1. How did you get so good at drawing? And do you have any tips for someone who isn't?

1 - i practiced and fully finished a piece DAILY for at least 3 years, i used TONS of reference and was inspired by plenty of diffrent artists. And i also was very motivated on making "feezable" bodytypes rather than just realistic human ones! taking the furry concept of character design to its maximum capacity. I would say another thing that made me good is my constant desire to outdo myself and learn new styles of coloring and shading and lining and anatomy. My advice for getting better is trying, trying, trying! keeping an open mind and love for art, trying as much as you can passionately everyday. and keep in mind that you will suck at something before you're good at that something. 2 - depends on whats best for you tbh. some people like to be smothered, others embraced gently. 3 - i like making original stuff a LOT. i never wanted to just follow trends, but i realised i needed to have SOME appeal to my art, so on the nsfw i decided to make booby ocs. it kinda spanned out into it being its own semi organized thing on its own, rly i still express myself even on the facet of huge breasts. Also i never liked to half ass anything. so rather than making semi large breasts like the classic anime girl, i decided to go all the fuckin way. if the concept and appeal of these characters is that they have big boobs, i am going all the fucking way. breats bigger than head. (which ironicaly lowers mass appeal lmao. very few people are gonna wanna reblog huge tits.) on the sfw character front, (and generaly rly even booby) ive always been fond of characters that were combinations of multiple tropes and concepts at once, and still worked, easiest example is Agatha, shes a witch, a mom, goth, a killer, and sexy af; it was so fun creating her by combining a whooole buncha concepts and tropes n ideas; forming their own original thing! A lot of my sfw characters can be seen as those combinations too; one of my favorite side-passtimes is making a list of all characters that remind me of my own that i see out there. its very messy, and yet, very fun to do.

I honestly recomend anyone that has ocs, even if they dont share them and their details with the public (like i sure fuckin dont lol) to try doing stuff like this. its rly funny to have those "aha!" moments when you realise a character you love has stuff in common with a character you made. like YES jim hawkins DOES have a lot of daddy issues and is an angsty teen! add him to the list. lmao. thanks for the ask!

Weird question, but I've been trying to improve at diversity.

If Genesis and Aeron were in a different art style do you have any particular thoughts on what their noses and skin tones might look like? In the past I've tried to guess by referencing pictures of people in the regions they're "from" but the features of the people are really diverse.

In that computer meme I gave Genesis a warm skintone, kind of golden to complement his eyes and hair. Afro-Turks have always existed and his hair has some texture (I forget which again and search will not smile upon me) so for his nose I made it a little wide, rounded and upturned with a low bridge. Kind of a cute mischievous button nose without making it small. (His lips are still full. They look smaller because Genesis is pursing them, half suppressing a smirk.)

Aeron got cooler toned darker skin to contrast the hair, plus accidentally very textured hair because I really haven't nailed drawing their hairstyle yet. A longer more aquiline Arabic nose because it gave off an older, more elegant intimidating look. I get a feeling that despite causing unintentional chaos Aeron is kind of the defacto leader or at least the eldest/most powerful?

But pictures of Turkish people also show a more prominent rectangular nose that would also look really good on Genesis (the button nose might look a bit young on a dad), and the noses of Jordanian people aren't all as slim and exaggeratedly downturned as I made Aeron's.

Also completely random, but what are everybody's teeth like? (Even just the Galleria trio and Dorian.)

Sorry if this is inappropriate to ask, a loaded question, or puts you on the spot. You're free not to answer, or not have thought about it much.

I'm just thinking about art styles, realism, and improving on drawing non-white features. Because there are PoC characters in the VN community, and you can get a lot of character out of specific features.

Do I just like, pick a headcanon and stick to it, or draw it different each time? I guess sticking to semi-realistic cartoony I can just kind of fudge it and just barely suggest impressions of differing features.

These are demons and not tied to hard rules of appearance.

Plus I think Aeron would subtly shift their appearance if they noticed you trying to draw them, just to fuck with you. And Genesis changes bodies so many times nobody really knows what he looks like anymore, not even him.

There you go, that's it. My art isn't inconsistent. The demons are just trolling me 👍

my art style could and should be improved upon concerning facial features and hairstyles. i want to give pointers, but you also make a point that i hope resonates with other people: you can also do whatever the fuck you want.

do not erase skintone, do not erase what makes them who they are. but if you want to draw characters with different hairstyles, different facial features, different outfits, different body types, whatever, do it. but let the characters serve as a guideline. they all have, for one reason or another, changed their bodies over the years. maybe they're one way, maybe they're the other.

what matters to me is that you, to some degree, connected with the characters while drawing them. i put a little bit of myself into each of my ocs. that shouldn't stop at me.

so....do what you think fits. do whatever the hell you want, just as long as you're respectful in the process!

#29: Hime Kokoro (SHUT UP)  Idea: Beyond "Sin's Love Interest," I've got no clue anymore. Story: Year Zero

Oh, honey. Honey. I did you so dirty, girl. Not as dirty as Luris, certainly, but dirty. Or at least I think I did, because I cannot for the life of me remember what Hime was supposed to get up to. 

Well, for starters, what we see of her is that she's Sin's closest (and only seen) friend amongst Lord Gerardis' captains. Despite the fact that she gets a POV chapter, the chapter is more focused on their trip out to where Absolution was found than anything really involving establishing her as a character.  Regardless, I remember that she was obviously supposed to be the one legitimately nice person in the whole of the White Tower. 

Also I pretty fucking blatantly based her appearance on Orihime from Bleach. Teen Nost wasn't even trying to hide it, honestly. 

As for her role when our "heroes" get to the White Tower, I honestly can't remember. I don't remember if she was going to attempt to fight them in a sort of "I don't want to fight Sin, but I have to remain loyal" deal. I almost certainly didn't figure out what happens with her and Taris, what with them being identical twins. But like the rest of the heroes, she does survive and probably waits around for Sin to come back from his wandering the Earth in penance because that's what nice girls like her do. 

If I ever get around to The Rejiggering, beyond the obvious "giving her more agency and overall purpose," I definitely would want to put more emphasis on her "morals vs. duty" conundrum. And, you know...change her name.

#30: Absolution Idea: Mysterious genocidal tree man, also hella gay Story: Year Zero

At last, the guy I was most curious about how much his design would change now that I'm not just slapping a brown skin tone on an anime face, but am actually considering semi-realistic facial features. Still a work in progress, but we're getting there. 

Absolution is probably the one character in this whole story I don't see changing too terribly much outside of digging more into the nature of his being, or possibly making him even more eldritch. 

