The Last Twenty-Four Hours (BtVS)

So this is one of my old Buffyverse fic, posted to AO3 with some formatting changes and minor edits. The parts in italics are direct quotes from the show (there's a list of which episodes in the authors notes on AO3). It's an apocalypse fic, of the non-demonic variety, and shows how everyone copes. Enjoy!

The Last Twenty-Four Hours - There are twenty-four hours left before Sunnydale's destroyed and no one can stop it.

"It's all over then, isn't it?" Buffy asked, over the muffled sobs of Willow and Tara.

Giles nodded. "I'm afraid it is. There is nothing you can do."

"But I'm the slayer, it's what I do!"

"This isn't a demon, Buffy. I'm afraid this is quite out of your hands." Giles took off his glasses, rubbing the bridge of his nose. "The comet is to hit in Nepal. That won't make much of a difference to us. But the earthquake that is to hit only moments later will. It will start in San Francisco and travel down the San Andreas fault, breaking California into parts and causing massive tidal waves."

"So those lucky enough to survive the earthquake might not have a chance at all?" Xander asked.

"I'm afraid so. We have twenty-four hours everyone. That is all." Giles sat down on his couch. "I suggest you use the time wisely."

*** 5 PM ***

Buffy packed bags for Dawn and her mother. After telling them what was happening, they felt the need to leave. Dawn was still the Key, and nothing could help that. She tried hard not to cry...there really was no safe place in California, but Giles said New York should be okay. Amazingly, no one else was planning on leaving. They had all known they were going to die one way or another.

The only other person going with them was Spike. Good old Spike...he'd volunteered. Even he seemed afraid to stay. said all the demons were hightailing it out of California. And that meant he knew Joyce and Dawn might not be safe, so he said he'd go. He had no idea what this meant to her, even after the horrible way she'd treated him after he admitted he loved her. She needed to show him.

She had to.

*** 6 PM ***

Anya lay in bed, waiting for Xander. They were both fully clothed, which was unusual for them. "Have you called Cordelia?"

He nodded, sitting next to her. "Yeah. She and I spent a half hour apologizing. She told everyone except Angel."

"Why didn't she tell Angel?"

"He's in New York, hunting a demon there. It was important. She's sure he'll be safe there. She told me...she hoped I had been happy." He took one of Anya's hands in his. "I've been very happy, with you. Have I ever told you that?"

"No, not really."

"I'm the happiest I've ever been, Anya. If there was time, I'd marry you."

"Marry me?" she said in a shocked voice. Then she looked at the clock "Come on."

*** 7 PM ***

Willow and Tara stood, beaming, as the Justice of the Peace asked if anyone objected. Both of them shook their heads. "I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride," he said, looking at Xander and Anya, who were already doing just that.

"Congratulations!" the two women chorusedd, sharing hugs. Anya was crying, Willow was crying, Tara was crying...even Xander was leaking a few tears.

"I just wish you two..." Xander began, but Willow shook her head.

"We've already done a Wiccan bonding ceremony. That's enough," Willow said as Tara nodded. "Besides, you two...we knew it would happen eventually." She then looked at the two of them. "And here's our gift to you. We used my dad's credit card."

Tara handed them two plane tickets. "You two, you get out of here. Live a long life."

Xander looked choked up. "Will, Tara..."

"Just go," Willow said, brushing away a tear. "Go."

*** 8 PM ***

Spike didn't doze. He simply let the small blonde girl sleep in his arms. She'd tried to sleep with him, and just couldn't. He wouldn't have taken advantage of her anyhow. He kissed her forehead lightly. He had dreamed of a moment like this, where she laid in his arms like this, where she breathed in and out softly and slept. He hadn't imagined it would be because the world as they knew it now was going to change drastically.

He knew his sire was in New York. Spike had sent him on a wild goose chase there, knowing that this prophecy was going to happen. All the vampires in Sunnydale knew; he just hoped Angel didn't. And now he was going to do the hardest thing he could think of.

He was going to send Buffy to him.

But for now, he'd let her sleep.

*** 9 PM ***

Xander and Anya looked at their bags. "Should we go?" Anya asked.

"Yes," Xander said. Anya looked ready to argue, but Xander held his hand up. "Willow and Tara would never have given us these tickets if they thought we wouldn't use them. We can have a future together. We can have children and live a life that they can't."

"But I feel...selfish."

Xander nodded wearily. "I do too. But I know them. They'll find a way out of here. I hope."

Anya took his hand in hers, their fingers entwined, two simple gold bands the only new additions to the familiar sight. "They will. Even if I have...to..." She thought for a moment. "I have an idea."

*** 10 PM ***

Giles knew the vampires were gone. He could sit at Jenny's grave in peace. But even if there were vampires, he'd fight them off, get a few more hours of life before the inevitable end. "Jenny. I will be seeing you soon," he said, reaching out to touch her headstone. "I know you wanted me to live for a long time and grow old, and get over my fear of computers. But I won't do that, not now. Now, I will be with you again."

He took a drink of the alcohol he'd brought with him It was a superstition that to drink while sitting on the grave of a person who liked alcohol that you would not get drunk, and he knew for a fact that the person who's grave was next to Jenny's liked to drink. And after drinking half the bottle, Giles felt no different.

Call it a parting gift of some sort.

*** 11 PM ***

The slow sound of Willow's breathing let Tara know she was asleep. It was easy to tell when her lover was asleep. Her chest rose and fell in a steady pattern. Her hair moved not an inch, and her face had a serene look to it. Giving those tickets to Xander and Anya had been so hard for Willow to do. She knew they'd use them, though, not because they wanted to leave them but because they knew that's really what Willow wanted.

And Tara wanted that, too.

She continued to watch Willow sleep, a strange comfort falling over her.

*** 12 AM ***

Buffy woke up, no longer feeling Spike's lean body next to hers. But there was a note and a plane ticket and his duster laid over her carefully. She unfolded the note and read it.

"Slayer, you're needed more than I am. Go with your family to New York, protect Dawn. The world needs a good person, not an evil demon with a chip. The duster is yours, to remember me. The poem on the other page is for Dawn. Go find your soul mate, Angel. He's there. I sent him there."

She traced his simple but elegant handwriting, then pulled the duster on. "Mom! Dawn! We have to go!"

"We?" she heard Dawn mumble. Her bedroom door opened. "Where's Spike?"

Buffy handed Dawn the poem. "He left."

Joyce entered the room. "Buffy, what is it?"

"The plane leaves in two hours. We have to go soon."

"I thought Spike--"

"He told me to go." She opened up her suitcase, throwing in clothing and other things. "And I'm going to do what he says."

