"Jimin, love." Jungkook coos softly into his husband's ear, "You need to wake up now." He rests a hand gently against the sleeping dancer's shoulder, shaking lightly.

He hates to wake Jimin. Since the early weeks of the pregnancy, Jimin has lost days worth of sleep to morning sickness. It's like clockwork, starting before the sun comes up and continuing until the early afternoon on most days, into the evening on bad days.

According to the pregnant dancer, the pain is unbearable. Like a rock that hits him first thing in the morning, then keeps playing paddle ball with his stomach all morning long. Jungkook knows it's bad if Jimin's complaining. He's always known the petite blonde to be a suffer-in-silence kind of man. But now he's suffering, loudly, for hours on end. But it might just be the raging hormones.

Their doctor has finally been able to prescribe something to help Jimin sleep. It does little to help the nausea or the cramps or the stabbing feeling in his gut. But it knocks him out enough to fall back to sleep between episodes of painful vomiting. Jimin's been on the medicine for three days so far and it's the best naps he's gotten in weeks. So Jungkook hates to wake him. But the managers are waiting.

"Minnie, please," Jungkook pleads when he previous attempt only got him a garbled hum. "I know you're tired, Jagi. But we need to go to the company. They called an urgent meeting." He explains, hoping it will help pull the older out of bed.

"But I'm sick," Jimin whines, pulling covers tighter around himself. In his defense, he was awake at two o'clock vomiting the remains of the fancy dinner Jungkook treated him to. He remembered how delicious it was to eat, and how grotesque it was coming up. He was suffering through it until 6, when his stomach finally settled and he managed to get back to sleep. "I can't work when I'm sick."

Jungkook startles at that. Jimin never admits to being sick. He presses a hand to Jimin's forehead. He fears maybe Jimin's developed food poisoning on top of the morning sickness. Or maybe he caught a bug. Or maybe there's something wrong with the baby. But there's no fever to be found. "Where are you feeling sick, hyung?"

Jimin lowers the covers to just below his waist. He presses a finger into the soft middle that has become the protruding bump where he's growing another human life. He pouts looking up at Jungkook and the younger man knows Jimin just means he's still writhing from the previous bout of morning sickness, as usual. He's not sure how many times he's going to fall for that. So he just rubs Jimin's bump and presses a few kisses to the stretched skin that's protecting his child.

He loves the kisses and attention. Jimin basks in it while he wakes up. "Do we really have to go?" The dancer asks. It's not even 8 yet. He hasn't had a schedule before 2 pm since he briefed the company of the pregnancy. They have been so accommodating and understanding about the circumstances and reworked Jimin's schedule so he wouldn't be feeling too sick during work. So he wonders why they suddenly scheduled a meeting so early.

"I asked Namjoon-hyung the same thing when he called," Jungkook confesses, drumming his fingertips to a familiar beat against Jimin's belly. "He said you're the one who has to be there the most."

This catches Jimin's attention, and not in a good way. Now he's scared, terrified of what the meeting might be. Are they looking to make a formal announcement? Are they pulling the plug on his solo work? Are they kicking him out of the group because he's pregnant? Thousands of scenarios flow through his head, none of them pleasant.

Jungkook senses the sudden shift in Jimin's anxiety levels. He can see the fear in Jimin's eyes. "Relax, Minnie. Namjoon didn't sound too serious on the phone. I'm sure it's not something bad." Despite the need for them both to get out of bed, Jungkook scoots himself against Jimin and holds him. He cards delicate fingers through Jimin's knotted hair. Jungkook allows Jimin 15 more minutes to cuddle before forcing him to get up. If anyone at the company asks why they're late, they'll blame it on the morning sickness.

They are the final members to stroll into the conference room, but Jimin looks like hell so no one questions them. It's been a while since anyone besides Jungkook has seen him in the early morning hours. The managers start to feel bad for calling him in, but they had no other choice. So they get things started.

One of the managers starts talking, apologizing profusely for the short notice and explaining that they were just recently informed themselves. Another joins the conversation explaining that they are still working things out but they need the artist's agreement to move forward, given the circumstances. The disorganized ramblings go on for too long. Jimin's stomach is starting to hurt again. He rubs it under his sweatshirt.

