YOU -- mm i want a fat man on me gaystyle but with clothes on
FURRY INCLINATION [Medium: Success] -- Any *animalline traits* to him, two-legs?
SENSATION -- That would do nicely, texturally speaking...
YOU -- not for now, but i'll keep that in mind.
POSTER'S GAMBIT [Easy: Success] -- Yes. YES. It's the perfect emotion. Everyone wants -- even if not that. So generalize, blogsman. Ambiguate. With this, you can finally build your *viral empire.*
BROAD APPEAL [Hard: Success] -- With your crowd: three faves, and a flirtatious re-blog from some fur-fag. Eight if the bitcoinette or the not-lycanthrope touches it...
POSTER'S GAMBIT -- Try again. We're *this* close to another "you have to let 'denny's parking lot at 3am' go."
YOU -- mm i want big men on me gaystyle #gay #mlm #lgbt #asexual
SENSATION [Medium: Success] -- But it's not about "big" -- "big" alone is nothing. Non descript. You crave *plasticity* -- you want to feel him pushing through, between your fingers...
FURRY INCLINATION -- Oh, yes. Sounds *sonft,* two-legs.
SENSATION -- *Really* sonft. If we must say it that way. And so *heavy* on our supine body, too. I almost wonder if we could...
New task: Administer the *auto-hand-job.*
SENSATION -- Yeah.
POSTER'S GAMBIT -- NEVER MIND THEM. Never mind any of that. You're almost there. Keep going, blogsman. *Earn* the U.R.L.
BROAD APPEAL [Hard: Success] -- Thirteen faves, four reblogs. None flirtatious -- none you think.
YOU -- what's missing?
BROAD APPEAL -- What do you think?
YOU [Impossible: Success] -- the *sapphic* factor.
BROAD APPEAL -- Exactly right. I *told* you I'm named this way for a reason...
HIGH SCHOOL G.S.A. -- Do it for Erin. And Michaela. I wonder if they're still...
BROAD INTUITION [Medium: Success] -- They're not.
YOU -- mm i want big men or women on me #lgbt #ambiguously queer
HIGH SCHOOL G.S.A. -- Ah-ah-ah.
BROAD APPEAL -- And about that word "big" ... you know what has to happen.
YOU -- but that's the core of it to me, kind of.
POSTER'S GAMBIT [Easy: Success] -- And to the fur-fag sector.
BROAD APPEAL -- A sector is nothing. We want the *website* in our hands. Even the proponents of Astarion, and the proprietors of "best girls"...
YOU -- Yuck.
BROAD APPEAL -- I know. But they're the only way.
VANITY [Easy: Failure] -- God, we'll be on *Ellen.*
BROAD APPEAL -- Enough of that. She's out.
YOU [Impossible: Success] -- mm i want anything at all #lgbt #ambiguously queer #asexual
POSTER'S GAMBIT -- STOP THERE. YOU'VE FOUND IT, BLOGSMAN. QUICKLY -- BEFORE WE BOTH FORGET -- TYPE IT UP AND POST.
BROAD APPEAL -- The known numbers don't go high enough. You've found a ticket out of here -- out of *Massachusetts.*
SHIVERS -- IN 2027, A METEOR THE SIZE OF A KLEAN KANTEEN WILL LAND IN THE CENTER OF ROXBURY AND LEVEL BOSTON WITH ITS ZETTA-JOULES OF IMPACT ENERGY. TOO SMALL AND TOO QUICK FOR EVEN M.I.T.'S OBSERVATORY-BOYS TO DETECT.
POSTER'S GAMBIT -- More important things than that are happening -- and sooner, too. Type it up, blogsman. This is the easy part...
YOU -- You type: "mm i want anything at all #lgbt #ambiguously queer #asexual."
SENSATION [Hard: Success] -- Stop. Go back. It's dishonest.
BROAD APPEAL -- This was never about you -- you were only ever the basis on which *this* could be constructed. If that...
POSTER'S GAMBIT -- Post it, blogsman. Make the world relate to you.
YOU -- You hit: "post."
YOU -- The progress bar reaches -- reaches -- completes. A green light indicates success.
POSTER'S GAMBIT -- YES. YES... Oh, I suppose we should have waited for *optimum posting hours.* It doesn't matter now. It's done -- and the onslaught faves will begin rolling in catastrophically in three... two...
POSTER'S GAMBIT -- In three... two...
Thought gained: Any day now...
POSTER'S GAMBIT -- Don't worry, blogsman. Just keep checking your phone -- the *wi-fi* here is *bunk,* anyway.
VANITY -- And once it does -- Ellen.

K so like its night time and y/n is cuddling with megumi and yuji barges in and sees them both and is like “You’re cuddling with megumi are you guys dating?! :O” then the next day everyone is just asking you “aRe YoU rEaLlY dAtInG mEgUmI???” By the way i love your posts❤️
megumi is just so perfect for secret dating bc he would beg you to keep your relationship a secret, like, right off the bat. like before you're even official- probably before he's even confessed.
omg.
megumi coming to you in a panic and it worries you bc you don't often see him stressed and the boy looks like he's about to pop a blood vessel and you're being so sweet to him meanwhile he's grabbing you by the hands and making you swear to not speak a word of this to yuji or nobara- and definitely not gojo. poor confused you are like "ok sure but what are you talking about??" oops megumi forgot about the part where he's supposed to tell you how much he likes you and thinks that you should give him a chance at making you happy- but we all know that goes well because you're literally in love with him already adlhgkajflkgh
and for a while you're pretty good at sneaking around, because it's sort of fun actually. every secret look or note passed has your heart racing and you wouldn't have it any other way, as long as you have each other.
but after a few months the two of you get fully settled with one another and you start to slip up. with megumi pulling your chair out for you or holding the door for you but not the others, you start to get a few questioning looks. and you might have called him megs in front of the others one time- he might not forgive you for that one because now everyone calls him that to get on his nerves... oops.
it's not like either of you are trying to get caught, you both enjoy the benefits of dating in secret so much, you don't necessarily want to give that up. the others will definitely berate and interrogate you one day for keeping your relationship a secret for so long, but... it's just so nice.
"maybe we tell them when we graduate?" you hum, trying to brainstorm with your boyfriend to find the proper way to break the news.
megumi's chest rumbles under your cheek when he groans. if it were up to him, no one would ever know. surely he could have a successful relationship with you that way, right? it's been easy enough to cover it up so far, surely you could elope and build a life together in secret as well? shit, would gojo take it personally if he didn't tell him he was getting married? suddenly his mind is swarming with what a secret private wedding would look like, meanwhile you're laying against him in sielnce waiting for his response.
"megs..?" you call softly, trying to draw him out of his thoughts.
"maybe we fake our deaths. relocate. how's italy sound?"
you chuckle, tilting your head back to peer up at him.
"you're afraid of gojo, aren't you?" you hum knowingly. megumi glances down at you briefly, looking away as soon as you wiggle your eyebrows. you chuckle again.
"i'd be open to other places, too" he continues his thought.
"i think we should just rip it off like a bandaid," you ignore his getaway plan. "tell them we're together and have been all year. then if they have questions-"
"i'm not answering their questions" his voice is a mere whisper, as not to disturb the calming atmosphere you've created, but his words are final. you tap your finger against his chest a few times.
"i'll answer the questions then, you can just... stand there"
"do i even have to be there?"
"i don't think they'll believe me if you aren't" you giggle at the idea of trying to convince them that yes that stoic moody boy is actually a complete romantic towards you and you never thought a love like yours could be possible.
"are you saying our friends don't think i'm boyfriend material?" he asks, and you know he's baiting you, but you're honest with him anyways.
"that's exactly what i'm saying," you say, grinning up at him despite the scowl of fake hurt on his face. "but i know otherwise"
"fine. we'll tell them. and then you can answer the questions. and i'll... be there. for emotional support"
you giggle some more, tucking yourself further against him while he stares at the ceiling in despair. he already knows all of the questions your friends are going to ask and he can't help but dread them in advance. still, it will be nothing compared to the interrogation he'll surely receive from his guardian, later, when you aren't around to protect him (and his dignity)
"it'll be nice to be able to just say we're going on a date instead of you faking to be sick and me pretending i'm on an assignment. sneaking around was fun and all but..." you trail off, and megumi averts his gaze from the plain ceiling, peeking down at you where you nuzzle into the soft fabric of his sweatshirt. he knows you're going to fall asleep on him, because you always do, but he doesn't mind. even if it makes his arm fall asleep. "i don't want to hide how much i love you anymore"
and then his escape plan sounds silly when you put it like that. so he hugs you tighter against him as you start to drift off- he can tell as your head feels a little heavier against his collar- and he brushes his lips over the crown of your head.
"i love you too, sweetheart," he murmurs. "we'll tell them as soon as you want"
he just wasn't expecting the moment to be ruined by his door slamming open and your friends inviting themselves in, only to be shocked at the scene they interrupted.
queue the noisy accusations and questions. megumi tries not to say i told you so as you tiredly sit up and rub your eyes so you can answer all of your friends' curiosities, while he pulls the blanket over his head and tries to pretend he wasn't there.
of course he doesn't want to hide that he loves you... but for fucks' sake do they have to do this here and now????

