So we know Alastor and Lilith disappeared at the same time 7 years ago. And we know that Lucifer had a meeting with Heaven which began the exterminations. We don't know when that happened though. Either they're not mentioning when the exterminations started because they've always happened or because revealing when they started would give too much away and make it too easy to guess things. All Charlie knows is that Lucifer went to the meeting and she assumes he gave the go ahead for exterminations. But the exterminations haven't always happened. They only started after the angels, or specifically Sera I think considering no other angels knew about it, became afraid of the power and influence Lilith had over the demons.

My current theory is that that meeting was called between Sera, Adam, and Lucifer because Alastor and Lilith were planning on working together with him broadcasting her voice on his radio station to inspire the other demons to rise to war against the angels. I think Sera demanded that Lilith and Alastor be separated with Lilith making a deal with Adam to stay in heaven where she can't empower any other demons with her voice or even contact anyone in hell and that Sera demanded the exterminations happen as well in order to not only lessen the demons' power but also instill fear in them in an attempt to prevent future uprisings. I think Alastor was given the options of either be killed or sign a contract limiting his power and requiring him to stay away for a while so that their little idea of rebellion is forgotten amongst the masses. I especially think that because of Zestial's comment about folks thinking Alastor had fallen to holy arms. Maybe Sera is his contract holder. That or they tried to straight up kill him and he somehow escaped barely alive and it's taken this long for him to heal and regain enough power for him to feel comfortable revealing himself to society. But trying to kill him wouldn't explain the contact or his need to 'unclip his wings'.

Please, for the love of gods, allow yourself to consume content/media uncritically

You can be aware of issues a show/game/movie/etc has but you don't need to be aware of it *all* the time, you shouldn't have to justify yourself liking it every time you go to talk about it.

You shouldn't have to feel like you're the worst person in the world just because you like something that happens to have problematic stuff in it.

And you're setting yourself up for failure if you go into something immediately looking for all of the bad in it, you're setting yourself up to be unable to enjoy it! And if you do manage to enjoy it it'll likely just feel wrong because of that!

I'm begging y'all not to consume *everything* critically and to sometimes enjoy things uncritically.

i napped the entire day away and my dreams included, but were not limited to: big earthquake that, as it was happening, i was like "oh this is a bad one" and my stepdad went "its not that bad" - our house slid down a ravine into water / very vivid evening apocalypse that - after the blast hit and i died - swirled into sleep paralysis that occurred While I Was Dreaming (and i do mean swirled. i got whipped around like an inflatable tube man) / rich people sitcom where everyone was unbearable but i had my dear cat Letti with me / sound-based monster shaped like my mom that i kept from killing me via a funny joke (i didnt even get to finish my microwaved macaroni smh)

#it was dream after dream after dream #man that apocalypse one tho. slotting that one into one of my favorite death dreams it was so pretty and peaceful #everyone was just meandering to the beach but for some reason my legs were really weak and i couldnt walk #i tried! but i wound up just collapsing on the crosswalk. but a nice lady stopped and helped me up #and she helped me to the beach where everyone was gathering to watch the oncoming blast #oh man it was gorgeous. it was the only source of light so the ocean was glimmering with it and a low golden hue was cast over everything #no one was screaming or panicking! no one was scared. there were people on picnic blankets or just standing and watching #it was gorgeous and calming in a morbid sort of way. we were all in it together <3 #absolutely unprompted #a great break from the irritating other dreams!#the earthquake one was Incredibly realistic - foreshocks and accurate ground movement and everything!#house shook right off of its foundation #that sleep paralysis Within a dream one tho. fuck that one lmao #i woke up and was So confused for a second bc i couldve sworn i had already woken up #good to know even my subconscious is done with The Demons trying to get me #i love clawing my way tooth and nail out of sleep paralysis and not humoring The Paralysis Horrors #if i ever see my sleep paralysis demon im biting it so fucking hard. we have beef

