Mastery in NEET and JEE with Bohdi Park: Your Final Exam Strategy Guide

Preparing for NEET and JEE may make you feel like climbing the mountain. But with the right strategy and support, this mountain turns into a managed path. In Bohdi Park, we believe that each student has the ability to shine - they just need the right plan, the right equipment and the right mindset. Let us walk through some proven strategies that have helped our students to convert stress into success.
1. Understand the exam structure - know what you are doing
Imagine training for marathon without knowing the route. Looks misleading, isn't it? The same goes for NEET and JEE. Before diving in the endless hours of the study, break the structure of these exams so that you know what you are doing.
NEET:
Period: 3 hours 20 minutes
Subject: Physics, Chemistry, Biology
Total Question: 200 (180 to be tried)
Marking Plan: +4 for the correct answer, -1 for the wrong answer
JEE Main:
Duration: 3 hours
Subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics
Total Questions: 90 (75 to be attempted)
Marking Scheme: +4 for correct answers, -1 for incorrect answers
2. Personal Studies Plans: Let's Get Real
Forget a size-fit-all plans. In Bohdi Park, we help you design a study program that fits in areas for your unique strength and improvement. Here's how we do it:
Break the course into small, managed classes
Set realistic daily, weekly and monthly goals
Include regular check-in to track progress
Don't forget those very important brakes to recharge
3. NCERT - Your best friend in disguise
If there is a book that can increase your NEET and JEE prep single -handedly, it is the NCERT textbooks. In Bohdi Park, we take NCERT studies seriously. Here is our approach:
Chapter-wise reading plan is planned to cover every nook and cranny.
Doubt-masters session targeted to deal with trickery concepts
Flashcard to keep important formulas and words fresh in your mind
4. High-affected topics-to concentrate
Not every subject takes the same weight. Zero on Bohdi Park heavy hits -which the subjects pop up year -up. Here is a secretly:
NEET: Human physiology, genetics, plant physiology, organic chemistry
JEE: Calculus, electromagnetism, chemical bonding, mechanics
Our expert faculty host workshops and special classes to help you in these important areas.
5. Active Education: Make it a stick
You know that when you read a chapter, but can't anything be remembered? This is to learn passive. In Bohdi Park, we believe in active learning - making the material a stick. Try these techniques:
Flashcard for cutting size revision
Mind maps to connect related concepts
Mneemonics for those hard-to-rimborn formulas
Group discussion to strengthen learning
6. Mock Test: Practice makes right
Practice, practice and more practice. In Bohdi Park, every mock test is considered like a real deal. here's why:
This helps you manage time under pressure
Reveals recurring mistakes
Makes your exam-day confidence
Gives you a reality check at the level of your preparation
7. Time Management - Secret Chutney
You can know the entire course and still struggle if you cannot manage your time. In Bohdi Park, we coach you:
First deal with high scoring questions
Apply shortcut to long calculation
Stay calm and keep an eye on the clock
8. Stay fit - mind and body
The burnout is real, and it can vandalize the months of hard work. This is why Bohdi Park encourages:
Mindfulness practice to reduce stress
Short, regular study breaks
Nutritious snacks to keep the level of energy stable

hi, this is my second time sending it and i pray you receive it. i'm the 22yo anon with the relationships, social dread and sexuality question. ill try my best to rewrite as quick as possible. i would like to be guided and need your big sister advise,,, i don't know how to ask and word my issues smoothly 😓😓,,, (context- ive known to be demiromantic and little to no fixation on sex, on the asexual spectrum?) so i just turned 22 and have a crush and looks like he too likes me the same and im sure its going to get serious,, i have been nervous about talking about my preferences with my crush because someday i have to explain to them because i have friends and peers around me asking me to "get some" and that it's normal and it's how it'll change my asexuality?? to them im just faking being uncomfortable around bed talk even though i agree i can be the holiest nun but i do catch myself having the highest libido therefore take care of myself without needing anyone from time to time. pleasing for me felt like an annoying itch that needed to be scratched like most people,,, corn