get him his floette back. and by the end of the game he's repented, his superweapon is destroyed for good this time, and he reunites with Floette.

please note how broken up this man is that he finally reunited with his beloved pokemon.

AZ is only ever brought up when people want to discuss their wild fan theories or to salivate of "The Lore" as if AZ's actually done anything that wasnt dealt with in X&Y. Did his super weapon make the Area Zero crater? no because the Area Zero crater in 6 million years old -did you not go to the history class? What was AZ doing for 3 thousand years? after he got imortality he mostly moped and wandered cuz mass genocide didnt get him his Floette back. what happend to Kalos in that time? Kalos moved on? most of this "Lore" is either obvious, addressed in universe or absolutly not game changing! In my opinion: any poketuber talking about how AZ should info dump about what he did during his 3000 year mope are idiots who want a history textbook more than they actually want a pokemon game. and their reading comprehension sucks.

this is a bit of a tangent but i gotta get this off my chest: some of this focus on AZ is because some fans only want the opportunity to catch his unique floette. because you people are weird and must have everything for yourselves, i guess. I find it strange and bizzare that so many people are desperate to take this man's partner pokemon at all. like why? cuz its a unique floette? i don't really get it. I've seen so many pokemon youtubers who are desperate to talk about how they hope PL:Z-A will let them catch Floette and im sorry but do you(these poketubers) not understand pokemon? pokemon is about bonds and friendship and you want to break this one up because he has a special pokemon? have you people been watching and playing the same Pokemon i have!?

... anyway.

moving on, PL:Z-A is going to be focused on Lumiose City, on either its construction or some other aspect of it. AZ should not be involved at all, first its cuz AZ is still in his moping phase pre X&Y and will be until the events of X&Y. secondly because Lumiose is a modern city and AZ only affected changes during his reign as king, yanno 3000+ years ago? and thirdly, its called pokemon legends: Z-A. not ZA like some people keep reporting, the hyphen is important.

its not just AZ backwards, its an acronym Z-A. whether Z-A stands for Zygarde is up in the air, i mean the font choice points in that direction but who knows. either way i dont think PL:Z-A is gonna be about AZ at all and why would it Lumiose is about looking to the future and the trailer highlights this, why would they spend time looking to the ancient past in the game that in all likelyhood is gonna be about innovating and advancing into the future! and AZ is characterized by clinging to the past and not moving on!

In conclusion, I hope AZ doesnt appear in Pokemon Legends: Z-A, his story was complete in X&Y and theirs nothing to expand on that would be actually interesting to the majority of players.

theres a lot to say about the subject of forgiving abusers but really it all just comes down to the fact that theres like. different types of forgiveness, and the fact that dsmp doesnt exist in a bubble. theres nothing wrong with like, tommy going yeah i forgive you because i need to move the fuck on with my life. his decision. there wouldnt even be anything wrong with tommy apologizing because dream was about to die. tommy is at his core a kind person, theres nothing wrong with him showing some regret and kindness, even to dream.

what is wrong with tommy apologizing to dream and gaining this ~understanding~ of him is that it uh. is based on the idea that tommy being an annoying 16 year old is a fair reason for dream to effectively kidnap, abuse, and outright torture him and also kill him three times, kill lazar and vikk three times each and torture them, try to kill tubbo just to get to tommy, torture and kill sam to have control over the prison, abandon sapnap and george, manipulate multiple people, and more.

its that tommy taking on the blame for ruining dream in the same way dream ruined him. makes it out as if theyre equals in any way. as if their entire relationship wasnt always dream having power over tommy and abusing it, abusing him. theres hardly a win in clingyduo taking themselves out with dream, not in a "the only way to seek justice is to kill dream" way (although that has some truth to it on a narrative sense), but in a "jesus fuck they had lives outside of him and the narrative acts as if this is the only way, they have to abandon everything just to show that dream and tommy couldve been friends if.. what, tommy was less annoying and a bit more kind?" way

and ultimately it sucks because. this just isnt a good time for that kind of narrative. not to meta game, but when one of the actors has allegations currently in legal question against him, its.. not great, that the story hes been working on for years now where his character consistently hurt and abused and held his position of power over a teenager ends on a forgive and forget moral. no matter what the truth of the matter about the allegations are, thats.. uncomfortable. not because im upset that dream didnt die in the way i wanted, but because during a time where victims have it hard as is, its just.