"A live broadcasted interview?" Yoongi sums up the long, rambled explanations of the managers in just four words.

"Yes," a manager confirms, "broadcasting from New York."

Jungkook tries to recall the time difference. Based on the expressions on the other members' faces, they're doing the same. "What time?" He asks.

"The show airs at 9 PM Eastern Time."

"So 10 AM here," Namjoon clarifies. The managers nod.

"We can't," Jungkook interjects immediately, "Jimin-hyung…" the maknae squeezes Jimin’s shoulder. He’s been there for every episode of morning sickness, supporting his husband. He knows how violently ill Jimin gets every morning. He knows how quickly it starts. He knows how long it lasts. There's no way Jimin can sit through an interview.

"Which is why we wanted to meet with you all before confirming a date." A manager responds. "We were tossing around the idea of having Jimin-ssi sit out the interview. There has been no formal notice regarding the pregnancy, so we could just issue a standard leave notice before the interview."

"But that might lead to scandals or rumors." Hoseok reminds. "Why not just announce the pregnancy early?"

Jimin's offended by the question, by the whole conversation really, but Hoseok's question gets under his skin. He understands his relationship with Jungkook has always been a nuisance to the band, moreso now than ever before. But Jimin's starting to feel like he doesn't have control over any of his choices. "We agreed to announce at the second trimester." He remarks with a sharp glare to Hoseok, "I want to stick with that plan." He then looks at Jungkook. "And I want to do the interview. No matter what time it is."

Jimin gets his way. He usually does.

He manages to convince them that he can make it through. He promises to eat light meals leading up to the day. He swears he will drink ginger teas to settle him. He talk about a dozen other tips and tricks he'll try to prevent him from getting sick on stage. And they all believe him.

The morning of the interview, Jimin only threw up once. It makes Jungkook feel more at ease about Jimin partaking in the interview. He knows how much Jimin has been trying to suppress his morning sickness. He's been diligent in taking his medications and minding his meals. Jungkook actually believes they will pull it off.

It isn't until they start fixing his hair and make up that he starts to feel the weight of nausea settle in his stomach. Being tossed around from hair stylists, to wardrobe stylists to make up stylists make him feel like his stomach is in a pinball machine. But it's too late to back out now. So he swallows it down and devises a plan to get through the interview.

Things start off well. Since it’s a foreign interview, Namjoon carries most of the conversation. The rest of them throw in overly rehearsed bits and random English words from time to time. But when they are asked a question, they usually just whisper something in Korean and Namjoon translates.

Jimin participates with mostly giggles and small gestures. It’s not uncommon or out of character for him though. It's no secret that his English is among the weakest out of the other members. Achieving global fame has been hard for him in that respect. But for the first time ever, he’s thankful that English doesn't come easy for him. Because he really feels like if he opens his mouth to speak, he’ll likely puke on set. Right on Hoseok's back based on their seat arrangements. And that would be a whole different disaster itself.

So he keeps his composure like he's been trained to do. He takes turns smiling into the lenses of the five cameras oriented at the members. There’s a nervous sweat building against his brow and he can feel the droplets sliding down his cheeks. Subtly, he leans over to squeeze Jungkook’s thigh for comfort whenever he can. They agreed before going on set that a thigh squeeze implies the threat of morning sickness.

Jungkook registers it immediately, returning from his previously zoned out state. He glances quickly at Jimin and watched the pregnant man swallow heavily. The maknae tries to get Namjoon's attention, but the leader is too busy speaking on all of their behalf. He's in leader-brain right now. He doesn't recognize the individual concerns, only seeing the group as a unit.

Jungkook shoots Jimin a look of sympathy and grabs the dancer's hand with a tight squeeze. Jimin never has much luck holding back the morning sickness, but Jungkook watches and Jimin takes deep breaths. Jimin's eyes are fixed to the clock on the wall behind the crew, watching the seconds tick by ever so slowly.

The host announces a commercial break and the director in the studio calls a cut. As soon as the word leaves the director's mouth, Jimin jumps out of his seat and runs toward the nearest bathroom.