doesn't do it for me so I never understood the hype and didn't feel a thing,,, yes I have crushes but im not aching and wanting to bang them,, a bunch of my peers have at a young age and unsafely which got one of them pregnant, being in indian society it's looked down upon and what my friend had to go through was rough and it had a huge impact,,, though my parents are forward thinking people and openly and safely talked about this topic with me without having shame tied to it and my mother also makes it a comfortable space,, im not shaming anyone who engages in activities like these and i also understand that its human nature and it's how we procreate and evolve yet i still get very uncomfortable around sexual scenes in movies maybe it's my own childhood trauma causing this feeling of dread and discomfort from my childhood,,,,
besides my friends and family, i shared my asexuality to my aunt and baby cousin,,,,, they were supportive but kept being skeptic like my peers would saying this is temporary 💀 that i need to get laid asap which bothered me sm,,, my cousin now (a party, club going personality) too has engaged in activities with her exes since she was a preteen and im the only one in the fam who knows (desi household is no joke) and im worried for her safety though she seems independent but i do feel concerned and wonder if i should let her be because she has been distant and lord knows who she is with next,,,,she's much much younger but coming from a wealthy family kinda looks down on me and for not having any relationship experiences so distanced herself from me which hurts,,, bottom line i feel ostracized to a degree by people i care about and there is this insane pressure to have to talk about my trauma and issues around sex,,, as they say it's a man's birth right and they all want it at some point and so will your crush or men will leave you the minute they get that repulsion??😓
i might consider it for my man someday but i don't want it to affect my relationship with men??
how do i face people when im not taken seriously or call it a nun phase? i don't want to lose men over this and who better than you to ask,,,, im typing and im all teared up,,, i need clarity on how to approach this better without having internalized any pain, guilt for feeling the way i do. you can answer when you're ready and sorry i made it too long 😞😣
This is my third attempt
"this is my third attempt" 😭😭😭
girlie ur not going for JEE mains 😭😭this is just my inbox
(for non desis, JEE is a highly competitive college entrance exam,, ppl prepare for it for YEARS and some ppl commit suicide when they cant crack it 🤡 explaining it is taking the fun away from the joke but thought id give u context <33)
but ANYWAYYYS
first of all dont apologize for the long ask or for sharing your experiences,, I GOTCHU 😘💛
now about your question:
one thing u need to know is that the right person will NEVER EVER make u feel "compelled" to have sex,, ive had partners during my celibate era who i didnt even kiss lol and they were entirely fine with it
pls dont listen to your friends and family and believe that sex is something you OWE your partner/men. i had many nasty friends tell me the same or try to convince me that i "should" do it bc otherwise its not a "real" relationship and im so glad i never listened to them<33
i also know many women who are waiting for marriage to have sex but have boyfriends atm. they all have different degrees of intimacy that they're okay with (some go up to oral and leave penetrative intercourse for marriage, others just kiss, makeout and cuddle) but u can also have a zero intimacy relationship. if a man wants you and wants to be with you, HE WILL DO ANYTHING. i once told a guy (he was 21 and i was 23 and he wanted to date me) that im celibate and dont want to have sex and he said "thats perfectly fine, i didnt ask you out to sleep with you, i want to be with you, whatever your terms are, thats fine by me" and honestly there are MANY such dudes out there,, not every guy is a porn addicted weirdo who believes u OWE them sex 🤮🤢🤢🤮
u dont have to have casual sex if you dont want to!! esp since you're a virgin, i think its important for you to be wise about your partner and choose someone who is considerate and caring!!! THIS IS NOT A RACE, you can have sex later in life, i assure you its nothing special if you feel "compelled" to do it/dont like your partner/dont feel comfortable.
having another person inside u is as intimate as two people can be and it is so vulnerable,, dont rush it and dont do it with someone u dont trust to take you through the experience tenderly!!!