*** 1 AM ***

"I think he got the message. He's taken a liking to Willow. He'll help her, I hope."

"How will he help?" Xander asked.

"Take them to his dimension or something. They'll be out of California by the time this hits." She looked at Xander. "The flight leaves in an hour. Should we tell them?"

"We'll tell them when they're in New York with us," Xander said, kissing Anya passionately. "And I know they'll be there."

*** 2 AM ***

"Buffy?" Xander said in surprise.

"Xander! Anya!" Buffy said, just as surprised as Xander had been.

Anya looked at Buffy. "Isn't that Spike's duster? Where is he?"

"Right here." Spike looked at all of them. "Go get on the plane, you two. Need a word with the Slayer."

Xander and Anya moved towards the gate. "Spike, come with us," Buffy said, but Spike shook his head.

"No, Buffy. I can't." He smiled ruefully. "The sunlight, remember?"

"Please," Buffy whispered. "I can't let you die."

"I'm already dead." He placed his hand on her face, wiping away a tear. "There's a spell in the pocket. Use it on Poof Boy. Live a long life with him. Name your first son William." He kissed her forehead. "Thank you for the dance. Now, board your plane and get the hell out of Sunnyhell."

Buffy nodded, picking up her carry-on and heading for the crammed gate, looking back to see Spike one last time.

He was gone.

And in a moment, so was she.

*** 3 AM ***

"Yeah. You know, I kinda had a problem with the math."

"Uh, which part?"

"The math. Can you help me out tonight, pleeeease, be my study buddy?"

"Well, what's in it for me?"

"A shiny nickel!"

"Okay. Do you have 'Theories in Trig'? You should check it out."

"Check it out?"

"From the library? Where the books live."

"Right, I'm there! See, I wanna change..."

*** 4 AM ***

"You're a snob!"

"I am no such thing."

"Oh, you are a big snob. You, you think that knowledge should be kept in these carefully guarded repositories where only a handful of white guys can get at it."

"Nonsense! I simply don't adhere to a, a knee-jerk assumption that because something is new, it's better."

"This isn't a fad, Rupert! We are creating a new society here."

"A society in which human interaction is all but obsolete? In which people can be completely manipulated by technology, well, well... Thank you, I'll pass."

"Well, ahem, I think you'll be very happy here with your musty, old books."

"These musty old books have a great deal more to say than in any of your...fabulous web pages."

"Hmm. This one doesn't have a whole lot more to say."

*** 5 AM ***

"Fe, fi, fo fum. I smell the blood of a nice ripe girl."

"Do we really need weapons for this?"

"I just like them. They make me feel all manly. The last Slayer I killed...she begged for her life. You don't strike me as the begging kind."

"You shouldn'ta come here."

"No. I've messed up your doilies and stuff. But I just got so bored. I'll tell you what. As a personal favor from me to you I'll make it quick. It won't hurt a bit."

"No, Spike. It's gonna hurt a lot."

*** 6 AM ***

"I'd rather be worm food than look at your pathetic face!"

"Then go! I'm not stopping ya!"

"I bet you wouldn't! I bet you'd let a girl go off to her doom all by herself!"

"Not just any girl. You're special."

"I can't believe that I'm stuck spending what will probably be my last few moments on Earth here WITH YOU!"

"I hope these are my last few moments! Three more seconds with you, and I'm gonna..."

"I'm gonna what? Coward!"

"Moron!"

"I hate you!"

"I HATE YOU! We so need to get outta here."

"Mm-hm!"

*** 7 AM ***

"It wasn't haunting me. It was showing me."

"Showing you?"

"What I am."

"Were."

"And ever shall be. I wanted to know why I was back. Now I do."

"You don't know. Some great evil takes credit for bringing you back and you buy it? You just give up?"

"I can't do it again, Buffy. I can't become a killer"

"Then fight it."

"It's too hard."

"Angel, please, you have to get inside."

*** 8 AM ***

"If someone could just wake me when it's time to go to college, that'd be great."

"Guys take a moment to deal with this: we survived."

"It was a hell of a battle!"

"Not the battle. High school. We're taking a moment and we're done."

"Well, school's done."

"It's sooo cool!"

"Why do demons even come here anymore?   I mean, don't they know?"

*** 9 AM ***

"Where is our relationship going?"

"Our what? Our who?"

"Relationship. What kind do we have. And what is it progressing toward?"

"I ... Uh ... We have a relationship?"

"Yeah. We went to the prom."

"Yeah, On our one and only date. Second date called on account of snake, remember? And the whole, you used to be a man-killing demon thing. Which to be fair, is as much my issue as it is yours."

"I can't stop thinking about you. Sometimes in my dreams, you're all naked."

"Really. You know if I'm in the checkout line at the Wal-Mart I've had the same one."

"So I can assume a standing Friday night date and a mutual recognition as Prom night as our dating anniversary."

"Anya. Slow down there. In fact, come to a screeching halt. See these things kind of have to develop on their own."

"Okay. How?"

"I don't know. I just -- happens."

*** 10 AM ***

"No candles? Well, I brought one. It's extra flamey. Tara, I have to tell you..."

"No, I-I understand. You have to be with the person you l-love."

"I am."

"You mean..."

"I mean. Okay?"

"Oh, yes."

"I feel horrible about everything I put you through. A-and I'm gonna make it up to you. Starting right now"

"Right now?"

*** 11 AM ***

"Please! Spike, you're a vampire."

"Angel was a vampire."

"Angel was good!"

"And I can be too. I've changed, Buffy."

"What, that chip in your head? That's not change. Tha-that's just...holding you back. You're like a serial killer in prison!"

"Women marry 'em all the time!"

"Uhh!"

"But I'm not...like that. Something's happening to me. I can't stop thinking about you."

"Uhh."

"And if that means turning my back on the whole evil thing-"

"You don't know what you mean! You don't know what feelings are!"

"I damn well do! I lie awake every night!"

"You sleep during the day!"

"Yeah, but- You are missing the point. This is real here. I love-"

"Don't!"

*** 12 PM ***

Giles woke up, surprised no one had bothered him at the grave site. He hadn't meant to fall asleep there, but perhaps it was for the best.

In five short hours, it wouldn't matter anyway.

He suspected the others had left. And instead of feeling angry or disappointed, he was glad for them. They were his children in a way, and he knew they deserved the chance to live full lives. He knew very well that those in Los Angeles had most likely left as well. A quick call to Angel prior to going to Jenny's grave had confirmed that there were tickets waiting for Wesley and Cordelia as well as their other associate, so now he could look forward to being together with Jenny again and not worry about anyone else he cared for.

*** 1 PM ***

Tara woke first. She touched Willow lightly. "Willow, where are we?"

