Emotional Times (OP81)
Summary: Pregnancy was a time full of hardships. Hormones on high, stress of the incoming baby, and all the sudden changes were what this father-to-be was expecting, ready to face. What he wasn't expecting was having to battle his pregnant wife's newfound sensitivity to everything that could have her emotions changing in an instant
Part of my summer event!
It has been a rough time in the Piastri household. Oscar loves his wife, he really does, and god, would he move heaven and earth for her. In her current state though, she doesnât know whether she wants heaven or earth and if he brings her the wrong one she will burst into tears, but if he brings her the right one, she will also burst into tears.
There wasnât any winning. During moments like that, he just had to remember that greener grass on the other side. The other side where he finally has his own little family.Â
The couple had also both made peace with the fact he would be traveling a lot during the season and she would have to spend some of her pregnancy by herself. It was easy while she could travel in the beginning but a few complications cut her ability to do so off much sooner than the two would have liked. And she did not like this.Â
âHoney, please, get back in bed.â Oscar begged at 5 am. He was ready to head off to his next race, when he unintentionally woke his very pregnant wife up after giving her a kiss on the forehead.
This made her frustrated, she had finally gone to sleep after spending so much of the night tossing and trying to turn and the minute she drifts off he has the audacity to-
Then she realized he kissed her on the forehead because he was leaving her.Â
Now, she was holding onto him by the front door, in absolute tears at the thought she would have to do another race weekend alone.
âPlease, my love. It absolutely breaks my heart to leave you but I have no choice. Donât make this harder for meâŠâ Oscar tried to reason with her, but he was on the brink of tears himself seeing how much she wanted him to stay, realizing how much he wanted to stay. But he couldnât.
âOscar, I canât do it, please it's so hard being here all alone. I know it's clichĂ© but I canât even tie my shoes. How am I supposed to do anything? How am I supposed to take care of a baby when I canât take care of myself?â
He knew she wasnât trying to guilt him into staying or make him feel bad if he did leave. These were real concerns she had voiced before. But he felt so helpless in this moment, almost as helpless as she felt constantly.Â
The realization hit him, he couldnât leave her like this. It was unfair to both of them. He had to do something.
âI will figure something out, donât worry, Honey. Go back to sleep and when you wake up it will be much better, I promise.â He really shouldnât promise that when he didnât have a plan, but he couldnât come up with one while she was sobbing into his neck and holding on for dear life.
With a few hiccups and a small nod, he wiped her tears and gave her a kiss as he left the apartment. 45 minutes later than he would have liked, hopefully the group he was sharing the jet with didnât leave him behind.Â
She already felt better when she woke up, having gotten hours of sleep, finally. It felt so good to wake up well rested and without that many aches. Nothing could bring her mood down.
Except when she couldnât get in touch with her husband.
She knew he was traveling, that the minute his plane landed he was off to start preparing for the upcoming race. But no calls and no messages soured her mood real fast.Â
She tried to shake it off, she went about her day trying not to dwell on it, trying not to send him threatening messages for not answering her the second she texted him.Â
A call woke her up the next morning, well it was noon but she still wasn't pleased. Not till she saw who was calling.
âOh sweetheart! How are you?â Nicole Piastri asked.
If there was one person she loved almost as much as her husband, it was his mother.
âIâm okay, havenât heard from Oscar much, that asshole.â she grumbled.
âOh I remember the days, that's why I have my twitter afterall.â Nicole said, making her laugh. It was sometimes a wonder how her husband was Nicoleâs son.Â
âYeah well i-â
âOh crap, honey, I have to go! But Iâll see you soon, okay? Hang tight!â Nicole said before hanging up.
She didnât have time to dwell on the abrupt end to the call as a knock came from the front door. Connecting the two, she wobbled as fast as she could to the door, where her mother-in-law stood.Â
And then she burst into tears.
âOh, he told me you were going to do that but I didnât know it would be that immediate,â Nicole said as she went to hug her.Â
Through the tears and snot, she asked âOscar? What do you mean?â
âHe said he texted you, gosh, he is the worst at communication for someone who spends so much time on his phone,â she frowned at her daughter-in-law.
Quickly opening her texts, she saw he had messaged her a few hours ago:
Oscar: I told you I had a plan, just a few more hours, my love. I canât wait to see you in a few days :)Â
Thus the mother and daughter-in-law started their girls weekend. My god, it was exactly what she needed. As much as she loved her husband, this was 1000 times better than what she would have done if he was here. And despite how much she missed him, the weekend seemed to fly by.Â
Oscar: How is she? I am only half an hour away.
Nicole: Currently napping, but she has been good! Relaxed and happy. Hasnât even cried in the past few days
Oscar: Wow, I am almost offended she didnât miss me more?
Nicole: She needed girl time, you couldnât give that to her sweetheart. She also needed someone who actually knew how to correctly do laundry.
Oscar: Alright, mum, nice talking to you. I'll be back soon, please donât turn my wife against me.
Nicole: đ
Just as he did when he was leaving, Oscar unintentionally woke his pregnant wife up when kissing her on the forehead. Unlike when he was leaving, she didnât get upset. She was too happy to see him that the thought hadnât even occurred to her.
Holding him in a death grip, she recounted all she did while he was gone. She couldnât really go out much at this point, so hearing his mom still found a way to make her weekend enjoyable was a relief.Â
âI havenât even cried over something stupid in a while!â She said as she finished her account of the past few days.
âI heard, I am glad you are feeling so much better, my love. I hated being gone but hearing you had a wonderful time makes me so happy.â He said as he began to tear up, thinking about how awful it was to leave.Â
âOscar, come on, just cause i'm not as emotional doesnât mean you have to make up for itâ She teased.
After pestering him about how his time away was, he remembered he had picked up something for her, and while he bought it thinking he would use it to stop her tears, why not just give it to her while she is this happy.
âI picked up your favorite,â he said as he reluctantly handed her the food he got, shuddering at the unusual combination she loved oh so much.
The sound of her son gagging as he watched his wife eat had Nicole coming into the room to investigate. The picture of her pregnant daughter-in-law, happy as a clam while she ate her food, and her son holding his nose and trying to stop himself from throwing up was a sight she committed to memory and knew she was going to bring up for years to come.Â
âWhat have you got there?â Nicole asked, knowingly making Oscar gag again as he was reminded of the food combination.
âCottage cheese and ketchup,â she answered. Instead of disgust, the couple was confused by the light bulb moment Nicole seemed to have.
âMy goodness! That is what I craved with Oscar. Gross to think about now but I loved it then.â
âWhat! You never told me this?â Oscar asked, astounded he would be the reason his mom had to eat a combination that disgusted him so.
âI was saving it for the next podcast I did. Think Iâll have to talk about this moment too.â His mom teased.Â
Rolling his eyes, he turned to his wife and immediately clocked in on the frown beginning to form.
Both mother and son had the same exact thought: Uh oh.
âYou- you craved the same thing?â She stuttered out.
âUm, yeah? You okay, Honey?â Nicole asked, now on edge at the incoming storm.
Seconds of silence went by but were soon disrupted by the sounds of his wifeâs cries as she took in the information.
âBaby, what's wrong? Why are you upset at that?â Oscar questioned as he went to rub her back in comfort.
âIts just- that is so sweet, and the thought that- that I could be having the same cravings, is just- I just-â His wife didnât get to finish her sentence as more wails came out, followed by hiccuping. Â
Nicole and Oscar looked at each other in alarm as they realized that this was most likely the consequence of a weekend with no breakdowns. They had a long night ahead of them.Â

Parasite? Happy Broppy Day!
Poppy stuck her head into the doorway.
âBranch?!â
No response.
Next room?
âBranch?!â
The emptiness of the half built room made her voice echo.
She continued down the hallways. There's quite a few rooms he could still be in.
Lots more rooms than I remember being in the plans. More places to hide! I'll have to note the best spots I find.
âBraaaanch! I love hide and seek as much as the next Troll but no one has seen you all day and it's getting dark~!â She called out in a singsong voice.
She stopped in the main ballroom. The construction Trolls were finishing up for the day and packing away their equipment.
One of them noticed her in the doorway.
âQueen Poppy, did you need something?â
âHave any of you seen Branch today?â
âI saw King Branch this morning!â A Troll further away from them shouted.
âWonderful! Where did you see him?â
âNorth edge of the village.â
âDid you talk to him?â
âI tried, he wouldn't let anyone near him!â
âWhat do you mean?â
âHe told us he had very important King duties to attend to and he shouldn't be disturbed. Which is fair, if I had important King duties I wouldn't want to be disturbed either.â
The trolls around him nodded in agreement.
âThank you everyone. Everything is looking fantastic. Please have a good night annnnd you know what? Take a rest day tomorrow.â
The trolls cheered with high fives and praises for their Queen as they left.
King duties? North village edge?
Poppy tried to think what would be upsetting Branch that he would be avoiding everyone.
If Branch was here, he would be able to figure out what was upsetting Branch.
She tapped her chin as she made her way to the north edge to find clues.
Poppy hadn't gone this long without Branch around her since he was still living inâŠ
The Bunker!
Once she knew where to go, Poppy was at the hatch in no time.
She grabbed the handle and pulled.
Nothing happened.
She knocked.
No response.
Maybe he's not here?
She thought about leaving but then noticed the pile of dirt next to the hatch.
Almost as if the hatch had been opened recently and the build up of dirt had slid off.
Good work me!
Poppy knocked loudly on the hatch and called out his name over and over.
âGo away!â a muffled voice shouted from below her.
âBranch it's me, Poppy!â
âPoppy, go home! You can't be here! It's not safe!â
âNot safe?! Branch what's wrong? Let me help you! Please let me in!â
Poppy pulled harder on the handle.
âI can't!â
âWhy?!â
âCause I'm dying!â
Poppy didn't let go of the hatch, but she did stop in surprise.
âBranch, this isn't funny. You're scaring me. If you love me you will open this hatch!â
âIt's because I love you that I will not open this hatch!â
âWhatever is making you feel like you're dying, we made a promise. In sickness and in health! Remember? I'm not leaving!â
They argued back and forth over and over for a while before Branch stopped responding and descended back down his elevator.
An upset Poppy rushed back to the village to find Branchâs brothers.
She was able to reach Floyd and Boom's pod first.
They were able to calm her down long enough to get a vague explanation of what was going on.
They decided Boom would go and get the other brothers while Floyd went back to the hatch with Poppy.
After a while all of the brothers as well as Boom were all attempting to help Poppy get Branch to open up about why he thought he was dying.
At the very least they were trying to get him out of the bunker.
They all had very different ideas.
âBranch, it's Bruce. I'm going to count to three and you better hope that this hatch is open by the time I get to three. ONEâŠ. TWOâŠâ
Clay crossed his arms âBruce, stop. I can feel Branch rolling his eyes from here.â
Floyd pulled a sleeping Angel out of his hair and handed him over to Boom.
Angel immediately began fussing.
Floyd sat down next to the hatch.
âBranch, okay, you're sick. I understand that and I believe you.â
Floyd winked at Poppy.
âBut how do you know YOU are patient zero? You might have picked it up from someone in town?â
There was a long silence before he finally responded.
ââŠ..Maybe?â
âSo why don't you tell me what kinda sick you are? Poppy can check with everyone in town to make sure it doesn't spread any further.â
ââŠâŠ..WellâŠâ
Poppy silently cheered that Branch was finally sharing what was wrong.
âMy hair, it's somehow oily and dry at the same time but also changing shape at random. It's flaking and itching and it's making my whole body hurt! I have split ends! I've never had split ends! I haven't been able to find what it is in ANY of my books on diseases and chronical illnesses but that just means it's more important you guys stay away!â
Bruce sighed as he looked over to Boom. Angelâs cries had woken Phoenix and John Dory was trying his best to help Boom soothe them.
His eyebrows shot up.
How did he not think of it sooner?
âBranch, have you been getting sharp aches down your neck?â
ââŠYeah?â
Bruce chuckled deeply.
âBro, you can pop open that hatch. You're not gonna get anyone sick. I promise.â
âHow can you promise that?â
âBecaauuuuuse I've had this before!â
A series of mechanical knocking sounds were heard, before the hatch finally lifted slightly.
Branch's eyes appeared just below the lid.
ââŠYou have?â
âSure have! Thirteen times!â
âTHIRTEEN?! And it's not contagious?â
âNot in the slightest!â
âWhat is it then, if it's not contagious, is it genetic?â
â HA ! In a way, yes!â He grinned. âCome on out, Branch. I'll show you.â
He hesitated, but Branch lifted the hatch all the way and slowly stepped out.
The group was able to collectively let out the breath they had been holding.
Poppy launched herself at Branch and held onto him tightly.
âOkay, what's wrong with me, Bruce?â
Bruce gestured for Branch to lower his head so he could look in his hair.
Branch hesitated but slowly lowered his head.
Bruce gently pushed his hands through his brother's hair.
The thick hair tried to push back but Bruce was able to get to the particular spot.
It confirmed his theory.
He smiled widely and laughed.
He held the hair open with one hand and used the other to invite Poppy over to look for herself.
She blinked in confusion at first.
A knot?
âŠ
Wait?
A âKNOTâ KNOT?!
She gasped and looked over to Bruce for confirmation.
He nodded.
âEEEEEEEEEEEeeeeeeeeEEEEEE!â
Poppy squealed!
Branch was startled out of Bruce's reach.
âWhat?! What is it?! Is there like a parasite or something?! Someone better tell me or⊠I'll do something, I'm not sure yet!â
âBranch, you silly Troll, it's not a parasite, it's a baby!â
Everyone around them gasped!
âAâŠ.a what?â he said shakily.
Bruce put a hand on Branch's shoulder.
âBranch you're hair is forming an egg!â
Branch's eyes darted back and forth, waiting for the punchline.
He touched his hair slightly.
He thought back to everything that's happened.
It actually made sense.
âAnâŠ. an egg⊠I.. that's⊠wow⊠Poppyâ
âBranch?â
She held out her hands, inviting him to take them.
âI'm so sorry Poppy. I just-â
âStop right there mister! You did what you thought you had to do. You were willing to cut yourself off from the world to keep everyone safe.â
âYou're not mad?â
âOh believe me, I am so mad right now!â
Her voice became much softer as she stroked his face.
âBut at the same time, how can I be mad right now?â
âWe'reâŠhaving a babyâ he laughed through small happy tears.
Poppy held his face and they shared a sweet kiss.
Poppy grinned wide as her body became jittery.
âPleasepleaseplease pleaaaase! Can I get excited now?â
He smirked.
âI'll allow it.â
And Poppy burst!
âAHHHHHHH! AN EGG! WE'RE HAVING A BABY! GUYS WE'RE HAVING A BABY. I'M GONNA BE A MOMMY! BRANCH IS GONNA BE A DADDY!â
Everyone cheered excitedly. Shouting their congratulations over each other.
Poppy jumped between each brother, hugging them tightly in her excitement.
âAHHH! WE HAVE TO TELL VIVA! But oooooh we should probably tell Dad first. Then of course I have to tell Bridget, but thenâŠâ
Poppy continued listing off everyone they should tell. She wasn't telling anyone in particular, just kinda listing thm to herself out loud.
Branch received hugs and congratulations from each of them as well.
This was definitely better than how he thought the night was going to go.
Branch looked over to Floyd and Boom holding their two sleeping babies in their arms.
He smiled sweetly, suddenly being able to picture a similar future, with he and Poppy and their own kid.

Yoongi huffed and threw his eyeglasses onto the keyboard, rubbing his eyes so roughly he saw lights. It was no use; no matter how much he went over the evidence, again and again, he couldnât change it.
âHyung.â
He uncovered his eyes, only to be met with Taehyungâs sadness. His shoulders sagged from the sleepless nights ever since Jimin had gotten arrested, with dark circles bringing even more desolation to his otherwise heavenly features. He knew it wasnât Taehyungâs intention, but the sight only unnerved Yoongi even more.
âGo home, get some sleep.â
Taehyung flinched, âButââ
âThatâs an order, Officer.â
Taehyung stiffened and instantly bowed and showed his respects to his Superintendent before turning and leaving. Only then did Yoongi heave a deep breath and observe around him. It was weird seeing his department at the police station empty, without the officers at their desks taking calls or doing paperwork while on one of their 24-hour shifts. But they had all been shaken up, and so he had sent them home.
He was proud of his Division, and as their Chief, he couldnât be more certain of everyoneâs conduct and character. This included Jiminâs, and it was the reason why he was losing his mind over this case.
No matter how much he reviewed the footage and evidence, there was no mistake â Officer Jimin had seemingly shot his partner dead during an arrest gone wrong. This was a natural conclusion, judging by the body camera of the now deceased cop, Officer Junghee, that had captured Jimin nearing him with a fuming pistol in his hand. One that matched the ballistics report on Yoongiâs desk.
This was why the prosecution wanted to charge him with manslaughter at the very least, but Yoongi could not be convinced. The body camera also captured the panic in Officer Jiminâs voice and expression as he tried to save his downed partner. Yoongi didnât care if that was Jiminâs gun or if it was fuming in his hand â he didnât believe it.
âIt wasnât me!â The words Jimin shouted as he was arrested conveyed an absolute world of hurt and combined with the shock in Jiminâs eyes was seared into Yoongiâs retinas, causing him to dig the heel of his hands into his eyes again. But no matter how much he attempted to change the image, it wouldnât. Jimin, his protĂ©gĂ©, was still being handcuffed and taken away while begging, âI didnât, you have to believe me! He put it in my hands! Hyung!â
Yoongi nudged his eyeglasses off the keyboard, locked his computer, and grabbed his coat. On long nights like these, he didnât bother staying in uniform, only wearing black pants with a white shirt and his badge and holster belt. He made his way outside and got into his car, acknowledging whoever he met along the way. Temperatures were freezing, and his car didnât start immediately. He reached for his nicotine gum while he waited for the car to warm up. When it finally started, so did the 3 AM news on the radio right as he left the parking lot.
