The Girl

Warning: Parenthood, pregnancy, babies, boy mom Y/N, brief birth scene there.

Now THIS baby, this baby was vasectomy baby. You called them vasectomy baby because by NO MEANS did you think you'd have them. You and your husband had dusted your hands and called it an end to the Midoriya plantation.

However, you just had to have that last dip in the risky pool and there you found yourself standing in the bathroom, in smack disbelief at the two lined pregnancy stick in your hand. Five boys and now no doubt another on the way.

You weren't sure how your husband was going to react considering you had both talked about it and decided that you would be done. So that's how you ended up waiting for him to get home to break the news. You did it with all the boys that just so happened to be present when you had broken the news.

"Izuku."

Your large husband turned to look at you as he paused whatever he was reading on his phone to look at you. The sides of his green head of hair were starting to go grey, giving him a devilishly attractive look that you couldn't help but adore. "Yah?" He asked so calm and unsuspecting of your bombshell of news.

You didn't say anything more as you placed down the pregnancy stick before him. His eyes followed you before landing on the stick. His eyes widened comedically before turning to you. He blinked once. Twice. Three times. Before turning to look back at the stick. He put down his phone before turning to look at you fully.

He pointed to the stick with a large finger. "Is this..."

"Yep."

"And you're..."

"Yes."

"Huh." He let out nonchalantly as he took a moment to digest the news.

Walking into the room was your oldest, Toshinori. The green haired fifteen year old boy walked in, dressed in his UA first year uniform. He took an apple from the fruit bowl before his eyes caught on the stick. The apple dropped from his hand as he looked to you with the same round green eyes that his father had. "No!" You persed your lips and nodded your head. Toshinori's jaw dropped before pointing to you and looking to his father. "Is this..."

Midoriya nodded with an amused chuckle. "Boy number 6." Your husband titled.

You gave him a pointed look, putting your hands on your hips. "Izuku!"

"What?" He chuckled putting his hands up. "Honey..." He let out a sigh as he moved to carefully pull you into his arms. "I'm grateful for everything you give me. This is just a surprise, nothing more and nothing less." He told you honestly, moving to hold your hand and bring your hand up so that he could kiss your knuckles. You couldn't help but melt in his arms, always being so swayed by him.

"YASS!" Toshinori cheered, taking the both of you by surprise. "We can form a volleyball team!" He raced out of the kitchen heading upstairs. "ASAHI! GUESS WHAT DAD DID TO MOM AGAIN!"

Your husband's jaw dropped as you let out a loud laugh.

Having had so many boys, the both of you had kind of just assumed it would be a boy just like the other five. It was predictable at this rate. Even your friends had accepted it as a new boy to add to the Midoriya army.

You didn't mind. You were a boy mom. It was kind of what you did and after the second boy, you understood completely how they worked, all being little copies of their father and all running off of chaos, affection, and obssession over something whether it be quirks, heroes, a sport, there was something they would cling to and hold till their grave.

So as your stomach grew and the baby inside you was also seemingly a boy from the ultrasounds, there was nothing to suggest otherwise. Considering you had had your youngest Kota just a little under two years prior, Midoriya had easily redone the nursary and everything was ready for Midoriya sprout Number 6.

However, leaving you both surprised was when you gave birth.

"Congratulations, Mr and Mrs Midoriya. It's a girl." The doctor had said as they started cleaning up your little crying baby, bringing her over to you.

You and your standing by husband had both froze. You looked up to Midoriya as he had once again, his eyes widened so wide you were sure he had never looked so shocked. "It's a what!?" He asked.

At this point the labour and delivery nurses were all giggling, having had seen this all before and seeing you often too. You couldn't even get a word in as your girl was placed on your chest.

She was crying, her eyes squeezed shut as she had lungs big enough to wake up the dead. She had a healthy head of green curls like all your boys.

A girl.

A little baby girl.

You quickly shushed her as you brought a hand to her back, holding her gently. "Aww sweetheart, it's okay." You felt tears in your eyes as you smiled, a burst of happiness that made everything else in the room fade away other than your little girl.

It took a minute or two before your husband could finally hold her. She was smaller than her brothers were, sitting in his large hands weighing so light he feared he would drop her, despite having held a newborn plenty of times before.

You saw it.

You could see the moment that your husband switched over from a boy dad to a girl dad.