"Anyanka asked for a favor. I gave it to her," D'Hoffryn answered. "You will be safe here. When the destruction is done, I will let you go to New York with the others."

Willow sat up. "I don't want to be a vengeance demon"

"I know," he replied. "I had no idea what you would want to take with you, so I put you both in a deep sleep and transported all your things. Anyanka does owe me or this, but someday, I should hope...you will decide to be a vengeance demon."

"Not likely," Willow said, but there was a smile on her face. "What does Anya owe you?"

"She'll name her first son after me. At least as his middle name." The demon shrugged. "Maybe before she dies I can persuade her to come back. She was the best we ever had."

"We'll make sure to tell her that," Tara said. "Now what?"

"Now, you wait."

*** 4 PM ***

The sun set slowly. And Spike didn't know why he'd headed for that particular graveyard. His mausoleum was on the other side of town. He'd wandered in the shadows as best he could that day after making sure Buffy boarded that plane. When she left, he felt a sense of pain that he had never felt before. And he just wanted to spend the last hour of his existence somewhere quiet.

And then he spotted him. "Giles?"

"Spike? Thought you were going with Dawn and Joyce."

Spike shook his head. "Sent Buffy with them. They need her more." He sat on the grave across from Giles, Jenny's grave in between them. "Xander and Anya left, too."

"What about Willow and Tara?"

"Haven't a clue. But knowing them, they're safe, too."

Giles nodded. "And you?"

"I figure will all of them gone, I could end 120 or so years peacefully and with no worries."

"I feel the same way."

It hit with no warning. There were screams, and there was terror, but for two people sitting by a gravestone, there was only peace. They had made the best of the last twenty-four hours of their existence.

They could have done no more than that.

Little Witch academia theories

Since now there's the possibility of an upcoming Lwa season I thought it was the perfect time to share this theory I've had for a long time, along with what I think the upcoming season could be about, possible episode ideas and… maybe future villains. And as I’m rewatching this show , I developed this theory that I had for a long time and even came up with ideas for the new season and what it could be about.Let's speculate!!

My main theory is about Croix Meridies and how she could possibly be related to the Hanbridge family.

This might be me over analysing things, but after seeing someone on Tumblr point out to how similar Andrew and Croix's eyes are, I believe they are connected in some way, but the creators didn't have time to develop on that. Especially in how in ep 24, there was put a strong emphasis on both of their eyes. In a scene that was supposed to parallel their reactions.Especially in a show like Lwa, where all the important characters have unique eye shapes that match their personality, having two important characters have the same eye shape and the same eye color raises some questions.

And this is not the only evidence I have to Croix being related to the Hanbridge family. In episode 19, Andrew even states that him and Diana are sort of related. And now on to the Paul Hanbridge part, it would be weird for a man who claims to dislike magic so much to be related to witches. So, what if his wife was a witch, because I think there's a reason we never saw Andrew's mother, and even though we don't see all of the characters parents and flashback moments in this show, Andrew's backstory seems to be pretty important and his father is always present throughout the story.

And for a father that is so strict it raises some questions that his mother is absent. So what if his mother is… dead, and what if her death had to do something with witchcraft, possibly being a reason why Paul hates witchcraft and forced his son to have the same opinions , thinking magic is a dead practice, and his hatred seems too personal to be political in the first place.

Another interesting factor is how Paul's hatred for witches seems to be different from Blackwell's hatred for witches. Whereas Paul's reasons are more justified since he hates the art, not the artist and thinks magic and witches are outdated and have no place in the modern age, Blackwell holds this opinion out of pure bigotry.

And as much as he hates witches, Paul still tries to keep a good relation with them, even if trying to "keep his enemies in debt"

as he says in ep 6 and he seems to have had a good relation with witches and Luna Nova for a long time. So something must have happened along the way for him to hate witches and that something may involve… his wife. What if witches or witchcraft were involved in his wife's death.

And this gets us to the important part of the theory, Croix and how she could possibly be Paul's daughter. What if Andrew isn't the only child Paul has, and this theory is plausible since Croix is around 28 years old,(she graduated in 2007, the anime takes place somewhere around 2017)

and Paul seems to be around his middle or late 50s, basically old enough to be her father. Another piece of evidence I have to that is how there not anything known about Croix's past before she joined Luna Nova, and despite her achievements and the fact that she was described as a "magic prodigy" she was also described as timid and reserved during high-school days, and back then she wasn't as confident and over the top villainous as she is today, her stance being much more distant and reserved, compared to Chariot, who was much more extroverted, even a bit of a show of, always surrounded by people.

She seemed as if she was hiding from something… or someone. What if Croix ran away from home in order to pursue witchcraft, since Paul could have been just as strict about witchcraft to her as he is to Andrew.

And it would make Andrew and Paul's connection to the Chariot and Croix storyline deeper and better, since even the magic shop owner was more relevant to the plot than those two at this point, and they acted as spectators in the second half of the story. Another interesting factor is how Paul constantly says that magic is dead ,obsolete and not necessarily in modern times, while Croix's main motivation is to prove that this exact thing is wrong and that magic is still useful by fusing it with science. And think about it for a second, the damage Croix's monsters did, how Croix fueling the protests for her experiments almost sparked into ww3, all of these things affect the government, which Paul is a part of. Her villain plan might have also been a revenge plan at her father, for being an awful parental figure.

On top of that, neither Andrew or Paul ever directly interacted with Croix or even saw her, and all of the important characters saw Croix and interacted with her, except those two. And at the end of episode 25, right after Croix was arrested and left the scene, Andrew appeared, almost as if the creators didn't want the two characters to interact just yet.

And knowing that Andrew and Diana are cousins, this would also make Croix be part of the Cavendish family, Meridies being possibly a fake name she took to distance herself from both of the well known powerful families. Andrew and Diana often parallel each other in the show, and Croix and her relationship to Chariot is also supposed to be a foil to Akko and her relationship with Diana. Therefore Andrew and Croix were supposed to be a foil to each other, Croix kind of showing Andrew what can happen if he quietly held a grudge against his father and not standing up to him at the right time for two long until he eventually could snap and do the same thing as Croix. Her story of being misunderstood,missguided, filled with jealousy could serve as a cautionary tail.

And Croix being Paul’s daughter would also make sense given her overambitious personality and her constant need of validation from others , including Profesor Woodward and desire to be on top.All of these factors could have easily shaped her into the sort of person that despite having good intentions doesn't have the best ways of achieving them , often putting others in danger to do so.Her being Paul’s daughter would also make sense of why she is jealous of Chariot , since Chariot not only has the shiny rod , but also support from others and appreciation .