But yes, as stated numerous times through the other characters, Absolution is the mysterious man found in the mysterious glowing tree with the ability to create life from nothing. G finds him, plans to use him as part of a double team with Sin in his world domination plans, but Absolution decides "Nah, fuck that" and kills G when our heroes reach the top of the White Tower. See, for reasons I don't think I fully developed beyond "Wouldn't it be cool (and also kinda hawt)," Absolution was obsessed with Sin, or at least the bioweapon inside of him, and wanted to activate him and wipe out the entirety of the planet, leaving nothing but the two of them. He does a hell of a job at first, too, activating the Great Destroyer with a kiss, but Sin manages to contain the damage to just the Inner City. 

So, you know, RIP rich folk. 

Absolution's pretty upset that his husbando doesn't want to kill absolutely everything, but he figures, "Eh, if I smack you around a bit, you'll come to your senses and we can get to killing." That doesn't go well for him, and Sin kills him after a big dumb anime fight over the ruins of the Inner City.

As for the reworking, I mentioned before it'd probably be a more interesting idea if Sin and Absolution were both part of the same mysterious bioweapon plant race; it'd also certainly go a ways towards better establishing why Absolution's fixated on Sin beyond "I'm just a nihilist, I guess, lol." Beyond that, the damage would absolutely not be contained to just the IC. Everything needs to get fucked. Maybe our heroes survive, but ain't no winners with doomsday weapons around. I also see Sin and Absolution pulling a mutual kill, possibly with a cheeky little "they're regrowing somewhere else, maybe in Lacryma's ruins". Iunno.

#31: Luris Idea: Sexual assassin. That's unfortunately it. Story: Year Zero

At last, we get to probably my most unfortunate character, the culmination of the "Mostly Here to Be a Sexy Villain" trifecta alongside Mulore and Maria. Only this time, she actually has sex. Like, I'm not kidding when I say her whole character is probably the nadir of my teenage internalized misogyny and my adolescent notion of what made mature writing mature. Full disclosure.

Luris is the most trusted captain and bodyguard of G, and rumors abound they may have a little something going on behind the scenes; at least, Sin seems to think so.  Her specialty is sexpionage (and no, I didn't come up with that pormanteau) and assassination, and G so values her work that he even allows her to occasionally target Inner City civilians in order to keep her skills sharp.

Her primary role in the story comes down to one chapter. She manages to not only locate Sin in the Outer City, but to find the very rebel base itself. She presents herself as having defected from the White Tower after hearing about G leaving Sin for dead, and claims that she always loved Sin, but knew that he wouldn't choose her over "that prude Hime," so if she couldn't have his love, she wanted his hate instead. But from the first word, Sin doesn't buy it.  He allows her to start to get intimate with him, but only to get her into a vulnerable position on his bed so he can stab her to death. He makes sure to say some pretty goddamn terrible things about her to the microphone in her earring which he knows is feeding audio back to G.

And that's it. The sum totality of her character is "she's a black widow and then she fuckin' dies." And honestly, as much as I don't like mercy killing a character, in the rejiggered story, the best thing to do would probably be to cut her entirely. But I feel like Teen Nost did her too dirty to just take her out behind the shed, so I should really come up with something more substantial for her to get up to.

#32: Winter Idea: Shy little ice mage who has to fight her friends Story: Love Like Winter (based on the album "decemberunderground" by AFI)

Now here's a story I'd definitely like to revisit, even if it's fairly simplistic.  I totally should've drawn these next few characters before the Year Zero cast, since they predate them, but I didn't actually upload the one drawing I did of them to deviantART, so I forgot to include them until I'd already started the Year Zero kids. But whatever. 

So this is Winter, a teenage ice mage who lives in a hidden city housing the last of humanity. She and her best friends, the fire mage Summer and the shadow mage Silence, were training to become proper mages and join a monastic order dedicated to protecting the city from the demons which threatened them daily.

One day, the three of them learned of forbidden rituals which could unlock incredible magical power within the user, provided they 1) "survived" the process and 2) kept their sanity. Silence, being young and reckless, wondered why the monks wouldn't take them through this process; obviously, if all them went through the ritual, they'd have more than enough power to drive back the demons and reclaim the surface world. Winter was much more against the idea, for the obvious reason of "it tends to kill people," but Summer was on the fence about it. 

That was, until Silence managed to not only figure out what the ritual entailed, but to successfully complete it. Now imbued with powerful dark magic, she took to the surface and started cutting swathes through the demons with monsters of her own creation.

Seeing just how well she was tearing through their mortal enemies, Summer sought her out and asked her to take him through his own ritual. But while the two had managed to overcome hurdle one of the process, they hadn't completed hurdle two: the keeping of the sanity. And it wasn't long before Silence decided that because she was the one who was finally clearing the demons out, she should be in charge of the city instead of those dumbass monks. Summer decided since he owed Silence for this newfound power, he was along for the ride. 

Which left Winter with the unenviable job of having to kill the two of them. The monks now had their hands full with trying to stop both demon incursions and Silence and Summer, so they tasked Winter with tracking down and defeating her former friends, for who is the last person that they'd see coming? 

Well, despite her best efforts, this turns out to be a bad idea. Though Winter managed to break through Silence's ranks with her trainee abilities, between her lack of power and her hesitance to fight her friends, she couldn't stop Summer. Winter barely managed to escape and return to the order, where she came to the conclusion that she was unfortunately going to have to fight fire with fire (or fire with ICE, huh? HUH?!). She was going to have to go through the ritual herself. Initially, the monks were reluctant, but it quickly became apparent it was the only option they had. 

Thus, she finally learned what the process was: the ritual practitioner would be consumed by the element of their choice to the point of death. If they were truly attuned to this element, however, the element would reanimate them, allowing them to freely channel this power through their form. For Winter, this meant drowning herself in a frozen pool of water. Thankfully, the process worked, and she returned to Silence's tower ready to beat some ass.

Though still not completely ready, since there was another hang up: she was completely in love with Summer. Like any good teenage protagonist, she'd originally thought Summer was in love with Silence, but after the death ritual, she wasn't going to play that game anymore. She was going to beat Summer's ass, make him see reason, and confess her feelings. 

And she does all three in spectacular fashion, winning Summer over to her side and convincing him to help her fight Silence, since she was the strongest of the three even before the death ritual. The three have a hellacious battle, but by that time, Silence's sanity was so far gone that after wearing down her body, Winter and Summer had to infiltrate her mind in order to return her to sense. It's magic, you know how it is. 

Whether or not they manage to bring her back, however, has flip-flopped over the years. Initially, they did, and they convinced the monastic order to simply imprison rather than execute her. But later, I started to think that maybe she actively chose to stay locked within her own mind in a catatonic state out of penance, and would only come back when she felt she'd reflected enough on what she'd done. 

But at the very least, Winter and Summer get a relatively happy ending together.

