The Pretenders - s/t
No one sounds as dismissively cool as Chryssie Hynde. Somehow the blend of new wave, power pop, and punk manages to be catchy and aggressive. On the first half of the album the lyrics are confident, often sexual sung in a matter of fact way. She wants to fuck, and you'll do, but you're not special baby. By the second half the music calms down a bit and we get a few new wavier tracks. It's a tight little snapshot of the unique change that rock music was going through in 1980.
Tumblr media
George Michael - Faith
Whenever I listen to this album I really wanna like it. And I do like it! Sorta. It opens with three extremely strong tracks. Faith and Father Figure are bangers and I Want Your Sex is the nine minute funk jam of my dreams. But I kinda lose interest over the course of the whole thing. It always loses me on side two for some reason and by the time Kissing A Fool starts I really just want it to be over. The good bits are just bursting with sensual vanity though so it's obviously worth a listen. And who knows maybe this one will grow on me if I listen to it a few more times.
Tumblr media
Bruce Springsteen - Nebraska
I can't describe this album in any way that would do it justice. Nebraska will pick away at your brain until it unearths an emotional scab that you thought was long healed. Its stripped down lo fi acoustic songs are so personal yet so universal. I think I put on Nebraska hoping that this time it will tell me everything is going to be ok. It never does, but I listen to it anyway. Because at the end of every hard earned day people find some reason to believe.
Tumblr media
John Prine - s/t
John Prine is so unassuming at first glance. Oh a few cheeky folksy tunes some sorrowful country ones yes that will fit in nicely with the 70 adult contemporary scene. But it's impossible to really listen without realizing just how biting the cheek is, just how genuinely sorrowful those tunes are. You notice that he isn't just someone cobbling together popular musical styles. That mix of folk rock, country, and Appalachia is so uniquely Prine's. He can turn a phrase with the sophistication of a poet, but without a hint of self satisfaction or irony. And the disarming humor of songs like Illegal Smile or You Flag Decal Won't Get You Into Heaven Anymore make the tragic songs like Sam Stone or Six O'Clock News hit even harder. He's unfortunately overlooked everywhere except for on lists like this and in other musicians record collections.
Tumblr media
Frank Ocean - Channel Orange
This album is what the entire neo soul genre was building up to. A sorrowful meditation on love, fame, and money with intensely introspective and personal lyrics. Ocean battles with his feelings over some of the most perfect instrumentals ever created. There's a little funkiness here and there, some strings at times, but mostly stark emptiness accentuated by cold synths and distant drums. This production is what makes it all come together. The way that Thinin Bout You is almost acapella pushes the tenderness to it's extreme. The church organ sound on Forrest Gump evokes Motown in a way that is fitting for his ode to his first love. Super rich kids plods along, with a constant thump as it dispassionately reaches its tragic conclusion. Pyramids is a nine minute prog soul epic that describes the diminishing of black women's role in society using Cleopatra as a metaphor. Every song has some particular quirk that makes it perfect while also feeling like a cohesive part of the album. Channel Orange might be the best album of the 2010s. Channel Orange might be my favorite soul record (top 5 at least). This is required listening for all humans and probably some other animals if they're into music.
Tumblr media
Jeff Buckley - Grace
Jeff Buckley is primarily known for his cover of Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah. And the sweeping beauty of that song is just a sampling of what the album Grace has to offer. There is no end to the flowery flourishes, falsetto'd vocals, and fiery guitar that inhabit these songs. Some, like Hallelujah itself stay well within the confines of delicate art rock. But much of the album lulls you into a dreamlike state before crescendoing into soaring electric guitar solos. It's an extremely dramatic album filled with excesses both emotional and musical. Buckley's only fault as an artist is that he died before he could record another album.

Current Top 10 Bleachers Songs
Though I can't exactly say I grew up with Bleachers--I was 14 when I first heard of them--I feel like I did. Maybe it's because I actually did grow up with Bruce Springsteen, and didn't someone once call Bleachers a glorified Springsteen tribute band? I couldn't find the original reference, but I love Bleachers almost as much as Springsteen (who's only my favorite artist ever--sorry, Alba Reche, you're a close second I promise!!!), so I can't say that label is a bad thing. The Springsteen energy happening in their music is FANTASTIC, with some interesting electronic influences to spice things up! They released a new album last Friday, so it's time to do a top-10-so-far before I find any new favorites :)
1. Wild Heart
This is for all the kids who lived off the Love, Simon soundtrack in eighth grade, who huddled in their room and listened to "Wild Heart" over and over and over again and tried to work up the courage to ask their parents to take them to see the movie... but what if they guess? What if they figure out I'm gay? I'll just watch the trailers over and over again, listen to the soundtrack on repeat... Look, I like so much about "Wild Heart", especially the echo-y vocal effects and the way the chorus crashes in and the grumbling bass and the outro, but really this is my favorite Bleachers song as a salute to my past self. I'm sorry. And thank you. And I'm so proud of you.
