It's possible. But if the Horrorterrors do have a way to trick the Alpha Timeline like that, then they've really been holding out on us by not mentioning it to the Players. Such a revelation would completely change the game - we might even be able to fake the Earth's death.

Absolutely! I've got two separate answers for you, depending on what your goal is here.

If your main goal is just to analyse Homestuck, then you’re probably best off picking a language whose syntax is easy to understand, such as Python. You'll pick up on the basic logic pretty quickly, and the ~ATH snippets will start to make a lot more sense.

If you’re actually interested in programming for its own sake, then I recommend you start with my own first language, C. It’s a lot harder for a newbie to get to grips with, but doing so will give you a much more solid theoretical foundation then ostensibly ‘easier’ languages.

W3schools is a decent starting resource for both languages - but if you need more specific guidance, let me know, and I'd be happy to help!

That certainly makes sense if we just look at John - but I have trouble reconciling this interpretation with our other Heir. Equius certainly has some advantages, but they aren't exactly unique to him, as you'd expect them to be if his Heir class was responsible for them.

Yes, he's a highblood, but he's outranked by three non-Heirs - and his strength doesn't seem to be unique either, as Feferi seems capable of similar feats. Perhaps Equius will trip and fall into more unique privilege, but it hasn't happened yet.

Hello everyone! I am here to finally tell you a bit about my Ice Prince Zane AU lolol

Basically, the concept is that shortly after the serpentine wars, the elemental master of ice mysteriously dissapeared (AKA somehow ended up in the Never-Realm) and became the ruler and protector of the Never-Realm.

Im not sure whether Dr.Julien was born in the Never-Realm, he somehow got trapped there too, or he can somehow travel between realms(i really need to develop this sheesh) but he was there okay-

Anyway, Dr. Julien built Zane and they bonded like in canon, except there was a woman who was friends with Dr. Julien. Her name was Eleanor, she was an owl formling who would take care of and even learn how to repair Zane when his father couldn't. Her and the young nindroid quickly became friends in the process.

Moving on, the same fake old age death scene happened where Dr. Julien erased Zanes memories. This is where we get to the prince thing lol

Ignoring the criminally underdeveloped Dr. Julien and Ice King lore, the Elemental master of ice had passed away after crowning a new king(and passing his power down onto him), who eventually took Zane in and made him a prince, passing his powers onto the nindroid in the process.

Zanes original purpouse, 'protect those who cannot protect themselves' was switched out with 'become the perfect future ruler'. Eleanor was not happy to learn about what had happened, attempting to get Zane back to no avail. You are enjoying a nice breakfast with your family. You, your mother your sisters and your father. 'My darling girls,' your father finally speaks. 'It would appear that dark times are soon ahead of us. King Viserys the Peaceful has died a few days ago, and now it's time for a new monarch.' You sip your tea, letting your thoughts wonder everywhere else but Westeros and its damned politicing.

'Yes, a first in history. A Queen. She will do amazing.' Cassandra says with a smile when she picks out the best apple out of the basket to devour. You groan as you are presented the left overs.

A loud roar can be heard outside and for a moment the whole castle shakes at its core. Your mother looks at the courtyard. 'What in the seven hells was that?' Your father roars, getting up from his seat at the table. He storms off and leaves you and your sisters be.

Your mother gives each and every one of you a kiss and hurries off after him. Ellyn plays with her long hair. 'I have a bad feeling about this.' You roll your eyes. Its always something with her.

You are not sure what the silver haired one eyed prince wants but that it's a plot to overthrow his elder half sister is very clear to you. Your sis cracks a joke like she always does when she is upset. 'Why, I was planning on riding today.' Your eldest sister whines like a little girl. You hide your smirk.

Floris come closer. She is the smallest of you all and next to Aemond that is even more clear. 'Forgive me, I was just noticing your dragon, my prince. Does she maybe like a snack?'