i think you just need to drop your friends lol,, they sound unhealthy
if i dont include my r4pist, then ive had sex with 3 people (i dont actually want to include baldie tbh but 🤢🤮) and 2 of those were with a partner (1 is my current partner) and those experiences were so pleasant and wonderful<3 ive had people tell me i "should" try casual sex 🙄but its not for me and even now i tell you, i have no issues staying celibate, i think its better to just not have sex than to have dissatisfying sex ://
you wont "lose" men over sex lol, you might lose immature men but those are exactly the guys u want nothing to do with!!! its a great way to weed them out!!!
i follow a 5 date rule with sex actually. i have to like him enough to go on atleast 5 dates with him before we do anything intimate,, if he seems impatient or too eager or whatever, then cut his nasty ass out,,
(this is just general advice for anyone, i know you dont want to have sex<3)
stop telling people your personal business btw!! you dont have to share your sex life or lack thereof with all your friends bc its none of their business at the end of the day. ESPECIALLY since they dont seem to understand where youre coming from, you should stop sharing this stuff with them. this is not info that you owe them just bc ya'll are friends. i absolutely hate sharing my personal business with my "friends" and all the times i have, i absolutely regretted it. i hate that kind of interference. like YOU dont get to have an opinion about my life lol??
basically, stay private, you do you, nothing wrong with being asexual or being celibate, sex is overhyped and most men dont know how to fck (sorry to speak facts) and the right partner wont want sex from you. there are men who take care of bedridden partners. love makes anything possible. and i hope you find someone who truly genuinely loves you so that you never have to worry about any of this.
i also hope you get better friends!!!<33
wishing u the best,
Heaven<3

i'm the same anon from my last text but I forgot to mention another thing that's bugging me - is 11th revision really possible alongside 12th?I know it is easier said than done, but since I'll only be doing physics,my chemistry will be left behind. I'm way more confident in chem but i obviously still need practice. And say - if I'm not able to complete this now, then when? Does one get enough time in September/October later in the year?
I can't imagine the amplified pressure of boards and coaching and 11th revision and 12th. Although I am planning on frequent revision, so can you suggest some tips to actually implement this?
I mentioned some pointers on this in the last ask you sent. But in addition to that, I wanted to tackle the boards and pressure points in this answer.
One thing about NEET preparation: there will never be enough time.
So never think you can get possibly enough time in August, September or October to start studying for NEET. It's a big, fate-deciding exam that doesn't have a second attempt or session like JEE Mains.
Start small, start now.
It's better than starting later and taking bigger bites than one can chew. That's the number one tip that your situation looks for.
Practice a lot, and with proper mock test settings. Ask your institute teachers if you can sit for tests that are meant for 11th graders (you said you're moving up to 12th this year, hence...). It's ok if you're not getting awesome marks now. Half the exam is won in familiarity and ease. The anxiety stems from not having practiced enough (which you shall do) and being in a setting not familiar. Switch exam rooms once in a while, try not looking at a digital clock. Stuff like that can help with mock tests too.
There will always be pressure, and we will look for a way for it to not affect us that much. Make a schedule for a week or two weeks max. Or match it to your test schedule. Arrange doubt sessions with your teachers, plus ask them if they have a preferable revision schedule for you to adhere.
💛

i don't know any of you, neither do ya'll know me. but i am just posting this here. i might delete it later.
i am 18. and my life's not been easy. i mean no one's has obviously. but i find myself upset about weird things. as i go back, i see nothing. no memories. no friends.
i haven't cherished anything. i was this loner with absolutely no friends. i faced bullying in school inspite of being a good scorer and every teacher's favourite child. they used to and still say, 'scholar aditi', i used to score like crazy, trust me. now it all left me. but back then i was the most sincere, annoying girl.
a girl once asked me how do i do it all so perfectly. and i couldn't even say that you need to sacrifice a lot for that. i knew nothing. i was an absolute failure. i was like this hermit who lived far away from the city. and when it struck me, boy it hurt so bad.
i felt timid and weak among those blood-sucking monstrous teenage girls. i don't know if i still can forgive them. it made my life a living hell. i would spend hours crying my soul out in front of my mother.