not appropriate? to have almost two years of a storyline about abuse and how it affects the victim, turns them into a worse version of themself and keeps them in a state of terror for as long as their abuser is out there, creates a situation where because the abuser happened to be somewhat charismatic and hide their worst flaws from the public, the victim is scared that no one will believe then, and does have a multitude of people who think that the victim shouldnt be listened to, because theyre annoying, because the abuser wouldnt do that, because the victim must have done something to deserve it, to make the abuser do what they did. and have it end on a note where the victim apologizes for making the abuser a worse person by.. being annoying. and dies with their abuser and their best friend, memory wiped of everything (supposedly, including their memories of their friends and family) so they can go on and be friends with their abuser never knowing what happened.

all while a victim of one of the actors has been mass harassed because.. supposedly, dream wouldnt do that. because amanda acted weird before and after. because she wanted it and that made it okay, even though she was in a position where she didnt know what was wrong about dreams actions. because. dream has power over her, because hes a somewhat charismatic man whose built up a public face of a well-meaning man who cares about his community and about victims. and amanda, in the eyes of many who dont believe her, is an annoying girl who just wants to ruin dreams life. all while we have some clues suggesting that dream may have finally gotten around to this so he could do damage control.

even if you ignore that the ending just isnt satisfying on a narrative level, it. gets concerning, to think about, when you realize that this story is influenced by cc biases, and that that includes dreams own biases against the people hes hurt in real life. thats what makes the ending uncomfortable. its not a proper story leading up to a narratively satisfying understanding of where the abuser came from, a narrarively satisfying way for the victim to forgive and move on. its a not great moral at a bad time handled by someone i dont trust to have had good intentions when playing out this ending. the fact that the people who already hated ctommy for being a victim of cdream can feel like they were right and go on to hate amanda for being a victim of ccdream? thats unsettling. very fucking unsettling.

Ehhmmm HI EVERYONE !!!! so this is very inspired by @kafus's Pokémon liveblogging n their various playthroughs and its been so fun to follow, and it gave me the inspiration to pick up a new playthrough - or TWO PLAYTHROUGHS !!!

i realized its been forever since ive actually played FireRed LeafGreen and that ive never done it w. the help of save editing to add eg. Rare Candies for grinding. but i also realized that ive never actually played the Gen 1 Pokémon games....so i decided to do both !!!!

im doing a kinda-sorta Nuzlocke too, just to try out different Pokémon and get myself to rotate between them, but I am also moreso trying to use funny stuff more than minmaxxing for strategy. Here's my Pokémon Red team for instance!!

Yes that's Marcel the traded Mr. Mimel!! I got an Abra as my first encounter and realized that using Alakazam would just be steamrolling people with a big Special number, so I boxed it for later to use Gen 1 Mr. Mime for a while. I've rotated some of these members in and out with others in the box, mostly because the movepools are so fascinatingly terrible ^^; Like - I wanted to use Nidoking because his Gen 1 sprites are absolutely incredible, and you can get him before even the second gym from Mt. Moon's Moon Stones, but........he doesn't get Double Kick unless you get Nidorino to like Level 47?? and Nidoking misses out on Thrash unless you level him up early.

Clefable has been the absolute QUEEN of the run though, like !!! i love her silly sprite in this game so so so much, and the well-rounded stats paired with Sing make them a really good Pokémon to use in pretty much any situation. its funny how the lack of many good moves means that mediocre moves like Growl or Water Gun end up feeling useful just for being options at all...I've had some fun with the mediocre TMs given out too, like giving Bide to my Ivysaur to utilize the Leech Seed draining effect as best as possible in a sort of quirky strategy. Though on the flipside I had to give up on using Mankey entirely after realizing it just gets NOTHING in terms of moves - before Yellow it literally doesn't learn any Fighting type moves by leveling up other than Seismic Toss (which doesnt count), and the only one it gets by TM is Submission which is.....nooot good :T

Anyhow - Here's a terrible img of my FRLG team! I'm out of Rock Tunnel and in Celadon in this playthrough wheras the RBY playthrough is still not through the tunnel yet :( BUT that means that I've gotten a lot more silly goobers in this run. Even though my Mankey died here before I could use it for anything funny.....i really like Primape's design so im kinda sad I've never gotten to use it lol

ANYWAY ANYWAY look at my fucking boy. look at my Fungler. look at my little man. he has 20 diseases and he sucks ass. i love him.

