I got this neato freestanding tension rod (that I wish I had known was a thing like 5 months ago) to separate my kitchen from my living area (because staring at my microwave in bed creeps me out) and also to dampen the sound from Mr. Oliver Screamypants, and I'm really happy with it! Except I positioned it a little poorly and

There's a creepy little sliver on the side that I can't cover. It's adjustable so I could scootch it out and over but... just getting it up there was enough of a struggle. Maybe later.
Anyway if you need any kind of room divider highly recommend this thing.

Kissing, lighting and sleepy sex for Hideout Steve and Reader?
I am not prepared. My feels...they shall be too deep and endless. I shall try anyway.
From this dirty ask game for this AU series where Nomad Steve lets motel-employee!Reader soothe his touch-starved body. Lawd, halp me, this is about to get crunk in a tooth-rotting, put-some-pillows-beneath-you you're-gonna-faint type o' way. [y'all can't tell I drank during the eclipse today, right? I'm subtle? Cool.] MINORS DNI.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
K - Kissing
ACK My heart! Or rather, there is something deeply adoring for Steve when you kiss his chest, over his heart. It makes him feel just that much more like a person who lives in this world, who belongs in this world, who will return one day to this world...
His hands are also a big one--no, not just actually big hands, but important to show love to because he uses them for such violence. Each kiss is like a little touch of forgiveness for what he's done or had to do with those hands. He appreciates the trust it takes, too, to kiss his palms, when he could easily stop you breathing (sorry, that sounds dark, but Nomad was in a dark place, okay, bad things occur to him now).
Steve loves to kiss your stomach, and it might be somewhat taboo to say, but he has a touch of that crawl-back-home-for-safety comfort thing going on when he presses close and holds your center to him. It's not a mommy kink or roleplay, per se; he relishes the connectedness of being one and curling up against you is the only non-sexual way he knows how to achieve that--like in Chapter 3 when he falls asleep in that position.
As far as leaving marks though? Steve can emphatically say 'hell no,' not on purpose. Pain is a bit, meh, weird for him because he heals so quickly. He might not even notice if you did bite or bruise him. He certainly wouldn't see it in the morning. He does not in any way associate marks with love or affection since he only ever saw them on himself after fights or on women (including his Ma) after being abused.
That is not love to Steve.
It's control, it's dominance, it's inequality, and he fucking hates it.
L - Lighting
Steve entirely defers to you on whether there are actual lights on or off. He likes to use his senses to explore and enjoy you, so without light is fine. He's just here for you.
Steve does, however,--no spoilers for Chapter 5--like ambiance such as candles or something dim and colorful. He thinks you'd look unbelievably perfect beside a sparkling Christmas Tree. He hopes to celebrate (all holidays and birthdays and everything) openly with you some day. The sooner the better.
(Except, no audience for him making love to you under those twinkling lights, please. He's staunchly opposed to that sort of thing.)
S - Sleepy Sex
So, again, no spoilers for Chapter 5, but once Steve gets comfortable with oral sex he is comfortable with oral sex, if you catch my drift.
If he wakes up first, he's on you in some way, arms and legs draped over you, kissing any place he can get to, man-handling you just enough to start something he 100% will finish. He's just...uh god, so attentive.
With the super senses and being a fugitive though, it's not often that you can wake up before him, truly, which limits or completely removes the ability to surprise him with a blowjob, but he will dreamily let you roam wherever your mouth and hands take you. As long as there's lots of contact. As much as possible really. Like lay your arms across his thighs and abs while playing with him. Maybe put your body over one of his legs and ride his foot if you need to. He must feel attached in some way. Cold, distant, or separated does not do it for him.
Here's my absolute, I-will-die, favorite thing about Hideout Steve though: when he's tired/fatigued/worn out/sleepy, he gets louder.
Much. Much. Louder, babes.
No cursing, mostly, but all the moans and groans and whining are totally dialed up. And I don't know about y'all, but I can't really think of anything fucking sexier than Nomad Steve screaming that he's gonna come.
🥵
Thank you for asking!

okey dokey! i just finished the fallout show! some Thoughts under the read more
tl:dr, the (bethesda) fallout vibes were definitely there. i liked it as a show on its own merits but as a part of the series canon... i'm mad, and that anger is kind of overriding the little i liked about it. overall maybe 2.5/5 stars and im being generous
things i liked:
visually, it's stunning - i could see scenes already being made into gifsets - the color grading is pretty good; even in dark scenes i could see and understand what was happening
the sets are soooo good!! costume design was alright too
title cards were fun and cute
they did some interesting stuff with the cultures of both vault 33 and the brotherhood of steel
they used the sound effects from the games :)
i liked the wastelanders!!! big npc and random encounter energy. i kind of want a whole show of just them. for example i love the marketplace and settlement in filly; it feels very lived in
the background characters weren't just young thin able-bodied conventionally attractive white people :) there's so many elders, which i loved!! ma june and barv were cool. i love gruff old lesbians
lucy!!! she was already kind of weird and a little off-putting even in vault 33 ("what's your sperm count" as an opener to the husband she was just arranged married to is WILD) and i like that. she's sweet and bullheaded and surprisingly competent :)
maximus is kind of an ass, but is also a pathetic nerd and brotherhood dickrider who actually doesn't really know anything. kind of a girlfailure
the ghoul was pretty cool too!! i liked him, though more for his prewar story than the one he has post-apocalypse
lucy's brother norman kinda grew on me. "i lack enthusiasm for every job that i do here" so relateable. also short king <3
THE DENTIST THAT BUYS TEETH. never thought that would be a Thing but now that i think about it, it makes sense
the monsters that we have were cool!! wish there had been more of them
MATT BERRY IS IN THIS!! i just really like him so i got excited :))
maximus and lucy's "wanna have sex?" talk LMAO
vault 4's various mutations!!
those giant unwieldy fuckass duffel bags that brotherhood squires lug around hahahhahahaaha
vault 4 and its genetic experiments because its main conceit is that it was ruled by scientists who hybridized humans. it's exactly the right amount of fucked up i want in a vault
i like that the protagonists regularly get captured and eat shit
FRED ARMISEN IS ALSO HERE
haha hacking minigame :) also chatting via terminals (and im assuming pipboys?) is canon now
they're growing crops in the wasteland + bustling trade + livestock + pets yay
robobrain was cute
things i was just ok with:
dane, the they/them brotherhood of steel aspirant who was fucked over so maximus can get their spot as a squire LMAO what a waste of a potentially cool character
IT'S SO FUNNY that there's yodelling whenever the ghoul comes into the scene ????? WHY
fight scenes.... pretty good but someone definitely had the bloody mess perk (i don't do well with gore so ew yucky). also lots of [VATS NOISE]
pipboy was not used as much as i thought it would be
cousin stuff... i get it, i guess in a vault you'd have a lot of cousins and not a lot of choice, so some incest would probably happen
the ghoul being vault boy's inspiration?? not sure what to feel about that tbh
the casual dismemberments... and equally casual attaching of limbs... not even prosthetic limbs.....