oh my dear mother, if only she knew. my parents made it worse for me. i would come home from school, realizing how empty my life is, blame my family for it, and would screech and cry all day. i saw that my parents weren't like those of the girls around me. i knew it was gonna be horrible, moreover my 13 year old body didn't help either.
the lockdown. i perceived i was depressed. i wailed in front of my father to take me to a therapist. he didn't. it went on. trusted a boy. talked to him all day. all of it opened up again, started preparing for jee mains. classes. met people there. good people. first time feeling things. felt good. second year, found out the boy was a jerk. got my heart broken, not broken, crushed, a hundred times, over and over. i would cry all day, told my mom i was just stressed cause of the exams. he mentally harassed me, would send me suicide threats, would threaten to come over. i couldn't do anything.
got up. studied hard. got involved with people. made friends. realized the things that made me happy. dreamed about my future. even though i never wanted to do engineering, i planned other things. music, art. accepted my relationship with my parents.
fucked up my first attempt, went numb for a few days. turned 18, and honestly i am terrified. i don't wanna grow up so fast. not so soon. i still haven't lived. i wanna dream more.
i still have all the things related to that boy in the corner of my cupboard. i don't plan on throwing them yet.

You can choose just physics bio and maths? Here it’s like pcm or PCB or pcmb or social studies or commerce. Yes.
So I have pcm—for jee (competitive exam for maths) and qualifying through JEE Mains and adv gets you to IIT
For bio we have NEET—yes. So NEET obv focus on bio and all so their physics moderation is relatively less—as for us, it’s like💀 but yes and so true. Academic validation>>>>
My maths wala sir likes me(I think) like def thinks I’m smart- because like always give answers jaldi and all<3
And I’ve not heard of it💀? And my nani ka place ka best imartis fr lmao like. It’s not the orange wala tho—I don’t like that, it’s tad bit diff from the usual kind? But what do I know waha pe kya hai
ooooooo that sounds really interesting lmfao but lowkey limiting idk is it just me? im pretty indecisive so im like so grateful my fam put me in a british curriculum school and our board give us freedom to choose between the subjects (as much freedom as they can lol bc at the end of the day we have to apply to unis with relevant subjects lol but yuh) i took bio maths and phy bc i wanna apply abroad and 3 subjects are enough and those subjects gave me freedom to choose whatever major i want (im still debating between neuroscience and comp sci)
i was deffo my bio sir's fav i think. my phy sir was lowkey a misogynist <\333
omgggg i will actually kidnap u and feed u nankhatais how can u not know them!!! they are like biscuits and they are so velvetyyyyy they literally melt on ur tongue like sooper biscuits idk if u tried those but yuh and they are like sweet but not like jalebi so its like a perfect mix!! u should look for them next time in a sweet shop u will deffo like it i promy 💞💞

Focus on building a strong conceptual foundation in each subject. Instead of rote memorization, strive to understand the underlying principles and theories. Practice solving problems from basic to advanced levels to reinforce your understanding and develop problem-solving skills.
Effective Time Management:
Time management is a critical aspect of exam preparation. Allocate time judiciously to cover all subjects and topics adequately. Break your study sessions into smaller intervals with short breaks to maintain focus and productivity. Identify your peak hours of concentration and schedule challenging tasks accordingly.

Surround yourself with peers who share similar goals and aspirations, fostering a competitive yet supportive environment.
Maintain a Healthy Lifestyle:
Amidst rigorous preparation, don't neglect your health and well-being. Ensure an adequate amount of sleep, nutritious diet, and regular exercise to stay physically and mentally fit. Manage stress effectively through relaxation techniques such as meditation, deep breathing, or pursuing hobbies and interests.
Stay Positive and Motivated:
Maintain a positive mindset throughout your preparation journey. Believe in your abilities and stay motivated, even in the face of challenges and setbacks. Celebrate small victories and milestones to boost your confidence and momentum. Visualize success and keep your eye on the ultimate goal of cracking the IIT JEE exam.

First post. No further elaboration. Coz why?
Just kidding. I am here to talk today....or to vent, more precisely.
