I finally busted out the India Ink I bought a few years ago and never used until today in my sketchbook. I will DEFINITELY be playing around with it more because this was so much fun. My sketchbook is unfortunately not made for multiple washes but idc.

I feel as if I’ve been sculpting out a lot of concepts and vibes for smile avenue over the past weeks

From left to right, Cirrus Storm, Daisy Daring, and Acher (pronounced Acre) Core

And then we have the moon and his wife the sea

Going to go on a quick tangent, in relation to smile avenue, under the cut :~)

I do not have many images drawn of what it’d look like- but I have a handful of references!

Smile Avenue is stuck between the nook and the cranny of “what-now?” And “where’s-that?”. Being the last stop on a train ride

There’s a solid 15 people there. but, despite the size, it’s relatively well known. Being for its fish & sites.

Smile Avenue would be given the nick name “the moons picnic”, due to how clear the moon was (especially when full). It’s often speculated on who the moon is having this picnic -or if he’s just having it by himself (more to him!)- but if you were to ask anyone there; they’d say the sea

The show itself would run from 1969 to the tail end of the 80s. Being created by Mr.ButtonsWorth, whose office was told to hold much more then was letting on.

Mr.ButtonsWorth had started the “show” much earlier, at the very least the concepts- back in 1955. In the form of dental PSAs, using puppets and bit of stop motion to appeal. He would grow attached to these characters- and would soon peruse puppetry full time apposed to dentistry

Back on smile avenue itself, the town didn’t run on any currency, mostly favors or trades (I pat your back you pat mine). And any money it did end up making got sent back into the town for repairs and of the like.

To pull back the curtain a tad, the general design of the landscape of smile avenue was inspired by eye spy books, along with the homes. (Plus some disjointed memory’s I have, very personal design wise)

While I’m not entirely sure what smile avenue would teach, it’d likely focus on biology to a degree.along with math,reading, kindness- you get the point!

The main three, shown in the beginning, tended to be the most potent in episodes, but every had a time to shine

Gotta get back in the habit of doing oc stuff this year! I’ve been feeling the bug slowly coming back to me so I’m hoping I’ll be getting to some long sat-upon asks soon. Originally I was hoping to do a Fanplane-February event thing but I might still be too burnt out to do an “official” thing, but I do want to talk about my fanplane(s) more (aka develop more and make new ones!)

reread Ekleipsis bc I got some very nice comments on it and wanted to revisit it 2 years later and u know what?? I think it still holds up p well! There are slight typos and parts I wish I could’ve lengthened, foreshadowed more, or gotten Deep into the lore/characters abt, but considering I was busting out a chapter a day and had it done in a dang month I do think it’s pretty good as a lil story!! Would love to do more art for it or revisit the world in some way some day. Babies first real Big Original work 🥺 in my mind it’s still kind of the first draft version, but I’m still proud regardless… ❣️

SCHOOL-SIDE STAYCATION! ☆

AKA: Ashi’s 1K follower event! hosted by: 🌺🦊🛍️

EVENT SUMMARY:

“Say, haven’t you ever gotten tired of all the strenuous, brain-numbing labor that comes with being an NRC student? Then, say no more~.”

Night Raven College’s new student-ran event, hosted by Ashi Tamadai, the Ramshackle prefect, Niko Cimarron, a Scarabia second year, and Atlan Trein, a Pomefiore second year, introduce to you a courtyard makeover! Decorated with cheerful decorations that’ll put you in a mood to kick back and relax, this program is meant to bring the student body together, to make some happy school memories!

“Don’t forget, an important part is the fact that there’s like, no magic needed. So tell everyone you know! You don’t want to be the only one NOT going, right?!”

At this school-side staycation, students are welcome to tan on some chairs, buy a pawpsicle to enjoy in the hot, late summer sun, or even just sit and chat with friends! Anything is welcome here— A karaoke session is planned, and so is a water balloon fight! The point is to relax. No magic is needed to have fun, and it’s preferred if you didn’t use any at all. All classes are cancelled and even the teachers and staff are bound to swing by! Isn’t that so kind of the people who organized it?

EVENT RULES:

Anyone is welcome to join!

Pretty much everything can be an entry; artworks, fan made cards, drabbles, edits, etc etc. As long as it’s appropriate, does not have anything NSFW, and doesn’t have any sensitive content. It’s supposed to be a lighthearted party!

Utilizing parts of the event are highly appreciated, but defo not needed. For example, if you were to draw your character in the midst of a water balloon fight, eating a pawpsicle, etc etc. Just ideas, but no pressure!

All characters can be used for this event. Canon characters (staff, side characters like RSA, etc), and of coursies any OCs/yuus! I don’t mind any multiple entries for a canon character either. Have funsies!

The dress code is not strict at all. The only necessary thing is that you must wear something bright and/or colorful. Tis an Ashi rule! Otherwise, it’s completely fine if it’s just a slight variation of the NRC uniform, or maybe a completely new outfit nonetheless. I’m not one to judge your fashion choices.