i played a Gen 3 fangame a while ago that gave you access to Fury Cutter as a TM and a Paras really early on, and the gears got grinding in my head to force sleep with Spore and then chain a Fury Cutter combo, and the affection for that silly strat has stuck with me and made me kind of adore Parasect by extension. look at my fucking guy he sucks so much!!! but he puts people to sleep really well and has cool bug claws. i love his terrible movepool and having to give him Secret Power to do any damage. lol .

it is funny to play these older games where the movepools sucked ass, even as deep in as Gen 3 . so you have to really stretch for ideas on how to use mons but it feels really fun when you make something sorta click? like this Doduo Rage -> Rest -> Chesto set, it doesn't get Swords Dance nor the infinitely funnier Acupressure but this is kinda just a shittier funnier version of that? also Tri Attack being physical feels like it was made just for Dodrio. i love my bird.

im still kinda miffed at how many things just sorta suck in Kanto though. like so many routes early on are just Rattata/Pidgey/Spearow/Ekans while the Safari Zone alone has like 7 Pokémon you can only find there, the distribution feels so strange. and of course the whole Game Corner garbage, i want to use Hyper Beam in Gen 1 because of how cool its Gen 1 exclusive quirks are but its a Game Corner exclusive reward >:((( im gonna have to see if i can save edit gambling coins into the game or what.

BUT im having a lot of fun !! its so silly seeing all the Gen 1 sprites ingame for the first time. the Gen 1iness of it all. not even being able to fuckin check how strong moves are or how much accuracy they have. or even sort the order of moves outside of battles. your battle items menu just opens up your entire bag. such a silly fuckin mess of a game. i love it .

he doesn't argue for as long as he can and 1. dislikes confrontation 2. is really nice and forgiving so he doesn't argue a lot. except for morgan he loves bickering with her about everything cause she sucks and has awful opinions

as for pda he's ok with a smooch on the cheek or a hug or holding hands (i mean his favourite way to have a date is to visit his and morgan's fav restaurant) but he doesn't like affection for show, and prefers stuff like kisses on the mouth and other intimacy to be private. occasionally he does do embarrassing romantic stuff around other people cause he likes to see morgan get flustered but he never makes her genuinely uncomfortable :3

Sims 2 Problems

Some Sims won't fucking lose anything in their needs despite needs not being static but others on the lot will. I have 6 sims in the family 1 adult and 2 babies needs change, 1 adult 1 child and 1 elder have static all happy needs. How do I fix this???

I guess aging was off??? Which is significantly frustrating that I didn't realize so have played multiple days without the babies fucking aging

Two different households now have had multiple sims with permanent platinum aspiration that I had to manually (cheat) reduce

The babies will not stop crying. It doesn't mayter if they are fed changed and socialized they do not stop crying period

What the hell is going on

UPDATE. Something is wrong with the lot.

When I took Caleb (adult), a sim with the needs wont deplete problem, to a community lot they started to deplete. But when I brought him back home immediately his bar was full again and eventually all his needs returned to 100% full

Ksana (elder) on the other hand suddenly got her needs back and I have no idea how, I think she chased off a wolf then her energy need was completely depleted and now her needs are back to normal . Centauri (child) still has 100% full needs that don't deplete. The dog & two toddlers have depleting needs. I should note that Stella (adult) was not on the lot when I loaded it and she never developed the problem. When I click on the mailbox with boolprop testing enabled "make needs static/dynamic" DOES NOT SHOW UP.

The age problem fixed itself, I put aging on cheat then shut my game down and opened it back up. I never used age off cheat so thats odd. Thankfully the babies aged up so I'm not constantly hearing crying 100% of the time. I literally played until they aged up solely so I wouldn't have to handle the crying next time I play. That was so weird.

The aspiration bar is acting weird, like it'll randomly increase on Caleb at least, I also got a want to clean the bird cage when they do not have a bird cage. At least they aren't stuck (though it might be on Ksana I'd have to check).

I was thinking of moving the family off the lot then back on but I have zero idea what that does to their careers, age, skills, relationships etc. I cannot remember what happens.....

