Me looking at the track record of things being sealed in this show, knowing there is a non-zero chance the seal on the Jade Emepror's power doesn't break, also knowing that Wukong has a habit of hurting himself when he feels he needs to ("Yeah well- you gotta crack a few eggs to make an omlete" "You know, and do you in the omlete story!" "Did you forget the part where I got super hurt?" *strangles 3x01 with my bear hands*):

honestly people should start drawing Wukong with Peach's dress. I can just immagine him being kidnapped the third time that week by Rumble and savage. Mk being so tired that his mentor keeps being kidnapped by stranger that are talking on and on about Wukong being their mother and is their right to take him back home while Wukong is tied up like fagoto. It gets so repitetive that even Macaque is tired, but having them distract on kidnapping Wukong is far better than having to parent them. So he doesn’t stop them at all.
I also think at some point Wukong could not mind too much being kidnapped, it is annoying and tireding. But he could start to enjoy spending time with Rumbke and Savage, seeing them acting like children with him ect. He even could convice them to not try to fight with Mk or kidnapped in exchange of a evening where they can play together (Wukong and Rumble and Savage). Even gifting them some toys or candy at the end of the day.
Sorry for taking so long to respond, I tried to put my ideas in order, it turned out to be more difficult than I thought.
thanks for asking

For real
Mk being so tired that his mentor keeps being kidnapped
It's really kidnapping if you can break free whenever you want
mk: wait a second, you were able to break the bonds all this time?
SWK: yep
mk: then why didn't you do it before?!
Swk: because... THEY ARE SO CUTE!
I think the only time they really kidnapped him is when Macaque ordered it and the first time they met during JTTW.
sun wukong, tripitaka ao lie and the pilgrims everyone was so confused as hell 😖
savage: leave our mom alone, your bad man!
Rumble: We won't let you take Mama Peach away!
[pointing they fingers at the monk tripitaka]
Tripitaka: BAD MAN?!!
Zhu Bajie: mama?!
Sha Wujing: mama Peach?
SWK: i'm your... mom?
Ao lie: [🤯]
Monkey King doesn't really deny about being their mom and plays along because he doesn't want to hurt their feelings and he really loves them.
( This is also somewhat based on the interactions between Princess Peach and Bowser Jr, as she never denies being his mother and does not even confront Bowser about the lie. )
It gets so repitetive that even Macaque is tired
which is very ironic because Macaque made them specifically to help him catch sun wukong
But when did they start asking questions like "what is a mommy" and why don't we have a mom?"
Macaque lied to them because in his perspective it was easier lie to them than tell them the truth
Macaque: "hey kids, they are both clones that I combined with fragments of wukong's power that I made to help me get my revenge" imagine how they would react if they found out You understand why I can't tell them the truth. It would destroy them, anyway they are happier thinking that Wukong is their mama Plus Wukong doesn't seem to have a problem with it..
mk: okay but why tell them that Monkey King is his mom?
Macaque:... I thought it would be funny at the time...
mk:[facepalm]
is far better than having to parent them. So he doesn't stop them at all.
Macaque prefers that SWK teach them basic things like reading and writing (because Sun Wukong knows how to read in this house) so he doesn't waste time on that and focuses on training them in fighting.
seeing them acting like children with him ect.
I think swk would love to see Rumble and Savage behave like children, well, almost, they're still scary shadow monkeys.
Tumblr media
Although I think he still considers them to be the most adorable things ever
even if they were the most intimidating and terrifying and I have proof
in the episode Cooking With Chang'e when the Bunny mech appears for the first time and who looks like this
Tumblr media
mk and pigsy are naturally scary
Tumblr media
while Sun Wukong just smiles and literally says "the cutest thing I ever saw"
The same thing happens later in the episode he makes these faces when the Bunny mech attacks them
Tumblr media Tumblr media
What I'm trying to say is that even if they were the scariest monsters he would still find them adorable.