2. How Dare You Want More
This song is layers and layers and layers, it's all the chaos and glee of a really great party, and I feel tipsy by the time that sax solo hits.
3. Hate That You Know Me
I thought this one was pretty weird for a longggg time, but it got me eventually. The production here is emptier than what I was used to from their first album, but over time, it started to feel less empty and more immediate to me, like I could just be hearing a couple of people giving the performance of their lives across the street. Speaking of which, shoutout to the backup vocalist who does those riffs--they bring out the best in this song's rhythm. Also, these might be my favorite Bleachers lyrics. They're fantastically fun to sing, without losing any meaning to the sonic whimsy!
4. Don't Take The Money
This is my comfort scream-it-all-out song--it has the perfect blend of genuine humor and equally genuine agony that I love so much in my favorite Taylor Swift songs. Experiencing the mortifying ordeal of being known? Singing, "I SAW YOUR FACE AND HANDS / COVERED IN SUN AND THEN / I THINK I UNDERSTAND / ... OH I UNDERSTAND" is the most effective cure I know.
5. I'm Ready to Move On / Wild Heart -- w/ Yoko Ono
Okay, sure, this is kind of just "Wild Heart" again. But I think it deserves its own spot, since it really does have its own thing going on. I'm not as much of an experimental production lover as I want to be--though I respect attempts to expand the range of sounds we think of as 'music', I still have a hard time actually enjoying the more out-there electronic stuff. But I'll listen to this one any day, weird buzzing noises included, because Yoko Ono's melody instantly cheers me up, and I find myself singing it constantly. Snow is falling! All the time! Snow is smiling! All the time! I'm ready! I'm ready! I'm ready! To move on!
6. I Wanna Get Better (cw: sui)
This one is... intense. I think that's what I love most about Bleachers, though, is that you get all this emotion wrapped up in these ridiculously catchy rock anthems. There's so much feeling that's fighting to get out of these songs, and so much in my heart that's fighting to get out when I listen--but then I can free it by singing along. These are songs that want to be sung along to, that invite your shared experience of things that are too heavy to carry alone. Hell, maybe that's what drew me to Bleachers, specifically, out of all the artists on the Love, Simon soundtrack. Because their music felt like coming out, even before I actually did; it gave me an escape, to a place where I felt like my secret, my big terrifying secret, had already been shared. Even for just a few minutes, I could get that weight of things unspoken off my shoulders. And suicidal ideation is hard to talk about, too. And I didn't talk about it for a long time--not for years after coming out. But I had this song to process it with, and for that I'm eternally grateful <3
7. Like A River Runs
Okay, this spot could belong to a whole bunch of songs on the Strange Desire album, but I'll go with this one, which was my most-listened song on Spotify Wrapped 2020. I don't think I've ever been able to relate to this song--I'm lucky to never have experienced the death of a close friend, or of a family member I knew well--but the production always manages to capture me instantly. I guess this song gives us another good explanation of why I feel like I grew up with Bleachers: their music sounds like how my growing up felt--this overwhelming rush of reckless joy in the present, combined with intense fits of yearning for the past.
8. Everybody Lost Somebody
COME ON MOTHERFUCKER YOU SURVIVED YOU'VE GOTTA GIVE YOURSELF A BREAK !!!!!
9. 91
I never really know what to do with this song, honestly--it's not let-it-all-out fun, like I usually expect from Bleachers. Rather, it's mysterious and reserved... but that makes it uniquely captivating, too. Its lyrics have beautifully executed time skips, and I love that string instruments are made central to the arrangement, rather than left to a low-volume layer in the chorus.
10. Rollercoaster -- w/ Charli XCX
I mean, Bleachers has some of the best hooks out there, and Charli XCX has a voice that makes any chorus a punch to the gut. A dream collaboration, for sure, and I wouldn't be surprised if this is my most-listened Bleachers song ever!