But he only makes it as far as the edge of the set before he bends deep at the waist and vomits up the tea he drank before the shoot. It's violent and sour, a growing puddle of liquid around all the camera equipment. He's ashamed, but still in the throws of sickness and unable to move. His stomach isn't going to let him run away, he's in too much pain. Instead, he collapses to his knees, landing in his own sick and heaves another violent torrent of stomach contents. This time he spews a thicker stream, bringing up remnants of last night's dinner. He sputters around the lingering chunks and cringes at the acidic aftertaste.

Jungkook reacts as soon as he hears the splash of liquid against the tiled floor. He's out of his seat and by Jimin's side despite the disgruntled protests from the staff. The break won't last too long. Only a few minutes. They know that one member missing is easy to explain. But two members suddenly leaving the interview in the same brief period becomes a bit of a scandal. But Jungkook will gladly take another lecture on professionalism and decorum if it means he can be present to support his husband. Eventually, the crew backs down. It quickly becomes abundantly clear that Jungkook won't listen to them.

Jimin’s upset, tears mixing in with the brown puddle below him. He did everything right. He drank the tea for nausea. He made sure to eat only light and bland foods, supressing his sugary cravings. He took all of his vitamins and even sucked on those disgusting ginger candies. But he still ended up getting sick anyway. "It's not fair," he whines. He said he could do it. He promised the members he wouldn't be a hindrance to them. But he feels so sick. "I want to finish the interview." The effort of crying forces another wave of vomit out of him. "It isn't fair," he sniffles.

Everyone is watching. The other five members sympathize with him from their places on the set. The crew stand dumbfounded, knowing there isn't much time before they have to get back on air. The sound operators disconnect Jimin's and Jungkook's mic packs from the audio equipment. They don't want to rush Jimin off the set when he's clearly so unwell, but they also don't want to risk the mic picking up Jimin's cries, or worse, another gagging heave.

Jungkook seems to have the same idea. He carefully pulls Jimin closer to him, unclipping the mic from the older man's collar and tossing the pack to the side. He flicks his off for the time being. "Oh, Jiminie." He consoles, rubbing Jimin's back as he hiccups and sniffles. "I'm sorry you're sick. I know you did everything you could. We all do." The maknae presses a kiss to Jimin's salty cheeks. "It's totally normal at this stage of the pregnancy, right? It's not a reflection of you. It happens to everyone."

"You should go back to the interview," Jimin suggests, though the way he snuggles further into Jungkook's side sends a different message. "I ruined everything. You need to get back."

"You didn't ruin anything, love. You shouldn't worry about it. We all knew the risks of accepting this interview. We knew what it meant for you. We should all be sorry to you for making you be here." Jungkook has to pull back. He was against Jimin doing the interview from the start. He knew something like this would happen. But he also knows Jimin's not the type to sit things out. They should have put their foot down and not accepted the invitation.

The camera's point back to the set and they can hear the host's voice as he counts only five members on his screen. "Jungkook, they need you. Go back." Jimin gags, pulling away from Jungkook. The maknae has managed to avoid getting any vomit on him so far. Jimin wants to keep it that way.

"Not a chance," Jungkook easily lifts Jimin and walks him far off the set. He spares a glance back at Namjoon, who's speaking in quick English to pick up the interview and finding some professional way to explain their absence. He sets Jimin on the leather couch and pulls a waste bin over for Jimin to finish into.

Jimin gags a few more times before his stomach finds contents to rid. And even when he's empty, his body wrings him out with a series of painful dry heaves. It takes everything out of him. He rests his hand on his belly and rubs with light pressure. The cramps make it impossible to move. And no amount of forced bravado can wipe the grimace off his face. But this episode is finally over, and all Jimin can think about is sleep.

"Go," Jimin whispers as his eyes slip shut. He tries to make himself more comfortable, but that proves impossible. So he settles for not moving at all. Once Jungkook is certain that Jimin's asleep, he returns to the set. He glides past several infuriated staff members and reclaims his seat behind Namjoon. His reappearance does not go unnoticed and the host asks him what happened. When Namjoon translates, Jungkook smirks and responds "family emergency" in English.

He puts a finger over his lips to signify that it's a secret. At least for a few more weeks.

Are you sure?! Episode 6 - Sapporo

Lessons in how to start an episode right here.

Jikook being all sentimental.

