Want to know about Arjun's biggest fear? Failure.

A kind of failure, that is connected to his own past. The past which caused him to be more harsh on himself. More vigilant. More calculating. More stricter.

That if he didn't devote his duty well, it will not just going to be the loss of everyone, but the loss of himself.

He always tries to find a way to redeem himself, after losing Lieutenant Lakshya. To be the main sacrifice for others. When he sees others in pain, it unsettles him. It gives him the urge to protect them. Like how he did for Lakshya.

If you ever act as bait to save the Captain, he'd push you away, and go first. Because Arjun would never want someone to deserve death this plainly in the first place. He felt Lakshya never deserved death, as well. Sure, before dying his friend said that he gave his "soul" to him, but at the same time he feels incomplete like he didn't do his duty well.

If he were to be more careful and wiser, Lakshya would have lived. Even now.

So he'll come forward first, and be the bait instead. And let you escape.

And if he dies too, he'll have no regrets. As a son. As a soldier. He would feel successful. He finally got to know how it feels to sacrifice for the good. For you. For the country. For the millions of families who rely on him.

And for Lakshya, who had utmost faith that he'll make him proud. And he did.

He didn't call himself a failure, anymore. He felt redeemed.

so what really got me thinking about them is a project I'm doing in my animation class

(ignore how ugly it looks lol) I made Cyye's crown/head (whatever) so wide or big?? that you don't really see Cyye's hair. Which continuing with the crown, it's meant to be squishy?? or bendable if that makes sense. That's how it can fit in that glass ball lol

I wanted Cyye to also be albino, which I know it's weird they have dark spots and colored eyes. which is lore related really, but I plan on changes

Cyye's blood is a red-ish pink, hence the eye color. They have gold teeth (I tried to make it look like that at least q-q)

I think people really underestimate the depth in which I'm involved with my own OCs. I haven't followed any kind of media in years now because I can never develop interest in the stories and characters to the same level that I do with my own. It makes finding friends extremely difficult because I either have to hide such a large part of myself and just pretend I'm so boring that I live under a rock with no entertainment, or try to share and be dumped because no one gives a fuck about another person's OC. It's easier to bond over a character that is commonly known from a TV show or something, but getting (or hoping) someone will love this part of me and not just abandon me for it seems impossible. Just because there's no/less benefit for them to be around someone who is "in their own head all the time."

Emerson Corley : MHA/BNHA

An american student who has a legacy of family exchange students to U.A. They were the catalyst of a project called H.E.R.O. aka Hero Elimination and Restoration Objective. Because their quirk ‘Tarot Matter’ is—in short—a quirk that acts as multiple. And the Phantom Order wanted to try to create artificial quirks and possibly the ability for someone to have multiple quirks. Deku for example, he has multiple quirks even with a quirk being the cause of it. Back to H.E.R.O. they’d lose Em as a subject but not without a bit of their blood. Their dad died during their rescue and their mom decided it be best to start them and their sisters training immediately. And once each was old enough sending them to Ravenwood (a made up american hero school) or eventually to U.A. Emerson would get into the hero course (having an option to get into the support course due to their mothers status in the industry.) (They’re kinda a nepo baby-) Em ends up dating Shoji later on :>

Aceline is the only demi-god child of Nyx known to exist. And was born through pathogenic means with a bit of her fathers DNA. Grew up traveling between the northern and southern east coast. Before her satyr protector Auden inevitable brought them to Camp Half-Blood. They’re the second longest camper just a few months after Annabeth. Nyx visits sometimes and only at night it in dreams but has not claimed Aceline due to well the gods (even though Zeus fears Nyx, a mothers gonna worry.) They get claimed post-book 5 of pjo and had been inserted into the prophecy of seven (now eight) because why not <3. Also now Leos not a seventh wheel anymore :D. I’m not a hugeeeee caleo shipper so- Leo and Aceline 💪. Aceline and Gaea do NOT get along, mainly because of Aceline being in the prophecy that will stop her from changing the world. Ummm, oh! Aceline has some super cool powers :> Oh and they’re a legacy of apollo- um yeah don’t mind that they’re kinda crazy with all this stuff- most of my ocs are normal I promise- but uh Aceline can make little stars that can EXPLODE! There’s a couple other characters I made to go along with Aceline like Auden and another Demi-god who’s their best friend Delphina! And the hellhounds who are canonically they’re siblings- I still can’t wrap my head around that but 🤷. (They also have a pegasus called equinox and a hellhound who i’ve based off my own irl dog-)

