#Kirin makes a reappearance

Text
Without uttering another word, the strange Kirin stepped back to let the group tend to Light, which they did as soon as they could, although they struggled to keep their eyes off of the strange Kirin who appeared from the air mere moments ago; but Nox's focus was solely on making sure Light was all right, so she gently grabbed their hoof, held her breath, and carefully turned Light on their side.
To her immense relief, Light swiftly started coughing up water, and after a little while, they were able to take a deep breath again, and they rolled onto their back, when Nox sweetly laid their head on her lap, and smiled warmly as she squeezed their hoof; and Light smiled back at her, before they quietly said that they remembered falling into cold water, but they knew not how they made it here.
In response, Nox looked up at the Kirin who had saved them, and politely gestured for them to speak with Light, to which they slowly nodded and approached, whereafter they kindly asked Light how they felt; and Light weakly waved at the grey-silver-maned Kirin, who happily waved in return, and asked them how they managed to rescue them, and how they were able to bring them across the entire chasm.
To Light's confusion, the Kirin merely smiled and closed their eyes, before they reached out one of their arms pointed away from the group, and the others watched in awe as it faded from sight, as if by magic, followed immediately by the wind that started to pick up; and as the arm of the deep-blue scaled and wholly unphased Kirin reappeared, the wind died down, and the area rapidly grew quieter.
Then, like an excited Foal, the Kirin quickly prattled off countless questions to Light, which only slowed down when Nox softly asked them to be mindful of Light, to which, thankfully, the Kirin gave her a brief, albeit sincere apology; but after the Kirin sighed deeply, they enthusiastically asked Light if they could show them their Attunement, and tell them where they had learned to control it.
As Light slowly sat upright again, with Nox's help, though they thanked the cheerful Kirin standing before them for rescuing them from the water, they also asked them what they meant with Attunement, as they had never before heard of anything of the sort; but at that moment, Nox spoke up to ask the Kirin to tell them who they were first, as they could not possibly have found their group just now.
After the Kirin put their hoof to their face and briefly chuckled to themselves, they politely told the others that their name was Summer Typhoon, though they did prefer to be called Ty in short, and confirmed that they had not simply happened upon them; but they had indeed been following the group for a little while already, and they had watched them ever since they made it to the grassy fields.
It was clear that Nox could not believe what Ty said, as she was able to see far into the distance, and she asked him incredulously how he managed to evade her enhanced Sight for so long, to which Ty merely chuckled, which quite upset Nox; and almost sarcastically, he asked her in return if she was able to see all the drops of water in the sea, or every clump of dirt in the ground she stepped on.
But Nox snapped back at Ty in return, and told him to explain himself, to which the Kirin said with a deep sigh that he was able to hide within the very air, similar to how he made his arm fade a few moments ago, which was also how he managed to save Light; for he had great control in this form, so much so that he was able to fly into the water to save them, without hitting a single drop himself.
As for Attunement, Ty said, as he swiftly walked towards the group, who equally quickly reached for their weapons, he asked Light if they had not truly been taught how to wield the flames he saw when they first met; and after Light hesitantly shook their head, Ty let out an even deeper sigh, before he announced to the group that he would join the company Eastward, wherever it was they were going.
A deafening silence fell amongst the group in return, before Boom said:
"Sure, why not? The more, the merrier, right?"
(Thanks for reading! And if you enjoyed, please reblog! Thanks in advance!)

What I want from Season 3
◦ MORE from Henry, Scotty, and Bo specifically more details about their lives before the island (Scotty’s episode mainly focused on their friendship and some bits of Bo’s life)
◦ The risk on this island is bigger than both islands combined (for drama purposes)
◦ As much as Leah has been unraveling what’s going on, I don’t think Leah should be in a leadership role yet
◦ Leah not being the only one to find out things ( I love Leah but that’s something I always wondered why she was the only one figuring things like for example in S3, let Shelby (if she’s not the operative ) figure out who the operative is or Fatin figure out they’re being watched by someone (Seth)
◦ Fatin showcasing her fears and panics about still being on the island ( we rarely saw Fatin ever have a breakdown)
◦ Toni and Shelby building a friendship and a foundation and getting back together halfway through S3
◦ More of Henry and Ivan’s friendship
◦ Both groups bonding eventually
◦ development for the boys (like having them grow and us learning some things about their home lives cause I hardly know what their parents are like except for Henry’s mom, Bo’s dad, and Raf’s parents)
◦ A Rachel, Henry, and Dot friend group
◦ Raf developing outside of his relationship to others and becoming his own person( I love Raf but compared to the other boys he doesn’t have a strong presence)
◦ Us finding out how Martha and Toni met and learning about Toni’s mom
◦ Ian recruiting more people to help from the outside
◦ Nora reappearing on my television screen more than once