Honorable Mentions: Reckless Love, You're Still a Mystery, All My Heroes, 45, Big Life, Don't Go Dark, Anti-Hero (Taylor Swift feat. Bleachers)

When I was thinking of your request and what I know about you, I really couldn't help but think of our beloved Commander Wolffe. The first time he saw you, you were wearing washed out black skinny jeans, a red crop top with lips to match, your hair in loose waves looking perfect for gripping, and to say Wolffe's eyes were glued to you is an under-fucking-statement. I see Wolffe as someone who in theory would love to have a partner, a companion, but in practice is just far more comfortable with a physical relationship that develops into something more. So you guys would have hot fucking sex to start, and slowly, over time, you would see more and more of Wolffe's golden heart showing. Our commander eyeroll doesn't open up his heart to others easily, but once he does, you can't help but cherish it. I like to think that you'd be the one to introduce Wolffe to the gift that is pizza and pasta and good carbs. He's particularly fond of spicy sausage pizza, homemade lasagna, and a good brown wheat bread, like the kind you'd get at space-Cheesecake Factory. I also think you would be the one to introduce him to cold brew, and though he prefers just regular, black drip coffee, he does find himself occasionally liking the mellower, smoother flavor of cold brew. He's also become quite adept at making your blends and iced coffees in the mornings, both of you a little grumbly until the caffeine fully hits.
Wolffe could feel his heart calm as he came down from his climax. He'd never realized how simultaneously fun and intense and passionate sex could be until you came into his life. And he had quickly become addicted to the feeling of you around him, surrounding him, on top of him, beneath him. He simply became addicted to you. In the same way you always (semi-jokingly) said you couldn't live without your morning iced coffee, he had come to realize that you were simply essential. Essential to his life and his heart. Essential to him. You were curled up into his side, leg thrown over his, dark hair a spectacular mess he proudly owned up to. Your skin was slightly tacky, still slightly slickened from the aftermath of your activities. But Wolffe found he didn't mind, hand smoothing down the curve of your spine. You simply wiggled closer, sighing happily, and Wolffe knew he'd do anything to hear that little sigh as often as possible. For it, too, felt essential. "Comfortable, cyar'ika?" Wolffe's tone had a hint of his normal, dry humor in it, but was overwhelmingly fond. He dropped a slow kiss to your crown. "Mmm." "Should get you cleaned up," Wolffe rumbled, not making any effort to get up and do so. You didn't move either. "Mhmm." Several minutes passed, nothing but content silence and loving touch passing between the two of you. And then, as if in sync, you lifted your head from where it lay on his shoulder and he dipped down. The kiss was sated, slow, and contained a rare tenderness for the two of you. Wolffe instantly knew he wanted to kiss you like this more often. "Come on, mesh'la. I'll make coffee after we shower." The speed at which you leapt up and bounded into the fresher made Wolffe chuckle. Forty minutes, and another pair of orgasms later, you were perched on the kitchen counter, smiling as Wolffe set down a glass of iced coffee, straw curled into a fun little twist. You sipped it happily and Wolffe smiled fondly at you, raising his own steaming mug to his lips. Your heart skipped a beat at the sight of the gentle, content curl of his lips, just as it always did. "Come here," you said, reaching forward to cradle the back of his neck. Wolffe leaned forward, returning your kiss. He tasted heady and of coffee, and it made your head spin. "Thanks." Your voice was quiet, barely a whisper against his lips. You weren't just thanking him for the coffee, but you weren't sure you had the courage to speak your heart quite yet. But Wolffe didn't need you to. Your words were confession enough for him. "Anytime, cyar'ika," he murmured back, pressing your lips together once more. "Anytime." And his words were confession enough for you, too.

"Four Faces" by the Who is straight up a song about plurality. And a good one.
Like, it's like listening to someone read "Plural Culture Is" posts as a song. It is a little more focused on the negatives, and presenting them in a slightly humorous way. So it's not perfect, but it feels genuine to us, so far. And relatable.
youtube
They kicked me out [Repeat: x4]
You must've heard of them, a kind of screwed-up blend Split personality Two sides to fight and argue all night over coffee or tea
Well, that's okay, I wouldn't mind, two say or even three, and that's no joke But with a four-way split, the pocket money's hit And all of me is broke
I got four heads inside my mind Four rooms I'd like to lie in Four selves I want to find And I don't know which one is me
I get four papers in the box each day Four girls ringing that I'm trying to date I look in the mirror and see my face But I don't know which one is me (I don't know which one is me)
He kicked me out, He kicked me out He kicked me out, He kicked me out
I wake up over here and then I'm over here I'm trying to brush my teeth It's little things that are hard Like starting up the car when I'm still underneath
I get along alright, in fact it's fun at night I get four-dimensional dreams But I have to think before I take a drink I get hungover times sixteen
There are four records I want to buy Four highs I'd like to try Every letter I get I send four replies And they don't know which one's from me
I've got four hang-ups I'm trying to beat Four directions and just two feet I've got a very very secret identity And I don't know which one is me
You think it's funny, I can tell Well, you don't understand too well I get so lonely and turned around But I can't let it bring me down
I got four hang-ups I'm trying to beat Four directions and just two feet Got a very very secret identity And I don't know which one is me
---
OK, so.