Spencer coming home from a long case only to find reader has unexpectedly adopted a bunny? ("Look Spence!! This is Doctor Bunny Reid :)")
thank u for ur request ♡ gn!reader
Your apartment smells strangely like straw.
Spencer creeps inside quietly. It's five AM, too early for him to feel good about waking you up, but he hasn't seen you in eight long days, so he had to come over. He's hoping he can dump his stuff and slide into bed beside you without waking you, content to be close to you, assured that you're alright.
He shucks off his jacket and his bag of dirty clothes by the door and unlaces his shoes. Hand pressed to the wall, Spencer walks down the short hall, past your living room and kitchen, to your bedroom door.
"No, Doctor!" you say in a hushed shout from behind the door. "You can't eat that, that's one of his favourites. Woah, that tickles."
Honestly, the first thing Spencer thinks is that you've gotten so bored you've found yourself enacting odd role play. The second thing he thinks is that you've found someone to do it with, and he quickly backtracks the first thing. He doesn't like the sounds of it, but he can be into it if you're into it. Probably.
"Y/N?" he asks, pulling down the handle and opening the door.
You're sitting on the floor by your bed in strange attire. His t-shirt (that, while he appreciates the sentiment, does not fit you even slightly) under an old soft sweater with a huge hole in the collar. Black sweatpants, one sock, and a pair of white bunny ears perched in your hair.
"You're not supposed to be back until seven," you say, shocked.
"That was my seven, not your seven… Surprise?"
"Spence, I'd totally run at you right now, but," —you point at your lap— "I'm occupied."
Spencer is disappointed, doubly confused by what you're pointing at. The soft lump at your abdomen isn't your tummy after all, but a moving grey creature of the same colour.
"A rabbit?" he asks, eyes widening as the bunny in question nuzzles your sweater for petting.
"Doctor Bunny Reid," you say, avoiding Spencer's eyes, a sheepish tinge to your admission. "To be precise."
"Your sock?" he asks, moving down onto his knees adjacent to your own.
"He took it. I don't know where it went."
Spencer quirks a smile. "He's cute. I don't think I can compete, really."
You put your hand on the bunny's back and lean forward. "You compete," you say, pouting gently, "you're adorable."
His smile turns to pleased surprise as you kiss him. Twice in quick succession, before you arm curls behind his back for a loose hug over your new pet.
Spencer breathes in your smell. Or, attempts to. "The hay and ammonia is a lot."
"I know. I'll figure it out, I promise… I missed you, Spence."
"I can sort of tell." Spencer isn't sure he needs to be a profiler to realise that adopting a bunny and naming it after him while he was gone is the sort of thing only a very lonely person would do. "How's he so calm?"
"He's, um, four years old, he's used to handling. I got him at the pound. His owner died last week."
"You have all the stuff for him?"
"Of course I do," you say, leaning back to meet his eyes. "I didn't mean to get him just 'cos I was lonely, I promise I actually read up on it before I decided. He's handsome, isn't he? You wanna feel how silky his ears are?"
Spencer doesn't doubt you care, or that you're responsible, he's just surprised. You hadn't mentioned wanting a rabbit before. Petting the rabbits ears softly, he asks, "You know they live for eight to twelve years? Sometimes longer? The oldest rabbit ever documented was eighteen years old."
You frown. "I know, Spence, it's a commitment. I should've asked you first, but I–"
"No, I mean. It's not about that, I hope we get longer than eighteen years together. But are you sure Doctor Bunny Reid is the name you want to choose?"
Your face floods with relief. "Well, his real name was Mr. Patterson. Which one do you like better?"
The bunny has enough of your lap, hopping down onto the floor and bolting for what appears to be a big wooden house you've set up for him. There are black partitions for an enclosure leaned up against the wall. Spencer can guess exactly how he'll be spending the day, and it involves less cuddling than he thought.
Spencer takes your empty lap as an opportunity to hug you again, a protective hand cupped behind your head. "Definitely Mr. Patterson," he says, resting his nose against your cheek.
You laugh infectiously, leaning back under his weight.
"I missed you. I'm glad to be home," he murmurs.
You hug him tighter. "I missed you, too."

Hi ! ╰(*´︶`*)╯♡ I would like to react to the moriarty boys reacting to their s/o messing with them and doing the "you know other woman ?!"
I’m sure you’re gonna do great, I love your work !
✧ thank you for requesting and for your kind words !! also, really, really sorry for the incredibly late response 🥲
Tumblr media
✧ albert james moriarty
“honey?” he calls out to you. he's holding up a dark blue suit infront of him in his right hand and a black one in his other hand. “which one do you think would be appropriate for tonight?”
he'd told you yesterday that he'd been invited by the queen for some sort of function, which is why he had been asking for your advice on what to wear.
“hmm..” you ponder. “what kind of party is it and who is going to be there?”
“well, it's supposed to be a banquet held by the queen—so probably noblemen and noblewomen.”
“do you know them?”
“well, i'm acquainted with the men and i've held conversations with some of the women before.”
“hold on a second..” you pause. “so what you're staying is that.. you know other women than me?”
he freezes. “..honey?” he's practically sweatdropping in an instant. has he made you upset somehow?
why? he thinks to himself, staring at you in shunned silence. for being aware of the existence of other women on this planet? would blinding himself do the trick? perhaps he and you should move to a cave instead, perhaps—
you can practically see the coils turning in his head, the way his adam's apple bobs when he gulps, the sweat forming on his brow and you can't help but burst out laughing.
“a little overdramatic, aren't you?” you giggle and he looks at you like you've just told him the sky is below.
“what..?” he raises an eyebrow, confused. “i'm not sure i follow, however, if i've angered you then-”
“i was joking, al.” you grin and he exhales heavily in relief, hand on his chest. but he manages to calm down, even tease you back a little. “you've already taken my heart and now you want to take my life as well? quite selfish, don't you think, my dear?”
Tumblr media
✧ william james moriarty
“i still think you should rest..” you huff.
although he only just recently recovered from a fever, he'd resumed with his duties. “rest assured, darling, i'm sure grading a few test papers won't kill me.'” william tells you, a subtle smile on his lips.
the man lifts his head up from the desk ever so slightly, watching your lips form into the smallest of pouts. amused, and quite fond of how endearing you look—he leans back in his chair, chuckling softly.
“if you're that worried, i'll inform you that i already have someone from the university helping me.”
“really? then—” you exhale. “wait, she?”
“mm?” he tilts his head. “yes. she.”
“wait—” your eyebrows furrow and your eyes narrow into a glare. “you know other women?”
“pardon?” william blinks in surprise. the calmness that he always exerts seems to crackle the tiniest bit as confusion surges within him. “are you.. jealous?”
“hah?” hands crossed, a single eyebrow raised.
the blond's eyebrows shoot up momentarily before relaxing. he's far too intelligent to not catch up to the little prank you're playing on him, far too observant not to notice the little grin you're trying to hide.
he laughs, eyes creasing. “very funny, love.” he says sarcastically. “but you have absolutely nothing to worry about..”
william takes your hand in his, pressing soft lips atop your knuckles. “for my attention, affection and everything of me are reserved, solely for you.”
Tumblr media
✧ louis james moriarty
it is afternoon and the two of you are strolling in the streets of durham, grocery shopping. your fingertips brush as you both walk by side by side. louis suggests going to the bakery and buying some pastries since one of the missions that his elder brother planned had become a complete success.
as the two of you enter the bakery and look over the cake and pastry counter, deciding what to buy—
“louis!” a woman chirps, eyes glittering. she's hovering right behind louis, looking over his shoulder. “good to see you again. what are you buying?”
“oh.” louis turns, nods his head. “it's good to see you, too. we were just deciding on what pastries to buy.”
“really?” she asks. then, points to a few pastries. “you should buy these, they're really good.” and suddenly, they've engaged in deep conversation about dairy while you watch them interact in utter silence.
something about this irks you, even if it's by the slightest so you decide to mess around with him.
once she's gone, you begin quietly. “i didn't know you knew other women than me.” your lips look like they've inflated with how much you're sticking them out in feigned upsetness, and that startles louis.
“is that... an issue to you?” he questions, genuinely curious. he's careful with his words—amidst his surprise—because he notices your demeanor turning gloomy. “she is just someone i happen to coincidentally meet once in a while i do some shopping. nothing more, nothing else.”
he's sincere in his words, his eyebrows furrowed in genuine worry and you begin to feel a little guilty.
you shrug. “it's okay, you don't need to explain yourself to me.” you tell him. “because i'm not really upset or anything, i was just joking.”
and then you give him a grin and you watch his tense shoulders visibly relax. “i.. see. then—”
“but we're not going to get the pastries she suggested.” you tell him bluntly and he blinks in surprise.
“let's choose something else together, louis.” your words sound joyous and so does your voice but something about your smile makes him feel a little chill down his spine.
perhaps you were a little jealous, after all?