◦ Bo and Shelby becoming friends cause that’ll mean I’ll see more of their characters explored
◦ Toni and Leah’s friendship being explored
◦ Toni and Ivan having a friendship and both letting their guards down by being friends which would be beautiful ( credit to @lesbian-jpeg)
◦ Josh getting into a hobby completely outside of Kirin and it helping him heal(maybe he can garden?? That’ll be nice like how religion had helped Rachel)
◦ More group teasing Kirin playfully (specifically Fatin, Ivan, and Scotty)
◦ Kirin stepping back from being a leader for awhile cause from looking at his interview I think he’d feel a bit detached from the role and might feel like he’s inadequate
◦ Shelby’s main fear is that she will end up alone because of what she is, I want her to make more queer friends
◦ Martha and Josh being the token straight people of the group
◦ Maybe someone trying to spy on Seth to figure out if he has access to a way out like using his own tactic against him ( Tricking him into thinking he has an ally and then going to the group and telling them what they learned; i think Leah would be able to do that honestly)
What I NEED from Season 3
◦ Shelby and Martha’s friendship seen more(I missed them last season)
◦ Henry bursting out in song and either Dot or Leah knowing the song instantly and joining in and the rest of the group just staring at them
◦ MORE OF DOROTHY CAMPBELL THE MVP
◦ Raf and Leah stating out loud that they’re platonic with a capital P
◦ More than 10 episodes (I’ll accept fifteen)
◦ Nora and Rachel’s reunion
◦ Josh’s healing journey
◦ All the kids jumping Seth

More wow rewrite stuff, this time the MCs of Legion. The focus in the Legion rewrite is shifted entirely to the Class quest chains following the assault on Broken Shore, with those sending you through the Broken isles. This changes upon arrival on Argus where the story returns to the classic Horde/Alliance split
I haven’t decided on all of them yet, but I’ll put what I have here
Mage: Jaina Proudmoore (head of the Kirin Tor following the previous leader’s death on Draenor, she must juggle her new responsibilities with her recent identity crisis and the ensuing Legion invasion)
Priest: Calia Menethil (undead ex-Princess of Lordaeron, believes the Forsaken are her people and Sylvanas is a wrongful queen; reluctantly she works with the Horde against the Legion, but all the while she plots Sylvanas’ downfall, determined to see the Banshee Queen dethroned)
Paladin: Anduin Wrynn (nearing his 17th birthday, the age at which he’s first eligible to become king, Anduin wants nothing more than to make his father and Jaina proud; a gifted yet inexperienced Paladin, he seeks glory on the field against the Legion, while protecting all the people of the realm as if they were his own)
Shaman: Muln Earthfury (following the death of Vol’jin on Draenor, the Earthen Ring was left leaderless; Muln has stepped back up to the role as the Burning Legion threatens to raze the planet, but his time is numbered and he needs someone worthy to take his place) & Thrall (halfway through the campaign, the ex-war chief of the Horde rejoins the Earthen Ring to help end the Burning Legion threat, but is still unwilling to rejoin the Horde, feeling he still has more to learn before he’ll be worthy to lead them)
Monk: Thrall (for the first half of the campaign the Shaman and ex-war chief assists the Pandaren Monks with their order, making his first appearance since MoP when he explained he wouldn’t be returning to the Horde, he expresses regret for not being in Draenor but holds that he needs to learn more before he can be trusted to make the right choices for his people) & Li Li Stormstout (following her uncle’s death at the hands of the Burning Legion, the young Pandaren is determined to become stronger so she can take vengeance on the invaders)
Warlock: unsure
Warrior: Varok Saurfang (frustrated by the state of the Horde under a Forsaken war chief, and still grappling with his feelings over the death of his most promising pupil, Garrosh, Saurfang is more determined than ever to grow stronger and to prove his worth as an Orc by ending the Legion menace once and for all)
Death Knight: The Lich King (the first real appearance of Bolvar since his ascension to Lich King, the ex-regent of Stormwind has been struggling to keep the destructive urges under control and is excited to unleash them all on the source of his imprisonment, the Legion; the Knights of the Ebon Blade hope the Legion may hold the answers to freeing Azeroth of The Lich King forever, or at the very least, giving Bolvar his free will once more)
Druid: Malfurion Stormrage (concerned by the reappearance of the Illidari and the elemental imbalance caused by the Legion’s invasion, Malfurion has united the Cenarion Circle at the foot of Teldrassil, using the tree as a conduit of natural magic, to help force back the demonic invaders)
Rogue: Tess Greymane (looking to find a purpose for herself in the wake of peace now that she’s of age, and looking to distance herself from her father’s ever-consuming grudge, Tess joins the Uncrowned; untrained and undisciplined, it’s up to the PC to help condition her to the order, and eventually prevent her from making a reckless attempt on the Banshee Queen’s life)
Hunter: unsure
Demon Hunter: (stays more-or-less the same as in retail being more focused on the player and evolution of the Illidari as a whole than on any particular character)

About two weeks after the encounter with Manchineelantler, griffin siblings Phaethon and Marguerite Sparrowfeather face an unexpected twist in their fates.
Oh, hey, a new comic! This one is short, 6 pages long, so I'm putting it all in one post. I did take two long hiatuses while lining them, though, so please don't mind the inconsistent lineart or the shapeshifting table.