the vaulties eating good healthy well-balanced meals. giving out caviar in the welcome basket. kinda 50/50 on it
the vault 31 - 32 - 33 subplot couldve been more fucked up
have brotherhood knights always been celibate or did i miss the memo
there are regular chickens and... deer? for some reason?
the ghoul's design. it's fine in action but mostly it's meh
the vault 4 cult for moldaver
vault 4 as a refuge for shady sands survivors. im mad about it but like. i get it
that guys "elixir" (some altered jet??) fixing everything about thaddeus' foot instantenously AND GIVING HIM HEALING POWERS???
things i did not like:
lucy's plot premise is very much fallout 3 redux
lucy and maximus as a ship is very meh and kind of forced and not compelling. go give us nothing!!!
wilzig's head as a macguffin that everyone is after... ehh kind of just okay as a plot device
also the ghoul randomly eating that other ghoul???
the squire who bullied maximus calls himself fat but he isn't fat?? not even chubby??? hello????? just got a soft face
water chip being fucked feels very fallout 3 also but they kind of dropped it?
they definitely named cooper howard after todd. as tribute probably, which he doesn't deserve
fiend = cannibal now?????
maximus recognizing vault 4 as a cult but not recognizing the brotherhood as one lol
vault tec evil capitalism vs hollywood communists storyline was kind of basic. and bland. and weak
the enclave could've been established + explored better
no geckos or any other west coast-specific monsters
showing me ncr ranger armor when the ncr is gone
ghouls have healing powers?? WITHOUT RADIATION??
things i hated hated hated:
the ghoul needing drugs to combat the Disease That Turns Ghouls Feral
feral ghouls being basically zombies :/
IN EPISODE FIVE. THEY REVEAL. THAT SHADY SANDS. WAS BOMBED. THE ENTIRE NCR. WAS BOMBED. IN 2277. THE YEAR OF THE FIRST BATTLE OF HOOVER DAM
BASICALLY RETCONNED FNV?? IM PUTTING MY EARS IN MY FINGERS AND GOING LA LA LAAAAA
VAULT-TEC DROPPED THE BOMBS ???? BIG MT + MR HOUSE BEING IN ON IT????
THE BIG STUPID FUCKING REVEAL IN EPISODE EIGHT?? THAT THE OVERSEER BOMBED SHADY SANDS BECAUSE HIS WIFE DIDN'T WANT TO GO HOME WITH HIM??? FUCK THAT???
the brotherhood being the main faction of the west coast now. booo!! booo!!!!
the fucking last shot of new vegas being a burnt out husk. probably foreshadowing that hank is going to house's body but. UGH I HATE IT
to summarize: it came out strong! and stumbled hard falling face fucking first at the finish line. i would have liked it a lot more if it did not shit on the west coast as much as it did. because what the FUCK. if it was set literally anywhere else and left the ncr alone i would have liked it more, because on its own, as a self-contained story, divorced from the rest of the fallout series canon, it's not bad!!! it's fun, there's some good bits, it has the ~vibes~ but - and this is a big but - i don't know what it's trying to say. it's all very surface level and the very vague themes i picked up on are not really reiterated in the plot
it's like... the bits that make it fallout are there. vaults. the brotherhood. ghouls. a dog named dogmeat. but there's something lacking. it's like your usual sci-fi post-apocalypse show with a fallout veneer. idk. i like it for what it is but also i hate it for what it's emblematic of. that's all

My thoughts on the Wicked movie teaser trailer... so far.
Before you pop off in my replies and reblogs yes I know, this is just a teaser trailer and not the official tralier. Regardless that doesn't give this movie a magical critique pass. Most of my critques on this teaser come from my own thoughts and some of points raised in this post. This is also just me rambling into the void. Don't like don't read lmao.
If you've been following me for a while, then you already know my opinion on the Wicked movie and casting. Surprise surprise, you guessed it... I am extremely underwhelmed and disappointed. For so many reasons.
I'll start off with some things I like.
Johnathan Bailey is hot asf as Fiyero. (even if he looks way older than Fiyero is canonically meant to be)
The set and props. I think some of them actually look pretty neat. I'm glad they didn't use a green screen for Shiz and put in the effort to build a university campus. The train from Shiz to Oz looks kinda dope. I was always wondering what it would look like and I'll probably use that as inspiration for my fics and art comms.
Jeff Goldblum as The Wizard. I won't lie, I haven't seen a lot of movies with Jeff in them so I was cautious about his casting. However, I was pleasantly surprised to see how much his look and his performance so far actually fits Oscar. Time will tell if he can hold up to those standards.
I'm happy a WOC is playing Elphaba. Everyone complains about Fiyero not being racially book accurate but nobody talks enough about Elphaba being discriminated against as an amalgamation for rac!sm. More women of color should play her on stage.
THE NAILSSSS. Come on people this is the Wicked Witch of the West we're talking about she should be SERVING WITH THOSE CLAWS! Although personally I would've preferred them sharp but I'm over here with almond arylics what do I know lol.
I'm happy they casted a disabled actress to play Nessa. I always wondered why they never did that.
With that out of the way, let's get into a million reasons why I hated this trailer and why I'll most likely hate the movie anyways.
Arianna as Glinda. Look, I don't hate Ari. I like some of her songs and even bought some of her perfumes because I like smelling good. At worst I just don't care about her. However whenever I see Arianna as Glinda, I'm sorry I just don't see Glinda, I see ARIANNA GRANDE dressed in last minute cosplay for a Halloween party. I heard one line... ONE LINE from her and the delivery is NOTHING like Glinda's character or cadence, it's just Ari in drama class.
The wigs and costumes. What the hell was the makeup and hair crew thinking when they selected that wig for Arianna???? It's an ashy dull blonde that brings no color or life to the character. The #1 thing about Glinda is her vibrant blonde hair, it's even mentioned IN THE SONGS. MULTIPLE TIMES. This wig looks like a botched bleach job. Then, there's the costumes. Good lord what are those glasses on Elphaba's face??? I get they're trying to be all "whimsy" and "peculiar" in tone with WOZ, but they just look silly. Why not stick to the glasses in the musical? Why overdo it? I fear how the Emerald City sunglasses will look (if they even add those in) Also why are Glinda's clothes so dull? Where's the vibrance? Where's the pink frilly coquette contrast to Elphaba's dark coquette?