“Y/n left me.”
The limousine you are in is completely black, save for the white lines being measured out right next to you.
“What?” says Jenni.
“She left me,” Alexia says once more. The hotel room is a non-committal beige. They lie in the same bed, the older of the two welcoming her lost teammate wordlessly and without judgement. Tomorrow, they will return to Barcelona, losers yet another time. “She moved back to london. She took Nico.”
“She can’t just take Nico, can she?”
“Y/n, how’s Nico?” Your stomach turns, but whether that is provoked by the thought of the baby boy you left crying in your father’s arms or by the white powder outlining the rim of the woman’s nostrils, you don’t know.
Your son’s creasing eyes, red face, and grabbing hands appear in front of you. He screams as you walk away. He doesn’t understand why he has not smelt Alexia in weeks, and he misses the comfort of home.
Everyone waits for your answer. No one comments on the bags under your eyes. “He's fine,” you say with a smile. “He loves it here.”
“I think she is depressed,” Alexia tells Jenni, comforted by the arms wrapped around her waist, holding her close and tightly and reminding her that she is not as alone as you have made her feel. “She told me that she couldn’t be in Barcelona anymore, but she said that without giving me a chance to come with her. Her bags were packed before the conversation started — she might as well have called me from the plane.”
“Are you angry at her?”
“Yes.”
Alexia thinks about it.
“No.”
“No,” you say when they point at your very own line. The drug holds a place of both familiarity and hatred in your heart. The fine, white powder reminds you of greatness – of being the most successful girl group in the UK – but, also, of hospital visits. It’s not a past addiction, but it could have been. You light a cigarette instead, though it will make the vehicle reek.“I can't. I have a son.”
“You’re not a saint.” They boo. “You’re allowed to have fun. I saw you the other day, and you had no qualms with any drugs then.”
“No, I'm not a saint,” you reply. You regret that night — however little you remember. “But I am a mother.”
“Is it that thing? Postpartum?” Jenni asks. “The baby blues are really shitty, I've heard, but they’re not supposed to cripple you. Maybe the relationship has other issues.”
“I'm not angry at her, Jenni,” Alexia repeats. “I miss Nico. He looks like her. He has started to look a lot more like her now.”
“He would definitely suit those sparkly bralettes.” Jenni giggles at the thought.
With an understandable lack of good humour, Alexia ponders something more realistic. “He would suit a Barcelona kit.”
“He would be made for it. You are his mother.”
“I'm not angry at her,” Alexia says for the third time, just to make herself believe it. Just to carve those words into her bones and tell herself that it isn’t anger, what she’s feeling. “I don't want to be angry at her. I think I'm going to see if I can move to arsenal.”
“Don’t you dare.”
“Well, I'm not angry at her.”
“Alexia.” Jenni cups her cheek tenderly. “Ale.” She knows she shouldn’t. She’s not angry at you, and so there is no punishment needed. Not that… Not that kissing Jenni would ever be utilised as a weapon to get back at you. Or that she’d actually kiss her.
“Daddy, I can't get him tonight. No, I don't want to stay over. Daddy, I…” You hate the baby. You hate yourself. You hate that Spain hasn’t done well, and that your fiancée is disappointed that nothing is how it was supposed to be. Alexia is probably lying awake in bed, missing her son, and missing you. You expect one of her teammates to call you soon, and tell her that she needs you. You’re her person. “I'm going to get some sleep and I'll pick him up tomorrow. Probably around lunchtime, okay?”
“Alexia."

the smooth operation ~ carlos sainz
Tumblr media
Summary: You reminisce about the start of your relationship with Carlos, which he likes to call "the smooth operation."
Words: 1.1k+
Other works: my masterlist
♡♡♡♡♡
Present
"Remember when we first met?" you randomly asked Carlos as you were laying on the couch together, watching the new season of the Formula 1 Netflix documentary.
"I do, why?" he asked, confused.
"Just thinking about how far we've come" you shrugged, snuggling further into his warm chest.
"I did make you a deal that you just couldn't refuse. The Smooth Operation of Carlos Sainz was a success" he proudly stated, making you laugh.
"That was the farthest thing from smooth, mi amor" you said between giggles, watching his now offended face.
"How dare you, I was the smoothest gentleman ever" he tried to sound serious but you knew he was trying to hold in his laughter as well.
"Whatever you say, amor"
"Do you remember when...?"
♡♡♡♡♡
Flashback ~ 4 years prior
The paddock was busier than you ever expected. If you thought the teams looked busy on the livestreams and TV, it was nothing compared to real life.
"Hello, can I help you?" a red-haired woman snapped you out of your thoughts, looking at you with a confused face as to why you were in the Ferrari garage.
"Sorry, my name is Y/N, I'm the PR intern. I was supposed to find-"
"Me. You were supposed to find me. Welcome aboard, Y/N. Buckle up, this is going to be a bumpy drive" she said and motioned for you to follow her.
You took one last glance at the busy garage full of engineers back and forth before you followed the woman.
Having been so focused on not getting lost, you didn't even realize where you were going which led to you crashing into a very toned body. You would've fallen had the stranger not caught you.
"Careful there, Miss" the strong Spanish accent spoke in your ear, instantly making your eyes widen.
You could've recognized that voice in a million, the accent making it obvious. You had just crashed into Carlos Sainz, the Ferrari driver.
"I'm so sorry, I didn't watch where I was going" you excused yourself once you stood on your two feet, finally looking up into his warm chocolate brown eyes.
"I haven't seen you around here" he noted, his expression cutely confused.
"I'm the PR intern. I was supposed to follow this red-haired woman down to her office but I lost sight of her and now I don't know where I'm supposed to go" you smiled sheepishly, making Carlos chuckle and nod.
"I can take you there, come on" he put a hand on the small of your back and started walking with you.
He didn't realize it, but his hand on your back was making you lose your mind. THE Carlos Sainz was actually talking to you. No, he was TOUCHING you.
You could've fainted at that alone.
"You don't have to, I'm sure you're busy with other stuff. I'll manage on my own" you hurried to say, knowing he most probably had better things to do than parade around with you.
"Nonsense, it would be my pleasure" he explained, flashing you a big smile as you continued to walk through the garage.
After a minute, you stopped in front of an office, and you could see the woman you had talked to earlier sitting at her desk and talking to someone on the phone.
"Thank you for showing me around" you said, turning to face him.
"No need to thank me, it was my pleasure. I'll see you around" he said and leaned in, kissing your cheek before walking away.
Your face was red as the Ferrari colors, your cheeks were warm and your eyes were wide, staring at the spot where he last stood.
You reached down and pinched yourself, making sure that what just happened wasn't all in your imagination.
♡♡♡♡♡
Flashback - 4 years ago, 2 weeks after meeting
Your belly hurt because of how much you had been laughing, Carlos following suit.
He had asked you out for dinner a couple of days prior after he had won a race, and you didn't have the heart to refuse him and celebrating his win with him.
"I don't remember the last time someone made me laugh so much" you said once your laughter died down, the smile still prominent on your face.
"I could say the same, it's been a while since I've been out with someone" he confessed, leaning back in his chair.
You admired him for a moment, taking in his beautiful facial features, admiring the way his white shirt hugged his toned body, the way his hair looked so soft and fell so beautifully on his eyes.
In your opinion, he looked just like Prince Eric from the Little Mermaid, your favorite childhood story.
"You're an amazing man, Carlos" the words rolled off your tongue before you could even realize what you were saying.
The smile that appeared on his lips was so radiant, making you feel all fuzzy on the inside knowing you were the one who caused it.
"You're the most wonderful person I have ever met" he took your hand that was resting on the table and brought it to his lips, kissing it lovingly.
Your eyes were stuck on his, a subtle blush coating your cheeks.
Before the night ended, Carlos walked you to your hotel room where you were staying, wanting to make sure you got there safely.
"I had a wonderful time tonight" you confessed once you stopped at your hotel room door, leaning back against it.
"Me too. I hope we can do it again" he proposed, making your heartbeat quicken and your palms sweaty.
"What will the team think of this? I practically work for you, this goes against work ethics. They'd make us stop seeing each other" you wondered out loud, the question having been nagging at you ever since you agreed to go out with him.
"They wouldn't and they won't. If they see we are happy together, they will leave us alone. Plus, they know better than to piss me or Charles off. We could walk away any time, they wouldn't risk it" he explained, making you bite your lips and chuckle.
"Okay then" you said and leaned up, pecking his lips slightly before hurriedly opening your door and stepping inside the room.
Once inside, you rested your back against the door and bit your lips, trying to suppress the stupid smile that was fighting its way to your lips.
♡♡♡♡♡
Present
"We've come a long way since then" you commented as you found yourself back in the arms of the man you love, smiling at all the memories.
"We have. And the future is only just beginning" he said and kissed your head, burying his face in your hair.
Maybe your relationship wasn't the most perfect all the time, but it was yours, and you wouldn't trade it for the world.

Tumblr media

warning/s: none.
author's note: it physically pained me to write soccer instead of football for this lol, a few 'football's might have slipped in out of habit. But yeah, hope you like this! it's a three parter and jackie taylor deserved better oops
also y/bf/n = your best friend's name
two / three / masterlist / wattpad