I also considered just doing it in greyscale, but I'm so tired of all the blue that I desperately needed to do some colouring in better colours, and this comic did promise to have some very nice designs in it - and I did indeed enjoy colouring it for once x3 this also means I didn't use any more blues than neccessary here, though. Foamie is the one blue eyesore here >:3 ...and yet she's still not as much of an eyesore as Kirin or the orange silouette in the last panel. Huh.
That said, ladies and gentlemen, allow me to present the guy who's sold his twin brother into slavery.
One of the fun things about making identical twins is that I can just use the reference for one of them for the other :'D another fun thing was coming up with a design for Jake that's genetically identical to Jack's, yet looks distinct enough that someone who's not used to telling deers apart wouldn't notice they're genetically identical.
Also, Safety Bubble didn't show it, but these griffin kids totally can fly. Phaethon's nickname Phay, in particular, comes from a corruption of "Fei", reading of the Chinese character 飛, which stands for flying. It was pretty unfair to never have him fly in his original appearance, especially seeing how the griffin kids originally weren't planned to ever reappear.

Curse of the Clan chapter 65 FINALE!!

“LEOOOO!” Michelangelo ran over to Leonardo out of breath, colliding with his brother before he could stop himself. “Leo Leo Leo Leo Leo Leo—“
“Woah woah woah!” Leonardo laughed and put both hands against Michelangelo’s shoulders to keep the excited turtle at bay, “Where’s the fire?”
Michelangelo took a long, deep breath. “I traded face painting for a snail and traded the snail fir a painted rock and I traded the painted rock for a cane and I traded the cane for a ball and I traded the ball for a basket of muffins and I traded the basket of muffins for a kitten and I named him Klunk!”
Michelangelo shoved a tiny orange and white kitten in Leonardo’s face; Klunk gave a tiny mew and batted curiously at Leonardo’s nose before quickly being pulled back against Michelangelo.
“That’s great, Mikey—“
But Michelangelo was already running away again on the trail of a bright butterfly, which left Leonardo once more wandering in search of something to do. Everywhere he looked was something new— young yokai playing games or families swimming in the river or flying flips through the air either on wings or paragliders. Everywhere they all seemed to be having the time of their lives. None of the activities caught and kept his attention though until he happened to look over to an ice cream cart manned by a slime yokai. The current customers were a calico nekomata and an old rat.
“Dad?” Confusion came first, and then came a sneaky, mischievous grin. He rubbed his hands together not unlike a supervillain, “Ohhh this is good~”
Slowly, like he was walking across a cloud, Leonardo glided behind a tree. He pulled himself onto a higher branch to get a vantage point, watching as Splinter and the strange woman passed under; he caught a snippet of conversation.
“I can barely handle my four boys; I don’t know how you manage so many!”
“It’s not all fun and laughter that’s for sure, but most of them get adopted really quickly…”
Leonardo jumped the next tree over, silently cursing himself as a falling leaf made Splinter stop and look up. His nose twitched, eyes narrowing just the slightest bit as he stared directly at Leonardo, but perhaps not seeing him; Leonardo remained like a statue.
“Splinter, what’s the matter?” The woman came to up wrap her arms around Splinter’s arm, looking up and trying to see what he saw.
“Nothing.” Splinter said quickly, “Just thought I saw something.”
Slowly, with Splinter dragging his feet, they moved on. Leonardo saw no point in hiding anymore. Before they could get far, Leonardo dropped down in front of them.
“So do I get to be the flowergirl?”
“AH!” Both rat and cat screamed, but Splinter quickly fell to grabbing his sandal and repeatedly slapping Leonardo with it. “YOU! DUMB! DIRTY! YARO! Scared me half to death!”
Leonardo bunched himself at the assault, laughing harder with each slap as he did his best to protect his face. “I’m - sorry! It was too good to resist! Besides, flower girl is more for Mikey, I wanna be ring bearer!”
“You get to be NOTHING!”
“Now That’s just unfair!”
Splinter swung his arm around the cat to guide her quickly around Leonardo, trying his best to ignore his son's taunting presence.
“Was that your son?” The cat asked, trying to look back and steal another glimpse of Leonardo.
“Don’t look at him and maybe he’ll go away.”
***
“RENET!”
Renet stopped long enough to look around, giving a curious hum at the familiar voice. “Michael?”
“ME!”
Renet gave a startled yelp that was quick to turn into giggles when she recognized Michelangelo had come up from behind and wrapped his arms around her in a tight hug.
“HUG! Hi Renet!” Michelangelo skirted around to her front, smiling brightly, “I traded face painting for a snail and traded the snail for a painted rock and I traded the painted rock for a cane and I traded the cane for a ball and I traded the ball for a basket of muffins and I traded the basket of muffins for a kitten and I named him Klunk!” Klunk gave a soft meow. “Also! I caught a butterfly and traded it for a balloon and traded the ballon for an ice cream cone do you want it?”
Michelangelo offered a strawberry ice cream to Renet, who accepted it with a confused but excited smile. “Uh… thanks. I’ve never had ice cream before!”
She looked over the frozen treat for a curious moment, then took a big bite out of it before Michelangelo could stop her. The cold immediately seized her body and she brought a hand up to cover her mouth against the drool that tried to escape from the shock.