A reason my theory could work is how Andrew was originally supposed to be Akko’s love interest , but the creator of the show , Yoh Yoshinari scrapped that sconcept at the request of staff and voice actor , he ended up making Akko a ���girl who’s not interested in boys” , so Andrew needed a new purpose in the story , and maybe him discovering Croix is his sister and potentially also becoming a wizard could be those purposes , since they already been kinda set up.

But this theory also raises some questions .How did Andrew’s mother die?Is Andrew a wizard?Did he know he had an older sister? These could be interesting themes to explore in the potential upcoming season .Other things that would be cool to see in this potential season what happened after the missile, Croix redemption arc, my theory becoming cannon and Croix and Chariot having to deal with the mistakes they made, how Akko feels about all of these, and more stuff with the nine new witches, are they considered like superheroes, are they famous now??

Now , onto what the upcoming season could potentially be about :

- As I stated in my theory , Croix and Andrew having to deal with the fact that they are siblings

-Croix redemption arc , maybe more development with her relationship with Ursula/Chariot

-Maybe another episode focused on nightfall , maybe Akko using a spell to make the Nightfall characters real for Lotte’s birthday.

-More flashbacks about Chariot and Croix’s years as Luna Nova students

-Lore behind the golden age of magic and the nine new witches

-New villains

-Return of the shiny rod , but in a unique way

-Maybe the stories could deal with Arthurian Mythos via Appleton Academy

-Male Wizards , maybe more episodes with Andrew and Frank

-More action scenes and serious moments

-The preparation for the spring festival mentioned at the end of episode 25

-More references to other pieces of media (maybe more kingsman , marvel and star wars references as well…)

I should go in depth with some of these aspects :

1.For example , even after episode 25 showed everyone cheering for the 7 witches,they were happy and cheering because otherwise the missile would have killed everyone.They now are happy that they are saved by the witches , and possibly entering a new age of magic , but what if somehow , it is discover that it was because of Croix’s magic that the missile attack almost happened in the first place.How would they react knowing a single witch was capable of such a feast.Especially how would the politicians react.Because at the end of episode 25,Paul was willing to learn more about Andrew’s opinions about witchcraft and even be open to it .But maybe after he finds out the truth about the missile attack,his hatred for witchcraft is even more reinforced , maybe ruining all the progress Andrew has been trying to make in teaching his father about magic ,for him to hate it even more now.Maybe it would even push him to become a villain in the show.

2.Another idea for a villain in the upcoming season I theorize about is Daryl , Diana’s aunt , even though she was kinda redeemed by the end of the season , she is a strange figure , possibly using dark magic , maybe after Diana became head of the Cavendish family , Daryl does not agree with some of Diana’s ways of improving the Cavendish family title and returns to villany , maybe serving as a possible introduction to dark magic (Like she literally can go through walls and has a snake as a pet AND HER EYES GLOW RED)

3.After rewatching episode 17 (Amanda O’Neill and the holy grail) I came up with this silly idea for a plotline , what if that episode wasn't just about an epic fight scene and showing us Croix’s first experiment test , but set up something even more interesting.Even if the title of the episode is a reference to “Monty Python and the Holy Grail” , in the Arturian legend of the holy grail it is Galahad the knight who is chosen to find the Holy Grail. Galahad, in both the Lancelot-Grail cycle and in Malory's retelling, is exalted above all the other knights: he is the one worthy enough to have the Holy Grail revealed to him and to be taken into Heaven , so Galahad is the one to have found the holy grail.And for a first test , Croix’s monster worked quite well , and we also know in Lwa , spirits and ghosts exist and they tend to attach themselves to objects.And if Croix’s pixels were in the grail before Louis broke it , why didn't they start working yet.My theory is that Galahad’s ghost was attached to the Holy Grail and the cubes only powered the ghost up , making it able to separate form the grail ,but decided to stay still until Louis broke the grail , pissing the ghost of Galahad off and thus punishing Louis by possessing a nearby knight armor along with Blackwell himself, combining both into a violent berserker.After Amanda destroyed the armor she could’ve weakened the ghost of Galahad , thus everything instantly went back to normal , but what if the ghost started regaining strength , adjusting to life not being attached to the grail , but planning to stroke again , to punish Louis and the other students of Appleton for ruining the reputation of the school with their hatred for witches .Appleton academy could possibly have lore connected to Arthurian legend to it , with how much they hold the importance of tradition , duels , and gentleman like behaviour , almost knight-like.Maybe the next season could have a plotline that involves stopping the Ghost of Galahad.

4.Last but not least , even after the shiny rod vanished in episode 25 , i think there is a way for it to return without ruining the impact it had in the show. There are seven words of arcturus , and seven of the Luna Nova students are part of the nine new witches , right ?So since the rod became a constellation at the end of the show , seven of those stars could be the seven words , so what if each of the seven words materializes as weapon of their own on earth and each of the seven witches(Akko ,Diana, Lotte,Sucy, Amanda , Constanze , Jasminka) get one of the seven words that became weapons .Because even if the rod disappeared , it came to Akko’s help in a different way , since even if the quest to bringing a new age of magic is far from complete.

Analysing Episode 6 Sylvie - her actions, her choice and a whole bunch of theories (Spoilers!)

After watching the Loki finale, I have been scrolling through Tumblr for quite a long time. I already knew that people's opinions were gonna be incredibly different but I definitely did not expect this much negative backlash. Especially when it comes to two specific topics - the Sylvie and Loki kiss and Sylvie's betrayal (/choice/actions). I'm gonna be talking about the latter, for it is another time I'll talk a lot about Sylki's relationship. (Beware that this post is also really long though)

First of all, everyone has different opinions and I respect that. I absolutely adore movies, books, TV-shows and videogames because despite what's happening within the story, each viewer has the opportunity to see something else in what they are shown (besides the obvious canon). What I mean is that everyone interprets certain scenes differently and gains the opportunity to make up theories. Therefore I want to clarify that I do, by no means, want to force my views upon others. It's nice to see people talk about the Loki Series (as long as it doesn't get too negative and hateful, iykwim) because every viewer can share their specific experiences with it :)

I'm gonna analyse Sylvie's character a bit ( because, well, I'm bored and I kinda wanna protect my beloved character that I've only had for a few weeks >:^0 AND the only thing I could think about the past day was this episode) and try to explain her actions in the finale (keep in mind: not justifying them, but explaining them).

I'm terribly bad at concentrating on one single topic point so I kinda made a 'list' with questions and whatnot that I wanted to dive deeper into. Your thoughts are also more than welcome!

I already want to apologise for grammatical mistakes, for I am not a native english speaker.