Edit: So if I move a family out all their buy mode objects disappear... I worked so fucking hard on this lot I can't do that

Edit 2: I can try the cheat motive decay on/off. Moving out then back in the affected sim... though I don't know what that'll do to family dynamics. That seems to be the only solutions I found since make needs static/dynamic doesnt show up. I dont know when I'll have the energy to play again but I'll try I guess. This is the main (core?) household so its really upsetting.

if you havent yet heard about ranboos apolgoy, he basically was apologizing for screenshots of his discord back in october when he joked about being a "lesbian himbo man" and generally being told that he dresses like a lesbian

now, as a lesbian i was originally very confused about why he was apologizing, and it's because that joke came from lesbians. same with the "cant believe tommys a lesbian" clip and people calling george a cottagecore lesbian with his mushroom house. it was a very popular joke among lesbians at the time, and obviously its almost impossible to know if a chat member or a dono is coming from a lesbian, but in the situation that it is or generally lesbians making the joke, i feel like its fair game for streamers to play along/repeat it, because for the most part lesbians arent uncomfortable abt it because they were the ones who started it

obviously, the issue is when non-lesbians start to make the joke. because i do get the "dont enforce lesbian stereotypes/use them as an aesthetic/make them the butt of jokes" when it comes to non-lesbians, which is the same for like,,, any sexuality really. (for any lesbians, tho, feel free to make the joke because you Are allowed to)

the issue is that mcyttwt and the fandom in general just keeps coming back to digging up old clips and screenshots over and over again even though we keep saying stop, and its always a minority that doesnt actually affect them. ask game: i've been experiencing chronic pain as long as i can remember, but i havent even noticed it until recently, because the stress of school and life in general just... starts killing me, eventually. and i only realized it wasnt normal when a friend literally said "yeah, no, constant pain is not normal-" to me. i havent ever really seen myself as disabled, i know i absolutely count as it, but i'm used to the pain until it flares so it doesnt affect me too much. (unless i get hurt somehow then it just lingers and gets worse the longer it does) i also cant do anything but self dx, my doctors office keeps flunking appointments, mental health and physical health and i cant do anything to fix it. i know i need mobility aids to be able to function whatsoever in public without immediately being shot into flareups when i get the bare minimum chance to rest, but i still dont feel like i should be calling myself disabled. this isnt even including my mental health, which im very aware is down in the absolute mariana trench of the dumps, but. i feel like i dont deserve mobility aids, or the help i do need, because im not diagnosed, i don't feel like im "disabled" because im not diagnosed, even though self-dxing is good and needed and something that should be accepted but. idk

PLEASE use mobility aids. If they help, then you should be using them, that's all that matters. You are disabled enough, you count, and you deserve to do whatever helps make your pain a little more bearable.

I'm sorry you cannot currently get any help from the medical system. It sucks so bad. But you can still do small things to make your quality of life better 💜

He is absolutely a "can't take this mfer anywhere" BUT unlike Boone he's kinda used to being targeted by other groups such as the NCR and can be easily convinced into wearing a disguise and not starting any shit, which I think is an easier game wise as well because Man have you ever tried to play New Vegas while wearing a Great Khan outfit? NCR carvans will fucking chase you down when youre trying to get to Freeside. sucks

I did include some ambident voicelines or locations in the Mojave on my full Jessup the companion post and I don't really have any other ideas right now but I do want to talk about a few in a bit more detail

For one thing, Jessup’s only been inside raided NCR facilities, so he’s not seen one function just day to day. The rigidity of normal life within the NCR is offputting to him. Not just the soldiers, though watching NCR recruits get screamed at by drill sergeants in the (cut) Camp Mccarren bootcamp made him want to leave, but the farmers and caravans too. Jessup knows how caravans run only from an outsiders perspective, specifically an outsider looking for exploits, so there’s a lot of things on the inside that he misses.

The whole thing with the Crimson Caravan buying out Cass is completely baffling to him, since he doesnt understand (and refuses to learn) how monopolies work. He just can’t get his head around how making every caravan the same makes it easier for raids to pray on caravans, and doesn’t understand why the Crimson Caravan doesnt see that. Having the same number of guards with the same weapons and armours and the same rest stops and the same daily rotas and food rations just makes caravans predictable (The truth is that they probably are aware but don’t care about their workers enough so long as their “number of raided caravans” average is below what the NCR says is okay/doesnt affect their profit, they aren’t going to change anything)

First off: I always imagine Gavin being in a nursing home/group home.

One of my vibes is cute and wholesome: Gavin being That Old Man in the group retirement home that befriends all the workers there and is always dragging the other residents into a game of chess or a conversation on the porch. He continues to be the "old man shouts at cloud" meme.

