Just a reminder... Ted Phelps (the main brain of Imperative Reaction) has some questionable politics. - He recently deleted/deactivated his Twitter (@imperativereact). He's a Tr*mpite who liked and posted homophobic and transphobic shit and claimed to have grown up from playing in a band. Suddenly, he's got a new FB profile (presume he's deleted the old one) with him on stage, so he's back for attention. - He chose to produce Brian Graupner's new material after the Space Couch drama. I think there's something to be said for nuance (we've lost that as a society). You can't make people like a group. However... there's not liking a group and being polite and civil about it... and then there's holding politics that advocate for their harm while also being vile and nasty (that Twitter account was puerile). The ONLY people I've seen calling him out have been Matt Fanale of Cautic/KLACK and Marco from XP8 (who also called out Steve Naghavi of And One). I don't see many names in the scene saying much and I think that makes it worse, particularly collaborators, remixers and bandmates. I really hope Ted comes to his senses but... he's just remixed Graupner's new track "Leftism Is Bad" and called it the "Woke Is Bullshit Remix".

As for my own headcanons, that scene of him literally flattening himself to get underneath the door both scared me and gave me so many ideas. Gonna go insane in your inbox rq, I apologise in advance. I imagined someone who tried to lock the front door to avoid him, only for him to literally squeeze in THROUGH the keyhole. Bit by bit until he lands in front of them. Shit eating grin and all. You can try to hide from him, but he'd squash and stretch his way towards you eventually.

Hiding under a bed? Who do you think he is, the Boogieman? He'd just stretch out his arm until he grabs your wrist, slowly dragging you out with a firm yet playful grip. Or who knows? Maybe he might crawl under there with you. Ask you who you're hiding from with a devilish gleam in his eyes. How would you get out of that?

Perpetua has apparently said that Nihil used to sing to him moac(also maybe future but I don't remember well)unlike Cardi who says that's the song his dad used to sing so he definitely was a daddy's girl(I'm thinking on using both he/she so I'm currently trying to get used to using he/him originally only she/her lol)so I wonder what happened that separated everyone and specially with Perpetua ending up into what's being implied to be a nun then bishop and then once again into contact with her parents like who initiated what and how. I'm hoping that's it's going to be most dramatic yet saddest reason which is that the someone(probably connected to the stepfather's order or the clergy) tried to kidnap/kill both and only got Perpetua the trauma of it all would explain both Copia repressing his childhood and why Imperator had to give him to Marika.I hope it's Imperator that finds her maybe thanks to twins or whatever the being that converts her to the clergy.I'll do my best to at least review the comic tonight I've accidentally completely fucked my sleeping schedule so I'm currently debating on what to do lol also I wish I could say that I'm a better writer after sleeping but tbh I always end either missing or messing up words so sorry if this ends up being a mess

i haven’t said it anywhere yet but HE/SHE PERPETUA IS REAL 2 ME….. unless they’re going to explicitly label perpetua as a transman i think he should get to be my beautiful gender mess. my boygirl. my he/she/it/they. papa nihil would have made a wonderful girl dad he would have literally spoiled perpetua rotten the way that sister did with cardi and his extensive wardrobe😭😭

NO NO YOUR THEORY MAKES PERFECT SENSE I REALLY LOVE THIS. i even shared this with a friend that’s very into the twin side of the lore rn and he agreed this is possible with the way the lore seems to be going now. i’ve always felt that sister not raising the twins herself was largely because of a safety concern (which i originally assumed would be like. threats from the devil but whatever🙄) and with the way the reverend is turning out in the comics it’s like….. yeah this guy is fucking evil enough to do this type of thing😭 especially considering that it’s perpetua, the female twin being taken and brought into a christian organization is like super on brand with everything happening. my gaze has shifted from rosemary’s baby to the omen (specifically the first omen. which also had the big twin reveal MONTHS before rhrn). i still think there’s a chance or at least some wiggle room here that sister wasn’t initially aware that she’d given birth to twins and that perpetua was taken almost immediately after being born? because i can’t imagine a world where sister just allows any of her children to grow up christian after everything that she’s been through (which goes for anyone in her found? family. circus family. whatever. since they associate with the satanic church and would have no reason to align with christianity).

AND THE REPRESSED CHILDHOOD YEAH…… WITH THE FLASHBACKS IN RHRN AND NOW PEACEFIELD ITS LIKE. THEY MIGHTVE ACTUALLY SHARED A CHILDHOOD BUT THATS ALL LOST TO CARDI NOW. this is such a good point yeah i love this so much actually. everyone in sister’s family is fucking going through it omg

i really like the concept you have here about sister doing what she could to care for the twins initially before her hand is forced to give them up for their own safety. i think it makes everything wayyyyyyy sadder if she was actually given the opportunity to bond with and care and love her babies the way she might have dreamt of before having that taken from her (tragedy follows her fucking everywhere it’s not even funny😭😭). very inchrested 2 hear your thoughts on how nihil not knowing about the twins fits into this or maybe that’s something else that’ll be shifted in canon like. i figure at some point he might just believe the twins are dead or something like that which wouldn’t deprive him entirely of his chance at fatherhood and also wouldn’t make him a fucking deadbeat lmao

Watching people fight over and defend hh is insane. People who think it's good have utterly shit taste obviously but im mostly baffled by the other people who have come to the conclusion it sucks but also really need there to be a moral or ethical reason to justify why it sucks. It can't JUST be ugly or annoying or poorly made, it needs to be morally irredeemable.