Sylvie's reason for being taken away by the TVA is still kinda unknown

You know, I've heard quite a few theories about Sylvie's nexus event by now. Some people say that she got taken away because she was playing with her toys in a way that indicates her having a good heart (playing as a Valkyrie and wanting to save someone, another hint may also be the reaction she showed towards someone else who got kidnapped by the TVA, yelling at the soldiers to "help them out"). Another theory is that she already knew she was adopted, unlike Loki who found out way later than her. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but we never got to hear the actual reason why Sylvie got kidnapped. Even Renslayer didn't say a word about it.

Now I'm gonna come up with yet another theory. What if Sylvie didn't really have a nexus event in the first place how we know it? In the final episode, Kang has said that he has planned out everything beforehand so both Loki and Sylvie would end up right in front of him. Did Kang's plan also possibly involve him getting killed by Sylvie? Hear me out: We don't actually know if the Kang we saw in episode 6 is the actual 'nice' Kang and not one of his evil variants. He has already talked about 'reincarnation', so who says that after ending the first universial war, Kang didn't reincarnate into someone with an unpure heart (aka, one of his evil variants)? That'd mean that the real Kang would have been killed and the Kang we've seen in the finale is actually an evil version that simply lied to both Loki and Sylvie. Besides that, we also don't know if Kang actually had that 'point' where he didn't know what would happen next. The show revolves a whole lot around trust, not only regarding the characters, but also the viewers. Who's to say that Kang said the truth? Maybe he planned it all out: He created the TVA, let Sylvie get kidnapped and therefore give her a reason to hunt after Kang, who in return could reincarnate if he got killed OR get killed and therefore give his other variants a possibility to conquer the universes yet again. Don't you think that it was kinda suspicious that Sylvie escaped so easily out of Renslayer's hands? The one person who's probably closest to Kang? (Even though, yes, she doesn't know who he is but Renslayer seems to play a very important role in his plan). What if the Kang we saw was the nice Kang though? Would he plan everything up to a point where another universial war would break out because he might know that there is indeed something/someone out there who could end it and therefore, possibly end Kang as a whole or create a new kind of system revolving around the universe? And therefore, get rid of the possibility of another universial war happening? Who knows. I am definitely overthinking and reaching at this point. One more thing that stood out to me while thinking about the episode again today (which kinda weighs more into my theory of Sylvie being a keypoint (or rather a puppet) in this plan): Kang has talked about his Tempad and that he knew that he would need it to have enough energy. But for what? Yes, his initial idea was to give it to Loki and Sylvie to rule over the TVA, but what if it was supposed to be used for another reason? Sylvie used it to transport Loki back to the TVA (though I kinda think he was accidentally transported to another timeline, hence the reactions of both Mobius and Hunter B-15) and therefore get rid of the only thing that could prevent Sylvie from killing Kang. The Tempad was used to secure Sylvie's path and therefore eradicated Kang's only option of safety. You can see the Tempad loosing it's glow after Kang was killed, possibly due to Kang himself being the origin of it's energy. But maybe, it only had enough energy for one specific action: getting rid of Kang's protection. I do think that Sylvie is now stuck at this place and somehow has to find a way back to Loki's reality. The Tempad clearly doesn't work anymore (at least in my opinion) and there was quite a long shot showing the Tempad up close, which is kinda suspicious tbh. Also, something regarding Sylvie's unanswered nexus event feels kinda odd to me, too.

My theory in conclusion: Sylvie (and Loki) are unconciously helping Kang with his plan (a big, big, BIG plan). They're his puppets, especially Sylvie, because she's the one who created the Multiverse to begin with. Think about Loki, who was said to be manipulated by Thanos in Avengers? It's basically the same train of thoughts.

Sylvie does not take Kang's offer into consideration

To be honest, this was something to be absolutely expected of her. Sylvie was kidnapped as a child, taken away from her home and family, and had to grow up in countless apocalypses where she could never form a real bond with anybody because she knew that those people were all going to die anyway. (Please don't judge me if I got that wrong, maybe I understood the next thing wrong? Idk, if so, I'm very sorry) She revealed that she was kidnapped way before Loki was even born (something I have to think about, too, because, if Loki is the actual Loki the other variants are based off, why did he exist after Sylvie? Wouldn't that make him a variant of Sylvie instead? Idk timelines and parallel universes are hard to understand for me :') I'm kinda stoopid ), therefore she must've had spent several decades of her life running away. She had no life at all. Her only goal was to bring down the TVA and whoever is behind it, driven by pure rage, seeking out revenge for stealing her life and basically forbidding her existence. And now that she has found said person, the only thing that'd be right for her character would be to go for the kill. As immoral as it may sound, it is the only thing that makes sense. And I am actually very happy that Sylvie's goals didn't change besides the fact that she did indeed soften up a little and has gotten someone really close to her. In contrary, it makes sense for Loki to do the exact opposite. His goals have changed. He does not act the way he did in Thor or Avengers anymore. He has found another goal for himself: to make Sylvie feel alright. He has had immense character growth and didn't take a chance to change his goals back in the Thor movies or in Avengers, (....maybe later in Thor: Ragnarok, kinda). This is exactly what I think might happen to Sylvie, too. She is at the beginning of her character arc. She doesn't take the chance to change her goal, but goes for her original goal instead. Said goal does not really have positive consequences (though, maybe it might have some? We're about to find out), which results in a so called 'negative character development', which Loki has already gone through. I think that Sylvie is gonna grow as a character in season 2 and get a positive character development in addition, just like Loki did. I highly doubt that she's gonna become the antagonist, it does not make sense at this point.

Why does she not take Kang's offer (besides her very obvious intention ofc)? That leads straight (or not so straight, pun intended) to the next thing I wanna talk about. Sylvie's distrust in everything and everyone. Besides not wanting to let other people go through what she has been gone through and wanting to let people have a free will, she also does not trust Kang with his offer of 'ruling' the timeline. And it might be because she also does not trust the one she'd be ruling with: Loki.

Why does Sylvie not trust Loki?