Originally, Winter's superpowered mode was basically just standard aura-floating hair-glowy eyes stuff, but doing the redraw, I thought, "Wouldn't it be cooler if I incorporated the dying part more and made her look frostbitten?" I dunno how well that comes off, but y'know. I tried.

do you have any writing tips for ?intermediate? writers (been writing awhile, know basics but still feel like im missing something)? your fics are so so so AMAZING and i look up to you as a writing icon

first of all thank you so much??? that's literally so flattering omg??

also!! I actually have another ask I'm working on about my writing process specifically and i was going to write a bit about how i block out plot there, so I'll just do general advice here!!!!! I actually haven't been in an english class for about 5? years? (dropout club ✌) but i DO study theater and I borrow a lot of character techniques from there!

my first piece of advice is to enjoy what you're doing. my second is to know where you're going with it- I actually make up a lot as i go along and make last minute edits, but I tend to have an idea of the vague theme of the piece- if not when I start writing, at least before I post.

I'm a big fan of foreshadowing and recurring themes!!! idk I just think they're neat!! at the beginning of a story, I usually set out what themes I want to explore, and then pick out some specific imagery that I think fits in with that? (for example- you've got the right was coffee, rooftops, tending wounds, greed; therefore you and me was tv, memory, plants. and that was what I initially mapped out, the way I handled those changed and i added more throughout the stories. kattar shuffle, so far, is: cards, eyes, morality. spoilers.) I think having little bits of imagery that repeat semi-frequently throughout the story can really add to the overall theme and tone? (and they're good filler if you're stuck for descriptions or pacing.)

ummm hm. I try to be conscious of how I'm beginning my sentences? this is baby stuff but I sometimes rephrase things to get a little more variation. I also think repetition can be really useful if applied deliberately! I sort of. try to view my writing as being very like. sort of the characters' internal monologues? which I think helps with the flavor a little!!!

OOOH and. get a good soundtrack!! I curate my writing playlists VERY carefully and I usually end up listening to one/two songs for about an hour while I work on a specific scene, because you gotta have the Tone. you may have noticed from the fact I steal pretty much every title from a song (I'm bad at titles) that I rely on music quite a bit! I steal soundtracks from movies, tiktok, my parents. the music I listen usually makes me feel more confident about me carrying the tone of a scene which makes me feel better about my writing which! maybe makes it better who knows!

um! write poetry for a while! read poetry! im definitely very inspired by confessional poetry- I read a lot of plath when I was younger and now I read things like hes so masc and i thought we'd be famous and! I think poetry is hugely helpful!! good poets (particularly in "modern" or confessional poetry which isnt really constrained too much by traditional rhythm and therefore is a little closer to prose) are really excellent and condensing down a lot of emotions and ideas into a handful of lines. I dont think much has ever hit me as hard as "warm and human, then their pink light / bleeding and peeling".

be overdramatic and pretentious! push at reality. I dont CARE that chloroform cant gas a whole room full of people and that general anesthetics are hard to dose and potentially dangerous!!! i do not care about realistic amounts of alcohol or the timing of music! be wrong with confidence! most people won't mind as long as it doesn't conflict with the world of the story as a whole.

get a solid grasp on your characterization! I watch and read a lot of meta and also a lot of other fanfic, but at the same time I... dont entirely let other people's interpretations define my own? I think it's good to come to your own idea of how a character acts! (this is. for fanfic specifically but also! play with the characterization of your ocs, too! mine have gone through a lot of changes after I've received feedback from other people and adjusted/doubled down on their behaviour.)

I guess uh. the best thing I can say is to really devote yourself to a story! make a playlist. make a pinterest board. imagine amvs and other people's reactions!!! I. spend around four hours writing daily and SIGNIFICANTLY more time thinking about my current brainworms. I fall asleep listening to music and thinking of an amv I would make for kattar shuffle if I were. able to animate or draw consistently. the more you think of it, the more scenes or imagery pop up, and the more little snatches of dialogue and interactions you want occur to you. note these down!! I have a lot of notes that wont be relevant for chapters and chapters but I note them anyway and when I do get to write those scenes it's always so fun.

uh also. I recommend roleplaying. not even for fandoms theres a lot of servers you can join to play with OCs. roleplaying definitely made me a better writer. it's also definitely helped my characterization for fanfic.

anyway!!! that's all I can think of now I'm sorry!!!! tbh I. just vibrate with it really but i think all this stuff is what i find personally helpful!!!!! sorry this is so long!!!!

Why Do I Create?

Compulsion

I cannot stop creating.

In fact, I’ve tried--multiple times. There have been so many occasions on which the frustration and self-loathing associated with creative pursuits was psychologically crippling to the point where I did try and stop. But I never stopped inventing stories in my mind. I never stopped creating characters. I never stopped following artists I liked, basking in distant envy at the skills I believed I could never attain.

It has taken me a lifetime to really distill the true reason behind why I create. As much I would like to say that I’ve “always just loved drawing and expressing myself,” this simply wouldn’t be true nor an accurate representation of the relationship I have with art. At this point, I’m not sure if the word “passion” or “love” quite captures why I create. I would describe it more as a feverish need--a compulsion. I actually don’t even quite see myself as the “owner” of my works or ideas, but rather, as the vessel which serves them. Every ounce effort I put toward creative endeavors is a means of honing myself into a more suitable vehicle for delivering ideas into being.

For most of my life, I had an extremely pathological and maladaptive sense of self that resulted from nearly 26 years of physical and psychological abuse. It took me a long time to even recognize that what happened to me was in fact abuse. I used to shy away from the word because it seemed too self-pitying and dramatic. It still sometimes feels that way, despite the fact I objectively know that if anyone (let alone a parent) ever pulled a knife on me now, I would call the police without a second thought.

I won’t go too much into the details of what happened because it isn’t really worth delving into. But I was essentially raised as if I were an investment fund and not a person. My entire purpose was to be useful so my mother could stop having responsibilities of any kind. I was not raised with own personal well-being and future stability in mind. This meant that a non-lucrative career was unacceptable. My art was ever only appreciated in the context of bragging rights or winning awards. This of course, manifested in my relationship with creative pursuits.

Narcissism

My adolescent motivations for drawing were fueled mostly by pure, unadulterated narcissism.

I drew semi-seriously throughout high school. By that, I mean I quickly figured out what kinds of skills were considered impressive for that age group and did well at shows and competitions. I wanted to feel superior and adored at any cost, and while I embodied the external talking points of “being humble, always learning, etc.” deep down, I clung to the idea that I was better than everyone else. I couldn’t handle critique emotionally, despite acting receptive. I was completely consumed by the idea of being some kind of perfect, “talented” golden child.

I managed to get very good at copying photos and rendering, while neglecting all the skills that contribute to being able to design characters or draw from imagination. I didn’t really pursue art with any real level of personalized focus. I just liked feeling like I was better than people and knew more than the other kids. Honestly, every single aspect of my life revolved around this mentality.

I held onto the idea of “being good” as a trophy because that was the only mode of thought that my psyche could accept. It was easier to embrace narcissism and even just accept being a shallow social climber than to face the far more harrowing truth:

That I was afraid I’d never have the skills to manifest my ideas.