âIn a shocking revelation, an officer from the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency shot his partner dead after pulling up to a suspicious vehicle in Dongjak District. The mounting evidence is undeniable, and the prosecution is discussing the potential penalty in such a case, with the spokesperson revealing in a press conference that while mistakes happen, justice needs to be served.â
Yoongi kept chewing and driving as the prosecutorâs voice echoed through the speakers. On the outside, Yoongi was the picture of calm, cool, and collected, but inside, he was fuming. He had spoken with the prosecutor many times, who preferred a clean-cut arrest to build his case to run for whatever political role he was after rather than fight for justice, as he claimed. Yoongi had always known that multiple interests abound in the justice system, but now he was starting to get pissed.
When he parked the car, he looked outside through the windshield, observing quietly as the people moved in and out of the Aether. The bouncers kept drunks at bay, and despite the booming music and the flashy lights, everything looked normal for a nightclub.
He removed his belt and badge, shoving them in the glove compartment so hard that something fell out. He reached to grab it from the floor, his frown instantly turning into a scowl. It was a photo of him hugging a woman, laughing, taken many years ago when they were still happy. When they were not even married yet, let alone divorced.
He got out of the car and ripped the photo into as many tiny pieces as possible, dropping the scraps in a trashcan along with his gum. Then he stopped in front of the bouncers with his hands in his pockets, saying six little special words.
âI want to see the boss.â
The first bouncer just scoffed a laugh and shook his head, but the second one eyed him from head to toe, âIf youâre here to inspect, then you have to identify yourself first.â
âNot an inspection,â Yoongi said nonchalantly, glancing around. âItâs not an official visit.â
The smirking bouncer kept the flow of the people going in and out while the serious one, resembling the first almost to a T, pressed his earpiece further into his ear, waiting for orders. Yoongi had noticed the cameras already while he was walking up, and he wondered how long it would take for them to know exactly who he was and why he was there.
The serious bouncer moved closer to him, âAre you armed?â
âNo.â
âI have to make sure.â
Yoongi glanced at him, then nodded, raising his hands as he let the man make sure he was unarmed. When the tall man rose from his knees after checking Yoongiâs ankles, he lowered his arms and waited for the goon to catch his breath.
âAlright, you can go in.â
He moved past the bouncers and into the entryway, but he hadnât even made it to the coat check when someone approached him. Just by the light clothing, styled hair, and badge hanging on his belt, Yoongi could immediately tell that the man worked there.
âFollow me.â
Yoongi wasnât there to sightsee, but he could appreciate the columns and marble structures and statues. Along with the paintings, velvet curtains, and carpets, it made the Aether look like a temple or divine abode of the Gods. The aesthetic intensified as they went up the stairs, but he didnât have time to register much. In a second, he was walking into what appeared like an ordinary office â a pleasant space with a large desk at the center in front of huge dark windows that showed the lights flashing from the dance floor. He ignored the liquor table, the cabinets with files, and the black velvet sofas to the side. What his eyes were immediately drawn to was you â you who had pushed the large computer screen to the side so you could watch him come in. Your chin rested graciously on your intertwined fingers, with your elbows on the desk, eyes flickering with amusement, watching him through dark curled lashes. He hadnât even noticed he had walked to your desk or that the door had closed behind him, but then you stood up, letting your delicate arms fall alongside your tight black dress. Your black, straight hair slid over your shoulders, framing the plunging cleavage of your dress, and when you smiled, he felt hotâmolten hot.
âWelcome, Superintendent,â you smiled with a glint of amusement, your perfect teeth shining in the overhead light, and he clenched his fists behind his back. âOr should I say Yoongi? I was told you werenât here in an official capacity, butâŠâ You eyed him from head to toe, and he did his best to stay poised and calm. âYou donât look like youâre here to club.â
Yoongi was already sweating, not out of nervousness but because of you. Because you always eyed him like you owned him, always had a hint of mischief to every smile, and were always as elusive as a ghost. One he couldnât catch and had grown tired of running after.
Still, hearing his name in your mouth for the first time⊠made him pull on the collar of his shirt, âNot here to party; Iâm here on business.â
Your eyebrow twitched, and he looked at you seriously; you were a cunning fox of the worst kind. Worse than a weed, than a pest, than the bloody smoke still hanging in the air and making his fingers twitch. He had a simple goal, and he had to stay focused.
âNot an official visit, but youâre here on businessâŠâ you mused out loud then shrugged. âSoon, it will be four in the morning,â you revealed with a hint of disdain as you neared the table that held liquor in crystal decanters. âSurely, if you wanted to do something official, youâd wait at least three more hours?â You chuckled as you poured a finger of whiskey into a glass. âWant some?â He shook his head, and you shrugged again. You made your way back to your desk, but instead of going around it, you perched on the side of it, close enough for him to see your dress parting, giving hints of your upper thighs, âWhat can I do for you, Chief?â
Yoongi had nerves of steel; he ignored the lush skin of your thighs, the cleavage, the numbing sound reverberating through the walls, the dimmed lights, and the way your eyes seemed to challenge him with every blink.
He focused, âI want your help.â
Your eyes widened comically, the image of innocence and confusion, âMine? What could such a powerful person need from me?â
Thankfully, your coy attitude irritated him and helped him concentrate. âI know the suspicious car they were chasing was one of yours.â
Your eyes widened even more, but this time, you brought your glass to your lips to hide a smile, âMy, my, Officer. I know I have many cars, but to say I was a fugitiveââ
âYou know what I mean,â his jaw clenched, and you licked your lips.
âI donât,â you could only smile, and he clenched his fists again. There it was. It pissed the fuck out of him. âAre you going to arrest me, Chief? Make good use of those deduction skills of yours and put pretty handcuffs around my wrists?â
He hated that his heart jumped in his chest as you whispered salaciously and leaned into him, shortening the distance between you. He hated how tempting you looked, and he hated the way your eyes fixed on his, as if you were ready to follow suit with your provocation. You were probably a tease like that with everyone all the time. It pissed him off even more.
He only blinked, ever the master of showing a relaxed demeanor, âI have no evidence to arrest you, nor am I here in that capacity.âÂ
It instantly hit him, as you straightened your back and finished the drink in your hand, that he was going to have to ask for your help. Not outsmart you, not convince you, not squabble with half facts and hunches â he needed your help and that meant he had to come down off his pedestal.
âMyâ An officer from my team will be sentenced for something he didnât do. Iâm out of options; Iâve hit a dead-end.â
Your lips pressed into a thin line as you put down the empty glass, âDonât tell me â the system he holds and protects with his life wonât even try to prove his innocence.â
His jaw clenched; he hated that you werenât completely wrong. âIâm trying to prove his innocence.â
The corners of your mouth twitched in a smile. âWhat makes you think I can help?â
He kept his mouth closed for a thoughtful moment. There was no use in accusing you again. Your smile wasnât sly, so he decided to go for it. âYouâre one of the biggest players.â
âMe?â You acted surprised, âI just own a few businesses here and thereâŠâ
âThey say youâre the one to contact for information.â You tilted your head, and he insisted, âEven if that wasnât your car, youâd know about it because it was on your turf. Youâre you. I just know you know something that can help us solve this.â
That answer seemed to satisfy you because your lips and eyes revealed a small yet genuine smile that caught his breath. It made him realize he was leaning towards you now, exposing himself like that, but he couldnât bring himself to hate it. Not when you looked at him like that, feeding into his hope.
âSay I do,â you started, eyes fixed on his. âSay I have evidence that could exonerate Officer Park.â He snapped straight; he had never told you the name of the Officer, and the media didnât know it either. Yet what got him were your words, âWhy would I help you?â
He clenched his jaw so hard that his teeth clicked. He just about growled with the way irritation mixed with his desperation, making him reel.
âCome on, Chief. Talk to me,â you pressed, wanting him to push through both the shock and the stick up his ass. âYou must be desperate enough if youâre asking for my help, and Iâm not denying it. Iâm saying I might have what you need. What would you do to save an innocent from prison for life or worse?â
He didnât think, âYou have it? Something that could undeniably prove his innocence?â
He knew before he was done asking that it was impossible and that he was acting crazy. Yet, you leaned into him, meeting him halfway, your breath hitting his chin, âIn those exact words? I do.â You sat back and let your words sink in, not knowing they gave him a full-body shudder. He always knew you were powerful and had your ways, but holy shitâ âWhat do you have that I want?â
He opened his mouth but instantly closed it. Objectively, he had nothing. But maybe there was something he could do. First, though, he needed to know it was real. âWhat evidence do you have? Show it to meââ
âHmmm, no,â you pressed your lips and twisted your nose, displeased. âThatâs not how this works. This is based on trust. Besides, you donât seem to have anything to offer.â
For a split second, he wondered if you were bullshitting him, but he honestly didnât care. He had to do something. âYou want something concrete for a maybe?â
âDonât make me repeat myself,â your tone hardened as your expression lost humor.
âAlright, name it. Tell me what is worth your help.â
His tone was soft, and it worked to soothe you. His dark eyes helped; there was so much willingness in them, and you liked that. The man there asking for your help to correct an injustice was the kind of man you were looking for.
âSince you asked,â you cheekily started, pulling your hair behind your shoulders. âI want three things.â He didnât even blink, so you continued, âThe first is a favor. Of my choice and at my discretion whenever I shall need it. The second is for you to get on your knees. And the third is for you to eat.â
He blinked, âWhat?â He looked down to follow your hands over your thighs, and you spread your legs for him, though the black dress covered between them. He shook his head in bewilderment, âYouâre crazy!â
âCrazy?â You chuckled, âI think Iâm being quite reasonable.â
âYouâ Do you hear what youâre asking?â
He sounded breathless and could feel the heat on his cheeks, which was not ideal. He almost managed to step back, but a quirk of your eyebrow kept him still â he needed that evidence.
âOh my, Chief Min. Are you getting heated at the thought of a couple of favors?â He scoffed, and you continued your tease, âOr is it the knees? Too proud to beg?â
âNo, not too proud,â he mumbled between teeth. He was ready to kneel on the floor and beg, and the heat rising in his neck told him the rest wasnât a problem either. And that was the problem. âThe favorââ He cleared his throat, scratching it, âWhat is the favor?â
âI donât know yet,â you shrugged, and it seemed to him like it didnât matter. He knew that couldnât be true, that had to be what you were really after â something specific from the Superintendent of the Seoul Metropolitan Police. And yet your eyes were shining in such a way that he almost forgot who you were. Almost.
âSomething illegal, no doubt.â
You sighed and he took the moment to let the anger cool him â you were a criminal about to use his good intentions to surely accomplish something even worse. Instead of cooling him, irritation made him snap his knuckles and shift on his feet.
âI donât know what it is, but it shouldnât matter,â you said more coldly, squinting your eyes. âWhat is worth an innocentâs life? You decide.â
There was a hint of impatience in your tone that only riled him up more. He turned to you, âWhatâs stopping me from justââ
âYouâre not that stupid,â you interrupted, raising your chin. His eyes noticed the surveillance cameras and you smirked, âTheyâre not who you should be concerned about.â
Your smile was predatory but he scoffed. You didnât need to threaten him, and he didnât like the coercion. He refused to look at you for a moment, giving you the impression that he was weighing his options. In reality, he was figuring out what angered him more â the fact that he was about to make a deal with a devil like you, or that he was that turned on from it.
You huffed and got off the desk, your heels clicking on the floor like a timer had just gone off. âNever mindââ
He grabbed your arm to keep you from walking away, and in a second, something sharp was poking his lower stomach. You both froze in place, your gaze angry and fixed on his, while his heart raced inside his chest. He didnât let go of your arm, and you didnât lower your knife.
âI never heard a yes from those pretty lips, soâŠâ you spoke quietly, then pressed the blade harder. âHands off.â
He knew you could put your money where your mouth was, and that if you wanted to kill him and get rid of him, you would. Yet, his grip didnât lessen as he observed you. He was still trying to figure things out â not what to do, but you. He hated you objectively; you represented everything wrong with the world. Jimin was innocent; you shouldnât be bargaining for his life, you should do the right thing. But you werenât, you wanted to play with fire. Maybe even to get burned.
âWhat is itâŠâ he started quietly, still eying your angry eyes. âIs it the risk? The humiliation? The footage for blackmailing me later? The power over a figure of authority?â
You scoffed, leaning in to answer just as quietly, âNo risk, Chief. The footage might be insurance, but youâre a man of your word. No power over you because youâll be doing it willingly. And no humiliation,â you chuckled. âItâs a privilege to eat at this table. AlthoughâŠâ You looked down, then smirked. âI can play if thatâs what you like.â
He looked away from your eyes for the first time and almost flinched; his pants had a tent. He couldnât even think; why was his body betraying him like this? He tried pulling away and letting you go, but you pressed the tip of your knife harder.
âNuh-uh,â you whispered, taking a deep breath a little closer to his neck. âI heard the missus left cause you couldnât get it up, but wonât you look at thatââ Your tone was sly, and he gripped your arm harder in retaliation. You laughed, âI guess she just didnât know how to play. Or maybe you like this,â your voice lowered wantonly, and a shiver ran up his spine as though he was starting to attune to it. âLike not having a choice, to be in danger, to be forced to do something reprehensible.â
He had to lick his lips because for a second he thought he was drooling, âI have a choice.â
You smiled and his cock twitched, âThen choose.â
He eyed your smile and leaned into you, but you chuckled and playfully pressed the tip of the knife to impose distance, ignoring the red droplets tainting the fabric.
âOn your knees, Chief.â
His eyes snapped to yours, and he pulled you by the arm, disregarding the blade, so youâd walk back until the back of your thighs hit the desk. Then, he gripped your hips and helped you on the desk, fisting your dress in the same movement to get it out of the way as he kneeled between your legs. Your knife had slipped from your hand as you rested them on the desk for support, and you didnât think to pick it back up. You wanted him to eat you and mean it, but he was going above and beyond â nuzzling your thighs and inhaling your scent, frantically fighting with your dress, and trying to pry your legs further apart so he could have access.
When his nose poked your clit, you jumped in place, and his fingers dug into your hips, even through the fabric of the dress. Just looking at the way he was fighting to get his mouth on you was positively melting you, but you wanted it to actually happen.
âSlide them down,â you breathed after he nuzzled and licked your core through your panties enough times to cover you with goosebumps.
He immediately obliged, and you shimmied to help him get rid of them. He threw them on the floor, then gripped your legs apart before giving you a look that seared you in place. You didnât know what it was, but you were living for it, and the excitement burned your gut. The Superintendent looked like a piece of forbidden heaven between your thighs; who knew heâd have you melting like this just at the hint of doing what you asked?
A smirk spread on your lips as he kept struggling with your dress, until suddenly â rip. He bunched the fabric and pulled it, causing the slit that revealed your thigh to rip, and you chuckled. You liked that energy, that hunger; the way he was willing to destroy to have his way. Instantly, he had free leeway to uncover your core and press his mouth, rolling his tongue all over your slick folds.
You jolted with a sigh, gripping his hair at the back of his head. The more he laved his tongue over your slit to taste you, the more you had the urge to move, but you stayed still. With your eyes closed, you enjoyed every second of his discovery, from his licks to his tasting and humming. You heaved the breath you were holding when he nibbled your heat right before finding your clit to suckle, and your voice finally came out. You could almost laugh at how easily he had found his way, but your mind wasnât there. While he found his rhythm, you guided him with expressive sighs, grazing your acrylic nails over his scalp without ever forcing him. You wouldnât; his hunger was part of the power trip. Chief Min would eat you, give you what you wanted, and service you because you had that much power. You could bring someone like him to his knees. He liked it.
You suddenly pulled on his hair so heâd look up at you, and he did, not even bothering with a quizzical look. You bit your lip to stop a smile and relented your grip, and he looked down for a second. It was all it took for him to get back to it, and you let your head fall back with a sigh â case in point.
âThe things you do for duty, ChiefâŠâ
His tongue kept laving over you as if you were desert, focused, regardless of your taunt. In fact, he seemed to have forgotten where he was or why because his hands started gently exploring your spread thighs. His fingers pressed to your curves and didnât stop even when he felt the garter that held the knife you had used on him. Instead, he pulled on it, making it snap against your thigh, ripping a stronger moan from you.Â
It was then he realized you needed something stronger, so he pressed his face harder against your cunt, latched onto your clit, and started rutting into you. You were surprised but instantly melted, and your fingers curved around his hair. The grind of his lips pressing into you while his mouth held the suction was already maddening, but the thrumming of his tongue on your clit was the cherry on top. You didnât have time to make it a challenge, or maybe you didnât want to; his rhythm was perfect against your heat, and you moaned when it intensified. The strumming was precise and maddening, each tap firm and steady, giving you enough time to despair for the next one and moan when it came, leaving you to anticipate what would come next.Â
Your hips started moving on their own, and that was when you knew you had let go. There was no point in pretending he wasnât doing it just like you wanted, or that you werenât rolling into his face to feel him harder, forcing him to dig his long fingers into the flesh of your hips as he drank the slick melting out of you. The very sounds of his humming and licking drove the blood to your cheeks and emboldened your hips, messily humping against his mouth. You could feel the edge right before you, and every time you ground on his mouth, you thought that would be it.
âFuck,â you groaned between teeth, looking down to find burning brown eyes drinking you more greedily than his hot mouth. He wasnât stopping you or holding you back, he was letting you fuck his mouth however you wanted, and it popped you.Â
You let your head fall back and pressed his face to your cunt, your moans pitching higher when he sucked harder, as if to pull all the pleasure out of you like it was venom. He rode your climax with you, gripping your trembling legs around him as though he wished youâd smother him, and finally, you looked down. Your walls were still throbbing in the aftershocks when he dragged his tongue across you slowly, and you groaned through a smirk, then pulled him away by the hair.
âEasy there,â you smiled and let your legs down.
You quickly pulled your dress down to cover you again while your other hand raked through your long hair, putting it in place. He rose slowly to his feet with his eyes on you, and you didnât even try hiding your heaving chest; he could see it well with such an observant gaze. His eyes were so intense that you shuddered and bit your lip, but avoiding them only landed your own on his evident arousal, and you smirked.