This is not the first time they were in Sapporo. JM was talking about six or seven years ago, while this came to mind straight away:

One of those probably memorable moments.

This is such a young Jikook, this being one of the first louder JK moments at the time.

I'm sure they created some beautiful memories there. None as beautiful as the ones they created in Tokyo though.

That was theirs, and that is also why we don't get to share any of their Tokyo time in 2024. That is theirs and theirs alone. And yes, I know that JK was working part of their time in Tokyo, but see, if they weren't intending on spending time together, JM could easily have joined him a few days later. But he didn't.

Them sitting there on that sofa and talking about the show, btw, was filmed most likely at the end of their trip, just before leaving for the airport and home.

This is them leaving Sapporo.

28 November 2023. Basically 2 weeks before they enlisted. Them sitting down, at the very end of their last trip before enlistment. Understandably emotions would be heightened. And that trademarked move of JK's...

Moving on to their arrival in Sapporo.

Ok, so as I mentioned in my Jeju posts, I saw a clear shift in JK in Jeju. Lighter. A weight lifted off his shoulders. He was the same here, even more so. But the one I wanted to talk about was JM. Because I felt like here, in Sapporo, is where we see that same shift in him. In CT he was sick but content to be with JK. In Jeju he was happy but still felt a little distant (not from JK but not allowing himself to fully let go), less touchy feely with JK, like he was holding back (with all of the shifty cheeky behaviour that was going on he still felt like he was holding back). But here, he's just all in. He's handsy and touchy feely, and talkative. So so talkative. I won't lie, I was a little shocked. In the best way possible. This was a side of JM we didn't get to see for such a long time. Free. Open. Some of the conversations they had, and some of the things JM talked about, never in 100 years would I have thought he would bring them up on his own accord and share his thoughts with us about them.

JM talking about this so openly. JK's reaction or lack thereof makes me feel like this wasn't the first time the subject came up with the two of them.

Not to say that I don't think that JK was taken aback by JM bringing it up there and then. His initial reaction was not stressed but maybe a little worried?

But with saying that, imo this is not the first time he's heard this. And the maybe a little worry is not about the subject and more about the timing of the convo.

Happiness.

That is what I see.

Even when having this conversation, which is not an easy one to have for the two of them.

Remember how the subject of being married with children came up during Festa 2020? Remember how the two stayed conspicuously silent on the matter?

And yet, JM brought it up there and then, openly, with a smile on his face, his hand not leaving JK's shoulder for one second during this whole convo.

All and all it was just so heartwarming to see them throughout the whole episode. Like I said, they just looked happy. To be there, together, with each other, making new memories to take with them for the next couple of years.

Back to them arriving in Hokkaido, can someone please explain to me why JK found the need to change that camera angle to show us JM's hand on him?

JM well aware and letting go pretty much immediately.

Next we had them in the car/van/whatever it was. Doing this:

Truly, I'm seriously asking here, because I'm kind of at a loss for words, lol.

Just another one of those super sus super "nothing platonic going on here" moments.

Watching Are You Sure?! EP 1

A reminder of how I do these reaction posts as I watch things. I just write my reactions and thoughts down literally as a happen. Think more of a bullet point format. I'll include links when I can to videos, thanks to the people who twt who upload clips. And at the end, I'll do a better wrap up of all my opinions. I hope everyone enjoyed the show so far!!

The episode starts with Jimin showing up right before JKs GMA performance and interview, July 14th 2023.

Them meeting up and talking about how he has his performance in NY on GMA later. Jimin saying that he hadn't seen him in a while, their schedules kept them SO BUSY 😭😭 this trip was so good for them. And the way he caressed JKs throat and told him to rest his voice and take care of it since it had been hurting. 🥺 So many soft touches too as soon as they were able to see each other again. And we didn't even get to see their actual reunion.

JK packing up his hotel room and talking about how he never traveled so freely before. They are so sweet and so busy and I'm so glad they were able to carve out even just a few weekends for time to themselves. And the way when the staff was talking to them about plans and who would drive etc, JK said he would drive and was just sitting there talking about traffic while they were holding hands interlocked resting in Jimins lap 😭 that's so??!!