I’ve been randomly consumed by the concept of an LMK Gravity Falls AU (thanks to YouTube comments) Here’s what I’ve got so far:
MK- Dipper
Mei- Mabel
Macaque- Stan
Wukong- Ford
Red Son- Pacifica
DBK and PIF- the Northwest parents
Spider Queen- Gideon (I’m so sorry Queen 😔 but you do both build a mech and serve the main antagonist before turning against them and also exist mostly as a minor annoyance aside from your one big moment)
LBD- Bill
Sandy, Tang, and Pigsy all kind of vaguely fulfill the concept of Soos, Wendy, and Stan but not so much in a story manner
-MK finds the staff (which had been left behind much like the Journals, except Macaque left it where it was because he couldn’t lift it) and unlocks his powers in messy and chaotic ways so he and Mei train on FFM with Macaque
-Macaque is pretending to be the Monkey King, claiming he “started going by Mac around mortals, might be easier for all of us if you called me that too”
-MK and Mei get into various demon-related shenanigans thanks to MK being Monkey King’s successor. Macaque himself rarely shows up to help with those unless they’re in actual danger because he doesn’t want it getting out that the Monkey King is missing and that the Six-Eared Macaque is impersonating him
-Macaque: “I can’t lift the staff or use my Monkey King powers anymore because I passed them on to you. Heh, it’s okay, gold never was my color anyway”
-he and Wukong had their big falling out under the mountain, and after that, they didn’t see each other for ages. LBD grabbed a hold on Wukong’s mind during a thoughtless, impulsive move of his, and while she can’t quite possess him without her full power, she can feed his negative emotions and whisper thoughts into his head. He knows this and calls out to Macaque for help with “a curse” without explaining why (as usual)
-Macaque, the simp he is, arrives to help and immediately gets met with an LBDified angry Wukong ready to kill him. Mac, confused and upset, can’t keep up with a full-powered not-holding-back Wukong, and loses his eye. He panickedly pulls him into a shadow portal that he can’t control because his powers are going haywire with his panic and fear. He’s been dreading Wukong’s return, but in recent years, he’s gotten concerned and been trying to locate him because if Wukong hasn’t returned after this long, could he be… gone?
-Wukong chooses to spend time hunting down information on how to end LBD instead of returning, and he gathers the rings of Samadhi. He returns to FFM where he senses Mei (ya know, descendant of Ao Lie and all that), only to find Macaque fighting with a strange kid filled with Wukong’s own glowing light and power. Immediately assuming the worst, he jumps into the “fight” to stop it
-Mac is terrified, and Wukong is just terribly confused because he doesn’t know why he’s THAT afraid of him, the two haven’t even seen each other since their big argument… right?
-MK and Mei jump in to protect Mac and Wukong is, again, terribly confused
-MK: “Who the heck are you?”
Wukong: “Uh… I’m the Monkey King. You have my powers, don’t you know who I am??”
MK: “What? Nah, Mac’s the Monkey King”
(Macaque is very stealthily trying to escape)
Wukong, just befuddled: “Wh— no, I’m the Monkey King. Indisputably. Always have been.”
Mei, who was a little suspicious anyway but still liked Mac: “Prove it. Pick up MK’s staff.”
Wukong: (smirking) “Easy.” (It is in fact very easy) “See, kiddo?”
MK: (jaw-dropped, turning to Mac, who suddenly looks very guilty) “You LIED TO ME??”
Mac, rubbing the back of his neck: “Well—“
MK: “Dammit, I should’ve known Mac didn’t make any sense as a nickname. If you’re not Monkey King, who even are you??”
Wukong, before Mac can say anything: “His name is Macaque. Well, the Six-Eared Macaque is his full name, but— he’s definitely not the Monkey King. He’s a trickster, but,” (baring his teeth) “I never thought he’d stoop to stealing my identity.” (He looks at Macaque, who’s frozen) “Lazy identity theft, at that. What the hell have you been doing with my name, Macaque? Dammit, it’s been YEARS. How petty can you GET?!”
Macaque, finding his voice to be angry: “PETTY?! You TOOK MY EYE!”
-Wukong is, again, as always, confused because he would remember doing that… right? And Mac doesn’t elaborate and they continue bickering (with escalation) until Mei and MK break it up and explain what Macaque has been doing with them and how he hasn’t done anything evil and has, in fact, only been good
-Wukong settles down and decides he wants claim on training his successor which sparks an argument until they agree to compromise. Wukong, as typical, doesn’t tell anyone about the Samadhi fire. They end up bickering a lot during training
-LBD finds them anyway and starts the ritual and kidnaps Mei
-after getting Mei back, they have to all work together to beat her using the Samadhi fire, and they end up having to use it on her while she’s inside of a vessel that isn’t the child she was possessing (because no children murder). Macaque makes the sacrifice in Wukong’s place
-I’m not sure how it ends, but Macaque does come back :))
-the end, it’s 3:30AM and I have many more thoughts but am so so eepy

Shadow King au
This is before the whole spider queen thing and I’ve been thinking about this for so long and I think Ive been too cruel towards Xiaotian…let’s change that shall we?