“Mm… cold.” She shivered, wiping her mouth once more before she let herself giggle.
“You’re supposed to lick it, not bite it.” Michelangelo encouraged.
Renet did as asked, swiping her tongue across the length of the dripping ice cream, “Mm! It’s good.”
“It’s ice cream, of course it’s good!” Michelangelo beamed, “What are you doing out here? I didn't think you left your mansion all that often.”
“Yeah I uh… I don’t.” Renet said with a giddy laugh, “Today’s actually the first day. I’ve never seen the sun before.. It’s just as beautiful as I imagined. But hot…”
Renet swiped a few beads of sweat off of her forehead. Michelangelo gasped and, out of an innocent want to help, went to grab the back of her wheelchair to push her. Renet pulled away from the attempt, rolling back around to face him while Michelangelo looked confused, and then startled at Renet’s uncomfortable expression.
“Actually I can roll myself.” She said slowly.
“OH! I— I’m sorry!” Michelangelo squeaked, head shrinking, “I was just going to bring you into the shade…”
Michelangelo motioned to the shade of a nearby tree and Renet started to roll herself over to it while Michelangelo trailed behind.
“I’m sorry.” He repeated again, “Was the hug bad too?”
“O-oh, no, you’re fine just… don’t grab my chair unless I ask you, okay?”
Michelangelo nodded quickly. “Yes Ma’am! And thanks again for, you know, making sure we don’t burn a fiery death in TCRI.”
“Oh yeah, no biggie.” She nodded; the ice cream in her hand was quickly disappearing. “I really enjoy being out here with all the sun and the grass and the bugs! Maaaan I love the bugs!”
“I didn't get out much as a child either.” Michelangelo related, “It was so fun when I got to learn about all the critters and— and watching the stars and the sun rise! And it never gets old because it’s always so different!”
“Well I’m glad to finally experience it.” Renet finished off her cone and then rolled a little further so her front was in the sun; she closed her eyes against the warmth, the light bouncing off her scales in a flashy display, like sunbeams on water. Her skin seemed to glow radiant like light amber, the baby blue headscarf catching the breeze. “The wind is like the sweetest honeydew on my skin… and it’s like I can taste the colors of the world!”
“Well, if you wanna enjoy even more of the world…” Michelangelo started, rubbing his head, “Maybe you want to come eat with me and my family?”
Renet opened her eyes and looked to Michelangelo. “I’d love to!

While his brothers were exploring, Donatello was content to stay at the table near the girls. He had been away for so long that there was a seemingly endless amount of social media he needed to catch up with, so he took the opportunity to get a head start on it. Occasionally April or Sunita would throw a shrimp or a burger his way to use him as a taste tester, but he didn't mind. Scrolling was certainly working up an appetite.
Something hit him in the face. Donatello groaned and reached up, having to swipe a few times before he was able to pull it off, and when he did he was hit with a wave wave of confusion. It was a cherry blossom flower— not just a petal, but a full, blooming flower! Even as Donatello held the stemless thing in his hand, it seemed to open a little wider, the dew drops on its petals dripping down and dampening his palm.
Donatello looked around and saw no tree, nor anyone carrying such flowers that could have been lost. Carefully, his fingers traced along the pink curves, soft as melted butter. He stood up, and when he did, he looked down. In the grass just ahead of him was a trail of flowers, blooming before his very eyes and stretching toward the warmth of the sun. The trail was expanding closer to him until the flowers came to him, gentle stems tickling his ankles as he lifted his feet to see the spectacle better. The blooming flowers led to a golden rift at the end of the trail, similar to Draxum’s except with flowers instead of vines. A rift identical to the one that had rescued Donatello and his brothers from The Sea of Trees.
“I told you your brothers would come.” Said a familiar voice— the kirins voice!
And then the flowers were gone, and so was the rift, and so was the voice.
“Don, food’s done.” April called, then put a hand on her hip and gave a frustrated huff when it seemed Donatello wasn’t listening to her.
“Y-yeah, be there in a second.” The hand that once held the cherry blossom felt empty now in its absence, and it took Donatello several long heartbeats to turn back to his meal. “Thanks April… it looks great.”
“It better!” April laughed, “Then again I’d bet anything looks great to you given the past two weeks you spent alone.”
“Yeah…” And Donatello looked to the table and saw a basket of berries sitting there for him, shining with a heavenly glow, “Alone.”

ivan, he also did not do shit but i just like him
scotty. idk why
josh. loving the bro-ification arc with the backwards hat
kirin, at this point kirin’s only personality traits are hating seth and treating josh like his little pet hamster. both valid
bo. why is he so fucking boring
dj makes his reappearance, and those ten seconds were still better than the flashbacks
seth. somehow he managed to make it even lower than he already was.

Oh!!! A race and cocoa!! That sounds awesome!!! It'll be so fun! Oh!!! Oh maybe we could all race and see who's the fastest!!! Oh- or maybe we could all go sneakily say hi to some of those Mortals, I haven't talked much to them either! -Sunsprite
He laughs, but it sounds hollow and forced.
