This might be extremely niche but did anyone else read "Story Thieves" by James Riley? Because watching Across the Spiderverse, all I could think was that The Spot reminds me way too much of Nobody.

I know Fowen changed his clothes to match Owen before they switched bodies, but if he hadn’t then Owen would’ve been wearing Kiel’s clothes when he confronted and defeated nobody which would’ve been such a cool parallel to book 1 Owen who pretended to be Kiel because he felt like he couldn’t be a hero or save anyone if he was just himself. It would’ve been like coming full circle. Owen realizes he can be a hero by being himself but with a nod to where he started.