His good eye blinks. 'That is very kind to offer, but I'm afraid Vhagar does not like regular snacks. She likes to eat cow. Whole cows. I can't ask that.' a whole cow? For that beast?

'Of course you can. Bring the prince's dragon a cow. She must be starving after flying here.' Floris orders some servants around who run off fetching her a cow.

You roll your eyes. She already has Eyden. When will it be enough? 'I do have one request. I can't engage myself with someone I dont know. I am responsible for many things as prince...'

'Speak plainly.' You have a bad feeling.

Aemonds good eye hungry looks at the four of you. 'I'd like to try them out a bit. I will need to judge whoever will make the best wife but how can I do that when I haven't seen them do the most important job: granting me heirs.' Wife? That is news. You and your sisters eye each other uneasily.

'You want to lay with all my daughters?' Your father roars out. He will do much for a crown but not this.

Ellyn growls at aemond. 'Did that dragon perhaps hit you?'

He smiles creepily and Ellyn backs off crying. 'Careful or I'll fuck you first.' He grins darkly.

'Not to lay, perse. I want to at least taste them. Properly. A kiss will be more suited, I suppose. It will save us all some awkwardness at the wedding.' He came here for a wife.

'Unless you like me to roast your pretty daughters or feed them to my dragon. That can be arranged as well.' Aemond speaks very coldly and you realise it was a mistake to assume you would be allies. He is not looking for wives or allies. He is looking at conquests like his ancestors did.

i’m about to have a hater moment

basically i wanna write another umbrella academy fanfic. so obviously this got me thinking about the umbrella academy. and then this got me thinking about how they absolutely destroyed our girl allison. like they really said let’s have one of the very few poc characters we have on the show assault another character. and then they really had diego tell allison “i don’t think the rest of our (white) siblings really understood how hard it was for us in the 60s” without actually fucking showing us the hardships diego faced for being a man of color in the 60s. like what? they covered the civil rights movement which now that im thinking about it was probably just bc they had to like if they could get away w skipping it i 100% believe that they would. diego literally called grace Mom (bc that’s his Mom) and all grace did was smile at him funny and go “you have no fucking game.” like okay writers producers directors WHOEVER at the umbrella academy maybe if u wanted to show how hard it was for diego in the 60s u could have had grace go wayyy harder on him and had him kicked out of the party and then it’d be this whole thing as he and lila try to sneak back in but nooo apparently retconning everything was the way to go

this rant was also partly inspired by the stranger things controversy. like i had a whole long post about this that i deleted but i had literally never heard anyone talk about racism in this fandom (to this degree!) until argyle’s actor wasnt invited back onto s5. then all of a sudden posts that are like “lucas doesn’t have an actual developed storyline like the white characters” are getting SO many notes, and it’s good that they are bc more people are actually paying attention, but did it seriously take a comedic relief character that got randomly introduced in the latter half of the shows running to get yall to care about racism? and if anything the fact that argyle is the comedic relief best friend to the white main character who is high all the fucking time is racist in itself but whatever. that show had so much potential it’s such a shame s5 doesn’t exist

anyway i also made a reallyyy long post about the umbrella academy portion of the rant but now that the last season is so close (like months and months away) im lowkey hoping they actually do retcon that scene?? i mean allison and luther’s relationship in general is to showcase how these characters didn’t have a normal upbringing and the assault scene expanded on that but the aftermath was handled so poorly. “im sorry” “nah it’s ok don’t worry about it” guys i know we were in a time crunch but if ur gonna have something so heavy u can’t just fucking dismiss it like that. even ella enchanted had a scene where the prince was like “kiss me” “okay” “i’m not giving you an order… just a request” “i know.” like im fucking sorry but if ur gonna make allison go thru that sort of arc u need to do it right. but also i’m a very negative person (cringe) so take all my complaints with a grain of salt

i can definitely see a life where they’re born gender swapped, and i think it would be a really interesting one.