My fingers fumbled for the catch at the back of my camera, opening it up and revealing the freshly wound up film. As I grabbed it, I barely had chance to think about my next move before the door behind me slammed into my back, knocking me forward and making the roll fly in the air momentarily.
"No!" I yelped, reaching out to catch it before it could hit the concrete stairs and roll away into oblivion.
"Shit, sorry," someone said with realisation as I caught the roll and sighed with relief.
Gripping the roll tighter than ever, I closed the camera and let it hang from my neck as I turned to see who it was. "It's fine, maybe I should stand somewhere other than the entrance to unload my– shit, are you okay?"
My brows furrowed with concern at the sight of Jackie Taylor, the captain of the girl's soccer team. Her presence wasn't what concerned me, but rather the obvious tears on her face that she awkwardly tried to wipe away when our eyes briefly met.
"Yeah, I'm–" she started, but was interrupted by her own sniffling, and she completely turned away in an attempt to collect herself.
This was the opposite of the Jackie Taylor I'd come to know over the years. Having witnessed her rise into captain as I photographed the team's success – the Yellowjackets – for the school paper had given me enough time with her to know she was usually a happy, confident girl. I'd never seen her cry like this before, especially not at school.
"What happened?" I asked gently.
She shook her head, forcing a smile. "Nothing, I just– I broke up with Jeff."
I wasn't sure what to say at first, familiar with her boyfriend but knowing they were known for having their breaks here and there. Still, this looked worse than usual.
"I'm sorry to hear that," I finally spoke, chewing on my lip. "Is there anything I can do?"
She shook her head, straightening up suddenly. "No. But do you know when the next bus arrives? I was supposed to get a ride home with him, but–"
"No, er, I don't really get–" I started, but amended, "I mean, I can check, but–"
"Forget it," she said with a sigh. "I'll figure it out. Thanks."
Without another word, she walked past me and down the steps. I watched her, debating whether or not to offer her a ride since I knew for certain I'd never seen her catch a bus in my life, and it was well after school hours so they might not even be running now. There was also the fact that she was clearly upset, and my conscious wouldn't rest easy knowing I'd left her alone.
"Jackie, wait," I called out to her, pocketing my film canister and jogging to catch up to her. She stopped, turning around, and I pulled out my car keys. "I can give you a ride."
A little surprised, her hazel eyes widened slightly. "Oh. Are you sure?"
I nodded. "Yeah. C'mon."
She silently followed me to my car, getting into the passenger's seat as I did the driver's. It was never awkward between us before, but our exchanges were always limited to greetings, soccer talk or photo ops. Now however, there was a slight tension in the air, mainly because of her situation. She didn't speak except for when she told me where she lived, and after that, I didn't speak up either, not wanting to pressure her into sharing if she didn't want to.
"Thank you," she muttered halfway through the drive, and I glanced over at her to see her watching me apologetically. "Is your camera thingy okay? Whatever I knocked?"
"The film, yeah," I assured her. "No worries. It was just the roll from the baseball game yesterday. So pretty low value considering they always lose."
It was a poor attempt to make her laugh, since it was universally known that the school baseball team were below average, especially compared to the Yellowjackets, but it seemed to work as she let out a quiet chuckle. I smiled, glad she was cheered up a little.
"Well, sorry anyway," she added politely.
I shrugged. "No harm done."
Another silence fell upon us the remainder of the drive to hers, but it wasn't awkward any longer. Once I pulled up outside her house, I tried not to let my amazement at how huge her place was show. I'd always known she was rich, but this was another level.
"Thanks for the ride," she spoke, pulling me from my stupor.
I met her gaze, expression softening slightly. "You gonna be okay?"
She nodded, and I had no choice but to believe her.
"Okay then. Well, see you tomorrow, Jackie."
She smiled a little before getting out the car and heading inside. Despite her feigned confidence, it was obvious she wasn't happy, and I only hoped she would feel better tomorrow. Whatever had happened between her and Jeff hadn't been like the usual, not judging by the state of her.
Tumblr media
The next day after school was when I had chance to properly check on Jackie. I was at the Yellowjackets' practice, shooting for the yearbook, and she was there too.
"You gonna make us look good, right, Y/L/N?" Nat, one of the players, asked when she saw me heading on the field.
"Always," I returned with a smile, and she grinned as she jogged away to get started.
My eyes scanned the field before I spotted Jackie by the goal, using the post to stretch. I subtly approached her, not wanting to draw too much attention in case she hadn't told anyone about the breakup.
"Hey, Jackie," I greeted her, making her pause from her stretching. "How are you doing? Y'know, about the yesterday thing?"
She smiled gratefully, nodding. "I'm good, Y/N, thanks."
I wasn't sure if she was telling the truth, but I also didn't expect her to confide in me, so I simply nodded.
"Good, well... if you ever wanna talk about it, I'm here."
"Thanks," she said quietly, smile fading a little. "I appreciate it."
I gave her a genuine smile. "Anytime."
And with that, I left her to it, feeling a lot better knowing I'd at least offered up my help.