Armani Monroe : Ninjago

Ok! Armani is the grand child of Mystake, an Oni (Warlord) and long time friend of Master Wu and Lord Garmadon(?) Was unaware of her heritage for most of her childhood before her mom and grandmother had a big fight. Where she and her brother learned of their heritage they splint, Armani wanting to learn and invest in that part while her brother chose to be with their human heritage. So she’d begin to learn and train under Sensei Garmadon as he has the she essence as her. The Oni’s Distruction. Then she lost her mentor and left to train on her own and focus almost everything into the study of Oni. Misako kept in contact atleast. But she sorta resented the Ninja so when she was called in during SoN she wasn’t the friendliest but would help the best she could. Joined them on all their adventures during SoN to MotO, being with all the ninja in SoN, being in the first realm during hunter and helping the ninja during MotO. End us joining the ninja permanently S11 onward. Ends up dating Lloyd because Llorumi 👎.

I’ll talk about her MM iteration here! Was previously a bat before being mutated by Baxter Stockman, being the last to be mutated. And was only a tube baby during Utrom’s raid. She got lost a bit after the escape and was later presumed dead by Superfly, only to be found by a couple who thankfully did not freak out about some chubby human like baby bat crawling around an alleyway. She really doesn’t know how they didn’t buttt she’s been living with them in secret ever since, being home schooled and is only let out at night. She has a few internet friends from around New York. She first saw the mm!turtles when the news was covering their fight with Superfly. She was both in awe and in shock because more mutants like her. Freaking out, fangirl-ish type reaction. After the fight she spent the rest of the day convincing her parents to let her enroll in school, they said yes since people weren't gonna freak out (they made her go out a few times first to gauge reactions, she also got to meet her friends for the first time in person.) The first day of school she almost got lost, and got mistaken as wingnut twice before finding the turtles and having a whole spider-man pointing meme reaction. I imagine them being all excited about meeting another mutant who's a student. X)

i'm writing a villain mc and i hate his fucking guts tbh but i've written him genuinely as a person who does bad things thinking he's doing the right thing, and i find that sometimes i want the best for him. but i hate him at the same time, so when i find myself thinking sympathetically, i make him suffer more lol bc he's a piece of absolute shit and deserves to burn

So the main OC on my mind lately has been Pinwheel from 'The Smile Hotel' an original storey of mine (rest in peace old smile hotel blog I will miss you)

He's a silly goober for sure.

Some notes on his design and overall character because thats whats been in my head lately :333

he is an ASSHOLE!! AN ASSHOLE!!! But I love using deceiving shape language in designs, circle characters are generally warm and genuine, while pinwheel is quite the oppisite

He's gone through a couple of retcons, but this design is the one I'm most happy with at the moment, the full length cloak is too hard to work around

His eyes can emote like- a cartoonish amount, like being shapes such as starts or $'s when the situation calls for it

Removing the mouth from this design as it adds too much conflict for the vibe i'm going for with them

He's a ginger cat with some darker spots

Need to mess around with colours a bit to get the finished design

the poncho he is wearing does cover his head, and it is definitely not pretty underneath

He is the same species of creature as one of my other oc's 'bingle' who I made the below GIF of

Bingle is the species form in like, the 'baby' form which looks like a regular cat until it doesn't,

He has the garfeild thing where you never know if he's talking or thinking but you can hear him and you can't make him go away

Got the liqiud cat biology and can squeeze and fit into impossible spaces, as long as he wants to

JUST REMEMBERED I MADE THIS COMIC ALSO BACK IN FEBRUARY AND BOY OH BOY DO I HAVE A LOT TO INFODUMP ABOUT THIS

so the other characters are two of his brothers that i came up with, cause i read a collection of duncan hcs and one of them was that he has 7 brothers and i said "THAT'S THE BEST THING EVER" and created 7 brothers for him. none of the other ones have been drawn besides these two yet but they do exist. the ones pictured are Eddie (21) and Crash (22) (real name is Carson but he likes the nickname) and they're duncan's favorite brothers and they get into a lot of shenanigans together. they're also prob the ones that went with him to break those bikes cause it just makes sense (they're also my favorite brothers out of them). they were SO bored and sad every time duncan left for a new season which meant they got into even crazier shit every time he came back. it's gotten so bad now that their mom doesn't let either of the brothers be the ones to pick him up from juvie cause they always do something afterwards that lands him right back in. crash is also the one that dyes duncan's hair cause if there's anyone i trust with dying hair it's those of the scene variety. i love referring to them like a different species /j /lh

i also based his brothers off of different alternative styles cause i said "WOULDN'T THAT BE COOL" so crash is supposed to be scene and eddie is supposed to be a raver

