Buuuuut since she was here, she'd hand him a flier drawn, colored, and glittered by hand. On it was a variety of different colored sharks and small tornadoes with confetti flowing out of them.

"I started a second club for those who aren't big readers: Sharkbait Ooh Ha Ha! Did you want to join? We need more hands on-deck for our next activity: sharknado-themed cookies for us and Mr. Entity!"

He probably shouldn't be surprised to see her again, but that didn't stop him from being excited either way. The young Malak beamed from ear to ear at the sight of his friend-from-another-world, quickly scampered up to join her.

He was even more enthusiastic to be here this year than he had been last: not only did he know he had friends here like the girl in question, but his favourite person in the world (i.e. Velvet) had come to Spring Rise with him! Even if her levels of enthusiasm had... not seemed high, Phi was still just excited to share the experience with her too.

Maybe he'd get to introduce Velvet and Elle to each other at some point?

Head tilted quizzically at the mention of Elle's second club. Honestly he was aware that the 'book club' had been a bit of a joke, but the idea of a new group? He was curious.

And maybe a little confused. But Elle was a friend; she wouldn't be inviting him to join in anything bad, he was sure.

"Sure, I'll help out! Are we just commemorating the events that happened here last year?"

Poor boy so far had no idea that the whole point was to summon a second sharknado... and honestly he was probably happier in that ignorance for the time being!

I'm never gonna be over the Maggie sharing Nate's taste thing. Or really just the intricate web of Nate relationships.

Nate/Maggie still together while Nate had a crush on Sophie and Maggie had a crush on Sterling. Sophie and Maggie immediately hitting it off and the strong vibe of them hooking up offscreen. Sterling's homoerotic friendship/enemyship with Nate but in a way where I cannot personally see them ever doing anything about it except in a threesome situation involving either Maggie or Sophie as well. Sterling and Sophie who spent a decent percent of an episode working together culminating in Sterling admitting he gets what Nate sees in her. Sterling who brought the team in to help Maggie (along with advance his own career at the same time of course but let's be honest that's always the case and doesn't mean he didn't also want to help her).

Hell, there was even a bit of a vibe between Nate and Tara. Tara who was very much Sophie's friend (with benefits) first.

It's not even just Maggie. Why does everyone Nate likes have the same taste in people as Nate himself and all get together in various capacities/times but distinctly not ever in any kind of straightforward stable poly situation like Parker/Hardison/Eliot. It's so so funny to me.

All the more because Nate is stunned and afraid of the phenomenon. Think of his reaction to Maggie's crush on Sterling/friendship with Sophie and amplify it.

hi everyone!! i want to thank you all for your patience as i've been really slow so far this year to get moving on both plotting & writing. i want to give a little bit of an update on my life, since work has been a large part of why i have had so little energy to dedicate to replying to everyone.

i have been made junior partner at my work, which means that i am now a partial business owner! this is a huge step up for me, since it's a company that i am extremely passionate about and dedicated to, but also means that my paycheck is more or less determined by my ability to help keep the business thriving. this is going to mean a lot more work hours for me and a big shift as i learn to adjust to this new schedule with possibly even a pay cut at first. my goal for the rpc is to continue plotting & writing with everyone that i follow, though i will continue to be slow to do so. currently i require plotting before i start new threads with anyone. the best way to make this happen is to like my plotting calls and/or fill out my interest tracker, or if this really doesn't work for you then my first meeting starter call.

i also work a lot through discord, which sometimes means that either i am online but unable to get distracted by incoming messages, or don't have the energy to look at the app anymore at the end of the day. even if it can take me a month to get around to certain messages, i am not ignoring them and am just waiting to get up the energy to give a reply the attention and energy that it deserves. because i want to be able to give my all to everyone here.

please don't ever take my slowness in reaching out, replying to messages, or answering memes, starters, or continuing threads as disinterest. i have lots of interest—i just have very little time. once again, thank you everyone for your patience and for your continued energy & interest.