JEE is hard. It's ridiculous. But what's even more ridiculous are the expectations, the burden of honor, and the fear of disappointment and despair ingrained into our values caused due to our inability to cope with the extraordinary expectations, after we get into the toppers group.
I worked hard to get into the 'good kids' group. Then I got demotivated after a single failure coz I'm fucking weak, and now am procrastinating.
"Plenty of people finished 11 and 12 in class 9 and 10. They only practice and take mock tests for the 2 years of secondary higher education. So if you don't atleast finish 12 within 11, you'll never crack JEE. And anything without IIT CSE is meaningless when you are in JEE." —Mom
"You can't even rank first in the small area that we live in? What are you gonna do in JEE where competition is at national level?" —Mom, after I scored 207/300 and ranked 6th at my local coaching centre in my first JEE Main Mock test with Kinematics, mole concept, periodic table, trigonometry as topics.
And the thing is, I can't even protest her words, after all, the 1st rank scored 264 and the 2nd rank scored 246. With such a huge difference, I can't even argue. Since more is expected from me as I am supposedly a kid who is wasting away my potential as a someone who can become a JEE top ranker.
"What? You only answered 252? You couldn't even answer 300? You know right how much your marks will be considering your poor 90% accuracy rate? It will go down to minimum of 220s. I am quite disappointed."
This is the 2nd mock test I am talking about, the result hasn't been declared yet. But this exam was said to be especially hard with the insanely tough maths section and mid hard chem questions. The 1st ranker dude from last time answered 230s this time, and the 2nd ranker answered 256. The 3rd ranker, who is actually one of the best prospect in our entire class 11 batch in the whole state, answered 284 but he's quite sad because apparently he will get a lot of negatives. I am expecting 3rd or 2nd rank this time but I think life's gonna gimme lemons as always.
This is what I go through as a JEE aspirant. It wasn't supposed to be this hard. It's toxic at this point. I am in a rat race that I can't even escape like in other countries, considering even self help opportunities such as working at fast food chains or something, for minors here are considered trash of the society. We aren't free here, we don't have the opportunity to experience the world and explore my options to find out what I am good at. There's only three options. Doctor, engineer, lawyer. This might sound funny because of the stereotype vids on YouTube about Asians. But it's not funny. Many of us can't handle the pressure and commit suicide. Kota, a city in Rajasthan known for being a hotspot of coaching centres, is also stereotyped for being the Indian version of Japan's suicide forest, except it's exclusively for kids. Others go to depression and fall into the abyss of gambling and drugs.
The education system here has lost it's purpose. It has become an elitist system where the only way of survival is either your own talent or your backing. If you don't have either, you're better off being a lowest ranking member of the society succumbing to the higher ranks.
1:46 AM in the morning, I am sitting here writing this post thinking if anybody could say something that would turn my life around. This is more of a silent cry for help instead of something new to share with the world. I am sitting here in vain thinking there might be some magic trick to success here when I deep down know there doesn't exist one. And thus, I fall into this deep rabbit hole, all in my know. I want to stop this spiraling vortex of abyss inside myself that is erasing my existence. But I'm not trying. It's as if I have been mentally and spiritually paralysed.
I have realised something as conclusion. Life is drowning in reality, but the hellish standards that we have here in India are the sandbags that are tied to our feet in this already suffocative water, with no end of depth, we keep drowning and going deeper and deeper. I'm not happy. I want to break out. But I can't. This is painful. I hope it stops. But again, I know it won't, resulting in only pushing myself deeper into the abyss because of my hope being shattered. Hope is becoming dangerous by the day for me.
Am I the only one?

Can I still crack JEE JAN 24? It is July now and i feel time slipping away
Listen, my friend, you can absolutely still rock JEE Mains in Jan if you give it your all now. You have realised that you need to put in more work, just in the nick of time. You can do it, remember to do these things:
Keep up with the topics being covered in your coaching classes/your entrance exam prep schedule as much as possible
Practise tons of questions. Especially JEE Mains archives. The archives of the past 3-4 years (2019 onwards) are essential.
