Do you have any Tri Force Heroes lore or tidbits you'd like to share with us? or even how any of your favorite details from that game may relate to Hue

I don’t have any screenshots handy but an interesting bit I noticed while playing through the game is something in the desert area.

So The Dunes as they’re called, are the desert world, mostly sand and old ruins that have a decidedly Egyptian influence. There’s lots of pyramids and stuff, a giant skeleton you have to fight and lots of mummies, and some markings on walls that I’m pretty sure don’t really mean anything.

BUT there’s also a particular marking that pops up a fair amount around the old temple and walls and stuff, and even on a wallmaster that appears in certain challenges.

This marking being a certain Sheikah eye and teardrop combination we’re all familiar with (with an extra egyptiany look).

So that begs the question, what were the Sheikah doing building pyramids and complicated doors and floors you can only see if fire is directly hitting it in the middle of the desert? In Hytopia of all places? How does that benefit Hyrule?

The only real explanation I can think of is that it was some sort of off-shoot of the regular Sheikah clan, that decided Hytopia would be a good place to hang out a little more removed from Hyrule proper and do secret ninja clan stuff that eventually morphed into a more Egyptian-esque culture.

The thing that finally gives me a reason to come into your ask box is Breath of the Sky, which I've had on my backlog for at least a month (and read instead of doing stuff due tonight jhfdhbfhdbsf) and I was hooked from start to finish. Seeing everyone on both sides trying to figure things out is fascinating, SS Zelda's jaw-dropping entrance lives in my head rent free, and the Skyward children quite literally breaking out of the castle to go exploring while the Calamity Era militia is in a frenzy trying to find them is illegally entertaining

Aksdjfjdks ahhh thank you!! I’m so happy you’re enjoying it so much! I really love this story, it’s just been on the back burner because fickle muse. But I’ve got a ton of scenes written for it, just need to have more than 12 hours of sanity break time in my life lol.

Hahaha I really enjoyed writing the dramatic breakout so I’m thrilled you loved it so much! And it’s so fun writing all the different perspectives so I’m glad people are enjoying that. :)

But I hope you have time to do the stuff that’s due tonight!!

OHHHHHH BOT HOWDY DO I LOVE THIS IDEA

Okay okay okay. So. Here’s what I’m thinking. And it’s not a whole lot because as much as I love the LU boys, I don’t know the ins-and-outs of their characters/adventures in loz canon. I’ve never even completed a game with Legend, Hyrule, Four, or Warriors in it and honestly I am ashamed.

But anyway, the first thing that came to my mind for this au is what Divine Beast everyone would pilot, so I’ll talk about that. 

Time: The Hero of Time’s Divine Beast is modeled after a horse and is located in the Great Hyrule Forest, very close to the Lost Woods region. Some say that faint melodies carry from it as it passes. 

Wind: Just off the coast of Lurelin Village, in the sea between Eventide and Cape Cresia, a great mechanical dolphin roams the waters. In order to find it, you must offer it the proper food and lure it to you. 

Twilight: The easy answer here is that Twi’s Divine Beast is a wolf. And you’d be right to assume that I’m going with the easy answer it’s totally not just because I selfishly think that a Divine Beast modeled after a wolf would be AWESOME. Nope. Anyway, it prowls the rocky hillsides near the Barula Plain, and often watches over Lake Hylia. 

Hyrule: The Lord of the Mountain isn’t the only wondrous beast who makes its home on the heights of Satori Mountain. The Divine Beast piloted by the Hero of Hyrule, a graceful deer, prances around that territory as well. 

Warriors: Have you ever seen a ram fight another ram? Those guys are relentless, facing anything head on. Piloting a Divine Beast modeled after a ram makes sense for the Hero of Warriors, and this great mechanical beast is found deep in the Akkala Wilds. 

Four: The Hero of the Four Sword is small, but cunning and quick. He pilots a Divine Beast that takes the shape of a fox, and moves swiftly through the Rowan Plain and the Aldor Foothills. 

Legend: Perhaps the hardest Divine Beast to locate, the Hero of Legend’s mechanical serpent is deep within the jungles of Faron. Some say it has a fondness for Lake Floria though, and has been seen as far south as the shore of Aris Beach. 

Sky: Unlike with Twilight, I am not going with the obvious for Sky. We already have a Divine Beast modeled after a bird in botw anyway, and I want to shake things up. The Hero of the Skies pilots a great mechanical dragon, the ultimate guardian from up above. It has been seen all over Hyrule, but descends through the clouds near the Breach of Demise in central Hyrule and ascends back up near the Spring of Power.

something i've been wondering on and off about Limbo (for like, 2 months) is the nature of wifi. Like, if your phone isn't connected to the wifi or data, it's called a "lost connection," so would being in Limbo with a working phone guarantee a wifi connection?

Oh, an excellent question!

Wifi! I bet you can use it, but only to reach defunct sites/lost data. (Internet historians would love it, haha)

A lost cell phone/data connection, though… THAT could theoretically work as expected in Limbo, but only if it’s reaching another (lost) phone also in that dimension. I’m sure there are lost cell satellites that would kinda allow a signal.

Ah no, nothing with the games. In the infamous explanation of how the four sword works in lu, Jojo mentioned a future line of dialogue from Four;

“…My opinions, my doubts, even my innermost feelings on things…The Four Sword puts all of it on full display…”

So yeah, that’s what that post was about. Just wondering who he’s saying it to, when he says it, etcetera :)