The camera work and Elphaba's entrance. This is Wicked the musical. I'm expecting a huge and grandiose presentation, especially when it comes to THE MAIN CHARACTER. Showing Elphaba from the back of her head in slow motion while she's walking to the entrance is just... boring and an overused cliche. Not to mention the underwhelming reactions from the extras. The cinematography is just meh. I'm expecting better for a fantasy film. It's been done before.
Cynthia as Elphaba. Listen, Cynthia is a great singer and talented actress. I have absolutely nothing against her. With that being said I'm going to be brutally honest: much like Arianna, she is not Elphaba... at least not entirely. Like Johnathan, Cynthia is way older than Elphaba is meant to be canonically and the editing team clearly used the de-aging filter on her to the point where it looks unnatural. If this movie had been made at least five years ago or earlier Cynthia would've fit perfectly.
Continuing my point with Cynthia: the singing. I'm sorry but what the hell was that riff with Defying Gravity??? I'm not entirely blaming Cynthia for this because this has become a massive problem with a lot of musical film adaptations which I like to call the popification of songs. It happens in nearly all the live-action Disney movies and I'm sick of it. What confuses me is STEPHEN FUCKING SCHWARTZ is involved in the musical production. He wrote the god damn songs, how the hell does he not direct Cynthia to sing the right note instead of letting her do whatever she wants??? I don't think he did that with Idina, which is why this riff is so iconic. Come on, if a tiktok meme trend can do that riff better and more accurately than an actual singer can, that's just embarrassing. I'm not good at explaining myself in terms of singing, so I'm hoping a youtuber I occassionally watch does a reaction video to the trailer and does a better job at explaining than I can.
The acting. Like I said with Arianna, the delivery is so bland and dry. I'm trying not to judge all of the acting on a teaser trailer but if this is how the leads are going to act throughout the whole movie then I'm disappointed.
Too much CGI in some parts. I get it. This is a fantasy movie there's bound to be certain effects you can't do practically. But that's no excuse when this is a $145 million dollar movie. The flying monkeys are so painfully obvious CGI. This was a wasted chance to get Doug Motherfucking Jones to play Chistery in prosthetics. So much of this movie ends up looking like those garbage Oz spinoffs. (If you know you know) The CGI is just bad. The bubble and Emerald City buildings look so cheap.
WHY IS THIS MOVIE SO DARK? This is suppossed to be OZ! Why do I have to turn up my brightness to look into the shadow realm???
Now onto some things I'm confused about.
Michelle Yeoh as Madame Morrible. I'm praying to god she'll blow us away because she's such a good actress and is serving c*nt in her costumes. I haven't heard her sing (I'm dumb but unless the opera song she sang in EEAAO was her then WOW!)
The silver slippers. I KNOW! I KNOW! The ruby slippers are copyrighted and can't be thrown in all nilly willy wherever you please. But keep in mind this is a 145 MILLION DOLLAR MOVIE ALL FOR PART ONE. Do not tell me they couldn't shill a few extra bucks on signing a few contracts. AND YES I KNOW. The musical uses the silver slippers in the first act in ode to the L. Frank Baum books which I love, but don't forget, they turn red when Elphaba enchants them to give Nessa the ability to walk. Dorothy shows up after Nessa is killed and has her shoes stolen. Why aren't they red now? Not to mention most of the audience might not know the original slippers in the books were silver. This would've been a great chance to combine two different canons.
WHO IS PLAYING DR. DILLAMOND???? ifitisjamescordenandyouusecrappycgiiwillgotoyourhousejohnchuand-
Finally, why did John Chu absolutely insist on this being a two parter movie with a year long intermission? Is this shit show really that fantastical that it can be akin to Kill Bill part 1 and 2?
That's pretty much it for now but expect an update to this post with a reblog with updated thoughts when an official trailer drops. My mind probably won't change though. I'm totalllllyyy not considering pulling an Eddy Burback sneaking into Morbius for a week when this movie comes out lol.
Universal Studios and AMC theaters that was a joke please for the love of god do not send Nicole Kidman after me.

How about some speculation on what powers waking up the Shard of Ka'Mort will grant Ashton.
This list is compiled based on the abilities of the Titanstone Knuckles, Earth Elementals, and just general earth/rock-themed spells pulled from the Druid spell list.
I, in no way, expect Ashton to pick up even half of these. It's just a fun exercise in possibilities. And a very long post.
From the Titanstone Knuckles:
I'm gonna use their Exalted state for the full ability list. And while I don't think Matt's going to go one-for-one with the Shard, I won't be surprised if there's a fair bit of overlap given the Knuckles were crafted from a fragment of an earth titan's heartstone.
Increase Strength Score to 26
Honestly, considering the Quintessence Array is supposed to boost Stat Scores from other items and such, I expect some Stat boost. And given that the basic earth genasi racial boost goes to Constitution and Strength, those are the ones I'd expect it for. And a big strength one like this given a) Belts of [Type] Giant Strength give similar boosts and a titan, who is essentially a walking mountain, should be stronger, and b) Evontra'vir literally said "the dormant strength of the empress."
I would personally like to see Ashton's Constitution restored to what it was, if not further boosted. But also understand that it's probably not gonna happen because that was their (further) punishment for trying something crazy and stupid.
Double Damage to objects and structures (siege damage)
Considering this is also in the Earth Elemental abilities, I think Ashton should get siege damage. It's very situational, but definitely could be useful down the road seeing as Destroy the Malleus Key is on the To Do List. And it's helpful for the bane of all adventuring parties: Doors!
Once a day Enlarge/Reduce, though they may only choose the enlarge effect. The spell lasts for 10 minutes rather than the usual 1 minute
Very much a take it or leave it ability. Titans are impossibly huge, being able to take on a very small fraction of that size makes sense. But the bonuses besides size/weight it offers are kind of meh for a barbarian when Rage already offers advantage on Strength roles, so only a d4 of extra damage is new.
Resistance to cold, fire, lightning, and thunder damage while enlarged
I honestly doubt Matt is going to give Ashton Resistances. Certainly not multiple ones like this unless it strictly follows the Knuckles' rules or some other similar restrictions on use.
From the Earth Elemental:
Guardian Pillars: The guardian creates pillars of stone. Allied creatures within 5 feet of the pillars are protected in some way.
So this was shown by the Earth Guardian Elemental that Abbadina summoned for the assault on the Dawnfather Temple. We don't know what protection the pillars offered, but this is an Earth Elemental ability and Ashton does want to protect Bells Hells, so I think this would be a fun one to pick up.
Darkvision 60 ft. Can see in the dark within a specific radius. Can see in dim light within the radius as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. Can't discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
More Darkvision for the party is always good. And, in the more recent release for genasi (Mordenkainen Presents: Monsters of the Multiverse vs Elemental Evil Player's Companion, which Ashton was built off of), they do just get Darkvision. So not a bad little upgrade to slip Ashton.