In fact, I talked myself into believing for ages that I didn’t care that much about my ideas. They would never amount to anything. And having self-indulgent, non-utilitarian attachments to my stories and OCs felt like a weakness. I needed to rationalize my own shortcomings with a guise of indifference.

Revererence

I stopped drawing for about seven years after high school. And even during high school, I didn’t do anything that remotely resembles the kind of ‘grind’ that I’ve put myself through the last 2.5 years. Frankly, I’m amazed I got as far as I did even with being a human copy machine that produced lifeless 1:1 images of candles. With each year I passed, I grew increasingly uncomfortable with the fact I always knew deep down--I just wasn’t that good. I mean, I was pretty good for a guy in high school. But my holistic sense of composition, invention, and execution was near non-existent. I went through a few attempts of returning to art, only to be so overwhelmed with my own incompetence that I would just go back to the “I don’t care that much about art” script I had gotten so good at conning myself into.

It was not until I had a complete mental breakdown due to my psychotic cunt of a mother threatening my safety and sanity that my long-con finally broke. I had a moment where I just accepted that I had no fundamentals, my skills were trash, and most of all--I was not okay with them being trash. From that point, I started desperately seeking out resources and practicing to improve. Receiving criticism (while I really appreciated it objectively) was psychologically devastating to me. Every single imperfection was a reminder of “lost time” and the years I had spent lying to myself.

It wasn’t until I discovered Loomis, Hampton, Draw-a-Box, Proko, and many other reputable art resources that I managed to start hitting the pavement and making the kind of gains I wanted. I drew sometimes for 12-16 hours a day even while I was homeless and living on a friend’s couch due to having to flee my home at the time.  Through all of this, I shed all my notions of “being talented” or needing to delude myself into feeling like I was good. No, I was dogshit and I needed to do something about. I think the biggest hurdle people face when trying to get good at anything is accepting that they are bad. You cannot improve until you fully and wholeheartedly accept that you have problems that need fixing.

I went from approaching things from a place of narcissism to a place of reverence. A lot of what instilled this change in me was observing people that I admire. Those that are highly competent (in any craft) tend to be realistic and humble about their shortcomings. The very process of attaining mastery forces you to realize that there is an infinite scale of improvement. This isn’t to say that people who are good can’t also get full of themselves. But at least among the individuals I gravitate towards, there is a general sense of reverence and genuine modesty. On the other hand, people who are mediocre frequently have very large egos. Unfortunately, there is a lot egotistical, irrational, whiny-bitch anti-progress behavior that is prevalent in art circles. I realized just how cancerous conceit and ego could be. It had destroyed my progress for years and I was watching complete hacks insist they were gods atop mount stupid. It was truly the Dunning-Krueger effect in action.

Many of the people I encountered in the art community early on were pretty mediocre and had a terrible sense of fundamentals. Again, this would be fine if they didn’t insist on acting like experts on the topic. (Plenty of people draw for fun and don’t care about being good and there is nothing wrong with purely pursuing something for leisure.) However, I unfortunately ran into quite a few extremely petty people had no idea of how to actually get good at anything, and were annoyed at the fact I had prioritized working on fundamentals. People that I engaged in good faith soon attempted to derail conversations and questions I had about technique and improvement. Crabs in a bucket bullshit, really.

Anyone knows me also knows that I have no tolerance for bullshit or “UwU bitches” making “it’s my style” excuses for being technically incompetent. (Which isn’t to say accuracy is always more important than style, but using “style” or “aesthetic” as an excuse for a lack of skill or competence is extremely common among mediocre artists). Likewise, I also encountered people who manifested narcissism in the opposite direction. The opposite of the “it’s muh style” camp were people who endlessly liked to talk about theoretical technical knowledge. Sometimes they were good at one skillset or another, but generally lack any kind of concept or actual artistic vision. It was like they had lost sight of expression goals in favor of shit talking and dropping advanced art vocabulary.

I realized that no amount of shit-talk, posturing, or external validation was going to make me good at art. I always knew that, but watching people descend into the abyss of self-sabotage just reminded me what was at stake. I would rather never “feel” like I was superior than run the risk of delusional overconfidence. Likewise, I broke out of the trap of thinking technical skill could somehow compensate for a lack of good ideas or artistic vision. Nothing matters more than the clarity of expression, and skill is but a conduit for said expression. I would rather feel eternally small and striving for a forlorn dream than run the risk of being 10 years down the road cranking out trashy, vapid content while thinking I’m some kind of omnipotent art god.

I draw because I cannot stop. It’s like being touched by fire that you cannot quell or erase. I work to improve because I want to depict my stories and characters with the finesse, nuance, and artistry that I admire in so many others. I truly feel there is no point in pursuing art seriously if you do not have a voice, a “vision” for why you create. Looking back, the motivation that kept me going through the hardest struggles was the desire to succeed in communicating my stories and concepts. I am but an acolyte eternally striving for even a brief glimpse of an ephemeral muse.

1. Do you believe in soul mates?

Not really, but kind of at the same time! I do believe you can meet the right people and get along with certain people very well

2. Whats your favorite genre of movies, T.V. shows, and anime?

Action is probably my most favourite! But, I enjoy a mix of action with other genres most of the time. A few of my other favs include sci-fi, supernatural and fantasy!

3. Are you optimistic or pessimistic?

People may say that I’m more of a pessimist, which may be true, but normally I think I am either that or in between. I try to look at what the likeliest/most realistic thing is to happen in a situation. But, when there’s a 50/50 outcome, most times I can be more pessimistic.

4. Is there a movie you can watch over, and over again and not get tired of.

I couldn’t watch any movie over and over again in a short period of time, I prefer to have watching one movie spread out to at least once a year. So I can’t say! If I watched a movie too often, I’d think I’d get bored of it for a long while.

5. If you could live in any other country than your own, what would it be?

One place I’d pick would be Japan, because a lot of my favourite things were made there, such as various anime and Pokemon! So it’d be easy to get merch lol, and touring places would be easier and super fun! Another potential place I’d choose would be France, because of all the interesting foods and places I’d be able to see and try everyday (plus, I take French class, so I know a bit more about France and can speak some French)! Europe in general is just super cool, I really want to visit any of these places someday in the future because I’ve never been to Europe or Japan!

6. If you could switch two fictional characters to eachothers universe, who would they be and why?

I don’t know my top choice but something random and interesting to me that just came up in my mind would be switching someone from Cuphead with someone from Dragon Ball XD Just because it would be very weird for both worlds, and it would be interesting to see how Cuphead or Goku would handle it! It’d also be interesting to see how power levels differ if they are allowed to keep their powers!

