The one who would love to spend the rest of their life with me?”

Husband Hyunjin who drives you crazy when he’s just doing normal things like simply unbuttoning his polo, rolling up his sleeves, taking off his jacket showing his bodybuild especially when he wears a tanktop inside, brushing his bangs upward, dancing? It would add fuel to the fire when he kisses you like a man starved from your touch. 

Husband Hyunjin who brings you food and medicine when you get sick. He will probably take his day off from work depending on how fast your recovery is that it would take days for him to sit there and take care of you. The type to make sure that you won’t die since he would end up grieving so hard. “It’s just a mild flu, Hyunjin.” “Are you sure?” 

Husband Hyunjin who is loud and dramatic whenever he realizes he got betrayed, lost a game, or is just being dumb (lovingly). He and Jisung are a perfect match and you’re the one who actually gets in between. 

Husband Hyunjin who gets shy whenever you compliment him but sometimes he would feel a blast of confidence that he gives you a wink as a response and becomes flirty.

Husband Hyunjin who loves to make a fool of himself, vocabulary just consists of memes (you can blame Han and Felix for that) cringes at his own cuteness and regrets it later just to make you laugh. 

Husband Hyunjin who lets you play with his long hair. He loves it when you do pigtails. You often tease him that he looks like Boo from Monsters Inc. 

Husband Hyunjin whom Kkami wants to disown. 

Husband Hyunjin who tries his hardest to comfort you as best as he can whenever he sees you being vulnerable in trying times. Promised not to leave you alone until you feel better, crack a dad joke he got from Chan to lift the atmosphere (which is effective by the way) and take you to his arms, whispering how he is proud of you. 

Husband Hyunjin who made a playlist filled with songs that make him think about you, scream your vibe, and the ones that would portray his exact feelings. Sometimes he would write down lyrics about how lovesick and hopeless romantic he is. All songs and melodies are heavily inspired by you. 

Husband Hyunjin who loves to send you selfies, videos of him taken by the members that serve husband material, and voice messages whenever he’s abroad because he misses you so much that he cries himself to sleep and can’t wait to go home. It’s also necessary to send you short vlogs and pictures of sceneries of the places he went without you because of work and leave messages like, “This reminds me of you.” “It’s beautiful, isn’t it? Let’s visit this place together soon!” “I’m sure you’d like these souvenirs I got you!” “The food out here is great! Treat me here soon!” 

Husband Hyunjin whose love languages are words of affirmation, physical touch, gift-giving, quality time, and acts of service. 

Husband Hyunjin who loves to spoil you even if you tell him not to spend a lot of money on you but he won’t listen and insists on accepting them. 

Husband Hyunjin who doesn’t admit his mistakes during the first few minutes of the argument but later apologizes over and over again and promises never to do it again. He’s also the type that is hard to make up with but he can’t keep it up for hours and just cuddles you whispering “I’m sorry, I’ll do better.”

zhongli sighs inwardly, teeth biting off the chunk of chocolate and humming appreciatively as the taste flooded his tongue. this would pair well with that tea he just procured from guizhong, he muses silently. ignoring the two’s bickering, he scanned the area before his gaze settles on a familiar figure. at once, he turns his head slightly to address the two.

“quiet.”

the order in his voice makes them stop abruptly for a moment. ajax breaks into a whisper, but barely two words in the dark brown-haired boy hears his friend grunt, presumably from getting hit by his right-hand man. morax refocuses on the scene.

one moment, you're looking around like a timid mouse, and the next, with a swiftness that rivals xiao’s punches, slip something into a locker. or, well, more specifically, his locker. a second after, you walk away hurriedly.

he waits awhile before stalking towards the same spot to open the same door and reaches inside.

“…. oooohhh, i see now,” ajax hums and giggles like a lovestruck schoolgirl, “you don’t like like sweets, you just like the one who brought it for you!”

zhongli throws another glare, and he knows for sure that this one isn’t working because one - ajax only laughs louder, and two - he can feel his cheeks burn.

this time, there’s no order in his voice, and even xiao breaks into a small smile.