I feel like by Old Age time Trystan has done some more transitioning both physically and socially, and lowkey becomes ur local floral-themed grandma who also still flirts like waitstaff except it comes across as cute and funny. I imagine Trystan going by primarily they/them pronouns because The Kids These Days have normalized that by then. I feel like they'd move into assisted living with Gavin, insisting that it was solely for Gavin's benefit. And for a long time theyd be inseparable and Those Old People On The Porch and itd be a good time!!! People walking by would get trapped in conversations with them.

The other headcanon is super depressing and the reason I put this off for so long lmao. TW for dementia, death

Sometimes I think about Gavin getting dementia when he's old and it makes me very sad. It affects people in so many different ways though, so maybe he'd mostly mellow out and be kind of soft and easily confused but okay as long as he knows he can trust the people around him. And occasionally having wild episodes of paranoia and delusions.

It's scary forgetting things, being confused, not knowing what's happening, knowing you can't trust your brain! Being out of control of his own mind is one of his greatest fears so that iffy stage in the middle where he's aware he's losing it would be devastating.

Staying and being supportive would come naturally to Ari, though, and I feel like she'd actually be able to see the bright sides of it, like oh Gavin's in general much more outwardly sweet and loving. They'd hang out and chill and she'd patiently remind him of things and prod him back in the direction of thoughts that made him happy. She'd visit regularly, but she'd have to practice having her own boundaries and not pouring her entire heart and soul into caring for him, doing what she can to make a difference without it consuming her life. He'd trust her and Trystan 100%, even when he starts forgetting everything else.

I think sticking around for this would be the hardest thing Trystan ever did, if they're still a thing at that point. I wonder how long they'd be able/willing to stick it out before they just couldn't anymore, and started avoiding Gavin altogether. At first they'd be there all the time as Gavin's security blanket and Gavin might flip out if they weren't around for a bit -- and time is weird with dementia so it might not take long. Eventually, Trystan starts wondering if Gavin only remembers them because they're always around, which makes them both want to leave twice as bad, and want to stay twice as bad.

Towards The End of the Bad Dementia AU, I feel like Trystan would lowkey rather Gavin just die than keep falling apart, and I think they'd eventually leave when they felt like there was nothing left of him. The entire process would be really hard on them and they'd just wander off for chunks at a time, which probably means eventually they come back and Gavin doesnt recognize them at all and that SUCKS, and I think that's the point where they're like "I can't do this, I'm leaving for good." I can see them regressing to that "aaa I'll just go live on the streets I guess!!! Like when I was a Youth!!" except they're super out of practice and more physically frail so it's way harder than it used to be. Probably Ari's kids go on a "retrieve ur depressed auncle from the homeless shelter" quest and make Trystan live near them or with Ari, and it looks up from there.

But in the Less Bad AU, all the fluffy vibes stay but Gavin just gets kinda forgetful and Softer, then eventually dies in a fairly rapid manner before he deteriorates too much mentally, and he's glad he has warning but also that it doesnt drag on forever. Maybe cancer, idk. Ari's kids still have to go drag Trystan out of the sewers afterward, but in this one, Trystan stays by his side til the very end.

shurara corps ark fix-it concept babeyy!!

also this is kinda rambly but whatever

when it comes to shuraras motivations here, maybe he could have been another childhood friend of keroros. idk how they could have been introduced, maybe through pururu or just by meeting in school, but ig that part doesnt rlly matter. what DOES matter though is that shurara decided to tag along with keroro, giroro, zeroro, and pururu on one of their misadventures and he gets hurt during it. BADLY. pururu patches him up, and zeroro apologizes like crazy (since he knows how much this sucks), but shurara is left with a strong dislike of keroro and friends. except for pururu, who he still likes (but im not keeping the crush bc it serves no purpose here) and zeroro who he kinda forgives a little bit but just because he apologized so much. maybe this could have resulted in some major physical injury that affected how he lived for a while, or maybe it spawned a phobia, but either way it left an impact.

putata and mekeke are sent in first with the goal of beating up the platoon a little bit and taking the star because they are the most skilled team. shurara doesnt want the star because of some stupid bandaid, but he wants to take it in order to both deeply hurt keroros pride and also to potentially have his platoon no longer be officially recognized, taking away something that means a lot to keroro. they actually succeed in taking the keron star kinda. when they get back to base, they realize that the star is fake, its just a piece of fabric or paper with tape on it (like what happened in the original arcs ending). this way the shurara corps will be established as an actual threat and also the ending will have actual stakes.