——
Sitting next to his father as he watched the generals play and help with the smaller monkeys, both old and young. He smiles and rested his head on his shoulder, he felt the king’s fur move as he felt a nuzzle on his head. Laughing at the exchange, Xiaotian hugged his father not wanting to let go. Not wanting to open his eyed. For he knows what it meant if he did.
For what he’s been doing and seeing weren’t real…this reality was all in his head….
It was
A dream
Everything that’s going on was a dream… and he hated the very knowledge of it.
His eyes opened and looked at his father’s tail on his arm, it made the little prince feel protected, his focus was directed at a monkey who somehow seemed different from the others. He was a tad taller than the other monkeys but shorter than his father, probably a tad shorter than himself.
“That one has been there for a while”
“He could need some help, dad. I’ll check up on him”
“Be careful, Xiaotian!”
Xiaotian walked up to strange monkey carefully, as he got closer the little one looked similar to someone…he couldn’t think of anyone. It wasn’t Mei nor Red Son, CERTAINLY not the other Pilgrims but then who?
The small monkey smiles and looked at the young prince.
“Hey, uh bud…h-how are you?”
It was him…Sun Wukong….but tiny and his eyes were glowing a warm golden shimmer…
Silence filled the air with both young beings living in Flower Fruit Mountain….Uuuuntil
“AHHHHHHHH”
“AHHHHHHHH”
Both of them started yelling…
Well things are starting smoothly to say the least…
“DAAAAD! DAD! ITS WUKONG!!” Xiaotian yelled as he started to run back to his dad
“WHAT WAIT NO HOLD UP” Yelled the young king as he chased the young prince trying to reason with him.
They spent around 15-20 minutes in their little cat and mouse game until the prince realized that they were at a standstill. So he stopped running and stood firm to the king, whom he towers over easily.
“What are YOU doing here?!”
The young king placed his hands up and gave the boy some space
“Listen, this is going to sound weird but I’m not Wukong….I mean I AM Sun Wukong BUT not Sun Wukong who’s running away! Argh! This so complicated to explain!…”
The small king sat down out of frustration and looked towards the boy.
“Ok let me try this again…Im Wukong waay before he went crazy”
Xiaotian stopped and looked at him calmly now. He recognized his outfit…his father has it in a box inside his room. It was precious to him so Xiaotian knew never to touch them.
He wore a yellow top with a green scarf over his neck, red bottoms and a white belt to tighten everything up. Dark boots to complement the outfit.
“Listen I want to talk to you…about Wukong…a-about me? Argh its so confusing when you’re your older you voice of reason…”
The prince sat down next to the young king, seeing he has no intention in hurting him. Seeing Wukong struggle made him feel a bit bad.
“I got an idea…why don’t we you Mk here? It can help you see the differentiate between the two of you”
“But that’s your nickname…Mei gave it to you from that game-”
“Monkey Mech” Said at the same time both of them looked each other and laughed.
“How are you here if My dad gave me a seal?”
“Oh Liu’er is good at seals…but I’m better~ so I just opened and closed the seal like nothing happened…and besides Im not a threat so it’s not gonna hurt me”
Satisfied with the answer Xiaotian decided to sit close to the young king and started talking.
They talked about everything, about Flower Fruit Mountain, about their respective firends, about Macaque, and about their fears.
“No way, Sun Wukong, Great Sage Equal to Heaven is afraid of preforming in front of a crowed?!” Xiaotian laughed in disbelief as Mk, Monkey King, laughed on his back.
“I know I know! It doesn’t make sense!! Ahhh I haven’t laughed like that in over maybe a Millennia? Ahhh that was something!”
Xiaotian laughing filled the young king up with joy, he needed this. The boy away from his home and his father because of his stupid and selfish self. Sure it wasn’t him but his older self, in the young king’s ming he felt guilty and needed to take responsibility for it.
“Xiaotian? I want to apologize for what Wukong is doing…to you and your family…I want you to know that I did everything I could to stop him…I swear…I didn’t…I didn’t want you to get hurt…you’re just a cub and-” Mk said trying to hold his tears, he seen everything he heard everything but did nothing, COULDN’T do anything. With his hands he wiped away his tears the most he could.
Xiaotian hugged the crying king and held him tight. Like his father did when he was crying.
“Hey hey its ok I know you did the most you could…And I appreciate it so much…you’re NOT Wukong, Mk…you’re the Monkey King…”
Mk wanted to say something but just kept crying, saying sorry and held the prince tightly. Feeling the prince’s tears, hearing his ‘I know, its ok, not your fault’ calmed the young king.