Something that you immediately noticed was the fact they never seemed to show their face; you couldn't blame them. You didn't either. Maybe they were just self-conscious about how they looked. Yeah, that was probably it.

you, unfortunately, knew that feeling all too well. You got enough shit about your body in the real world all the time so it was nice to have something that you weren't connected to. People could just see your art and not the person that made it. Was a nice change of things.

It made sense someone else would want something like that too.

Tumblr in my experience is different from a lot of other social media platforms as there is no real goal or purpose or competition in posting. You can pretty much just say or do or add whatever and if people like your vibes the follow you, and if they don't, they don't.

If you like certain topics or Fandoms (groups of people who enjoy a particular show, book, media, etc.) you can search for it and click "follow" on blogs dedicated to those things.

Whenever they post something, you can see it on your dashboard (your "feed" or "homepage") and decide to comment (add pictures or words) reply (say something without sharing the post with your followers) or reblog (share with your followers, so that anyone following you can see the post, with or without adding your own commentary.)

Beyond technical stuff, there are some cultural things you may want to know about.

If something you reblog has potentially upsetting content- violence, traumatic topics, nudity- its considered an act of courtesy to "tag" it. This is so your followers who specifically do not want to see those topics can use filters to make those posts invisible. This is handy for people with phobias, PTSD, or photosensitive epilepsy, but also for people who just don't like those things.

There are a lot of memes that will not make sense. That is because posts don't vanish when they get old, so anything that becomes a "meme" often gets referenced over and over again for years, sometimes actual decades. Posts like "do you like the color of the sky?", "Horse Plinko", "loss.jpeg", etc. are examples of this.

There is no algorithm that decides what you might like and shows you those things. You are in control of your own experience. If you see a lot of posts from people you don't like about things you don't want to see, you can block them and never see them again. They won't see you, either. It's like making friends- you can choose to follow whoever makes you happy and avoid whoever doesn't.

There is a bot problem. Bots are automated spam designed to look like other users. This is often "cute single women" type stuff, but can also be anonymous or generic fake blogs that send out a thousand identical messages that accuse you or others of wrongdoing, or just send out basic insults. They will never see your reply. They only exist to cause chaos. You can report and block them and are encouraged to do so.

There is a difference between "liking" and "reblogging". If you "like" something, it is added to an invisible list so you can go back and find it later. If you "reblog" something, your followers can see it too. Artists prefer reblogs over likes, because they put a lot of work into their art (or writing) and the only way they can reach a large audience is if lots of people share it. Artists who are trying to get commissions or develop a career depend on reblogs to continue making art.

Sometimes an update or change happens that alters the website without any warning and everyone whines about it and adapts. This happens every few months. It's kind of dumb and sometimes makes it worse but if you Google "tumblr 2012" you will see that it's actually been a slow march of improvement.

Something weird will happen on April fool's day. Sometimes this will affect the website layout.

You will not get many followers unless you engage with other users. This is a cafeteria and if you wanna eat alone you can.

If any of your posts go viral you will see it forever until you die and if it's about Beans you will live out the rest of your days getting messages like "Are you Bean Guy" so tread lightly

You will need to choose an icon and change the appearance of your blog or people will think you are a bot. (Side effect of the bot problem.)

Yes but with few conditions.

1. You credit me as an original creator. If it's a video you put the credits in the video, not in the description. If it's a post you put them in the post itself, not in the comments.

2. You do not put your watermark on my work/do not erase my watermark. You also don't colour it/don't "fix" it. It's my work and my work alone.

3. You do not change the dialogue/add phrases that weren't said by the characters. Again, it is my work, it's my interpretation and I will not tolerate you taking my work and changing it to your liking.

Can I make an AI bot of your character?