I don't even have a specific answer to that, except that Sylvie has an incredibly thick wall built up around her. Loki has always been portrayed as the one you should not trust because he's known for backstabbing people. Loki could have thought the same about Sylvie, but he didn't. Due to his character arc, he himself has learned to trust other people and tries to redeem himself with making himself a person others can trust (He may project that onto Sylvie, meaning that he puts his trust into a Loki variant and therefore in himself, too). You can connect that fact with both Sylvie and Mobius. They're both people who are incredibly important to Loki. He wants them to trust him. He openly told Sylvie about his mistakes and tells her that he's not that person anymore. Sylvie on the other hand does not trust that easily and is - in my opinion - a very important key regarding Loki's character development. It is incredibly hard for Sylvie to trust others (probably due to her trauma) and it therefore creates a very difficult situation for Loki, where he has to 'prove' himself as trustworthy. It's basically about 'trusting yourself' if you put it that way. It's something Loki has to learn about himself: not betraying the trust of others. Sylvie might have to learn something like this, too: learning to trust someone else. It's kinda like a two sided coin - one side is about putting trust in others, whereas the other is about gaining trust from others (and what you do with it). (Good) Relationships in general are always based off trust and honesty. So in order for them to be able to have healthy relationships with others and themselves, they have to learn about trust within themselves (I hope you understand my point, I got carried away, sorry). Loki started to trust Sylvie very easily (maybe because of love? Maybe because of something else? There are still a lot of unanswered questions) whereas Sylvie doesn't trust Loki very easily. Sylvie's character arc might (hopefully) carry on with this topic in the next season.

Was that kiss initiated due to emotional or practical reasons?

Kinda both, somehow. I do think that Sylvie used the kiss to her advantage but you can also clearly see how moved she is while hearing Loki's words. Facial expressions are insanely important when it comes to acting and both Tom and Sophia delivered perfectly. You might've already heard of the quote "The eyes tell more than words could ever say". Look at Sylvie's face when Loki tells her that he wants her to be okay. She is teary eyed, sighs even. She is indeed touched by his words and I strongly think that Sylvie also has non-platonic feelings for Loki, despite barely showing anything.

Both Sylvie and Loki are said to be people who can not trust others. They both have a vulnerable side though. Loki clearly showed that several times when with Sylvie (singing to her, the blanket scene, the comfort scene in the room of the timekeepers, the confession of wanting her to be okay) and is also shown incredibly vulnerable at the end of episode 6: there are several shots showing him, crying. Sure, we have already seen Loki cry a few times beforehand but this time, it's different. He cries because the one person he is the most vulnerable with doesn't trust him, and that does hurt like hell. By the way, if you look at the close-up shot of Sylvie after she yeeted Loki back into the TVA, you can see pain in her eyes, too. But that pain quickly shifts into rage and determination. Something that I have to admit was incredibly well executed by Sophia and the people who directed this shot. Sylvie does show her vulnerable side for a brief moment before putting up her walls again and reaching for her goal.

In conclusion: I think Sylvie initiated the kiss as an emotional response to Loki's words but also used it to distract him to be able to kick him back into the TVA at the same time. Keep in mind that it was because he was in her way of fullfilling her goal. She didn't want to kill or hurt him, so she sent him away instead. So, yes, I think the kiss had both emotional and practical intentions.

Did Sylvie betray Loki?

Even though it really felt like she betrayed him, she didn't. Let me tell you why:

Loki knew exactly what Sylvie was gonna do after reaching the person behind the TVA. Loki supported her all the way up until Kang suggested a deal to them, that's where Loki's and Sylvie's paths divided. Loki is a very smart character, he outsmarts a lot of Marvel characters and therefore I think it's very in character for him to consider one part of the deal and outweigh the pros and cons. Not because he wants the throne, no, but because he wants Sylvie to be okay. A universial war could lead to countless casualties - possibly those people close around him, so of course he would want to keep her safe through that decision. Making them both rulers over the TVA and the sacred timeline would probably guarantee a strong protection from several threats. Also, maybe he thought about the possibility of Sylvie regretting her decision (which she clearly did in the end) and wanted to protect her from even more emotional pain. But as we know, Sylvie's intention has always been laid out in front of her and it didn't change. Loki knew what choice she was going to make and merely tried to change her way - without being successfull.

I don't really know what to think about this scene though. To me, it doesn't meet the requirements of a 'betrayal' but at the same time it does feel like one. It's very difficult to explain :'D

Also, I've seen some people asking themselves how or if Loki will ever be able to forgive Sylvie for making her decision. Let me assure you one thing: he will forgive her. He has said it himself: "I know what you're feeling, I know what you're going through". He has been at Sylvie's point, too. Not only once, but several times already. He seems to have learned from his mistakes, Sylvie has yet to do so. ("I betrayed everyone I've ever loved" is a line to keep in mind now, too. Maybe it could even be projected onto Sylvie this time, because Loki is indeed very dear to her) If there's someone out there who can empathise with Sylvie the most, it is Loki.

Why would Sylvie straight up cause another Universial War?

As I already said. Sylvie's arc is a negative character arc. It does not end well and causes a lot of chaos. Think about Peter Quill in Infinity War and his rage moment on Titan. They could have had the infinity gauntlet way before but Peter got emotional (understandable) and therefore destroyed the chance of an early good ending. The same happened with Sylvie. Her decision was mostly emotional, but also practical on the other hand (giving people free will and freedom). She will face the consequences and I'm pretty sure she's gonna redeem herself and tries to help fix the big mess she has caused.

Sylvie's breakdown

Another scene that was absolutely brilliant was the scene after Sylvie has killed Kang. She backs off slowly and then slumps to the ground, breathing heavily (now that I think about it, I think she even started to cry). She has waited for this moment her whole life, but now that it's done, it kinda feels like she didn't exactly get what she needed. Hunter B-15 has already mentioned it before that Sylvie needs to hunt the person behind the TVA down, unlike Renslayer, who only wants to find out who it really is. Although Sylvie might have recognized that this wasn't everything she needed at this point. We already got to know that she didn't have a clue what to do after she's done with the TVA. She didn't have a goal beyond that. And now that she has reached the point where she is clueless, she might have recognized what she really needed beyond finishing her goal: friends, a life, literally anything that doesn't make her feel alone. And she literally just kicked that one thing away from her. Loki, the one person who has been closest to her and gave her the feeling of not being alone anymore, the feeling of having a friend (or someone more than a friend), has been pushed away by herself. I think that in this exact moment where she sinks to the ground she recognizes that not trusting Loki was a mistake this time and that revenge isn't enough to satisfy her forever.

But maybe that one thing that will satisfy her for a long time is something she's returning back to in season 2. I am so excited to see her again and find out more about Sylvie's character!

-the framing and lighting this episode, and all the angles...they went all OUT and it looks really really good. this is my nightmare scenario, tho. like, FUCK zombies and dead city zones and hivemind shit. and using the humans as 'nutrients for the children' i am going to THROW UP.

-MALEFICENT VIBES WITH THE HORNS AND GREEN EYES! this costume kicks so much ass. sam is now mark hamills daughter, I guess.

The Destiel Folder: Season 7

[Season 4; Season 5; Season 6]

This season is mostly Dean being a depressed bi who can't cope with his crush's death.

This is, in my opinion, the season where Dean actually starts realizing he might for real think of Cas as something more.