“I-Its almost morning…you’ll be waking up soon…”
“W-will I see you again?”
Mk froze and looked at the prince, who was pleading with his eyes. The young king smiled and cupped Xiaotian’s face.
“As long as you want me…I will visit…”
They gave one final hug as everything went white.
~~~~
“Mk? Kid?” Pigsy’s voice rang softly to MK’s ears, waking him up slowly. “It’s mornin’ kid you got the day off today…wanna go to over to Mei’s with Redson?”
Mk just nodded and sat up, he looked at the pilgrim. The pilgrim sighed and looked at the boy sadly.
“No Xiaotian…he…he still hasn’t called nor came by…”
Mk nodded layed back down facing away from Pigsy. Hurt, the pig demon placed a hand on the boy’s head and sighed.
“I’ll call Ao Lie and let him know you’re coming”
Xiaotian heard Pigsy get up and walk out the room. He look at the rising sun and remembered the words of Mk as he smiled
‘As long as you want me…I will visit…’
~~~~
“Where the hell were you?”
“Oh I thought you wanted me gone~”
“I do…but that doesn’t mean I can’t ask where you’ve been”
“I guess so” The young King smiled as he felt a strong weight off his chest…
Hehehe its so beautiful and I love it😩💕✨
I have another fix that I’m keeping cuz there is a comic to do on it, but yes the fact that wukong can get in MK mind it’s a thing, a thing that in the good (like this) or in the bad ( like the other fic I have) has to be stopped.
But this all intersection kinda spoilers us all “season 3” we will eventually get there😂

Clowning Around Excerpt
Clown and Shadow
Thought of toying around with an MK from one of my AUs meeting his canon counterpart. Canon Lego Monkie Kid universe will always be in Lego style cause I find a human being stuck in a world of Lego people and vice versa hilarious. I'll be giving each major character of each AU a nickname if I ever wrote them meeting their canon counterpart. Clowning Around MK's nickname will be LC or Little Clown.
A normal Lego person is half the height of an average human man. BTW, I been suffering some writer's block so I trying to clear it up. This takes place in S3 but there isn't any spoilers. Enjoy this conflict involving two Tumblr Sexymen. Yeah, Tricky is a Tumblr Sexyman, got in before Macaque even was a concept. You can say the clown is his senior. 😂
To the Six Eared Macaque, capturing Sun Wukong's little successor shouldn't have been so difficult. His previous unlocked powers were stolen by 'his' lady's Bone Mech like her destiny script said. Yet, it seems fate decided a slight change was in order.
An alternate version that looked completely out of place. So much taller, too 'roundish' and detailed in appearance…oh can't forget the fucking zombie clown companion. It didn't look unnatural like his partner but the being was way too round and had no arms just floating hands.
Macaque already knew LBD would want him to catch this otherworldly MK copy alongside the little zombie as well. No doubt be pissed about the new cog in her grand plan. The details didn't matter since his Smoke Monster would be enough.
Kid only defeated it last time because the Monkey King was there. But now he's powerless and by assumption, this second MK probably shared the same experience. Yet, nothing could prepare him for what came next. "It's Jester Time!"
A single shout from this strange version of his former student and everything just…glitched. The once blue sky now eaten by blood red as the light brown ground had decayed to a dead grey. But the biggest change came when the little clown set ablaze this strange MK alongside itself in crimson fire.
With the flames soon splitting to pieces from the dance of a masked theatre clown mockery. Even the kid nearly fell on his ass seeing this stunt. Macaque could barely blink when a line flash onto his Smoke Monster. Shock and horror churn in his gut seeing the shadowy giant split in two like a banana peel. Spinning behind the head of the dying summon… is a cudgel.
Pure steel capped by clumpy gold on one side and muddle silver on the other, both sides engulfed by crimson fire in the shape of an Emergency Stop Sign. It spun back into the masked clown's welcoming long green rotten tail. The hairs on Macaque's neck rose upon the raspy distorted laughter rumbling behind the creature's monkey mask.
"Nice try, little Six! Your Smoke Monster went out like a fart in the wind!" His face hot red in fury as the original kid snickered. "Fart in the wind! I'm definitely using that from now on." Macaque called upon his shadow cudgel for any fear quickly became rage at the mockery.
The zombie performer however danced at the threat, his own cudgel expertly spun in the grasp of that rotten tail. "Oh little Six wants to play? Yay! Just know…" The twisted staff flung into the air like a boomerang, spiralling around the jester. Only when the smile on that bastardized mask spark red did the fusion snatch his cudgel.