Then fighting over the AC in the car in efforts to take care of the other is so cute. Jimin wanting to make sure JKs throat stayed okay, JK not wanting Jimin to get sick. They baby the heck out of each other. And Jimin watching his GMA performance on his phone 🥰 JKs cute smile while Jimin was jamming out to his music 🥺

"JungJi" new ship name alert?! Lmao!

JK ordering for the table 💜

The absolute bickering over who is a bad driver/bad at parking. The get out. Lmao the way they absolutely irritate each other on purpose is amazing and soooo best friends/might as well be married behavior 😂🤣

When they went shopping together and JK said they should buy the same shorts together 😍🥰 matchy matchy always!!

And an ARMY recognized them and saying hello and they were so cutely excited about it. "We've still got it." 😍🥺🥰

JK ordering for them again at the brewery 🥰 and I love that they went to an LGBTQ friendly brewery for one of their first hang out spots. Some ARMYs went and talked to the people working and said they everyone said Jikook were super polite, no one had recognized them and they kept to themselves a bit and just had some phones/go pros for recording.

The way that they also started talking about how this was their trip before military service. And how JK started bonking Jimin over the head with his camera when he mentioned it. Jimin was giggling but you KNOW that they was emotional from it too. This was when they were thinking there was still a chance they would be separated for 2 years. I know they were anxious to get to cherish this time spent together. I know it meant SO much to them both and probably so much to JK that Jimin traveled all this way and made it happen.

The way that JKs kayak tipped over immediately and Jimin just was cackling as he continued to paddle away and the staff were fishing JK out of the lake 🤣🤣🤣 just for JK to furiously row up on him and be like "you have your phone?? Tip over!!" 🤣🤣 They are so funny and cute! And Jimin taking a photo of his baby 💜 the way Jimin spent the whole time on the water just laughing and smiling fondly at everything JK would do. It's so freaking sweet. They just really had so much fun together being silly and goofy.

Not Jimin giving JK the "you come here often?" Pick up line and the immediate roleplay they both get into 😅🤣😂 they really can't go too long without at least a little bit of flirting lol

We know there was a getaway cabin with a 2 bed option but Jikook picked the one with just one bed. Lmfao good for them. Hey BH, we know you have no issues with filming the members while they sleep, even while they share the bed. How come we got zero footage of Jikook sharing the bed? 😂😂

Jimin being like "JK, you are a good cook 🥺" and Jungkook just immediately getting to work on cooking them dinner 🥺💜 although when Jimin asked for a taste, why did JK feed him from his FINGER?! Lmfao and what the hell was the noise he made when Jimin licked his finger 😂🤣 half moan, half laugh? I don't even know lmao

And the way he ran to go feed Jimin a piece of the chicken because he was proud of how his cooking was turning out. Sooo cute. Jimin accidentally dropped a piece of chicken and acted like he committed a great offence 😭😂 the way they spilt dinner duties though was so cutely domestic.

JK speaking directly to the camera to speak to the viewers. Man has done too many hours long live streams. Lmao he is too used to just chatting with ARMYs 🤣😂 that was adorable and Jimin thought so too. And the way Jimin goes "I miss V" and JK immediately is like "let's call him!" Anything to make Jimin smile! But they clearly cut so much of that convo, BH, give me my members loving each other istg I miss them too much. And don't even get me started on the yoonminkook conversation. I genuinely almost teared up. I miss BTS so much 😭 their laughter is healing

Jimin getting a stomach bug 😭😭 my poor baby. And the screen just going black while Jikook cuddle?? The give us minimal Audio and a black screen and then they cut away entirely and we KNOW they are cuddling. Lmfao TF BH!! We know they cuddle, where is my fanservice?! And JK turned over at some point and elbowed Jimin in the nose. You KNOW they were all up in each other's business on that bed for that to happen 😂😂😂

And my poor Jimmie... He feels so bad 😭😭 JK is taking such sweet care of him though.

JK outside stacking rocks while Jimin rests is giving me Yumi vibes. Lmfao I love him (and her!) SO MUCH! The way he prayed after too for a good trip with Jimin. The rock tower is also (correct me here if needed) a way to pray for someone's health and well-being. My poor sick Jiminie. Yumi also used the rock towers as ways to pray and communicate with her Gods.

Wrap up thoughts?

