“i figured it would be starting soon, you seemed more drowsy than normal. that’s ok though, lets just lay down then,” he presses a soft kiss to your forehead before spinning around so both of your heads are resting on the stark white pillow at the top of the bed. he sheds himself of his thick jacket before yanking the blanket over the two of you and pulling your body into his so that your back is against his chest. one of his arms extends beneath your neck as support, while the other slides underneath your waist. his hand comes to rest on your lower abdomen, the firm hold bringing relief to the cramps that were creeping up on you. he tangles his legs in yours before kissing your shoulder where your shirt had slipped down.

“i love you,” it’s a soft murmur falling from your lips, but he hears you all the same. your eyes fall shut at the overwhelming warmth and affection radiating off of the man behind you. you feel his lips on your neck one last time before whispering in your ear before you drift off into a peaceful nap.

I think I mostly love the fact that he might seem flawlessly evil at first but there are these little moments where you get confused without knowing why, and when you look at it a second time you realize he does have some quirks that makes him even more intriguing.

Ugh ugh ugh ugh so. I have another car now. Or I will. Next week, when it’s ready.

I love it even though it was a bit grody inside when I looked. (The dealer knew I was looking for that exact type of car and called me as soon as it came in, so it hadn’t even been cleaned/detailed yet.) Low miles for a 13 year old car, though! I’ll be mobile again, anyway. 

Ugh what is money? I don’t know her. *sobbing* I managed to talk about $1k off the price they were asking, which honestly just means that they were probably quite willing to go lower and I could have pushed? Maybe the price they quoted was just to feel me out. It probably was. It seemed too easy. I dunno. My last car had 160k miles when I got it, and that one has around 130k. An improvement! Hopefully...

I had pretty firmly refused the $111 6-month warranty (even though I dawdled enough about the price that he literally took it down to that from $500) because urgh, who wants to spend extra money when they’re already crying about spending money? But then I got talked back into it by family. I am weeeeak. If anything happens, it’ll probably happen in the 3-month, 3,000 mile warranty that comes with the car for free. Either that... or it will happen after a year—or two. Or three. That’s how these things work. But maybe I’m just jaded. Maybe it’ll come in handy if the things the warranty covers magically happen to go wrong.

Anyway, the salesperson is super super nice and was the one who worked with me to get me my first car, and gave me a year of free maintenance, so... honestly, I’m happy. Then again, I don’t put many miles on a car in a year, so that’s maybe one oil change. Still! Really nice.

Also when I got my first car, he filled the gas tank for free for me a couple times. What a nice fella?? He must know I’m cheap. Fill up my gas tank for me and you’ve got lifelong loyalty.

I just wish my wallet wasn’t all sad and naked.

I’m so bad about spending money. Instant guilt and terror.