Hard no. Roleplay bots are almost always using public fanfiction without the consent of the authors, not paying for their hard work but using it for profit, it's theft and I'm not going to contribute to that. I'm already considering removing my own bots from Character AI, as ch.ai still doesn't tell the public how they're training their bots so we'll see about that.

Anything that is absolutely off the table when sending an ask?

For art pieces 90% of the time it's Paint Tool Sai 2, sometimes Photoshop and Krita. For animations, it's rather Toon Boom Premium or Krita.

My tablet is fucking 6 years old, Wacom something. They don't sell these anymore so I couldn't even find the model lmao.

Brushes - standard SAI brushes, watercolour for shading and brush for line art. If it's textured I use my custom one, you can create it yourself if you use SAI.

Oooo, good question, and thank you for the Ask!

It's kind of a dumb reason.

TL;DR We did, once upon a time, but no one saw us as two separate people, and we got some aggressive asks telling us to stop being weird, and so we quit signing off, and no one noticed or missed it.

So.... When we started this account (2012), we posted with tags like; Kate things, Ann stuff, and dynamic duo. But follows didn't seem to grasp that there were two of us. We even got weird anons saying things like pick a name and stick with it.

Sharing an account (that isn't running some kind of event) is really far from the norm, so a lot of people make us one person in their minds, and get weirded out when we do things that suggest otherwise.

Eventually, we just stopped signing in the tags. We often joke that we're two cats in a trench coat. And nobody seems to mind a talking trench coat, nor ask which cat spoke to them. And back in the day, none of our mutuals even noticed the change.

Which is completely fine with us. Seeing us as individuals isn't something that most people do in real life even. They use one name of, Kate-Ann, for us both so they don't have to remember which is which.

So, being seen as one or two people online makes no difference to us.

There are only two things that make not recognizing us as individuals an issue.

1. When someone wants to date one of us, but literally do not care which... This happens more than you'd guess, even by people we know fairly well. Just any sister will do. Doesn't matter. Like...babes... Seriously? 🙄

2. Authors who reach out to us in Asks/DMs, and say they're huge fans, or that name drop referred them to us, and want us to promote and/or read/critique their work. However, they refer to us in the singular, not the plural. Babycakes, you're not a fan, and name drop didn't refer you. What you are is sloppy. You didn't even bother reading our pinned/description to see we're a duo before you smashed the Ask. You just saw our name graffitied around in all the cemeteries we haunt, and went, oh, shit yeah, "she" got reach!

It's Tumblr; people follow for the art, writing, and memes, not necessarily to get to know anyone.

We suppose, if people wanted to have us sign our posts again, we could start up. You'd need to let us know. But it's also perfectly fine not wanting to look behind the curtain too; we're happy and having a great time being the same floating head.

Just know that, which ever one (or both) of us is interacting/posting, we both love our mutuals and their content. You get two smiles and laughs for the price of one reblog/like.

For anyone curious about what we're taking about, here you go!

I should take this time to say crash blew my mind, you were so right about the final scene being extremely similar to the end of the first f&f, to the point where my friend and I's reactions when we did that double feature were pretty much identical, it was so funny! We watched Crash first, and there was something about seeing that Miata finally get knocked off the highway, that was soooooooo... Like, I may be reading too much into this and I definitely don't understand the movie entirely yet, but MX-5 Miatas are one of the most personified cars out there because of their eye-like headlights and mouth-like vents, they literally look like 😃 it's so cute. Miatas are almost always portrayed as innocent, Friendly, and childlike, so to see the destruction of one (which the movie was def building up to), AND TO WATCH JAMES FUCK CATHERINE IN WRECKAGE , like it's such a good image to end on… it really drives home the irreparable effect being introduced to Vaughn's "world" had on them, like they basically went through the a fucked up version of the hero's journey and were left on the other side of the threshold not knowing how to cope, my jaw was on the floor!!! The unattainable fantasy of ultimate orgasm because of the resiliency of both cars AND human bodies, it was so good. "Maybe the next one, maybe the next one," still gives me shivers.