gyororo sends word back to base that the keron star putata and mekeke got was fake, so giruru is sent in to ACTUALLY get the real star, as well as punish the platoon for embarrassing the corps like that. this one plays out kinda like the actual episode (bc im too lazy to think of anything else), but all that matters is that he still ends up captured.

after this, the platoon is like ok this might actually be serious so they go on high alert. one day dororo notices gyororo (who was sent in a little before putata and mekeke to scout the place out and gather info) bc hes the only competent member of the platoon and confronts him, outing his presence to everyone. gyororo fights back but he is also captured in the end.

after the platoon has captured giruru and gyororo , shurara plans to capture and torture a member of the platoon as revenge. before he can do this though, dokuku and nuii decide to rescue giruru and gyororo in secret. nuii serves as a distraction to everyone while dokuku goes to rescue the fellaz. theres some minor conflict but in the end the four of them escape. after that happens, shurara is furious about his subordinates disobeying him and doing things behind his back, but he keeps his goal the same.

im gonna change yukikis powers bc they kinda suck and hes confusing. anyways yukiki isnt actually a snowman, but hes the hat! kinda like in mario odyssey, you put the hat on anyone or anything, and it will immediately be controlled by yukiki. he was an experiment done to try to make a sentient object, and he got his name because he was first tested on a snowman (which also makes it the form hes most comfortable taking). anyways, shurara sends in yukiki to capture someone by taking control of them, but hes defeated somehow and returns empty-handed.

im also gonna change robobos powers a bit. with robobo i dont think that he should have the ability to turn people into electronics because thats dumb and doesnt make any sense, so im gonna give him the ability to just control other machines. he also doesnt have a giant form, and can switch his hands between their magnet form and their drill form. anyways, at this point shurara is furious and decides that he doesnt care about capture anymore, he wants the platoon dead. he decides to send robobo for the job because robots dont have the same margin of error that living things do, or at least theyre supposed to. turns out, they totally do bc robobo also comes back with a failure.

after this, shurara somehow lures the platoon to his base (just like in the anime) but this time everyone is waiting for them there in a big empty room together. shuraras disembodied voice gets a monologue like in the anime and the roof opens, lighting the room up because its a bright spring day. kagege then appears and takes control of the platoons shadows like in the anime! all of the shadows are used to fight the platoon, as well as the corps themselves fighting. its an epic fight, but just when it seems like the platoon is all gonna die, the corps suddenly decide to stop fighting. they all tell the platoon about how shurara has been acting worryingly erratic and obsessive, so they agree to spare the platoons life as long as they confront shurara. the platoon obviously agrees, and theyre taken to a holding area so that shurara thinks that theyve won. they give them this offer because theyre not personally invested in killing these nerds, they dont really care. they ARE worried about shurara though, seeing how obsessed with this hes become.

anyways kagege reports to shurara (in my headcanon hes like shuraras right hand man or something like that) and is like "we beat the platoon, but we didnt kill them. theyre our prisoners right now and were gonna torture them before we let you do the honors" and then shuraras like "poggers!!! thats a great idea!!" and then proceeds to drink his choccy milk and play minedcraft. meanwhile, some of the others are actually patching the platoon up and telling them what to do with shurara. they tell the platoon to try to hurt him as little as possible, and DEFINITELY dont fucking kill him, but just try to knock some sense into him and restrain him or something.

the platoon asks why shurara hates them so much and whoevers patching them up doesnt know, but kagege comes down soon after and tells them shuraras motivations. after this, some understanding can be felt by giroro and dororo (bc they were there, even tho dororo is the only one who remembers shirara like at all) and keroro feels kinda guilty but not too much bc head empty. later, the corps has a big celebration feast and shurara declares that hell painfully kill the platoon bright and early tomorrow. in all the commotion, nuii convinces gyororo to sneak down into the platoons holding cells to bring them some leftover food.

the next day, the platoon is brought to the same room that they fought the corps in, and theyre tied up. shurara is talkin abt how hes gonna kill them all super painfully and stuff but little does he know that the ropes holding the platoon are actually not secure at all (on purpose), so the platoon all escapes their bindings and a fight with shurara ensues. when the platoon is in a tight spot, one of the corps will show up real quick and help them out, kinda like a support in a fighting game. eventually, shurara is tied up and defeated technically.

