Despite wearing headphones and the blasting sound from the game she was playing right now, Dahyun could hear someone opening her room. As she turned her head to the door, a big smile appeared on her face when she saw her girlfriend walking inside.

“sorry guys, one second” Dahyun said quickly, paused her game and turned off her facecam and microphone. “Jeongyeon unnie!”

Jeongyeon chuckled a bit seeing Dahyun there with her arms wide open like a little kid. She walked up to her and accepted her girlfriend's demand to hug and lifting her up.

“how was work, unnie?” asked Dahyun, looping her hands around the older girl’s waist.

“normal as always, nothing special” Jeongyeon shrugged her shoulders. “why you paused your stream? I was just wanted to check you here” 

“and I just missed my girlfriend” Dahyun grinned, scrunching her nose.

It made Jeongyeon laugh and shake her head. “haha, I’m gonna take a shower and then make dinner for us, you can go back to your stream”

“thank you unnie. I almost finished with my stream, I will join and help you cook you later”

“okay, enjoy your stream, babe” Jeongyeon kissed Dahyun’s right cheek before pulling back her body from the hug and walked outside the room.

Dahyun plopped back in her gaming chair, wore her headphones, and turned the face cam back on. “okay guys, I’m back”

She frowned in confusion when she saw at her monitor. The comment section was going wild, stacking and piling up like crazy. But when she read several of those comments, her eyes went wide as she gasped loudly.

“d-did I forgot to turn the microphone off!?!?” Dahyun checked and it’s true that her microphone is still on. And that means, all of her viewers heard their conversation earlier.

“aww you two are so cute~”

“let me see! I want to see your girlfriend!”

“paused the stream just to see your girlfriend? I don't know you are that whipped ahaha”

“y-yah stop teasing me” Dahyun whined, she could feel her cheeks warm and probably red now as she read all those teasing comments. She cursed at herself why being so stupid and now her viewers won’t stop teasing her for the next straight week.

DH. as a romance writer with very little romantic experience myself, i more often than not turn to my surroundings for inspiration—people i know, strangers i walk past on the streets, the works of other creative artists be it art, movies, books, songs, or poems. or sometimes, it can be as simple as observing the scenery around me. the season of spring is often associated with love and romance, but autumn is one of my biggest sources of inspiration for my stories. even as flowers wilt and leaves fall, true love remains strong and prevails through it all

DH. i like imagining my protagonist and their love interest holding hands while strolling under a canopy of yellow-orange trees, with dried fallen leaves crunching beneath their shoes and a gentle breeze blowing by. i wonder what it would feel like to experience something like that first hand . . . ah, i guess i’m rambling again– anyways, now that the leaves have fully changed color, i spent halloween out with jeongyeon-unnie to both inspire myself and to admire the beauty of fall

JY. we walked around the city to see how familiar streets have changed with autumn’s pop of color, then drove out to the mountains to check out a birch forest. it appears a lot less colorful there compared to the city but the view was actually breathtaking, pictures can’t do it justice. i would love to come here more often if the drive up didn’t almost make me car sick. but it always feels so nice to get away from urban life and surround myself with nature from time to time. free of zooming vehicles and bustling crowds. maybe we will come back with the rest of the girls next time

I need to explore Jeongdae more. This kid really had rest in peace written on his main gun, and colorful string wrapped around it. What kind of guy keeps a message like that on his gun? Seems to me like he’s always shooting to kill.

In some scenes he seems so innocent and out of place but it seems like he uses his looks to his advantage. He looks unthreatening but he’s got an arsenal of equipment, manages the team’s operations, can go in guns blazing and take down anyone and doesn’t mind hitting police with a van if he needs to. Yet Jinyoung calls him innocent cause he likes animals and has a pet Lizard.

So how did Jeongdae join the black team? What is his relationship like with the rest of the team members. They work together so well but they’re not above putting each other in their place.

I just have so many thoughts about this fascinating character. Honestly Jeongdae seems a bit crazy in a good way, maybe a bit of trauma made him this way. I just want to know so I’ll probably try to write it. I want to write a few things.

Jeongdae has rip written on his gun??

He does!

There’s a couple different versions of his guns. One says “Thank you!!/R.I.P” (and appears to be signed ‘Jinyoung’ — so this could just be a signed prop and not necessarily specifically a character detail).

Another one is signed “JD” (Jeongdae) and has stickers on it.

Then the one on the official poster says “Rest in Peace” with stickers and what look like ribbons wrapped around it.

They included enough of these quirky details in his character (along with giving him a lizard sidekick) that it makes me mourn the fact that we actually get to learn so little about him in the movie. He has all these little details built into his character but we just…don’t get to see it.

that's quite.... unusual

but i guess jeongyeon would be very quiet and respectful towards the pale lady that's been sitting next to the door at least four nights a week for the last two months.

she cries, and ends a bottle of whisky like it's water sometimes, always going home only when they start preparing to close the bar. jeongyeon is surely worried, watching the woman from afar, but she forces herself to mind her own business.

it's not until the third month that the first conversation happens, and it's more of jeongyeon heatedly explaining that she can't let the woman drive if she's drunk.

"look, what's your name?", jeongyeon asks, hurrying to hold the lady's arm when she trips and almost falls. it's late, and they're almost in the middle of the street, the bar's neon sign iluminating their faces with colorful lights.

"da-," she hiccups, and laughs, trying to reach for her carkeys on jeongyeon's hand, "hyun. i'm not drunk, that's b-," another hiccup, "bullshit".

"you can't even walk straight", jeongyeon points, sighing. it's not the first time she has to deal with drunk customers, but there's something about this girl, the way her hand is tight on jeongyeon's jacket, the way her smile doesn't reach her eyes. she's intriguing.

"of course i can", dahyun says, "i can even do the four, if you want me to", she reaches for the keys again, jeongyeon simply holding her arm up. dahyun is tiny next to her, and it's barely an effort.

"if you lift four fingers, i'll feed you to the sharks", jeongyeon is holding dahyun by the waist now, to try and stop her from jumping on top of her for the damn keys. "dahyun, listen," she tightens her grip, "i know we barely know each other..."

dahyun laughs at that, hiccuping three more times in between before she speaks, "i know you. you stare at me a lot."

jeongyeon blushes, but she's not really embarassed at that. dahyun is pretty. "do you think it'd be okay if i took you home? it's almost 5am, there's no way i'm letting you on a cab"

dahyun wonders, but by the way she clingles to jeongyeon even more, dizzying the taller girl, it's a yes.

not after a quick swap of her fingers on her phone is jeongyeon helping dahyun inside her own car, making sure to put on her seatbelt, gasping out a surpised sound as she feels hands cupping her cheeks and a chaste kiss being pressed to her lips.

"thank-", hiccup, "you", dahyun smiles, eyes teary, and jeongyeon only nods at she takes the driver's seat.
