I know some people really don’t like that the movies tie into the manga and vice versa but I really do because it’s not necessarily Required Viewing but it does add to the experience of the manga and I think it’s a fun and clever way to have done both works simultaneously while maintaining a consistent “canon”

Like my friend watched Broly last night so I watched it with them and I realized only then that Vegeta’s guilt in the Granolah arc is, while perfectly understandable on its own in the context of the manga, a potentially direct result of what Paragus said to him about being responsible for the actions of his father.

#I really. Love how Super was handled with Toriyama and Toyotarou — as a Vegeta fan. Arc 1 like: Hey geets personal growth looks great on you #Arc 2 like: Vegeta did you know you overthink Everything and that’s what’s holding you back #Arc 3 like: Vegeta you are very loved please stop trying to die for your family look see they prefer you alive #Arc 4 like: Vegeta Does Immersion Therapy being forced to work with Freeza for a common productive goal #Arc 5 like: Vegeta you have a rare chance to help an entire people you’ve hurt and doing so will help heal you both #Arc 6 like: Vegeta you are overthinking again but turns out that ‘flaw’ will help you help this other guy who is traversing a similar hell #And then arc 7 is just him having a great time because after ~10+ years of working on himself he’s earned it fjdjdj #The manga makes me so happy y’all idek

Man though like having now gone through such a major personal loss, writing Vash having Wolfwood around again is... interesting.

It's like. You go through hell, your heart's been shredded by a scalpel, just the thought of this person is painful, not to mention any active reminders... and then in comes Wolfwood, the living breathing reminder of Vash's loss.

It'll get better in time. Easier. But at the same time, Vash is always going to remember Wolfwood dying, and that's just gonna have him fucked up forever, huh?

I have a lot mixed feelings about the second part of the event.

#it's both good and bad feelings #warning for spoilers below about story so i will take about the grinding stages first #bad: i'm going to strangle cherry with my own hands #what do you MEAN he heals 50% of his hp after his passive aoe hits #excuse my language but what the FUCK #thought second grinding stage would be as easy as first grinding stage but nooooo #as expected of the man who took 120+ pulls and refused to come home #okay story spoilers below proceed with caution #good: i adore loulan's main story a lot; the concept of evil and good which gets blurrier the more someone tries to differiate them is hnggg #also the fact that dongbi is obsessed with catching a-yu is because a-yu is what he wants to be but could never become #a fugitive who fights for his own principles in the shadows; someone who doesn't think twice before following what he thinks is right #he envies that a-yu has the freedom to do what he wants so he's desperately trying to capture him in order to prove to himself that #the path he walked down was right.... even though that costed him so many things.... too many things #meanwhile a-yu envies that dongbi has an identity; a set of principles that he will stick to no matter what #everything a-yu ever wanted was lost in that fire so he has nothing left to fight for #the thrills of theiving and the amusement of this cat and mouse chase is only to distract him from the fact that he will never get-#-what he truly wants for they've long slipped out of his grasp before he realised how truly precious they were to him #ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh god i love this event so much it's so good #please read the story with cn dubbing for full immersion it's so so good #now back to the grind for a-yu and shifu #tale of food #the tale of food #▪︎ edits #cherry biluo

that narration line in matilda that says something like "she learned what most people learn to do in their early 30s - how to take care of herself" that line has been my . my idk. ive held onto that line my whole life like a pokemon holds leftovers. you know when youre a kid and sometimes you just take something as fact without a single thought, you just hear it and think "oh ok"

& now in my very early 30s i feel like i am learning how to look after myself. like the point is that it seems like everyone else learned this at 18-20 or even sooner and its so hard to not be self conscious about being ""behind"". and that line from matilda just. makes it easier

Thanks, i really needed those. The shock is starting to wear off and i'm getting more and more... emotional :"D How...do they expect us to enjoy this week's Gojo episode when Gege pulled this in the manga. I didn't like to admit it but i did have a soft spot for him, damnit.

i just need to make this it's own post but obliviously bts are relaxed around each other, they know each other inside and out and love one another so deeply. but there's been something lately that just feels like all that but even more intensified. they all are just so relaxed with one another in a new kind of way and idk what happened but it's just making me so happy to see.

#someone on twitter mentioned yoongi particularly last week #about seeing him so happy makes them realize how much his shoulder probably held him back for so long #and now thats it's healed and behind him he can truly immerse himself into the run activities like he couldn't before #and i've been thinking in that a bit #and also just all of them #it's like this weight has been lifted off them #just seeing them all be so giggly and silly to each other #and pick at one another in such playful and loving ways #and being so snarky together #and just so chill and relaxed with one another #idk it just is so good to see that #not that it ever wasn't before #but this just feels even more so