(we’re still going to refer to baelon and visenya as the names and pronouns we know them by, just to keep it from getting twisted up in my head)

honestly i think baelon born as a girl would be a lot like silver and moonstone’s version of visenya. she’s a lot angrier and more intense and more violent than the dragonglass and gold version of herself, and that’s…basically baelon. angry, intense, violent. so much of that kind of gets brushed over when he’s a man because princes kind of just blaze through life with no consequences, but princesses don’t get that same grace.

baelon channels a lot of his emotions into physical stuff—sword play, trying to best the shit out of daemon, etc etc—to work through them. as a woman, there’s just less options for that. it isn’t proper for a princess to be sword fighting or hitting her uncle in the face, so he’s just this ball of furious energy that has nowhere to go.

having to fit into that box of societal expectations for women, having to play nice and be good and stay still…he’d lose his damn mind.

also, considering they’d probably…swap faces, in a way? baelon would be the one who looks like aemma.

baelon, who is so damn angry about his mother’s death and feels all this guilt about it—which would be even worse in this life, because viserys kills aemma in the hopes of getting a second son and is faced with a daughter he has no use for instead—and has so much rage towards viserys because of it. and all he ever hears is how much he looks like his mother??? with none of the ability to be like “i’ll be the best king ever to make her death worth it” like he does in d&g because literally he was useless to viserys as a girl?? he’s going to explode.

i can definitely see him being like Saera Targaryen 2.0, except instead of taking men to bed he’s just like getting into screaming matches with random people and setting things on fire and trying to fistfight god while visenya stands behind him like “therapy hasnt been invented yet just let this happen”

and visenya, well. i’d never describe her as quiet or kind, exactly, but she’s definitely much calmer than baelon is whenever they both exist. she’s very much what anchors him to himself, and he’s what settles her, and that doesn’t change even though they uno reversed each other. largely, she’s the same except for weapons training and a much better grasp of how to run the country.

but as a man, i think visenya has a different relationship with her father. viserys largely ignores her when baelon exists, except to compare her to her mother, and he uses her as a kind of ghost crutch whenever baelon dies, but it’s just kind of different when she’s a boy. he still doesn’t really see her, who she is as a person, but he actually looks at her instead of the dead mother in her face. and visenya doesn’t have the same fixation on their mother that baelon does because, to be blunt, she didnt kill her and she wasnt the reason why she died. she never even knew the lady. it makes everything a lot smoother with viserys than it is when she’s the only surviving twin or when baelon is the son. they’re definitely not close, but visenya’s more…neutral i guess.

they don’t have kids when baelon’s a girl.

visenya as a woman is willing to risk herself and get baelon to face his fears over pregnancy, but visenya as a man is never going to tell baelon he has to risk his life just to give them heirs. baelon says “no thanks, im terrified, hell no” and visenya goes “okay <3” and sends a letter to rhaenyra’s kids telling them to play rock paper scissors for the throne.

when the maester says the twins should separate so heirs can be conceived with someone else, he still dies. visenya gives him a three strike policy though.

it’s difficult to say whether it would be better or worse than the d&g universe, but there’s this: visenya wouldnt have a dragon and so wouldnt be sent to the Stepstones, which means they’re never even separated for war. literally their entire lives just…together. these codependent weirdos have not spent a day apart in their entire lives

I wasnt really a fan of Sebek, but enemies to lovers rules my life and now we're here.

So this started as a daydream that got waaayy out of hand. Underneath the cut is a drabble that came from it.

Think about being Yuu's best, magicless, human, friend in an AU where they get engaged to Malleus. They ask you to be their personal handmaiden because they're nervous about being in Briar valley so ofc you say yes right??

Well not all fae are super fond of humans, especially ones without magic, so Yuu asks Malleus to find a way to ensure your safety.

So of course, the sweet prince decides on who else but Sebek to watch out for you!

Sebek is obviously his stiff, stick up the ass self. He makes sure to check in on you like he is instructed to but he's always rude, always degrades you, and overall makes a horrible impression.

