The reason that Russia is banned but israel is given protection is very simple: one is killing white people and one is killing brown people. The International Olympics Committee is a white supremacist organization, and so only considers the former worth a reaction.

Paris Olympics are in a month from now and yet, the apartheid entity will be allowed to compete because the International Olympics Committee willfully ignores the entity's crimes in Gaza and against their fellow athletes.

IOC Pairs 2024
Upcoming Paris Olympics 2024 Digital Olympic Community and Beyond
A new project that is centred on initiatives to use technology to create a better future encourages youth worldwide to get part in the Olympic Movement.
10 Winners of Samsung Solve for Tomorrow were chosen to represent this project as ambassadors during its formal debut in Paris.
Paralympic games
Samsung Electronics, a Global Partner for Olympic and Paralympic Smartphones, introduced and promoted Together in Paris with the IOC. For Tomorrow, Enabling People, a new online community for people who love the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
IOC President Thomas Bach, MD of the IOC’s Television & Marketing Services, was present at the event, which took place at SPOT24, a multipurpose exhibition facility in Paris devoted to Paris Olympics 2024. President of the Paralympic Committee (IPC), Anne-Sophie Voumard.
President and Head of Samsung Electronics‘ Global Marketing Office, Andrew Parsons Luc Abalo, a skilled visual artist and former gold medallist in French handball, and YH Lee, President of Samsung Electronics Europe Office Il-kyung Sung are both involved in the Olympian Artists initiative run by the Olympic Museum for Paris Olympics 2024.
Yeon Koung Kim, a former volleyball player for Team Korea, Andy Macdonald, a skateboarder for Team GB, Madison de Rozario, an Australian para-athlete, and Matt Green, a content creator and teacher from the UK, will all be participating in this project as global ambassadors and actively sharing content for Together for Tomorrow, Enabling People on social media.
IOC 2024
Samsung and the International Olympic Committee(IOC) created the “Together for Tomorrow, Enabling People” project to facilitate global Olympic and Paralympic fans’ engagement with the Olympic Movement. The new community is centred around the objective of assisting young participants in “solving, moving, and creating in the spirit of the Olympic values,” with a particular focus on the younger generation.
Three brand-new community-focused projects are introduced in “Together for Tomorrow, Enabling People.” The Solve Challenge combines Olympism and sport with Samsung’s Solve for Tomorrow program, a youth-focused social contribution initiative that enables young people to create creative solutions utilising tech and sport to address important social issues in line with the IOC’s Olympism365 themes.
Move Challenge uses Samsung’s smart phone to motivate supporters of the Games all over the world to walk more. With the use of Samsung’s smart smartphone and S pen, participants in the Create Challenge can express their creativity in a creative community for digital artists.
2024 Paralympics
During the inaugural event, ten teams that demonstrated exceptional performance in Samsung’s Solve for Tomorrow program were named as ambassadors for “Together for Tomorrow, Enabling People.” The ambassadors will try to engage Olympic fans worldwide and present the solutions they have developed to address social concerns at the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris in 2024. Together with working on several IOC-sponsored projects, they will also be collaborating with the IOC Young Leader to solve solutions, such as advancing sustainable development.
The ambassadors presented their real-world problem-solving Solve for Tomorrow projects at the “Together for Tomorrow, Enabling People” event. There were many creative solutions put forth, from aids for individuals with visual impairments to fresh approaches to increasing workplace safety.
“High school students are given the courage to change the world through Samsung Solve for Tomorrow,” stated Ngan Huu Kim Le, a member of the American team that created an insect-based environmental remediation method. “It’s an honour to participate and have the opportunity to share their solution with world-renowned athletes here in Paris Olympics 2024 to help create a better future for the planet.”
Samsung Solve for Tomorrow’s ability to help hundreds of thousands of young people become leaders impressed IOC President Thomas Bach. “Thrilled to see them tackle global concerns as future innovators. They are happy to collaborate with Samsung, our worldwide partner, to find and help bright young people who are bridging the gap between sport and technology as part of the “Together for Tomorrow, Enabling People” campaign.
YH Lee, President and Head of Global Marketing Office at Samsung Electronics, said, “This project creating a program in which young people can participate in direct and experience Olympic values is a wonderful outcome from our long-standing collaboration with the IOC.” “All of us will keep encouraging young people to take on significant and audacious challenges in the direction of a better future.”

IOC against “politicising sport” – President Thomas Bach
International Olympic Committee (IOC) President Thomas Bach declared on Wednesday that the committee was against “politicising sport” in response to Moscow’s criticism of Olympic restrictions on Russian athletes.
A day earlier, the IOC banned Russian athletes from participating in the opening ceremony of the 2024 Paris Olympics, scheduled for July 26, and criticised Moscow for planning to hold its own Friendship Games as an alternative to the Olympic Games.
[There are] more quotes coming from Russia that are extremely aggressive and […] some of them are very personal.
Last year, the IOC suspended Russia from the 2024 Games, but gave the green light for its athletes to compete as neutral players provided they did not actively support Russia’s actions in Ukraine.
The IOC revealed that the first Summer Friendship Games, announced a few months ago, were “planned to be held in Moscow and Yekaterinburg” next September, while the first Winter Games would take place in 2026 in Sochi, the site of the 2014 Winter Olympics.
On Wednesday, the Kremlin warned the IOC against imposing sanctions on athletes.