If you want to interact with my characters, here’s what they’ll most likely be up to:

🌺: Since she’s the actual host, Ashi will most likely be walking around and chatting up with everyone. Open to taking pictures, hyping up the crowd, announcing when the water balloon fight and karaoke will be starting— You’ll most likely find her basically doing everything she can. She’ll be there the entire time!

🦊: As the co-host of the event, Niko will also be walking around and be there all day, additionally with the fact that he’ll be selling his pawpsicles. And advertising them. To everyone. No matter what, he’ll probably walk up to your character and every character in attempts to sell something. He’s not as hyped up as Ashi, but he’s 100% enjoying his time.

🛍️: Atlan, despite only being recruited to spread word of the day off, can be pretty easily found within the crowd at the celebration. He’s trying his best to talk, despite the fact that he’s hiding behind a wall and his oresama aura. If you were to walk up to him and start a conversation, he’d be flustered but reply excitedly.

🎃Can you find the Pumpkin King?🎃

Event Summary

It’s that time of year again in Twst, hearing about what happened last time with endless Halloween ghosts invited NRC to their kingdom to participate in their grand activities.

Their biggest event is to a scavenger hunt to find the Pumpkin King.Everyone has been split up into groups and will start at the castle where the king is supposed to be.Travel around the kingdom solving puzzles, gathering clues and having fun but be warned there are many tricks along the way, you may even see some fake Pumpkin Kings.

Most of the kingdom will be playing along acting worried for their king, providing clues and secrets. Talking to the right person may get you some treasures. Of course having you making you do something for them to gain information.

This year Yuya has been appointed the Pumpkin King. The thing is no one knows what Yuya will look like and their face will be covered. Yuya can also play tricks on teams with what the ghost has given them. Who knows they might just slip under your noses.Once actually found and the group completes the final mission Yuya will lead them to the treasure and the Halloween party can finally start now that the king has returned.

Rules and dress code.

As this is a Halloween event everyone must be dressed up in costumes. People can choose what costumes they want just No pumpkin themed costumes like a pumpkin witch with the exception of Grim and make sure to keep it appropriate.

a/n: here’s part 1 of my series yall 🙌🏾 if you’ve been following me for a while i already have written abt these characters, paige and alara, this is series is like how they meet and how their relationship develops with rya and all that, please enjoy and give feedback if you’d like!!

Your morning has already been a whirlwind. You woke up late, barely had time to shower, and had to scramble to get Rya ready for the day. Rya, now two years old, is in a particularly fussy mood, refusing to eat breakfast and clinging to you as if sensing your stress. After finally managing to dress Rya and pack her diaper bag, you rush out the door, your heart pounding with anxiety.

You drive to your mother’s house, mentally rehearsing your schedule for the day. Your mom is always a reliable support, but you hate showing up so inconsistently. You park the car and hurry inside, your mom meeting you at the door.

“Morning, hun,” she greets, taking Rya from your arms. “You look like you’re in a rush.”

“Yeah, I’ve got class,” you reply, pressing a kiss to Rya’s forehead. “Thank you for watching her, Ma. I’ll be back as soon as I can. Promise”

“Don’t worry about us. Just focus on your classes,” she reassures you, giving you a warm smile.

You nod, feeling a bit more at ease. You hurry back to your car and drive to campus.

By the time you find a parking spot and make your way across the UConn college campus, you’re already a few minutes late for your first class. You slip into the lecture hall as quietly as possible, scanning the room for an empty seat. Your eyes land on a spot next to a girl with long, blonde hair and an athletic build. You slide into the seat, trying not to draw attention to yourself.

The professor is already deep into the introduction, outlining the course syllabus. You fumble for your notebook, feeling the eyes of the other students on you. You scribble down notes, trying to catch up.

“You good?” the girl next to you whispers, her voice light with amusement.

You glance over and reply awkwardly, meeting her curious gaze. “Yeah—was just in a rush.”

She nods understandingly. “Ohh I feel you, I feel you. I’m Paige— by the way”

“Alara,” you respond, trying to focus on the lecture. “Nice to meet you.”

The professor drones on about course expectations and major assignments. You try to take notes, but your mind keeps drifting back to Rya. When the professor announces a group project, your stomach sinks. You had hoped to get through the day quietly, not needing to interact much.

“Alright, everyone, pair up,” the professor instructs. “This project will require collaboration, so choose your partners wisely.”

You look around, feeling lost and anxious. Before you can worry too much, Paige nudges you lightly. “Wanna be my partner?”

“Sure,” you agree, relieved to have an easy solution.

The rest of the class is spent discussing the project, a report on contemporary social issues. Paige is nice, you think to yourself. She’s funny and easy to talk to, by the end of class you find yourself relaxing and actually enjoying the conversation.

“So… uh what made you decide to take this class?” Paige asks as you walk out of the lecture hall together.

