Alastor Drabble: Watching a Reader Interact with a Child

Alastor always admires how patient you are with others... almost to a fault! He would often tease the look that would cross your face as soon as you were alone or backs were turned... Being positive and kind towards others can be exhausting, especially in Hell.

But, as twisted as people were, children were still children to you. And each one you encountered made your heart swell, if not a teensy bit from sadness.

You punched the ever-living daylights out of some teenage punk, just moments before handing the stolen money back to the rightful owner: a little boy with shaggy brown hair. You folded your legs under yourself, getting eye-level as the boy thanked you bashfully. Alastor scoffed, judging you for putting yourself in such a vulnerable position. One that reminded him of a teacher having a one-on-one with a troubled kid.

As you go to get up, thinking nothing of the scuffle the child suddenly embraces you. You startle from the sudden movement, but you're quick to return the gesture. You sigh before looping both arms around him, fearing the little boy is too trusting to survive in Hell.

"Happy Mother's Day!" The little boy would say, before running away gleefully. You didn't notice the flower he tucked into your pocket, jutting out from your hip. Alastor's eyes widen for a moment, face unreadable as he watches the whole thing go down. A simple daisy, nothing more... but daisies held a special place in his heart.

You wave after the boy, hesitantly calling out," I'm not a--! ...Mother... aaaaand, he's gone." You chuckle as you turn back to Alastor, sheepishly scratching at the back of your neck," Sorry, Alastor... I still have a soft spot for kids, after all..."

Mama... he can see it now. The way you sat on your legs, the way you hugged the boy... the way your cheeks pushed up into your eyes from how sweetly you smiled. You reminded him of HIS mama.

Alastor made quick strides over to you, startling you when he plucked the flower from your pocket. You blink in surprise as the flower is tucked into the crook of your ear, silently. He uses a reddened claw to gently cast your hair out of your face, if just to get a better look at your warm eyes. You smile back at him, almost leaning into the touch.

"What's all of this about, hmmm?"

Alastor's smile turns fond, eyebrows slanting inward and up as he sighs," Nothing, dear... just remembered something... pleasant. A distant memory." You could feel your heart skip a beat as his hand caresses your cheek, rubbing his thumb against your heated flesh.

Daisy. His mother's favorite flowers were daisies.

"It's a shame, really... you'd make an excellent Mother."

Yeag,, just like silyyy little Easter themed activitis for the web world!! Umm,, I didn’t rlly know what to do for Sam’s activity so you just get to cook omelettes for him or sum lol also evil Kinitopet mode because I thingk the idea of fnaf 2 JUMPSCARE is so funny in his section

anyway if you absolutely SUCK at cooking the omelette ummm Sam will starve and his house WILL burn down WOW (thank you @peachtaglia for the idea that’s so funny) I think they all get really excited for Easter and hype the (s)easter bunny up a lot

also Kinito makes a special little story regarding the bunny I jhgngg my hands hurt I will draw it later along with Sam arson