So watching F&F afterward was hilarious because my friend basically had the same reaction to its ending, that truck impact hit her real hard (she too wanted them to ugly fuck on the busted charger lol). I had told her that this was essentially the most blood we would ever see in the rest of the franchise which is not a lot, and we ended up having a whole conversation about comparing the fantasy set in place by both movies. The fantasy of F&F is essentially 1) the characters' inability to die/stay dead or get injured and 2) the seemingly omnipotent ability of cars to take down larger and larger vehicles, starting with 18-wheelers and progressing to yachts, trains, Humvees, planes, it's endless!! Whereas the fantasy in the world of Crash IS to die, to be scarred, marred, for every dent and scratch on your car to be mirrored on your skin until you're one and the same. It's the next evolution of man, to be melded with machine in a way that's gorey and sexual. Both works involve little family institutions, people who get it, people who have your back, and a fearless leader running the show. Where Dom Toretto literally can't die, or even lose, because it's in vin diesel's contract, Vaughn was fated to! What kind of example would he be setting for the others if he couldn't achieve the nirvana of dying on the toronto freeway.

“Miss Blackmoon!” called out a voice that Klynt did not recognize.

“Please do not be alarmed,” said Nyx.

“Sure, okay?” said Klynt, as an Elezen man rushed up to Nyx, and began peppering her with kisses, babbling between each kiss.

“My little petal!” he exclaimed. “My beautiful lovely doll,” he extolled. “My precious gem,” he gushed.

Nyx, for their part, just stood there. Klynt might have thought they looked uncomfortable, and had it been anyone else, she would have stepped in and grabbed the guy by the scruff by now to check in and perhaps say a few stern words as needed. However, that was the way Nyx always stood, with the facial expression Nyx always had, that was to say, none, and Klynt was pretty certain Nyx did not do or put up with anything Nyx did not want to.

So instead, she just stood off to one side, feeling a bit awkward.

Nyx eventually reached out and took the man by the chin, and gave him a single kiss in return. This was such a surprising thing that Klynt never could have guessed at in a thousand years that her brain stopped. Until that very moment she would not have guessed Nyx even cared. The man seemed pleased, all smiles, as he stepped back, taking both of Nyx’s hands in his own.

“Oh, I am so pleased to see you, my wonderful muse! I didn’t know you were back in the city!”

“Not for long. I am here on assignment. Speaking of. My companion, Sergeant Klynt Gohtawyn.”

Nyx stepped to one side and gestured at Klynt, and Klynt, still bewildered, gave the man a jaunty two-finger off the brow salute.

“A friend of yours?”

“Indeed. Our ends and means currently coincide.”

Klynt had also not been certain until just that moment that they were friends.

“Ah, if I may introduce myself, then,” said the man, bowing with a flourish and taking Klynt’s hand.

Klynt’s brain still had not began forward or any motion just yet, so she just stood their, dumbfounded and found dumb as he shook her hand. “Good woman Klynt Gohtawyn, I am Candeaux Vidalle, Eorzea’s finest connoisseur of confections, chocolates, candies, and other culinary curios of the sweet persuasion! My sister is a famously fast courier for the Immortal Flames who helps deliver a dramatically dynamic deluge of delicious desirable delights from around the realm to your dining domicile! It is a pleasure to meet you,” he said. He paused halfway through a handshake pump to trace the fingers of his off hand along the tendons of her wrist. “Oooh, such tendons! Strong. And with that slate coloration, and the scent of salt so strong - from Limsa, are you? Maelstrom, then? My, the things you must have seen on the sea!”

“He is the one that provides me with those dried and salted plums you are fond of,” supplied Nyx.