shurara is whining and stuff and calling the corps a bunch of traitors, but the corps talk to him about how worried they all are about him and that this whole thing has gone too far (you rlly think these goobers are worth all this effort??). shurara says something about how keroro hurt him before, so he wants to hurt him and his platoon back. the corps are like ya i get that but killing them is wayy overkill no pun intended. keroro apologizes and maybe dororo can say something about how keroro also hurt him in the past but hes been able to move past that or whatever and shurara is like bro ur right and he starts crying like da babey he is lmao and there u have it!!! the arcs over and everyone is ok and happy!!! found family trope pog!!!!!!

RED: also ptsd and autism #slay she also has psychosis although it kind of varies in severity, it's pretty low level and doesnt affect her life a ton for the most part but she will kind of occasionally slip into periods of debilitating paranoid delusions with hallucinations sprinkled in for extra flavor. its initially caused by all the trauma but her little months-long drug bender during fnv definitely uhh made that worse lol. her hearings also impaired later in life (gradually gets worse the longer shes been living in the wasteland)

MARA: mara is very messy and clumsy but she does her best to like clean up after herself after shes done doing whatever she was doing

RED: red is kind of a slob tbh. when she was a kid she would have to get like all her comics taken away and banned from hanging out with amata and cyan or playing baseball to be motivated to clean up her room

NIX: nix is neat but only because like. the way she was raised 1) she never really had a ton of stuff in the first place? so it was hard to be messy when there wasnt a ton of stuff to make a mess with. 2) her family was nomadic so there wasnt a lot of time to make a mess wherever she was, and if she did make a mess around camp she always helped clean it up before they packed up and moved again because a lot of emphasis was placed on not messing up the land and leaving it how they found it (this was partially for safety reasons as they were pretty much constantly being tracked by bounty hunters or the ncr, and partially just because respect for the environment was important to the bighorners) and 3) not wasting supplies was important, wastefulness was frowned upon and supplies were never really in great abundance so every time you cooked or sewed or tinkered or anything you took those scraps and turned them into something else useful instead of just tossing them aside

MARA: mara LOVES kids so much, she used to be a middle + elementary school art teacher before the war and she was so excited about having shaun. she brought synth shaun with her when she left the institute, and she is raising him with her wife (curie). i think one kid is more than enough for her right now when shes still dealing with a bunch of minutemen and railroad responsibilities but once she retired if there were like orphans that needed adopting she would 100% be down to have more kids!! she is not getting pregnant ever again though. she didnt even really want to when she had shaun before the war, and the idea of being pregnant in the wasteland is a million times less appealing

RED: red loves kids she thinks theyre so funny and cute and she is like uncharacteristically kind to them compared to adults. i dont think shed be a good parent though lol and she knows that so while i think when shes older shed love to be like an aunt or something she does not want to have kids of her own. she kind of does anyway though um LOL in my fo4 playthrough i know 100% she would never leave synth shaun behind to die so she brings him to sanctuary and asks jun and marcy to look after him but he still like is programmed to believe shes his mother so she visits and hangs out with him whenever she can. i think she likes him even if being called mom is soooo uncomfortable 2 her

NIX: nix thinks kids are cooler than adults <3 but its definitely hard for her to make friends her age since shes like #weird :( she has not thought much about having kids

NIX: stories from arcade, the medical supplies shes donated & help shes offered, and just her generally likeable personality have all made nix really well-liked around the old mormon fort and at least one of the Followers always has some sort of little present for her when she comes around to visit

MARA: most of mara's family is essentially immortal, and its hard for her to deal with. her son, her wife, and two of her closest friends will all stay the same as she ages and eventually dies and it scares her

RED: red finds it really hard to work with robotics after the events of fallout 3. tinkering with machinery and robots was a favorite hobby of hers, one of the first things about the wasteland that she truly enjoyed and that let her start to let go of her vault life and accept living in the wasteland, but her tremor makes the more delicate work almost impossible and some of the tech is just too reminiscent of the enclave for her

NIX: even by the end of fnv nix still doesnt remember her family in its entirety, although by this point she knows she has amnesia and she knows there are several people who were in her life but she cant remember. she feels really guilty about it, thinks if she really had cared about them then she'd remember