Looking up, for a moment, your taunt got caught in your throat. Min Yoongi looked the absolute best covered in your cum from nose to chin â deliciously ravenous.
You licked your lips, raising your hand to his face but stopping before you touched him. He mimicked you, his pink tongue collecting your slick over his lips while he focused on yours. Still, when your hand moved down, so did his eyes. You smirked, dodging his erection at the last second to hide your hand under your dress.
You hummed, closing your eyes as your fingers collected your wetness mixed with his saliva, and then brought them straight to your mouth. You licked them first, tasting what he did before putting them in your mouth and sucking.Â
You clenched, knitting your eyebrows as you realized how turned on you were. You were throbbing and craving something to push into you and fuck you senseless, and opening your eyes, you saw the same urge staring right back at you.
Your fingers left your mouth with a pop, and then you smiled, shaking your head, âShould have asked for a good fuck too.â
His dark eyes stayed on yours for a moment, and even when he wiped his chin with the back of his hand, they remained on yours. It was almost a taunt, and you grinned; you loved a good challenge, and even more the kind of fucking that lustful gaze promised. But you knew the worth of asking, and you were not going to come out losing.
âMaybe next time.â

What about a princess bunny-hybrid! reader (chubby like always) that has a secret romantic affair with a wolf-hybrid knight?
Nothing too original lmao but.... Maybe NSFW involved, please?
NSFW
warning: dubcon, somno, breeding, pregnancy
You had always been taken care of with a tender hand, your wolf!hybrid knight never letting you feel alone or afraid for even a second.
He absolutely adored you, that was clear to anyone that watched him interact with you for more than a minute⊠but unfortunately for your poor knight, you were oblivious to his romantic affections.
That was until the day your knight went into rut. Usually, he locked himself away from the world, not wanting to harm anyone⊠especially you.
But this time he had been on guard duty, staying by your side constantly due to a recent assassination attempt.
So when he watched over you sleeping, defenseless body as he stroked his fat cock, knotting his hand, he couldnât help but gently press his tip to your tongue that poked out of you mouth.
It was straight up sinful. Knights were supposed to protect the purity of their princess and make sure they remained untainted⊠but here he was, using your thighs to get off as you snoozed peacefully.
It wasnât long before that wasnât enough. Your knight watched you like a predator watched its prey.
But you werenât afraid. Your fluffy bunny ears twitched happily every time you saw him. After all, the two of you had been close since childhood.
âH-hey, you sure this is okay?â
Your knight licked your neck, your bottom lifted in the air and cotton tail wagging furiously as his cock rubbed against your bunny cunt.
âOf course it is, princess⊠just⊠trust me okay..?â
He panted, his tail swaying as he pressed against your tight hole. âBe a good girl for me, I always take care of you, donât I?â
That was the first time he sunk his cock into your pretty pussy, starting off your love affair.
Youâd think as a knight he would already be protective enough, but it only increased tenfold now that the two of you were mates.
He was able to keep it a secret for a while, excusing the issue of scenting you by saying it was for protection, and mating you in secret.
It got a bit harder when your belly started to swell with his pups and all you wanted to do was nest and be mated.
âMmm!!â
He sighed as you tugged on his shirt, your chubby cheeks puffed out. His hand immediately moved to rest on your swollen belly as he began to groom you.
âWhat is it, my princess?â
You only whined at him some more, pulling him to your nest. These days he had been spoiling you rotten, unable to leave his precious mate upset in the slightest.
âWanna mateâŠâ
Your fluffy bunny ears twitches as you tried to get into a position so he could mount you, but lying on your belly wasnât an option.
He quickly grabbed you by the hips, laying you on your side. âShh, shh, careful now, my princess⊠youâre carrying our pups, okay?â
The feeling of his fingers slipping into your fat cunt made your cotton tail wag furiously, and his own tail began to thump against the bed.
âThat feels good, princess? Sweet girl getting all wet got me, huh?â
Being stretched out just enough for his cock to slip into you made your body shudder. If he could, your mate would keep you on his knot all dayâŠ
Soft whimpers left your lips as he tried to be gentle with you, the tight grip on his hips telling you how much he was restraining himself from pounding into your sweet pussy.
Your scent was so intense now that you were pregnant, he couldnât help knotting you within minutes. If anyone knew how often he had the princess of their kingdom blubbering in pleasure as he bounces you on his knot, theyâd be shocked.
His claw circled your swollen belly. In reality, he feared his pups may be persecuted once they were born due to him not being of royal bloodâŠ
âMy princess⊠I love you more than anything, you know⊠but some people wouldnât want us to be together.â
The fog keeping your mind fuzzy cleared at his words, and your eyes twitched nervously. âWhy? I love you, youâre my mateâŠâ
You were too innocent, unaware of the implications of being impregnated by a commoner like him.
âI am, my princess⊠but they want to take you away from me. They are beginning to become suspicious of your growing belly and our close relationshipâŠâ
When tears began to fall down your chubby cheeks, he cursed under his breath. He felt terrible for being so selfish, putting you in harms way because he wanted something he wasnât supposed to have⊠you.
âN-no, I wanna stay with you! Youâre all I knowâŠâ
As you cried and sniffled, he licked your cheek before pulling you closer to him.
âShh, shh⊠oh my love, donât you know I am your knight? No need for years, they can never take you away from me. I will fight for our love until my body gives out.â
He sat up, causing you to whine and reach for him. âMy love, if you want us to stay together, we must leave before your pregnancy is uncovered.â
Your bunny ears flicked, and you looked up at him with your teary eyes. âAre you asking me to run away with you?â
He pulled you to your feet, helping you stand on your wobbly, post breeding session legs.
âWill you?â
You answered by clinging to him and butting your head against him affectionately. After scooping you up, he covered your soft cheeks in kisses before setting you on your bed.
âSleep, my dear. Iâll take care of all of the preparations.â
With that, he tucked you in, leaving the room to prepare for your future together.
He would have you, and no one would get in the way of his love for his princess.
After all, a knight was supposed to protect his princess and make sure they remained happy.
And you were happy in his armsâŠ
Part 2?

first sleepover with worst!logan *mdni
the two of you hadn't been together very long before you invited logan to stay over; and to say he was hesitant would be an understatement.
"i'm not sure, princess..." he mumbles, getting up from the couch to leave again.
"c'mon lo..." you purr, stopping him by crawling into his lap. "it's getting late anyways."
this was the latest he had been over; almost three am. you weren't sure why he was so insistent on leaving, during the day he would hang around your apartment for hours but when night falls, he's eager to go. none of it made sense to you but to logan, it was crystal.
to start, he didn't want you to get too attached. logan couldn't have a sweet young girl like yourself get wrapped up in his twisted ways. from the moment first saw you in your silky, tiny nightgown he knew he wouldn't last a whole night alone with you.
"ain't gotta worry about me, sweetheart." he said, tucking a strand of lose hair behind your ear. "i can take care of myself out there."
you look up at him with these sad pouty lips that remind logan of one of the many times he's been shot in his lifetime. he loathed how soft you're making him; smoothing ever sharp edge of him until you've molded him into your perfect mate.
"pretty please, logan." you whine, wrapping both arms around his neck. the begging was only making it worse for him.
"i don't want to have to do this, doll face." he sighed, hands unknowingly traveling to your hips and playing with this silk.
"then stay here with me."
logan didn't think he was this weak. the old him would've just barked in your face and stormed out of the apartment already; but instead he's being dragged into your bedroom. the only part of your apartment that logan has never seen. well, technically he's peeked in once or twice but he's never been inside. everything about the room reminded him of you. soft pastels plastered everywhere and cute little decorations littered about.
what really got him was your bed. baby blue sheets with matching pillows and a decorative heart pillow front and center. if wade saw him sitting in this girly bed, logan would never hear the end of it. but for her? he would lay here until he died.
"whatcha think?" you ask him with a small smile.
"looks just like you; pretty and vibrant." he says, one hand on your jaw to pull you into a quick kiss.
logan stripped himself of his shirt before climbing in next to you. both of you laid on your sides with one of logan's arms wrapped firmly around your abdomen in the quiet bedroom. time passes and logan thinks he's finally got himself under control; falling asleep peacefully for once.
"mmm... lo..." you groan softly from your slumber.
logan wasn't an idiot, he knew what has happening. it wasn't easy but he tried to block you out, ignoring your sweet cries for him which had become manageable until you began squirming against him; your volume increasing little by little.
finally, he had to put an end to this torture. both large hands placed on your waist tightly and almost harshly to stop your movements, ultimately awakening you.
"lo, what are you-"
"can't even behave while sleeping, huh?" his voice was hot against your ear. logan's right hand travels up the nightgown to paw at your chest in a way that made your eyes roll back. his left hand travels south, exposing the thin matching material underneath your nightgown which sends your head flying back against his shoulder. the movement exposes your neck to him, biting and licking as he pleases.
"s-s-sorry for... for w-waking you up-p." you apologize, moving against his lower hand.
"no need to apologize, dollface." logan chuckles darkly at the eagerness and candor in your voice. "this is a much better sleepover than i imagined."

It was another quiet night, in a bed far too large for one. The wind was gently blowing through the curtains, bringing with it a cool breeze and the smell of the sea. It was late, and everyone was asleep, yet you laid awake, tossing and turning, unable to fall asleep.
You rolled over onto your side, the silk of the sheets sliding against your bare skin. These days, sleep evaded you, no matter how much you tried. If it wasn't your thoughts keeping you up, it was your changing body and the ever growing life inside of you.
Three months ago you had gotten married to the prince Daemon, a dream of many girls across the kingdom. But your marriage was hardly that. The day after the ceremony you woke up in an empty bed, and hadn't seen your husband since, leaving you to wonder if you had done something wrong.
He had left you no letter, no message. Nothing. Only the memory of your wedding night, the way he touched and kissed you, his sweet whispers of adoration as he made you his. On the loneliest days you would close your eyes and remember it all, his lips on yours, the way his fingers caressed you, the feel of him inside you.
You place your hand on the small bump of your stomach, a smile spreading across your lips. Although it had only been one night, he did his duty and you were pregnant. A piece of him was always with you.
But it wasn't enough.
You longed to see him again, to touch him and be held by him, to tell him of the life growing within you. You wanted so desperately to be with him, but instead you were left with the ghost of his love, a memory that wasn't enough to fill the hole in your heart.
You sighed, trying to push away those thoughts, and attempted to fall asleep, but every time you closed your eyes all you could see was his handsome face. You opened them again and sat up, staring into the darkness.
You could see the light of a torch through the cracks of the door, and the sound of footsteps. You knew exactly who it was, the guard outside your door. His shift was almost over, and soon a new one would be out there, watching over you. There was a muffled conversation, and the sound of someone walking away.
A few moments later the door cracked open, and the torch light poured into the room. Your eyes squinted at the sudden brightness, and as the person entered the room they shut the door.
You were about to give your guard a kindly lecture on waking you up when you noticed that it wasn't the guard who had walked in, but a hooded man. You opened your mouth to call for help, but before you could get a sound out he was at your bedside, his hand covering your mouth.
"Don't scream, my love, it's me." He whispered.
You blinked at the voice, your mind taking a second to process what was happening. Your eyes widened, and you reached for his hand. He took it away from your mouth and intertwined your fingers together, his other hand pulling down his hood.
"Daemon." You breathed, looking up at his face.
The torchlight casted a warm glow on his handsome features, highlighting his strong cheekbones and sharp jawline. His hair was longer than the last time you saw him, hanging past his shoulders, his eyes were dark and clever, looking you over with admiration.
You pulled him towards you, your lips crashing into his. He let out a sigh, a sound that sounded almost pained, and returned your kiss. Then you harshly pushed him away, hitting his chest.
"Where have you been?" You demanded.
"I had matters to attend to." He told you.
"Three months!" You cried. "Three months I waited for you, and you were doing what?"
He smiled and pulled off his cloak, his eyes raking over your form. He reached out to cup your cheek, his thumb gently stroking your skin.
You wanted to be angry with him, you really did, but the look he was giving you, like he was starved, melted away your resolve. You leaned into his touch and looked up at him through your lashes, a smile tugging at your lips.
"Asshole," You whispered.
"My love." He whispered back, leaning down and placing a kiss to your forehead.
You wrapped your arms around his neck and pulled him in for another heated kiss. You were angry, yes, but seeing him now made all of that fade away. Your ire could wait until the morning.
His lips were gentle and loving, and you were so happy that you had almost forgotten that he had been gone. He kneeled on the bed and pulled you close, his hands cupping your cheeks.
When he pulled away, you rested your forehead against his, smiling and breathing hard.
"I thought you left me," You admitted, your hands gripping his wrists, as though you could keep him there forever by holding on to him.
He hummed, his nose nuzzling against yours and you pressed yourself closer to him, trying to get as much contact as possible.
His large, warm hands moved down to the swell of your stomach. He placed his palms flat against the bump and leaned back, a small smile tugging at his lips.
"Did the maesters tell you?" You asked, placing your hands over his.
He nodded, his eyes lifting up to meet yours. "How are you feeling?" He asked, with such gentle kindness that it made your heart melt.
"Big." You answered, laughing slightly. "I can't wear any of my old clothes, and I have to have new ones made all the time. And the way the ladies look at me when I go out..."
He shook his head, a breathy laugh escaping him, his thumbs caressing your skin. It was true that you had changed since the wedding, your body swelling with his child. You were nervous about how he would react, but the softness in his eyes and the way he touched you told you otherwise.
"I wish I could have told you the news myself, it's a shame you had to hear it from some crusty old maester," you said.
"It is a wonderful thing to return home too," he smiled, leaning forward and pressing his lips against yours.
He kissed you deeply, his arms wrapping around your waist. You smiled into the kiss, your fingers weaving through his long, silver hair. You could feel his lips turn up against yours, and you both pulled away.
He looked at you for a moment, his eyes raking over your features, a smirk tugging at his lips. His hands trailed down your sides, sending a wave of heat through you.
"My prince," you said softly, your fingers brushing along his cheekbone. "We've already made a baby. You don't have to do this."
He laughed, and shook his head, a look in his eyes you couldn't decipher. "I forget just how innocent you are," he said, his hands trailing down to your thighs.
âWell, whose fault is that?â You teased, smiling up at your handsome husband.
You sucked in a breath as he leaned down, his lips trailing kisses along your neck, his teeth grazing over your skin.
"It's true, I've been away for too long, my lady wife has forgotten what it is I crave," he breathed against your skin, his lips finding yours once more.
Your hands slid down his shoulders and arms, feeling his muscles. He pulled back slightly and tugged off his shirt, letting it fall to the floor.
"You have gotten bigger as well," you said, running your hands across his chest, feeling the hard muscles.
He smirked, a cocky gleam in his eyes. "Oh?"
"It suits you," you said, a playful smile on your lips.
His hand came to rest on the side of your neck, his fingers caressing your jaw. His thumb brushed against your bottom lip and he leaned in, capturing your mouth with his.
"And you are more beautiful than the day we wed," he said, his voice husky.
"My prince flatters me." You breathed, a blush rising on your cheeks.
His eyes went to the ties on your nightdress, a row of pretty little bows that went down to the valley of your breasts. He tugged at one of the ribbons, the fabric becoming loose.
He pushed it aside and his hand moved up to caress your breast, his thumb rubbing your nipple, causing you to gasp.
"Still as sensitive." He said, a smirk on his lips.
He leaned down and took your other nipple into his mouth, swirling his tongue around it, before gently biting down. You tugged hard on his hair, your legs kicking and squirming as he continued to play with you.
"Daemon," you moaned.
He hummed, the vibration causing a wave of pleasure to wash over you. He let go of your nipple, and his mouth moved lower, placing hot kisses along your skin, his hand pushing up your night dress.
"Perhaps a bit more sensitive." He commented, his hand brushing along your thigh.
He hooked a finger into the waistband of your small clothes and pulled them off. You were now naked, your body on full display for him, and he leaned back and admired his work. His hand on the swell of your belly, his thumb tracing over a stretch mark.
"Beautiful." He said, a sincerity in his voice that made your heart skip a beat.
You looked away, suddenly shy. You had only spent one night with him, and now he was here again. His touch, his words, they all still had an affect on you, making your stomach flutter and heart race.
He leaned down, and pressed a kiss to your bump, his hand resting on the side of it, his lips trailing lower. You smiled softly, and ran your fingers through his hair, the silver strands smooth between your fingers.
His hand came to rest on your thighs, gently coaxing your legs open. You watched as he positioned himself between them, his head almost disappearing behind your bump.
His eyes flickered up to yours, and his smirk was all too knowing, causing you to blush and turn away. He leaned forward, his tongue darting out and licking up your slit.
You gasped, your grip on his hair tightening. He did it again, this time focusing his attention on that sensitive little spot he introduced to you on your wedding night. He placed a soft kiss on it, his tongue circling it.
"Dae-ah," you moaned, trying to muffle the sound by pressing a hand over your mouth.
You didn't know if it was the fact that you were pregnant, or maybe that you missed him more than anything, but everything felt different, his touch more intense.
His hands gripped the backs of your thighs, holding you down as his tongue licked and circled you. His mouth moved down and his tongue slid into you, making you arch and cry out. He lapped at your arousal, his tongue going in and out, the sounds he made, the hums and sighs, driving you wild.
He groaned, a sound that vibrated through your entire body, and his tongue went up, swirling around that little spot again, his mouth closing over it.
You moaned his name, your thighs squeezing him, your whole body trembling as your release washed over you.
He placed a few more kisses to the inside of your thighs before rising up, his hair messy and face glistening with you. He wiped his face with his arm and leaned down, his lips capturing yours.
You could taste yourself on him, and you kissed him hard, your hand tangling into his hair, the other reaching down to the ties of his trousers. He helped you undo them, and kicked off his pants.
His hard length sprung free, and you wrapped a hand around it, causing him to let out a shaky moan. He pressed his forehead against yours, his hand cupping your cheek, and his eyes locking onto yours.
You slowly started to stroke him, and he let out another moan, his eyes fluttering closed, his breath hot against your skin.