7. Do you believe in aliens or some other life form outside of Earth?

Meh, I’m neutral to this topic, I won’t believe in aliens until there is actual proof XD There are possibilites, since the universe is so large. Who knows...

8. What mythical creature do you wish actually existed?

Dragons, I love ‘em. They’re so cool, and I love drawing them too! If they were real, it would be interesting they come in all sorts of shapes and sizes, with different abilities (and I would hope some are friendly lol)

9. Whats the most pleasant sounding accent to you?

I don’t really know, I find all accents cool and special in their own ways! Does my own count, because it is what I am used to? Idk XD

10. Do collect anything like, figures, posters, or funko pops?

Yep! I have some anime figures, tho most are the $20 made in China ones on ebay lol (they’re decent quality XD). Lately I’ve been wanting to get some real ones, I have three legit ones so far! I do also have some Funko pops, I’m collecting all the Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance ones (I’ve got em all so far, waiting for new ones I guess)! I also collect Pokemon cards + stuffies!

Oh my god I love how you draw wings!! Can you give a mini tutorial? I’m trying to draw my own Skywing elf OC but I just s u c k at drawing wings quq

aa ofc!! im not great at explaining things but i really do love drawing wings so i’ll do my best!! (this is long as fuuuck so it’s going under a readmore)

so the trickiest thing about wings is, imo getting them to work with human anatomy in at least a semi-realistic way. bird wings connect like human arms do to our shoulders, and adding an extra shoulder to a human’s back can end up looking… weird. 

the way i do it is usually by extending that shoulder-like joint and turning it slightly to accomodate for a human’s anatomical structure and everything. (Basically, I pretend like there’s an arm coming from the shoulder blade and build the wing around that.)

I’m sure that was confusing so here’s me trying to explain it a little better:

Ok so now that the anatomy is out of the way, i’m still not great at feather placement on my own so i’ll usually look up real wings for reference (try to find one that’s in the same position as what you want, but it doesn’t have to be perfect. it’s just a guideline to where the feathers will go.) for this example, i’ll use this one:

so, let’s say we’ve already got our pose drawn out. the next thing to do is do a rough gestural of the wings using the method from before of imagining an arm back there. 

you’ll notice the wings are in a similar position to that bird photo. not exact, but similar. (another tip, see how the wings kind of mirror the person’s arms in that pose? i’ve found that in general, that makes wing poses feel more dynamic.)

Next step is the feathers! feathered wings tend to have 3+ layers of feathers. (i usually draw 3 or 4) their distribution usually looks something like this:

those “finger” feathers are the best to draw imo!!

now we can apply this to our drawing, using our gestural for posing, and our bird photo for reference.

Hello! It's been a long time but I return! Me:  The name’s Micchi, but feel free to call me whatever you wish. I’m in search of some casual roleplay buddies who might be up for some light-hearted, or really heavy roleplays. Basic info for me is I’m 20, and I’m a female more or less searching out other partners, preferably female, but gender really doesn’t matter in the end. I can’t say how much experience I have in RP, as my time RPing has been very patchy. I would average and say I probably have 1-2 years of experience, but I'm still learning and adapting. I'm currently enrolled in college in a full-time baking course, so I'm out most of the day during the week. I try to squeeze out replies despite this, as roleplaying is a great de-stresser for me. I try to average at the least one reply per day, but I can’t always do so since I’ve been fairly busy these days. At the least, I will respond on the weekends at least once a day if I can't get responses out during the week. If I haven’t replied in a week, please shoot me a message to remind me to reply, as I likely have read your message, but forgotten to reply! I will make sure to tell you if I know that I won't be able to reply for a week or more, so please be willing to do the same for me!

Style:  I RP in third person, paragraph style. I prefer to RP semi-lit, though I do this more or less as a stress reliever and a hobby, so I’m not too strict on my style or length or anything. I typically average a paragraph in response, and can push myself to write 2-3 if necessary, but even one-liners are no issue to me. My length varies depending on my partner, but I cannot spiel off more than 4 paragraphs per response. I like to plot up ideas together and though I’ve never gotten the chance, world-building does sound cool! I like to use faceclaims for my character, either a real person or an anime drawing, depending on my character (My older ones would likely have an anime drawing as a faceclaim while newer characters would have a real person). I also love to send pictures for references on my characters, and their clothing. It’s much easier for me to imagine their looks and clothing that way. ^.^ And lastly, since it’s been a while since I’ve RPed, I may be lacking in terms of detail and length, but with time and practice, I will improve! The same goes for my characters. They may start out very plain/shy or unrealistic-sounding, but over time, I will flesh them out and make them more and more realistic! So please bear with me. c: Rules:  So, starting rule is that I ask for my partners to be 18+, for comfort reasons and because I quite like smut. I prefer to be close in age to my partners, as I feel a better connection, and I’m more comfortable with it.  Second rule is that I ask you not to take control of my character without asking me first. I’ve had it happen before, and frankly it’s very annoying, and I’m sure you can understand why.  Last, a general rule. Respect. It’s a mutual rule, of course. Personal Update and accepting new commissions