International Olympic Committee approves Cricket to be a part of 2028 Olympics
Cricket was a part of the 1900 Olympics held in Paris, with only two teams participating, one from Great Britain and the other from France, competing for the medals. Since then, despite its immense global popularity, Cricket has not been included in the Olympic programme.
Proposal to Include Cricket in the Olympics
Tumblr media
The ICC has led the proposal and underwent an extensive two-year process for the inclusion of cricket in the Olympic Games programme with LA28 also recommending its inclusion to the IOC for creating an unparalleled experience for athletes, fans, partners, and the local community.
During the 141st IOC Session in Mumbai on Monday, the IOC officially approved the inclusion of cricket in the Olympic Games at LA28. The Olympic Games is estimated to have an audience of over three billion viewers through both television and digital platforms, providing cricket with a distinctive opportunity to connect with new and diverse audiences and further expand the sport’s reach across the globe, opening the door to an even broader fan base worldwide.
In addition to cricket, baseball-softball, flag football, lacrosse, and squash were among the five additional sports recommended by the LA28 Organizing Committee for inclusion in the 2028 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.

what cases like imane khelif really points out in a way that people arent prepared to reckon with is that people dont actually give a fuck about protecting women, they care about protecting white womanhood.
imane khelif is a cisgender woman of colour who the IOC, a transphobic and transmisogynistic committee, (that is to say, if there were any doubt of her gender she'd have been thrown to the dogs), confirmed as a woman, and because she's brown, excellent, and fought a white cop who couldn't take a punch, she's made headline news three days in a row.
steven van de velde is a cisgender man who raped a 12 year old girl before competing at this years olympics and yet it was swept by on the news cycle as quickly as it came.
you dont care about protecting women, you care about protecting white womanhood.

Queer and trans folk around the world often take an interest in the athletes from our community, and Outsports even collects a database of all the the out LGBTQ competitors. While JK Rowling and 99 percent of conservative media were harassing two cis women boxers, 195 QT athletes represented 26 nations and none, but we’ll get to that. That makes this the queerest Olympics ever, beating out the total of 186 out athletes in Tokyo and, if Queer Nation granted citizenships, would be the 14th largest national contingent at the games. That hypothetical Queer Nation would also have placed sixth in the medal count, tying the Netherlands with 15 golds but falling neatly between the Dutch and host country France on the strength of silvers and bronzes.
One happy bit of news is that in both golds and overall medal count, Queer Nation beat out every single country in the world that criminalizes same-sex boinking. The only bad news seems to be that people competing in the men’s events seem a little underqueered compared to the women. Can’t we at least get a few interested in the Greco-Roman wrestling? Yr Wonkette is just asking.
...
Sure, justice in silver and gold for badass bisexual Black woman Sha’Carri Richardson, excluded from Tokyo on the basis of smoking legal weed in Eugene, Oregon, was as sweet as sativa; it was fun to see Diana Taurasi go out on the queer top with her sixth Olympic gold in a row (team USA’s eighth consecutive women’s basketball gold); and seeing the shoulders on those women rugby players was a dream come true. But we want to speak about someone who didn’t represent any country at all: Cindy Ngamba.
Ngamba is a middleweight (75kg) boxer originally from Cameroon. At 11 years old some family members fled to the United Kingdom as refugees, and brought Ngamba along. The family maintains it had the proper approval for Cindy, but that when her uncle returned to Cameroon it was lost. The UK Home Office has been threatening to deport her since the age of 16, when she was accepted to university and realized she couldn’t produce her visa for her college paperwork.
Despite the threats, Ngamba fought and won many times in the UK’s amateur boxing competitions, having started as a hobbyist in the local Bolton Lads and Girls Club program. She also went on to get an undergraduate degree with honors, all while threats of deportation hung over her head. After winning a UK national championship, she met then-PM Theresa May celebrating her win and the efforts of the Lads & Girls Club where she trained. One might think that the UK might eventually forgive an 11-year-old girl for not keeping track of her paperwork herself, but the Home Office has remained resolute denying Ngamba regularized status.
What makes all this both horrifyingly inhumane and also relevant to this article is that Ngamba is an out lesbian. She has been consistently denied a path to citizenship or even legal residency, only escaping deportation because of her ability to document horror after horror inflicted on queer residents of Cameroon. International law prohibits sending a refugee back to their nation of citizenship or previous residence if they would face persecution and risk of great harm, a crime called “refoulement.”
“If I was sent back, I can be in danger,” Ngamba said. “So, I was given the refugee status to be safe and protected."
Unable to represent the UK and unable to compete in qualifying competitions in Cameroon, Ngamba got an opportunity that no other stateless athlete had ever shared before 2016: she was named to the IOC Refugee Olympic Team. So far that team has only been allowed to compete in the summer games, and only in Rio, Tokyo, and this year in Paris. (They will be allowed to compete in the Winter Games for the first time in 2026.) Given the incredible barriers most refugees face, it is perhaps not surprising that no Refugee Team member has ever won a medal. But while Ngamba has faced incredible legal problems and a ruthlessly anti-immigrant government her entire time in the UK, she at least had better training facilities in her local Lads & Girls than most refugees can dream.
And the dreams paid off. Team Refugee got its first medal ever when Ngamba took home middleweight bronze. "I just want to tell every refugee out there, whether they are an athlete or not, to never give up,” she said after being asked to carry the Olympic flag at the opening of the games. When she won, the whole refugee team took to the internet to celebrate:
“The Refugee Olympic Team is incredibly proud of Cindy Ngamba, the first EOR athlete and the first-ever refugee medallist at the Olympics,” the team posted on X, formerly Twitter. “Today, we are speechless. Cindy did it. Refugees did it!”
Yes, yes you did.
