i think i'd make it a 'jace and luc are biologically laenors' fic but also 'rhaenyra-harwin-laenor' poly relationship fic so harwin is still a big influence in their childhoods. Not that it changed much. the boys are just Like That.

obsessive and toxic relationships that have been cultivated into codependency over years Jace and Luc who are only sweet, loving, and all-around wonderful boys to their mother and their mother alone (laenor/harwin get the 'we are rough and vicious but in a playful way' treatment. so they can see through the shit, but can't do anything about it bc the dads love them, they love their dads) Luc with an obsession for making people bleed and ripping them apart Jace with a need to gut and main and mangle his opponents Possibly cannibal!jace and luc? or at the very least people think so Everyone calls Alicent paranoid and overprotective but she's right.

Jace and Luc who have this obsession with their uncles since they were young, and sure, when they were children it was almost sweet! The way Jace would let Aegon talk his ears off about the books he read, and the way Luc would follow Aemond around, doing all his favourite activities.

But if you looked closely, Jace was the one sweetalking and pushing and coaxing Aegon into opening up to him and him alone. And Luc, sweet Lucerys, would never let Aemond stay long enough to develop any true interest in anything other than their dragons, and it was Luc who would kick, and bite, scratch and maul anyone who dared to even come near them in the Dragonpit.

But Queen Alicent does not like how close Rhaenyra’s spawn are to her own dear sons. Not when she sees the younger boys snap and snarl at the idea of separation. Not when they push and shove at each other for even the most subtle of insults (subtle in the minds of children, at least.)

Not when Aegon and Aemond keep coming back to her chambers with stories of hatchling dragons with appetites that ache more for the animals blood than whatever meat it could provide.

But as they grow, the true colours of Jacaerys and Lucerys Velaryon start to show. And, yes, Allicent stopped fearing what Rhaenyra and Daemon would do to her children, but it was only because she was resigned to what was already done to them.

I think it’s all very accurate. They are all very jealous people (perhaps a result of their upbringing as future rulers?) and dragons are known to be possessive of the things they consider theirs. I’ve always thought that for Targaryens, their loved ones were like a dragon’s treasure, so it seems very plausible to me that our four fruity boys are extremely jealous over their partners.

I see him as a fat indolent miserable spoiled little brat. And he's particularly in a mood lately because Aemond isn't fucking him anymore because he thinks it's too gay, and he's trying to score with Helaena. But then there's Jace who's a nervous scared little virgin cuck whose only redeeming quality is that he has a horse cock. So Aeg wants some, and Jace is super into it cause Aegon's whole body basically feels like a titty, and the only ones he's actually seen before are his cousin's, and Aegon's are just as good if not better.

And Aegon has such low self esteem and mommy issues that he acts like a huge brat to get a reaction out of people, desperate for the kinky, gut wrenching sense of arousal he gets from feeling thoroughly humiliated. Aegon bitches Jace out so much the first few times because he's got a fucking hair trigger and keeps cumming too soon. (Side note there's definitely a time where all Jace wants to do is suck Aegon's tits and jerk off). But when Jace can finally hold it long enough to do something with it, he tries to get all masc and Dom like "Oh y-yeah. You like that don't you, you fucking whor-uh you s-slut!(?)" But he's completely missing and just fucking Aegon's thighs or just frotting between his cheeks. So Aegon fucking tears into him telling him how pathetic he is, and how that donkey dick is wasted on him, so Jace finally snaps and pops off and absolutely gives it to him, so much of that good good guy twisting humiliation Aegon is begging for, and he's finally satisfied. So Aegon needs to train Jace to keep doing that, and the only way he knows how is by being a fat spoiled bitch 🤤🥵🤤🥵