Episode 1:

Cas is basically gone, both Bobby and Sam (almost) are ready to compel to whatever he says, but Dean still tries to get him to come back. "You can turn this around. Please!" (3:13) Denial

Dean has no idea how to deal with God!Castiel, but desperate to find him, and getting emotional "I don't even know what book to hit for this." "Then figure it out!" (5:47) Anger

As we have said many times already, angels don't have a sex, Castiel is not a man, and as he states, he is "utterly indifferent to sexual orientation" (8:03), and so is Chuck, God himself, who has admitted having had both girlfriends and boyfriends.

Dean turns off the news the moment he hears a woman describe Cas as "young and sexy", while doing that jaw clentch thing of his (10:14) ... huh... [and this doesn't really matter, but after this we immediately see Dean in a purple flannel. PURPLE! Go Bi!Dean]

"He's not a guy, he's a God [...] Cas is never coming back. He's lied to us, he's used us, he's cracked your gourd like it was nothing. No more talk. We've spent enough on him." (11:09) Dean trying to jump to the 5th stage of grief. Yeah, no baby that's not how it works

Dean tries so hard to convince himself that Cas's gone so he can kill him, but can't really. "Just kill him now!" and struggles hard to hold Castiel's glare. And as soon as Death offers a second option to killing him, Dean takes it. Bargening

"Dean, look, I know you think Cas is gone." "That's because he is." (31:22) Again with trying to jump to acceptance. Not doing great, Dean. In fact, "Yeah, you know how I'm gonna deal? I'm gonna stuff my pie hole, I'm gonna drink, and I'm gonna watch some asian cartoon porn. And act like the world's about to explode, because it is." (32:17) There it is. Depression.

[Remember this: Dean has no shame in watching porn in front of his brother. Wait a few seasons and see]

Just moments earlier, Dean was all "That's not Cas, Cas is dead" and shit, and now he goes "What? You need something else?" worried-husband-mode the moment Cas asks for help (34:50). Also#MARRIED (35:16)

Bobby: "Where's Sam? It's go time." Dean: *looks back at Cas worried* (37:12)

MUST HELP HUSBAND (38:06) look at Dean's eyes!!! They're like 'It's okay, it's okay. You've got this.' "I'm sorry, Dean." Cas chose these words to be his last, thinking he was going to die. LOOK AT DEAN (38:21) ICWAW this would MEAN SOMETHING ELSE

"CAS! [...] Is he breathing? ... Maybe angels don't need to breathe." says the one who was going around saying Cas was gone for good. "He's gone, Dean." "... damn it... *tears up* Cas, you child... Why didn't you listen to me." #MARRIED (39:15) Then he goes "CAS?!" as soon as he starts breathing again. ICWAW, we would SCREAM "LOVE" in this scene

"Imma find some way to redeem myself to you *looks at Dean straight in the eyes*" "*looks at Cas up and down*... Alright, well, one thing at the time, come on. Let's get you out of here." "I mean it, Dean." *eye love-making* "... Okay." (40:30) ICWAW, oooohhh, the meanings this scene would have...

Dean's face when the Leviathans tell him Cas is dead. Again. (41:18)

Episode 2:

Dean looking at the Leviathans occupying Cas' body. The HATE (1:44)

"... okay... so he's gone. *shakes while tearing up* [...] Dumb son of a bitch..." (5:14) Here we go again... I'm fine, shut up

Dean picks up, washes, folds and keeps Cas' coat (5:23) SWEET

Episode 5:

Dean progressively drinks more as his nightmares get worse and he misses Cas more and more. 3 times we see him drink, only in the first 12 minutes.

Sam can tell Dean feels like shit, and bet one of those reasons is Cas "Like it or not, the stuff you don't talk about, it doesn't just go away. It builds up." (39:33) Yeah, and not only problems or grief... even love

Episode 7:

Not a destiel moment, but Dean totally got hit on by the waiter. LOL (7:30)

And again. What is it with men in this town and Dean. "We're looking for a necklace." "Romantic. *looks at Dean*" (12:17). Is it an energy reading thing or something? Can they feel the bi energy?

"The Campbell brothers. [...] They weren't actually brothers. That was a cover for their, uhm... alternative life style." (22:40) Huh... I guess calling your lover "brother" runs in the family

"Ever since Cas... I'm having a hard time trusting anybody." (40:44) ouch

Episode 9:

Dean is drunk/high on Leviathan juice, and the first thing he thinks and blabbers about, is Cas (19:48) "I don't even care anymore." Oooohh ICWAW... the possibilities for this scene

Episode 12:

Dean totally checked out that man in uniform. FIGHT ME (16:27)

Episode 13:

"You're head's not in it, man. When Cas died, you were wobbly, but now-" "Now what!!" (39:35) as soon as Sam mentions Cas' death, Dean gets snappy

Episode 17:

Dean keeps getting snappy whenever Sam mentions Cas

"OH my God the love of my life is alive!" (13:02-13:06)

Dean's face when Daphne touches Cas (13:25), and when he calls her his wife (13:41)

AND HIS FUCKING FACE TRYING NOT TO TEAR UP BECAUSE CAS DOESN'T REMEMBER ANYTHING ABOUT HIM (14:16)

You mean to tell me that ICWAW this wouldn't be seen as a mini desperation moment from a man seeing his lover in this situation? Yeah, I don't think so

"What if you were some sort of... I don't know, bad guy." "I... I don't feel like a bad person." Dean's face is like "Damn right you aren't" (16:50)

"He betrayed you, this dude. He was your friend?" Dean looking at him... can't even answer the question (19:59)

Dean says Cas' betrayal is something he cant get over like everything else. And that he doesn't know why. "It doesn't matter why." "Of course it matters!" (20:25)

Dean gets visibly uneasy about Meg being so close to Cas (25:34) jealous boyfriend is jealous

Dean doesn't want Cas to remember, afraid he'll leave again (32:18)

"I've known you for years!" (32:34) poor baby. Also "You're an angel." "Uhm, I'm sorry? Is that a flirtation?" DEAN'S FACE (32:42)

Dean doesn't want Cas to be hurt by his own memories and past actions (33:00)

"You used to fight together. Bestest friends, actually." Yeah, look at that reaction. Let's see how he reacts to being called his boyfriend later on (33:09)

#MARRIED!!! I'll just leave this. No comment (33:41)

As Cas regains his memories, only 2 of the ones we see are not of Dean. And the only one we hear is the "I'm sorry, Dean." . That is what matters to Cas (and this looks like a slash video. Kudos to the editors) "I remember you... I remember everything." Yeah, no-homo save (34:35)