His eyes softened as he shushed her sweetly. Her little knitted hat sat on her head as she was put against his chest, wrapped up sweetly like a gift from the heavens. Your husband was a crier. It was what he did, but you had never seen him sob so hard since Toshinori's birth. And here he was. A grown man, crying as much tears as the baby.

Once you three had your time together, you soon allowed in the boys followed by your mother-in-law.

"MOM!" Your boys streamed in fast and quickly as if they had been seperated from you for months. They headed towards you quickly as your husband stayed by your side, the biggest smile on his face as he looked down at you and your daughter proudly.

You chuckled as you turned to the boys. "Shhh! Sprouts, you've gotta keep quite. Your sister is sleeping." You told them as you looked down at the little girl, so exhausted from spending the last few hours inducing you into labour to get here.

The boys jaws dropped as they looked to their sister. Instantly you were surrounded on all sides, all of them peering down to look at their little sister. So small and tiny.

You looked to your eldest. Toshinori had a wobbly smile on his face, and then you saw the tears. He quickly wiped his eyes, trying to stop them from falling on the baby. He leaned down and kissed your head. "Are you okay mom?"

You smiled at your boy. He always thought about you, no matter what. You nodded as you put a hand to his shoulder. "I am, thank you baby."

When you turned to your mother in law, Inko was bawling her eyes out as she hugged her son. "A girl!?" She asked softly.

It only made your husband laugh as he nodded, so much taller than her now. He nodded. "Yes, Okaasan. A girl."

Inko shuffled over to you, tired of her son for a second as she kissed your forehead before looking down at the little girl. She awed at the sweet little girl. "How precious." She whispered. "You did such a good job, Y/N. What are you guys gonna call her?"

You looked to your husband, honestly having not entertained the idea of girl names in over a decade. Your husband however seemed like he had been waiting for this question all his life. He put a hand on his mother's shoulder and said a single name.

"Inko."

what difference does it make?: at first i was going to say its jophiel wanting to figure out what went wrong but azazel makes them promise not to, but i think its better suited for azazel understanding hes a demon, but he cant help but still have faith in the almighty

please please please let me get what i want: fuckkk is this about azazel being a demon but still wanting to do good 😭 short but still painful

ever fallen in love (with someone you shouldn't've): my first reaction to the title alone was like the second image of the kambucha girl meme. anyway i think this one is about them becoming friends (or more?? 👀) but knowing its seen as wrong. "And if I start a commotion, I run the risk of losing you and that's worse" makes me also think of jophiel talking to the metatron and realizing he shouldnt ask about azazel lest he risk the poor thing being smited.

nothing critical: ohhhh this one gives hella vibes of jophiel not trusting heaven and knowing "something isnt right here" in regards to the fall-- HOLD UP "I know, someone had to go, If not him it'd be me instead" HELLO??? aziraphale asking for jophiel??? is this like after he finds out what azazels name used to be??

flowers never bend with the rainfall: hmm... i feel like this is a plot point song. not sure why. but "And I hide behind the shield of my illusion" makes me think it pertains to azazel

bird in space: oh this ones a bit tricky. i think ive reached the songs that no longer fit the lore we've been given thus far. so the only thing i can think rn is jophiel enjoying earthly pleasures? not rlly sure

angel, won't you call me?: oh fuckkk is this about a fight they have? "I fled at the face of my rival. When I felt his breath at the back of my neck. Angel, won't you call?" theres no way that isnt about azazel saying smth and then leaving, only to be scared he severed his tie to the only person thats been nice to him.

the stranger: first of this is a bop and im loving it. very groovy. the first thing that comes to mind is the "choose your faces wisely" prophecy. ooo is this about jophiel trying to convince azazel hes still meant to be an angel? that he wasnt meant to fall? also, the last verse is sticking out to me... not sure why

all i think about now: fuckkkkk this is giving me the vibes of jophiel finding out azazel Fell cuz of him and feeling guilty about it. "If I'm late, can I thank you now?" FUCKING OW?? oh yeah for sure this is about jophiel finding out and being sucker punched with guilt

sea of love: oh yay a happy song again 😌 okay this is just short and sweet. gives me forgiveness and/or confession vibes.

