You’re lying underneath Robert, catching your breath as his chest heaves against yours. His breath is hot against your neck as he bruins his nose in your sweat-sheened skin. After years of shared glances and thick tension, the two of you finally bit the bullet and gave in to your desires. The rendevous occurred throughout the area where the bunks are, and your clothes were strewn everywhere. The rest of the crew are elsewhere, leaving you and Robert alone to release some tightly wound energy. Right now, you’re piled in Robert’s bunk, where you eventually ended up. That tight wound energy is now depleted, and you’re trying to get past your post-orgasm haze to muster up words.

“That was,” Robert chuckles into your neck, and you finish his sentence.

“Amazing?” you laugh, carding your fingers through his sweaty hair.

“It’s been a while,” Robert admits, pushing himself up off you, his biceps tightening.

You can’t help but admire the taut muscles, trying not to get riled up again, “I think it’s been a while for us all. But you did good,” you smile.

Robert moves off you to retrieve his clothes from throughout the bunks, and while he’s at it, he looks for yours, too. He manages to gather your shirt and pants, but your underwear is nowhere to be found nearby.

“I think you lost your underwear somewhere.”

You sit up on your elbows, quirking an eyebrow, “What?” 

“I think you lost your underwear somewhere,” Robert repeats and chuckles, walking back to his bunk with his arms crossed.

“Oh God,” you run your hand through your hair, “Where do you think we left it?”

“We started near the exit,” Robert shrugs, “I looked there. Nothing.”

It isn’t until the next day during the morning meeting that Mace comes waltzing in with your under hooked on his finger, dangling almost comically, “Anyone looking for these?”

You glance over to Robert, who clears his throat as his eyes advert from yours. You both try not to laugh.

I find it funny that out of all of his siblings in the game, Hypnos is the only one to have an actual wife in the myths (him and Eris are the only ones with children too lol), at least to my knowledge

Imagine an actual goddess losing her arm trying to make you whole and it ends with you running away from her in shame for being the catalyst. Icarus is so lucky he fell in love with the one goddess who isn't the least bit vindictive cause if he pulled that with say someone like Aphrodite or Circe I imagine it would have gone really bad for him.