Tremorsense 60 ft. Can detect and pinpoint the origin of vibrations within a specific radius, provided that the monster and the source of the vibrations are in contact with the same ground or substance. Tremorsense can't be used to detect flying or incorporeal creatures.
Basically an earth-based Blindsight. Useful for keeping an eye out for invisible enemies following them and navigating and keeping an eye out when using Earth Glide. I would think Ashton would only get Tremorsense if they also got Earth Glide.
Earth Glide: The elemental can burrow at a speed of 30 ft through nonmagical, unworked earth and stone. While doing so, the elemental doesn't disturb the material it moves through.
This could be an interesting ability for Ashton to pick up too. It can open up some interesting mobility work, both in and out of battles. Definitely some potential for sneaking around some places if Ashton can semi-walk through walls at will.
Slam Attack: Melee Weapon Attack: +8 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. 2d8 + 5(STR bonus?) bludgeoning damage
I mostly put this in as a different/upgrade to an Unarmed Strike for Ashton's new arm. Very doubtful it will happen.
Siege Monster: double damage to objects and structures
As mentioned up in the Titanstone Knuckles, it's an easy gimme that has very situational good use.
Damage Immunities: Poison
Considering I think Ashton getting Damage Resistances is low, I also doubt he'll get Damage Immunities.
Condition Immunities: Exhaustion, Paralyzed, Petrified, Poisoned, Unconscious
I could see the Immunity to Petrified happening, since Ashton is, technically, already made of stone. I really doubt any of the other Condition Immunities would happen.
From general earth-themed spells pulled from the Druid spell list:
I don't expect many, if any, spells to be picked up. Ashton can't use them while Raging. And no spell above 6th level at the moment since that's as high as Imogen and FCG can go currently. But I also wanted a full list, so here we are.
Cantrips
Magic Stone:
You touch one to three pebbles and imbue them with magic. You or someone else can make a ranged spell attack with one of the pebbles by throwing it or hurling it with a sling. If thrown, it has a range of 60 feet. If someone else attacks with the pebble, that attacker adds your spellcasting ability modifier, not the attacker’s, to the attack roll. On a hit, the target takes bludgeoning damage equal to 1d6 + your spellcasting ability modifier. Hit or miss, the spell then ends on the stone. If you cast this spell again, the spell ends early on any pebbles still affected by it.
Use a bonus action to make magic rocks to throw at people. Semi-useful, and it provides a range option with a bit of prep time since Ashton can't cast while Raging.
Mold Earth:
You choose a portion of dirt or stone that you can see within range and that fits within a 5-foot cube. You manipulate it in one of the following ways: 1) If you target an area of loose earth, you can instantaneously excavate it, move it along the ground, and deposit it up to 5 feet away. This movement doesn’t have enough force to cause damage. 2)You cause shapes, colors, or both to appear on the dirt or stone, spelling out words, creating images, or shaping patterns. The changes last for 1 hour. 3)If the dirt or stone you target is on the ground, you cause it to become difficult terrain. Alternatively, you can cause the ground to become normal terrain if it is already difficult terrain. This change lasts for 1 hour. If you cast this spell multiple times, you can have no more than two of its non-instantaneous effects active at a time, and you can dismiss such an effect as an action.
Definitely strikes me as a powerful, primal entity of earth ability to do some shaping of earth to your will. Good for traps, brief navigational markers, and easing travel for the party or making it difficult for pursuers.
1st Level
Earth Tremor:
You cause a tremor in the ground in a 10-foot radius. Each creature other than you in that area must make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, a creature takes 1d6 bludgeoning damage and is knocked prone. If the ground in that area is loose earth or stone, it becomes difficult terrain until cleared.
Another one that definitely makes sense. A titan shakes the ground with its mere footsteps. This also has the potential for crowd control by making a decent sized circle of them all fall down.
2nd Level
Dust Devil:
Choose an unoccupied 5-foot cube of air that you can see within range. An elemental force that resembles a dust devil appears in the cube and lasts for the spell’s duration. Any creature that ends its turn within 5 feet of the dust devil must make a Strength saving throw. On a failed save, the creature takes 1d8 bludgeoning damage and is pushed 10 feet away. On a successful save, the creature takes half as much damage and isn’t pushed. As a bonus action, you can move the dust devil up to 30 feet in any direction. If the dust devil moves over sand, dust, loose dirt, or small gravel, it sucks up the material and forms a 10-foot-radius cloud of debris around itself that lasts until the start of your next turn. The cloud heavily obscures its area.
Useful for distractions and a bit of ranged coverage. Also calls back to Ashton being spat out in a desert when they were teleported upon receiving the Shard.
3rd Level
Erupting Earth:
Choose a point you can see on the ground within range. A fountain of churned earth and stone erupts in a 20-foot cube centered on that point. Each creature in that area must make a Dexterity saving throw. A creature takes 3d12 bludgeoning damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. Additionally, the ground in that area becomes difficult terrain until cleared away. Each 5-foot-square portion of the area requires at least 1 minute to clear by hand.
Heaving earth always makes sense to me as something a titan can do, and thus an ability one would grant.
Meld into Stone:
You step into a stone object or surface large enough to fully contain your body, melding yourself and all the equipment you carry with the stone for the duration. Using your movement, you step into the stone at a point you can touch. Nothing of your presence remains visible or otherwise detectable by nonmagical senses. While merged with the stone, you can’t see what occurs outside it, and any Wisdom (Perception) checks you make to hear sounds outside it are made with disadvantage. You remain aware of the passage of time and can cast spells on yourself while merged in the stone. You can use your movement to leave the stone where you entered it, which ends the spell. You otherwise can’t move.
If Ashton gets Earth Glide, this is useless. And honestly? Pretty low value for Ashton in general.
4th Level
Conjure Minor Elementals:
You summon elementals that appear in unoccupied spaces that you can see within 90 feet. You choose one the following options for what appears: One elemental of challenge rating 2 or lower Two elementals of challenge rating 1 or lower Four elementals of challenge rating 1/2 or lower Eight elementals of challenge rating 1/4 or lower An elemental summoned by this spell disappears when it drops to 0 hit points or when the spell ends. The summoned creatures are friendly to you and your companions. Roll initiative for the summoned creatures as a group, which has its own turns. They obey any verbal commands that you issue to them (no action required by you). If you don’t issue any commands to them, they defend themselves from hostile creatures, but otherwise take no actions. The DM has the creatures’ statistics.
Considering the Spark idly spat out the Doompa Loompas, which probably fit in this category of Elementals, I think it wouldn't be out of the question for Ashton to get their own minions once the Shard awakens. Number games are useful. So are scouts.