#kny manga spoilers #kny spoilers #<just bc its an original post #mitsuri got so emotional she had to hug him but she forgot she lost both her arms.#obanai cant see whats going on so giyuu pulls him over with his remaining arm and they act as her arms for her :)#everyone else joins in very soon after pulling in the other 2 with them #some kakushi sprinted to bring a camera to document the last moment of the demon slayer corps as something joyous #finally get to unveil my sabito lives au idea- in the final battle sabito & giyuu were fighting together and sabito saw an attack coming #before giyuu did so he shoved giyuu out of the way- muzan's attack still got most of giyuu's arm and the end of sabito's forearm #sabito was horrified for a moment bc. that was far to close to losing giyuu in a fuckin *instant*#something something even earlier genya & muichiro live because sanemi stopped koku from fully cutting genya in half & genya regenerated #enough to chomp through the sword going through his mouth. made him more monstrous like how koku was about to do and it had the same 'is #that what i become? what im becoming? and for what- power? life? this isnt worth it' and explodes himself #all 4 of them patch up and recover as much as they can before joining everyone else w muzan #sanemi telling genya that under NO CIRCUMSTANCE is he to eat part of muzan. kokushibo was already pushing it the demon king himself? FUCK n #anyways it all started at an inn on a joint mission with sabito & giyuu and obanai #giyuu & obanai were kinda just chilling while sabito was out and about doing who knows what #'im bored' 'what do you expect me to do about that?.' 'wanna check out the onsen with me?' 'wh.' 'do you think kaburamaru would like the #warmth?' '..i dont know' 'onsen?' 'fine.' que giyuu giving him a towelette to tie over his nose & tying his hair up with an extra he brough #obanai thinks hes weird but is very touched by the gestures nonetheless. they speak sparsely until sabito joins (giyuu left a note) &#starts up a bit more conversation. it gets quiet after a while and sabito looks over and notices giyuu's little smile as hes laying his hea #back on his folded towel on the edge. 'what are you so happy about?' obanai looks over and sees it too 'hanging out with my friends is nice #'plural?' both of them look @ him 'yeah- we're friends right? ..can we be friends?' obanai doesnt answer and focuses back on kaburamaru #swimming around his arms. he glances over at them chatting between themselves about some minor thing- (either theyll scorn me or... or)#he takes off the towel covering his face- neither of them mention it immediately even if he catches them giving a glance or two #'do your scars make it hard to move your face? i think mine cut through the muscle. cant smile as much on this side' he looks at #sabito tapping his scarred cheek. giyuu's back to trying to sleep in the water 'not.. much.. its only deep near my mouth' said quieter #towards the end as he focused back on kabu (his prime excuse to avoid eye contact) sabito nodded and kept chatting about whatever- giyuu #quietly enjoying listening to them. kabu got too hot for the water and curled up next to giyuu's head on the towel. obanai actually enjoyin #himself around other people (than sanemi) its nice :) +theyre still on a mission together for a few more days so its not a one-off thing

i know hoyo is setting up rhine to have good intent and whatever in her trying to 'save' khaneri'ah or whatever; but i REALLY hope they stay with the cruel persona thats been built up for her. because it would be so wonderful to see a character who had good intent in the beginning just get absolutely corrupted; with the inability to ever go back to that prior state purely because of what had happened. also because there is NO way in her turning back after all that shit

ngl, i spent a lot of the time upset and just wanting mc to go back to the og timeline, to the human world or whatever, and at one point, i straight up cried during a few lessons bc i couldnt stand some of the brothers. like, my mc 100% wanted to unalive herself right before their eyes during some parts but moving on 👍

so today my bitchass was ready to complain bc i didnt even want to go to that trip with lucifer in first place — even though its for the plot, ik — but i actually enjoyed lesson 36 a lot and im so curious abt everything in the devildom, its places and its citizens now 😭 (btw mephisto is growing on me. bros so cute, so adorable and so silly and i wish him the best mwah). it had me so interested, excited and confused. and i cant wait for lesson 37 bc i need to sit and hear more details abt every single thing that was said that lesson.