Oh boy... what a week... after finishing the last commission, I made plans on not accepting new ones until the next week (basicly tomorow), so I have time to work on some own material. So I made sure to finish everything IRl stuff as quick and good as possible so I'm ready and guess what happens... one small shopping trip on wednesday and suddenly my back and my neck decided to go full pain mode on me.... -_- Of course I immediately took care of it, but as you can see, it cause this week to be quiet art-less... -_- Well today it seems my back and neck are slowly, but finally going to recover, but I'm still planning to may see my doctor tomorow, just to be sure. So what about commissions now for this week? Well do to unexspected costs (including stuff like new shoes), I decided to keep this part of the original plan, and I will except new commissions from tomorow on. Just write me a note, skype me (toongrowner there as well), or send me a chat message on tumblr and I will try my best to reply as soon as possible. If you allready asked for a commission this week, well same goes for you, but I probably allready told you that. So yeah, I willa ccept new commissions, but as allways be aware that it took take a while for me to finish them, specially with my back and neck still needing to recover a little, and me still wanting to work on some own ideas. A lot of people seem to ask me for teen titans recently, but the thing is, I never actually watched the original show (or any of the movies) and also I don't really like to draw this semi-realistic/anime like, kind of style, cause I'm not actually that good in drawing this style. So my suggestion, if you ask for teen titans (same for ben 10 actually) related stuff, please allowe to draw it at least in a slightly more cartoonisch or stylized style. Or if you are one of the very few people who actually likes Teen Titans Go, feel free to ask for this one. Would love to make some commissions based on this show (I'm not saying that TTG is better than the others, only that I enjoy the show and like it's style) 2) Same goes with anime style. I'm okay giving certain anime characters a try, but then in a more cartoonish style. 2) boring pin-up basicly a picture with character doing nothing but standing in a sexy pose. I don't mind looking at these kind of pictures but drawing them is kinda boring for me. If you want some kind of pin-up picture, please try to think of something that makes it a bit more unique and creative. Also keep in mind: Nothing against big boobs, but small boobs can also be nice. And one last thing: Please nothing with a beach or a shower. I recently drawn some of these realtive often (I don't post every commission I do for someone) and beaches and showers are quiet boring to draw as well. 3) Powerpuff girls as teen If possible, nothing like this. Theyre anatomy (big head, no fingers and stuff) makes it often quiet difficult to work with, when trying to portray them as adults. 4) comics Comics are a lot of work, so please keep them kinda short, also.... I kinda would like to do some more transformation comics, but a bit more than just gender bender (I love gender bender, but drawing this over and over can get quiet exhausting. Like how many different times can you draw someone growing boobs). Feel free to ask for other kinds of transformations as well, like turning into an animal, a robot, a different species, an object, a "speciffic" body part (absorbtion, assymilation) or anything the like. Just saying this cause maybe some of you where allready thinking about this but where not sure if I actuall draw this kinda stuff. I'm okay with vore too, but maybe keep this to single pictures. If you wanna ask for some other kind of comic, please keep in mind that characters stay in character. 5) Erotic art I'm okay with drawing erotic art (or really really weird stuff), but this may could take the longest. Also keep in mind that it is much more fun working on a erotic art, if you can play a littel with style and perspective. So please don't be bothered too much, if certain body parts are not visible because of a certain style or pose. Also please don't ask for multiple versions of the same picture, this would take extra long. 6) A little hold back on crossdress Nothing against crossdressing, but I got these kind of commissions quiet a lot. It just bothers me a little cause I prefer gender bender over crossdressing. 7) OC's and shipping totally okay with drawing oc's. Only thing that bothers me, if you pair up your OC (or yourself) with a popular cartoon character. I don't know what kind of person you and/or your OC are exactly, so it makes shipping pictures with them really difficult. Like when I do shipping pictures, I do need to feel the chemistry between the cahracters, and with OC's/real people, I can't really do that. 8) Guy x Guy Someone on tumblr asked my how I feel about gay art (guy x guy). Nothing against it, but it's usually not my cup of tea, at least there is quiet rarely a gay picture I find interesting... nonetheless, I would be willing to give it a try. So if you want me to draw a guy couple, feel free to ask. Of course I will not accept any idea. The characters should kinda find together in my mind. Same goes with every other kind of shipping. Allen’s Rambling XXXI: Creating the Demon Knight

I’ve been meaning to write a Munday Rambling for awhile, but I never knew what to write about. I tend to keep most Ramblings that focused on me personally and my interests outside of RPing to my personal blog, but I figured out what I wanted to talk about for Munday. Not so much about myself, but about Claudia and what inspired me to make her the way she is. Her inspirations, her origins, stuff like that. I guess this is a sort of “behind the scenes” Rambling in a way. And in the spirit of Munday, I’ll do this Rambling in the style of how I do them on my personal blog, with proper headers and my semi-sarcastic commentary.

Claudia’s Origins

So, fun fact, Claudia is actually is a reboot of an ancient OC I made about 11 years ago when I was in middle school named Clayton Ivanly. Clayton was the original Demon Knight. He was 13-years-old, shy, talked with a stutter, but possessed a demon sword that gave him a more confident personality and lightning powers when in combat. His story goes a bit further than that, but then I’d have to explain the Ivanly family and... trust me, you don’t want me to explain the complicated, 90s anime-inspired background of an OC I made when I was 12. Long story short, inter-dimensional travel is a bitch, angels are attractive to shy boys, and older brothers are make everything worse. 

Claudia... obviously has none of those things attached to her, but a few things stuck. The main reason Claudia’s theme color is purple as a callback to Clayton, but I might change that to light blue for... obvious reasons. Claudia possessing a demonic weapon is also a callback to Clayton as well, though that came a little later. If anything, Claudia is more a foil to Clayton. Where Clayton was a very feminine boy with confidence issues, Claudia is a very tomboyish girl with an cocky streak. Where Clayton hated combat and needed a demon sword to force him to defend himself, Claudia loves it and uses her demon spear to increase her kill count. The list goes on, but you get the idea. 

Also, Claudia has a realistic last name. Actually, her last name was originally suppose to be Ivoire, the French word for Ivory. But I misspelled it and by the time I realized it, it was too late...oops.

Inspirations

Like I said, Claudia is a re-imagined version of Clayton, but I took a few inspirations from other anime and video games when crafting and forming her. Namely the Blood Knight trope, fight obsessed characters like Judith from Tales of Vesperia and Reina from Fire Emblem Fates, characters that are usually polite and reserved until they start drawing blood.

I think I also need to give a special shoutout to Cecily Campbell of The Scared Blacksmith as well. This is one of my favorite manga series yet, I have the entire series on my bookshelf in fact. I usually try not to make my OCs too much like their Faceclaims, but I’d be lying if I didn’t admit Claudia had at least 30% of Cecily’s personality. Her straightforward nature, her willingness to speak out and face people and beings far above her in rank and skill, her short temper, her background, her tolerance to alcohol. Also... Cecily’s an idiot, and so is Claudia, and both are willing to admit that when asked. I call Claudia a dumb, violent lesbian for a reason after all. The biggest things keeping Clauds from being a straight up Cecily-clone is that she’s gay and uses a spear instead of a sword.  

Why a Knight?

I’ve been wanting to try my hand at knight-like character ever since I had to do a research paper on them a few years ago back in college. I was comparing samurai and knights and trying to find major differences and similarities with them. Thoughout my research I learned that knights and samurai were similar in the sense that a lot of the romanticizing surrounding them was played up to all hell. Knights were less of the noble and chivalrous warriors of God, and more like long term mercenaries with a bit of noble blood. Claudia is my take on what I think a knight at that time would be like, namely a lower ranking one. The reason I had her of low rank was to give her an excuse to travel around and find people to service under for the sake of improving standing. Honestly, I might have to be a knight to some fictional country of some sort that’s always warring with other states and countries for the sake of plot, but... eh, I’m still debating it for now.

Why is Claudia so Violent?

Well... for self-indulgent reasons. I like cute girls that fight, punch, and stab people, so I made a cute girl that likes to fight, punch, and stab people. It’s that simple really.

Well, there’s a bit more to it than self-indulgence. I’ve said before that fight RPs are my favorite types of RPs to do, and I’d like to go into detail as to why that is at a later time, but just know that most of my muses tend to be physical fighters because of it, Claudia being no different.

Why is Claudia a Lesbian?

Because Allen is a yuri fanboy with zero shame in admitting it.

Well, in all seriousness I made Claudia a lesbian on a whim. It was more of a “why not” kind of moment. Plus, it’s got the advantage of every male muse not coming at her with the intent to bang her since she’s not into dudes, which is a huge plus for me since I don’t really care for writing neither romance or sexual stuff. Any romance happening is mostly because of character development.