'Danger', 'Error', 'Die', 'Suffer' and 'Weakling' flashed throughout the air in the form of glitching blood red text. The flaming Emergency Sign ends of the cudgel now point towards Macaque in equal challenge.
"Jester tends to break playmates."
Until next time folks, continue to thrive in the madness and I'll see you back at Megapolis.

14. With a possessed monkie kid? (Doesn't have to be my au, i just crave possession stuff rn fbsbfb)
Oh you gave me so much power. I have too much power. I had to write this ASAP before Friday, I did not want the idea I had to be tempered by what happens in the finale. Since this is supposed to be set a couple weeks after what could possibly happen. Spoilers if you haven’t read the summary for S2E10.
This may not be in your Possession AU, but it takes a little inspiration from it because I love it!
Warning: vaguely described injuries, blood. Reminder that I think Macaque can be severely hurt but is immortal to the point he can heal any injury.
Am I scaring you?
“Hey- don’t scream it’s just me- You guys seen MK around?”
Despite Macaque’s request, Pigsy and Tang continued to scream. It wasn’t surprising, really. It wasn’t every day that an enemy your friend/person you see as a son just revealed to you a couple weeks earlier had attacked him twice in ways that had left him pretty messed up and questioning his choices and abilities just pops their body from the shoulders up out of the shadows on your wall without warning. Doubly so when very shortly after learning all this that person does a heel face turn and joins your side without technically joining it against everyone’s will and is still kind of an asshole.
The immortal monkey needed to work on that last bit. Maybe he could upgrade from “asshole” to “jerk face” in the eyes of Team MK if he brought drinks. He didn’t really care though, he just wanted to make his own life easier. At least Wukong had been... somewhat open to letting him stick around, given MK convinced them to talk when they were too exhausted after the giant mech battle to actually fight each other, and that made their joint training sessions with MK much easier. That still took getting used to.
"Has MK been acting... off to you lately?" Macaque asked after Tang and Pigsy stopped screaming and levied him with unhappy glowers at the intrusion. One more note to add on the ‘things he should probably stop doing if people want to not hate him’ list, announcing himself better. "I know I'm kinda knew to this whole ‘technically not being a bad guy and caring a bit about other people’ thing and all but he seems..."
‘Not being a bad guy’. Nailed it.
"Dead inside?" Tang deadpanned. "Yeah, we kinda noticed."
“A little more blunt than I was gonna put it but yeah,” Macaque stepped out of the shadows fully, rubbing the back of his head awkwardly as Pigsy grabbed a wooden spoon and held it. A warning that he would not hesitate to chuck it at him at the first excuse he needed. “He’s been acting odd around both me and Wukong. Which, you know, given everything that happened I get it, but he hasn’t come to his last three training sessions at all.”
This, unlike everything else he had said, seemed to make the two men pause.
“What do you mean?” Tang asked, pushing his glasses up and looking at him oddly. “He’s been leaving for those on time like normal.”
“Ah, well, you see,” Macaque chose his next few words carefully. Being honest, truly honest without theatrics or planning in advance to help him, was a new undertaking for him so he stumbled through it. “The first time it happened Wukong astral projected to him and they talked and he seemed ok enough, like he just needed a break. The next time it happened I kinda... followed him? Just to make sure he was ok, no evil shadow business! He just kinda wandered downtown the entire time, looking like he was lost without being lost. If that makes sense. But yesterday he did the same thing so I did the same thing and I found him just kinda... sitting in front of the entrance to DBK’s old hideout?”
Instead of making the two men more concerned, this seemed to make them both deflate.
“Yeah...” Pigsy said softly, lowering the spoon just a bit. “He’s been doing that. We, uh... we had Mei follow him a couple times on deliveries because he was acting off. He did the sitting thing a few days ago too, just while he was on break or if he finished his deliveries early. He’s been doing that a lot lately, like he wants to get things done fast so he can do whatever he’s doing.”
“But he isn’t even doing anything!” Tang said, gripping his hair with one hand. “It’s like he’s just... sitting? Like he just wants to be alone maybe? Sandy’s been talking to him, trying to help him with the cats and everything, but he thinks he needs to see his therapist instead... I think he’s right.”
Macaque frowned for a second before forcing a wide smile on his face. “I thought so. I think Sandy may have the right idea too, you should talk to him. OK BYE-E!”
Before the two men could react he fell backward into the shadows and dissipated. He had somewhere to be.