"My love," he groaned, his hips thrusting into your hand.
You loved the effect you had on him, the control you had. To have the prince of dragonstone, the most dangerous man in the realm, at the palm of your hand, made your heart flutter.
His hand found yours, and he guided it away from his length, a whine leaving your throat. He chuckled and gave you a quick kiss before positioning himself between your legs.
He slowly pushed himself in, causing you both to moan. It hurt a little, just like the first time, but his hands were on your thighs, his thumb caressing your skin, and he slowly pulled out and pushed back in, letting you adjust.
"My love, I'm not going to break," you said.
He smirked and gave a shallow thrust, a gasp leaving you.
"I can't be too careful with what is mine." He said, leaning down and giving you a heated kiss.
He pulled away and rested his forehead against yours, his hand sliding up the length of your leg, coming to rest on your bump, his other hand planted next to your head, holding himself up.
He started to move, his length slowly sliding in and out, the pace slow and gentle. You could feel every inch of him, rubbing against that perfect spot. A soft moan left you, and you reached out, your hands on his chest, feeling the hand planes of muscle underneath his skin.
His thumb caressed your belly, his eyes never leaving your face, studying every detail, memorizing each feature. You felt so exposed under his gaze and turned away, your cheeks flushed.
He smiled, a soft, loving smile, and kissed you.
"How I've missed you, my beautiful wife," he said, his voice thick with emotion.
You looked up at him, seeing nothing but love in his eyes. It was the way he had looked at you at your wedding, the two of you standing there in the sept, whispering promises to each other. The world had disappeared around you, and in that moment you were the only people that existed.
He kissed you again, and began moving a little faster, the sound of his hips meeting yours filling the room. He groaned, his hand still gently stroking your bump.
"I can't believe such a perfect creature could bear my child," he said, his eyes trailing down to where his hand rested.
"Our child," you corrected, giving him a teasing smile.
He hummed, leaning back and wrapping his arms around your waist and helping you into a sitting position. He pulled you onto his lap, and you moaned at the way he was buried deeper inside you.
His lips left open mouth kisses on your shoulders, and his hands rested on your hips, guiding you. You braced yourself on his shoulders, his hands back on your bump as you moved. You knew he liked the feel of it, and he couldn't get enough.
Your name left his lips as you bounced in his lap, his hands cupping your ass, squeezing you. You moaned, your hands sliding into his hair, tugging at the silver locks. You were growing louder, your body humming, that feeling building within you.
"Not too loud, my love," he whispered. "I do not wish for the guards to hear,"
A moan, that was halfway to a laugh escaped you, and he cut it off with a deep kiss. You buried your face in the crook of his neck, as you kept moving, the feeling of your release building.
"For your lovely sounds are only for me," he continued, his voice in your ear.
You let out another shaky moan, his hands squeezing you. He was moving his hips to meet yours, and you could feel him shaking beneath you. His hands gripped your hips tighter, and pulled you harder, his voice soft yet commanding as he talked you closer to your peak.
Your hands gripped his arms and back, and when he said your name, a deep, low groan that sounded almost pained, you toppled over the edge, falling in a pool of ecstasy. All the pent up emotions and frustration that you had been holding in were released, and you let go of a final moan that you muffle in the crook of his neck.
He followed soon after, capturing your lips in a heated kiss and letting out a deep, satisfied moan. You clung to him, afraid that he might disappear if you didn't. His arms were wrapped around your middle, cradling you close to him, his lips pressed to your temple.
The two of you breathed in each other's air, a simple shared breath, your foreheads pressed together, your eyes closed. You could feel his lips on your sweat slicked skin, his fingertips still caressing your bump.
When you both had returned to your senses, he gently laid you back on the bed. He leaned down, the tip of his nose nuzzling against yours, and peppered your face with little kisses. You smiled and let your eyes flutter open, finding him staring at you, a sweet, lovestruck look in his eye.
He grabbed the blanket, and covered your naked form with it, tucking it around you, almost protectively. He crawled under with you,his head resting against your chest, his hand still protectively cradling the swell of your stomach.
You wrapped an arm around his shoulders, and ran your fingers through his hair, smiling. He looked up at you, his eyes sleepy, and he pressed a kiss to your bump.
"I hope it's a boy," you said, continuing to stroke his hair. "With the most handsome features, and a true warrior, like his father."
"Mm," he hummed, his eyes closing, and his arms wrapping around your waist. "I hope it is a girl, a daughter that looks just like her mother."
He was silent for a moment, and you wondered if he had fallen asleep, when his eyes suddenly opened.
"Or perhaps both," he said, his voice serious, a glimmer of something in his eyes.
"Twins?" You laughed. "I don't think I could handle two little dragons running about."
He chuckled, his fingers drawing lazy circles on your skin. "I will be here to help you," he said, his eyes meeting yours. "I am not going anywhere."
"You better not," you warned, poking his chest. "You've kept me waiting long enough."
He laughed again and caught your wrist, bringing your finger to his lips and placing a gentle kiss there. He slid his arms back around you, and pulled you close, your foreheads touching, your noses brushing.
You were content, your heart filled with so much love for him, and as his breathing evened out and his eyelids drooped, you knew he felt the same. You drifted off to sleep, dreaming of what was to come. Of a big family, a happy life, and many more nights just like this one.Â

e-42!miles x fem!reader
summary after having an argument with miles, you get mad as to why he always brings up your plushies while you guys are arguing. so, you threw them all away.
request by @friedturtlewhispers ! i accidentally posted this without writing actual story, so sorry your request got deleted đ
a/n this is a continuation of the 42!miles headcanon from these headcanons! iâm a sucker for angst so ofc i has to write this đ€·ââïž
warnings angst to fluff, cursing
âMa, youâre the one who sleeps with stuffed animals at night.â
You two have been fighting over God knows what for at least 30 minutes, and whenever he brought up the fact that you sleep with stuffed animals at night pisses you off. You scoffed, stuck your middle finger up at him, and went to his doorway.
âFuck you, Miles.â That was all you said before you walked out of his bedroom, and out his apartment door.
New York at night was chilly, so as you left the building you silently cursed to yourself. You forgot your jacket again, as it was hot during the day but then it cooled down. Luckily, your apartment building was only a block away, so it wasnât that bad of a walk.
His words still rang through your head. That was his only comeback nowadays ever since he found out. You thought he hated it, for how much he teased you about sleeping with the stuffed animals. But secretly, though he would never admit it, he found it cute that you do. It made him happy seeing you happy, although you werenât feeling it right now.
You thought actually sleeping with them bothered him, so as your mind was overflowing with rage, you did the petty thing.
You threw them all away.
Well, not really. You just stuffed them all in a bag and put it in your closet. But, it felt like you did because your once overfilled bed was now empty, the only thing on it was your clothes, pillows, and obvious blankets.
Your phone was blowing from texts and calls from Miles. You looked over at it and rolled your eyes. You put your phone on do not disturb, charged it, and then got in bed. All you needed right now was some rest, so you closed your eyes and tried to fall asleep. Though, it was hard without at least one thing to hold.
Miles on the other hand, was freaking out. He was pacing around his room angrily, you guys never ended on bad terms. You would always make up, because he knew how important it was for you to have closure. He wanted to make this relationship work, and right now he felt like he was failing it.
âPick up the phone, Y/N,â he mumbled, silently cursing everytime it went straight to voicemail. He groaned and left his room, saying a quick goodbye to his mom before leaving the apartment.
He walked, practically ran to your apartment where he barged in because you forgot to lock the door. Your parents were out on a work trip right now, so he reminded himself to scold you later on this. But for now, his only priority was to set things right and make it up to you.
He slowly opened your bedroom door, from the light being off he figured you were asleep. That was all until you turned around to look at the light that was entering your room, and groaned when you saw Miles standing in your doorway. âFuck off.â
He scoffed and made his way towards you, âThatâs no way to talk to me, now is it?â He joked, though you werenât having it.
âWhat the hell are you doing here, Miles.â You turned away from him, so he couldnât see the anger that was still looming on your face.
âWhatchu think Iâm here for? Iâm here to make it up to you. Weâre not leaving on bad terms, and I swear by that.â
You didnât respond, and that left Miles quiet. He observed the position you were in, and noticed your bed looked different.
âMa, whereâs all your stuffed animals?â He asked, concern in his voice. He shuffled around your bed, looking over you and looking at the end of your bed.
âGone,â you mumbled. He paused in his tracks, looking over at you even though you couldnât see him. Your back was facing the wall, so he immediately turned you around to face him.
âFuck you mean gone?â
âI mean, gone, Miles. Like, theyâre not here.â He was shocked, you loved those things more than anything. He looked around your room, for any sign of them.
None.
âIâll be right back,â he mumbled before hurrying out of the room. You rolled your eyes and turned around in your bed again, feeling slightly bad that you lied to him.
However, Miles was going to the nearest store to get you something. He walked down the aisles of the store, searching for the perfect plushie. He grimaced at all of them, as they all looked unintentionally creepy. He decided on a pink teddy bear, as it looked the most tame and he knew how much you liked teddy bears. He went up to the register and paid for it, then rushed back to your apartment.
You were almost asleep when he barged in once again and sat on your bed. âTurn around.â When you didnât, he turned you around himself and what you saw in his hands shocked you.
You sat up to face him, you didnât expect him to buy you a teddy bear. You took it from his hands, admiring it slightly. âIâm sorry, Y/N. Yâknow, I actually find it cute how you sleep with these.â You looked up at him and smiled, then fell into his arms.
âItâs alright, I guess. Thanks for the bear,â he hummed in response, to which you continued, âthereâs a bag in my closet, do you think you can get it?â He pulled away slightly and raised an eyebrow at you, watching as you giggled against his chest.
He peeled away from you and walked to your closet, silently cursing when he saw the bag full of stuffed animals. âYouâre full of shit, yâknow that right?â
You laughed as he threw the bag at you, you throwing one of your pillows back at him in response. âYou loooove me though.â
He walked back to your bed and put the pillow you threw at him back on the bed, and laid down with you. âYou got one thing right,â he said as you adjusted in his arms.
âOh, and also, donât forget to lock your door. Canât let anyone taking mâ girl away.â
âGo to sleep, Miles.â

needy - jb blurb
quick sum: after a tiny argument takes place, your boyfriend panics at the idea of going to sleep when youâre in this state. not speaking or holding him like you do before bed. who could blame him? he was your needy and clingy boyfriend over all.
âgoodnightâŠâ you felt judeâs lips kiss your bare shoulder. you rolled your eyes knowing he couldnât see you as your back faced him. it was a silly argument about him spending to much time on his video games rather than help you around the house.
his socks were everywhere, training gear left by the door, empty water bottles laid around, and many of his dishes laid out. it or course ticked you off because you spend so much time for everything to look neat and clean around your house. yet jude was acting like a teenager and claimed he forgets to do so.
you wanted to throw a huge rock at his head labeled an idiot for him to understand. but jude was jude and he tried to brush it off which infuriated you more. how many times would you have to tell him tell the message spread across his head? when would be understand that doing a simple task isnât the end of the world?
you were being a tad dramatic, but in the end youâre just a girl. you had enough and lashed out, not wording even a single good night to him. if he wanted to act the way he did, then you could show the same. âare you still mad? youâre not gonna say goodnight?â asked jude who laid on his back, turning his head where you still faced your back.
jude would admit it and knew he was in the wrong here. and he apologized when he came to terms about it. you shouldâve not had to repeat yourself after the first time. jude was raised better than that, and what ticked him off was now you telling him what to do. in the end you were just asking for his help and he felt a dick about afterwards.
âi love you y/n,â jude blabbered not getting a single reaction out of you. not a small twitch, change of breathing, or word. jude tried to fall asleep but he couldnât. not when you werenât holding him, or wished him a goodnight, or when you were this angry. this was his punishment. jude turned to his side wrapping his arm around you, but was taken at back when you removed his hand almost immediately. like a reflex.
ây/n-â
âitâs hot. donât touch me.â
lies. it was not hot. it was so damn cold with the damn air fan on. he knew that by the small goosebumps that spread across your arms and the thick coated blanket on top you. âi want to hold you though,â jude frowned. âand i said iâm hot. leave me alone,â you pushed yourself way closer to the edge of the bed, trying to create a distance with you clingy boyfriend.
jude was making progress, you finally had spoken. but he was so far from where he needed to be. âbaby⊠youâre not even gonna hold my pinky? like you do when i piss you off? or say goodnight?â jude asked stunned, well pretended to be stunned but it wasnât working. you knew the tricks he had up his sleeve, and the regret he was feeling lost argument.
no word. no movement. no change.
ây/n.â
âwhat jude? what? iâm trying to sleep,â you whispered loudly, turning your head to look at him. âyouâre not even going to say i love you? what if i die in my sleep?â jude said dramatically which made you flare your nostrils annoyed, taking a breather. âoh youâre being dramatic. what if i die in my sleep-â you turn your back to itâs original spot just to be cut off by jude.
âdonât say that! you canât. i wonât allow it. you and me are endgame darling,â jude stressed, hating thinking about the idea of you not being here with him, but more so now when you were mad at him. âi canât leave you alone till i hear you say good night and an i love you.â
âwell then stay up⊠if you mutter another word iâm going downstairs,â you warn, sighing deeply and feeling your eye lids heavy. jude was hesitant, the unsure feeling returning in his chest as he saw your quiet body again. âcan you please just hold me hand? i canât sleep if iâm not touching you.â
âno.â
ây/n now youâre just being unfair,â jude said frustrated, âwatch me,â you said bunching up your pillow and blanket and walking to the door, though jude was quick to get up and block the door. âiâm sorry! iâm sorry! i promise i wonât talk again! just get back in bed i donât want you to sleep downstairs,â jude said fast, dragging you back to bed, being careful to not let you fall.
you wanted to laugh, but part of you wanted to drag this out long as possible. it was hilarious to see your clingy and needy boyfriend upset because you were mad. jude kept his promise, laying back down and faced away from you, feeling defeated and more disappointed in himself.
you had stayed up a little longer, knowing you were the same and could only sleep if he was holding you or vice versa. jude had fallen asleep and you knew that when he relaxed his shoulders. you quietly stirred over to where his back face you, careful to not wake him, or the plan would go to waste.
no matter what had happened, what was said and done, you werenât going to sleep without wishing him a proper goodnight. or it be your turn to feel that pang of guilt in your chest at breaking a promise you swore together. you wrapped your around around his bare torso, peppering kisses onto his back to wake him up gently. âjude?â
ây/n? you okay whatâs wrong?â
jude had turned immediately seeing your pouty face. âiâm not mad anymore. not unless you do that again then iâll have your head and tell your mother,â jude stifled out a laugh, his chest warming in happiness when he saw you smiling. he hated when things got this extreme and he almost cried when you didnât utter his favorite three words that came out your mouth.
âiâm sorryâŠâ
âitâs okay⊠weâll itâs not but you get the idea of it now right?â jude nodded knowing to what you referred to. you pushed yourself up and give him a proper good night kiss, jude humming in pure delight, the unnecessary weight leaving his shoulders as he shivered at your taste. âi canât go to sleep without saying goodnight,â you said out of breath against his lips.
âand?â
âand what else?â you gave him a confused look, but you were teasing him knowing he wanted to hear the three words that finalized the wish goodnight.
âsay it or iâll be mad at you.â
âi love you jude,â you say shyly, giggling into neck and leaving a kiss there. âthere she is⊠my pretty girl,â jude laughed with you kissing your head and pulling you to his chest, where he would finally be at ease after the stressful hour you put him through. it was no myth, and right now it felt right. exactly what you both needed.
âhold my pinky too. me holding you isnât enough for meâŠâ

â how to get a girlâs attention
luke castellan x fem!daughter of demeter!reader
warnings: near-drowning experienceâŠ
summary: as the daughter of demeter, youâre the first person that everyone turns to when injuries need to be tended too, questions need to be asked, and any type of advice is required, however whatâs going to happen when youâre the one in need?
a/n: this oneâs quite lengthy guys! i really just got derailed like ten times and love adding details and the ending is kind of basic but whatever; donât mind me making up random camper names btw lol đŒđŒ
waking up to the sound of constant bickering was just a normal tuesday morning as your younger half-siblings were already at each otherâs throats about some stupid thing. yesterday it was borrowing boots and the day before it was who had to take the trash out.
you groaned, wishing that you could still sleep in peace and quiet but your cabin clearly suggested otherwise. so you gradually got up and put on your little slippers, approaching the main fighters who continued to argue with each other.
âhey hey hey, whatâs going on now.â you had to physically get between the two children, separating them with your arms.
âhe slipped paint all over my skirt and now itâs ruined!â the young girl cried, holding up her stained skirt to prove it. you took the clothing in your hands and knelt down to face her.
âwhy donât i go to the river later today and try to get the stain out myself. it seems washable to me, what do you think?â
with a slight frown, she nodded her head to comply. you were relieved to say the least before turning to the boy, âhow about you apologize and come with me to the river after breakfast?â
the boy stayed silent with his arms crossed, trying to avoid your insisting stare. but intimidated enough, he looked to the floor and whispered a small âfine, iâm sorryâ with a glare.
you smiled as the situation was deescalated and told the rest of the kids surrounding the pair to hurry and make their beds in order to head to breakfast.
holding hands with the now puffy-faced girl, you tried to tell her about all the fun activities she could do today to forget about the unfortunate morning incident.
before reaching mess hall, the child already had a a bright smile just thinking about the bracelet making and embroidery you promised for the later evening. pleased with your peace-making skills, you sat with the rest of your campers and half-siblings that you were in charge of.
as the eldest sibling and one of the camp counselors, you took on the responsibility of looking after the young ones and caring for almost everyone at camp.
thus, when most of the camp half-blood children had troubles or dilemmas of any sort, they would disregard their own counselors and go straight to you. your kindhearted, yet sociable personality rooted from your mother: demeter.
you were often found laying around in the fruit fields or by the river listening to the water flow through the ground and hit the rocks. like your mother, nature was where you felt at peace, especially with the lack of quiet in your own cabin.
but you still loved your fellow campers and half-siblings, except for one boy who would not leave you alone.
luke castellan.
he liked to push your buttons and see how far he could take you until youâd explode. of course, you always kept your calm until either you just left the conversation or it would be interrupted by a camper in need who was like a knight in shining armor.
it wasnât that you didnât like the guy. you liked everyone at camp, including mr. d for gods sake! but something about luke was different. you occasionally saw him with his campers or his friends, he would joke around but never act like he does with you.
when you least expect it, he sneaks up behind you and gets close enough to whisper something in your ear. it could be just a random comment or sentence started but in an alluring voice as if you were friends or even more.
he knows what heâs doing. the moment he finishes, you flinch and get flustered, cheeks heating up and instantly standing up to avoid making eye contact. as you walk away, luke only watches and smiles to himself.
he knows how much power he holds over you, as with just a few words he can make you nervous.
