Hatsune Miku from Aosta Valley, Italy!
I kept seeing amazing half serious half joking Mikus from around the world and NEEDED to contribute.
Here you can see her in a couple of "typical" outfits (explanation under the cut)
The upper left Miku (closeup in the third picture) is dressed in technical clothes for hiking in the Alps.
The bigger Miku has a bit more cultural detail: red flannels and brown corduroy pants are the stereotypical clothes of the "bacan", a person who's deeply tied to their Aosta Valley roots and lives for agriculture and raising cows. Cows are a very important part of valdotèn culture, and every year we have a competition, the Bataille des Reines, where cows called reines (queens) compete to select the Queen of queens (yes, I am serious).
She's also wearing a whistle, a sequined fedora and a red and black shawl with her birthyear and name embroidered in gold, typical clothing of the "coscritti": every year the 18 year olds of every village reunite on the days of the village celebration and, in a tradition left over from the times of military conscription, party and drink (making as much noise as possible, usually).
Her shirt sports an illustration of the Greundzo - a popular mascot based on local folklore. Last but not least, in her hand is a "coppa dell'amicizia", a wooden cup with multiple spouts traditionally used to drink with friends to seal and celebrate said friendship.
I put so much detail and love into this drawing, I hope y'all can appreciate it lol

These are the earliest (finished) Renaissance paintings in the whole Iberian Peninsula: the musician angels frescoes in the València Cathedral, Valencian Country.
In the year 1469, a fire destroyed the main altar of València's Medieval cathedral, so they needed to rebuild it. In 1472, Roderic de Borja -who would later become the Pope Alexander VI-, came back to València after spending almost 20 years in Rome with his uncle Pope Callixtus III. And he came back with two Italian painters: Paolo da San Leocadio and Francesco Pagano.
At the time, the Renaissance hadn't yet spread outside of Italy. It was starting around 1490 and in the early 1500s that it spread to the rest of Europe. But these two Italian painters who came to València were already painting in Renaissance style.
At first, the Cathedral authorities were unsure of these artists, considering that they had to paint the main altar, the most important place in the whole cathedral. For this reason, they asked them to prove their skills. Paolo de San Leocadio and Francesco Pagano started painting the Shepherds' Adoration, but their skills impressed the cathedral authorities so quickly that they didn't even need to finish it before going on to paint the altar.

The unfinished painting The Shepherds' Adoration (1472) by Paolo da San Leocadio and Francesco Pagano.
A later reform during the Baroque period considered these fresco paintings old-fashioned and covered them with a new Baroque vault. The Renaissance frescoes were brought to light again in 2004. Experts expected to find the frescoes covered by a layer of lime and mostly destroyed, but they were pleasantly surprised to find them in a great state of conservation.

Elvas Castle situated in Elvas, Portugal, was first built during the Moorish period of rule and occupation of the area between the 8th and 12th centuries. The castle was fought over repeatedly between Moors and Christians and changed hands several times. Afonso Henriques took the castle around 1166 but it was subsequently retaken, then lost, then retaken again. Elvas Castle was eventually abandoned by the Moors in 1230 when their base in Mérida (Spain) was under threat.
Elvas Castle was also besieged in the 14th century, this time by the armies of Castile. As a result of these attacks from the across the border with Spain, Elvas was reinforced with a taller keep and artillery positions in the 15th century. King Manuel I further strengthened the castle during his reign in the early 16th century adding towers to the walls.
In the 16th century Elvas Castle became part of the ever more sophisticated walls and fortifications of Elvas built to withstand attack from neighboring Spain. Elvas Castle resisted many attempts to take it but was eventually stormed after an attack by the French in 1807 during the Peninsular War (1807-1814). However, a year later the castle was back in the combined hands of the British and Portuguese armies opposing Napoleon's forces.
