Clown and Shadow

Thought of toying around with an MK from one of my AUs meeting his canon counterpart. Canon Lego Monkie Kid universe will always be in Lego style cause I find a human being stuck in a world of Lego people and vice versa hilarious. I'll be giving each major character of each AU a nickname if I ever wrote them meeting their canon counterpart. Clowning Around MK's nickname will be LC or Little Clown.

A normal Lego person is half the height of an average human man. BTW, I been suffering some writer's block so I trying to clear it up. This takes place in S3 but there isn't any spoilers. Enjoy this conflict involving two Tumblr Sexymen. Yeah, Tricky is a Tumblr Sexyman, got in before Macaque even was a concept. You can say the clown is his senior. 😂

To the Six Eared Macaque, capturing Sun Wukong's little successor shouldn't have been so difficult. His previous unlocked powers were stolen by 'his' lady's Bone Mech like her destiny script said. Yet, it seems fate decided a slight change was in order.

An alternate version that looked completely out of place. So much taller, too 'roundish' and detailed in appearance…oh can't forget the fucking zombie clown companion. It didn't look unnatural like his partner but the being was way too round and had no arms just floating hands.

Macaque already knew LBD would want him to catch this otherworldly MK copy alongside the little zombie as well. No doubt be pissed about the new cog in her grand plan. The details didn't matter since his Smoke Monster would be enough.

Kid only defeated it last time because the Monkey King was there. But now he's powerless and by assumption, this second MK probably shared the same experience. Yet, nothing could prepare him for what came next. "It's Jester Time!"

A single shout from this strange version of his former student and everything just…glitched. The once blue sky now eaten by blood red as the light brown ground had decayed to a dead grey. But the biggest change came when the little clown set ablaze this strange MK alongside itself in crimson fire.

With the flames soon splitting to pieces from the dance of a masked theatre clown mockery. Even the kid nearly fell on his ass seeing this stunt. Macaque could barely blink when a line flash onto his Smoke Monster. Shock and horror churn in his gut seeing the shadowy giant split in two like a banana peel. Spinning behind the head of the dying summon… is a cudgel.

Pure steel capped by clumpy gold on one side and muddle silver on the other, both sides engulfed by crimson fire in the shape of an Emergency Stop Sign. It spun back into the masked clown's welcoming long green rotten tail. The hairs on Macaque's neck rose upon the raspy distorted laughter rumbling behind the creature's monkey mask.

"Nice try, little Six! Your Smoke Monster went out like a fart in the wind!" His face hot red in fury as the original kid snickered. "Fart in the wind! I'm definitely using that from now on." Macaque called upon his shadow cudgel for any fear quickly became rage at the mockery.

The zombie performer however danced at the threat, his own cudgel expertly spun in the grasp of that rotten tail. "Oh little Six wants to play? Yay! Just know…" The twisted staff flung into the air like a boomerang, spiralling around the jester. Only when the smile on that bastardized mask spark red did the fusion snatch his cudgel.

'Danger', 'Error', 'Die', 'Suffer' and 'Weakling' flashed throughout the air in the form of glitching blood red text. The flaming Emergency Sign ends of the cudgel now point towards Macaque in equal challenge.

"Jester tends to break playmates."

Au where Shanks and Buggy became co-captains together.

Their crew is called the Red Pirates, both for Shanks' red hair and Buggy's red nose. Even though they didn't have their falling out, they're still emotionally constipated about each other and having been pining will-they-won't-they style for 20 years while somehow not realising the other feels the same.

They are best friends, they are co-captains, they are partners, they are boyfriends, they are married, they are in some kind of intimate relationship and both want to define their relationship as more but are too scared of ruining the careful balance that their strange friendship rivalry evolved into after all these years.

The moral of the story is change is hard but ultimately good and these old men need to stop pining and start fucking before their exasperated crew actually murder their self-doubting asses.

reko takes ranger's role in this au, so is one of two floormasters on 3F. the other floormaster is alice, taking the role of safalin (prepare for lots of yabusame sadness). these two have a very unhealthy dynamic.

reko has a strong resentment towards alice, with their main conflict arising over the fact that he is human and she is not, despite her being 'better' than him in every sense of the word. this is to say she is more strong-willed, more confident, and overall far better at her purpose (to help run the death game) than he is. reko values herself and alice in terms of usefulness to asu naro, making alice's attitude of defiance even more confusing to her.

reko has imprisoned alice in a way, making it impossible for him to go against what she wants (this will make more sense with his design so bare with me). reko essentially controls 3F, with alice just being there to support her from the shadows (sound familiar..?)

as for how reko acts, think samurai yaiba reko from alice's minisode, except more intense. reko has the attitude of resenting everyone around her, but especially the 'weaker' humans. this stems from her desire to be human, as she views them being weak as them wasting their opportunity.

In the Buggy in Wonderland AU, If Doflamingo met Buggy when he was younger, does that also mean that Rosinante also met Buggy when he was younger? If so, does he have any positive thoughts about Buggy? What about Rosinante's thoughts on Shanks feelings/actions toward Buggy? Is he okay with it or does he think that something is a little off?

