55. Of the characters you write for, which is your favorite? Has that choice been swayed at all by your followers/readers’ reactions to certain ones?

uhhhh right now. unsurprisingly. fig and gorgug and ayda. theyre just. so fun to write. i love to shove them into situations and see what happens. and not really?? most of what i write is what i want to write. the stories i wanna explore and the characters i wanna play with. sometimes i write for my close friends?? things theyve inspired me about and things i know they wanna read as gifts but by and large. my fics are for me and the people i love and everyone else who loves my writing is a beautiful gift !!!

68. What, if anything, do you do for inspiration?

read! i read a lot in general but also i go back and reread fics by other people that i love for inspo and i reread my own fic- both the one im working on and other things ive written- to help myself get into the writing words headspace!! sometimes if i'm really struggling with a character voice or dynamic, ill go back and rewatch/listen/read the source material for inspo, but that's less frequent bc i write so many aus kjsfbnsjbs

You got it! Truth be told, these could probably be just regular sksw headcanons too (and I so desperately wanted to answer this last night aaaaagg)

- Cloud got his nickname from both skyloft, and the texture of his hair. Mini said it felt like a cloud, and Cloud liked the skyloft reference, and the rest is history.

- Cloud has lightning scars all along his right arm of course, but he’s also got a scar from demise on his left that he got when his shield broke and he had to grab a new one. Sometimes it aches when he’s near monsters.

- He’s the second-oldest of the Links, with Era beating him out by a year or two. Despite this, he’s not the leader type at all stop looking at him like he knows what he’s doing guys please-

- You know the stamina wheel? Well Cloud doesn’t have asthma or anything like that but he did get really sick as a kid. Like really sick. It had some lasting effects one of which is making him get more tired easily. Plus it only adds to his sleepy nature.

- He adores remlits. Yeah they scratch or whatever but they’re so cute and the little squeaky meows they make make his heart melt. He gets to see cats while he’s on this journey too and loves them just as much if not more

Hi! I’ve got a couple questions: 1. How big is this game going to be when published, as in what’s your word count goal? 2. Will the demo be updated further? I checked in on this wip aaaaagges ago and I don’t know how far things have come. And last but not least is Prihine actually romanceable? It says she can be but she isn’t ever included in asks/scenarios reactions. But it’s really good work so good going! :D

Hi there, thanks for your questions! Have you checked the FAQ recently? :)

1) I don’t have a word count goal--it’ll be just whatever the game ends up being when the story is done, and I’m not aiming for anything in particular. As of right now, we’re about 1/3 of the way through Chapter 4 and we have about 250,000 words, so I’m guessing the game will be 700,000 to 800,000 words when it’s done, but I have no way of knowing for sure!

2) Yes, the demo will be updated further: the last update was in January 2020!

3) Prihine is romanceable in the sense that you can have a one-night-stand/momentary fling with her, which is why she isn’t usually included in the RO asks. You can probably end up with her if you don’t romance anyone else in the game--I dunno yet though, I haven’t written the endings--but I don’t really count her as a full RO, more like a secret side option!