Stone Shape:
You touch a stone object of Medium size or smaller or a section of stone no more than 5 feet in any dimension and form it into any shape that suits your purpose. So, for example, you could shape a large rock into a weapon, idol, or coffer, or make a small passage through a wall, as long as the wall is less than 5 feet thick. You could also shape a stone door or its frame to seal the door shut. The object you create can have up to two hinges and a latch, but finer mechanical detail isn’t possible.
Shaping earth feels like a titan thing. And this can take some burden off of Fearne and FCG to have this spell prepared.
5th Level
Conjure Elemental:
You call forth an elemental servant. Choose an area of air, earth, fire, or water that fills a 10-foot cube within range. An elemental of challenge rating 5 or lower appropriate to the area you chose appears in an unoccupied space within 10 feet of it. For example, a fire elemental emerges from a bonfire, and an earth elemental rises up from the ground. The elemental disappears when it drops to 0 hit points or when the spell ends. The elemental is friendly to you and your companions for the duration. Roll initiative for the elemental, which has its own turns. It obeys any verbal commands that you issue to it (no action required by you). If you don’t issue any commands to the elemental, it defends itself from hostile creatures but otherwise takes no actions. If your concentration is broken, the elemental doesn’t disappear. Instead, you lose control of the elemental, it becomes hostile toward you and your companions, and it might attack. An uncontrolled elemental can’t be dismissed by you, and it disappears 1 hour after you summoned it. The DM has the elemental’s statistics.
A titan probably should be able to whistle up a full Elemental. And given what happened in Hearthdell, I feel like it wouldn't be impossible that Ashton wouldn't have to worry about Concentration since he's higher up the Elemental food chain as a baby titan. But if Ashton gets a summon ability, it's probably going to be one or the other on full or minor.
Transmute Stone:
You choose an area of stone or mud that you can see that fits within a 40-foot cube and that is within 120 feet, and choose one of the following effects. Transmute Rock to Mud. Nonmagical rock of any sort in the area becomes an equal volume of thick and flowing mud that remains for the spell’s duration. If you cast the spell on an area of ground, it becomes muddy enough that creatures can sink into it. Each foot that a creature moves through the mud costs 4 feet of movement, and any creature on the ground when you cast the spell must make a Strength saving throw. A creature must also make this save the first time it enters the area on a turn or ends its turn there. On a failed save, a creature sinks into the mud and is restrained, though it can use an action to end the restrained condition on itself by pulling itself free of the mud. If you cast the spell on a ceiling, the mud falls. Any creature under the mud when it falls must make a Dexterity saving throw. A creature takes 4d8 bludgeoning damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. Transmute Mud to Rock. Nonmagical mud or quicksand in the area no more than 10 feet deep transforms into soft stone for the spell’s duration. Any creature in the mud when it transforms must make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, a creature becomes restrained by the rock. The restrained creature can use an action to try to break free by succeeding on a Strength check (DC 20) or by dealing 25 damage to the rock around it. On a successful save, a creature is shunted safely to the surface to an unoccupied space.
Again, shaping and manipulating earth is very much in the titan wheelhouse. Could be useful for ambushes.
Wall of Stone:
A nonmagical wall of solid stone springs into existence at a point you choose within range. The wall is 6 inches thick and is composed of ten 10-foot-by-10-foot panels. Each panel must be contiguous with at least on other panel. Alternatively, you can create 10-foot-by-20-foot panels that are only 3 inches thick. If the wall cuts through a creature’s space when it appears, the creature is pushed to one side of the wall (your choice). If a creature would be surrounded on all sides by the wall (or the wall and another solid surface), that creature can make a Dexterity saving throw. On a success, it can use its reaction to move up to its speed so that it is no longer enclosed by the wall. The wall can have any shape you desire, though it can’t occupy the same space as a creature or object. the wall doesn’t need to be vertical or resting on any firm foundation. It must, however, merge with and be solidly supported by existing stone. Thus you can use this spell to bridge a chasm or create a ramp. If you create a span greater than 20 feet in length, you must halve the size of each panel to create supports. You can crudely shape the wall to create crenelations, battlements, and so on. The wall is an object made of stone that can be damaged and thus breached. Each panel has AC 15 and 30 hit points per inch of thickness. Reducing a panel to 0 hit points destroys it and might cause connected panels to collapse at the DM’s discretion. If you maintain your concentration on this spell for 10 minutes, the wall becomes permanent and can’t be dispelled. Otherwise, the wall disappears when the spell ends.
More earth manipulation. And hey! Potential camping spell. Could make a little rock tent to protect everyone while camping. ...And potentially destroy it really easily with siege damage in the morning.
6th Level
Bones of the Earth:
You cause up to six pillars of stone to burst from places on the ground that you can see within range. Each pillar is a cylinder that has a diameter of 5 feet and a height of up to 30 feet. The ground where a pillar appears must be wide enough for its diameter, and you can target ground under a creature if that creature is Medium or smaller. Each pillar has AC 5 and 30 hit points. When reduced to 0 hit points, a pillar crumbles into rubble, which creates an area of difficult terrain with a 10-foot radius. The rubble lasts until cleared. If a pillar is created under a creature, that creature must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or be lifted by the pillar. A creature can choose to fail the save. If a pillar is prevented from reaching its full height because of a ceiling or other obstacle, a creature on the pillar takes 6d6 bludgeoning damage and is restrained, pinched between the pillar and the obstacle. The restrained creature can use an action to make a Strength or Dexterity check (the creature’s choice) against the spell’s saving throw DC. On a success, the creature is no longer restrained and must either move off the pillar or fall off it.
This is, essentially, the Guardian Pillars from the Earth Elemental section. Just without whatever protection those were supposed to offer.
Investiture of Stone:
Until the spell ends, bits of rock spread across your body, and you gain the following benefits: You have resistance to bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage from nonmagical weapons. You can use your action to create a small earthquake on the ground in a 15-foot radius centered on you. Other creatures on that ground must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or be knocked prone. You can move across difficult terrain made of earth or stone without spending extra movement. You can move through solid earth or stone as if it was air and without destabilizing it, but you can’t end your movement there. If you do so, you are ejected to the nearest unoccupied space, this spell ends, and you are stunned until the end of your next turn.
Honestly, this offers a mix from earlier spells and abilities as well as some of Ashton's barbarian abilities. So it's got potential to be highly redundant. So probably not this spell, but maybe the small earthquake ability in general.