But, forced close-contact and a few dangerous situations later, Sebek finds himself falling for you hard. You eventually start noticing how dorky he actually is and tease him relentlessly, even up until the wedding of your friends.

"Your tie is crooked, Sebek." You scoffed, invading his personal space as he hums in discontent and avoids eye contact with you. It was bad enough he had to escort you, but the least he could do is properly prepare for such a big event.

"I never apologized for how I treated you upon your arrival to Briar valley." He suddenly speaks, almost making you jump. You cock an eyebrow at him as you untie his tie and get to work on tying it once again. 

"No, I suppose you haven't." You say. Sebek clears his throat.

"Although I will admit I was certainly in the right to be suspicious of a lowly human like yourself, after all, a human as the Lord's bride is terrible enough, but a second one…" You tighten the tie a bit too tight, a little mad at his continuous berating.

"Aren't you supposed to be apologizing?" You ask dryly. Sebek scoffs, face red and flustered as he remains stiff under your touch. He scowls. 

"Can't you see that I'm trying?!" He grunts, arms slipping around your waist and snugly holding you against him. "You just- You… I…" You raise an eyebrow at his stammering, stomach twisting in knots at the contact despite your cool demeanor. He's not usually this nervous, or this touchy. You can't say you hate it however. Sebek's face is awfully red still as his unnatural eyes search your face, desperately trying to put thoughts together. But you're there. You're right there, snug against him, not trying to pull away. He thinks his heart is going to combust when your hands move from his tie to slick a piece of his hair back down. You yourself don't really know why you just did that. He probably would have fixed it himself.

Sebek's mouth is pressed into a thin line, watching your face so close to his own. He could lean over and close the gap, simply to be done with it. But of course, that would be improper. He isn't even courting you yet, he can't simply…Your eyes lock back with his own again, and you smile a little at his flustered face.

"You know you don't even have to apologize, right? Sure, you were an asshole, but we're past that aren't we?" You place your hand on his chest. Sebek frowns at your words. He chooses to save the lecture on cursing for another time.

"I can't possibly be forgiven for my past actions so easily." He whispers, too intent on watching your face as you blush and smile and blink at him with those eyes of yours to truly put effort into what he is saying.

"We could call it even if you kissed me." You'd think that sebek would combust if he was able. He freezes, now completely red. He clears his throat, opens his mouth, but says nothing. He doesn't know what to say. He's even more taken aback by the fact that you were interested in him in the same way after how he had acted towards you in the very beginning. Your smile barely falters, and after a moment of his frozen, flustered face, you decide to just go for it.

His lips are soft, if a little bit chapped, and it takes a moment for him to realize what is happening. When he does, he kisses you back in a manner that you'd never expect from him. His kisses are soft, and sweet, and slow. His arms pull you just a bit closer, and you set a hand on his cheek simply just to touch his skin. He hums lightly, and chases you when you pull back. He swallows nervously, slowly opening his eyes and leaning into your hand just a little bit.

"I'd take that as an apology any day, Sebek." You say, a little breathless yourself. He nods, eyes locked on your lips, mouth turning into frown when a small dining from the watch in his front pocket starts to go off.

"We should make our way to the courtyard. We must be on our steed and ready for the procession parade." He murmers. You smile brightly and cock an eyebrow at him.