Not much I haven't already said honestly. Lol but just more emphasis on how special this trip is, both to Jikook themselves and for us to have it shared with us. This IS comfort TV. They bring each other such peace and happiness. They both banter and tease and have such fun. They both baby the heck out of the other. JK taking care of a sick Jimin was soooo nice seeing. The way Jimin wasn't feeling good, but rallied in order to have a good time for their weekend away.

It's also interesting that so much of this is honestly filmed from GoPro. They have some staff and crew there, but from what I've seen it's a smaller number than normally goes to film these shows and they are left alone with just installed cameras fairly often. That's extra nice for them. 💜

I am and forever will be salty about all the cuts. The Tae face time was cut short, the cuddling was cut, so much was cut. Which duh, I get why. But I still want more 😂 looking forward to the behinds to see if we get anything more. That black screen cut from them cuddling though was 👀👀😂😂

JK was such a good leader and took charge so much so far this trip. It was cool to see, Jimin ALSO thought so! The way he was speak for both of them, drove them around, ordered food and drinks for them, gave dinner prep instructions. Gave Jimin his medicine.... I'm not saying it's hyung behavior.... But... Lol also I did notice that there was a pretty even split of address between him calling Jimin hyung, or just by his name. Along with all the little random bits of flirting sprinkled through the episode lol so cute..

Why Jikook keep showering, washing up at the same time, saying lets brush our teeth together, lets go to bed together? Lets buy matching clothes together (Jk's idea, who's surprised? we saw his concept matched Jimin's). Deciding what, when, how much to eat together? Why do they always turn the camera off & back on washed up at the same time? Doing their morning & nighttime routines together? Compare that to when Tae was with them in Jeju, for days & not once did he join in on their routines with either of them, not Jk or Jimin, nor accommodate their sleep schedules or eating schedules. He went to bed on his own before them, went out did his thing without them, while they did their own thing and only Jikook went to bed together at the same time in jeju. They certainly didn't talk about washing up & showering at the same time with Tae, cause every time it was Jikook saying it & coming out with fresh clothes & hair at the same time. I know y'all close, but why you acting like more? Why you asking permission from the other to have seconds. Giving googly eyes to get your way. Just eat it, why you asking? In NY sleeping in the same tiny bed & same bed time. In CT brushing teeth same time, same bed time, same shower/washing up, waking up for morning cuddles and booty slaps. In Jeju, all of the above, same bed time, same shower time, same bed for a little bit, same wake up cuddles, their suitcases laid out next to each other in front of the shower. Now again in Japan. Same lets wash up, lets brush our teeth together, lets eat, lets go to bed and annoying each other with lights til they go to bed. I think they're perfectly content doing this for the rest of their lives. You're married at this point. Might as well make it official one day lol. I just love them so much & so happy they have each other and match each other's energy and freak. Good for them.

Tbf anon, Jikook weren’t going to leave the cameras on while they showered right? They didn’t want us to see “things” and by “things” I don’t mean what you are thinking……wait you know what, maybe I do.

You know all these years, we had heard from jikook themselves and other members how much those two spent time together at nights, eating, during the day, hanging out etc but I think for the first time ever, we get to actually see how it happened.

Like you said anon, not once did we see Tae try to follow their shower and night programs in Jeju as he always showered and went to bed way before Jikook were ready to while jikook always made sure to do these things together. It reminded me of the Vminkook Vlive in 2021 when Jikook found out that Tae had already showered but Jimin said him and Jungkook were yet to shower. Anyone who has been paying attention all these years would clearly see the pattern. This is why Jikook were always said to be together or spending their nights together. They make time to spend with other people doing different things but at the end of the day, they always settled with each other. Let also not forget what that staff said about never seeing Jimin and Jungkook separated from each other backstage.

I don’t think this is what he meant especially because Namjoon said he gets how he feels and shook his hand after. We all know Namjoon is single for a while now after going through a nasty breakup. Jimin and Jungkook’s bond is precious even though it’s now clearly not romantic.

He also said “Although I feel this way it’s not sad…” when speaking about Who. I think Jimin is strongly indicating that he has been single for a while. We should really take his words for what they are rather than trying to twist them into a narrative that makes jikook romantic. In the context of everything he said earlier in the video up until the Who talk it seems that he created Who to have the direct message of searching for his person. He was speaking about the song when he said that he felt this way. Not having those butterflies is what he is referring to when he says he feels flat, not sad but not exciting. Even if currently platonic jikook have a precious bond.