who are you, really?: this one sounds important and i am glaring!! makes me think of "we dont need heaven we dont need hell" and also "a demon/angel that goes along with hell/heaven as far as he can". also just makes me think of jophiel speaking.

the moon will sing: i fucking love this song but i dont think ive ever looked at the lyrics so lets goooo. right away i see "I could have been anyone, anyone else. Before you made the choice for me" and think of aziraphale asking and falling for jophiel, and in a way making the choice of jophiel staying an angel. "Instead, I made a bed with apathy" jophiel trying not to care about a random demon. "I shine only with the light you gave me" jophiel giving azazel ideas on how to do "good" while being "bad". also with that line, thinking of azazel saying that to god and being sad about having fallen AUGHH i have a whole animatic in my head with this song and im losing my mind

but then. abby gets sick. she texts u saying that she can't study with u bc she's got a cold and ur like??? fuck studying??? ur already on ur way to her place, knowing she's at her dad's, with two full bags of medicine, treats, and remedies from ur childhood like sprite, ginger ale, chamomile, vaporu, anything. and u show up at her door like Open Up Honey. and, on the outside, she's like u didn't have to come, I don't wanna get u sick :( but on the inside she's all warm and fuzzy bc ur taking care of her!! u!! who took so long to warm up to her in the first place and is now her sweet lil gf who never wants to leave her side!! and ur like yeah yeah whatever let me in but on the inside ur freaking out bc abby is ur baby n she's sick which means she's uncomfortable and u don't want her to be uncomfortable :(

so u spend the entire time taking care of her, cooking her soup From Scratch, making her rest on the couch n keeping her refreshed. ur sitting on the couch with her head on ur lap, rubbing lil circles onto her shoulder when Jerry comes home. abby, who was fast asleep, pops up so fucking fast she gets dizzy when the door opens and Jerry calls her name. ur steadying her when he comes into the living room and is like. oh. hi! u must be the girlfriend! and ur like hi yes nice to me you! and abby is still there all discombobulated like hi dad. ouch.

and the second she winces both u n jerry are like lunging forward to take care of her. u two proceed to help her upstairs to her room, getting her more soup n liquids n keeping her comfortable, and Jerry gets to see all the work you've already done to take care of her, and how ur taking care of her now even though he's there. he leaves you two in her room, abby about two second from passing out on ur lap and u reading to her. he walks back out to the living room and is like. 'huh. maybe everyone was just exaggerating.' but in reality he's like tearing up and getting emotional bc his baby girl, his lil Abigail, found someone who takes care of her and clearly loves her more than anything and that makes him so sappy bc he loves his daughter!!

n thank u honeybee, today is getting slowly better, I might have a lil cry n then get to work but who knows </3 this is also such a cute universe I really like it <3 wonderful developments in the college abby multiverse

Hi I'm not sure if you already answered this before, but do you like the ending of Rebirth? And how Aerith's death was played out? Why do you think Aerith's spirit lingered after her death? Was it to help Cloud cope or to make things worse for him? Sorry so many questions? 😅

There's a lot of questions but that's ok, as long as people don't mind that I probably won't get through them all since the long responses tend to take A LONG time to make, and I do actually have a life and hobbies, then people can keep sending em. If I really get overwhelmed I'll just close the inbox since I do prefer to write stuff that I can reuse. Which is sort of the case here, because yeah, I have addressed the ending, and no, I was not a fan. Really should make a single comprehensive review tbh.