Well. They were friends, weren’t they, and somehow Klynt hadn’t fully allowed herself to notice. Klynt's brain shuddered back into motion. "Pleased to meet you... Candy Vidal?" she attempted. Elezen names and speech still eluded her. "Candeaux," the man corrected, but he winked at her. "Ah, but the utter delight in that all of Eorzea mispronounces it the same way! I could not have picked a finer name, wouldn't you agree? Well well, the pleasure is mine! Any friend of my elegant little lady is a friend of mine! May I show her the art we make sometime, my sweet?” he said the last to Nyx. “If you wish,” said Nyx.

“Oh, very good, very good! Well, I do not wish to keep either of you - I know the look of people about their business. Feel free to stop by my store any time, my salty seaworthy friend! I think we have a matter or two we might discuss. And will you be dropping by later, Miss Blackmoon?”

“Not soon. We are on mission. It is a very high priority.” “I understand, I understand. Well, take care of yourself! Ta ta!” the man said, before giving Nyx another half dozen hurried kisses and waving as he walked away.

Klynt just looked down at Nyx, bewildered, but Nyx was already walking off, and Klynt hurried to keep up. Fortunately, they were explaining as they went.

“We met in his candy store. He introduced me to a number of things when I indicated I was exploring as much flavor as possible. I believe he became enamored with me at that time. Now he gives me candy and dresses me up and makes paintings. He appreciates my ability to hold a pose.”

“…okay,” said Klynt, still feeling off balance and out of sorts by the entire exchange.

It always promised to be a strange sort of day with Nyx around, it seemed.

Karasawa Atraxae was the up and coming woman of the hour, the adventurer whose name was on everyone’s lips, possibly a sign of the rebirth of the heroes who had gone before and the maybe even the symbol of a brighter future for all. She was also, right this moment, interminably bored.

Another state dinner in Ul’dah, another evening spent with various merchants and up-and-comers attempting to get in her good graces, all of them jockeying to see how they could use this adventurer to their advantage.

It was all a bit of a farce, and she had little patience for being pawn or queen. But, she did want to make things easier for her friend. And so she accepted invites to these things from Lady Lilira, and tried to smile at the right times and not look like a glutton at the food trays and not just walk out to a balcony and take a dive for a breath of fresh pavement.

Fortunately, this night, Raubahn was here as well, dressed in his finest Immortal Flames uniform, bare chest flanked by metals and accolades and the fancy ropes and other decorations that declared him to be general, and worthy of that station. Many of the upper class of Ul’dah gave him a wide berth, which was perfect.

Atraxae sidled up to him. “General.” “Karasawa.”

She crossed her arms and leaned against the wall next to him. “Hate this,” she said, quietly enough that only he could hear.

He just snorted before taking another sip of his drink.

“Does nobody around here just say out and out what they want or need, or is it always just weird vague gestures at words I’m supposed to root for meaning out of like a pig in a sty?”

That was a figure of speech she’d picked up during a visit to the Silver Bazaar. It suited her. She liked the shape of it.

Raubahn gave a short laugh. “Aye, lass, that’s the way of things with these men and women. I don’t hardly trust any of them at their word because few of them are willing to give it in any straightforward manner. No, it’s the language of power. Vagaries you can always deny later, and few promises any of them are willing to commit to keeping.”

The two stood there for a bit, each watching the dignitaries walk back and forth, as merchants were making conversation half as much as they were making deals.

The part of her that tried to do right by Karasawa decided to bow out for the evening.

“Ya wanna scandalize every single last one of ‘em and get outta here?” she offered. And maybe also make sure she never got invited to one of these for at least a sennight.

“Don’t tempt me,” muttered Raubahn into his drink.

“No, seriously, this’ll be hilarious. You can pretend to yell at me about it after and ‘escort’ me outta here and we can both be gone just like that.”

He glanced sideways at her, clearly intrigued. “Dare I ask what you have in mind?” “Let me motorboat them tiddies.”

Raubahn blinked at her, lost. “I don’t know half those words, lass.” “Here, just… just lean over a bit, and do that flex thing you do sometimes to make your pecs look all big, I’ll handle the rest.”

