Its my turn to Rant!!

Ragatha rant time babyyee. Ep5 spoilers

So Ragatha is socially incompetent. Not awkward but fully on she does not know how to act around people, much less of how act like herself around people. We've seen a bit of it in earlier episodes with her brushing off her feelings, others feelings, and actions done by others as well.

But it's glaring in this episode. Right away she tries to comfort Pomni, since the jester looks miserable, but then walks off with Kinger when she doesn't get a response. Jax recognizes that and comments. She does that a lot with Gangle, bare minimum to check in, more to sooth herself, before continuing to try and make herself feel better (ie. Argue with Jax, help Kinger).

She cannot read a room guys. Jax and Pomni are talking under the stars, she walks over, and instantly starts with the usual tango her and Jax have, not waiting to see that it's a bit more somber and notice his tone. When Pomni asks Jax a question Ragatha answers for him, then realized she did something wrong, only after she saw he glaring, then apologizes. I do think she actually felt really bad about this, she is definitely one of the more expensive of the bunch.

Later, at the bar, they talk about jobs, Gangle touches about about her school life. Ragatha starts to overshare trauma, stops herself when she sees the others looking at her (she never finished listing off her issues), then tries to tangent into humour, it goes very badly.

look how uncomfortable she looks, she does not know how to breath in even casual social interacts. And that's the thing, she is the only one that we haven't seen casual interacts with. She only is there to try to be positive, argue, or listen to the others. We rarely see her actually try and Talk with someone other than Kinger.

Softball. This is a big one for her. Pomni tries to talk to her a give her a pep talk. Ragatha DOES NOT WANT THIS TALK look at her face-

shes irritated and brushes off Pomni. She doesn't believe that any thing that she isn't doing will work. Then her and Jax argue and she riles up easily, takes Pomni's words extremely literally then uses that as her excuse.

She may have done it to prove to herself that changing and being negative doesn't work. Do exactly what jester said in the most heavy handed way then throw it out as not something she should be. She walks off, then avoids that and changes topics to the game. When Pomni returns, Ragath looks scared at first (probably the earlier mentioned abuse reaction)

She doubles checks with Pomni, then accepts. Since she really does feel the need to prove herself and she has spent the entire day failing at talking to people. But she has faith that she can do softball. Then she doesn't get to do that

That was her chance to show Pomni she was "good" instead Pomni is not paying attention, she didn't get to hit the ball, and she is still angry. And then we get those three seconds of silence.

Like. Damn okay, she's really upset. Even after Kinger and the others congratulate her she still looks to Pomni and is upset about the casual time her and Jax are having. That this either day Jax has been feral, and is being rewarded for it, but she has been trying hard to do something, and is now alone.

And at the end, she doesn't try to solve her own feelings, she gives up and moves on. There's a lot more to it that I'm sure others can explain better but bottom line is. Ragatha does not understand how to act around people since she isn't very emotionally intelligent, she's just desperately trying to be. Obviously she is affected by past abuse and that frames how she handles interactions with others, she is very much aware and against what her mother did, and now she's overcorrecting and still not healing.

I've heard this from several sources now and apparently Hori says that the Todoroki family's story and Shouto's story of becoming the person he wants to be shouldn't be confused.

It also confirms how wrong the anime director's interpretation was about "the Todoroki family came" replacing Todoroki Shoto: Rising.

I was really really happy to hear from the teacher about the Todoroki family and Todoroki Shoto… T_T

Regarding the story of the Todoroki family, especially in the final battle, he said that he wanted to avoid Todoroki-kun becoming one of the people who stop Touya, and that the story of the Todoroki family and the story of Todoroki-kun becoming the person he wants to be are separate (the teacher's comments were that they should not be confused), and it was really good to know that he drew it with that in mind, I feel like I've already bought a ticket just by reading this comment. It was worth the price of the book (for me).

As for that page where Enji is looking at Touya looking happy in Dabi's clothes, surrounded by Rei, Fuyumi, and Natsu, I felt like I had a good answer as to the intention behind it, and I was glad that I had interpreted it correctly, so I was really happy with the sensei's comments.

Well, now I can easily understand the sensei's comments, but even though I say this, I honestly remember being really upset when I first saw this page in the magazine, huh? I wondered why Shoto wasn't here, and it was pretty tough to be the only one missing from the happy Todoroki family (in the first place, the magazine is full of heavy content), but then we went through the FINAL and I felt like I didn't need to look too deeply into Todoroki's absence here, or to put it simply, the essence of this place wasn't that Shoto wasn't on this ideal page, so this time I tried not to confuse the story of the Todoroki family with Todoroki's story, in other words, they're different stories. I was glad that I was able to hear the story and that Todoroki-kun isn't here, and that it neatly explained the interpretation of this page.

And it was made clear that the story about the Todoroki family and the story about Todoroki-kun becoming what he wants to be are separate, so I thought that chapter 431 was even better.

What I was really happy and glad about in chapter 431 was that, apart from Touya's story, there was no mention of the Todoroki family in the part that touched on Todoroki Shoto, and on top of that, they talked about the inner world of Todoroki Shoto, which I was really happy about.