As for why Aeriths spirit lingers, it's hard to say, it's hard to even say if it is her spirit, we can't even be sure if every Aerith we see post death is the same Aerith, or even is Aerith in the first place. Could Clouds mind coping and making something up. Could be an vision imparted by Sephiroth, could be anything, although I do think that Nanaki recognizing her in the ending cinematic is strong evidence for her actually being present. Now if that means her being present as a spirit, or present in another world, I could not tell you. I could not even tell you if there is a real difference between "existing in another world" and "being in the lifestream". That's the problem with making your story too convoluted, you are no longer able to effectively "read along" with the story, so you just have to accept whatever happens. There is no feeling of "ohhhh, so that's what's going on, duh", you instead get a sense of "ok, if you say that's whats happening I'll take your word for it". It's extremely unsatisfying, like bashing a puzzle into place with a hammer, sure you solved your complicated puzzle, but the only reason I was interested in the solution was because I though it was something clever that I should have been able to figure out myself. The one thing I can say is that despite all the grief Aerith gets from certain parts of the fandom (some of which deserved, some not) she's not intentionally trying to make things worse for Cloud. If Aerith is really there in body or spirit, and is fully able to exercise her own agency, then it's because she thinks that doing so will ultimately be for the best. She might be unsure of what to do, she might think that acting as though everything is alright is what is best for Clouds psyche, I don't know, but it's certain that she wants to help. My gut instinct is that this mirrors Aeriths attitude in the sleeping forest, she's realizes how messed up Clouds psyche really is, and is trying to unburden Cloud best she knows how. In the OG she tells him to go take care of himself and she'll go take care of Sephiroth, and here she takes a similar "it's all good, don't worry about me, I'll go stop meteor, you just go after Sephiroth ok?" attitude. The biggest question is why she specifically asks Cloud NOT to go after Sephiroth originally, but does an exact 180 here, but it could still be argued that the core of the message remains the same "don't take too much on your plate, you just focus on what you can focus on, and leave the rest to me". Hope that satisfied you, hard to answer things that are still this uncertain.

I'm SO happy with how they depicted Kurt in this episode. He feels full of life and I can visibly see how much the animators love him. We've only gotten a little bit of him, but this is my favorite animated Kurt by far.

Kurt was very stiff and passive on the original series and it felt like they didn't know what to do with him.

But now!?

He's so animated! He moves fluidly. He's beauty, he's grace! He's confident and There are so many mannerisms of his that they show from the comics!

Even with how this goofball sits! He's normally perched in the comics! And that tail animation!??? Just wow, beautiful. Amazing.

Also? We and by we, I mean me, myself, and I LOVE a short king and I'm happy the show keeps him that way!

I also enjoy how we see a quick swirl of purple smoke when he bamfs around instead of the grey smoke like in the pilot episode for "Pryde of the x-men."

And as much as I'd like to see my boy cheeked up, I'm happy that they gave him more clothing than Pryde of the x-men as well 😬😅

17. Past or present tense? Why?

Ohhhh, this has honestly shifted for me! I used to only write past tense back in the day, but somewhere along the line present tense started feeling more organic. I can't really explain why, but I feel like, at least in my eyes, it lends itself well to the way I write about stuff. I like to stay rooted in the characters POV and head and in that certain moment when I write, and I like to develop the actions and feelings slowly and kind of follow everything in a way that feels like you're watching it unfold as you read. Idk if I'm succeeding, but I try and I feel like present tense feels more natural for me with what I do. But I honestly don't have strong feelings about it, it just kind of happened and feels normal now.

20.Do you work on a single project or many at the same time? How does that work for you?

I definitely always have multiple things cooking at the same time. Now that the last chapter of Applause is out there I have one less "big" project lying around, which makes it easier to focus on other stuff.

I actually like having multiple stories to work on, that way I can switch whenever working on one is starting to feel very difficult and I feel like not being stuck on one idea makes it easier to find inspiration and get over creative dry patches. Does it make me write more effectively? Probably not. And it also keeps me from being as consistent in updating, but tbf I'd rather publish a little later than have to force myself to finish one thing if I don't like doing that rn.

Anywaysssss, the story has become so plot heavy in these two episodes!!! Until now, atleast till like, pretension, Adrien believed that his father loved him. He believed that he's just protective of him... In Season 4, he says that ' i love my father, i know he loves me, but i don't know why i just can't talk to him', but now in these episodes, we see Adrien straight up hating him, trying to get away, to escape. WOW! That was, TOTALLY AWESOME, and Unexpected, to be honest!! He, as Cat Noir, while knowing he was Gabriel, completely loses his cool with the glowy collector crap person...... He is now legit with and around him only because Gabriel possesses his amok. Talking about amok, was it just me, or the narration of the Gram de Vanilly story was kinda unclear..? Could be the language barrier or the fact that I had to concentrate on the subs too much to be able to grasp the meaning fully, but I had to assume at some points that 'they must be stating those events' or atleast 'this HAS to mean that' bla bla bla. like during the birth of Adrien... was Emily shown pregnant or is it the sentiadrien being born shown in metaphor, or like did they create Adrien in Emily's womb, somehow...? And it didn't include the story of Kagami too... Isn't she supposed to be a senti too? they said 'he met someone just like her... was this all we get about the story of Kagami being a senti????? (I seriously hope not). ALSO, CAT NOW SOMEWHAT KNOWS ABOUT CAT BLANC AND I SERIUSLY CAN'T WAIT TO SEE MORE. Detective Mick au, Mick is a detective on his last case before he's to be forced into retirement because of his condition and his last case is figuring out who keeps murdering the guitar players in bands in the LA club scene bands, so obviously he goes undercover without his bosses permission as a guitar player in a band called X-mass (shitty name), because their leader owes him a favour (he let Nikki go without bail for an inserious crime) and they need a guitarist as because of the murders surrounding guitarists suddenly the applications to become on is. Don't got any more real plot for this one still very early development.😅