We're looking into this, and learning that it's from the rock opera Quadrophenia, which is about a system named Jimmy with four members. And there's also a song called "The Real Me", which we haven't listened to yet.
We don't know any more about it, besides what the wikipedia entry is saying, so we can't necessarily recommend the rest of it at this time, but "Four Faces" feels promising to us.
And, at the very least, if you're putting together a plurals play list, it's a possible addition!

just wanted to say that you’re always killin it in every way with the things you make!!! it’s hard to believe you are still pretty new to art with the way you have improved so quickly and how much detail you put in. i admire how you’re not afraid to lean into things that might seem a little intimidating like a complicated pose or background. you’re learning as you go and doing sooo well with it and all your stuff looks great! i love seeing your art 💜 and I see how hard you work at it and how much care you put into it and it’s just so good!! i always love the outfits you choose and the coloring and blending when you paint is really nice 👌
and of course you’ve been one of my fav writers since day 1!!!! whom I admire DEEPLY for your skills, talent, thoughtfulness, and humor! and whose opinion I hold in the Highest Esteem, like I am mr collins and you are lady catherine (except you are not a snobby rude binch and I am not quite as much of an awkward weirdo…I hope lol). I just appreciate your writing so much. seriously whenever I read it my brain just goes “ahhhhh. a writer who knows how to write good. a writer who feeds me words and sentences that my stupid little brain can chew on happily without hitting its very minimal overexertion limit. a writer who builds beautiful images and emotions in such a careful way so that it’s impactful but not overbearing. a writer who knows what needs to be said and what doesn’t. a writer who has the same understanding of my blorbos that I do and therefore will always offer me my ideal characterization. a writer who makes action scenes engaging and easy to follow. a writer who gets The Nuances. a writer who can make fluff so tender and sweet without being too cheesy/sappy. a writer who adds perfect touches of angst. a writer who loves stupid things the proper amount (a lot), who has mastered the art of clownery and makes me cackle out loud. a writer I can trust to deliver emotional, well-crafted stories with satisfying arcs and happy endings. a writer who literally never misses. a writer, in short, who makes Really Good Stuff that I like a lot.”
tldr: nice job on your art and your writing u are doing amazing sweetie. ily<3

Okay for the book ask! Definitely making you answer 2 because picking 5 favorite books is HARD. How about also 7 and 15? :)
You are so right about 2, that's why it's fun to make book nerds answer it :D These are 5 that I love, but best of ALL TIME? Impossible to claim that, but these are the closest I can think of at the moment.
2. top 5 books of all time?
Annihilation by Jeff VanderMeer
Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier
Fingersmith by Sarah Waters
The Fifth Season by NK Jemisin
The Stars Are Legion by Kameron Hurley
(But but but that's not enough! I've already changed this several times, I need to stop.)
7. is there a series/book that got you into reading?
One of the earliest books I can remember sitting on my couch and DEVOURING as a teenager was The Mists of Avalon by Marion Zimmer Bradley (yes, I know Bradley is problematic but 15 year old me had no idea). Talk about a book that should have hit me over the head with the "Hey! You're queer!" mallet.
15. recommend and review a book.
This one is also hard! But here goes: Let's talk about The Hollow Places by T. Kingfisher, because it was one of my favorite books of this year and it Affected me. (It's this book's fault that I won't shut up about trees lately.)
As far as a synopsis goes, all you need to know is that the mc stumbles through a hole in the wall of her uncle's museum and finds herself in a strange world mostly devoid of people but filled with creepy trees.
This is my perfect blend of fantasy horror: some humor, an eerie situation, Weird worldbuilding, and of course ominous trees (this actually probably falls more into Weird fantasy than horror, but I think it's advertised as horror). Kingfisher is so good at writing a relatable, funny protagonist in a way that makes me just fly through her books. I didn't love the resolution to the mystery here, but this book gets ALL the points for style and vibes.