âokay so once everyoneâs done, weâll first go to the archery range and youâll stay there with counselor clarisse while damien and i go to the river to get that nasty stain out.â you explained and first looked at the boy who begrudgingly agreed to helping you earlier and then winked at the little girl you promised to help.
âcounselor clarisseâŠ!â one of the boys exclaimed.
âoh no sheâs the mean one!â âyeah, sheâs a bully!â your campers all started to agree and mutter remarks about their fear in staying with clarisse.
you couldnât help but chuckle at their scared little faces, âclarisse? oh gods no! clarisse is not scary, she loves you guys and sheâll take good care of you.â
the children stared at you in disbelief while chowing down their eggs and bacon. âwhy canât we just come with you to the river?!â one of the girls begged and began to pout alongside the other ten kids beside her.
you sighed and pursed your lips into a thin line, trying to come up with a compromise but you couldnât.
âplease itâs only for a couple of hours and then iâll be back for the rock wall and some capture the flag!â you persuaded, trying to lighten up the mood.
but the kids still looked dissatisfied, now poking their breakfast around with their utensils in objection.
âwellââ before you could plead another case why clarisse is a perfectly reasonable and responsible counselor and guardian, you were cut off by the one and only.
âaw donât worry guys, you should listen to your counselor. plus iâll be there too so if counselor clarisse gets even just a little too scary, you can come and hang with awesome counselor luke!â a voice announced from behind you.
you nearly choked on your food, startled in the surprise voice cutting you off. but the campers were overjoyed to see their second favorite counselor appear. there were an overwhelming amount of comments from the once so silent children, mostly regarding âluke!â and âyay!â
you whipped your head around to face the boy, standing right behind you with nothing but a smug grin on his face. then he leaned in just as he always does and whispered a quick, âyouâre welcomeâ and turned to leave just as fast as he came.
âcan we please hang out with counselor luke instead of clarisse?!â all the campers plead with their hands put together and lower lip puckered. left with no other choice by that damn castellan again, you inhaled deeply and slightly nodded which was shortly followed by an array of cheers and excitement.
after dropping off all of the campers in the hands of luke, you put a hand on damienâs back and led him to the river. but before leaving, you had to make sure luke would actually clock in as a responsible counselor.
âso i can count on you to keep them safe for the next couple of hours?â
âwow you sound like you doubt me!â luke said and took a step back with his hands up in fake surrender.
âenough with the games, castellan. are you going to make sure they donât kill each other and stay unharmed until i return?â you asked again, ignoring his previous comment.
luke tried to hold back his smile after you called him by his last name. most of the time, his sparring partners or other counselors would use his last name rather his first. however, when the way you let the ânâ slightly my drag after saying it sent chills throughout his entire body.
to hide his delight, he lightly scoffed and crossed his arms at your hesitation. âi assure you that i will protect them with my life. i mean i am the best swordsman at camp,â he added as the corners of his lips just couldnât help themselves to lift a little.
you rolled your eyes at his self-confidence and how he kept complimenting himself. luke only did it to impress you though, something that hasnât been very successful.
âokay well alissa has a nut allergy, georgie has a bee allergy, and please keep thomas and will away from the poison ivy. i do not want to spend another summer knee deep in tomato juice.â
luke could only watch and admire as you kept expressing your deep concern for all the kids. he loved how much you cared. but a few more seconds and you would be driving yourself crazy over all the possibilities of something going wrong.
thatâs when luke stepped in and softly grabbed your right arm.
âhey, itâs fine. go do whatever you have to do and iâll come running down to the river if anything goes wrong but i doubt it, iâm pretty responsible yâknow.â he reassured and stared straight into your eyes, indicating his sincerity. his smile wasnât conceited or to drive his ego but rather held a tender emotion.
you looked up into his hazel eyes and suddenly the worries stopped and your nerves were calmed, other than the ones beginning to stir in your stomach. but this was far from the regard about the kids.
this feeling was something else. something new.
âare we going to go already?â the young boy you almost forgot about, whined and rugged on your orange camp t-shirt.
snapping out of your trance and back to reality you answered, âo-oh yeah, i think counselor lukeâs got it from here.â
with that you turned away from luke and immediately headed for the river alongside damien but the paint-stained skirt was farthest from your mind now. you tried to shake the new feelings and thoughts out of your body and replace them with your past ones of the kids.
until, âis that guy your boyfriend?â
you quickly looked down to the boy asking the question, with such seriousness in his eyes.
âcounselor luke? gods no! i wouldnât even call him a friend!â you answered swiftly, picking up your pace and hurrying damien in front of you.
âgeezâŠi was just asking!â
as soon as you two got to the river, settling on a few rocks by the edge, you started rubbing the blue-stained skirt with the clear water. damien sat next to you, fiddling his thumbs and staring at the waterâs constant movement.
âso are you going to tell me why you did this or not?â you began, keeping your eyes on the skirt.
âi just wanted to.â
âdamien.â you urged and this time, you stared directly at him with your eyebrows raised.
he sighed in defeat and gave up on lying to you.
âokayâŠwell i just didnât know how else to get claraâs attention,â the boy admitted and refused to look at you.
his response warned your heart and prompted your to smile to yourself.
âso you did this, just to get claraâs attention?â
you held up the now drenched skirt and demanded damien to look at you. for a moment, he did and nodded quickly before instantly going back to staring at the rock he was sitting on.
you stifled your laughter at how adorable the young boy you were with was being.
âdamienâŠthere are a lot of different and more efficient ways to get claraâs attention. may a suggest one that doesnât destroy her belongings and ends up with her being angry?â you insisted and squeezed the excess water out of the skirt.
he looked up and nodded again but this time he continued.
âwhat should i do?â
âwhy donât you make her a bracelet when we go back and sincerely apologize.â you suggested while laying out the wet skirt on the rock to dry.
he smiled at your suggestion as you went to sit closer by him. before speaking again, he pulled out a small daisy from his pant pocket and presented it to you.
your eyes focused on the blooming flower that lost a few of its petals due to being stuck in the boyâs pocket for a while now. but the remaining petals still standing were enough to maintain the flowerâs beauty.
âwhen did you become such a gentlemen?â you nudged his shoulder and took the flower from his hands.
âoh, iâve been giving him some lessons.â
alarmed, you turned to see the familiar face that had been surprising you all day.
âwhat are you doing here?! how about the kidsâwhoâs watching them?!â you immediately stood up and marched towards the too calm figure standing amongst the trees. but he caught you with both arms, preventing you with ease.
âwoah woah, take a breather, theyâre with clarisse.â he said and stopped you before you ran back to the mess hall.
reading your expression, luke could tell you were not convinced nor pleased so he had to fix his answer.
ââand annabeth and chris.â
with that you stopped fighting against his grasp and stepped back, finally exhaling.
âyou havenât answered my first question.â
âoh! i just uh wanted to um come and tell you that theyâre asking for damien back at camp. they were practically begging me to come over here and get him!â
you narrowed your eyes after he finished, easily indicating the lie.
âokayâŠyou can go damien but remember what i said,â you smiled and patted his shoulder before sending him off back to camp.
the young boy ran off without a care and ready to make that bracelet with a formal apology. luke stood there, quite surprised that his lie that chris helped him think of in fact worked.
âsoooo do you need help with whatever that is?â luke pointed at the skirt laid out on the rock.
âno.â you shortly responded and walked back to your rock but luke followed like a lost puppy.
âare you sure? i mean as head counselor for cabin 11, i can cook up a mean batch of laundry,â he insisted and trailed behind you.
unbeknownst to him, you rolled your eyes and cringed at his wording.
âyour words donât even make sense.â
caught in a lie, luke decided actions spoke louder than words and walked past you to the skirt. you furrowed your eyebrows in confusion as he picked it up and crouched down near the water before dunking it back into the water.
shocked and a little annoyed, you hurriedly ran to him.
âwhat the hell are you doing?! i just washed that! iâm waiting for it to dry dumbass!â
âoh she curses!â he exclaimed, finally getting a real response from you.
you reached for it until luke raised it a little higher, just out of your reach. using his height as an advantage, he held out the clothing as far as he could and to the river.
fed up and exhausted, you went on your tippy-toes and lunged for the skirt. swiftly, luke pulled it close to his body just as you reached leading you to accidentally lean too far.
with a splash, you fell straight into the freezing cold water, unknown to how deep the river was. lukeâs eyes widened, he thought you falling in would be funny but once you hadnât resurfaced within a few seconds he became worried.
without a second thought, he dropped the skirt, pulled off his camp shirt, and dove into the biting waves. as soon as he saw your bright orange t-shirt in contrast to the clear water, he put his arm around your waist and swim towards the surface.
pulling you out to the rocks and laying your body on the ground, he waited for you to gain consciousness. luckily, you started to gasp for air and spit out gulps of water as you sat up.
luke sighed in relief at once. you wiped your face of water and blinked repeatedly until your sight returned to normal. then your eyes were fixated on something else, rather someone. his bare chest stood directly in front of your face, it wasnât like you were trying to stare!
âiâm sorry, y/n. Iâm so sorry, i didnât mean to do that and iâm really sorry.â luke recited.
âi-itâs okay.â you stuttered, the cold water chilling your body.
âhere take off the wet one and take mine.â
luke grabbed his discarded camp shirt and handed it to you. if you werenât on the verge of frostbite you wouldâve refused, but without another word you agreed and luke turned to face the trees as you pulled the wet shirt over your head and put on lukeâs.
âthanks. for saving me and the shirt.â
luke turned back to face you and smiled, âi mean i was the one to make you fall into the water in the first place, itâs the least i can do.â
âarenât you cold?â you signaled to his bare chest.
âno, iâm okay donât worry. but your jeans are still wet so letâs head back to camp.â he reassured and helped you get up.
you nodded and let him take the lead. with your wet shirt and skirt in one hand and the other grabbing onto lukeâs arm, you two finally made it back to camp. before dropping you off at your cabin, you had to ask.
âwhy did you come to the river anyway?â
luke awkwardly put his hand on the back of his neck and looked away.
âoh. i just uh wanted to spend time with you.â he admitted, ultimately facing you.
you stopped attending to your dripping pants and looked up at him. he had a genuine smile, now with both hands shoved into his pockets.
how was it that you had never noticed the golden flecks in his deep brown eyes? or the way the orange hues of the sunset highlighted the amber shade his eyes would turn?
âyâknow, there are a lot of other ways to get my attention in the first place, that doesnât involve us falling into freezing cold water.â
luke laughed at your comment which eased the awkward air.
âi had this almost exact same conversation with a little boy of about seven years, and gave him some valuable advice.â
âwhat was the advice..?â he carefully asked.
âto make her a bracelet and apologize, one ofâŠyouâve already done profusely.â you raised your eyebrow to imply his previous attempt in apologizing nonstop.
âah, a bracelet you say, okay got it,â luke said and nodded his head.
with that, he bid you a good day and you asked to meet him later at the campfire to return his shirt.
âalright you two sit there, i donât want to see anymore fighting over the dinosaurs, you can sit here with him, and you three over thereââ guiding the campers for the campfire that was just about to begin, you made your way to an empty bench.
smiling to yourself, you watched as your campers finally calmed down and enjoyed the music, giving up on fighting and arguing with one another. someone jumped over the bench and leaned back to sit right next to you, and you had a feeling who it may be.
âluke?â
âyes maâam.â he replied with a tilt towards you and two fingers from his head.
the campfire lit up his face and highlighted his sharp features that you had somehow missed until this moment. his charming smile urging his dimples alongside his dark curls freshly washed with a new scented shampoo was enough to make you realize you were hooked. damn.
âoh i have a little something for you, give me your arm and close your eyes,â he spoke up and put his hand in his pocket.
raised eyebrow, you reluctantly closed your eyes and gave him your right arm. suddenly in fear of some bug or scary animal on your hand, you slowly retracted it back to yourself until he gently got a hold of it.
he pulled your arm towards him slightly and slipped something on around your wrist. waiting for his approval, you sat questioning what the mystery item could be.
âokay, open.â luke did a little âta-daâ motion once you flickered your eyes open, adjusting to the dark yet orangish lit surrounding.
you looked down at the intricate, handsome bracelet that appeared on your wrist. it was similar to the camp necklaces but the beads were translucent with flowers imbedded into them. except for one bead that was painted a heavenly green, your favorite color.
astonished and at a loss for words, you observed the bracelet, moving around the small beads on the string.
âiâm sorry.â
snapping out of your trance, you instantly stared up at luke after his words in confusion.
âwhat?â
âyou said earlier, âthere are a lot of other ways to spend time with you that donât involve us falling into freezing cold water, for starters make a bracelet and apologize.ââ he repeated your words from back by your cabin. he remembered.
âso you made me a bracelet and apologize just like i said?â double-checking, you glanced once at the bracelet and back to the dashing boy who looked as if he had stars in his eyes, waiting for your reaction.
ânot only for you, i also helped damien make one for that girl heâs got a crush on,â he continued and looked over to the little boy doing the exact same hold-out-your-arm-and-close-your-eyes trick on the girl sobbing about her stained skirt earlier.
she opened her eyes to a freshly washed skirt and matching bracelet, along with a smiling boy who was apologizing and waiting for her reaction. she leapt into his arms with a bunch of âthank yous.â the boy then briefly peered at luke who proceeded to wink and give an approving nod.
happily surprised, you sat gaping at the boy you thought was so infuriating just a couple of hours before. luke knew exactly what he was doing. he knew how much you cared for the campers and your half-siblings, how you would always chose their safety and happiness at the expense of your very own.
it was one of the traits he admired the most about you. even when in a bad mood or not feeling your best, you would put on a brave face and make sure to put their needs in front of you own.
he witnessed it first-hand last week when your campers wanted to go rock climbing but there were dozens of poison ivy already there. thus, to not disappoint the kids, you stayed up all night removing the dangerous plant and relocating them to another area deep in the forest for them to grow.
even with your plant manipulation abilities, with the large amount of the poisonous plant, it took you quite a while. afterwards, you went as far to replace them with lovely daisies you summoned from the gardens in front of your cabin.
during the move from the rock climbing course to the forest, luke had spotted you while some late-night sword practicing because he couldnât sleep due to apollo cabin next door.
he debated approaching you and settled on only admiring you from afar after you almost finished anyway. he didnât want to disturb you or aggravate you further than you already were. but leaving you here in the forest during midnight would be wrong.
what if a monster were to come? how were you to defend yourself if you were distracted! therefore, it was just common sense that luke had to keep watch, i mean he even had his sword with him after all.
but once the sun peeped from the tall mountains, he came to a realization that he had just sat and watched you for more than a couple hours. so in order to not get caught, he ran off back to his cabin before anyone would wake up.
only a little after luke headed to bed, morning arrived and you were the first one to break the happy news to your campers that today would be the day for rock climbing. greatly proud and feeling accomplished, you even invited other cabins to join and have a spin at it. including lukeâs.
now he was the one to show you how much he cared for the campers as well, focusing on a feature you had great respects for. your shocked expression softened and now leapt into his arms.
âthank you, castellan. really.â
blood rushed to his cheeks and he tried to hide his excitement, but you felt his genuine smile on your shoulder. before pulling away, he stopped by your ear and whispered.
âdo i have permission to kiss you, counselor?â
you couldâve giggled at his words and how close his lips were to your ear. without wasting another breath, you pulled his face closer to you and put your lips on his.
feeling the warmth of his breath, you could taste the sweet taste of strawberries he mustâve eaten earlier. only centimeters away, your bodies were attracted to each other almost pressing. the kiss wasnât long but not short either, somewhat leaving a lasting impression on the other.
yet again you felt a small grin of his lips during the kiss, making you pull away for air. but your eyes were still glued to his, moments away from repeating the act but you both realized where you were and how irresponsible it would look as counselors. so instead he grabbed your hand, now giving you the absolute cutest puppy dog eyes before asking.
âdo i have your attention now?â

authorâs note: hiiii me again after many moons of zero contact with this lovely website. sorry for taking so long, hopefully iâll stay a while this time lol.
Itâd been nearly four weeks of back-to-back hunts. This was the seventh motel you and the two Winchesters had been at this month and you were almost ready to call it a night.Â
âIâm gonna wash this wraith stench off of me,â you told Dean. You then added quietly so Johnâwho was sitting at the table and cleaning his gunsâwouldnât hear; âWould you like to join me, handsome?â
âMore than anything,â he whispered before he bent down and kissed you. John coughed loudly, and you werenât sure if it was just a perfectly timed accident or a purposeful guilt trip. It was most likely the latter. âBut⊠I think itâs better if I donât, sweetheart.â
You smiled sadly with a small nod; âNext time, then,â you assured him. You looked up into his eyes and noticed the tiredness laced with the usual burden he carried. He blinked unusually slowly as if he was trying his damndest to stay awake, and you furrowed your brows. âHow about you head to bed, you can shower after you get some sleep.â
âItâs alright, Iâm not that tired,â he said.
âHey, are you feeling okay?â you asked him, barely above a whisper so that John wouldnât hear.
John didnât like you. He didnât really trust your intentions with his son, and he thought you were just a distraction that would end up getting Dean killed if he wasnât careful. He didnât like how easily Dean would get âall gigglyâ when he was near you, and he didnât like that his son kept his guard down when he was with you.