"Our steed?" He looks away from you, grumbling about his duty as your assigned knight and whatnot, and you can't help but giggle and lean in to place a few more kisses on his face, despite the soft nagging from the watch.

i think making the leap to "dead boyfriend" is kind of extreme because i cannot recall anyone mentioning someone significant to pete in his late teens/early 20s dying. i feel like something that tragic would have been mentioned by someone else at least once and ive never seen something like that.

petes novel is a bit complicated-- from what hes said/implied/is obvious, which would take too long to go into and explain-- over a period of years, he wrote a "story" about a fictional relationship and then, revised it several times and fused it with a "roman-a-clef" version of his actual life and real people in it to create what he says is an entirely fictional novel.

towards the beginning of this novel, the girl tells him the fashion not for function thing and that hes pretty for a boy. by the end of the novel, she is dead and hes crying on her grave.

thus, its possible this is an early draft from the novel and not real. however, its also possible he just worked events that happened with someone else into the book.

however, the book explanation doesnt fully explain the kissing boys thing. additionally, sugar has a lot of charged lines about being possibly gay, and mentions lying in a cemetery like the journal entry, which lends credence to the dead boyfriend theory.

its quite perplexing so its talked about a lot.

This first half is Billy, talking about how he feels stuck in Hawkins. His thoughts a cycle of the slurs and insults his dad throws at him, and the shameful fact that his dad isn't wrong. He looks at Steve and thinks he's pretty, and it makes him want to die but at the time time it makes him want to laugh because who would've thought his old man would be right? But he chooses to laugh because that's just easier. He drives, he drives too fast, and he thinks about how easy it would be to lose control. Just another tragic accident, but is anyone suprised? Tragic deaths are what kids like Billy deserve.

The second half is Steve. He finds the letter years after Billy has died. But as he reads it over and over again, he can't help but feel like it's not complete. So he sits down at Billy's grave like he so often does and he writes. Be writes how he feels like he's empty, unlovable and broken. Hidden behind years of lies and NDAs, no one could ever know the real him. He could never explain the scars, the nightmares, the paranoia. He finds solace in his memories of warm days spent with Billy at the Quarry. Billy telling him tales of California, and promising he'd take Steve to the beach, a real beach, once he'd saved up enough money to move back home. An event that never happened because Billy died before he could. He died in the town he felt stuck in and now he was truly stuck forever, under the grass and dirt below Steve's feet. Steve wonders how long it'll take him to join Billy down there?

U know, after going through some posts and videos about helluva boss, and seing how many people were disappointed one way or another after new episode, i got the conclusion that this fandom waited way too long and got too freaking wild. After 7th episode emotions had gotten high and we didnt get a chance to truly release them even now, so it gave us too much time to think what will happen in future season, and what stuff that happened in the first one meant. So some ideas got too popular and now that they got proved false it suddenly became a huge dissapointment and a sign of a bad writing. Which for me personally is kinda bullshit, because really i wasnt suprised much by what happened. I only didnt expect Stolas and Blitz to meet as a children and be in similiar age but everything else clicked naturally. So i want to share some of my thoughts, probably in a very VERY long post, because i will write everything at once.

1. Stella was being shown negatively from the very begining. The first real scene we see her in already tells us that the state of her marriage with Stolas isnt ideal ( The one where she says Stolas to take care of Octavia, we see the way they sleep, she has all the cover while Stolas has none) and that she may possibly be dissmisive of her daughter. We see pictures on the walls where Stolas plays with Octavia, and yet its much harder to remember similiar paintings with Stella. ( We have one where there are all three of them, but its the only one i can remember honestly) Then we get to hear her rant, about Stolas sleeping with an imp, in their ## bed, [in a motel]like a ## plebian. The plebian part sounds kinda important, because it shows that Stella possibly is more upset about how shamefull it is and not about this being painfull because of some deep love connection that got lost beetwen them. She throws literal imp at him, and later destroys some of his "useless" plants. Then of course in the same episode we hear Stolas trying to explain his relationship with Stella, stuttering things like "Your mother, she always was [...], I wasnt ha-[...],We werent in... "(i am guessing love) and so on. This is so painfully obvious that they didnt want to be with each other. But yea, at this point we still kinda can see WHY Stella later hire an assasin. After all its pretty telling that her husband cheated on her with an imp, the lowest creature in hell. It would mean that she is even worse then the worst, so yea, no shit she got pissed especially after Blitz had fallen naked in her cake. But it doesnt change the fact she didnt think about Octavia at all in it. It seems pretty obvious she would be hurt by the death of her father. So after all this, the fact that Stella turned out to be a bitch isnt suprising at all. Even if she is a very agresive one. But, again, i feel like we will see more why she is like this, because A. she was shown being worried what her brother, not parents, will think about their divorce and B. her voice broke at the end, which may suggest some stronger emotions. Its a freaking first episode, for me patience sounds like a good idea.