Age swap AU, the dirt retold but all the characters have swapped age's with Mick, so like Nikki, Tommy and Vince are all Mick's age when Motley first starts out so like in their early thirties and Mick is like eighteen. This was just a funny idea for a character study of how different Motley would have been, acted and proceived by the public if things had been a bit different.

Motley mental asylum AU, Mick is a fresh faced graduate with a psych degree that gets his first job at an asylum. The rest of the guys are patients and he's forced to work with them.(Mick has skitsofrenia but doesn't know that himself yet). This is based on that one photo shoot they did with the straightjackets.

I think these ideas are kinda mid as of right now, but they do have some potential 😂

So I was bored and ended up doing an AC run of the Hunger Games simulator. This was... rough. :/

Alright, so. Let's go. Here are the tributes. Yes, I decided to use Akari instead of Kaede. And threw in Irina there just for, uh, fun?

The start is not too violent, except for Kanzaki and Yada… wow, girls. They're not holding back. Poor Koyama, he didn't get far.

Shuu gets a spear, Irina a shield, Rio a pair of sais, Sugino throwing knives and Itona a bow. (The last is oddly fitting for a ficlet in my mind where Itona is an archer, just saying)

I really don't understand how Karma did not get that bag from Maehara, though. >_>

Hayami remains calm, as always.

Day 1 Shuu, my boy, are you faring ok? It's definitely not like you to try to sleep through a whole day. Other than that, there are some sprained ankles, some stealing, some hunting for other tributes (Isogai and Kataoka, wtf???)

And then… Kurahashi strangles Irina.

Okay then. Well. She does have a crush on Karasuma, and Irina's her main competition, so. I guess I kinda get it?

Night 1 is quite non-violent. We have some Shuu & Chiba bonding.

Itona has left the gang and joined another group, and Karma and Ren have joined Terasaka, Isogai and Kataoka. Interesting group.

Poor Maehara! He started strong, getting a bag from Karma, but since then he's just been thinking about home, and now he passes out from exhaustion. Same with Rio. :/ And Sugino, poor baby…

And Yada, begging for Hazama to kill her... is she feeling guilty after killing Koyama? :/

Kataoka dies of hunger?! She must have been severly malnourished to begin with, you don't die of hunger in a couple of days :/

Day 3 Rio's on a roll. Now she kills Hayami.

Night 3 is a quiet night, followed by a quiet day. Poor kids, sleeping without warmth, crying themselves to sleep… And Kanzaki has an infection. Nothing much happens in day 4.

Night 4… Rio dies from thirst (even tho couple of nights ago she received clean water from a sponsor?) and Hazama kills Fuwa.

Day 5, Isogai strangles Okuda. Is that his first kill? I think so. He got so far without killing anyone, and now he caved in and did it. :/ (ETA: Oh, it wasn't his first kill, he already pushed Araki into the lava.) And he and Okuda were working together on previous days, basically through the whole thing! And on day 4 Okuda was tending his wounds. Damn this is sad…. He cried himself to sleep the previous night. That's when he broke. :/ (ETA2: That's when he realized that Okuda had killed Maehara!)

Night 5, we have three people left: Isogai, Kanzaki and Hazama. And… they must have kinda lost track of things, as for some reason they're sleeping shifts? 😅

And then, finally… Isogai kills Hazama, Kanzaki eats toxic berries (damn she got so far, and then she dies like that?), and Isogai wins.

But at what cost...?

I would not have been able to predict this result. Isogai wins, with three kills, and Karma killed no one. Nagisa was brutal. (Well, that was perhaps the least surprising thing...)