Soooo, MIMES FIRST >:3

Straw, the embodiment of Cadimum Orange, she's (so far) the tallest mime (8'0) and is, of course, ageless. She keeps a positive attitude about most things, even when fighting (physically and arguments) they use they/them/She. Their main weapons when in physical fights is her fangs and a classic butterfly knife. They enjoy biting anything that can be bit, except for animals, (her favorite being Alligators and Cats)

Their host (Jacky) is human, and stands at about 6'1, she was 25 before her death, Straw is unknown of their hosts death, but doesn't really care either way. Straws alibis/closest friends are; Peah, and Auto. They enjoys anything sweet and often gets a bit too excited when offered candy or pastries (her voice can and often does, project as if they were in a theater)

Next is Auto, the embodiment of True Rouge. He stands at 7'11 and is a generally traditional Vampire. They are of course, ageless. They go by He/They, but also don't give a shit being called anything different. Often layed back, it takes a shit tone to get them to care about most things. He's not one to fight, but if they need too, his go-to weapons are his fangs, or his inevitable charm.

Although not one for fights or any sort of physical interaction, he finds his bloodlust to be high at times, he doesn't usually prefer a source of blood, (Straw usually tries to stop him from drinking from animals) but other than that, he takes any blood he can get. They're the flirty type, especially in host, and often flirts to get something he wants, or to fuck with someone.

His host (Alejandro) is naturally 5'7, but often wears platforms to make him taller. His death is known to Auto, due to the fact he killed him themself. Originally it was only for blood, but they then realized they liked the attractive look of this host. He spends more time in host then in mime or puppet form, he enjoys acting like a spoiled rich person eating cheese and wine. His closest friends are Ajax and Straw.

Next, is Peah!! The embodiment of Canary Yellow. She's one of the shortest mimes (so far) at about 6'11. And again, Ageless. She's uses She/Her, but isn't too worried about lables like that. She's a very emotional poet, her writing ability striking even the least emotional (such as Auto) she doesn't have much power or fighting ability, and often tries to sit out physical (and emotional) fights as much as possible, but when needed, she uses birds (it sounds dumb, and even I don't know why that is, I don't even remember writing it down.)

She doesn't have a host, and doesn't plan on finding one anytime soon, she enjoys her mime form. Her puppet form seems to stress her out most times, (her puppet being based on a swan, she can't write with wings or her claws.) Her closest friends are Marina and Straw (although Straws loud demeanor seems to be overwhelming, she enjoys her company.)

And then (drum roll) Marina!! The embodiment of Aquamarine! She stands at about 7'9, ageless of course, and uses He/She/They. They're definitely a fighter, taking opportunities to rile anyone up when he can, she uses her fists mostly, or a regular pocket knife (gifted to her by Ajax) she stands strong and confident, but doesn't struggle showing her emotions. They can be obnoxious at times, but can keep themselves content when needed. (Often around Peah, not liking to stress her out or make her cry.)

He has no host currently, and is very picky about what body he takes over. Their puppet form (not fully designed yet...) seems to resemble a fish like creature such as a mermaid. His closets friends are Ajax, Straw, and Peah.

And now, Thwack!! The embodiment of Coral! Ageless, uses She/Her, stands at 7'5, and is a very proud clown! She enjoys making others laugh and have a silly time. She's pretty emotional, but when she's feeling anything like sad or mad, she makes jokes out of it and does everything she can to make herself feel better! She fights when needed, and always makes it fun, using a comically large hammer with her name on it to smash down anyone she needs!

She currently doesn't have a host, but is looking for a perfect clown to represent her mime form. Her puppet form resembles a giant jester, which is absolutely terrifying to see up close. Her closest friends are Straw and Marina!

(There are about 2 more mimes, but they aren't designed or thought about enough to be in here unfortunately :3)

Next, is the Living!! Although very few right now, they're still here!!

Ajax, a simple man living his life to the fullest as a southern (cowboy dressin) kinda boy, he goes by He/Him/They, but usually doesn't care if anyone gets anything wrong. He's about 23, finding himself attracted to both Women and Men, but with a heavy Male preference. He enjoys gardening a lot, and finds growing his own food helpful (more than driving all the way to town to buy some simple groceries, when they can just grow them himself!) He doesn't enjoy fighting, and usually makes his life partner (Mav) fight for him, but when they need to fight, he usually just uses his fists and a bat.

He's a pretty expressive person, but doesn't like letting their more serious emotions show unless alone or with Mav. He makes friends very easy, and doesn't have issues with peoples more obvious flaws, his rose colored glasses only coming off when forced off. They live out on a small farm with Mav, he ran away from home at about 19 and told Mav, although at the time they didn't know eachother very well, simply school friends, Mav felt the need to help and tag along with Ajax. During the years living together, they both developed some romantic feelings, Ajax being the first to say something (not good at hiding crushes whatsoever.)

