So, confession... I have been playing, like, an ungodly amount of Paleo Pines lately. Just an absurd number of hours racked up. It's such a fun ranching sim, and there are dinosaurs.
Anyway, I've been meaning to draw my best buds for a few weeks now, so we've got the goodest boy, Thane - an Allosaurus, probably my favourite [sorry Lucky]
And the Utahraptor is Marty McCantFly.
Also Avery is the best NPC, I just love him so much.

Interview with Kevin Beimers (Schrödinger’s Cat And The Raiders Of The Lost Quark)
First off, Tell me about yourself? And tell me a little about Italic Pig and what it’s like to work there? I got into the Northern Irish games scene by way of animation. About 12 years ago I moved to Northern Ireland from Canada to be an art director for an animated children’s series. That company went on to make a game called Hector: Badge of Carnage, which got picked up by Telltale Games. I found games suited me better than animation when it came to telling stories in a weird way, so I stuck with games and formed Italic Pig.
Italic Pig has been around for about seven years. Over those years we’ve risen and fallen with the tide, tackling a big own-IP project every two years; Schrodinger’s Cat was our first. We’ve a couple of big projects in the works and twelve people under one roof (by comparison, Schrodinger’s Cat was done with only three!).
Our studio is based outside of Belfast in the seaside town of Holywood. This tiny town is the epicenter of creativity in Northern Ireland, being home to a number of games and animation companies. Our office is a rambling three-story townhouse that we’re making our own with graffiti art, a cafe space and a custom Schrödinger’s Cat Arcade machine. You won’t find 100-hour workweeks here, but you will find a team of passionate game developers and artists that are given the chance to fully thrive in our studio.

http://www.gameccamag.com/ – Interview with Kevin Beimers
Three months into my Indie Game Developer interviews and I am already incredibly inspired to start my own indie game studio. No really I am haha. Not to say that the industry is so easy you can merely walk into it with an idea and with a couple of clicks create a game. Then again, the tools available at our disposal do allow that to…

Schrödinger's Cat Review - Holy Quarks!
New Post has been published on http://ges-sa.com/schrodingers-cat-review-holy-quarks/
Schrödinger's Cat Review - Holy Quarks!
Schrödinger’s Cat and the Raiders of the Lost Quark is a puzlle platformer game brought to us by Italic Pig and Team 17 the great minds of the ever famous Worms game series.
This “Quarky” game takes place in a quantum physics world where a place called the Particle Zoo, which keeps the most dangerous particles in the known universe, becomes unstable and chaos takes over. You, Schrödinger’s Cat, gets called in to help clean up the mess. Upon arrival you can already see the mess this place is in and you do not get any help from the guards of the Particle Zoo. With the assistance of little beings called quarks you set upon your adventure bashing through puzzles and rounding up all the escapees.
So as I said above your main help comes from Quarks, there are four main versions of these little weirdos Uppers, Downers, Tops and Bottoms. When walking past these dudes they will start following you, you then in return combine them into three’s to create special power-ups e.g. three Uppers creates a copter lifting you a few feet from the ground, three bottoms will create a platform for you to stand on for a short amount of time, and so it goes on. You can also combine different kind of Quarks together to create other types of power-up like take 1 or 2 Uppers and combine them with 1 or two Downers will create a missile that you can shoot into any direction. It is quite fun playing around and finding out what you can do with all these quarks and the great thing is that you get a lot of all these dudes to create tons of power-ups and try and complete the levels the way you want to.
There are two more Quarks to discover but these I will not talk about and leave them for you to discover for yourself.
The game looks great and fits the comedic plot of the story, the sound effects will have you spit out a laugh every now and then, and even the dialogue is well written and humorous. The game is great fun and will make you keep going back for more Quarkiness!

Italic Pig has made a great little game from a great scientific thought experiment and I think it can be used to get young people to become more interested in science.

Review by Nolan P. Smith
(Victor Valley)—One of the best parts about the current generation of games has to be the influx of indie games getting a push into the spotlight. Not every game needs to have authentic looking hair render and innovative mechanics that will change the landscape of gaming forever. No, sometimes we forget that all we need to do in a video game is have fun. Welcome to the simplistic, animated fun known as Schrödinger’s Cat and the Raiders of the Lost Quark.
Named after the thought experiment by Austrian physicist Erwin Schrödinger, the game from indie publisher Team17 and indie developer Italic Pig harkens back to the 2D side scrolling goodness we remember from the earlier days of gaming. The platform puzzler lets gamers control Schrödinger’s Cat, a talkative, sly character that feels like he would be at home with the likes of other iconic animal protagonists in gaming like Crash Bandacoot and Sonic.
The story goes that something happened at The Particle Zoo, something that released all the primitive particles that inhabit the zoo, and now they are all loose and running amok. Enter Schrödinger’s Cat, who is brought in to get the situation under control. But he can’t do it alone- luckily he finds a variety of quarks to help. These quarks allow for special abilities, such as flight, crushing rocks, creating a slime enclosure around the cat and so forth. It is utilizing these quarks, and mix and matching abilities to create new ways to make it through the various puzzled landscapes, that makes the game have a feel of its own.
The graphics look amazing- like a cartoon come to life. To see the various stages and characters you interact with is awesome to behold. Kudos to the team for bringing such a vibrant world to life, and making it so enjoyable to navigate through. Of course, for me, I do wish there was a bit more action in it, but that just because I prefer fighting my way through stage after stage.
I really enjoyed my time playing Schrödinger’s Cat and the Raiders of the Lost Quark. It was something new, different, and it kept my attention through and through. The artistic nature of the game pulls you in, and the gameplay makes you stick around for the ride. If you are looking for a great, unique game to download, I recommended downloading this cat to your PS4 or X-Box One. I give Schrödinger’s Cat and the Raiders of the Lost Quark a @@@@ out of FIVE. Whether he’s alive or dead, this cat knows how to traverse a great game.

Game Review: Schrödinger’s Cat And The Raiders Of The Lost Quark
I first came across this game in a Hey Ash, Whatcha Playin’? (HAWP) video, which you can check out here if you’re interested, and I strongly suggest you do because HAWP are awesome, but anyway enough unrelated promotion, when I saw the video on their channel I was immediately taken in by the quirky design, the fun science based universe that it takes place in and so I decided I was going to get it for myself. I’ll admit it took a while but I eventually got myself a copy and it was totally worth it.