“I’m majoring in social work,” you explain. “As corny as it sounds, I actually like helping people and wanna make a difference”

Paige nods. “Type shit, type shit. I’m here on a basketball scholarship, but I’m really interested in sociology and—“

You don’t mean to but end up cutting her off with a laugh and she gives you a confused smile.

“What?” She chuckles out.

“Oh- no, no, I’m sorry. I just- did you just say type shit?”

“Yeah? What’s wrong with that?” she teases back.

You smile at the match of energy “Nothing, nothing, just very on brand for your whole… jock, basketball player thing you’ve got going on.”

Paige laughs, a warm and genuine sound. "I guess I can't escape the stereotype, huh? But for real, sociology; shits pretty interesting"

You nod, feeling more comfortable with each passing moment and continue to banter back and forth as you walk.

You reach a crossroads on campus where you'll have to part ways. Paige turns to you, her expression shifting to something more earnest. "Hey uh.. can I get your number? You know, for the project and stuff”

You feel a flutter of excitement in your chest. "Yeah, um- for sure." You exchange numbers, and she sends you a quick text to confirm.

"Sick, I'll text you later about our project," Paige says, her smile widening. "And maybe we can grab coffee or something?"

"Sounds good," you agree, feeling a warmth spread through you.

"Cool, see you then," she says, giving you a small wave before heading off in the opposite direction.

After your last class, you head back to your car, the events of the day replaying in your mind. The conversation with Paige was a bright spot, and you find yourself looking forward to working on the project with her. You drive back to your mom's house, eager to see Rya and tell your mom about your day.

When you arrive, your mom is in the living room, playing with Rya. The sight of your daughter’s bright smile as she toddles around the room makes your heart swell.

"Hey, Ma," you greet, dropping your bag by the door and walking over to scoop Rya into your arms.

"How was your day, hun?" your mom asks, looking up from her book.

"Pretty good, actually," you say, smiling at Rya who is now babbling happily. "I met someone in class today. Her name's Paige. She's... really nice."

"That's good to hear, baby" your mom replies, giving you a knowing smile. "It's always good to make new friends."

You nod, feeling a sense of relief wash over you. "Yeah, we got paired up for a project. I'm looking forward to it."

After chatting with your mom for a bit, you gather Rya's things and head home. The evening passes in a blur of dinner, bath time, and bedtime stories. As you lay Rya in her crib, you feel a wave of exhaustion, but also a sense of accomplishment. 

You finally settle into your own bed, ready to call it a night. Just as you’re about to drift off, your phone buzzes with a new message. You reach over to check it, finding a text from 

Paige.

Totally see Danny having fun being the big brother to both fairy Timmy and toddler Poof/peri

He could totally help Wanda & Cosmo help teaching Timmy to learn to fly (( also I see that being as Danny’s sister and friends were great at keeping his ghost powers a secret during his teenage years he can trust them not to tell about Fairies or that missing Timmy is now a fairy; also if I recall Jazz Danny’s sister was studying to be a therapist so she could help Timmy with any trama his birth parents caused and being as she’s so good at that I could see other fairies going to her for that kinda help or advice on helping their god children probably my fairy oc felicity would end up talking to her about her past childhood trauma of before she became a fairy and was taken in by Jorgen’s nana boom boom ( probably really helps Jazz out with her studies)

Also see felicity wanting to visit Jazz a lot to try to find ways to make sure Timmy will hopefully be last of human children being turned into a fairy because it’s extremely dangerous because not all humans make it through the change (and it mostly only works when they’re young) (Jimmy overheard this while Danny was too busy flying with Timmy & poof/peri at the time; Timmy already knows the dangers they did let him know before the change so he’s very understanding of why fairies don’t change humans into fairies too often and only in extreme cases) (Jazz will talk to Danny about it later once they’re back in their universe so they talk to Sam and trucker about it to get ideas on helping fairy world set better rules on the subject) totally seeing Jimmy having a few nightmares of losing Timmy forever over news of how things could’ve gone wrong with change from human to fairy

Now as much as they’d like to share information with Carl and Sheen they haven’t yet proven that they can keep secrets yet (some events will happen 1st but then once they prove themselves to fairy council they get approved and after that I’ll bet the girls Cindy and Libby want to ask questions like was half fairytales about fairies true or was some things misunderstood;; Jimmy getting a little overprotective of Timmy/ and in some cases poof/peri being as he’s like Timmy’s little brother and will go anyway Timmy does of when Cindy / Libby is around trying to get them land on their hands in fairy form because most fairies are tiny and cute aannnd Timmy & peri/poof are fairy children witch makes them super tiny compared to adult fairy’s; can totally see the girls wanting to watch them fly around in tiny fairy forms much to Jimmy’s annoy

Also totally see Danny/ Jazz and fairy felicity being the first one to pick up on Jimmy developing stronger feelings for Timmy witch felicity lets slip to them just don’t let Cupid hear about that and them shocked Cupid exists in their universe and same thing about the tooth fairy or that tooth fairy engaged / married to Jorgen then because they asking so much has to let on about the other holiday spirits in fairy universe as well as about anti fairies and pixies