~
Just sitting... no. Macaque was sure of it now as he watched MK sitting in front of the hole that still had not been filled since DBK had left the Flaming Foundry, cloaked in shadow behind littered debris. His conversation with the Monkie Kid’s elders confirmed the immortal’s suspicions.
MK was waiting for something.
And that meant something was deeply wrong.
He hadn’t lied to the duo in the noodle shop, but he hadn’t told them the full truth either. Macaque had been following MK for the last week, already knew about Mei himself, partly out of curiosity at first but also out of Wukong’s own insistence. He was worried for his successor and knew that Macaque could keep a quieter eye on him than he ever could, and Wukong... Wukong and MK, despite their renewed training, were not on the best of terms right then. Not after he learned what the vacation really was, not after he learned that his mentor knew about the White Bone Spirit the entire time. They were still close! Closer than MK was to Macaque when he trained him at least, just. Strained.
Watching his two teachers finally talk for once and work out what actually happened all those centuries ago, showing that Wukong wasn’t just an unflappable hero but a person who made mistakes and had worked to better himself and would continue to do so because he was a person, probably softened that a bit. He was still upset but much less so in the week after the defeat... but this last week it was like all that had been undone too quickly. It started slowly, but after four days it was like they were back to the day he learned the truth but so much worse.
For the last three days MK was so quiet, reserved, completely unlike the loud and excited guy Macaque knew and like he just wanted to be left alone to sit and not interact with anyone. Tang said he was acting like he was “dead inside”.
That... wasn’t an entirely incorrect descriptor. It was like he was hollow and just going about the motions. Or like he had closed off everything inside of himself for some reason.
Wukong was terrified. He’d been talking to MK every day he didn’t come to the island to train via astral projection, and Macaque had just watched another conversation between the two end half an hour earlier. Macaque tried the same thing but didn’t get nearly as far as Wukong had been, and talking to him like this seemed to make him less likely to just up and leave (the few times Wukong had just come to MK instead made it clear how uncomfortable he had been, ending the conversations with a quick jump from the staff before Wukong could convince him to stay, so they decided to go with what made him more comfortable to find out what was happening).
So that was how they operated. Macaque watched MK. Made sure he was at least physically ok. Wukong talked to MK, didn’t force him to come to the island and wouldn’t show up unannounced. But despite them communicating more than they ever had it was like he was telling Wukong less than he ever had before. The one thing they didn’t tell him was what Macaque was doing.
“Am I scaring you?” MK suddenly said, loud enough for only Macaque to hear. His tone was... wrong. “You’re not nearly as sneaky as you think you are, Six-Ear.”
“What?” Macaque shot up and out of the shadows, eyes wide. MK had never called him that before.
The man before him stood, back to him and headband and coat oddly still in the blowing wind.
And then he jumped.
“MK!” Macaque reacted without thinking, diving down the hole after his Wukong’s student. He knew that he would be just fine, he could handle being thrown into a mountain so he could handle jumping down a giant hole, but the sight was too sudden and horrific for him to remember that at the moment.
Except he wasn’t there. When Macaque landed, the crash of his boots hitting the rocky ground echoing through the artificial cavern, he was alone.
Something was even more deeply wrong than he could have ever imagined.
“MK! Kid! Kiddo!?” He called out, all six of his ears out to catch any hint of movement. “Come on, you told me off for calling you Kiddo just last week, get angry at me so I know you’re ok! Tell me you’re a Monkey Man or something!” Macaque tried to keep his tone light, words lighter with an awkward laugh at the end of his sentences, but it only served to make the sinking feeling in his stomach worse. The opposite effect he wanted to accomplish. “Say something damn it!”
Silence. Everything was... silent. The only thing Macaque could hear was his own breathing, his own heartbeat, the rushing of blood in his ears... but nothing else.
Then a laugh. Low and soft and wrong and Macaque’s eyes widened as he realized his mistake.
He knew that laugh.
He also knew the feeling of the staff. He felt it during their first battle, when MK pulled every ounce of lingering power to defeat him. He felt it during that climactic encounter with Wukong, when his eye was damaged beyond repair.
He felt it now, as it jutted through his stomach without warning. Covered in blood.
Huh... that was kind of new, actually. He hadn’t felt a new sensation like that in so long.
The staff was pulled back and out of him quickly, driving him to his feet as he held the new wound and listened and nearly imperceptible footsteps made their way around him. How had he not heard... no. No he knew now. Now it was obvious what had happened.