Following his boyfriend, is Mav, a 21 year old human, using He/Him but often enjoying more feminine things. He's openly pansexual, not minding labels or gender, but cuteness and personality, which he found in Ajax. Mav is more calm and quiet, but cocky at times. He doesn't let his emotions show when he has them, but always tries to support the people around him. He enjoys relaxing and sometimes baking, and tends to keep things clean and tidy. He spends time with his life partner and dog (which he of course, named Princess..) he likes the simple life he chose, finding himself sitting on the front porch in the morning looking at the sunrise, admiring how beautiful life can be.

Last, and unfortunately the one least developed, is Rosemarie (or Rosie for short), a 115 year old vampire girl, using She/Her mostly, but she also likes any pronouns you choose to call her. She keeps a soft vampire Gothic style, red and black clothing consuming her wardrobe, she usually uses very little makeup though. She's a very young vampire, but has experienced much life. She keeps quiet mostly but is a very happy person in general. She's scared to trust, due to all the people she's loved that have unfortunately died and left her alone.

What if the 141 never knew about Arjun's birth date because the Captain never told anybody about it, and kept it a secret among others, making his age a mystery as well.

The team often makes assumptions about what could be his exact age according to his appearance.. like Gaz — whose current and ABSOLUTE assumption is he's around the age of 40. Price and Ghost think Arjun is slightly younger, around 34. Soap just guessed the age and kept it a secret.

Arjun on the other hand, just hearing them guess his age, while he isn't ready for that day when they'll get to know how old he is..

EHEHAHSHEHEHRHEHAHRGWKRHWKEH THAMK YOU. THAMK YOU SO MUCH I AM ABOUT TO EXPLAIN MOST OF THE SETTING AND THE MECHANICS BEFORE I EXPLAIN ABOUT THE LITTLE GUYS AS BRIEFLY AS POSSIBLE AND IF YOU HAVE ANY FURTHER QUESTIONS, LET ME KNOW AND I WILL. GLADLY ELABORATE ON THEM MORE :33 (big rant below the cut) (ALSO WARNING THERE ARE LIKE. MENTIONS OF BLOOD AND STUFF. IF YOU ARE UNCOMFORTABLE BY THAT I AM SORRY)

So if we are are talking about the setting- It is more a fantasy world set back in 800s to further into the 2000s (not like our world 's history but i can't name any of the fantasy locations on Earth itself as i am not focusing on that so expect pretty much the exact same country names). And the focus is actually on the Afterlife itself, and how it works, what worlds exist out there and etc etc. The original timeline crew (Yaku, Amor, Apollo and others) are all from the world of "Ortu Lunae" (Translator's note: It is Latin for "Rising moon"), the world that is supposed to be what mortal people would perceive as Hell. Aside from Ortu Lunae, an another world exists that is supposed to represent Heaven, called "Descensu Solis" (Translator's note: It is Latin for "The Descent of the Sun"), and the other third world being "Cruix", a forgotten third thing. Both Ortu Lunae and Descensu Solis have their own perspective god - Ortu Lunae having Achlys, the Moon God and Descensu Solis having Nahara, the Sun Goddess (Which is why the worlds are named after the sun and the moon). There is something else that is not a world, which is the Outskirts. Outskirts are unclaimed, unexplored and unstable lands, that are able to heavily affect the mental state and sanity on everyone who steps into them unprepared.

The worlds exist because the humanity still believes in their existence, and the people still keep the concept of their worlds "alive", but unfortunately Cruix was more of humanity's first "prototype" for what lies beyond death and with the existence of the two other worlds representing Heaven and Hell, Cruix had no more believers. Therefore Cruix had no reason nor right to keep on living, so it is only a forgotten land below everyone else (with none of its residents making it out of its borders)

To be quick, the company the crew work at is responsible for most safety of the entirety of Ortu Lunae, hence why they are "Warriors" and are "Company's most valuable employees". They are fighting and working for their own existence, for the existence of everyone in the Afterlife and their right to keep on walking on the ground, despite never being let outside back on Earth by will, even with their new physical bodies. Amor and Apollo even became the creators and the founders of the laboratory branch of the company to utilize science to create technology and innovations for the company, creating bionic gear and etc, being originally mostly the lead scientists and not all that much of fighters. All of this work the warriors do is why the company itself worked on how to make them "immortal" as to keep their employees to keep protecting the world. And that is where God's Blessings and "Sanguis Vitae" come in

Quick explanation of the two: God's Blessings are specialized powers, usually having origins from an element or something specific (Example: Thunder and Lighting for Yaku, Void for Amor, Time for Yi Dal/Ken and Kenix and etc) that are granted to the warriors by Achlys himself. There is an equivalent of that made by Nahara, where she lends her powers of the Sun and the Light to her soldiers, but the main difference is that it is but fraction of her powers and therefore her element, so every of her soldiers is pretty much set with the same skills, only differences being how they utilize the powers with their own weapons.