2. The deal with childhood friends is kinda interesting because Stolas and Blitz arent truly childhood friends. And i feel like it isnt said enough, because i see a lot of people that are upset about this. And i get why, because it sounds as if taken straight from fanfiction. And i wasnt a fan of this either. But for me it actually makes sense, because i was always wondering how the heck did Blitzo make Stolas lust for him. How did it happen that some random imp just got laid with a literal prince. Well, apparently he wasnt random. Stolas had thought about him as his first friend, despite not remembering his name after 25 years, probably seeing him only this one time. While Blitz even then was meant to be his playmate, being literally bought like a toy. Nothing really changed after all this time, because even now they still have very different visions about whats beetwen them. For Blitz its about gain, while Stolas craves real connection, wanting to believe so hard in this, despite the odd circumstances. For me the most interesting part in this scene was Blitzos reaction after Stolas called him his first ever friend. His face is beautiful, as is his sudden decision to actually fuck the owl.(this sentence sounds so wrong) Personally i think its because Blitz at this point had lost all connections to his past, Barbie Wire, Fizz, his mother and probably his father. Stolas is the last one that still, very poorly but still, is a part of this past. The one person that havent left, probably because of some real tragedy. I think Blitzo never got over it and would like to go back to easier, happier times. And at this moment Stolas can give him this. At least thats my interpretation.

3. Fizz and Blitzo playing with ballons is obviously a foreshadowing, but i am more interested in how accurate it is. Blitz says Wormhorse lost his legs in Great Pirate War, becuse he couldnt run fast enough. As it was later established, Pirate Game is a way for Blitz to stole from Stolas, so i am guessing it will either bite them later in the ass (specifically Fizzs) , or Blitz will try to steal sth with Fizzaroli but with very dire consequences. Personally i am curious about method, because over time it became quite popular opinion that Blitzos scars are from fire in which the circus probably went down. But this little game may suggest otherwise. Also, its curious that Banana Pudding stays to dance around Wormhorse to make him feel better. I expected Blitz to flee immadietly but it sounds like it may not be the case. And then comes more blood. Very interesting.

And last thing, very short one, because i am dead tired. Stolitz isnt interesting because its gay, its interesting because the relationship beetwen characters is complex. At least for me. I wanted to say this because i heard there is some drama, people saying that criticizing this ship is homophobic. It isnt necesserily true. If someone watched up to second season then i dont think the reason they are upset is beacuse the characters are queer. Thats all. Thank u if u read all that, i am seriously impressed. Please lets all be chill and just enjoy the show without unnecessery drama.

i was binging the shayne guesses series and it pushed me to compile some of my all time favorite shows. i tried for a top 3 but i still rambled my way tru rest of those in different levels of "favorites"

top 3 favorite shows

i was focusing on the shows that i thought about and rewatched the most (not by a metric of a ''perfect'' show, also newer stuff i watched that i really liked doesnt really have a chanse at beating these at this point guess lol. im fully giving into personal involvement) unf. one of the creators of black books turned out to be a raging transphopic but random moments from this show occupies my brain so much that i cant pass it off easily. also tamsin dylan and bill is an exceptional trio! so much on screen charisma, this is my original awful disfunctional (un)loveble but charming friend group that i felt deep connection with, akin to its always sunny in phildelphia, which i loved the first couple seasons of but never come around to watching rest of it for some reason. the office i loved too at its time but havent thought about it in years also it wasnt that personaly impactful i think. meanwhile i still adore fran and bernard ^^ those are my babies..