Move Earth:
Choose an area of terrain no larger than 40 feet on a side within 120 feet. You can reshape dirt, sand, or clay in the area in any manner you choose for up to 2 hours. You can raise or lower the area’s elevation, create or fill in a trench, erect or flatten a wall, or form a pillar. The extent of any such changes can’t exceed half the area’s largest dimension. So, if you affect a 40-foot square, you can create a pillar up to 20 feet high, raise or lower the square’s elevation by up to 20 feet, dig a trench up to 20 feet deep, and so on. It takes 10 minutes for these changes to complete. At the end of every 10 minutes you spend concentrating on the spell, you can choose a new area of terrain to affect. Because the terrain’s transformation occurs slowly, creatures in the area can’t usually be trapped or injured by the ground’s movement. This spell can’t manipulate natural stone or stone construction. Rocks and structures shift to accommodate the new terrain. If the way you shape the terrain would make a structure unstable, it might collapse. Similarly, this spell doesn’t directly affect plant growth. The moved earth carries any plants along with it.
Yet more earth manipulation. Also another potential camp spell, though honestly more limited in such applicability than Wall of Stone.
8th Level
Earthquake:
You create a seismic disturbance at a point on the ground that you can see within 500 feet. For up to 1 minute, an intense tremor rips through the ground in a 100-foot-radius circle centered on that point and shakes creatures and structures in contact with the ground in that area. The ground in the area becomes difficult terrain. Each creature on the ground that is concentrating must make a Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, the creature’s concentration is broken. When you cast this spell and at the end of each turn you spend concentrating on it, each creature on the ground in the area must make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, the creature is knocked prone. This spell can have additional effects depending on the terrain in the area, as determined by the DM. Fissures. Fissures open throughout the spell’s area at the start of your next turn after you cast the spell. A total of 1d6 such fissures open in locations chosen by the DM. Each is 1d10 x 10 feet deep, 10 feet wide, and extends from one edge of the spell’s area to the opposite side. A creature standing on a spot where a fissure opens must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or fall in. A creature that successfully saves moves with the fissure’s edge as it opens. A fissure that opens beneath a structure causes it to automatically collapse (see below). Structures. The tremor deals 50 bludgeoning damage to any structure in contact with the ground in the area when you cast the spell and at the start of each of your turns until the spell ends. If a structure drops to 0 hit points, it collapses and potentially damages nearby creatures. A creature within half the distance of a structure’s height must make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, the creature takes 5d6 bludgeoning damage, is knocked prone, and is buried in the rubble, requiring a DC 20 Strength (Athletics) check as an action to escape. The DM can adjust the DC higher or lower, depending on the nature of the rubble. On a successful save, the creature takes half as much damage and doesn’t fall prone or become buried.
Ah, the big earth spell. I'd love to see Ashton become an earthshaker with this spell, but also know that if the Shard is going to give them access to this, it's not going to be until they're at a level that the full casters can use 8th Level spells.

My new toy is here and... Well, there's good news and bad news.
Good news: it's perfect. Absolutely perfect. I...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
There's no way for me to get a good photo of that colorshift, especially in bathroom lighting, but I tried . It is such a dark reddish purple and gives an almost matte black effect with minimal lighting. the base is super see through and the little whisps of colorshift pigment going down the narrow shaft is just...
Tumblr media
Just the right angle gives you the gold/green effect and that firey red.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I am super happy I decided to get it. This coloration is what, sadly, gave me immediate buyers remorse over a custom of the same model. The shop did an amazing job with the custom, but I feel this pour fits the model so much better. if I had just waited a week to put in my custom order, I would have tried to get this one instead. now I still have to work on selling my older model.
OH.. and the bad news? Well, you won't believe this, but...
I apparently DO have a sensitivity to Near Clear. Because of course I would. 🙄
I cleaned it off thoroughly and then the plan was to use it and see if I felt the same as I did with my other NC toy, but then I realized I was setting myself up for some extreme discomfort in the name of science if I AM sensitive (again, I was hospitalized the first time around and unaware of what caused it) and i just don't wanna be uncomfortable in a sensitive area (or, you know, HOSPITALIZED) so I stuck it in my mouth and sat and waited.
Tumblr media
I removed it and was like... meh. sore jaw, but not much else...
then after a few minutes, my gums felt raw. my tongue felt sandpapery. I became hyper aware of where my teeth sat and my upper palate and throat felt heavy (i don't know the feeling... it was the same with my abdomen and pelvic area... hyper aware with a heavy pressure feeling). it just felt wrong. nothing LOOKS bad, though. no redness, no rash, no bumps, no blisters. nothing seems swollen. it just doesn't feel right and it doesn't feel good.
soOoOoOoOo, yeah. I don't want to say 'allergy' but it does seem I'm highly sensitive to it. I'm not sure what part of the material I'm sensitive to since all of my regular platinum cure silicone toys are fine, but I will be doing more research. just not with my body. I am side eyeing the fact that I will have to use protection with parts of my collection because there's no way in hell I'm getting rid of them. So no more Near Clear toys, which...
Tumblr media
ok, fine, whatever. Near Clear Colorshifts are a weakness, and apparently, my body knows that and wants to manifest that in physical form. I was really wanting a near clear colorshift tenta fork from Strangebedfellas , but I guess I'll have to figure something else out.

Stuff I Watched in 2024 – Godspeed (Cartoon Pilot):
Tumblr media
What is it?
Godspeed is a 30 min pilot that was Kickstarted by the guy who made Final Space, an absolutely wonderful show which is sadly now lost media (please consider pirating it from somewhere if you get the chance). It's about a young woman named Iris and her struggles to survive on a post-apocalyptic earth after any hope for rescue has long since gone.
Things of Note:
Available for free on YouTube so it's a real easy watch. I watched it on BluRay though because I helped fund it (Yes, my name is in the credits somewhere).
Content warning for some pretty bleak subject matter including grief and suicide. It's handled well for what it's worth.
I'm both really happy that Olan Rogers got this done and really impressed at how quick the turnaround was.
I really think that Final Space fans will like this one. It feels a lot like that show did in it's more serious moments.
Animation is a bit choppy but the colors are very nice and it's got a good atmosphere. I suspect a full show would look phenomenal.
You don't get much time with the characters but what you do get is fairly impactful.
It's a bit meh in the humor department, which is weird for an Olan Rogers deal, but humor is barely a focus so who cares. I can see a full show developing this aspect (specifically the robot friend) into something pretty good.
My biggest complaint is actually the DVD menu music. It's only ten seconds long which meant it looped in a very obvious way a LOT before I actually started the thing. Such a weird and obvious oversight.
No, you don't understand. I ~really~ think you will enjoy this if you were a fan of Final Space.
Final Verdict:
A solid start to what could be a pretty engaging show. I really want this one to succeed.
Stuff I've watched so far:
Godspeed
Orion and the Dark.
Day Job
--------------------
I actually have a bunch of these I've been putting off doing so I'm going to try and just hammer them out over the next few days. Apologies in advance for people who are just here for the Peanuts stuff.
As always, let me know if there's anything particularly good out in the animation world that I should see. I'm always looking for new stuff to watch.

