There are no people without flaws. Itachi has a perfect life with Juugo. Juugo takes care of him, knows every detail to make him happy. It would be stupid to lose Juugo for not being able to tolerate his small defects, for Itachi the time has come to be less fussy. Itachi must learn to accept Juugo, because Juugo loves him even if in his own way. If Itachi had remained stranded in his utopias he would have ended up ruining his life.

As Itachi’s mental problems worsen, Sasuke agrees to a new idea by Suna-- a therapist, who recommends Itachi move out to another home in the village but also to take Juugo with him as company. ]]