some very honorable mentions under.. (and one or two not that honorable lol) and a lot of ramblings/thoughts that go barely anywhere, only for my sake <33

both of these shows are dealing with gender and sexuality in a certain way lol. (for berserk i only watched season 1 (1997), newer one looks ugly. never watched it doesnt count. .p i wish i could read manga without getting distracted but honestly whatever was given to us for that season i thought was just enough. i like shows that doesnt try to cover everything and tie all the loose ends. i have nothing smart to say, the show just hits you like truck. thats all) coffee prince is a somewhat messy gem that belongs to a certain time period where gender bender(?) themes on japanese/korean shows were popping and boy was i all over them as a teenager.(i wonder why) most of them were garbage (you are beautifull.. and many others) this one still has really charming moments that holds up for me mostly due to actors performances

i finished the sopranos not long ago and it pained me to not put it as a top favorite. i could have safely put that instead of OZ.. but OZ hit me in such a weird time and at this point i watched that shit aproximetly 3 times over so... just by personal impact it had to beat others. i do think sopranos is a perfect show!! i would love a rewatch when i could, honestly should have just caved and made it a top 4, but then i would have 2 hbo shows there?? give it up buddy. relax my guy

there are a lot of shows that i loved while growing up but i wouldn't/couldn't rewatch them now and have a genuinely good time lol. like doctor who, merlin, chuck, glee etc. and i was actually fully obsessed with glee as a teen for some time! (i remember painstakingly torrenting the reality singing compition that was supposedly made to discover a new glee star?? there was a turkish ''muslum'' girl there and all and they made her do some weird shit lol. no suprises there) but just as full on episode its unwatchable to me now. even then i dont think i finished the show? maybe i just dont remember the last seasons. some clips still cracks me up tho. i tried to watch a doctor who episode recently that was supposedly one of my favorites as a teen but couldnt get thru it, bored me to tears lol. merlin i remember loving a lot but again im uninterested in watching a full episode now. merlin/arthur did occupy my middle school brain a lot tho, i think it might be the first media i can remember where i searched for fanedits on youtube and watch those a lot as well. ding ding ding shipping gene activated!!1!!! might be one of my first shows where fanlore colored my watching experience much more than just the material. thats why the episodes of the show doesnt really hit as well as they used to probably. also some of these you just simply age out of. to think that i also watched OZ around these times and how wildy different my relationship is with it is so funny. like when i rewatched OZ recently i was just hit with a deeper, somewhat different while still painfully familiar wave of emotions but with glee im like.. okay! i see what was happening there at the time but its not really happening right know lol