I feel like Sonic stories work best when they're treated as if they're each in their own vacuum seperate from everything else while still having a solid path of canon. It's why I can't stand Frontiers' constant callbacks and references. Instead of being a substantial standalone experience frontiers is just a meh checklist of things that just scream "we totally get the series guys! Trust us!" And I don't see the appeal in that whatsoever.
I think a balance can be struck.
I like how the games from SA1 to '06 are all connected, even though as a kid I skipped SA2 and so ShTH was very confusing to me lol. This is how we got something as memorable as Shadow's character arc, or even Tails', because his realization that he should be more than Sonic's sidekick in SA1 stuck in SA2.
Sometimes, later games did this too: most memorably, Generations connects to Colors by reminding us that Eggman was left stranded in outer space, and that's how he found the Time Eater. That's cool! Maybe a recap would be in order to not leave newcomers in the dark, but it's rewarding when games build on top on each other. I'm thinking of what the original trilogy of AA did, where Phoenix would more or less explain relevant information from the past games without going into full spoiler territory if possible.
Frontiers doesn't do that. Frontiers is a standalone game going by its plot only, as many others before it. It's the plethora of quick references that make the dialogue hard to follow for a newcomer, but most of them could be cut without issue. I'd argue that the only part of the story that fully connects to a past game is Tails being ashamed of his behavior in Forces, which... you know that I think it was handled less than elegantly :P

I'm gonna be a huge hater but god I agree so hard about the chaos design for hades 2.
In general they all look even MORE normative than they did in the first game to the point of almost being uncanny to me. I largely place this on them being hopefully unfinished tho. But god chaos being made so normal and made more conventionally hotter is like no!!! why!!!
I'm so tired the people going "it's a game for all the bisexuals" and like nemesis has the tiniest waist ever, everybody has the same body type beyond Hephaestus whose character doesn't exist in a vacuum and is considered to be ugly or like. Hestia.
This is a bit of a long rant but it feels uncomfortable on how the only unconventional traits for female characters are put on one that has a role of an old mother. Like. Desexualized compared to the rest. I'm not sure if I make sense but yeah :( sucks to suck
don't be sorry of being a hater my friend because you said exactly what I was thinking. there's something very strange about the... like... heightened appeals of the designs. and they were already drawn all to be extremely conventionally attractive in the first game. somehow they amped it up for the second for what reason...
I've read somewhere that the artist got the sprites done in 1-2 rounds so I'm not hopeful abt them being unfinished and thus being fixed later but one can hope.
you're especially right about hestia and hephaestus. it does feel like it was a design choice purely driven by critique of the previous games lack of body diversity and facial as well. plus deciding to make the God who, by definition in the Greek myth, is often defined as "ugly or revolting" (as part of his whole disability as well) the One diversely bodied character is strange. would I prefer him be skinny? no but there should've been variety in the first place.
hestia design is kind of cute but strange to me too. mostly cantn understand this allergy for using dark skin colors that aren't in the greyscale LOL her faces proportions are odd and idk why her lips are white...
justbidk man... I'm kind of tired to hear people's only defense to the chaos redesign and every other design being, "but they serve nonbinary cunt slay!" like is that all? is it really everything behind it? to "serve cunt slay" because they're nonbinary? like I feel like people are so easily pleased when their lizard brain Is appeased by conventionally attractive designs that they can't criticize the designs they like because they're hot so what's to criticize.
I'm. not saying I'm better for being disillusioned I guess I'm just shocked that we went on the internet from being very critical of media with lack of body and ethnic diversity and unique character designs (justified or not) to just like being aggro when someone as so even barely disagrees with the common thought that the designs of hades are "good". you're not evil for liking them as they are, but you need to accept they're not very good. that's it. it's really simple. and like I said before too I'm sure the artist behind them is paid enough not to care about people saying this. but fans will fight with grit teeth to defend the idea that they're good designs actually.
it's just a shame that the visual style is so much less strong now too. that at least was the saving grace of the 1st game designs for me. now it's... meh

Sy meets Night Elves?
it never went anywhere but meh why not as I'm leveling my Arms Warrior through Pandamonium
“Uh…Captain, you seein’ this?” Syverson leaned forward in the truck, looking out of the windshield.
“A big fuck off tree in the middle of the goddamn desert? Yeah, I’m seein’ it.” Syverson said, “Matches the satellite images we got. Approach it, slowly though.”
“Yes, Sir.” Their speed decreased somewhat as they steered towards it, pulling up outside what looked like an entrance, an archway in the trunk. It was even more massive up close, the diameter stretching on what looked like endlessly and they could not see the top, just miles and miles of trunk and branches. “Holy shit.” They just sat there in the truck for a long moment, staring up at it before getting out as someone emerged from within, their armor strange. What skin they could see was dark, almost the color of a bruise and long thick ears jutted out from under thick dark hair, tapering to a point.
“State your business.” They ordered sternly.
“They can speak English.” One of the soldiers said and the woman gave him a withering look.
“Who speaks for you.” She said and Syverson stepped forward, drawing her attention.
“That would be me, Captain Syverson.” He said and held out his hand, “Ma’am.” She looked at it briefly but didn’t take it and he let his hand fall back to his side.
“You will come with me.” She said, “I will take you to the Mother Priestess.”
“To who?” Syverson asked and she sighed, clearly annoyed with the question.
“Our leader.” She said, “All outsiders are to be brought before her.”
“A meetin’ with your leader? Just like that?” He asked.
“Do not make me repeat myself.” She said and turned, walking back into the tree without another word and leaving them to follow. It was dark inside and smelled of earth, several other soldiers wearing the same armor looking at them curiously and with a hint of suspicion. “Step onto the platforms and hold onto the vines. You, Captain Syverson, will join me.” He stepped onto a platform with her, noticing how she stood a good foot taller than him, a curved sword strapped to her hip. His men stepped onto similar platforms and she gave some kind of signal, the platforms starting to rise and bringing them up through the tree, his hand tightening around the vine next to him as the ground shrank away. They eventually slowed to a stop and the woman stepped out into the open space. “Watch your step.” She said and he followed her, noticing his men come out of similar openings.
“Jesus.” He said, looking up and around him. There was an entire city of buildings and people inside, the dwellings seeming to have been grown out of the ground itself, but stone archways and walkways cut paths through the area. They were getting attention, more soldiers and what he guessed were civilians looking at them curiously, whispering to each other.
“Priestess.” The woman at his side said and he looked over as another joined them, this one wearing long robes that accentuated her figure, her skin also dark and her deep purple hair flowing down her back.
“More visitors!” She said excitedly, looking at all of them with a friendly smile. “Are you taking them before the Mother?”
“Yes, Priestess.” The soldier said.
“I’ll take them the rest of the way.”