And... that’s really it in terms of Clauds’s origins and development. Nothing more I have to say about it. I’ve had this blog for about a year or so now and I’m glad I made it. It’s been a blast writing for her and hope it continues. So yeah, if you guys wanna’ know more feel free to ask me about this crazy demon knight. Amelia: considering her popularity status she’d run some blog like. U kno the blogs tumblr celebrities run i guess? So like. Reblogging a few general funny posts and answering select asks while getting like 200 every day.

 2. what’s their favourite colour?

 Sam: she likes blue :o like. Light blues. Also she keeps her hair dyed light blue as well

Amelia: purple. Honestly idk much more i can say about this.

 3. What makes them laugh?

 Sam: shitty puns and memes, mostly. The type of person who laughs out loud when u just say ‘egg’. She’s probably still into ‘xD tacos’ random humour.

Amelia: the polar opposite of sam in this regard. Laughs at intellectual humor. Like. rich fancy people. I know it exists but i cant think of any specific examples. Politely laughs at things people say are funny but she does not find them actually funny.

 4. If they had one day left to live, how would they spend it?

 Sam: “lmao dw i’ll probably just go to hell anyway” wait no context is important. She’s like. Actually how do i make this not sound bad rip. Uh. basically she is a business partner of lucifer who is actually p chill but that’s another story

Anyway that means like. If she dies she’ll probably just come back as a ghost or a higher tier demon.

Amelia: panicking and trying to find a way to not die. She had things she wants to do and a public record to maintain and jeez  i just realised how much ames has changed compared the the first universe she was in. i mean YEAH completely different life experiences but rip

 5. Do they have any annoying habits?

 -this is really subjective bc of what different people consider annoying but

Sam: people say she laughs too much. That is not her annoying habit is, her annoying habit is tellling lucifer when people say that so lucifer can like. Ban them from reincarnation or put a curse on them or something like that. Also sometimes when she cant be bothered to go that extra step she might go into the past and become that person’s grandmother.

...that second one isnt really an annoying habit to most people but to the one guy who has to help keep control of time, it is a very annoying habit and what makes up like half of his job doings.

 Amelia: sometimes goes very over the top with things. One time she stole a magic book by becoming a security guard at the place where it was kept and then took the book and ran. So like, instead of doing things illegally, she did it also illegally and got a month’s pay from it as well.

 6. What’s their favourite movie genre?

I s2fg i have mentioned this sometime in one of the long texts i have written involving these characters but i cant remember so

Sam: tbh probably more realistic/contemporary stuff, rom-coms, slice of life, coming of age etc. Like. her life is a science fiction/fantasy movie she’s a time traveler working with the dark lord lucifer ffs. Also she’d probably get annoyed on tiny details while watching historical stuff like

“That never happened”

“Sam it’s fiction, it’s a movie, how would they have known that”

“Well maybe they didn’t know it but it’s still fucking annoying”

 Amelia: probably similar to sam, her life is fuckin busy and always people and she’s famous so like. Escape from her life is to indulge in the normal things.

 Just as a side note this does take place in a modern-ish fantasy world so idk what fantasy movies would be considered there but. They exist. I’ll work this out sooner or later

 Also bonus character bc its fucking funny - Zeph: zephyr likes horror movies. She also likes to watch horror movies with her brother. Her brother does not share her same passion for horror movies. He has a certain threshold before he has to flee the room and cuddle someone. This is mostly why zeph likes horror movies. She is pretty picky with what she considers ‘good’ and spends most of her time making fun of horror movies.

And, like the rest of us, secretly freaks out when she is alone at night and hears a sound outside. But for significantly less long because she knows exactly how to make fun of it.

 7. What are their religious beliefs?

 Alright i might not (read: will not currently) answer this bc i’m still working out how to handle religion in this, bc basically there is historical evidence for how the world was created. But obviously that’s not the only component to religion?

Another point would be that actually i still havent got around to creating any religions yet.i still gotta get around to getting down a more detailed history of the world first but i am planning it

 8. What’s their current job (if they have one)?

Yes BITCH i have been WAITIGN for a question like this

 Sam: basically she made a deal with lucifer and runs many errands for them. But also they helped her a LOT when they helped her escape a shitty transphobic environment and also the two became best friends? So i mean she doesn’t get paid but that takes up a lot of her time

Also she, at one stage, becomes part of this thing called the council which i haven’t quite worked out how they work in this universe yet. Theyre a bunch of strong magic people who work in coordination with the Champion (more on this below) to put down rules about magic. Theyre a reused concept from this story i made when i was like. 10. So the idea does need some reworking.

 Amelia: amelia is the champion, which is basically the title given to the person who wins at a big magic competition. Its a p big job, lots of publicity and pr and often regretted by the people who do end up getting there

(like? This one guy? He was kinda like “oh yeah sounds fun” and then he fucking won and he was like “lmao i’ll lose next year” and then he kept the position for 7 years and after that got so fucking sick of it he faked his assassination and became a reclusive mysterious millionaire)

Anyway she enjoys it for the first while until there is a real threat of her being assassinated unlike the aforementioned dude

 9. How do they react to confrontation?

 Sam: similar way to what i described before. Like. jsut the little things. Cursing them with the help of lucifer, becoming their grandmother, you know. The usual ways people deal with confrontation.

Amelia: curiosity, further questioning, keeping calm, kinda just. Being chill about it. She wants to make herself a better person, in general, and if someone is deliberately being a confrontational asshole she prefers to just state her point calmly.

 10. Do they have a criminal record?

 Sam: you know? Probably? She kills a bunch of assholes where it’s required, but also she legally doesn’t exist? So? Idk? She’s been arrested a few times, but considering there is no information on her existence at all-

*shrugs* idfk how the law works.

 Amelia: well, technically, no, she only did illegal things last universe and had a pretty fancy upbringing this universe, so there was no reason for her to do the illegals and also like. Public image and stuff. She worries a lot about public image.

 11. What’s their favourite plant?

 Another thing which i feel i have mentioned somewhere but idfk where

 Sam: likes hydrangeas. They’re pretty.

Amelia: can i just say. It is definitely not catnip. Actually. Maybe? Like. she had some pretty fuckin negative experiences with catnip where she destroyed reality for like a solid five seconds by accident and went to purgatory, but also she made two life friends out of it, so? Maybe catnip after all.

 12. Can they play any instruments?

 Sam: “does the kazoo count”

Amelia: nope

 But because this was boring, i’m going to do a special guest feature from her half brother ryan who is a semi-popular youtube vlogger/musician-y dude. or . whatever this world’s equivalent of youtube is. Uh. metube. Yotube. I’ll think about it.