You can have two types of practise sessions: Type 1 where you focus on each and every question and give them all as much time you need to complete them. (poora zor laga do sawal pe) Type 2 where you time yourself and give yourself 2-3 minutes max to attempt each question. (jaldi jaldi mein galati mat karna, okay?)
Make a schedule for each week/month/couple of days (whatever works for you). You have to give both your strong and weak topics their required attention. Focus on strengthening your weaker areas, without letting your strong topics slip.
Remember to take breaks please. You don't want your productivity suffering because you exhausted yourself and can't function anymore. Take care <3
Ask your doubts. Approach your teachers, your mentors, whoever can help you, to clear your doubts. Approach them even when you're feeling a little low, if you want to (I'm here for that too, but their support will be more consistent than mine for sure)
Focus on having a clear understanding of your concepts.
Revision. You need to periodically revise topics, even ones you think you're confident in. You'll need to factor this in your schedule too.
I know it seems like a lot. It can and will get overwhelming, which is why having someone or something that gets you the motivation to study can be a great help.
Making a schedule, deciding on what day you'll be covering what topic and what types of questions in the decided type of practise- you'll need to be consistent with this.
Listen, this is one of those times in life when the effort you put in will have some, maybe huge and maybe even minor, effect on the rest of your life.
You've got this, it's not too late.
Keep your focus and consistency on, alright?
PS I almost forgot yet another important thing: belief in yourself. Be a cheerleader to yourself. Good luck!

Cracking JEE: A Smart Study Plan for Success
Introduction
Cracking the JEE (Joint Entrance Examination) is a dream for many aspiring engineers in India, but only a strategic and well-planned approach can turn that dream into reality. With a vast syllabus and intense competition, a smart study plan is essential to maximize efficiency and achieve success. This blog outlines a step-by-step strategy to ace JEE while maintaining a balanced study routine.
Understand the exam pattern and syllabus
Before diving into preparation, aspirants must familiarize themselves with the JEE Main and JEE Advanced exam patterns.
JEE Main: Focuses on fundamental single concept questions with multiple-choice and numerical-based questions.
JEE Advanced: Involves a deeper understanding and application-based multi-concepts questions.
Aspirants should analyse the syllabus and identify high-weightage topics for Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics to prioritize their study schedule.
Create a realistic study plan
A structured study timetable helps maintain consistency. Here’s how to design an effective plan:
Divide the syllabus: Allocate time for each subject based on strengths and weaknesses.
Daily study routine: Dedicate 6-8 hours to studying daily, ensuring an equal focus on all subjects.
Revision slots: Include daily and weekly revision sessions to reinforce learning.
Mock Tests & analysis: Schedule regular practice tests to evaluate performance and improve time management.
Select the right study materials
Using the best resources ensures conceptual clarity and problem-solving efficiency. Essential study materials include:
Coaching institute smart material: Tailor-made for excelling in Entrance exams as well as Board exams.
NCERT Text Books for Organic & Inorganic Chemistry and Biology
Master Time Management and Consistency
Time management plays a crucial role in effective preparation. Tips to enhance productivity include:
Follow the short-break technique: Study in focused 1-2 hrs slots with short breaks.
Prioritize difficult topics first: Ensure a better grasp on challenging areas.
Avoid distractions: Maintain a distraction-free study environment.
Stay Motivated and Manage Stress
JEE preparation can be overwhelming, but staying motivated is crucial.
Set realistic goals: Break the syllabus into small, achievable milestones.
Healthy lifestyle: Ensure proper sleep, exercise, and a balanced diet. Some physical activities like playing a sport, running, Yoga-Pranayama-Meditation etc.
Seek guidance: Connect with mentors or seniors for motivation and strategy refinement.
Conclusion
Cracking JEE requires dedication, discipline, and a well-structured plan. By understanding the exam pattern, following a smart study strategy, practicing consistently and managing stress effectively, aspirants can enhance their chances of success. Remember, hard work combined with smart strategies leads to outstanding results.