Yeah all four of them played some flamingo croquet together when they were younger (rip Rosi tho. The flamingo mallets kept acting up whenever he's around)

He's fairly neutral towards Buggy but doesn't think much abt him since he tries not to be seen associating too much with Shanks and antthing related to him because he doesn't want to risk Doffy figuring things out

He does find Shanks' obssession a little,, strange but he understands. Shanks agreed to Rosi's plans just so he could have more power and people to create a way to reach Buggy's world because he wants to meet Buggy again. He's still a much better option than Doffy though— atleast Shanks is fairly amicable and would be good at ruling while Doffy is more likely to get Wonderland destroyed

Rosi's reasonings here are flawed though since one of his main reasons not to let Doffy become queen is that his brother won't have the citizens best interest in mind and would only prioritize himself and their "family"

And this AU's Shanks is essentially the same in that he only cares for trying to find Buggy and cares about a select few (Uta, Luffy, Beckman, etc) but atleast he tries to be a good ruler ?

Clowning Around AU

We'll be going over the AU behind this very picture on my other blog today. Just like with Wrathful Idol, MK will have a different identity to separate from his normal life AND will be on the Heaven's wanted list. Different reason for the last one.

Thanks to screwing with hell's reality too much in Madness Combat Expurgatation, Tricky the Clown is booted from his universe. Where did he end up? In the Lego Monkie Kid universe, with his trusty emergency sign and portable Improbability Drive. For anyone who doesn't know much about Madness Combat, the Improbability Drive is a device that could bend the rules of reality itself.

Not something you want in the hands of a homicidal clown and not something the Heavens want running around. Tricky is often referred to as an 'error' in the universe, an issue that is brought straight to the Jade Emperor. The ruler of the Heavens had gotten a boat load of complaints about this zombie clown bending reality.

Not wanting to deal with another Sun Wukong incident, a clown hunt begins as the objective is to either capture or kill Tricky. A task that's harder than it looks since no one knows how to combat the source of the zombie assassin's power which is the Improbability Drive. It only gets worse when they decide to melt Tricky in the Eight Trigram Furnace, the same furnace used against Sun Wukong.

Not only did the clown go to the safer part of the furnace but the Improbability Drive end up being fused completely to him. In short, the Heavens had accidentally made Tricky even more difficult to handle. Instead of calling upon Buddha to handle the zombie clown, like what had been done to Sun Wukong, the Jade Emperor decided to have Tricky sealed inside a medicine pill.

Original plan was to transport this pill into the Underworld until they figured out how to truly get rid of Tricky. A few shortcuts were set up in the backroom of different stores throughout Megaphone for better access. Trouble strikes when the courier slips on a pill bottle, sending the container holding Tricky's pill airborne alongside taking out similar looking medicine bottles.

A caretaker for a children's hospital helps the courier pick up the bottles and be on their way. There's just one problem, the caretaker had taken the container holding Tricky. And the person they're caring for is a sick MK.

MK in this universe was born with a very poor immune system and fragile organs. A miracle that he made it to 7 years old despite battling an awful fever at the moment. Young Qi Xiaotian ends up taking the prison pill and is greeted to Tricky's spirit.

This is the first time the zombie clown has seen a child in a very long time. Even if he is an insane maniac, Tricky doesn't kill kids. Man got standards after all. So, the zombie clown decides to become MK's personal guardian and use the powers of the Improbability Drive to erase his host's illness.

From there, the two explore what they are now capable of. One such ability is to merge into a single entity they call Jester. (I will be drawing Jester btw.) With this, MK leaves the children's hospital and lives on his own. At the moment, Tricky cannot physically manifest into the world unless he possesses MK.

Upon agreement, the clown will only possess MK if the young man is badly injured whether physically/mentally/spiritually or another entity is trying to possess him. Tricky can be quite volatile when someone tries to mess with what's his. He calls MK 'Little Clown' and they have a decently healthy father-son relationship.

It doesn't take long for MK's Jester persona to soon become infamous earning the epithet: Hell Monkie. Something that will lead to this young man having his hands stained with blood at the ripe age of 9. Only a matter of time before multiple factions set their sights on him than just the Heavens.

I'll be going over Jester alongside more of the potential plot to this AU on a different page as this is already getting a bit long for a basis.

Honestly, I think Performer gets jealous of Lover. But that might be false. We don't know too much about the Performer archetype, unlike Lover and Agent who have such contrast to their uses for Razputin

that's true, he hasn't really gotten as much "screentime" as some of the other archetypes, has he?

i think he's definitely prone to occasional bouts of jealousy, but actually he's more likely to be jealous of the Agent! the Performer loves being the center of attention, so he can get snippy if the attention's not on him. the Agent definitely gets summoned the most often; he's the 'useful', 'dependable' archetype, so the Performer kinda sees him as competition.

then again... jealousy's something Raz has a pretty good handle on. he's used to being a team player and sharing the spotlight, both from his time in the circus and from working alongside others on missions. so, maybe there's another reason the two archetypes butt heads so much...?

...it's probably nothing.