He didnât like the matching rings you wore, or that you too often referred to the other as husband or wife when a stranger would ask. You werenât married, you were his fucking girlfriend and John fully believed you wouldnât still be together by the time Sam finished his first four years at Stanford.Â
âIâm fine,â he replied, matching your quiet tone. âIâll shower right after you so donât use up all the hot water, okay?â There was a teasing smirk on his face which made your worries subside temporarily.
âI promise to leave you some,â you said before you kissed him once more.
**
âDean are you okay?â you asked, seeing the far-off look in his eyes when you left the bathroom.
âYeah, I uhâŠâ He rubbed his eyes as he tried to again focus on your face. He looked over at his dad, who raised a brow at his eldest son. âIâm fine, sweetheart.â
You followed his line of sight and pursed your lips when you saw John.
âDean says heâs fine, drop it Y/n,â he told you.
Against your better judgment, you decided not to ask Dean again. With your hair still wet from the shower, you took the brush from your bag and started fixing it.Â
âArenât you gonna shower, babe?â you asked Dean, who hadnât moved an inch.
âUh, yeah,â he said. He started to kick off his shoes when he tripped and fell straight to the floor, his cheek now pressed against the carpet.
âDean!?â you exclaimed and hurried over to him. You fell to your knees and took him into your arms, shaking him gently in hopes heâd just wake up. âDean? Dean, honey, please? J-John heâs not waking up!â You pressed your lips to his temple; âCâmon, Dean!â
John had left his spot on the couch and was now hovering over you, as you looked up at him desperately.
âIs he breathing?â
âYeah,â you replied, tears slipping down your cheeks. John helped you lay Dean down so he could check his breathing.
âHe seems fine,â John deduced. âIs there a wound we missed or something?â
âW-We need to call an ambulance,â you said and rushed to grab your phone off the nightstand.
âY/n, Dean wouldnât want us to call the cops,â John replied. He seemed a little too calm for your liking, so you werenât about to let him call the shots regarding Deanâs wellbeing.
âI donât care, weâre getting him to the fucking hospital,â you said as you dialed and made your way back to Dean. âNow hide your goddamn guns before the paramedics get hereâI need an ambulance at the Rosebud Motel room 302, my husband just collapsed unexpectedly.â You ignored the look John gave you when you called Dean that. The operator asked questions and you answered each one; âYes, heâs breathing⊠No, no bleeding⊠Heâs twenty-five⊠Uhm, Iâm not sureâŠâ You pulled the phone from your ear; âHas he had anything to drink yet tonight?â
John was putting away the guns and paused to think before he shrugged; âI dunno, I wasnât watching.âÂ
Your eyes widened and your teeth clenched, the fucking audacity. Looking at the table you saw three opened beers so you made an educated guess when you answered the 9-1-1 operator.
âHe mightâve had a beer or two, but heâs not a lightweight, heâd never pass out after two beers⊠Yes, his dad is in the room with me⊠Yes, I can stay on the line.â You took in a shaky breath as you brought his hand to your lips and kissed his knuckles.Â
âJust stay calm, maâam, help is on the way.â
âIâm trying,â you replied, tears streaming down your cheeks as you kept his hand pressed to your lips. âTh-This isnât like him, heâsâheâs always okay.â
**
You bounced your leg anxiously as you sat next to John in the waiting room. As you absentmindedly played with the ring on your right ring finger, you couldnât help but think of the time when Dean had told you how much you truly meant to him almost three years ago.
* flashback *
âI got you a present.â His smile was adorable as he sat next to you on the couch. He saw your face light up and felt the need to downplay the gift; âItâs nothing much, donât get too excited.â
âDean, you could give me a dirty sock and Iâd love it,â you teased, placing a quick kiss on his pink lips.
âWell⊠this is like one teer above âdirty sockâ, I think.â He smirked and handed you the small velvet box.Â
You opened it and your jaw fell open; âOh my god, Dean!â
âI know how much you like mine,â he said quietly.
âI do like yous,â you took his right hand in yours and kissed the ring on his finger, âI love yours, Dean.â
âWell, this one is exactly like mine.â He smiled. âExcept itâs in your size, obviously, so we can⊠you know⊠match.â You took the ring out of the box and admired it for a moment. You were about to put it on but he stopped you; âMay I do the honors, sweetheart?â he asked. You couldnât help the giggle that escaped your lips as you nodded and he took it from you. He slipped the ring onto your right ring finger before he kissed your hand.Â
âI mean this in the most genuine way possible; this is by far the best gift anyone has ever gotten me, Dean! Ever!â
A sheepish blush was forming on his cheeks as he leaned over and kissed your lips; âI love you so much.â He pulled away so he could look at you; âAnd, I want you to know this isnât a regular gift.â
âYeah?â you asked, your smile growing.Â
âYeah,â he replied and kissed you again. When he pulled away again he chickened out a little and didnât say what he was going to. âYouâre twenty-one, which means you can now legally drink in all fifty states.â He stood up, pulling on your hand gently so you would follow him to the kitchen. He took two beers out of the fridge and put them on the table. He used the ring on his finger to easily open one then handed the other to you. âWhy donât you give it a try.â
It took you a few tries but you managed to open the beer using the ring he just gave you; âOkay, now thatâs awesome!â
âHappy birthday, sweetheart!â Dean said and you clinked your beers together before you both started drinking them. As he brought the bottle down from his lips, he watched as you kept drinking and smiled to himself. He suddenly felt the courage he felt when he bought the ring and decided to tell you his thoughts; âYou know youâre the only girl for me, right?â You nodded with a smile. âI donât just mean âfor nowâ I mean like forever. Thatâs the real meaning behind the ring, I love you and I want to be with you for the rest of our lives.â
You couldnât help the happy tears beginning to sting your eyes as you looked up at him; âForever?â
âForever.â
* end of flashback *
You were shaken back to cruel reality by the sound of Johnâs voice beside you; âWhatâs taking them so long? Weâve gotta get back on the fuckinâ road.â
âAre you fucking serious right now?â you scoffed and looked at him. âDean might be in serious trouble, and youâre thinking about the next hunt!?â
âDeanâs gonna be fine.â He rolled his eyes.
âWe donât know that,â you replied. You again started fiddling with the ring Dean had given to you.
âYou know that ring doesnât make you two husband and wife,â John commented.Â
You stood up abruptly, not wanting to say what was running through your head; Yeah, and Dean being so fucking perfect doesnât make you a good father.
âDean Smithâs next of kin?â the doctor asked.Â
âIâm his wife, this is his dad,â you said. âH-How is he?â
âHeâll be fine,â she replied. âHe has a very minor concussion from when his head hit the floor, but he just needs some rest.â
âWhat happened?â John asked.Â
âHe fainted from over-exhaustion, heâs gonna be okay.â
âOver-exhaustion?â You furrowed your brows, placing a hand over your chest. âB-But heâs been eating fine? A-And sleeping as much as me, I think?â
âActually,â John interrupted, âheâs been helping me with research at night, he doesnât sleep as much as you.âÂ
Never in your life had you wanted to knee John Winchester in the balls as badly as you wanted to at that moment.
âHow many hours a night are you sleeping, hun?â the doctor asked you.
âLike three to five⊠every other night,â you admitted. âAnd thatâs always been enough! If it wasnât, Dean couldâve just taken a nap he didnât have toâfuck.â
âCan we see him?â John asked.
âHeâs still asleep but yes, you can go and see him,â she replied.
On the way to Deanâs room, you kept wondering how this all happenedâhow did Dean get so fucking tied he collapsed!? If he was staying up at night, why didnât he just sleep in the car? You wouldâve happily driven Baby, and itâs not like you hadnât done that beforeâDeanâs love language was sharing that fucking car.
âThis hasnât ever happened before, right?â you asked John.Â
âNever,â he replied. âGuess Deanâs just not as strong as he used to be.â
âExcuse me?â you seethed and stopped in your tracks, pulling John to a halt as well. âDean is a fucking hero but he is not a machine, heâs a fucking human being whoâs been treated like a soldier since he was six-fucking-years-old!â
âIf you wanna say something, fucking say it!â John exclaimed.Â
âOh, I am saying it! How fucking dare you work him so hard that he lands in the fucking emergency room!â
âWe all know in this line of work, we have to do what we have to do!â
You slapped him hard across the face and your eyes widened when you realized what you did.Â
âDean is your son,â you said, quickly changing your facial expression back into one of pure rage. âHe is your fucking child and youâve been treating him like shit for far too long. He deserves better, he doesnât deserve to be so fucking exhausted that he collapses.â
You walked away and into Deanâs room. Seeing him lying in the hospital bed made your heart break as tears welled in your eyes.Â
âOh god,â you mumbled. âDean.â You quickly pulled up a chair so you could sit next to his bed and patiently wait for him to wake up. John did the same, though he seemed annoyed by the fact Dean was still asleep.Â
You werenât sure how long had passed before John got fed up; âCan you press the button for the nurse so we can ask when heâs supposed to wake up?â
âI think we should just let him sleep, donât you?â you whispered, not knowing if Dean had been sedated or if he was just resting like normal.
âI didnât ask for your opinion, I told you to call the damn nurse,â he said, raising his voice which caused Dean to stir awake.
âHey sweetheart,â Dean said groggily, his eyes half-hooded as he brought your hand to his lips and placed a kiss on your knuckles. He then dropped your hand and rubbed his eyes to wake himself up. âThis isnât the motel,â he realized. He noticed John sitting at the other side of the bed and he sat up a little, trying to somewhat compose himself. âWh-What happened?â
âIâll fill you in,â John said. âY/n, why donât you go grab us some coffee so I can talk with my son?â
All your instincts told you not to leave the two Winchesters alone but what choice did you have? You didnât want to start another fight with John, you were tired too, and you didnât want Dean worrying.
âYeah, sure,â you said. You took the time to bend down and place a loving kiss on Deanâs forehead, causing him to smile. âNo coffee for you though, you need more sleep,â you told him before you left the room.Â
About ten minutes later you walked back in and the sight practically made your eyes bulge out of your skull as your jaw flew open.Â
âWhat the hell do you think youâre doing?â you asked and placed the two cups to the side.Â
âDad said thereâs a hunt,â Dean said matter-of-factly. âI can sleep in the car or something, letâs go.â He started to stand up so you pushed him back down.Â
âHow fucking dare you!â you exclaimed at John, who stood on the other side of the bed. âHow dare you tell him to suit up right now! He is staying here in this hospital, and he is getting some goddamn sleep!â
âThat is not your decision,â John replied. âIf Dean says heâs fine, then heâs fine.â
âYou realize those are the exact words you said to me before your son collapsed, right?â you scoffed. âDean lay back down now,â you told him as you began taking his boots off. âYou are staying here for the night, you understand me?â
âDonât you boss him around!â John exclaimed. âDean and I are leaving here now.â
âYou can leave if you want to, but Dean is staying put!â you replied, matching his tone.Â
âNo, he is not!â John yelled.Â
Youâd never fought with John like this, usually yelling and getting yelled at made your eyes tear up in the most inconvenient way. But this? Deanâs health? You were not about to back down. Not one single tear dared to appear in your eyes as you looked at John with such anger you wanted to slap him across the face⊠again.
âWhy donât we get a third opinion?â you suggested.
âYeah, Dean, do you wanna sit here like a pussy or do you wanna go save some fucking lives?â John turned to look at him.
âDonât answer that,â you said quickly. âI meant, letâs call the nurse and see what they have to say about it.â
Before John could protest, you walked over and pressed the button. It took half a minuteâduring which you and John stared daggers at each otherâbut soon the nurse walked in.
âHow is everyone?â she asked, noticing the tension in the room.
âDo you think this young man here can leave yet? Heâs doing fine and wants to go home,â John said.Â
âLet me check his chart,â she replied before doing so. âI would have to no, he should definitely stay here and get some much-needed rest.â
âIs there a doctorââ John started but you stopped him.
âGoddamn it John!â you scoffed. âHe is not leaving!âÂ
âYou are not his fucking family!â John shouted, much louder than before. âI am! You arenât his wife, you arenât his sister, you arenât his fucking motherâyou are just his current girlfriend, and believe me thatâll fucking change in a heartbeat. You are not in charge of what Dean does, you are not family.â There was a short pause as your eyes brimmed with tears yet you refused to let them fall. John sighed and continued; âI am Deanâs father, I know whatâs best for him, and I say heâs packing his things and getting the hell outta here.â
The nurse looked absolutely shocked, her jaw hanging open. The look John gave her made her hurry out of the room.
âDad,â Dean said, seeing the tears in your eyes. âDad, you can yell at me all you want, Iâm your kid butâŠâ He exhaled shakily as John turned to look at him with a frustrated look. âBut you canât talk to her like that, you just canât. You might not think of her as family but thatâs on you, she is a part of my family, Dad. And yeah, we might not be legally married or whatever but sheâs not just my current girlfriend? She basically is my wife, weâre not just⊠dating?â Dean looked at his father with a sense of desperation, John just had to apologize and you could all drop it. Of course, John, being a stubborn bastard, held his ground and crossed his arms authoritatively. âI-If you arenât gonna take back what you just said to her y-you can go on this next hunt alone.â
âExcuse me?â John scoffed.Â
âYou heard me,â Dean replied. âSheâs everything to me and I canât sit idly by while you talk to her like that.â
âSo youâre talkinâ back to me now? Like Sammy?â John asked. âRefusing to take orders?â
âThis isnât about me, Dad!â Dean said, his face twisted with guilt. âYou know I follow any orders you give, that Iâm quick to obey. But you saying Y/n isnât family? I-Iâm sorry but I canât let that slide, Dad.â
John huffed and abruptly left the room.
âIâm sorry,â you said to Dean the moment John was out of earshot.
âMe too.â Dean smiled sadly as you both wiped your eyes quickly.
âWhy donât we get these jeans off of you so you can be more comfortable?â you suggested patting his shin.
His brows shot up; âReally? Here? Now?â
âDean, no!â you chuckled, shaking your head. âI meant comfortable so you can go to sleep!â
âOhâŠyeah, that makes more sense.â His trademark cocky smile was back and that made your own smile return to your now tear-stained face.
âIâm serious about you staying put, you know.â You nodded toward his pants and he got the message.Â
âYou can be real stubborn, you know that?â he laughed as he hurried and slipped his pants off. You folded them up and put them on the chair along with his belt. He shrugged off his jacket and you tossed it on top of where the pants sat.Â
âGet under the covers,â you said. He rolled his eyes playfully but he obliged nonetheless.Â
âHappy?â He smiled when he was comfortable in the bed.Â
You nodded; âI love you, Dean.â You leaned down and placed a kiss on his lips, causing his smile to turn more genuine.Â
âHey,â the doctor interrupted as she walked into the room, âNurse Roberts just told me about the little outburst⊠everything okay in here?â
âYeah, just a little misunderstanding is all,â you replied. âBut itâs all settledâDeanâs staying the night.â
âThatâs good to hear,â she said with a smile. âIâve gotta be honest Iâve never seen anything like this.â
âWhat do you mean?â you asked, clearly anxious about her statement.
âI just meant that your husband is very healthy,â she assured you; âIâve never seen a young, healthy man like him just collapse from over-exhaustion.â
âFirst time for everything I guess,â Dean laughed nervously.
You glared at him; âNot funny, babe.â
âSheâs right,â the doctor backed you up. âNow, whatever youâve been doing recently that caused you to lose this much sleep, get this stressed you need to quit it right here, right now.â
âItâs our job, we canât just⊠quit,â you said. âBut I will definitely keep a closer eye on him from now on, make sure heâs getting enough sleep.â
âYou canât put this all on her, you understand me, Mr. Smith?â She looked at Dean before he nodded shyly. âMrs. Smith you need to fix your own sleeping habits as well â if you both donât smarten up and take better care of yourselves, you will definitely be right back here before the end of the year. You got that?â
âYes, maâam,â Dean said.Â
âGood.â She nodded. âNow, Iâm gonna give you a small dose of a mild sedative to help you fall asleep, alright?â She said as she made her way over to Deanâs IV bag to give him the sedative. âYou ripped this out the second you woke up, didnât you?â She asked him when she realized the needle was no longer in his arm. âYou two, I swear!â She started preparing to simply inject Dean with the sedative but you stopped her.
âIs there maybe like a pill equivalent to what youâre giving him? He doesnât really like needles,â you said.Â
âThere is, would you prefer that?â she asked Dean, and he nodded vigorously. âAlright, Iâll go and grab that for you then. Mrs. Smith the chair in the corner folds out into a small bed if you two donât want to share one.â
âOh, thatâs alright, Iâm not tired,â you said.Â
She gave you a look; âSeriously? Hun, what did we just talk about?â
âI get that, but I know Deanâs not gonna sleep properly if he doesnât feel safe.â
âThis is a hospital, itâs safe,â she said.Â
âSorry,â you said with a small shrug, and again she sighed.
At that moment, John decided to walk back into the room, making your breath hitch a little before the doctor left to get the meds for Dean.Â
âItâs alright, you two get some sleep; Iâll keep watch,â he said as he made his way over to the chair and sat down.Â
âYou sure, dad? I thought you said there was a job nearby?â Dean asked.Â
John looked at you and smiled ever-so-slightly. Maybe it was something you had said to him, maybe John didnât want you being alone with Dean while he was so weak, or maybe there never was a job and he didnât have anything better to do than stay with his son.Â
For whatever reason, John Winchester sighed and answered; âYouâre more important, Dean. Your safety is more important. Now quit whining and get some sleep.â
Dean pulled the covers back, silently asking you to join him in the bed and, of course, you obliged. You gave him a quick kiss on the lips before getting comfortable in his arms.
âI love you, sweetheart,â he said, kissing your temple.Â
âI love you more,â you replied, making him let out a soft laugh.Â
âYou always gotta one-up me, huh?â he chuckled.Â
âUh-huh,â you giggled. His arms tightened around your frame as he tucked your head under his chin. John couldnât help but feel a twinge of guilt for treating not only you but his own son so poorly. Every time John saw Dean be this relaxed and happy, you were always the cause. Maybe that wasnât such a bad thing.