🐦 - Any Opinions or Headcanon(s) about a certain Zelda Race?: OUGH ok so. i had a ramble for disconnected races, and im going to keep that in my notes for now. however for a specific race. hahahahehahaha for a Specific race. im going to talk about the zonai. i also have hcs for them however those hcs completely disregard who and what they are in totk it might as well be a different race entirely. so anyways; i think they suck 🎉🎉. sorry zonai lovers. mostly in execution honestly, if there was a separate game that had no lore ties to other games or wasnt a direct sequel to one the zonai Could Work. theres still some problems (raurus imperialism but thats mostly a character thing, the secret stones couldve been handled. A Lot Better, they could have actual motives), but it could work. like how the minish cap handles the minish. however in the context of specifically botw they contradict Everything, as well as just make for bad plot elements in totk. theres the obvious stuff, like the hamfisted zonai ruins being in placed in odd locations, the zonai replacing the ancient sheikah as a whole and it going completely unmentioned, building the Majority of ruins including gorondia for some reason??, plus more things i cant think of off the top of my head. but to add something new ish to the conversation is how it goes against botw. like . before totk the terminology for the people who made those animal ruins all throughout faron and the ones who made the thyphlo ruins and the thundra plateau were considered to be the zonai, a barbaric tribe who may or may not have descendants from lurilen. like we had the barbarian set, we knew where all the ruins were (including doorframes. thats not a joke), we knew their crest and we had creating a champion info that contextualized some of it back then but now doesnt align with what totk did if that makes sense. theres still some similarities (dragon motifs, powerful magic users), but theyre clearly not the same race (gestures to the architecture and just they way theyre spoken about before and after totk). they try to handwave it by saying those ruins were either a monument to king rauru (thyphlo ruins), or in game the animalistic ruins try and cover zonai ruins for some reason, hiding it. even then the trailer ruins were different and fitted more closely to the style of the animalistic lomei labyrinth ruins. and on one hand this kind of feels like mad man ramblings because. we Didnt get that. all the thoughts made about the zonai pre totk could theoretically fit (worshipping a water dragon, the pillars being used for magic), especially with how vague the totk zonai Are. plus who cares it didnt happen. plusplus its probably just because i Expected something and didnt get it. it just feels like the set-up of the zonai was either a prank or Was thought about until being scrapped. and its like. i dont want to more or less justify theory videos here? if they made a game without the zonai At All that was a sequel to botw that would be alright! some of the conclusions made In those theories kind of suck! you wouldnt have to call them the zonai or even have them Be There. but take creating a champion and the trailer for an instance- when you Specifically give us information only to go back on it like it wasnt there . Why. you can even see the divide in what we thought the zonai were from ocs like in the prince ganondorf au i believe or just. searching up zonai oc before:2023. like keep in mind when i say “the barbarians/zonai” im Specifically referring to pre totk zonai and its so hard to clarify that. i dont know i could probably come up with more substantial arguments here its just. brain ramble. on the bright side it creates a neat time gap and a point in History. i dont like totk as a whole for multiple reasons but it sure did that. should probably just call them the faron tribe. also sorry i didnt talk about any actual problems but you get the gist.

like yeah i agree that kaz absolutely has a heart, but i think those acts of kindness are mostly reserved for the people he loves, even if wylan is new, you can tell he's already warmed up to him, and i really dont think he'd do something kind just because for someone he feels indifferent to at best, much less someone like a king, and wait omg i just remembered he's friends with sturmhund i take it all back, he would indeed give it up for his friend. and yeah youre right about wesper it was adorable, but i dont know i needed the slow burnnnnn, but yeah given netflix penchant for with gay shit, it was necessary.

And about everything else, yeah it made sense but it was really rushed, especially in s2, and like i get that they have to make everything as fast as they can in case it gets cancelled but im sad about it, but i just really hope malina does meet in the meadow in the end, cause at this point, this show is uncharted territory and completely new and i am so excited for it, and i think that was just setting up for nikolai i bet they will make him all scary later, or at least i hope. But like MERZOST!!!!! ALINA WTF!!! i loved the shadow cut it, like alina i love that youre very powerful but pls try not to turn evil, and like shes heading exactly in the direction the darkling said she would go which is so scary and obvious in a good way i love it. And omg the darkling, like in the books its neither easy to not root for him except maybe when he dies, but here omg, you're telling me he actually felt something for alina and it was not just manipulation!!!

Also Ben Barnes makes it really hard to not be on his side, Alina is waay stronger than me, "Make me your villain", for you? anything, also very simp i loved it, so its okay they omitted a lot of his character and relationship with alina, as they basically made a new one which i like. and about the white hair thing, it was iconic!!! i needed it!! but its okay, also i think the darkling probably experienced some shit associated with his power, but probably never like that cause the only amplifier he used was his mother, and it wasnt until he used merzost he became unstoppable, and it was slowly taking its toll on him, so slowy at first that it might have even been a plot hole, cause later it starts eating him from the inside.

Anyways Ice Court Heist is coming omgomgomgomg im so excited, i cant wait to see something really serious happening with nikolai and alina, and the crows just, just, yeah. i love them. i love jesper and wylan (the characters not their relationship in this instance) so much i could die just thinking about them.
