ambriel has a massive ass scar from the finale of his show, it actually being a blast of dream power that got shot right into his skull, he can take weapons out of there or basically anything due to the reality controlling magic that was blasted into him, but it still hurts everyday remembering that event :) at least manny thinks it's cool though!

tonight, I can't stop thinking about how damaged byan's hands are... how, once you look past the colourful tattoos and the bright nail polish and the sparkly rings, you can see how absolutely battered they are. their knuckles are perpetually busted, always coated in some amount of cuts, scrapes, and bruising, but even beneath that, they're covered in scar tissue from past fights and violent outbursts. their entire hands are covered in all assortment of scarring really, from activities ranging from playing with knives and lighters to parkour accidents... and then you've got the way all their fingerprints on one hand are completely gone, replaced with burn scars... their palms and fingers are always pretty calloused too, thanks to all their climbing and hauling their own bodyweight around.

I never really thought about it before, but you can kinda glean a lot of information about them just from a good close look at their hands

#byan as a whole is covered in scars but like. their hands have the most concentrated amount I think #and always seem to be picking up more. it's rare to see them without at least a couple injuries on their hands tbh #idk I'm just having Feelings about it tonight and I couldn't tell u where it's come from #I think they'd actually be nervous to let someone look too closely at their hands if they thought about it too #it's kinda...... exposing in a way ig?#but that's kind of the way they are about their scars in general 🤔#they'll brag about em and show em off but like. the moment u take a closer look or start seeing more of them at once...#they start feeling vulnerable. it's all fun n games when they feel tough & cool #but then all too suddenly they feel their damage is on display #anyway...........#━━ ˟ ⊰ ✰ headcanon ⋮ danger in the fabric of this thing i made.

oh and this reminds me, i did get around to watching the new live action avatar show and for those who wanted to know here are my thoughts:

i did overall enjoy it, but like…you just cannot beat the og 😭 i felt so much darker and violent than the animated show and so much of the fun and joy that made the og shine was stripped away. while i liked the cast, the writers threw out a lot of the defining characteristics and important developmental arcs (sokka’s sexism being challenged by the kyoshi warriors, katara stealing the water bending scroll & her overall anger towards the fire nation for what they’ve put them thru, aang’s goofy childishness standing in the way of his avatar journey, etc). the things they chose to take out made everyone’s characters feel very flat.

i probably enjoyed zuko & iroh the most, i thought zuko’s actor was super sassy and bitchy & we love that haha. it was very cool to see the live action blue spirit & ko & other cgi spirits, but yeah…it could never take the place that the original show owns in my heart ♥️

I got a body for some heads I’m waiting on. Put Florian next to him since Florian (62cm) was my tallest doll. Charli loves laying on the legs of my dolls, and she immediately came over to nap on the new one 🐱

Trying to consider how I would dress them both.

La'zaar, I am putting that nasty greying beast in some kind of leather jacket but I literally cannot find the reference I am seeing in my mind's eye. For Ru'thûn... to be honest I want something similar to Ripley 8's outfit from Alien: Resurrection.

Either way I am asking after a large amount of leather, I suppose..

#I can't imagine either of them in anything too delicate or fancy. At least not for disguises.#La'zaar has his veils and such... and I realise that the long hair of his disguise complements it.#Can't find the words I mean.#I think it's a cool detail.#Ru'thûn... I suppose her masque could be considered ornamental.#There's no real analogous thing for it in a Human disguise though.#The first reaction of a Human is to find her scars worth sympathising rather than as an exploitable weakness. She has no reason to hide it.#Coming back to the veil thing. I think once I give him some collarbones I will revise the length of his hair.#Not to make the hair shorter... worry not. looking up info on keloid scarring is so helpful. thanks man I didn't think of trying that one

#well actually that kind of is relevant bc ive been trying to find more info abt tattooing keloid prone skin #which is effectively opting to wound urself. but everywhere is just like if ur keloid prone ummm. Don't do it 👍#theres not enough known abt keloids to predict if theyll be triggered or not by the healing process like it depends on so many things #i mostly get them from acne scars. but they dont always immediately appear sometimes its weeks or months after #n once u get them theyre permanent. treatments for them have a 100% rate of recurrence n will grow back bigger if u try to excise them #and they cant be tattooed over like other scars bc they dont hold ink n the irritation can cause them to get bigger too #it depends a lot on the tattoo artists skill/experience ig like u have to know Exactly how deep ur tattooing + how the wound will heal #bc if healing triggers keloids. well ill just end up with permanent scarring instead theres nothing i can do if it happens #which honestly might still look cool but its unpredictable bc they tend to extend past the original wound. n it wouldnt scar uniformly #urgh. i should probably talk to a gp n an actual tattooist abt it. i could ask to get like a rly small tattoo to test how my skin reacts #pointless thinking abt rn anyway cuz im not gonna get one any time soon i have some other shit to sort before that #but it would be so frustrating if i cant i have so many tattoo ideas i do rly want them.... :-(#ah well whatever.. im just procrastinating doing shit i need to crack on bc i cant spend another entire weekend doing nothing #after a month n a half of being on meds i feel like theyre becoming less effective. my task paralysis n focus is getting worse again :(#like its taking more and more effort its been rly noticeable at work. hoping its just bc of general mental health or poor sleep or smth #and not that im building tolerance or smth bc man. what else can i even do if that happens #this is gonna make me miserable to think abt so lets go do smth else!#at least i woke up feeling tons better today 💪💪💪 storm passed baby #.diaries

#man wont let me be happy.#at least. i think he attributes it to the horrors. yeah im pretty sure #BUT ITS NOT.#genuinely all the wounds i have these days are accidental.#sure. im more prone to wounds but thats just because i have a restless and wreckless soul.#and i am admittedly also. not normal about wounds.#but that is LITERALLY not any different than from before the horrors started. so >:P #sillyposting #anyway *twirls hair* lemme talk about my wound >:3 #okay so first one today was while prepping condiments. weve gotta put them in tiny tubs for the guests #and somehow. the pumping hold-onto-thingy. caught the hand-part of the thumb.#which was really annoying bc this was at the START of my shift and bandaids refused to stick (bc high movement)#anyway that one is pretty cool but not. serious.#neither is the next one but =w=b #ANYWAY the next one....#idk i was putting away a glass to be cleaned and. it exploded a little. whoops. no clue how.#but it nagged a part of my finger pretty hard.#so. ofc. blood. whatever. gotta go wash it off!!#i go. wash it off. and then i let the water stream from the same direction i was cut from. and i YELLED.#the water revealed part of the wound that was still concealed from me. namely. the part under the skinflap the glass had created.#so i got direct water into a relatively deep and fresh wound. yayy #we have someone thats in college for like. nursery or summ so she helped me put a bandaid on =w=b how nice.#so!! back to work i go!! absolutely not minding my finger and just going about. but then..... i look down again.#and blood is pearling trough the bandaid. trought the multiple layered bandaid.#back to nurse girl we go. o7 #new bandaid and some gauge this time. ok =w=b #anyway yeah not much else but this is pretty awesome rn if i do say so myslef.#i hope it scars but :/ since its in high movement....#idk #=w=b