The Yellowjackets' soccer game was after school at the end of that same week, and I was paying them a visit beforehand to wish them luck and also gift them some candid portraits they'd asked for a few weeks ago.
When I let myself in their locker room, they were pretty much dressed in their uniforms, some helping each other out with braiding their hair back or engaging in some pre-game superstitions. It always made me smile because they never failed to hype themselves up and it showed.
"Heeeeeyyyyy! Y/N's here with our close ups!" someone shouted, and everybody cheered as I rolled my eyes playfully.
First on the pile of photos in my hand was Van, who I found searching in her locker whilst singing along to a song that was blasting from the stereo in the corner.
"There's my favourite goalie," I greeted, and she laughed as I handed her the photograph in a plastic wallet. "For you. The one you liked in the paper, right?"
She straightened up when she saw it, smile brightening on her face. "Oh, hell yeah, this is so badass! Thanks, Y/N!"
"No worries," I said dismissively, before moving around the room to hand out the rest of the photos.
Everybody seemed pleased with what they got, which was always reassuring to hear since it was supposed to be my best skill.
"Last but not least, Jackie," I said, finding the team captain by her locker, fixing her hair in the mirror that hung inside.
She flashed me a smile as I handed her the photograph. In it, she was mid-kicking a ball into the net, scoring a goal for the team.
"Y/N, I love it," she said with gratitude, eyes taking the whole image in before looking up to me. "Thank you."
I held out another photograph, earning a confused look from her. "It's a little bonus photo. Thought it might cheer you up after everything."
She raised her eyebrows slightly, before accepting the photo and studying it. This one was a photo I'd taken at the Yellowjackets' last game, moments after they'd won. Jackie was cheering with her teammates and I'd managed to take the perfect picture of her as she was surrounded by them, a grin on her face, eyes bursting with excitement. It was probably my favourite of the two.
"You didn't need to..." she started, but stopped herself. And then she surprised me with a hug, wrapping her one free hand around my neck. "I really appreciate it."
Before I could even think to hug her back, she pulled away to give me a heartwarming smile.
"Anytime," I told her, acutely aware of the mild butterflies in my stomach from her gaze, but that was merely because I wasn't stupid and Jackie Taylor was very pretty. "If you're ever thinking about you-know-what, just remember. At the end of the day, he's just some guy."
Her smile widened and then she let out a laugh. "Very true. I won't forget."
I smiled, nodding and taking a step back. "I'll leave you to finish getting ready. Good luck tonight. Not that you'll need it."
"Be sure to get my best side," she joked, turning her head to the left.
I laughed. "Jackie Taylor doesn't have a bad side."
She winked playfully, and I left her to it as I headed out to the field to get ready to photograph tonight's game.
Tumblr media
As expected, the Yellowjackets won and I got a lot of good shots in of their winning goals. Even though a lot of the photos were similar to others I'd taken, I didn't mind it as it challenged me to try out different things with my camera, like messing with the shutter speed or even using a double exposure to create cool effects.
After snapping some final shots of the team celebrating on the pitch, I moved out the way of the friends and family who were there with them and focused on changing the roll of film in my camera. Just after rewinding the current roll and opening the back of my camera, I felt someone tap me on the shoulder unexpectedly. Startled yet again, my hands twitched and the roll flew up and out the camera. I managed to catch it before it could fall into the grass, and turned around to find Jackie failing to stifle her laughter.
"I'm sorry, Y/N, I didn't mean to scare you again," she said apologetically.
"Oh, it's fine," I said sarcastically, stuffing the roll into the canister in my pocket. "It's only the winning goals on film."
She sighed through her nose, her lips pursed into an amused smile. "Sorry. I came because the girls wanted a team photo."
I gave her a knowing look. "On it."
After gathering the team together and replacing my film, I took a few photos of them with their medals and trophy before my job was officially done for the afternoon.
"They come out good?" Jackie asked afterwards, as I put my camera away.
"I'd like to think so," I said sarcastically, making her roll her eyes lightheartedly.
"So, the party tonight," she started, piquing my interest. "You're coming, right?"
I quirked a brow. "Huh?"
"It's at the usual spot," she added.
I pursed my lips, unsure how to tell her that though I knew what she was talking about and I'd always been invited, the post-soccer game party wasn't my thing.
"You don't usually come, do you?" she caught on, crossing her arms with amusement.
"It's not really my scene," I admitted.
"Well, d'you wanna perhaps make a change tonight?" she asked, pleading with her eyes. "I'd love to see you there."
I wasn't sure why she suddenly wanted me there – maybe because I'd been extra nice to her recently and she felt she owed me? And I also wasn't sure if she knew the effect she had on people when she gave them her whole 'innocent doe-eyed' look, but maybe she did since it seemed to work.
"Fine," I gave in reluctantly, making her grin. I nodded to my best friend, Y/BF/N, who was sat in the stands as she made notes on tonight's game – she was a journalist for the paper. "Can I bring Y/BF/N?"
"Duh," she said like it was a dumb question. "You're both always welcome."
I nodded. "Okay, I guess I'll see you tonight."
She tilted her head, eyes sparkling with her usual Jackie mischief. "See you tonight."
Tumblr media
"I'm so glad Jackie convinced you," Y/BF/N was saying with excitement as I drove us to the deserted clearing where the party was being held. "I've always wanted to go to one of these things, but you always say no."
"I've literally never stopped you," I said, giving her a sideways glance.
"I couldn't just go without you," she said, in a somewhat sweet way which made me feel guilty for never going to one of these things with her.
"Well, feel free to go crazy tonight," I said with a slight smile. "I'm driving."
"Oh, you bet I will," she said eagerly, making me laugh.
When we got there, the party was in full swing. A bonfire was set up in the middle, with a lot of people from our grade hanging about. Some were dancing, drinking and chatting away, celebrating the Yellowjackets' win. As Y/BF/N and I passed a few of our classmates to reach Jackie and the team, I was reminded why parties weren't my scene, but sucked it up for Y/BF/N.
"And there she is!" Nat shouted, spotting me first and pulling me in for a side hug. "When Jackie told us you were coming, I could swear she was bullshitting."
"It's good to see you too, Nat," I laughed.
"And Y/BF/N is out tonight too," Lottie noticed with a smile. "It's nice to have you both here."
"Anything to support the team," Y/BF/N played along, making everyone laugh. "Now, what's a girl gotta do to get a drink around here?"
As Nat tugged her away to find her a drink, Jackie approached my side and nudged me gently.
"I'm glad you made it," she said, eyes doing a once over of me which admittedly made me nervous. "You look pretty. And it's the first time I've seen you without a camera, who knew it was possible?"
I rolled my eyes, though a smile ghosted my lips. Judging from her stifled grin, she was impressed at her own joke.
"You want a drink?" she offered, already about to leave and grab me one, but I shook my head politely.
"Thanks, but I'm designated driver tonight."
"Me and you both," Shauna said, raising her cup of water.
I cracked a smile as Jackie looked back to me hopefully.
"Okay, well how about a dance?"
I tried to hide my surprise, unsure if I could handle dancing with the Jackie Taylor without freaking out. No, I wasn't insanely head over heels for the girl, but yes, I had eyes and knew I'd get nervous dancing with a flirt like her.
"Maybe when a good song comes on," I settled on the safe response.
She studied me curiously. "Hmm. And what's a good song?"
I listened to the music that was on now, definitely not my style, and truthfully answered, "Definitely not this. Maybe some [your favourite artist]?"
She sighed defeatedly. "Your lucky day. I don't think anybody brought that tape."
I shrugged playfully. "Shame."
It was her turn to roll her eyes, feigning annoyance, but she got me a cup of water nonetheless and I stayed to chat with her, Shauna and a few others in her team. Y/BF/N returned with Nat not long later, and conversation soon changed from the soccer game to the paper. I didn't mind, enjoying talking to them about it all, as did Y/BF/N, but then a few of them were after some more fun 'party' stuff, and headed over to get a little more drunk.
Shauna and I, designated drivers as we'd established, stuck together for most of the evening. She watched as Jackie danced the night away with the others, and I watched as Y/BF/N had the time of her life, flirting with some of the jocks. By the time an hour and a half passed and my social battery had completely drained, Y/BF/N was pretty drunk and I knew we had to leave.
I said my goodbyes to Shauna before finding Jackie to the do the same. She wasn't as drunk as Y/BF/N, but definitely tipsy. As soon as she spun around, a massive grin fell on her lips and she hugged me.
"Okay," I said with surprise, receiving a lot more hugs from Jackie Taylor this past week than I had in my life. "I've gotta get Y/BF/N home now, Jackie. Just wanted to say goodnight."
"Thank you for coming," she said, pulling back with a drunken smile, but alert eyes. "And for the photos you gave me. And in general, for being a really great friend."
Yep, definitely bordering drunk.
"Thanks for inviting me tonight," I said, patting her arm before letting go. "I... liked it."
Okay, maybe not, but she was trying to be nice and I had to return the favour.
Jackie Taylor wasn't stupid though, even in this state, and a quiet chuckle from her told me all I need to know. "You owe me a dance."
"One day, maybe," I breathed out, glancing at her.
She smirked. "I'll take it."
Tumblr media
Jackie had always been friendly with me around school, but since that week, it was as if she made more of an effort to be. Whether it was saying hi to me in the hallways, smiling at me between classes or chatting to me more whenever I was taking photos, she was more involved in my life. I didn't hate it of course, but it was something new.
One weekend, I was running some errands around town when I decided to finish up at one of my favourite coffee shops and treat myself. Armed with my purse and current read, I headed in and ordered myself a mocha with the intention of settling in the corner of the store and having some 'me' time. Of course, when I collected my drink from the counter, a familiar voice called my name and I spun around with furrowed brows.
To my surprise, it was Jackie waving at me from her table by the window, seated opposite Shauna. It felt a little rude to ignore her, so I headed over and smiled at them both.
"Fancy seeing you here," Jackie said with a grin, before motioning next to Shauna. "Join us?"
I glanced at Shauna, who had a welcoming smile on her face, so I replied, "Oh, er, thanks. Good to see you guys!"
As I took my seat, I left my bag next to me, expecting my reading time to become nonexistent now that I'd joined the two soccer players.
"We're not bothering you, are we?" Shauna asked considerately, making me smile with amusement because she was so different to an oblivious Jackie.
"Nah, you're good," I assured her, before looking between them. "What are you two up to then?"
"Oh, just having a girls day," Jackie answered, leaning back in her seat and flashing me her signature smile. "How about you?"
"Just running some errands," I said with a shrug. "Picking up some more film, getting some stuff for my mum, not much."
"So, I take it you finished the English assignment due tomorrow?" Shauna asked.
"Oh, yeah, got that done weeks ago," I said like it was a silly question, and then I saw the look Shauna shot Jackie and realised. "Wait, you haven't finished it?"
Jackie scoffed playfully. "Oh, come on, of course I have!" When Shauna kept staring at her, she continued, "I just need to write the conclusion."
"And the introduction," Shauna mumbled.
"Okay, yes, fine," Jackie gave in. "But it'll be done!"
I quirked a brow at her. "You not even worried? Mr. C isn't known for his leniency."
"Oh, Mr. C does not scare me," she said with assuredness. "Besides, I reckon I can talk him into giving me a two day extension."
I exhaled, trying not to laugh. "Of course you can."
I was convinced that there wasn't something Jackie Taylor couldn't do, and judging by the satisfied smile on her lips, I think she knew it too.
The three of us stayed there as I finished my coffee, and continued to sit there chatting about all sorts. I'd never really hung out with them properly outside of school, so I was oddly surprised with how well we got along.
Eventually, Shauna checked her watch and was sorry to interrupt our fruitless conversation about the rumours regarding our Chemistry teacher and IT teacher hooking up.
"I'm sorry, guys, but I gotta shoot off," she said with a slight frown.
"Oh, no worries," I said, straightening up, ready to leave the booth so she could leave.
"Aw no, really, Shauna?" Jackie said with a pout. "It's not even been an hour!"
"Hey, I'm not stopping you from staying, but you'll have to catch the bus home," Shauna replied with a chuckle, making Jackie scrunch her nose with disgust.
As I got up, letting Shauna stand, I realised what the problem was and looked to Jackie. "I don't mind giving you a ride."
And just like that, her smile returned. "Really?"
I shrugged. "No biggie."
"Awesome, thanks, Y/N," Shauna said gratefully, squeezing my shoulder. "Can't have Princess Jackie stranded without a carriage."
I laughed as Jackie rolled her eyes at the insult, and Shauna tried to hide her smile as she said her goodbyes.
"It's not that funny," Jackie stated, when she saw the smile still on my lips.
"It kind of is," I said with a breathy chuckle.
She crossed her arms, narrowing her eyes at me lightheartedly. Now that we were alone, I figured now was a better time than any to properly check in on her.
"So, how have you been doing?" I asked carefully. "Since the whole you-know-what?"
Unlike the last time I asked her a few weeks ago, she actually seemed to be doing a lot better, no hint of sadness in her eyes. "Pretty good. Think I might be over it now. You know how boys can be."
I hummed, awkward smile forming on my lips as I suddenly distracted myself with whatever was going on outside the window. I failed to remember how observant Jackie was though.
"Wait, have you never had a boyfriend?" she asked with surprise, leaning forward slightly.
I settled with shaking my head, and she tried to make me feel better by shrugging and sipping her milkshake from the straw.
"You're not missing out on much," she assured me.
I couldn't help but snicker, shaking my head, though grateful for her attempt at putting me at ease. "That's what people who've had boyfriends usually say."
She smiled, cheeks dusting pink when I caught her out, and now it was my turn to assure her.
"It's fine," I said nonchalantly. "Boys are gross anyway."
She snorted with amusement. "Amen. It would just be easier to date girls, wouldn't it?"
I was surprised she'd said that, staying quiet for a second too long, and her eyes widened with realisation.
Suddenly embarrassed, she stuttered, "Oh, you like– I mean, you're– you're a–"
"Lesbian?" I finished with an entertained smile. She nodded awkwardly, and I confirmed, "Yeah, but I don't exactly go around shouting it out. People don't tend to react well when they find out."
She exhaled softly, eyes flittering around the table nervously. "Oh. Well, I won't tell anyone if that's what you're worried about."
I shrugged, soaking in a flustered Jackie for a little longer, holding in my laughter. Truthfully, it was very amusing watching her figure out the best reaction because I knew she was harmless. It would have been easy to embarrass her a little more for fun, but she was clearly going through it with her deep pink cheeks, now matching the colour of her lips.
After a moment of collecting herself, her hazel eyes met mine in an attempt to return to normal. "So, are there any girls you're interested in?"
It was impossible not to laugh now as I gave her a questioning look. "Really, Jackie?"
She nodded quickly, eyes returning to the table. "Right. Sorry."
I giggled at her expression before changing the subject, knowing it would definitely make her feel better. Despite my confidence in my sexuality, a small part of me hoped she wouldn't treat me any different after finding out, and thankfully, she didn't. We still chatted like usual, enjoying each other's company, until she finished her milkshake and it was time to head off.
It might have been the sugar from her milkshake, or just her plain inability to sit still, but when I was driving home, she wouldn't stop messing around with the radio stations, trying to find a good song.
"Oh my god, you're driving me insane," I finally said, making her stop.
"Not my fault the radio is garbage," she said in a knowing tone.
I rolled my eyes playfully before nodding to the centre console. "I have some cassettes. Find something you like and please stop breaking my radio."
She smiled cheekily before doing just that, flicking through the tapes I had. Finally, she decided on some Mariah Carey and managed to keep quiet the rest of the way. Occasionally she'd hum along, but I much preferred that over her touching the radio a million times.
When we reached her house, I pulled up outside and offered her a smile. "Was cool hanging out with you and Shauna today."
"It was," she agreed, before grabbing her purse and resting her hand on the door handle. "We should do it again sometime."
I shrugged, not minding, and her smile widened before she got out.
Leaning her head down to look at me through the open window, she added, "Thanks for the ride. Again."
I cleared my throat, a smile ghosting my lips as I said, "In the wise words of Shauna Shipman, we can't have Princess Jackie stranded without a–"
"Ass," she mumbled, leaving before I could finish, but a smile crossed her expression as I laughed to myself.
I suppose hanging out with Jackie Taylor wasn't so bad.