Thanks for the ask!

Dad jokes—they’re the groan-worthy, eye-roll-inducing, but undeniably charming nuggets of humor that never fail to make us laugh. You know what I’m talking about. The jokes that are so corny they’re funny, the ones that make you wonder if your dad moonlights as a stand-up comedian. If you’re looking for the best dad jokes to add to your arsenal, you’ve come to the right place. 1. Why don't skeletons fight each other? Because they don’t have the guts! Classic dad humor right there! This joke is a skeleton of its own—bare-bones but solid enough to stand on its own two feet. 2. I'm reading a book about anti-gravity. It's impossible to put down! This one defies gravity and logic, but that’s exactly what makes it one of the best dad jokes out there. 3. Did you hear about the cheese factory that exploded? There was nothing left but de-brie. Get it? Brie? I told you, these jokes are cheesy, but that’s the whole point. This is dad humor at its finest. 4. Why don't some couples go to the gym? Because some relationships don't work out. Ouch! That one hits close to home, but hey, it’s all in good fun. Plus, it’s a great way to remind someone of the importance of keeping fit—without actually saying it. 5. I would avoid the sushi if I was you. It's a little fishy. Sushi lovers, beware! This one’s a dad classic and a perfect example of how puns make the best dad jokes even better. 6. What do you call fake spaghetti? An impasta! If you didn’t laugh at this one, you might be a little pasta your prime. Dad jokes thrive on puns, and this is a prime example. 7. Why don’t eggs tell jokes? They’d crack each other up. Eggs might be fragile, but this joke sure isn’t. It’s the perfect blend of simplicity and humor, making it a must-have in any dad joke collection. 8. I only know 25 letters of the alphabet. I don't know y. The beauty of this joke lies in its simplicity—and it’s guaranteed to get a chuckle, especially from the grammar nerds in the room. 9. Why did the scarecrow win an award? Because he was outstanding in his field! This one’s as old as time, but it’s still as funny as ever. The scarecrow’s got more than just a field of dreams—it’s got a field of laughs, too. 10. Why don't crabs give to charity? Because they’re shellfish. Dad jokes love a good pun, and this one is no exception. It’s a joke that’s as snappy as the crabs it’s about. Dad jokes might be the kings of corny humor, but they’re also the best way to get a laugh without trying too hard. Whether you’re sharing them at a family dinner or just trying to lighten the mood, these best dad jokes are sure to do the trick. So go ahead, embrace the dad humor, and keep the groans—and the laughs—coming!

Deadpool and Wolverine Reaction: The MCU Movie We All Needed
Tumblr media
Let’s talk about the Deadpool and Wolverine movie. This film didn't just meet expectations; it blew them out of the water. I walked into the theater feeling like I'd been through the MCU wringer, but I walked out with a huge grin. This movie is a game-changer, folks. From the start, the chemistry between Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman is electric. It's like peanut butter meeting jelly for the first time. Reynolds' Deadpool brings the laughs, and Jackman’s Wolverine delivers the grit. Their banter is on point, making every scene a thrill-ride. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ka-4zVCJ0js The plot? It’s a wild rollercoaster. You won’t know what’s coming next, and that’s a good thing. The movie balances humor and heart effortlessly. One moment you’re laughing out loud, the next you’re almost tearing up. It’s an emotional journey worth taking. Let's not forget the action scenes. They are spectacular. From the high-flying stunts to the intense hand-to-hand combat, this movie has it all. One of the standout moments is when Deadpool breaks the fourth wall, again. It's classic Deadpool, and it never gets old. This time, though, it feels even more special with Wolverine in tow. Their dynamic adds a fresh twist to the usual Deadpool antics. But it’s not just about the laughs and action. This movie has heart. There are moments that hit you right in the feels. It’s surprising how much depth is packed into a film that’s essentially a comedic action flick. The storylines are well-crafted, giving each character a moment to shine. The supporting cast also deserves a shoutout. They bring their A-game, adding layers to the story. You’ll find yourself invested in their arcs as much as the main duo's. It’s a testament to the film's strong writing and direction. If you've been skeptical about the MCU lately, this movie will reignite your love for it. It’s a perfect blend of old and new, bringing back the excitement we felt in earlier phases. Trust me, it’s a must-watch. So, if you're on the fence, jump off and head to the theater. Deadpool and Wolverine is a wild ride that will leave you wanting more. They did it, folks. They nailed it. Go see it and join the fun. Final Thoughts Deadpool and Wolverine is the perfect mix of humor, action, and heart. It’s the superhero movie we’ve all been waiting for. Whether you're a die-hard MCU fan or just looking for a good time, this film delivers on all fronts. Grab your popcorn and get ready for a cinematic treat. Read the full article

bored and don’t feel like writing so here’s a list of which bllk boys i think characters from my various fics would end up with and why 👍 (inspired by one of my mutuals mentioning a crossover between bllk and one of my aot fics hehe). this is such a silly unserious post pls don’t take it to heart HAHA
pomegranate ink:
y/n would probably go for yukimiya!! considering her relationship with yuta, she prefers a guy who is talented and can hold his own, but is also gentle and soft for the most part. out of everyone in bllk i think yuki fits the bill best so i would say him.