By the time the doctor got back about seven minutes later, you and Dean were both fast asleep; the latter letting out snores that gently moved your hair with each breath. She smiled a little at the sight and decided to duck back out of the room so as not to wake you two.

too tired. -m.s.
âïžhey sluts!âïž
warnings: softdom!reader, kind of sub!matt, riding, praising, sleepy sex, cockwarming, unprotected p in v (WRAP YO SHIT UP!!!!), no use of y/n bc i hate itđ€
synopsis: after slightly ignoring matt before bed, you show him that you can be just as much of a tease as him.
a/n: HIIIII!!! sooo this is my first fic so iâm so very sorry if itâs bad!! but iâm so excited for yâall to read this is not even funny. anyways, enjoy!!
it wasnât out of the ordinary for matt to stay up late. it was actually more than normal. especially if he were playing video games.Â
it was 2 am. 2:06 am, to be exact. you were laying in mattâs bed, doom-scrolling tiktok half-asleep as matt was focused on fortnite with nick and chris. they werenât filming anything, but every few nights, they like to get nostalgic and just play video games all night.Â
âchris, youâre too fucking loud.â matt exclaims.Â
âno, iâm not!â chris retaliates, which you hear through the floor and mattâs headset.Â
matt turns back to you with a âcan you believe this kid?â look on his face.Â
you giggle when you see matt gesturing to his headset and shaking his head.Â
you go look back at your phone as matt yawns while stretching, reaching his arms up. his shirt lifted a little, exposing his boxers under his blue pajama pants.Â
he caught you staring, realizing what simple things had an effect on you. the ball was in his court. although you loved the idea of late night sex, you didnât know how matt would feel.Â
so, you just laid there, waiting until you physically couldnât stay awake.Â
matt saw your eyes flutter open and closed, how your hand would slowly droop down the whip back up when your eyes opened.Â
he came over, shut off your phone, pulled up your blanket, and kissed you on the forehead.Â
just then, you heard matt whisper over his headset.Â
âhey, sheâs falling asleep, and iâm feeling pretty tired. goodnight.â matt states.Â
âaww, goodnight matty.â nick replies.Â
chris, being chris, replies with, âyeah, youâre gonna go to âsleepâ.âÂ
matt rolls his eyes as nick laughs. he ends the conversation and turns his whole setup off.Â
you feel his mattress dip from behind you, right as you feel two warm arms wrap around your waist from behind.Â
his touch wasnât helping the thoughts you were having right now. you wanted him. but didnât even wanna open your eyes.Â
to send a signal, you started to adjust how you were laying, carefully moving your hips to perfectly rub against mattâs hips and thighs.Â
your subconscious mustâve known what was gonna happen to you tonight, as you went to bed in mattâs baggy briefs and one of his shirts.Â
no underwear, no bra.Â
you were more comfortable that way, and so was matt.Â
matt groaned quietly as he slowly moved his head into the crook of your neck, leaving soft pecks.
âgoodnight, my girl. i love you.âÂ
you didnât respond.Â
matt was a little offended by the loud silence that followed his sentence.Â
âbaby? you already asleep?âÂ
honestly, you were about to be.Â
a soft groan left you as you shook your head.Â
âwhatâs wrong?â he asked.
ânothinâ. just too tired to even think right now.â
he knew when something was wrong.
the way your voice got low, your head would lightly shake side to side with every âreassuringâ sentence, and how youâd lack in responses in total.
âwell, somethinâ is wrong. tell me, baby. whatâs on your mind?â
you could feel him getting hard as you kept adjusting your hips.Â
every. single. inch.
âif you donât tell me whatâs wrong, then iâm just gonna go to bed.â
silence.
âalright. your choice.â
you felt him turn over as his arms left your side.
you just ignored him.
bad idea.
âwait.â
you turned onto your back, leaning on your elbows as you tried to peek at mattâs face.Â
he didnât even move.
âmatt. baby.â
no response.
boy, did that pill hurt to swallow.
âbaby, iâm ready to talk. amongst.. other.. things.â
you were hoping he was gonna catch your drift.
you assumed he did when he only turned his head to look up at you. the dim light coming from a warm, vanilla candle on his desk made him look more irresistible.Â
âwhat.. other things?â
âbaby. you know what iâm talking about.â
âmmm. not too sure i am.â
he put on a smug look, acting stupid.Â
thatâs how he would punish you.
whenever you would tease him or treat him like he was the needy one in public.Â
you sat fully up, now leaning on your left hand, still looking down at him.Â
âi wanna.. you know..â
âohh.â
maybe he would be nice and give in tonight.
âmmh. too tired.â
nevermind.
âmatt!â
you whisper-yelled. loud enough to grab his attention, but quiet enough that you couldnât even hear it in nick or chrisâ room.
âlook, iâm sorry i ignored you earlier. i really am! but-â
âbut what?â
his deep voice made you feel knots in your stomach.Â
the way his curls laid perfectly on his head.
the way his tattoos complimented his veins.
everything about him made you snap out of your sleepy haze.
you reached over to his hip, pulling him flat on his back.
you swept your leg over his hips, leaving you perfectly sat onto his lap.Â
he acted tough, but you knew you could make him do anything you wanted.Â
âthe fuck do you think youâre doing?âÂ
mattâs voice was stern, but you knew he wasnât actually upset.
how?
by the way the bulge underneath your core was getting harder and harder.Â
âiâm sorry for ignoring you.â
you left a kiss on his neck.
âiâm sorry for not switching the laundry earlier.â
then his collarbone.
âiâm sorry for not being a good girlfriend.â
then his chest, with the collar of his shirt lightly pulled down to give you easy access.
you didnât actually think you were a bad girlfriend, but you werenât trying to guilt him.
you were teasing him.
his least and most favorite thing in the world.
âno, baby. youâre all i want and more.â
mattâs hands caressed your sides.
once he reached up high enough, he realized you didnât have a bra on.
you could see his excitement.
and feel it.
âthen prove it.â
he immediately sat up and pulled his shirt off.
it was like out of a movie.
sloppy kisses as you both started to get undressed.Â
next thing you know, youâre completely naked and all he has on is his boxers.Â
âcan you take your boxers off for me? i need you as close to me as possible.â
you pushed yourself up slightly on your knees, giving him enough room to slip his boxers off and throw them somewhere on his floor.Â
he laid back, giving you the sweetest puppy dog eyes youâd ever seen.Â
you grabbed his length, teasing your own entrance, knowing it was just as bad for him.Â
you kept eye contact the entire time, making sure to see his eyebrows furrow as soon as he was inside of you.Â
once he was, it was like he had melted.
slow, sultry movements of your hips was enough to make him twitch.Â
low groans had left his mouth, making you closer and closer the the edge.Â
after a few minutes of little praises from both of you, you both felt your highs getting closer and closer.
âjust like that.â
âyouâre doing great for me, baby.â
âlook at my pretty girl.â
mattâs hands gripped his sheets, proving his release was getting closer and closer.
the sight of his veins was enough to make you moan his name.
he looked up at you, praying his brothers didnât hear.Â
not that he would be too upset if they did.
âcan i-Â mmph..â
you were waiting for him to ask, as you needed to release the knot in your stomach.Â
âgo ahead, baby.â
you felt the warmth of his release inside of you, mixed with your own.
you slumped over, laying on his chest.Â
he played with your hair while you both attempted to catch your breath.Â
light sweat was making his hair stick to his forehead.Â
you lightly kissed his chest, feeling his heartbeat.Â
you felt safe with him.Â
the way he was never ashamed to open up to you, nor was he judgemental when you opened up to him.Â
âcan i.. maybe.. keep it in? yâknow, while we sleep?â
âletâs clean up, then of course. anything for my pretty boy.â
after you showered together, with light kisses and washing eachothers bodies, you went back to bed.Â
you stayed undressed.
as he slipped back into you, eliciting light moans from both of you, he wrapped his arms back around your waist.Â
âwas that enough proof? or should i give you more?â
you chuckled, knowing how tomorrow morning would start.

âHi. This is Doctor Spencer Reid. Iâm not available right now, but leave a message and Iâll get back to you as soon as I canâŠâ
His tinny voice cut off to make way for the signature beep of the beginning of a voicemail recording.
You could hang up nowâyou should hang up now, save yourself some dignity and go drown your sorrows in alcohol like a normal person instead of calling your ex-boyfriend.
You should, but your mouth was opening before your finger could reach the hang-up button, andâŠand it was a losing battle from the moment you clicked on Spencerâs icon.
âUhâhi, itâsâŠitâs me.â You huffed out a sad laugh.
âSo, um, IâŠI tried calling, but you didnât answer soâŠâ The static buzz of silence hummed through your ear, just inches from where you held your phone with a shaky grip. âmaybe youâre on a case or out with friends, or someone elseââ You let the implication hang in the airâthe thought of Spencer potentially being in a relationship bringing a lump to your throat.
You swallowed it down.
âI justâŠI just had an unbelievably shitty day, Spence.â You sniffed, wiping the moisture that had escaped from your eye with your sweater sleeve. âI know youâve never read A Series of Unfortunate Events but I think Iâd give those kids a run for their money.â You tried to laugh but it came out as more of a sob.
You inhaled shakily, trying to collect yourself and remember why on earth you thought it would be a good idea to call Spencer when youâd been broken up for months. Hell, you hadnât heard from him at all since you had parted waysâexcept from the odd text about returning each othersâ things. It was obvious he had moved on, and here you were, filling up his voicemail with blubbering messages and making references to adolescent books.
âGod, sorry about this.â You breathed out a watery chuckle. âI justâŠdidnât want to be alone, I guess. But thatâs-um-not your problem anymore, so IâmâIâm sorry. Have a nice night.â Your voice cracked and you hung up before you could start weeping down the line. You didnât need to look even more pathetic.
You pulled your phone away from your ear, looking down at his contact photo through blurred vision. He was smilingânot the tight, closed lip smile he gave other people, but a full, bright smile that had his dimples showing. One of your hands was wrapped loosely around his neck and the other was holding your phone just far enough away to capture both of your smiles. Your head was rested on top of his shoulder, tilted just slightly to the left so your temple was brushing against his.
It felt like looking at a vintage photographâyou knew those people and their happiness existed at some point in time, but it wasnât tangible; you couldnât verify it was real.
When you were with Spencer, you never doubted how real it was. All you had to was look at him across the room and heâd flash you a smile identical to the one in that photo and youâd justâŠknow.
It felt like forever ago now that youâd been on the receiving end of that grin and it killed you. So much so that before you could consider the repercussions, you were trudging through to your kitchen and grabbing the bottle of whiskey that sat unopened in your cabinet. It had been a presentâfrom Rossi, actually. When Spencer had first introduced you to the team, the older man had given it to you as something of a welcome gift. Of course, he couldnât have known you werenât much of a drinker, and since you wanted to make a good impression (and because you were sure it had cost more than all the alcohol you had consumed in your life combined) you accepted itâdeciding to save it for a rainy day.
You think this qualified.
You grabbed the bottle, a glass, and padded back through to your living room, slumping onto your couch. You filled your glass up a little less than halfway before gulping it down, enjoying the burn in your throatâit was better than the constant thickness.
You poured yourself another glass before turning on the TV. You werenât sure what was playingâit didnât really matter anyway, your vision was already being obscured by tears again.
You thought the pounding was in your head at firstâserves you right for drinking half a bottle of whiskey. Only, it wasnât, because moments later the pounding subsided and instead, your apartment door was opening, casting your pitch-black living room in a yellow glow which temporarily blinded you.
You squeezed your eyes shut, your mind hazyâagain, serves you right for drinking half a bottle of whiskey. Someone was calling your name, but there was too much sensory input for you to make out who.
You certainly hoped it wasnât a paramedicâmaybe your neighbour had heard you sobbing for the last four hours and decided you needed a wellness check. Then there were hands on your face, and that had you flicking your eyes open, because you recognised those handsâimpossibly soft, with a callus on his trigger finger being the only thing to mar them. Spencer.
âSpencer?â You slurred.
He sighed in exasperation (or relief) and tucked a stray strand of hair behind your ear.
âAre you alright? You werenât answering your phone, I thoughtâŠâ He trailed off, worry evident in his voice.
You sat up then, trying to compose yourself even though the room was spinning. Fucking whiskey. You rubbed your eyes haphazardly, blinking until you could finally see.
You shouldâve stayed bleary-eyed. Because nothing could prepare you for the way your breath hitched when you finally saw him. After months of not seeing each other, Spencer was here, sitting on your couch, and he was looking at you like you were something fragile, andâGod, you needed another drink. You turned away from him, reaching for the neck of the bottle as you spoke.
âIâm fine.â
Before you could lift it up, Spencer gently pried your hand away from the bottle with his own, and then slid it across the coffee table with his other.
âYouâre drunk. No more of that, please.â His tone wasnât unkind, but he left no room to argue. You probably wouldâve objected anyway, if it werenât for the way he kept his hand clasped around yours, rubbing soothing circles into your pulse point almost absentmindedly.
You glanced up to himâto stop yourself from staring at your hand in his and how natural it felt, more than anythingâbut that proved to be a mistake too, because he looked just as beautiful as thirty seconds prior and it felt just as natural for him to be sitting next to you on your sofa, but it wasnât natural anymore.
âHow did you get in?â
âMy key.â
âOh.â
Right. The key that he still had because you refused to meet up with him to let him return it. He tried for weeks to contact you, but you ignored him, because getting the key back meant things were finally over. You supposed he could return it nowâmaybe thatâs why he came in the first place.
âWhy did you come?â You asked, your voice impossibly small.
âYou called.â He repliedâas though he was talking about something as simple as the weather. You call and I come.
You searched in his eyes for any sign of a lie, but of course, there was none. He was being completely genuineâas always. You were the awful ex-girlfriend who left concerning voicemails on his phone and had him travelling to your apartment in the middle of the night only for him to look completely okay with the situationâlike there was nothing heâd rather be doing than making sure you were safe.
You couldnât help the way tears sprung to your eyes or your lip began to tremble as you lolled your head back onto the couch, pulling your gaze away from his.
âAngel, whatâs wrong?â
You liked to consider yourself to be a strong person. You had been through things in your life that were objectively worse than your breakup with Spencer, but something about the gentleness of his tone and the way he had let one of his many (past) petnames for you slip had your throat tightening and you ducked your head into your one handâthe other still seized by Spencerâsâto try and muffle a sob.
âHey,â He trailed his hand that was wrapped around yours up your arm, all the way to your shoulder blade before lightly guiding you towards him. You donât have enough energy in you to fight his magnetic pull, so you shuffle over until you can bury your head into his shirt. You inhale his scent; vanilla, neroli, and so him it makes you ache.
Stopping your tears is futileâyouâd know, theyâd barely ceased all nightâso you just let them fall, seeping into Spencerâs tie as he rubs one hand softly up and down your back, the other cradling the crown of your head.
His breathing is quiet and slowâthe exact opposite of yoursâand you try to imitate itâforcing air into your lungs. When your sobbing has turned to shaky breathing and the occasional sniffle, he speaks up.
âDo you want to talk?â
Talk about what? About what had happened todayâwhat had led you to calling him? Talk about how for the last few months, he had been the only person you had wanted to call?
âNo.â You hated how pitiful you sounded.
âOkay.â
Spencer didnât say anything else for a minuteâyour synchronised breathing being the only thing to stop the room from falling into dead silence.
âYou need to rehydrate.â He murmured, smoothing down your hair.
You hummed into him, in no hurry to unwrap yourself from his body. You probably wouldnât get to be this close to him again, after all.
He moved both of his hands to your biceps, pulling you back slightly so you could look at him. He knitted his brows together in a silent plea which had you rolling your eyes petulantly, your lashes still damp from tears.
âFine.â You peeled yourself off of him, pushing yourself into a standing position. Horrible mistake. You were still incredibly drunk, turns out, and everything was spinning a little bit and come to think of it, you were also nauseous andâ
âCareful, lovely.â Spencer placed his hand firmly on the small of your back, keeping you upright.
andâactually, you were fine now.
He stood too, moving his hand just slightly over to your waist so he could guide you to the kitchen. When he knew you could stand uprightâeven if you were relying mostly on the counter behind youâhe grabbed a glass from your cabinet, moving around effortlessly to pour you some water. The sight was so domestic you almost wanted to cry again. Maybe in some alternate timeline, where you and him couldâve worked, this would be an every day thingâminus the drunk sobbing part, of course.
He handed you the glass of water, watching as you took a few sips. He raised an eyebrow, nodding his head slowly.
âWhole thing, please.â
You let out an exasperated (affectionate) sigh and gulped the rest of it down, setting it on the counter behind you.
âHappy?â
âVery.â
You smirked, trailing your gaze down his body. He was still in his work clothes which, at the very least, meant he wasnât on a date before he came here. He always changed before datesâwell, for you, anyway. You wondered if he had been on any dates since the breakupâyou certainly hadnât. It had been long enough now that it wouldnât be weird for you to start seeing other peopleâbut you didnât want to. You werenât sure youâd ever want to, to be completely honest.
The more you thought about it, the more the whole thing seemed stupid. You didnât want anyone else, you wanted Spencer. You had tried to get over him but if tonight was any indicationâit clearly wasnât working. You canât even remember why you broke up in the first placeâit all seemed so insignificant now. No amount of pain you had ever experienced in your relationship had come close to that of living without him.
You met his eyes once more and it was like he could see the question brewing. He tried to stop you, calling your name in a quiet warning, but you ignored him.
âWhy did we break up?â
He frowned, pulling his bottom lip between his teeth with his tongue in that maddening way he did.
âIâyou know whyââ
âNo, but I donât! I know things were difficult sometimes but that doesnât mean it didnât work. It workedâwe worked.â Your eyes were stinging again.
Spencer pressed his index and middle finger into his eye, furrowing his brows.
âI know, I know we worked, angelâbut you were sad all the time, remember? I was gone so often and it wasnât good for you.â His true emotions were indecipherable but his tone was soft, and you wished you could be as calm about this as him. Did he just not care as much as you did?
