Maddie has her forehead against her hands, which are clasped in what looks to be prayer. “Okay, so – hang on, so Eddie’s gay?” “Yeah.” Buck can’t believe they’re doing this again. “And he told you he was in love with you.” “Right,” Buck says. “And you…” Maddie peeks up at him. “You’re in love with him?” “Absolutely.” Maddie draws in a long breath, and she splits her hands to pillow her face. “But you turned him down and told him you wanted to wingman for him instead?” Buck lets out a breath. “Yes, because I can’t be his first. I can’t be his first because I wanna be his last.”

DAY 13 - Five pebbles honestly i dont think i could really draw every prompt daily as i have already too many projects i have to work on

Sudden thought:

Both moon and pebbles may share the exact same murals, but they also share pretty much the same culture, pebbles inhabitants having migrated from moon

So there's a non zero chance that other iterators murals are completely different

(at least in the specifics of the designs, even if they all still depict the same five urges)

So I had an AU Idea-

Space is suddenly thrown into a panic, so Phrases helps them ground themself.

hellooooooooooo this wasnt an excuse to draw phrases and space cuddling. no of course not. i think the flickering blue light flung them into a flashback regarding dunes attack since the flashing is similar to the power given off by her spear. flashbacks can be caused by even very small triggers which is something i think space unfortunately struggles with pretty often. theyve got a good support system now though <3 phrases speaks pretty repetitively at points here- they're aware that space isnt mentally in the present and they're asserting what they know to help. sometimes you have to repeat yourself many times for someone in a panic to hear you or really process what youre telling them

1B on that pose meme (or whatever it's called) has real comedy potential. Not like that person is actually hurt or dying but something melodramatic, you know? I'm picturing Regongar holding Octavia and he's shouting MY GIRL NEEDS A MANICURE STAT! in response to her "I broke a nail!" bark

"If you look away," The burly crime lord sneers, "Then we'll add ten more. Understand? Say it. Out loud."

"I--I understand," Donnie gasps the words, trembling under the hold of the other gang members. The boss scoffs at him and turns away, stomping back across the room.

Leo doesn't spare the boss a glance, keeps his gaze on Donnie. They've taped his mouth shut, tired of his backtalk and one-liners, but Leo says enough with his eyes alone: I regret nothing, I chose this, I'm doing it for you, I'm sorry.

The first blow makes Leo buck against the chains, drawing in a sharp breath through his nose.

The second one makes him grunt.

The third draws blood.

Donnie's flinching, breathing harder and faster with each strike Leo takes. His eyes sting because he's scared to blink, scared they'll take advantage of even that. And they sting with the tears gathering in the corners.

The fifth blow finally makes Leo cry out, a muffled shout against the gag. His eyes squeeze shut as he falls back against the wall. Donnie tries to leap to his aid but the gang members drag him back and slam him back down onto his knees.

"STOP!" His voice cracks, "PLEASE, JUST STOP IT!"

"Ya' wanna trade back?" The boss grins, showing ugly stained teeth.

Leo comes to life in an instant, wrenching against the chains with a stifled shout of defiance. No, no, he does not want to switch, he can take it, he will take it, you leave his brother alone!

Six hits. Then seven. The eighth makes Leo sag, his eyelids fluttering, his body shuddering. Blood is beginning to pool beneath him, leaving red streaks on his skin.

Nine.

Ten.

The gang undoes his chains. They grab Leo and drag his body over to toss him at Donnie's feet. Donnie doesn't even hesitate, he launches himself at his brother and gathers him up into his arms, heedless of the hot blood dripping down his arms and legs.

The boss laughs, "Come into our territory or interfere with our business again, and the body you get back won't be breathin' no more."

Donnie wants to scream. But he can't make a sound. All he can do is listen to the rasp of his brother's breathing and hate himself for not doing more.

sorry for posting so late you guys, everyone was having fun all day and i forgot to charge my phone :(

dont worry tho, i do have some updates about the trip, and yes, it went well, no trouble getting to Moon's house, which is more a beach house, from the outside, it looks handmade, its actually quite comfy inside, we'll head back tommorow though, but Rivulet does wanna stay for a bit longer, to check something out in the water, even though we all went on a swim yesterday

then at that night, got a cool pic of the actual moon

plus a version Moon decided to spice up with effects, it looks very cool 👍

oh yea and before i forget, everyone that was on the trip, me, Rivulet, Spearmaster, Nightcat, and Monk, Nightcat told me Surv aint feelin too well, so Enot's lookin after him till we're back