I wish… Mnemoria makes sure none of her angel’s talk to mortals. Especially me. She’d never let me work for Kirin again if she found out I did that under their watch…
A real smile reappears on his lips.
But we can definitely race and have cocoa!

Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon Episode 22
https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/review/yashahime-princess-half-demon/episode-22/.170344
I'm going to get this out of the way now, just so I can switch things up and not start things off on such a negative foot: “The Stolen Seal” isn't a terrible episode of Yashahime! Relatively speaking, at least; lord knows there are a lot of bones I have to pick, but they're the kinds of problems we've come to expect from the whole of Yashahime by now, and while they usually say that familiarity breeds contempt, in this show's case I'm perfectly happy to mix my metaphors and go with the devil I know. At the very least, “The Stolen Seal” doesn't end on a character-destroying gag like last week did, and it's not infuriatingly incompetent like, well, a lot of prior episodes have been. Here's your gold star, Yashahime.
We actually begin with another flashback, this time to a previous arrival of that one evil comet, which we see being destroyed by Kirinmaru, Zero, and — hold for surprised gasp — Grampyasha himself, the Great Dog Demon! The reveal that Kirinmaru and Zero used to be besties with GDD is something that feels like it should be shocking, or at least emotional, but Yashahime has bungled its pacing and narrative so badly that the best it could muster from me was a slightly cocked eyebrow and a mild snort. I'm sure the show wants us to make a big to-do out of the mystery of what happened between these three to lead them to…whatever it is that Kirinmaru and Zero are trying to do, now, but this is the first time that Kirinmaru and Zero have even *kind of* felt like characters with personalities and goals. Even with Zero and Kirinmaru vaguely gesticulating about the Spooky Plans™ for the girls for half of the episode, I'm still not entirely sure of what they want to accomplish now, so Yashahime sure as hell hasn't shored up enough vested interest to get me concerned about the villains' pasts.
Speaking of the Spooky Plans™, yes, that is what this week's episode is all about. For some reason that Yashahime hasn't bothered to tell us yet, Zero and Kirinmaru actually want to unlock Towa and Setsuna's sealed-away demon powers, and Zero goes about this scheme using those creepy demon powers that I guess she didn't seal away, after all. Do the treacherous siblings simply want to see what the twins are capable of at full strength, before killing them? Or does Kirinmaru have greater use for Towa and Setsuna? Could it be that he might even have their best interests in mind? Probably not, but we're getting to the point where the obnoxiously dragged out “mysteries” of the story are just frustrating and pointless, so we've got to fill in the blanks with something to work with.
In any case, Zero first pays a visit to Miroku in order to figure out how to unseal Setsuna's power, and then she takes her newfound knowledge to the sisters themselves. Zero manages to easily brainwash Towa into helping her, thanks to Towa chucking away her Silver Pearl last week like a damned nincompoop. Moroha, being the only sweet and good character in this entire series, does her best to help, but to no avail: Zero rips away Setsuna's seal, transforming the young half-demon into the venomous, rage-filled beast that we've seen consume her before. Oh, and then she grows big purple butterfly wings and flies away to wreak more havoc elsewhere.
Is the implication that Setsuna is the dream butterfly? Or is Zero the Dream Butterfly, and the wings are on her account? Or is this some kind of extended Naraku/OG InuYasha reference that is just (heh heh) flying over my head? Either way, I have to be honest: It looks goofy as all get out. And not in a charming, “This is a fairy tale meant for kids!” way, oh no — it's plain corny, is what it is. Most of the action this week is pretty lame, as sloppily and poorly storyboarded as it is, but Magical Butterfly Setsuna is perhaps a bridge too far, especially since we don't have enough context to know why she would just randomly sprout butterfly wings all of a sudden. And what does all of Setsuna's rage and thrashing about amount to in the end? A blink-and-you'll-miss-it appearance from Sesshomaru, who, true to form as ever, can only muster mild disgust for his daughter's inability to perfectly master her demon powers entirely on her own, years after being completely abandoned by the only parent who could have maybe given her some real pointers. Dad of the Year material, he is most certainly not.
Still, I meant it when I said this was a step up from previous episodes. I liked Miroku's daughter, Kin'u, who takes a solid minute to dunk on her dad for getting gooped up in Zero's spiderwebs before helping him out. I liked that Moroha got more to do this week than just stand around, waiting for an opportunity to sneak in one of her zingers. (Even if the end result is still, you know, Moroha getting her ass beat. Again.) Hell, I even liked the incredibly stupid cliffhanger at the end of the episode, where we cut back to the present day for the first time in almost five months, to see Towa's teacher, Osamu Kirin, remarking on the reappearance of that gosh-danged evil demon comet. Get it? “Osamu Kirin”? With the floofy hair and oversized Harry Potter specs covering up his face?? Man, I almost feel bad for Yashahime at this point because of moments like these, where it feels like the show genuinely believes it is telling an interesting story worth giving a damn about. It isn't. At all. If the show can just maintain a few episode's worth of this baseline level of near functional quality, though, I might just be able to humor it long enough to get to the finish line.