“I don’t think--”
“It’s fine, Captain.” She said, “I’ve a good feeling about these ones.” There was a pause before the soldier nodded.
“Yes, Priestess.” She said, “This one is their leader.” She moved her head at Syverson and the Priestess looked at him, her smile widening a touch.
“Welcome!” She said and went to his side, looping her arm in his, looking down at him with solid light blue eyes that glowed softly.
“You will show respect when brought before the Mother.” The soldier said.
“That will be all Captain.” The Priestess said and turned her attention back to Syverson, “Shall we?”
“After you, ma’am.” He said with a nod and they started forward, moving through the city.
“Don’t mind the Sentinel Captain.” She said apologetically, “She’s always been a bit surly, and recent events have not improved her disposition.”
“Recent events, ma’am?” One of his men asked.
“You are not the first to come here.” She said, “There have been others and they have not been…kind. Oh, but where are my manners? My name is Elistrya, I’m a Priestess of the Goddess. It’s my honor to serve the Mother Priestess, Mavranda, who you will be meeting shortly.”
“What should I expect?” Syverson asked.
“Just be polite and courteous, and you’ll be fine. Also, please keep in mind that you are guests here, so try not to make any undue demands.” Elistrya said.
“I’m guessing the…others tried.” Syverson said.
“Oh, yes, quite rudely.” She said, “We offered anything they might need freely, but they insisted on trying to take more than was offered by force. It did not end well for them.”
“How’d you handle it?” Syverson asked.
“They were removed from the tree via the…direct route.” She said delicately.
“You threw them from the top, in other words.” Syverson said.
“I mean, not me personally,” She said, leaning into him briefly, “But the Sentinels made sure their return to the ground was as expeditious as possible.”
“Goddamn.” Syverson said, “Well, ma’am, we will be on our best behavior, you have our word on that. Right, gentlemen?” There was a chorus of agreement from behind him and she smiled again.
“Wonderful!” She said.
“So, ma’am,” One of his men started, “If you don’t mind my asking, what is this place?”
“Its name has no direct translation from our language to yours, unfortunately.” She said, “But the closest we’ve found in your mythology is the Yggdrasil, the World Tree. You may call it that if you wish.”
“And where’d y’all come from?”
“Oh, we’ve always been here.” Elistrya said, “Just slightly…out of step with your reality. Able to see but not interact.”

I know I'm biased because I've been a faithful follower of yours forever and a day, plus I am also a connoisseur of anything green. That deep, rich mane of beautiful green is definitely my favorite color on you. I think the cool shade matches perfectly with your lovely complexion and you've always had a deft hand when it comes to your makeup. The fact that you color matched it so perfectly and contrasted it with a lighter green in the middle is such a great look. You are so pretty it's not even fair but to pair it with such wonderful colors it's just taking it to a whole new level.
oh my goodness, this is so unbelievably sweet 😭 thank you so much 🥺 I’ve been feeling rather meh about myself lately so I wanted to post selfies from a time where I felt decent. I always feel my best with green hair, like, green hair just feels … right. I feel so at home and confident in my own skin with green hair, but I get SO bored with hair colors so quickly because the rest of my life feels just horribly stagnant and mundane and I can’t really change any of it, so I always end up changing my hair even when it’s a color I genuinely love it being because the like one thing I CAN control about my life is my appearance and changing up my hair is the cheapest way to alter it lol 😅
we’re going back green at some point soon-ish though !!! I wanna do the super bright highlighter lime green color I used to do years ago (I think the last picture I have of this exact hair color I wanna go back to is from like January 2022 lol, it’s been a while) and then I’ll make my way back to that darker shade again. I just want another vibrant color for now, and I miss that like in your face electric bright ass fuckin green I used to do. it was my all-time favorite hair color (and part of my brand™️ where I worked at the time because everyone knew the weird little goth barista chick with fluorescent green hair lmfao) until I mixed up that dark rich green shade from those pinned selfies and then I just kept doing that because it required less lightening/processing done on my hair to maintain it, haha
I just need to buy bleach, dye, and new hair extensions and find someone to install them for me before I can take my current ones out so I can start the process of switching colors because I will not let myself be seen with my natural hair lol 😅 I am v impatient to do this though, I want my signature greens back already !!! someone come install my extensions for me lmao, I’ll teach you how to do it, it’s not that hard !!! it’s just impossible to do on your own head because of how quickly your arms get tired and how precise you have to be for them to stay nice and maintained and not fall out and akfhldnshdkfj I just want a new hair color so badddddd UGH. I’ve been pink for far too long now and I need a color change desperately 😩

tips on how to lyft from u1ta/ s3ph0ra??
So where I live we don't have u1ta but we do have s3ph0ra (cause where isn't there s3ph0ra?)
I actually have gotten away with quite a lot at s3ph0ra, like I don't do huge hauls from there but I do manage to get some stuff.
My tips are as follows:
chat up the workers, and ask questions. if you brush them off it seems sus IMO but you don't have to be tooooooo chatty. just be nice, ask questions about stuff, and ask for a color match maybe.
the second tip is the magic bag/long sleeves trick. so I have this lunchbox that allows me to slip things in very discretely. like the strap is very close to the opening and so if I hold it like at my wrist, and I'm wearing long sleeves which cover the "hole", it's pretty easy to just slip whatever in there.
3- the squat and conceal. Wear a coat or a sweater for this. you squat down with something discretely in your hand (or basket) and either on your way down/ or already down, slip this in your purse. hold your purse close to your body, and "in" your open sweater. you'll squat down and pretend to look at the bottom row of products. maybe swatch a bit, read ingredients, whatever, just make it believable that you're actually just squatting to check something out.
four! the sleeve-in. easy, been there, done that, just be discrete.
5- don't get too greedy. especially if you're new at lyfting.
six- their security system- at least at my location- is a joke. they use visible (but discreet) RFID stickers. I have never seen an RFID inside a box so far. AGAIN I SAY SO FAR BECAUSE MAYBE THERE ARE SOME I JUST HAVEN'T SEEN. Always, always, always, look inside the box. just make sure. you can never be too safe. always carefully inspect the box from the outside, peel off any RFID. I notice they're always just simple white stickers with an electromagnetic chip inside.
test things out, swatch, whatever. even shit you don't want. so that you really look like you're looking around and aren't going in for specific items that *suddenly* vanish from their stock.
if they ask if you need help or guidance, what I like to do is tell them that I got a gift card for Christmas/my birthday or whatever, and I'm trying to figure out what to buy with it. I say that I don't really wear any makeup so I'm just looking around until something pops out to me. I accept to look at whatever they offer. (till this one bitch showed me a color corrector for my naturally red cheeks. ma'am, it's built-in blush why would I color correct that?)
Anyways: here's the stuff I got from there over the last six-ish months.