âBut ItâsâItâs worse nowââ You choked out, tears falling freely now. âI was sad when you were gone, but you always came backâyou donât come back anymore.â
Spencer removed his hand from his face, flexing it at his side like he was uncertain what to do with himself before taking a stride towards you. He brought a hand to your face, wiping the tears from under your eyes delicatelyâlike you were made of porcelain.
âListen, sweetheartâalcohol affects your ability to regulate your emotions and I know right now it might feel worse but that doesnât mean it alwaysââ
âSpencer, stop! Itâs not the fucking alcohol, I miss you! I miss you all of the time! Evenâeven when Iâm having a good dayâI still want youâand especially when Iâwhen I have a bad dayââ You choked out through heaving breaths.
âBreathe.â He urges, cupping your cheek. And youâre so, so angry, and sad, and tired that you have no choice but to shut up and listen to him. When youâve adequately calmed down, he moves his hand to your jaw, tilting your head up to look at him.
âI donât think we should talk about this tonight but Iââ You open your mouth to protest.
âI promise we can talk about it tomorrow when youâre soberâif you still want to.â
Your lip trembles of its own volition and you frown.
âOf course I want to.â
âOkay,â
âOkay.â
He gives your eyes a final wipe before heâsârather unexpectedlyâpulling you into a hug. You all but melt into him, your head finding its home in his sternum and your arms wrapping around his middle. He tilts his head down, kissing the top of your headâand youâre certain you canât let this go again. You will chain him down before Spencer leaves this apartment again.
Everything is wordless from thereâmostly because youâre so, so exhausted that even talking seems like too difficult a task. Spencer helps you find something more comfortable to change into and you pull out an old t-shirt of his and a pair of plaid pyjama pants you had kept here for him. I guess your keeping them âjust in case you needed them in the futureâ had come in handy, after all.
As you washed your face, Spencer snuck through to the kitchen, refilling your water and grabbing two aspirin in a not-so-subtle attempt to help the inevitable hangover you were going to have in the morning.
You caught him placing them on your bedside table and mock gasped.
âTrying to drug me in my sleep so you can make a run for it in the night?â
He grinned lazilyâexhaustion creeping up on him as well.
âI wouldnât dream of it.â
You smiled, flopping yourself onto your bed rather ungraciously. Spencer looked at you like you were something fascinating before biting his lip, clearly deep in thought.
âWhat?â You let out a self-effacing little chuckle.
âI was justâŠwonderingâŠif youâd like me to sleep on the couch?â
You probably shouldâve been more careful in your facial expressions considering you were still broken up but your thoughts about that offer were obvious.
âNo, stay.â Stay in your bed, in your apartmentâstay anywhere that was close to you.
Maybe you were coming on a little too strong.
âUnless you want to, I meanââ
âNo, noâIâll stay.â Forever, preferably.
He walked around to the other side of your bedâas he had done so many times beforeâand sat down, pulling the covers over his legs. You mirrored his movements before flicking your bedside lamp out, turning to face him.
You were a little thankful you were so out of it, because this had the potential to be very awkward otherwise. Spencer shuffled down so that he was at eye level with you, turning to face you as well.
You just stared for a moment, committing him to memory. The moonlight had a way of highlighting all the high points of his face, and the twinkle in his eyes, andâGod, you were so glad the moon existed and that Spencer was in your bed that you couldnât help but giggle.
âWhat?â Spencer laughed along with you, even though he had no idea what was so funny.
âNothing. Youâre pretty.â
âYouâre drunk. Go to sleep.â
âDonât wanna.â
âWhy?â
âScared youâll be gone when I wake upâlike I made it all up.â
Spencerâs smile faded then, and he looked at you with something that seemed so much like the one thing you had been willing yourself to stop doing the whole time that youâd been broken up, that it almost took your breath away.
âI wonât. I promised, didnât I?â
You nodded.
âSo thereâs nothing to worry about. Now get some sleep, lovely.â
You smiled, feeling Spencerâs hand inching towards yours. He intertwined them and gave yours a squeeze.
âJust in case you make a run for it in the night.â
You chuckled, your eyelids fluttering shut. Yeah, you could make it work.
part two!

Never Alone ââ©ËËË
rafe x reader angst/comfort âčË.â
Summary: Rafe goes to sleep alone after reader doesn't listen to him, but something's missing.
Warnings: arguing/yelling, reader being in the wrong, insults and some stronger language
âčË.âïž”âżïž”âżàšâĄà§âżïž”âżïž”âčË.â
âI canât believe this.. I canât believe you.â Rafe said, pointing an accusatory finger and shaking his head in disappointment.
You stood there, any bit of attitude that you walked in with had left your body the moment you saw the look in his eyes.
âRafe, I just lost track of time!â You protested, unintentionally sounding whiny.
âYou donât fucking listen!â His voice raised and you stood smaller as he continued his rant, âEverything I say is in and out with you.â His eyes narrowed at your face.
There was only one thing that pushed Rafe off the edge; not listening to what he tells you. Months ago he had told you not to hang out with the pogues. Since then, youâd been sneaking around with them to not piss off your short-tempered boyfriend.Â
Itâs proving to be true that you also shouldâve listened to him when he told you to be ready for a gala by 6pm sharp tonight. The Cameron family was being honored at the country club for being generous contributors after a particularly large donation made by Rafeâs father. Of course, you found yourself adventuring with the pogues, stained with dirt and very far from home at 6pm.Â
According to him, Rafe had been covering for you all night, saying that you had the flu and wouldnât be able to make it. Your arrival was heavily anticipated because your grandfather was a big name in the country club. In turn, Rafe needed you there to make conversation and for a good excuse to leave early. He was beyond livid when he stormed into the house at 9pm and realized that you still werenât home. When you finally tried to sneak into the bedroom thirty minutes later, praying Rafe was still away and racking your brain for believable excuses, he was waiting with an angry red face.
It didnât help your case at all when Rafe saw JJ Maybank and Kiara Carrera driving away from his house.
âRafe mâsorry-'' you tried to apologize again, but he cut you off.
âI donât care!â He stared at you for a moment, taking in your expression before starting again, âJesus, sâlike youâre a child.â he mumbled, ready to end the night angry.
Until you rolled your eyes right as he turned around to face you again.
âRolling your eyes at me, hm?â He said, the anger coming back into his tone, âyâknow what? If you want to hang out with those assholes so bad, go on. Sâwhere you belong.â He said, his tone biting into you as he turned again.
Tears welled in your eyes. You knew Rafe had brought you this kook lifestyle when you were struggling after your mother left the island. You thanked him for two weeks after you moved in with him, then the two of you didnât speak about it. Itâs been a year since then and this was the first time he had brought it up. You didn't think he'd hold it above you.
A sob escaped the confines of your throat when he slammed the door behind him. You let your body crumble, crying into your hands. He had barely let you get a word out and you hated him for it. You knew you were in the wrong, but his words kicked you in the gut.
You picked your own sobbing body up, quieting down and making your way to change from your dirty clothes. You could hear Rafeâs pacing steps and occasional annoyed sighs from downstairs. After wiping the dirt off of your body and getting changed, you laid in the huge bed the two of you shared, trying to distract yourself. You already knew that Rafe planned to sleep in a guest room downstairs and you told yourself it was fine.Â
An hour passed and turned into two, the clock ticking as you eventually watched three hours pass. You were restless, just like how you always were without Rafe. You both couldnât sleep without the otherâs company. You were going to lay awake all night until a soft knock on the door sounded around the room and an exhausted Rafe tried to quietly walk in. You sat up, looking at his hooded eyes.
âRafe, Iâm so sorry..â You took in a breath as you prepared to spit all of your reasons out at once.
âNo, mâsorry. I shouldnât have said that.â He breathed out, sitting on the bed next to you.
âNo, Rafe. I was irresponsible, baby please.. please forgive me.â You whispered your last words, tears forming again, âIâll listen. I promise Iâll listen.â
âShh baby..â He cooed, laying down and holding you to him, âwe can talk in the morning. Js need you..â He muttered.
You meekly smiled into him, happy to know that his soft spot for you hadnât worn thin.
âI love you.â You whispered into his chest, but the only response you got back were his small snores.

Cool Girl
Ghoap x female reader / 18+ / previous
The sunrise stabs under your eyelids with malicious intent.
You donât have much of a hangover, but your face is still puffy, under eyes swollen. Youâve been crying all night, and itâs painfully obvious.
Not to mention the lack of sleep. The vomit induced by your overwhelming anxiety, the bile still scorching your throat. You havenât slept more than an hour. You look like the walking dead.
You tried to have a serious talk with yourself around two oâclock in the morning. You told- no you promised- yourself youâd leave well enough alone. Youâd put them out of your mind. Youâd move on.
They never wanted you. So why are you so insulted that they did exactly what they said they would? You werenât theirs. Youâd never be theirs.
Good enough to keep in bed. Good enough to keep out of sight. But not someone theyâd consider theirs.
Youâre no oneâs. Youâre just⊠yours.
Which is fine. Itâs more than fine. Youâre cool. You donât need them, or anyone.
Your hand wonât stop shaking though. It shakes when you turn on the water for the shower, shakes as you try to shave. It shakes through your first cup of tea and then your second, shakes when you curl up the couch and huddle under your blankets, staring blankly at reruns of some laugh tracked sitcom. Itâs because you havenât slept or youâre hungover or something-
And it only stops when your doorbell rings.
You slam your eyes shut. Youâre not expecting anyone, and that alone makes you feel like thereâs probably someone on the other side of the door that you decidedly do not want to see.
The glance through your peephole confirms your suspicions.
Itâs Johnny. Heâs standing squarely in front of your door, bouquet of flowers in his hand.
Your head starts to pound, and he knocks on the door.
âI know yeâre home, bonnie. I saw yer car in the garage.â Youâre frozen on the other side, separated by a piece of metal and wood that suddenly feels less substantial than it ever has before.
When the lock doesnât click, he knocks again. ââm not leavinâ until I see ye.â You groan.
âStalking me now?â You spit when you open the door and he grins sheepishly.
âNaw...â He doesnât elaborate and you stand in the frame of the door, trying to block him from peering over you- though itâs no use. You watch his critical gaze take inventory of what he can in your flat, and then he returns his attention to you, holding out the flowers.
Theyâre tulips. Maybe twenty, twenty five stems, all in a spectacle of color. Theyâre beautiful, and your favorite.
It surprises you. That they even know that about you. That they would remember a comment you must have made in passing.
It gives you pause. Itâs confusing.
âGot these for ye.â Heâs⊠such a boy. A grown man, a decorated military man, a strong man but still⊠such a boy. Heâs never looked more like a boy than he does now, eyes wide and nervous, shifting his weight from leg to leg. He blinks, eyelashes feathery and dark, and youâre left to wonder if he gets it from his mom or his dad. Does he have sisters? Brothers? Nieces or nephews? You ached for those pieces of them, before.
Now, the lingering questions fill you with embarrassment.
He steps forward, and you shrink back. His gaze flickers, and then clears, holding the overflowing bundle of colors towards you.
âThanks.â You say stiffly, careful to avoid his fingers when you pull it free.
âCan I come in?â
âI donât think thatâs a good idea.â He chews on his lip.
âYe look tired, love. Did ye get any sleep?â You sniff, hand resting on your hip.
âIâm fine.â
âYe dinnae look fine.â
âWhy are you here?â Youâre cracking with exasperation, legs going weak. Youâre not strong enough to stand here and survive an onslaught.
âNeed to talk with ye, like we said last night.â
âThereâs nothing to talk about, like I said last night.â You parrot with a irritated exhale.
âYe know thatâs jusâ not true. We need to talk about what ye saw, what ye think ye saw-â
âWhat did I see? Since apparently you know what Iâm thinking now.â Youâre too tired for this. You donât want to do this. You want to crawl back into bed and hide under your blankets.
âYe think ye saw us with another woman, or on a date, but-â
âI saw your hands on another woman. I saw her smiling at you like-â you shake your head. âIt doesnât matter what I saw,â he swallows, mouth pressing into an uncomfortable line, âI always knew this wasnât real, that it didnât mean anything but-â
âYe agreed. Ye always said ye didnae want a relationship.â He reminds you sharply, and you nearly swallow your tongue.
âYeah, I didnât, so.â The lie is foul on your tongue, rancid and spoiled, but you give it life regardless. Fuck them. Youâre fine.
âBut yer mad ye saw us with another woman.â He raises an eyebrow, and you never wanted to punch someone so badly.
But instead of a rising tide of anger, you get an overwhelming wave of despair, and tears prick at the corner of your eyes.
âAh, no, love. Please, please dinnae cry. âm sorry, this is such a mess. We never meant for any of this.â Your hand starts shaking again, trembling against the plastic wrapped around the stems, and Johnnyâs expression changes from sad to worried. âWhatâs this?â He tries to reach, fingers grazing the back of your arm.
âN-nothing, Iâm just tired.â
âLove-â
âJust⊠go away.â Your patience snaps, shatters, and his face falls. It almost makes your feel bad.
Almost.

Warnings: smut
Originally you had planned on waking up early today, despite it being your day off, to go to a local farmerâs market nearby your house. But when you did wake up you could see nothing but harsh rain and grey skies outside. You hadnât checked the weather the night before, but going on your phone now it was clear that if you went outside at all today you were going to get soaked.
You rolled back into your bed with a sigh, you were really looking forward to that market, actually having some money to spend on overpriced food and knick-knacks. But when Seungcheol snaked an arm around your waist and pulled you closer to him under the covers you felt a lot better.
âGood morning.â He whispered in your ear, voice still gravelly from sleep. Neither of you said anything, listening to the rain pour against the building, drowning out the rest of the world in your cosy enclave. You snuggled further in towards Seungcheol, his body acting as your personal heater, the faint smell of his cologne was making you drowsy. You had a few hours to kill now that you werenât going anywhere, and couldnât think of a better place to be right now than in this room. Seungcheol started rubbing small circles on the skin of your chest as you lay pressed against him, just about to drift off when you felt something hard begin to press against your leg.
You ignored it at first- figuring it was just morning wood- and tried going back to sleep. Then Seungcheol began lightly kissing along your hair, and the circles on your torso beginning to press harder. You looked up at him, and could see the mischief in his eyes.
âNot tired?â You asked, raising an eyebrow.
Seungcheol blushed slightly, having the decency to look at least a little guilty. Planting a firm kiss on your lips. âI was dreaming about you last night.â
Your heart immediately jumped at the confession, your panties growing damp. You pulled yourself into a sitting position on the bed and looked down at him. Eyes wide and hair curled slightly. âAnd, what were we doing?â
A sly smile spread across Seungcheolâs face, clearly enjoying the view of you in the grey morning light wearing nothing but your panties and his t-shirt. âWe went to the market, but it was closed, you were so sad about missing it that I ate you out to cheer you up.â
Your face grew hot at his language, the pressing look in his eye. You straddled his lap, grinding softly against the growing tent in his pants.
âYou wanna make your dreams come true?â
Seungcheol shook his head vigorously, large hands going straight to your ass and squeezing the soft flesh there. He looked up at you with a dopey smile. âMaybe later, I really need to be inside you right now.â
Your lips met halfway, tongues tangling in a lazy mix of saliva and teeth. Your hips pressed harder against his groin, rocking against him and building a steady rhythm. It was slightly uncoordinated, but you could both feel yourselves getting more desperate. Seungcheol alternating between kneading your ass and the upper back of your thighs, and holding onto your hips firmly to control your pace and move you exactly how he wanted. Meanwhile you had moved from his lips and were sucking red marks onto as much skin as you could reach. Your hands braced against his strong shoulders, every sound leaving his mouth had your head spinning.Â
It was a dark bruise you left at the junction between his neck and collarbone that finally broke Seungcheolâs resolve, pushing you slightly off him and quickly pulling off his sleeping shorts. He pushed your panties to the slide, taking a moment to run a finger up the centre of your swollen cunt. You watched in awe as you saw him put the finger in his mouth, hollowing his cheeks before pulling out with a wet pop.
âThis is so much better than the dream.â He said, slamming your hips down on his.
All hints of gentleness immediately disappear, with Seungcheol in complete control of your lower bodies and holding onto you so tightly youâre sure heâll leave bruises. You lean back and fist the bedsheets at your side for some stability. Feeling his cock moving against all the right places from this angle. You know how much Seungcheol loves fucking you in his clothes but you peel the shirt off so he can get a good look at your breasts as your body moves against his. With the mounting pressure in your stomach you know looking at him right now is dangerous but you canât help yourself. When you look down you see Seungcheolâs eyebrows wrinkled together in concentration, biting his upper lip slightly, and as you expected eyes locked on the movement of your chest. You groan at the sight, one hand leaving the bedsheets to tweak your nipple and sending shockwaves through the rest of your body.
Seungcheolâs sounds start growing louder, time running out for how long he can last inside you. You use the hand that had been playing with your nipple to rub circles around your clit and immediately gasp at the feeling.
âAre you close?â You practically beg, falling forward on top of him, the arm youâve been using for stability moves just above his shoulder. Youâre so close to his face now you can feel him panting against your neck, head nodding in answer to your question. Your hand moves faster beneath you, the coil in your stomach tightening as Seungcheol slams you harder against him. Finally you break, and the relief floods your body as you ride out the end of your orgasm. Seungcheol pulls out just in time to see your rapturous face coming undone before fisting his shaft and cumming all over your stomach and the bottom of your breasts.
The rain is still pouring against the window as you clean yourselves up. Seungcheolâs put on a proper shirt and sweatpants and is whistling as he moves around your bedroom while you lounge in bed scrolling on your phone.
âYou know we still might be able to go to that market tomorrow morning if we wake up early again.â You say, Seungcheolâs face scrunches slightly.
âI donât want to wake up early on two of my days off.â
âOh,â You tease. âYou mean youâre not gonna have any more dreams about fucking me then?â
Seungcheol meets your eyes and laughs slightly.
âOh honey, thatâs what all my dreams are about.â