Why did his wound burn like that? Why couldn’t he stand? He should be able to move, he wasn’t this weak!
“He beat you,” He groaned out, coughing as he tried to stay upright on his knees. “You should be-”
“Dead?” MK asked, voice his own but tone completely different. The black on his shoes were blue. As Macaque looked up he could see most of the color on his outfit had faded to white with blue accents. His eyes, the only think about him physically to be different, a brilliant blue to match. His headband was gone from around his head, instead used to help slick his hair back and out of his face. “How can you kill what already isn’t alive? No, I just waited in this body until I was able to influence him enough to make him... compliant. Much easier that way, actually.”
Either his vision went fuzzy or the world around them did, MK moving closer at a speed that shouldn’t be possible. His hands were grasping Macaque’s scarf tightly... this felt far too familiar.
“If you had been the dragon girl or anyone else I might have just killed you, you know,” MK’s voice said as he tilted his head to the side, an almost playful smile on his face. “But this is much more fun, and preferable. You can relay the message for me, once the poison I coated the staff in wears off and you heal anyway.”
Macaque was dropped unceremoniously onto his back, letting out an agonized yelp as he hit the ground. MK stomped on his wound, earning another scream.
“By then myself and this body will be long gone,” MK chuckled, stepping over Macaque completely to walk further into the foundry. “I must thank you, you played into my hands so much better than I ever planned on. Getting you all to work together to ‘beat me’ was just far too easy.” He stopped, turning to smirk at the immortal shuddering on the ground.
“I haven’t had a body this powerful in centuries,” the White Bone Spirit said with a laugh before vanishing in a fuzz of his vision and a wisp of cold air.

A Flower in the Emperors Palace
Chapter 27
A Kindness
Commission by @dannydarzuski
Ao Guang sat on his throne. His wife had long since gone to bed. Which was good because she had been doing nothing but crying lately. She was so concerned for Ming Yue that she had become depressed. To be completely honest he too had been sad to see her stuck within that dungeon of a mountain.
The dragon king of the east sea sighed richly and sat back. Trying his best to at least attempt to think of a way to cheer up his wife.
He sighed as he stood up from his throne. The guards bowed to him as he walked toward the bath house. No use in trying, his wife wouldn’t settle down till Ming Yue was safe.
A few weeks before then a monkey came to the castle. They had expected it. They had been told to stay within their kingdoms till Macaque ordered them to arrive. Of course gifts were to be given to their new emperor. When they showed up with 50 sea dragon maids and lots of tropical fish to give to him. Of course they were all scared, but the only reason why his wife had gone was to see Ming Yue. She even risked asking the new emperor how she was doing. Of course Macaque told her it was none of her concern anymore.
Ever since then his wife has done nothing but pout.
Guang let his robe drop to the floor and he stepped into the waters and sighed.
“Only if there were a way we could get Ming Yue away from him.” He leaned back and jumped, seeing red eyes staring down at him. The hair around the eyes had become singed and were as dark as night. Honestly to him it looked like the monkey wore a mask.
“Good to know you’re still on our side.”
The dragon jumped up and turned around looking at Wukong. The monkey's clothing was charred, and blackened. Sweat stains along what used to be golden embroidery. Most of Wukongs wedding attire was either gone, burned, or in pieces along his body.
“Wukong!”
“Shut up! Not so loud Ao.” The emperor hissed, waving his arms to quiet the dragon. Wukong put his hands around the dragon's maw to stop him from talking.
“What…what are you doing here?” Ao Guang asked his once grand emperor.
“Trying to lay low while I think of a way to get to Ming Yue. We’re going to need my generals' help.” the emperor asked as he pushed himself back and ran his fingers over his face. He looked around and then splashed water onto his face.
“Whatever you need Wukong. But…I hate to tell you, some of your generals turned.” Wukong’s heart skipped a beat as he turned to look at the dragon.
“Then we’ll save the ones worth saving.” Wukong walked toward the back of the shower rooms and came back wearing white robes and slippers. At least it was something more than just whatever was left of his wedding attire. Smelling like he just fell into a bonfire wasn’t ideal either. “Lets go…”
Ao Guang followed Wukong and shook his head as he did. He had no idea what this monkey had planned.
“And how do you propose we even get there? We don’t even know where…”
“Well first we’re going to go save my family. My mother and brothers are being held captive in the island prison. I dare think of how they’re handling it. I know the generals would survive, but my mother…” He growled and turned to the dragon emperor who held up his hands, but then a smile spread across his face.
