My Favorite Minecraft Building Mod

Out of all the Minecraft building mods out there, this is 100% my all time favorite. I use it in every modded playthrough now. It introduces tons of block variations, new uses for often overlooked or useless blocks, and even different designs for glazed terracotta.

I mean just look at those stone blocks variations, and even the amethyst. One of my partner and I's inside jokes when playing this mod is man, Chipped really got to everything, and we mean it. There are now tens of block variations to crying obsidian, gilded blackstone, leaves, logs, planks, pumpkins, lanterns, doors, trapdoors, mushroom blocks, and more.

You might find your new favorite Minecraft block. I know my partner did.

: ̗̀➛ more of my windmill, now at night :)! as you can see, in the background of the third picture — the roof of the barn has started oxidising! just in case you wanted to know how long this windmill took me to complete. so excited to show you all the finished barn as the world slowly comes together. i've also collected all the books that i need to build an enchanting set up, so i'm excited to get to that next. i'm thinking of building a gazebo atop a pond (or just an open air platform at the centre of a pond), just off lilyport (the village) — there's a little divot just to the side of the village that's inspiring me so much right now :)

I got a new computer!

I named it Blåhaj.

It came from a company named something with shark. So naturally I had to name it Blåhaj. Since I am trans and nonbinary there was no other way.

This is the wallpaper I made for it. Priorities, ammirite?

And now I have decided to try playing minecraft java, in order to play with some of my friends on a private server.

What do we think? Generated some custom terrain. The inside of the castle isn't done yet but the outside is looking pretty good, may have some tweaks to make there though.

Guys I got java and decided to make a skin and the free creator I'm using to make it has a thing to decorate the inside of the skin (at least i think thatd what im doing lmao) and it's SO fun, I'm adding gore (red for flesh + white for bones)

My mod pack includes Super Mario Craft which retextures all of vanilla Minecraft. As I add mods, these need to be brought in line with this unified style. Here is a peek at what that process looks like.

The mod which adds Dreamstone from Mario & Luigi Dream Team also adds some new tiers of items. This dirt pickaxe, which is hilarious, has a placeholder texture:

I start by adding it to my resource pack, then opening it in Photopea:

Using an existing pickaxe as a base, it's a simple recolor job:

Dark brown makes the most sense, but I found it hard to distinguish from the wooden pickaxe at a glance. I settled on a similar olive green as the placeholder texture.

And that's it! Then to repeat the process several times for other tools. Most updates to the pack include more texture replacements.