Heartsong
Everyone dreams of finding the other half of their heartsong. You know your heartsong from birth, grow up surrounded by the music that is you, and after a certain age, you're always listening for the one person in all the world--your soulmate--whose song exactly matches yours.
My sister found her soulmate in kindergarten; all through school, they sat by each other as often as they could, their heartsongs all the brighter for being shared.
I know girls who tricked themselves half a dozen times into thinking that they'd found the one, only noticing the clashing notes of their songs after the relationship had crashed and burned.
There are entire streaming services for heartsongs--in college, my friends listened to almost nothing else, waiting desperately to hear the song that would align with theirs.
I was no different than other girls. I tried all the usual tactics. I developed a good ear--maybe too good, because I always noticed the subtle differences in the closest matches. I dated a few of those, hoping the theory would prove true that heartsongs could develop over time so we'd grow to match each other. Every one of those relationships ended the moment the guy heard the heartsong of his true soulmate.
I went to countless social events. I tried the sites online. I even did a bit of world traveling, in case my soulmate had been hiding all this time on the other side of the globe.
As year after year (after year after year after year) went by with no success, I was forced to accept the truth--I had no soulmate.
Maybe my soulmate had died. Maybe I was too strange to have a match. However it had happened, I was a superfluous person, doomed to be always alone.
The revelation crushed me at first. I was strange, unlovable, incomplete. I was half a person whose heartsong would never be whole.
My mom came over the night of my revelation and found me weeping on the floor of my kitchen. She hugged me, let me cry, and then cooked me a meal.
By the time my tears had dried enough to let me take a bite of the spaghetti, I noticed her heartsong was clearer than ever--and it meshed with mine. It wasn't a match--it was better than that. My heartsong served as a descant to hers, our two melodies blending into a new song.
After that, I stopped trying to listen for one specific song, and started listening to every song. My friends had heartsongs that blended with mine in different ways--when a group of us were together, we became a symphony. My brother's heartsong was a lower version of mine--our growing up together had given us a shared bond. When the grocery store cashier and I shared a laugh, for just a moment, our heartsongs fell into harmony.
There was not one song, one relationship, that defined and completed my life. Every relationship was important. Every relationship was beautiful.
It's possible, I suppose, that my soulmate is out there. Maybe one day I'll hear that song that perfectly matches mine, and enjoy a bond that different than any of the others in my life.
But if I don't find him, it doesn't matter.
Because I'm more than one half of an incomplete song.
I am a vital part of countless symphonies.

Beware of my bad grammar cause I didn’t proofread it…
❥ Smut ➯ Fluff
❥ Male reader
❥ If you aren't comfortable with this then skip this chapter.
☆ (I didn't know how to start this or transition to the smut good lol)
☆This for my friend, I know your reading this, you whore...
꧁☆꧂
As a member of the ADA you weren't supposed to be communicating with the 'enemy' but here you are, dating a Port Mafia member. Not just any Port Mafia member, it was an executive of the Port Mafia: Chuuya Nakahara. You of course tried to keep your relationship away from the ADA but of course Ranpo found out about it. You ended up getting Ranpo snacks daily with the promise of him keeping this secret quite.
You and Dazai were assigned to a mission together to defuse a threat, you weren't one of the agents that went out on missions a lot so you where kinda rusty. You where just finishing up with the clean up and Dazai decided to ask you out for a drink, you happily said yes not expecting Chuuya to be home anytime soon like usual.
You where a bit tipsy but you where able to get Dazai home and made it home yourself. As you entered your shared apartment it was dark, as usual he wasn't home. The lights soon flicked on blinding you for a couple of seconds from the sudden change in the environment. Then you felt a pair of arms grabbing both your wrists and pinning you to the front door. "Your late." He was clearly angry from your tardiness. He was clearly trying to come home early as a surprise for you. "I'm sorry Chuuya, it just some of my colleagues wanted to celebrate a successful mission toda-."
"Let me guess, you where with him weren't you?" These words confused you, what did he mean by him?
"Don't look at me like you don't know who I'm talking about." He was clearly jealousy of someone close to you but the only person you could think about was Dazai, could he be jealous of him? "Are you talking about Dazai? Chuuya, you don't have to worry about him, no one can ever take your place." This seemed to make him more pissed then he already was, then an idea came into mind making him smile. "I'll make sure no one does." He let go of one of your wrist and harshly grabbed the other one dragging you to the bedroom and pushing you on the bed, placing his hat somewhere and pinned you under him. "Do I have your consent?"
"Consent for what?" The alcoholic must have made you really stupid this time. "How much did you drink to get this stupid? Whatever, do I have your consent to do it with you?" Now you where more confused 'do it with you?' What did he mean by... oh, oh! Was he trying to- this made your face change into a bright red make Chuuya smile. "You finally understand, you idiot. So is it a yes or no?" You didn't know what to say, you have never had sex with anyone, you barely even jerked off.
You started to ponder his question making him get more pissed off then he was before. You slowly nodded your head yes making him less angry with you. "But darling, I need a actual yes." You where literally about to do anything for this man. "Ok Chuuya. You have my consent." You don't even know how many ideas popped into your lovers head once you said that.
He took off his gloves and began to work on taking off your tie unbuttoning your shirt. You didn't know what to do with yourself besides laying there. His cool hands soon touched your bare chest making you shudder at the touch. "Your hands are cold!" He seemed unaffected by your response, you where about to speak until he pushed his lips on to yours. He was intoxicating, he licked your bottom lip asking for access to slip his tongue in but you didn't let him. He became inpatient and bit your bottom lip making you gasp, he took this chance to slip his tongue in. You both parted, as you began gasping for breath he stared working on your neck. Planting kisses and hickey's all over your neck and jaw making you slightly moan. He worked his way down leaving a trail of kisses, all the way down to your pants.
The amount of butterfly's in your stomach. You couldn't even think about anything other then him, you where frozen in place. He slowly began to pull your pants down, pulling you from your trance. "Chuuya! Let's reconsider this! I mean, I have work tomorrow and all! And- um..." You began to try and find any excuse for him not to continue. You had work tomorrow and you didn't want to show up with bruises and bite on your neck. "You can just say your sick." You knew he wasn't going to stop until he was satisfied with you.
He pounded at your rear like an animal. He had a fist full of your hair, pulling your head up in order to hear you pleads and cry's for him to stop. His other hand was on your wrist pulling your arm to make sure you can't claw away from him. He had you bend over the bed, moaning as he fucked you mindless. He started saying things under his breath. You could barely make out what he was saying but the stuff you did hear was along the lines of "Shitty Dazai" "Your mine" and "I won't let him keep you away from me that long ever again." You could tell he got really possessive over you just because you spent most of your day with Dazai.
You where moaning your heart out as he pounded your prostrate without mercy then suddenly he went down on you and bit you on the shoulder drawing blood. Tears treated to spill from your eyes from how much pain and pleasure you where feeling at this moment. Then Chuuya suddenly pulled out of you, leaving your insides to feel empty and unsatisfied. He then flipped you onto your back, he took you by your hands and intertwined his fingers with you. He leaned down to your ear and started to whisper something into your ear "I'm going to fuck you so hard the you'll be seeing stars, my little doll." You knew instantly that you wouldn't be able to work tomorrow. Chuuya then stood up straight once more and slammed his cock into you and began to pound away at you like an animal once more.
You didn't know how many rounds you both did or how many times you came. Maybe 7? 5? 9? 11? 6? You couldn't tell anymore. Chuuya was underneath you with his hands on your waist making you ride him. All you could hear was his small grunts, your loud moans, and the sound of skin slapping. You soon felt your climax coming. Chuuya noticed this and started to move you faster and jerked you off with one of his other hands. He sat up from the bed with you still on his cock and pulled you close again and whispered in your ear "Cum for me doll..." He didn't have to say that twice, you instantly came once asked. You that had a feeling that Chuuya was planning something now. He stopped moving you, just leaving his cock in your hole waiting for something. You waited a while and started to believe he was done with you until he lifted you up and slammed you back down on his cock. He repeated this process until he came hard inside you once again.
Your body started to twitch and shudder from the feeling of being filled to the brim once again. He pulled out his soften dick out of you and gave you a kiss. "You did so well [Name]." Chuuya mumbled in between his kisses, after he pampered you with kisses he laid you down on the bed and when to the bathroom. You heard the water run for awhile then it stopped and Chuuya came back, using his ability to lift you to the bathroom and set you down in the now filled tub. He placed a kiss on your forehead and spoke "I'm sorry... I was a bit rough with you, doll." You gave him a smile full of sympathy and then spoke "It's fine Chuuya, but I still don't know how you top me when you are the size of a child." You mocked him but he didn't seem to care at the moment, he only cared about how you felt right now.
You both where now cleaned up and ready for bed, even though the sun was starting to rise you both where going to sleep anyways. You especially needed it, "Chuuya... How are you so short yet so dominant went it comes to sex?" You mocked him, you watched as he visibly got angry and then smirk. You where in for it now, he gave you a hug which you thought was innocent enough until he bit your shoulder making you wince in pain. He left you standing there stunned as he walked into bed and clawed under the covers.
You joined him in bed and he started to cuddle you. "Remember this doll, if you ever hand out with Dazai that much ever again. I'll make sure to fuck you mindless." He smirked at his statement, he didn't have to tell you twice about that. You promised yourself you wouldn't hang out with Dazai that long ever again, you didn't want to get fucked like that ever again.
Chuuya was pampering your face with kisses and whispering sweet nothings into your hair lulling you to sleep.