“I know just the thing!” He literally took Wukong's hand and started to walk. When this emperor was super excited he forgot who outranked whom.
“Ao Guang…where are you taking me…” They both stopped to see a huge dragon mech looking down with its jaws opened wide. Upon further inspection you could see that the mouth was also an opening.
“Come on, get in!” Ao Guang said with the biggest smile on his face. This was a shiny new toy and he wanted the emperor to see just how awesome it was.

The guard yawned and scratched his bum. He had been on duty for close to ten hours now. It should be about time for someone to relieve him soon. He picked up his cup and downed the rest of the wine and sighed. He heard soft snoring from the people in the cell behind him. He turned to look inside. Once again the Weiss was holding Meer up in a bridal hold. She was an old monkey and the guard knew they saw her as a mother. Even Macaque did at some point. Weiss would stand there till she woke up. The old monkey's head rested against his chest. The bloodied lip he himself had given her because she told him she wished she could have something cold. She got whatever he gave her.
Weiss looked up and through the bars at the monkey. The growl that told the guard that Weiss had a promise to keep. He would hold his hands around his neck till his legs stopped shaking. The thought itself made the guard turn away and stand back in his usual spot.
He heard footsteps and looked up just as they heard a loud thump, loud yelling then a soft scraping noise.
Weiss turned around to shield Meer from what dangers might be coming.
What came through the door was none other than his brother Wukong.
Weiss tried to talk, but nothing seemed to come out. He lightly shook Meer and looked down at the tired old female monkey.
“Meer…Wukong…” Meer slowly turned to look at the one she once called son. The smile on her face, and the tears that came down her cheeks as she climbed out of Weisses arms.
“I knew you were still alive. I knew he couldn’t kill you.” Meer’s breath came at a wheeze. She was sick and Wukong could tell. He looked over his shoulder at Ao Guang who waved.
“Come on Wukong…we have to get them somewhere safe. I dare say Lady Meer will need a warm place to stay. She looks at death's door.” He bowed to her respectfully.
“You do look like you were beat up a bit.” Wukong took her arm and pulled her over his shoulder and picked her up.
“It was that one.” Meer gestured to the guard. The tied up guard growled and thrashed around trying to get to them. His prisoners were making a getaway.
“I have a promise to keep.” Weiss growled, grabbing the guard by the throat and holding him up.
“No time Weiss…” Meer called out. Weiss growled and dropped the writhing guard.
“Lucky son of a bitch.” Weiss growled as he followed Wukong and Ao Guang out of the prison.
“How do you plan on us getting off this island?” Weiss asked as they climbed out of the bottom level door. There was no need for guards out there, if anyone wished to swim the shark infested waters it was a death sentence. “I hope you don’t expect Mom to go into that.” He pointed to the frothing waters.
“Not in the least bit.” Ao Guang held up a hand.
“Uh…you gonna…fly us out?” Weiss asked.
“Patience Weiss…” Wukong growled out running his fingers over his mothers arms trying to keep her warm in the winds.
Out of the water it jumped. A large mechanical dragon with bright eyes glared down at them.
“Alright get in.” The dragon led the way.
Once inside and strapped in, Wukong was finally able to look over them.
“So you were the only one?” Wukong asked, looking slightly troubled. “Did the others hate me so?”
He felt someone's hand over his. He looked up at Meer.
“Do you think so less of your generals, your brothers? Of course they thought the universe of you. They left pretending to be one of Macaque's generals.” Meer sighed this was beginning to take much more effort.
“Wukong, it was decided that I stay with Mom, and the others stay to protect our Empress.” That made more sense.
“Where's Ming Yue? Where is my love?” He looked at Meer who closed her eyes and shook her head. She dared not answer his question.
“She was held captive within Flower Fruit Mountain. I heard of a wedding to be planned. One between Macaque and her.”
Wukong stood up and glared down at Weiss like it was he who proposed such an idea.
“Calm down your majesty. We’ve also got wind of her being broken out of her prison by our brothers.”
The huge monster of a dragon landed on land and Ao Guang turned to look at his old friend.
“Wukong?” Wukong held up his hand.
“Do you know where she is?” Wukong asked. Weiss shook his head.
“I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but I’ve been in a prison…I only hear what's said outside the doors.” Weiss shrugged his shoulders and chuckled looking around at Meer who looked ready to fall asleep.
“I’m…I’m going to go get some fresh air. She needs food, and sleep.” Wukong turned and walked out of the mech.
“He’s going to be…so pissed off if something happens to her.” Weiss looked up at the dragon emperor.