Not even an hour earlier, Dean was ranting about Cas betraying him, how he couldn't forget and forgive him, and now he is saying Cas did "the best you could at the time", but Cas actually feels guilt and doesn't want Dean to defend him, but Dean does anyway (36:53)

"We didn't part as friends, Dean." "*looks at Cas up and down*... So what?" "I deserved to die." the look on Dean's face (37:18)

Dean gives Cas his trench coat back. The trench coat he kept, folded and all the the truck, for weeks. And that's not even Baby. So he moved the coat, to always have it with him (37:26). I'm not crying, shut up

Dean is devastated about Cas' mental state, that he did that to himself to save Sam. Look at his eyes in this scene (16:08). Also, Dean still resents Cas for the whole 'New God' crap, but it feels like the real reason is the fact that he left (19:18)

"Cas! Don't make me pull this car over!" "Are you angry? Why are you angry? *puppy eyes*" "... No I-I'm..." #MARRIED (27:28)

Cas says he won't fight anymore, but as soon as Dean's in trouble, he FLIPS

"The angels... they don't care... I think maybe they don't have the equipment to care." (31:49) Touchy much, Dean?, are you trying to convince yourself about that? It feels like he's making excuses to not let himself feel anything for Cas. "It seems like when they try, it just... breaks them apart." ... OK, fuck everything, ICWAW this would totally be seen as romantic angsty reference to Cas

Cas is so lost in his guilt for what he has caused. He looks like a baby, and it gets worse when it comes to Dean

"Why should we give you anything? After everything you have taken from us? The very touch of you curropts. When Castiel first laid a hand on you in Hell, he was lost!" (36:50) okay damn, ICWAW all of this would seem as if they were talking about a love relationship between the two and you can't tell me otherwise

"What are you gonna do, Cas?" Dean's eyes are begging him to stay. ICWAW, we would point that out without a shadow of a doubt (39:40)

Episode 23:

"Dude... on my car. He showed up naked... covered in bees!" ... come on, ICWAW this would be a HUGE deal (5:10)

"Go ask him. He was your boyfriend first." (8:51) LISTEN HERE. I study psychology, and one of the first things they teach you is that jokes are based on the truth. HOW MANY OF THESE JOKES WERE MADE?! HUH??!! (plus all the "Dick" jokes Sam made) Also Dean's reaction with the jaw clentch... just saying

Cas keeps stating he doesn't want to fight, but again, Dean's in trouble? FIGHT MODE

Cas is afraid he will do something to cause Dean more trouble. Let's remember he chose what he believed were his last words to be "I'm sorry, Dean.", but as we know, Dean deals with feelings by showing anger... Cas gets upset and copes by playing twister... pathetic. "I can't help. [...] I destroyed everything and I will destroy everything again!" for a moment, Cas is lucid, and expresses his fear, but as soon as Dean gets angry with him, Cas gows back to hide in his world of crazy (26:47)

"I'm not good luck, Dean." "... You know what? [...] I'd rather have you. Cursed or not." Look at Cas' soft little smile as it grows. ICWAW, this would be read as another confession (32:38)

SEE??! The MOMENT Dick threatens Dean, Cas goes full Angel of the Lord on his ass. MUST PROTECT HUSBAND (36:52) and the utter shock on Dean's face is priceless

since I feel like no one knows about the manga series Re/member, i wanted to talk to yall about it.

it is an adaptation of the novel of the same name by Welsard, which I haven't read but it seems good, judging by the adaptation drawn by Katsutoshi Murase.

The series has been finished and published in Japan in 17 tomes that are still being translated in other countries (mine at least)

for the genre: it's horror, and gore, lots of blood, etc and the protagonists die more than once, so if you are sensible, be careful; thriller, tragedy, school-life, supernatural.

great graphisms. 👌🏼but like, very good.

the storyline is actually very linear and simple, i'd say, but in the 13 tomes i've already read, it never gets tiring because there's also a lot of surprises and a final goal that is "to get out of the shit they're in" while uncovering the mysteries around the curse that is in action here.

The synopsis: During an ordinary day, six (6) students of the high-school of Oma (Japan), fall under the curse of the Red-Blood (actually I don't know her name in english so this is a word for word translation): condemned to spend the same day searching for the eight bodyparts of their friend Haruka hidden in all of their school buildings, they will be forced to participate in a gruesome body hunt that is Red-Blood's curse. Their only hope is to find the whole body or else they'll be teleported every night at 00:00 in front of the high-school, and until all the body parts are put together, they will die at the hands of the Red-blood during the the hunt and will wake up the next day, which will be the same date as "yesterday". In other words, they can live this nightmare during years as long as they don't finish the hunt.

it is very difficult to explain in so little lines and this synopsis doesn't explain a lot but here are some basic rules that are given to us in the beginning of their first night and already known by the protagonists since it's a "legend":

The Red-Blood haunts the high-school's buildings afterschool.

The Red-Blood can appear in front of any isolated student.

The one who saw the Red-Blood must not look back as long as they have not crossed the school's portal. Whoever looks back before is dismembered and the eight parts of their body are hidden in the high-school's buildings.

The Red-Blood's victim reappears the next day and asks other students to search for their body.

You can not refuse a party of body hunt.

The Red-Blood can appear whenever during a body hunt.

The party goes on until the whole body is found.

You never really die in a game of body hunt.

unpredictable things will happen, that i cant talk about for spoilers risks but there is a new body hunt after the seventh (7) tome, the main protagonist changes and we don't see anymore two (2) others, but after this moment, we will learn more about the body hunt's origins and the Red-Blood's curse and other things really, we will also learn about new rules, but worry not, they don't appear out of nowhere and are still valid in the first hunt, just the conditions wheren't met. The six (6) students will also have Mr. Yashiro's help, a professor that participated in a previous hunt, to understand what is happening to them. he's a little unsettling but he's good dude.

also, while doing research, I just learned that an anime adaptation has started in may 02 2017 and that the episodes are being released. For now I think there are 5 of them in vostfr, i unfortunately dont know about english sub.

21. I love how you can project almost anything onto Darth Vader because you cannot see his face. True genius.

23. Palpatine: "By now you must know your father can never be turned..."

Vader *looks over to Luke*

Palpatine: "... from the Dark Side."

Luke *looking over to Vader*

Palpatine: "So will it be with you."

Vader *slowly turns back to face Palpatine*

Luke: "You're wrong. Soon I'll be dead. And you with me."

It is called 💁‍♀️ acting.

24. Luke: "Your overconfidence is your weakness."

Palpatine: "Your faith in your friends is yours."

25. Chewbacca *Tarzan shout as he is swinging through the air* Art.

This movie is still amazing.