Raubahn looked at her with a frown, but then sighed and shrugged, and set his drink down. He rolled his shoulders a bit, then clasped his hands in front of him, and flexed in a popular gladiatorial pose, showing off his impressive chest.

Atraxae winked at him, wrapping a hand around one of his arms. “Don’ forget to yell and be mad at me,” she said.

She then buried her face in the cleavage of his chest, and made the loudest most obnoxious wet noise while rubbing her face vigorusly back and forth, luxuriating in the feel of his muscles.

She felt Raubahn go stiff and his posture go tight, and his chest fair rumbled as he struggled to maintain his composure.

The room was silent, except for Atraxae making a terrible spectacle of herself.

Raubahn finally managed to half yell, half squeak - an impressive feat for a man whose voice was deep enough to drill for bedrock - at her.

“Alright that’s fair enough of that!” he said, before stopping, standing up straight, and then breathing in deep to manage a proper bellow while Atraxae looked up at him with the fakest saddest expression she could manage.

“Out with you!” he roared, and he grabbed her by the arm, and the room exploded into hushed whispered and scandalized gasps as he marched her out. Atraxae made eye contact with a few choice dignitaries on her way out, winking and blowing kisses, managing to save the last one for Lady Lilira herself, who looked halfway between shock and utter joy.

Raubahn continued to drag her, out past the doors, shutting them firmly behind them both and fake dragged her down the hallway and around two corners before he finally let go and turned to see if anyone had followed. Atraxae looked around as well, sweeping her gaze back and forth, and straining her hearing.

They were alone. The two looked at each other.

And then they both exploded into laughter. Boisterous, loud, joyful laughter that echoed off the stones and brought a little life back into her existence.

“By the gods, lass, you don’t do anything by half!” roared Raubahn. “Thal’s -balls- I’m not going to be able to show my face for a moon!”

“That’s the idea!” she said cheerfully, putting her hands on her hips and grinning over at him.

He jabbed a finger at her. “Alright, that one’s my fault, I should’ve known better, but never do that again.”

“You sure? I had fun, anyroad.” Raubahn spluttered, and Atraxae erupted into laughter again.

💘 mutual pining - zoissette and lyse

Their relationship was complicated, Zoissette and Lyse. Yda had been Zoissette’s first true friend amongst the Scions, in many ways. And with Papalymo as her mentor and as Yda’s ever present partner in arms, they had been close.

Papalymo’s death had sent them both spinning, and perhaps defined their relationship for the hard moons to come. Yda onto her new course, as Lyse, and Zoissette, as a woman who felt the world was falling apart faster than she could fight to keep it in one piece, but who had to keep going, keep it all from falling apart.

As Yda, she had always seemed so young to Zoissette. As Lyse, she blossomed into a woman, finally exceeding the limits she had placed on herself for so long, finally growing into the person that she was certain Papalymo had known she could always be all along. Heart and light, even in the dark. Especially in the dark.

And from Lyse's perspective, well. Zoissette was always so neat and organized with such a sharp mind and able to sound smart without also sounding like she was somehow better than you. Zoissette was somehow grounded in a way the other Scions frequently weren’t, and even though she obviously smarted in the wake of the revelation of the deception of identity, she managed to stay close, close enough to confide in. Doubts and fears, Zoissette was always willing to listen to her.

They fought side by side. They spent moons together. Zoissette had fought for her home not so long ago, and now here she was, no less willing to fight for Lyse’s. How could Lyse not admire that? How could Lyse not wish she could hold that feeling in a bottle, in her hand, and keep it with her forever? And how could Zoissette not feel something in return? Maybe it was the various wounds wishing to be filled by care, maybe it was the desire to talk with someone who might understand what it was to stand against and yet also for their home, maybe it was just hurt seeking comfort. It could not be, and so it never was. For both of them, just pain seeking solace.
