To the person on Pinterest that reposted my Danny Johnson x Jane Anderson (my oc) art and just straight up lied it was fnaf art for clicks. I’m still kinda mad at you. For a couple reasons (and not the fnaf reasons I love fnaf)
1- Reposting is obviously not cool. But if you’re gonna do it. At least credit me.
2- Jane is my baaaaby I love her so so much. And just saying like she’s another character like peeved me off.
So I’m gonna take this time to talk about Jane and Danny. Because I love them.
Jane Anderson is a reporter at the local newspaper at one of the towns Danny decides to lay low in. They meet as he masquerades as Jed, working together on articles and becoming late night diner patrons.
Jane loves true crime and find most horror movies to be cheesey and corny. And often can be found curled up on the couch in her pjs, eating ice cream, and watching late night news. The Ghostface being the most fascinating to her.
She meets the Ghostface, well face to face when he kills her shitty abusive boyfriend. From there she is even more intrigued by him, and also begins to date Jed. It’s a whirlwind from there.
If you want to know more about them feel free to ask!

sara ahmed about the movie if these walls could talk 2 (dir. jane anderson, 2000):
[...] when she asks the hospital staff to see abby they say, “only family are allowed.” she is excluded from the sphere of intimates. she is a nonrelative, or not-family. the nurse asks, “is she any relation of yours, madam?” she replies, “i’m a friend, a very good friend.” they respond only with another question, “does she have any family?” the friend disappears in the weight of the address. the recognotion of family ties as the only ties that are binding means abby dies alone; it means edith waits all night, alone.
their relationship is hidden as friendship, while friendship itself becomes produced as a lesser tie, less binding, another kind of fragile.
—living a feminist life, sara ahmed.