• The bar is so low at this point that I nearly gave “The Stolen Seal” a 3/5, just for how much it didn't actively annoy or insult me. Then we got to the scene where Towa noted that hugging Riku sure did make her feel different from when “Papa Sota” hugs her. This is, categorically, the single worst line that the show has ever had the gall to throw at us, and Yashahime is lucky that I didn't throw another Adam Sandler movie GIF at the scoreboard. You're on thin ice, Yashahime! Keep the girls' nascent horniness to your damn self, please and thank you.
• So, Zero and Grampyasha were most definitely getting their shag on, right? The internet tells me that Sesshomaru's mother has already made her appearance in the series, so my initial theory that she was going to be the twins' grandmother doesn't seem like it makes any sense. But still, she's out here calling GDD her “lord” and giving him the “slam my salmon” look throughout the whole episode. That explains why she gave up her demon powers in a fit of grief — even if, again, it seems like she definitely still has all of her demon powers — though I still don't get why she was so keen on killing GDD when he was deathly ill, last week.
• Totosai also pops up to foreshadow the “training with the Blood Blade” — I don't know what a Blood Blade is, but I was feeling like Steve Rogers when the old blacksmith popped up:

Though they knew not how Discord knew about this, Pinkie, Spike and Light all confirmed what he had figured out, and politely asked him if he could tell them what he knew of the Spirit Realm, and how he knew neither Light nor Spike had any power there; but Discord ignored their question and did not utter a word as he slithered over to Pinkie to ask her if she knew whether she had any power there.
As Pinkie tried to swat away the Draconequus as if he were a mere mosquito, she started to say that she tried to help, when she stopped herself, and thought in silence for a moment, while Discord was hovering above her head, tapping his fingers on an unseen surface until Pinkie whispered she stayed with Nox and Boom, and Grim and Starswirl, and did not battle the Shade like the Pillars or Royals.
With a deep, overdramatic sigh, Discord concluded that Pinkie did not know, and slowly flew back to his seat next to Spike, where he tried to continue chatting with the young Dragon about their game; but Spike said nothing, and only quickly glanced between Discord and the Mane Six, before he sighed and said he was worried about Twilight and Solar, and everyone else, and he asked Discord for help.
In turn, Discord turned away from Spike with a frustrated look on his face, after which he finished his tea and thanked Fluttershy, before he snapped his fingers and vanished in a flash of light; but Fluttershy only slowly flew to the stairs, and quietly talked to somebody upstairs, whom the others figured was Discord, before she said Discord would be back in a moment, as he needed time to think.
The group continued to drink their tea, until Discord reappeared, walking through the front door a couple of minutes later, carrying a couple of small critters in his arms, and the arms he had grown around his torso; here, he sighed, and thanked Fluttershy for her advice as he calmly petted one of the bunnies, quietly nibbling on a leaf of lettuce, and apologised to the others for his behaviour.
Lately, he did not understand why he felt upset, but hearing about Ponies he considered to be close friends fighting something he knew not, wielding a power he did not possess, in a place he had gone only once before, he knew at last why he felt as such; he wished he could do more to help them, but just like Light and Spike, he would not be able to help push back this darkness they were fighting.
Save for the bunnies eating their lettuce, the room fell silent, until Light asked Discord why even he, the Spirit of Chaos, could not help in the Spirit Realm, for surely he must hold great power if he managed to conquer the entire land to make it his personal playground, twice, by himself; but as his expression turned somber, Discord merely shook his head as he started to pet the bunnies again.
He sighed again, and said that Light was right about him being powerful, but this was merely in the Waking Realm and the Realm he created for himself that he called his home; within the bounds of the Spirit Realm, that dealt in life and with wandering spirits, he was only a visitor, just like Light and Spike, while the Royals, the Pillars, and the Mane Six sitting here all held great power there.
A thought crept into Light's mind, and they asked Discord whether this had something to do with the limited lives of Ponies compared to those of Dragons, Kirins, or other Draconequi like himself, for they had only seen the Pillars and the Royals wield this power; even Nox Lunarwing, Luna's Daughter and a half-Dragon, could face the darkness, and they wondered if he had any idea why this could be.
But as Discord started to explain, his heart terribly ached, and he just managed to put the bunnies on the floor before he fell to his knees, grasping at his chest and telling everybody that time was running out; though he could not help in the Spirit Realm, he could help here, and asked the others to stand close together, whereafter he snapped his fingers, and transported everyone to the Palace.
As Discord could barely walk, Light and Spike helped him, while the Mane Six hurried to the Hall…

HNY crack theory time (tdlr; if Riku isn’t Sesshomaru or Kirinmaru’s child, could he be Tōga and Zero’s love child?)
While working on a few unrelated posts I started thinking about Riku again. Bastard won’t leave me alone, why do I love him so much. Skip to the bottom if you want to head straight to the crack. ‘Keep Reading’ isn’t working for me on mobile, sorry.