While "Sanguis Vitae" is an unknown liquid that is a back-up for God's Blessings, as it is the most essential part for preparing the warriors. It is an incredibly toxic and acidic magical replacement for the insides of the warriors. It is everything - for blood and organs that make the human bodies a functional thing, the skeleton and pretty much everything on the inside. It is also a massive to the warriors' starter strength as to help them get on the level of their comrades faster, and it also eliminates the basic human requirements for living. Which is eating, drinking, the hygiene needs, breathing and ,,,, only technically sleep but they still pretty much sleeping from time to time (Not Apollo anymore though, but that's for when i get to his character). As Sanguis Vitae replaces everything in their bodies, it also replicates some of the functions and fluids our bodies make (and by that i mean saliva for example, because i cannot imagine living with a dry mouth for all eternity, i am not that cruel to them)

Last thing would the Curses that i have mentioned when last talking about Kenix! Curses come from Cursed relics, that have originated from the Alternate timeline, and they oppose God's Blessings. Cursed relics and curses have originated exactly from AT (abbreviation for Alternate timeline, as to make it easier for me to write all of this) and they don't have an exact origin, all that is known is that the Cursed Relics are either manifested into being by twisting one's wish into something more of "an unachievable desire" that exactly requires the help from the above to get while tricking them into committing sins, or they are manifested into being after the death of one who has been cursed - someone's history of despair and sorrow being shaped into a physical object as their "legacy", that could resonate with someone once they are physically weak enough to have their own wish be twisted into something more disturbing and force them to turn into something strange and horrific while scarring their mind if they do break free. Originally the curses were opposing to the blessings because they had the same concept in theory, but the main difference is tha the curses not only grant the powers to the user, they exactly twist the user as a person, they are denied remorse for their actions and are constantly forced to look out for more violent and cruel ways to achieve what they wanted originally, while also depleting their sanity to the point of no longer having any control over their actions, turning into all sorts of monsters. There are 7 (known for now) cursed relics based on the Seven Deadly Sins and they all belong to the AT crew that consists of Kenix (Lust, but not THAT kind of lust because there are specific interpretations for each of the character), Azrael (Envy), Maude (Wrath), Aridam (Pride), Liliosa (Gluttony), Artemis (Sloth) and Agatha (Greed). Since all the timelines exist within this one universe, the curses and the cursed relics seep into the OG timeline right into the Outskirts where new relics are created into being with the the lost people who have lost their sanity and dying, leaving behind cursed relics made out of their desperation and madness.

Holyshit how did i write the concept of the Curses and the Cursed Relics before knowing about the Abnormalities, E.G.Os and Distortions from the projmoon universe HELPP. Also quick note that the cursed relics and the curses play a big part in the story as they are. a huge part of each of the character's Peak Insanity chapter, which a story chapter focused on them where they resonate with an existing relic that basically fucks them over for the rest of the narrative and they learn how to deal with it and how to heal from their trauma (ALTHOUGH INSPIRATION'S AND ARAI'S PEAK INSANITY CHAPTERS REALLY FUCK BOTH AMOR AND APOLLO UP FOR LIKE. A LONG ASS TIME BEFORE THEY REACH THEIR PI CHAPTERS TO FINALLY HAVE A RESOLVE TO THEIR PROBLEMS)

And about Adler, I will give a brief introduction about him since he's also one of the main character in my oc's lore : Adler Thomas, sometimes called Adly, is the drummer and percussionist of The Marigold (my oc band, which I will make an introduction post about them sometimes). He's a shy, reserved drummer but also very chaotic as he got a very energetic stage presence. But for most of the time around his bands and friends, Adler appeared to be whimsy. He is always in his own magical world, stems from his profound admiration for fairytales and folktales originating from diverse nations. He finds peace and comfort when delving into the enchanting realm of fairy tales. That's why Adler loved to spend most of his freetime reading oscured folktales or doing researches and journaling about fairytales he has read through the years. Part of that is why his admiration toward fairytale has given him a really creative and eccentric mindset, it reflected in his lyrics, style (notably peacock, folk, baroque-ish style) and even aesthetic. Unfortunately, his fairytale mindset sometimes made him detached himself from reality and even out of this world.