maybe “i gave up everything for you!” Sentence with Jack? I’m a sucker for anything arguing or angst. Love your writing!!!
First off, thank you my love. I appreciate you so much for that. 🥹💕
This was when they were at odds after the whole Anitta thing and Jack was basically being an asshole towards her and this takes place after She Gets the Last Word Part 3.
"So, how long are you going to ignore me, Jackman?" You asked as he was scrolling through his phone. He didn't even send you as much as a glance before he responded.
"No one is ignoring you."
"But you aren't talking to me either. I already apologized for breaking my promise towards you so what is the problem?"
"I just don't have anything to say to you right now."
"And why is that? Inquiring minds would like to know."
"This is about to turn into a damn argument and I can see it from a mile away. I am not feeding into it either."
"Literally no one is arguing. All I did was ask you a question."
Jack threw his phone to the side to finally look up at you.
"And I gave you an answer. Problem is it's not the answer you want, but that's not my fucking problem."
"You don't have to be an asshole towards me because I didn't do anything to you." You muttered while crossing your arms and all Jack did was scoff.
"You sure about that?"
"What the fuck are you on? It's almost as if you like her disrespecting me and our marriage since you have not one time told her off and put her in her place. And you want to get mad when I actually do whoop her ass? Make it make sense. We are supposed to protect each other and all you've been doing is leaving me out to dry."
"A bit fucking dramatic don't you think?"
"How am I being dramatic when I'm speaking facts? I'm convinced you don't love me anymore."
"You cannot be serious. So now you don't think I love you?"
"That's what I said isn't it?" You could feel your eyes watering but were determined not to let them fall.
"Y/N, cut the bullshit and I mean seriously. We're married. I take care of you and get you anything you want. Let's be serious, if I didn't want you, I would have dropped you a long time ago."
"Who are you and what have you done to my husband who actually gave a fuck about me and about my feelings? I don't know what happened, but ever since earlier this year we have not been on the same page. I gave up everything for you! Anything that you need or want, I would do it for you. Even me trying to further my own career and I still put your ass first!"
"And who the fuck told you to do that, huh? Because I sure didn't."
"Because we're MARRIED the last time I checked! What do you even mean!? Didn't we exchange vows? Or were you not paying attention during that part? All I want for you is to see you succeed but I can tell it's not reciprocated."
"You are literally being dramatic for no reason. I love you and want to see you succeed. Now is that all?"
"You…." You stopped yourself and simply shook your head before continuing.
"You are so fucking ungrateful that it's ridiculous and this is EXACTLY what I didn't want to happen. You got a little bit of success and it's gone to your big ass head. You might be 6'3 but baby I swear I will bring you down to my height if you don't stop disrespecting me and this marriage."
"As always, resorting to violence because that's all you know how to do. You're a fucking adult so act like it."
"And when I do, my husband ignores me. Do me a favor and do not sleep in the same bed as me."
"I'll do you one better because I have a flight to catch later tonight so you don't have to worry about that. Maybe that will give you some time while I'm gone to grow the fuck up."

Keep Me Close (Tech x Reader)

*BELOW THE CUT THERE ARE SPOILERS FOR S2 EP 8: TRUTH AND CONSEQUENCES*
A/N: Happy Valentine's Day, babes! I'm hitting two mynocks with one stone: writing something short and sweet for my favorite Batcher and processing my emotions over [redacted].
Description: Tech x Fem!Reader Batcher, semi-established relationship (there's an unspoken thing *wink*) | Warnings: none, hurt+comfort fluff | Word count: 804 | Gif credit: user dreamswithghosts
★ Bad Batch Tag List ★ @dantes-devil-huntress @sageislostinspring @sweetheart-bo (comment to be added!)
Imagine being unable to sleep, upset by Echo's departure, and turning to Tech for comfort
The ship was stuffy. Your mind was full. The future was uncertain. It was the perfect mixture of reasons to be restless.
You'd removed the top half of your blacks and tied it around your waist, putting on a tank top in hopes of cooling down. Sitting on the lowered ramp of The Marauder, you stared into the misty night sky, feeling trapped by the stale silence. Your eyes began to sting, emotions starting to overcome you. How could so much have changed so quickly?
The sound of footsteps pulled you from your troubled thoughts, and you didn't have to turn around to know who approached. The rapid tapping of gloved fingers on a datapad was enough for you to recognize him.
"You are unable to sleep," Tech says.
It wasn't a question. He'd just stated it as a fact, as he did with most things.
"Not really," you answer, quickly wiping at your eyes.
"I suspect there is a reason," he begins, sitting down beside you, "Would it ease your mind if you shared your concerns with me?"
Your heart skipped at the prospect, and at how near he was.
"I'll be alright, really," you hesitate, trying to compose yourself.
"The tension in your voice and your constrained body language suggests otherwise," he replies, putting away his datapad.
You can't help but chuckle, "Nothing gets past you, does it?"
"Not really," he parrots your words. He removes his helmet and puts it aside. You're surprised to see he's smiling ever-so-slightly.
You sigh, trying put your many thoughts into words. "We've all lost so much. After all our fighting and all our running, sometimes I've wondered what it was all for. But I thought as long as we stayed together, things would be alright. We would figure it out because together we had hope. Now, I'm afraid that we've lost it."
Tech pushes up his goggles before responding.
"I know it may seem that way, but Echo did not leave because he had no hope," he offers, "He believes that there are better ways apart from this squad that he can help preserve hope, and if he is successful, pass it on to others."
"I thought we were already doing that," you reply, shaking your head, "I know we have to be careful, especially for Omega's sake, and we can't fight The Empire the same way others can, but I thought we were making some kind of difference."
"Echo's departure does not necessarily signify failure in our pursuits."
"But aren't we stronger together than apart?" you ask, looking to him.
Tech blinks slowly, visibly weighing your question. Surely he is bothered by all this too?
"Theoretically, yes. But our objections cannot change what has happened," he admits.
Your gaze falls back to your boots, shame setting in. How selfish you must sound. "You're right. I don't think less of Echo. Truly I don't," you say, holding your arms, "I just don't want to lose this squad, and I really don't want to lose..."
You were desperate to say it, but the word caught in your throat. Tears threaten to return. This is not how it was supposed to go. Squeezing your eyes shut, you bow your head, hoping he wouldn't see your entire façade crumbling.
You nearly jump as you feel his hand gently clasp your shoulder. You look up to see his soft brown eyes, full of warmth and understanding.
"I do not have plans to go any place where you cannot also be," he affirms, "And I intend to never make such plans."
A tear slips down your cheek as you choke back a sob. Whatever was left of your composure, he'd just destroyed it, and somehow it was the push you needed.
You lean over to rest your head on his chest. You hold your breath as you feel him tense up at the contact. Fear washes over you that you've gone too far, and you're about to sit up, but then he carefully wraps his arm around you, holding you close.
You purse your lips, trying not to grin. How long you had waited for this moment. Heart racing, you close your eyes and wish for time to stop. So many words had passed between you over the months, but now you could barely speak.
"Tech?" you breathe.
"Yes?"
"I never want to make those kinds of plans either," you say, relaxing into him more.
"It's settled then," he confirms, proceeding to rest his chin upon the top of your head.
It was settled. You knew with absolute certainty that this is where you wanted to be. You were stronger together, and no matter what became of the galaxy, together you and Tech would stay.

lavish is perfect for tøp, and a nice contrast to lane boy
I'll start by being honest that it was very, very hard for me to understand the lyrics since I'm not really into celebrity culture and i didn't even know what a capri sun was until a few weeks ago (don't kill me lol)
overall, lavish is about living a luxurious life, in a moment to another, like a flash. "welcome to the new way of living" implies this wasn't always the case. that they were once small and humble. and that's why i think this song is perfect for tøp
the main reason I'm obsessed with this band is because of the way they act. there were days when no one knew of twenty øne piløts, and then their songs started to get popular (think stressed out) and of course their income would also grow. but they never seemed to let it go to their heads.
most celebrities would move to big cities or buy mansions or do plastic surgery, things celebrities do just to show off, but tyler and josh and their families haven't. they still live in the town they grew up in (josh lived in LA for a bit but i don't think he ever bragged about it yk), they still care for their families and support their local businesses. they haven't sold out and they always do things such as give shout outs to crew members and stage staff, which is just so sweet
at first, i thought lavish might be this era's lane boy, talking about fame and success like the hazmats in gas masks that tried to keep tyler under their command. but then i realized: it's the opposite. while lane boy is about the pressure that artists feel over their work not being made for the industry, lavish is about taking advantage of the industry to live a materialistic life (it has lots of name drops and fancy slangs, as well as the mv being about the shop signs, which are supposed to advertise what's on the inside. empty lyrics show an empty mind)
and of course I'll talk about the infamous line: the proctologist thing. at first i was so confused but i think I've figured it out, kinda. besides being a cool way to say "f*ck you", it's also a reference to how celebrities will use drama to prompt their careers, building an empire on meaningless discussions and scandals
it is perfect. i love josh and tyler and I'm so happy to see that they have good values