tullia would end up with isagi!! she mentions that her type is someone kind, patient, and calm, with a sense of humor and skill at their chosen profession. if we ignore isagi’s on-field shenanigans he mostly hits every point!! i was between him and nagi for her but idk how kind and patient nagi is exactly JDSKDJJZ i think pomegranate ink tullia would stress him out so we’re going to go w isagi here
elakshi pulls up in the fic for a chapter or two, leaves, gets with a clan heir, and then flees the country with said clan heir during the final battle. truly there is no one more suitable for her than loki!! they can make random guest appearances together #couplegoals
hurricanes / hummingbirds:
it’s super hard to imagine past y/n with anyone besides kashimo, but i think if there’s any bllk boy who can match her and kashimo’s 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓴, it’s kaiser!! he’s got a traumatic backstory (like kashimo), thinks hurting other people is the same as loving them (like kashimo), is one of the most talented in his generation (like kashimo), doesn’t understand emotions well (like kashimo), and is a surprisingly poetic asshole (like kashimo). so i guess kaiser it is!!
present y/n doesn’t explicitly like anyone, but out of all of the guys she interacts with (besides kashimo), nanami is the closest to being her love interest (he would’ve been if she didn’t have the hummingbird’s blessing), so if we’re looking at a bllk man for her, the only choice is everyone’s favorite emotionally repressed blond king, noel noa!! not my type personally, but to each their own. he would teach her how to do her eyeliner better than even naoya zenin, which fixes something deep within her that has been broken since she realized the worst man she knows has cunty makeup. how sweet!!
a song for the drowned/in chase of a mourning dove:
principessa y/n is a bit basic i am afraid…one thing abt her she WILL go for the dark haired blue eyed sassy emo combo every time!! rin itoshi is the obvious option (as long as he guards her well and is willing to risk his life to be with her, ofc). he’d be a little more irreverent than megumi, but considering principessa y/n loved megumi’s rude ass moments she probably would enjoy that.
lady tullia would like isagi at first (much like how she liked yuta) but she would eventually end up with hiori (how she would’ve ended up with inumaki). hiori has that sweetness but also a bit of a sharp tongue, and he seems like he’d be politically savvy, so i can see this working out well
asftd/icoamd elakshi is lesbian so she’s not getting w any of these losers 🔥 ig anri is the only choice by process of elimination 😭
ship in the harbor:
well. okay so this y/n is a very special girl 💖 iykyk…i think she would probably go for karasu (NOT biased)!! he has a vibe of competency and stability that she would really appreciate, and he’s the perfect blend of friedrich and hadrian in that he’s an asshole and would have no qualms abt calling her out when needed/responding to her sarcasm with his own, but he’s also very mature and good at reading people, so he wouldn’t push her too far or anything. i think he, a supportive man without any traces of ptsd or codependency, would be a breath of fresh air for her and exactly what she needs after everything she’s been through
not romantically, but i can see friedrich and colt liking chigiri!! and honestly they (esp friedrich) would find bachira funny so he’d be part of the crew too. definitely a lethal combo overall!!
endure:
endure y/n is childhood-best-friend-sexual so being realistic she’d just marry whichever one she knew since she was a kid HAHAH. jokes aside she did have a crush on reiner so i think in a non life or death situation she would like kunigami!! he would make her feel very safe and protected, and he’d probably enjoy taking care of her, so they’d have a good relationship
tullia ral only ever dated/liked jean, so if she were to be paired w a bllk boy, it would be reo — a good leader who’s more talented than believes, has self confidence issues that he hides w cockiness, and is handsome/a people person. much like jean!! except reo would’ve been able to buy that candy for her from trost and he wouldn’t even have had to dress up like a clown to do it so this is actually an upgrade on her part