Imo these three sentences sums up MUSE and WHO perfectly instead of those essays wanting to connect it to jikook because we want them to be real :

This is exactly what he told, meant and going through when he created this album. It's sad Jikook is not involved romantically but they still have a great bond given their trips and now enlistment but if Jimin is saying he's single without even feeling butterflies to fall in love then we have to accept that guys.

And honestly i can see that there are many ways to look at this situation.

Nobody can without a doubt claim they are romantic partners, just like nobody can without a doubt claim they are not. You and I have differing perspectives based on what we see and how we interpret it. We probably have different ways of seeing the world and different experiences of love.

And if one day we all find out that they were really just friends, I’ll shake your hand and, without screaming or crying, I'll accept that i was wrong. I hope you would do the same.

But right now, I don't think I am wrong on this.

Looking at the whole picture it seems to me that they are very much still romantic partners.

More like an old married couple with complicated and busy lives, but

Clearly still very focused on each other.

Clearly delighted with each other.

Clearly care deeply for each other.

Clearly spend a lot of time together despite being so busy.

Clearly attracted to each other.

Clearly physically comfortable with each other.

That's how i see it.

Am i prepared to die on the hill that their relationship is romantic? No, because I can't possibly know for absolute certain. Same reason i dont believe in god (although i think Jikook is more plausible than an old guy sitting in the clouds watching humanity like he's playing The Sims, just quietly... and yes bring on all the anon haters who are gonna want to thrash me because i'm an atheist).

But on the balance of evidence I'd say ...

Lets talk about MiniMoniMusic.

As for the Minimoni video, Jimin was there to talk about the album. It wasn't a conversation about his personal life.

He talked about not having excitement in his life, about his life being bland, and empty after suspending group activities. They hadn't been active as a team, and he was working really hard. It was a long time since he felt excited about something.

That sense of excitement was compared to having a crush and confessing his feelings. He said he can't remember the last time he felt that way, and the journey of MUSE was to make him feel excited again.

Tracks 1-5 were exploring the exciting emotions, like you would have when you're crushing on someone. That euphoria, the fizz in your belly, the high energy etc. That's what excitement feels like.

The crush conversation... This is the part that's throwing everyone.

He said he couldn't even remember the last time he had a crush, and Joon says I know how you feel and he and Joon laughed about that.

If it was because they've both come out of long term relationships (and we know Joonie's breakup was traumatic) why would they laugh?

They weren't laughing about being single, they were laughing about being OLD.

Remember what came next ... Jimin says the youngest in his band is really young so Jimin asked him about how a crush feels:

"Give me something since you're the youngest"

Because having a crush is something teenagers feel.

Jimin and Joon feel old, like they are a bit past having crushes. I believe that's what they're saying. And honestly, when was the last time you heard 30 year old men talking about their crush?

A crush and a long term romantic partner are two very different things.

At no point did he say he wasn't in a relationship.

One more thing i need to add...

In my experience, it's very difficult to go from being in a long term relationship to being platonic besties with your former romantic partner. It takes a LOT of work, and it requires energy, effort, and very carefully maintained boundaries.

Jimin & JK don't look like they're maintaining boundaries to me.

Based purely on the recent footage - the Are You Sure teaser they released - I see no sign of clear boundaries. Even in the Minimoni conversation Jimin says they drink and talk for 3-4 hours and it gets DEEP. That's a recipe for disaster with a former lover.

It also usually requires substantial time apart - YEARS maybe - to reset the relationship so you can be best friends without falling into old habits. We aren't talking high scool boyfriends who get the odd hour alone together here. We're talking months and months abroad in hotel rooms with nothing to do except listen to Lana Del Rey and... eat bread (apparently) 🤣🤣

Ok look, that last part was a tongue in cheek joke but they have spent YEARS under the same roof with zero reason not to be in each others bed, pants, shower, and anything else that sounds fun.

So honestly I don't buy the 'used to be lovers but now good friends' argument.

Those boys are comfortably intimate to such a level they don't know where one of them ends and the other begins.