hiiii jade! i absolutely adore your writing, and when i saw you might be taking blurb requests i had to jump on it lol
can i request maybe a little blurb where reader goes to pick up her bf remus at the airport after a long time apart/being long distance for several months?
i hope thats not too specific, and please feel free to ignore it if it doesn't inspire you!
thanks gorgeous!
You might have worried that a long separation would make things fall apart. Remus would want things you couldn't offer over the phone, or he'd find someone at his university that was more interesting, but one conversation kept you going, one confession.
If you can't do it, I won't go, he'd said.
You hadn't known what he meant at first, still mulling over the idea of his being away for so long. What?
It wasn't fathomable. It was everything he'd ever worked toward, the peak of his career, the culmination of all his successes. You honestly thought before he said it that you wouldn't have a choice. Either you had to make it work for you or he'd leave you to live his life.
But no. If it means we won't last, I won't go, he'd clarified, looking you in the eye, his lips hooked into one of his fond smiles. You're more to me than any of it. If we can't stretch the distance, I'll stay home. I'm happy to stay home.
Obviously, he had to go. But it's a lot to know you're loved like that, so deeply he'd give up everything he worked for just to keep you. You'd never make him choose, and hence began the longest, most heart-breaking five months of your life. Every time you were supposed to visit him plans fell through. Each time he tried to come back there were things to do. But you know he got on his plane home, and you're pretty sure you know which escalator he's going to come down. You wait at the bottom of it, waiting, waiting. You start to worry he's somewhere else.
"You come here often?" a warm voice asks from beside you.
You flinch. "That's not funny!" you hiss, but then you get a good look at him and have to fight to stave off tears. Remus stands next to you, suitcase to his left, backpack weighing down his shoulders. He looks tired, but excitement lightens his eyes.
Five months you will never, ever get back, and Remus is still so handsome.
"Dove," he says. You almost forgot how he says it, like it's yours alone to be called. "Lovely, come here."
You step into his arms: too much, too rough, almost chinning him as he grabs you. "Remus," you say in a gasp, startled as he bends back under your weight and your heels rise off of the floor. "Don't! Don't do that, I'm gonna crush you."
He sets you back down carefully, but he doesn't say much, and he certainly doesn't let you go. You don't notice his quiet at first. You're too busy being selfish, soaking in the realness of his arms, the rigidity of his biceps and his forearms wrapped around you.
"Was your flight okay?" you ask, tipping your head back.
"It was fine." A silver shine of tears nestles between his soft lashes. "It felt long."
"Don't cry," you say, again startled. "Remus, don't be upset. I'll start crying too and then we'll be that couple who cries on each other at the airport."
He smiles and a tear rolls down his cheek. "I missed you. What was I thinking? What was I," —he scrubs at his eyes roughly— "thinking, I could be away from you that long?"
You wipe his eyes much more gently. "I love you."
"I love you too," he says, leaning down for a kiss.
Your first kiss in five months has a lot to live upto. You'd been the one crying as you said goodbye at the airport, and Remus had left you with a kiss to remember, firm and sweet with his hands on either side of your face, as if to say, everything will be alright.
You have to do the reassuring now. You weave your fingers into the soft mop of his sandy brown hair, his gentle curls, brushing them away from his cheek as you kiss him. It's definitely too open of a kiss for a public place and you're both prone to shyness, so after a few stolen seconds of heat you break the kiss to hide your face in his collar.
"Please don't go away again."
Remus laughs and sniffles. "No. I don't think I'd survive it."

Meetings (Fierce)
Pairing: Fierce x reader
Rating: G
Summary: You don the mask only for it to be ripped away mid battle. The boys are able to save you but the mask is broken. Fierce tries to check on you to varying success rates.
Warnings: Canon typical violence, nothing too bad
Other: If I missed anything, please let me know
-------
Fierce has known about you since the first night you joined his host. He knows you see Time as family - but oh, Fierce thinks of you as an angel on earth. Perhaps a deity yourself.
You are unlike any of the boys. Unlike anyone he's ever met.
Your hands take his mask prison, gentle with new calloused forming. You're crying as you raise the mask to your face.
(Y/n)!" Time calls, "You don't have to-"
"I do." You say, pressing the mask to your face.
You scream - Fierce wishes it wasn't such a shock to gain his power. That it didn't hurt everyone who does this.
Hello, dear one. Let me help.
Your own thoughts greet him, 'Please just help. I need to protect them.'
I'll help you.
'Do you- really drive people mad?' You question, and it hurts him.
But he cannot lie to you.
When someone chooses unearned cruelty, I do.
And then you seem to relax. His power seeps into you, turning your eyes pure white and your hair turning to match.
He guides you, regretting every moment you might possibly be in danger.
He loses track of time.
The blood you shed under his helping hand is a sin.
One he will bear proudly as long as you make it out.
He hears your scream as something pulls his mask off of you against both your will and his.
It all goes black.
He is still attached to you, jist enough to feel you still fight. To hear someone call your name- his host.
He can feel from Time that you are safe. See out of Time's second open eye. Something is very wrong- but you and the others are safe...
Good.
.......
You are curled into the cloak Time set around your shoulders, the older man more than a little worried for you.
Warriors sits on your left, allowing you to lean against him as your body recovers.
"I'm so sorry. I should have -" You start an unneeded apology again.
"You did everything right. I've never had the mask ripped from me mid use- you protected us all. Long enough for us to heal and save you." Time says firmly.
"But I lost the-"
"We'll get it back. Right now, our concern is you." Time reassures, "Please. You need to rest."
You are too tired to really argue. Too far gone from the fight and the sudden ripping of the mask.
You feel a presence, tensing. It's strong, almost intimidating.
"Guys-"
The boys are already moving, swords drawn as they're push to their feet.
Warriors and Wild stand in front of and behind you, keeping your exhausted form safe.
From the tree line, a large Hylian figure holding what looks to be two halves of a mask emerges.
He's tall- insanely tall. Like, eight foot tall.
His hair is white.
His eyes - even from thirty feet away are unnaturally snow colored.
His face is covered in markings - the markings of f the mask you'd just used.
"Hello, young one." The man says, his voice like rolling thunder.
"You're free." Time says, sounding genuinely surprised.
"I am."
"Who-" you start, but you already know. This is the fierce deity.
"How?" Warriors asks, his own experience with the mask harrowing for him. More from the necessity than the deity himself.
"The mask broke. Where are they?"
"Where is who, Fierce?" Time asks, moving between the deity and the group.
"(Y/n). Never before has the mask been so suddenly ripped off during combat. Are-... Do you think I would harm you, Link?"
The deity sounds curious. Maybe just a little hurt. His gaze is stoney, but he dosen’t seem like he's itching for a fight either.
Time stares at him, "You're free for the first time in years. I don't know what you'll do."
"I would never hurt you. You are mine. My young hero."
"I'm not so young these days."
"No, I suppose not. You go by Time now, yes?"
"I do."
"Time, I do not wish to cause harm. "
Time seems weary, but he nods slowly as he takes one large side step so Fierce can survey the group.
Weapons are still clutched.
Wild and Warriors still flank you on either side, almost daring the deity to try to attack.
"(Y/n)." Fierce says, his eyes drawn to you, "are you hurt?"
"No... Hyrule helped me."
"Were you hurt then?"
"Some."
Fierce moves slowly, caution as he walks to you. Stopping a few inches away.
He reaches, gently, to touch your face. The back of his knuckles rest on your cheek as he stares at you.
"I truly apologize. For any harm I caused to you."
"I'd be worse off. Thanks for helping me."
"You, my dear one, I will always help."
Warriors blinks, confused, surprised, and a little disturbed.
You stare wide-eyed at the man before you, something about a war deity being so gentle is sweet. You're not sure you deserve it... but you appreciate it a lot.
"Thank you."
"They need to sleep still." Time says, "Ypu know what your mask does to people- did. What it did."
Fierce simply nods, "You had all better rest. I will keep watch as you sleep."
"I don't-" Warriors starts only for you to cut him off.
"Thank you. We do all need the rest." You say with a soft smile.
"Then you shoukd rest. I will keep you safe until you all are naturally rested."

"flowers without pollen."
"i laughed a bit i'm sorry."

"i'm sorry y/n... we'll keep this as a backup idea so we can continue looking for something better and less... life threatening?"

"god he dumps the pressure of the swim team's success on you as if he isn't the literal COACH."
"for real like y/n is human too... hello?"
"yeah, then when we got to the cafe we had a mini argument over who was gonna pay but the cashier suggested to pay for our own, so that's what we did."
"you're so... anti-romantic."
"what? what did i do??"
"you're supposed to pay for her regardless, like never back down."
"NEVER BACK DOWN NEVER WHAT?"
"NEVER GIVE UP!!"
"but it was a date that dani asked for, so? kinda cancels out right, wony?"
"hm... i guess.. anyways, continue, y/n."
"well... yeah after i updated wony via text when i was in the toilet, we mostly talked about our interests and stuff. so me and movies, music, and mostly swim."
"90% swim. you might've bored her to death..."
"don't say that!"
"i'm being honest! she might've thought you were a fish in your past life or something..."
"she brought up swim in the conversation first actually! she said she swims a lot whenever she goes back home to australia during the summers."
"well isn't that a lovely surprise? match made in heaven!"
"match made in ocean.."
"she definitely knows how to keep y/n hooked that's for sure."
"oh yeah... great pair in that sense!"
"what were the other interests she talked about?"
"flowers, plants, nature in general! she's so outdoorsy."
"this is so ironic 'cause didn't you almost fail biology?"
"so that's where the park part came from..."
"no i did not almost fail bio... it just simply is my lowest scoring subject okay..."
"whatever you say!"
"but yeah that's when she brought up the park, and i just couldn't say no. she was talking about how this specific flower only bloomed in autumn and she wanted to see it at its first day."
"you didn't bother telling her you had an allergy?"
"she sounded so excited you guys i didn't want to ruin that... and i guess i kinda wanted to see the flowers too, they were really pretty! i'll show you pics."
"you couldn't say no to flowers... so you just put your life at risk instead?"
"i had a mask! and i didn't think it'd react that bad again."
"right."
"so yeah that's all that happened, really."
"sounds like you had a fun enough time to almost kill yourself!"
"OH MAN....."
"YES I DID! okay? i did have a fun time! she's really nice, cute, pretty, outgoing and all. we talked about going to a different nature park to rent bikes next time."
"i'm kicking my feet in the air right now you guys have no idea."
"we do actually."
"and don't bother showing us."
"yeah we can go a day without seeing your feet gyu."
"I DIDN'T EVEN OFFER?"
"you'd do it whether we liked it or not, unfortunately."
"she's right on that... AND DID YOU SAY NEXT TIME?"
"SHE DID!!"
"weren't we supposed to be finishing work so we could be free tomorrow? right we were! isn't that right, wony?"
"but... but that's... fine, yeah."
"wonderful! let's get back to work then!"
