Mr. Yoon was the first Korean Phantom. He was the only principal Phantom at the 1st POTO Korea production(김장섭[Kim/Gim Jang-sub]was an alternate Phantom).

He did Phantom again in the 2nd POTO Korea production.(With another Phantom, 양준모[Yang Joon-mo]. + Later 홍광호[Hong Kwang-ho], who had played Raoul, became Phantom too.)

He also did 'Gérard Carrière(Phantom's father and the previous head of the Paris Opera)' at Kopit & Yeston's musical 'Phantom'.(3rd and 4th Korea productions.)

The Disney+ original series ‘Moving’ has come to an end with its 20th episode, delivering a satisfying conclusion for the characters and the viewers. ‘Moving’ Episode 20: The Final Battle

Mi Hyun was in danger of being killed by Joon Hwa, but her son Kim Bong Seok (Lee Jung Ha) came to her rescue and fought against him. However, Mi Hyun wanted Bong Seok to run away, knowing that the North Korean troop leader Kim Deok Yoon (Park Hee Soon) was aiming a gun at him. Fortunately, Bong Seok was saved by Jeon Gye Do (Cha Tae Hyun), who used his electromagnetic power to kill Joon Hwa. Deok Yoon then tried to escape with the files that contained the secrets of the superpowered people, but he was chased by Jang Joo Won (Ryu Seung Ryong) and Lee Jae Man (Kim Sung Kyun) to the rooftop.

Deok Yoon also confessed that he was the one who killed Jae Man’s father 50 years ago, when he was part of a secret mission to capture the superpowered people. Deok Yoon then tried to jump off the building with the files, but he was stopped by Joo Won, who grabbed his arm. Jae Man then shot Deok Yoon in the chest, causing him to fall. Joo Won managed to hold on to the files and pulled himself up.

The Aftermath

Jang Hee Soo (Go Youn Jung) and Lee Kang Hoon (Kim Do Hoon) graduated from high school with their parents’ attendance, except for Bong Seok and Mi Hyun, who had gone into hiding since the incident. Joo Won continued his chicken business with Kwon Young Deuk (Park Gwang Jae), a former North Korean soldier who became his assistant. Hee Soo entered the university’s physical education department and became friends with Shin Hye Won (Shim Dal Gi), a girl who had super speed. Kang Hoon visited Mr. Min (Moon Sung Geun), the head of the NIS, and expressed his desire to join the agency with one condition: to clear his father’s name from criminal records. Mr. Min agreed and revealed that Kang Hoon’s father was actually a hero who sacrificed himself to protect the superpowered people from Frank.

Bong Seok and Mi Hyun left town and lived a peaceful life in a rural area. They occasionally received letters from Hee Soo and Kang Hoon, who updated them on their lives. Hee Soo also told them about a superhero wearing a yellow cape who appeared in Seoul and saved people from danger. In the last scene, it was revealed that the superhero was Kim Doo Shik (Zo In Sung), Bong Seok’s father and Mi Hyun’s husband, who had been held captive by Frank for 50 years. He managed to escape with the help of Park Il Chan (Jo Bok Rae), a North Korean soldier who sympathized with him. Inspirador, impactante, adictivo, reflexivo, entretenido, motivador. ¡¡Lo vería mil y un veces!

Empecé viendo este kdrama sin ver ningún spoiler y sin releer la sinopsis para permitirme sorprender y vaya que lo hizo.

Itaewon Class es el kdrama del que todos hablaron en el 2020 y creí sobrevalorado, pero no me arrepiento de no haberlo visto antes y ahora leerán el por qué. La mayoría afirma que es una kdrama muy bueno y lo recomiendan por su historia inspiradora; de tantas veces que leí lo mismo sobre Itaewon Class, llegué a pensar que estaba sobrevalorado, pero también pensé que algo bueno debía de tener para que mucha gente lo amara tanto. “Inspirador” fue la palabra clave que me hizo esperar para verlo. Sí de verdad cumplía lo que comprometía, quería guardar este kdrama en mi watchlist para verlo cuando más lo necesitara. Ese momento fue a inicios de enero y fue la mejor decisión de enero, eso puedo afirmarlo. 

¿Las actuaciones? Brillantes.

¿Los personajes? Fantásticos.

¿La historia? Adictiva.

¿El mensaje? Inspirador.

¿El guión? Majestuoso.