I’ve loved the theory that he’s Kirinmaru’s hanyo son due to coloring, symbolism, imagery, similar mannerisms, etc. Their introduction in the same episode, the English phrase and connection to Osamu Kirin, the grapes, their association with water, Riku’s vendetta against the perils, etc: it’s all too great to ignore but perhaps these connections are being made obvious on purpose to divert us. I have my doubts. I also entertain the theory of him being Zero’s hanyo child because she’s Kirinmaru’s older sister and as such he shares an eye color with her, the presence of eye shadow/markings (which Kirinmaru does not appear to have), some similarities in their dress, the association with the pearls, etc.
These ‘Riku is xyz’s hanyo son’ theories are more likely if we assume he’s a time traveler as we know Kirinmaru and Zero kind of have a thing about humans and half-breeds. Of course, Kyuki and other people know him (and as a Lord no less) so it’s still highly possible he was born prior to the Sengoku period.
Recently I mentioned a possibility of Riku being Kirinmaru and Zero’s hanyo half-brother, making him the HNY equivalent of Inuyasha. I really like that idea personally, especially because it would mirror Sesshomaru and Inuyasha’s relationship. Their family drama has been the underlying backbone of the whole series. It culminated in the perfection of the Meido Zangetsuha, a pretty big deal even still in HNY, and we all know Toga is still causing drama from beyond the grave.
But, a lot of people are convinced that Riku is related to Sesshomaru somehow.
I’ll be honest, I’m not really sure I see any connections to support these theories as interesting though they may be. I think the biggest point to support this kind of theory is that Riku has a lot of information about Sesshomaru and he seems to have some personal grudge against him, possibly. But everything feels personal at this point. Here’s some reasons:
1. Riku talks about ‘taking care’ of the yashahime’s in a suspicious and threatening way. He points out that he’d like to see Towa perform Sesshomaru’s Azure Dragon Wave and then remarks that it was half-assed. He cozied up to Towa with ulterior motives. He explicitly pointed out (in a very sus moment) that loving humans brought nothing good to Sesshomaru’s father or Sesshomaru himself, and he seems pleased by that statement. Oddly enough, he wanted Homura to burn himself up, which directly prevented Towa and Setsuna from getting answers about why Homura caused the forest fire in the first place. Getting directly involved with finding Izayoi’s shell, even knowing about it in the first place and then knowing where to find it, knowing about the pearl and how to recreate/fix it, and then seeking out Kagome (referring to her by her own merits and not repeating the same line about her being Kikyo’s reincarnation was odd). Waiting around to see what happened when InuKag were sealed. It seems obvious he knew what would happen probably because of time shenanigans and for some reason wanted to help them out.
2. Zero’s tears becoming rainbow pearls, Tōga humiliating her, the comment about Sesshomaru’s mother, her very pointed threat against the twins on the night they’re born, the threat against Inuyasha when he’d already been left alive 200 years, waking Kirinmaru up just to tell him this once Moroha was born, etc. She said it already: she wants the family to suffer.
3. Kirinmaru’s reaction to hearing Sesshomaru had married a human and fathered hanyos seemed personal as well; I think that was overblown on purpose. His whole reaction was curious. Like, why threaten Inuyasha now when you literally just got done stating that he assumed Sesshomaru and Inuyasha could handle the comet? He's been around two centuries bruh, taking your time or what? I know it’s made to look like he’s just then making a move because Zero’s pointing out that a hanyo will kill him but are we expected to believe that he didn’t already think of that already? Riku said Kirinmaru can’t forgive the existence of half-demons so why didn’t Kirinmaru make a move on Inuyasha before? He would have had Sesshomaru’s support surely? (That’s debatable tho tbh; technically Sesshomaru did try to kill Inuyasha for real at their father’s grave, but prior to that we have no idea whether he made any real attempt on his life. He did acknowledge Inuyasha as his ‘little brother’ after all, and he could have easily killed him in at any point during his 50-year sleep). He seemed confident that Sesshomaru would help him kill Inuyasha, but again this could just be what we’re supposed to think.
So, the idea of Riku being related to Sesshomaru is interesting, but barring some kind of illusion or other explanation, I can’t see Riku being his son. Physically they look nothing alike and Riku doesn’t appear to possess any powers related to any demons we know. We’ve only seen him display certain..weird abilities by using the pearl and we don’t yet know how they all work, if each has special abilities or if they all operate in the same manner. I personally wonder if the pearls follow the will of the bearer or grant the bearer’s wishes. Ie. Riku used the pearl to gather water to him, he used it to make boats appear out of no where so he could get out of dodge, and if I remember correctly he used the pearl to create the gold. If the other pearls operate the same, the silver and gold pearls could be protecting the twins because that was Sesshomaru’s wish. Idk if that holds water, honestly who the frick knows what the silver and gold pearls really do at this point besides making their eyes sparkle. They seem to be reacting to something but I haven’t worked it out what that is myself.
Aside from ‘Riku is Sesshomaru’s son’ theories (which I do think are interesting), a crack theory about who else’s son he could be has come to mind. This was the purpose of the post but it got very long. I like writing about Riku, sue me.