 Ryan: he plays the guitar and sings and he’s damn fucking good at it and he knows it. Also he shares the same combination of forgetting how to outlet his anger in healthy ways + poor impulse control which means that about once every six months he has to buy a new guitar because he couldn’t get that song right and he hit the guitar against the floor.

(his dad is a writer and also an archangel,and one time he couldn’t work out how to start off a scene right so he exploded his laptop and had to use a typewriter for the four weeks while his other archangel buddy was fixing it - i’m getting off topic here)

 13. What are they proudest of?

 Sam: i guess just. Her life in general? Like. she’s survived up to this point, she’s doin shit, maybe not the shit she expected to be doing or the shit she imagined she’d be doing but she’s still doin it. Like. fuck you life. I survived. And she’s proud of that.

Amelia: that one time when she managed to keep her champion title the first time? And also when she made friends with the guy who she thought was a girl and also dead who turned out to be not a girl and alive and also was the champion for seven years rememebr that guy yeah that’s this guy. Anyway she made friends with him after settling some differences. And also when she stopped a whole organisation from murdering her yeah that was good too.

 14. What’s their biggest insecurity?

 Sam: okay this is Definitely Not Me Projecting here (hint: it’s me projecting) but she hates being seen as masculine at all and is very insecure when people refer to her or see her as masculine? Like if u call her butch She Will Cry and also why would you do that bc her and her girlfriend are femme as heck

Amelia: public image public image public image public image

Like. she doesn’t want to look bad, or like a bad public leader, but also, she just wants to do her own thing, u kno?

 15. What do they most often dream about?

 Sam: probably. Mostly happy stuff. Plus random occasional vivid recollections of tramatic experiences.

Looking For A Few Partners (Mostly OC and BTS)

Hello! So, it’s been a year but I’m back, and craving a few RP partners. Me:  The name’s Micchi, but feel free to call me whatever you wish. I’m in search of some casual roleplay buddies who might be up for some light-hearted, or really heavy roleplays. Basic info for me is I’m 19 (Will be 20 later this month), and I’m a female more or less searching out other partners, preferably female, but gender really doesn’t matter in the end. I can’t say how much experience I have in RP, as my time RPing has been very patchy. I would average and say I probably have 1-2 years of experience. I’ll be going into college at the beginning of April, and I’m hoping even with class, I’ll be able to continue any RPs I have going at that time, but fair warning I may have to put a hold on our RP, or stop it all together if the course is demanding. Hopefully it won’t be that way. ^.^ I try to average at the least one reply per day, but I can’t always do so since I’ve been fairly busy these days. If I haven’t replied in a week, please shoot me a message to remind me to reply, as I likely have read your message, but forgotten to reply! I will make sure to tell you if I’ll be missing for anywhere from 3 or more days, if I have the chance to, so please be willing to tell me the same. I would like to know if you’ll be unable to reply for anywhere between 4 days or more. 

Style:  I RP in third person, paragraph style. I prefer to RP semi-lit, though I do this more or less as a stress reliever and a hobby, so I’m not too strict on my style or length or anything. I typically average a paragraph in response, and can push myself to write 2-3 if necessary, but I’ve been out of RPing a while so my quality may be a bit lack-luster at the beginning. Please just bear with me and I’ll improve.  I like to plot up ideas together and though I’ve never gotten the chance, world-building does sound cool! I like to use faceclaims for my character, either a real person or an anime drawing, depending on my character (My older ones would likely have an anime drawing as a faceclaim while newer characters would have a real person). I also love to send pictures for references on my characters, and their clothing. It’s much easier for me to imagine their looks and clothing that way. ^.^ And lastly, since it’s been a while since I’ve RPed, I may be lacking in terms of detail and length, but with time and practice, I will improve! The same goes for my characters. They may start out very plain/shy or unrealistic-sounding, but over time, I will flesh them out and make them more and more realistic! So please bear with me. c: Rules:  So, starting rule is that I ask for my partners to be 18+, for comfort reasons and because I quite like smut. I prefer to be close in age to my partners, as I feel a better connection, and I’m more comfortable with it.  Second rule is that I ask you not to take control of my character without asking me first. I’ve had it happen before, and frankly it’s very annoying, and I’m sure you can understand why.  Third, a general rule. Respect. It’s a mutual rule, of course. I’ll respect you as long as you respect me.  And last rule, for my own comfort, please do not ask personal questions. I’ve had it happen a few times where someone will ask me something personal or invasive, and really I just don’t want to feel uncomfortable again. I will drop contact with anyone who tries to get anything sexual out of me. Preferences:  So, I like to talk with my partners OOC, but this isn’t necessary if you wouldn’t like to do so. I’m an awkward and shy person, so I totally understand if you wish to keep talking strictly to plotting and talk about our characters/setting.  For pairings, I highly prefer M// and F//, but I will do M/F. With M/F, I will only play the female character. I would love to try some F//, as I’ve never actually RPed F// before, at least not without being ghosted, so I’d love to get the experience with it. I prefer to play a bottom, but I will switch, and in a F//, I might top. I like to play a range of characters, but most are bottoms or switches.  I prefer to do OC RPs, but I do have a few fandoms that I will play canon characters in. Most fandoms are for the universe.  I usually play only one character at a time, but I can double. I like to do two different pairings when doubling (Like M// and F//). I’m currently doing one of these, and I love it. This more or less ties to J-Pop/J-rock or K-pop, but any kind of idol/celebrity can be used) - Vampire x Werewolf* - Vampire x Human - Werewolf x Human (I’m a sucker for the human helping an injured werewolf plot) - Werewolf x Werewolf (Maybe a rogue being taken in by a pack alpha sort of scenario and slowly adapting them to life with a pack again) - Vampire x Vampire* (I like any plot, but I’m weak for an old, powerful vampire taking in a fledgling/newly turned vampire and teaching them how to adjust to their new life) - Demon x Angel - Demon x Human* (A human summons a demon, for any reason, and somehow the demon gets stuck with the human. Maybe the human accidentally summons the demon, and cannot send it back, so now the demon begrudgingly has to deal with this human until they find a way to get him home and they form a bond) - Human x Hybrid*** (A hybrid being adopted by someone who just wants a companion, maybe a lonely author, and slowly they end up falling for each other. Usually tied in with heats/ruts/ABO dynamics) - Hybrid x Hybrid* - Merman x Human** (Based off of Orenchi no Furo Jijo, a mermaid/merman is beached and dying, and a human takes them home and houses them in their tub. Possibly takes them back to the sea later on and makes routine visits to see them) - Good Boy/Girl x Bad Boy/Girl* (Something where the bad girl/boy has a soft spot for the good boy/girl and treats them completely opposite of their image. Maybe they’re childhood friends, and have been separated for years due to one moving away and have been reunited in college) - Supernatural creature x Human* (It could be any supernatural creature) - Supernatural creature x Supernatural Creature* AUs:  So, I’m really weak for the hybrid AU, supernatural AU and soulmate AUs.