Lo que más me sorprendió fueron los protagonistas, tanto la protagonista femenina como el protagonista masculino. Ambos fueron los personajes más complejos y mejor desarrollados de la historia. Jo Yi Seo es especialmente distinta a cualquier otra heroína a la que estamos acostumbrados. Es sarcástica, fuerte y presuntamente sociópata. Un personaje muy refrescante.

Park Sae Ro Yi es un personaje persistente, tenaz, con convicción y siempre fiel a sus ideales. Un personaje de lo más admirable con el que logras empatizar desde el inicio y no puedes evitar sino desear lo mejor por él hasta el final.

Personalmente me encantó la química entre Park Seo Joon (Park Sae Yo Ri) y Kim Da Mi (Jo Yi Seo). Era mi pareja preferida y de verdad quería que se quedaran juntos, y dado que no había leído ningún spoiler realmente no sabía con quien iba a terminar Sae Yo Ri. Creo que lo que dijo Yi Seo al final realmente tiene sentido, tienen un carácter muy diferente pero tienen una cosa en común, no conocen la calidez de las personas. Ambos se aman mucho, lo demuestran con palabras, lo demuestran con acciones, lo sienten con todo su corazón, pero no son ni serán la típica pareja que actúa cariñosa todo el tiempo. Están en modo de negocios cuando están en el trabajo y en modo pareja cuando salen.

Un excelente bonus que le añade valor a la historia es la inclusión de un personaje de color y un personaje trans. Estos personajes también tuvieron sus momentos y de igual manera entregaron un bonito mensaje con sus historias. 

Algo que me encantó infinitamente, fue el OST. Cada canción queda perfecta con la escena. Menciones especiales a Start Over de Gaho (motivadora) y a Sweet Night de V (consoladora). Absolutamente fascinantes canciones.

Si están buscando una historia impactante, entretenida, motivadora e inspiradora, Itaewon Class es EL kdrama.

for whatever reason, i feel for him.

yes. he was an absolute dick the whole show. he did horrible things. he caused pain that no person should have to go through, and he barely showed any sense of remorse.

do i blame his father? yes, his father raised him to be like this. his father taught him to treat everyone else like lowly presences, his father encouraged him to do it all for the money and the company, his father told him not to be guilty about stepping on others for his own sake. his father also constantly told him he was worthless and useless to the company and couldn't make decisions. but can i blame director jang when, at moments throughout the show, i felt for him as well?

the horrible life of both of them, each who learned to survive by stepping on others. i'm lamenting at this point.

despite geun-won literally triggering my fight or flight reflex, some piece of me couldn't hold a grudge against him like saeroyi did. and i understand saeroyi's reasoning obviously, but i just

that one scene? where geun-won is sent to dinner with the owner of a company's daughter, and we realize how few social skills he has, and how-

i can't even say it.

and how he said he doesn't like to eat chicken.

like that scene, near the beginning of the show, where director jang made him murder a chicken with his own two hands. a lonely, confused, seventeen year old bully who was scared of killing a chicken. the experience of twisting its neck, hearing its scream. seeing its blood on his hands.

his "date" of course wonders wtf the chairman of a food company's son is doing hating chicken, while he continues to make a conversational fool of himself.

he can't eat chicken.

I DON'T KNOW WHY THIS FACT ABSOLUTELY CRUSHES MY HEART. but it's not all his fault. yes, he should take responsibility for what he's done instead of having his dad solve all the problems for the company's image, but it's simply how he's learned to live.

twisted, cruel defense mechanisms. a lack of sympathy. an assumtion that everything will go his way because he was born into a wealthy family. brutal threats sent to enemies in the belief that nothing can touch him, and when it finally does, and his whole world falls apart before his own eyes,

what would he do?

how does someone come back from that?

i guess the show didn't have time for his character development. they spent a lot of time on yi-seo and saeroyi's ✨blossoming romance✨, and not enough on the man who was never loved.

he must be in so much pain. and never having been taught how to deal with it, he takes it out on others.

it reminds me of how, the first time i paid attention to the lyrics of one of the songs from the ost, "still fighting it," the song goes "and you're so much like me" and for whatever reason even though it's written from a different perspective i thought of it as a comparison of saeyori and geun-won. but saeyori paid for what he did at the beginning, and learned how to better control his emotions because he knew from his father's training that living was going to be hard work and he needed to learn how to be responsible. meanwhile, geun-won was never taught how to be responsible or even how to apologize. he grew up abusing his brother and having his father take care of all the trouble he caused. having his faults ignored because he was the son of an important man. they weren't so different, but saeroyi learned how to live better.

i am in so much pain and this has not helped a bit because i still have so much to say but i have to go study