The questions about what you like and what you want to do from now on were also really great. I was really happy that it was a story about Todoroki Shoto, a person who is choosing to walk his own path

That's why the comment that the story of the Todoroki family and Todoroki's story are separate in the first place really hit home

With this comment from the sensei, the story in chapter 352, "I can't avoid it if I want to get to where I'm going," and the story of Todoroki in chapter 431 that follows, became clearer (though it's not cloudy in the first place)

In the main story of Todoroki, as in chapter 352, the story of the family was definitely inseparable and unavoidable. However, I felt that the teacher's comment that it was just a part of the path that Todoroki-kun is on to where he wants to go, and not the end, confirmed the idea.

The main story is about parts that overlap with the family story, but I think that in the finale, the overlapping parts start to neatly separate again, and I think that in episode 431 we got a glimpse of the two stories existing on completely separate axes.

Anyway, I was happy to hear the teacher's comment here.

Weyler Nation! A quick WS2 Part 2 - I forgot to talk about 2 important points about Wednesday's arc.

SPOILER ALERT: MORE QUESTIONS THAN ANSWERS!

Yeah, I know the last part is about Tyler and I am already writing. But I swear the points of today are important to Weyler. Check it out:

1- The killer cuts Wednesday's eyes out of the pic:

This is creepy af! I wonder why they do that...

The first thing which came up to my mind was about removing the eyes can symbolize the killer’s desire to control how Wednesday sees the world, or to eliminate her ability to "see" him, metaphorically or literally. Eyes are often seen as the "windows to the soul," so damaging them can represent domination over her identity or essence.

I also thought about the killer may want Wednesday to be “blind” to something perhaps their identity, actions, or plans. Symbolically removing her eyes implies a desire to keep secrets or maintain dominance through secrecy.

I mean the fact that the killer might know about Wednesday's black tears and the fact he is removing her eyes out of pics is very specific. WHAT DOES HE WANT? DOES HE KNOW ABOUT HER FAMILY SECRET?

Now pay attention:

The frame with the pair of glasses and Wednesday with an eyeball on this specific position made me think with the possibility of the Killer may be removing the eyes of the victims and THIS WOULD BE INSANE!!! I wonder if the killer wants to possess Wednesday's powers somehow. or if the killer is herself as I theorized: WHY IS SHE DOING THAT? DOES SHE WANT TO GET RID OF HER POWERS?

BUT every cloud has silver lining.

2- The Fencing

It's really curious they have showed Wednesday and Morticia fencing blindfolded. It's a foreshadowing.

My theory is that there will be a point that Wednesday cant trust herself or her vision anymore. I'm guessing she will need to trust PEOPLE and that's something that challenges the core of who she is and forces her to confront both her greatest fear and her greatest flaw. To trust is to go against her very nature.

and here I'm already going to spoiler you with some Weyler content..

From Season 1, Wednesday is fiercely independent, hyper-rational, and emotionally guarded. She sees vulnerability as weakness and often mocks emotional connection.

Trusting others means surrendering control, something she hates.

To trust someone, she’d have to believe they won’t betray her, lie to her, or fail her. And that belief is antithetical to how she views the world: cold, deceptive, and dangerous. AND WITH WHOM SHE'S GOING TO TEAM UP ?

With her ex who is unpredictable, manipulative, dangerous and unreliable. Can you imagine how it sounds insane to Wednesday to trust Tyler again? But here I say: I don't think she will trust he's not going to disappoint her again(maybe she is already expecting a deceptive move by him). SHE WILL TRUST HE'S NOT GONNA KILL HER. HOW? Food for thought.

Her powers are tied to isolation and pain. Her psychic visions are triggered by touch and intense emotion.These powers are both a gift and a burden, and they’ve made her feel different, even among outcasts. She sees herself as a loner wolf because being close to others, emotionally or physically, is painful. And Tyler traumatized her! Mark my words!

Trusting others would mean accepting the pain of connection as something necessary, not avoidable.

Season 2 is clearly pushing her toward internal transformation, not just solving mysteries. The external threat mirrors the internal one: someone who tries to steal or manipulate her essence. To defeat the kiler, not just physically, but symbolically, she must become stronger in the one way She never could: by forming real human bonds.

That makes trust the climax of her arc. If she can’t open up, she stays powerful but emotionally hollow. If she does open up — she becomes whole.

and now, Weylers:

Trust Is the gateway to legacy. Morticia and Gomez trust each other completely. The Addams family thrives on loyalty.

Wednesday is heir to this emotional intelligence, but she's rejected it ... until now. The fact Hunter Doohan/Tyler had popped out in a sneak peek introducing the Addams family members still lives rent free in my head.

It's crazy how Hunter is voicing over the classic tango dancing of Morticia and Gomez and he is seated at the same scenario where Catherine and Luiz were being interviewed! Did Tyler and Wednesday's dance end for real?

Will they dance or die? LOL

At least it means Tyler is truly connected with Wednesday and her family? HOW??? August, please!!!!!! We need you now!

HEAR ME OUT! SHE WILL NEED TO TRUST EVERYBODY INCLUDING TYLER! TYLER IS HER ULTIMATE CHALLENGE!

Her growth into her role as someone with power and insight requires her to learn what her parents already know: power without connection leads to destruction. Trust isn't just Wednesday's test: it's her transformation.

By learning to trust, she risks the one thing she's always protected: her independence. But by doing so, she may finally evolve from a brilliant, lonely observer of the world... into someone who belongs in it.

Ok, I won't promise the part 3 for today, because I'm stil writing it BUT it will come. Don't worry.

This entire section is incredibly good. But I figuring shortening the quote is alright, this part was the easiest part to draw.
