A week or so into the new year, it feels like the world is ending…
Everyone is pretending that the days they’re running towards are not already behind them.
Yesterday lures me to it but i can only catch up tomorrow’s that have lost their meaning when I lost my motive to be
The bitter aftertaste of all the memories i dragged with me became as sweet as my delusions and i can’t help but run after it in episodes of hysteria.
Trying to break free from a routine only to be locked in a new one.
And it enrages me…
I’ve been locked up all my life following rules that were set up by someone who doesn’t understand how my body works !
I’ve been reflecting on all that I learned on existing, enduring…
I never realized I’ve learned a lot throughout the years, too focused on surviving
Somehow I learned to wake up to the vibration of the alarm, no sound needed.
to listen to my lectures with the playback speed ×2 cause I don't have time, I never do.
To drink coffee that taste more acidic than the acid in my stomach, and enjoy it at times.
To write more than i can understand and understand more than i can ever write down.
To prepare meals for days at end; knowing that otherwise no other option will be on my table.
I learned to talk with thousands of voices overlapping mine and make my point clear when no one even care!
To smile and nod and throw thank yous
because i should.
To remind my people that I love them
That I'm there, when in reality I'm never by there side.
Even when my soul is more theirs than it is in mine, especially when they need it.
I learned to walk faster even when all I want is to fade into the background
To sleep less even when it's my only escape and i crave it more than chocolate.
To search for comfort in the least expected places, as if we're both playing hide and seek.. And the moment i find it the game is over and i hate myself for ending it.
Yet I swallow down my sorrow in order to comfort myself like I'd do a stray kitten
Knowing very well if I didn't No one will
I learned to be smarter
TRY HARDER
Be more do more
stand straight, never shake
To tear myself apart
and withstand all the gore
To stay still even when I'm so tired !
I'm so, so tired...

Working-class waitress Slim thought she was entering a life of domestic bliss when she married Mitch, the man of her dreams. After the arrival of their first child, her picture perfect life is shattered when she discovers Mitch’s hidden possessive dark side, a controlling and abusive alter ego that can turn trust, love and tranquility into terror. Terrified for her child’s safety, Slim flees with her daughter. Relentless in his pursuit and enlisting the aid of lethal henchmen, Mitch continually stalks the prey that was once his family.

Andre Gonzales: Good movie. Love to see a woman take a position of power against her attacker. Even when that attacker is her husband.