Tōga -> Riku
If it seems plausible to some that Riku could be Sesshomaru’s son, either born before the events of the OG series (not that likely given his aversion to humans) or after the events of HNY (reappearing in the Sengoku period bc of time shenanigans), then what’s to say he couldn’t be Tōga’s hanyo son or even a full demon son (if it comes out that he’s using some illusion powers)? We’d already have a candidate for who his mother could be.
Zero said she was humiliated by Tōga. She wants his family to suffer. She shares similarities in appearance with Riku along with her brother Kirinmaru, who could very well pass as his potential father or uncle.
Honestly, I think I’d be satisfied with any of these theories coming true, even this crack one because it would be so juicy can you imagine.
Of course, there is Zero’s line that Tōga was basically responsible for unleashing hanyos unto the world and presumably she meant with Inuyasha. Do we know that he was the first hanyo? That hasn’t been explicitly stated yet. Does it mean that Riku could not have been fathered by Tōga prior to Inuyasha? No, Zero could be leaving him out. Does it still mean he could have been fathered by Sesshomaru after? Sure, if we overlook his ill will toward humans. In that case, it’s really more likely he comes from the future if he’s anyone’s son, but everyone knowing who he is throws a monkey wrench in that.

🐌, 🌼 and 🐛. I know these questions are in a row but they're what I'm most curious about!
SJKSJSKS THANKS FOR THE ASK!!
Uhh this ended up super long sooo it’s all answered in the read more.
🐌 - What’s your favourite holiday episode?
Uhhh great question. Probably Luna Eclipsed? I don’t really have a strong affection for the holiday episodes but Luna Eclipsed is fun. :)
🌼 - What’s your favourite MLP song?
Huh, great question…imma list a bunch. (These aren’t in order btw)
1. Ballad if the Crystal Ponies - Idk if this song is actually good, but I started MLP just before season 3 aired, so I remember this song making me excited for the new season when I was younger.
2. Babs Seed - Bad episode but CATCHY SONG WITH CATCHY VIDEO!!
3. Hearts as Strong as Horses - Another catchy song. My critiques are boring sorry
4. Glass of Water - So chaotic and fun. <3
5. Goof Off - This song is so upbeat, chaotic and catchy. Seeing real life footage was weird and then Cheese Sandwich stealing Pinkie’s song? So good. Rip Rainbow Dash tho.
6. Light of Your Cutie Mark - Another episode I didn’t really like but I love the harmonies at the end. Especially when the CMC say “there’s another way”, like it sounds so good to me.
7. A Changling Can Change - Tfw tiny dragon stands up against a group of soldiers, two alicorns and two powerful unicorns to tell them to stop being r*cist. (Okay but like Spike is softly begging a room of adults not to kill his friend. Spike is a champ.)
8. I’m the Friend You Need - I never watched the movie but I’ve seen enough clips that I’ve basically watched. Anyways, cat man is so smooooth. I’d trust him- /hj
9. A Kirin Tale - I love Autumn Blaze. She’s so chaotic. Idk, I just think this song is neat.
10. Welcome to the Show - Honestly I love all of the Dazzling’s songs. They’re all so amazing. I’m sort of indifferent to the mane six’s part.
(This was a good excuse to just listen to a bunch of songs. I like a lot more of them like the BBBFF Reprise and Play Your Part, but I tried not to list them all cuz like…that would be so much stuff to read lol.)
🐛 - Who’s your favourite villain?
The Dazzlings!! I loved how creepy they were and how they almost defeated the mane 6. They managed to actually get them to argue. If it wasn’t for Sunset, the Dazzlings would’ve been able to win. And even when they rallied together, they still pretty much won. It was only because Sunset stepped up that they failed in the end. (I didn’t rly like them when they appeared in some of the animated shorts but oh well.)
From the actual series, I really liked Discord, mostly when he reappeared the second time. Him messing with the mane 6 and making everyone question his intentions was great. And then he kept making everyone question whether he was actually on their side.
I also liked Chrysalis the first time she appeared but I think they ruined her. She was quite an interesting villain cuz her motives were about providing for her subjects. Plus I watched a theory video that I thought was cool about she could’ve been a jerk on purpose to isolate Twilight and get rid of her as a threat, that she only failed in the end cuz she didn’t realise that Cadence and Shining Armor could use love. Everyone was tied down and the Elements of Harmony weren’t there, so it was reasonable to assume she’d won.
Sorry if I wrote too much. I don’t get to talk about mlp. Feel free to send more questions. But if not, I definitely enjoyed the distraction and now I’m just listening to mlp songs lol.

Itachi Uchiwa
Tumblr media
I tachi Uchiwa is a major anti hero of the manga and anime Naruto, and the older brother of the second protagonist of the license Sasuke Uchiwa. 👦🏻 At first he was portrayed as a major antagonist for much of the story and then was seen as a hero when his real motives were revealed after his death. Before his true motives were revealed, he played the role of one of two secondary antagonists in the Tsunade Search arc, one of two secondary antagonists in the Kazekage Rescue Mission arc and the main antagonist in the arc pitting him against Sasuke. This blog article will retrace the history of this flagship character of the manga, you will find there: - The Brief History of Itachi - His entry into the Akatsuki - His real motivations Let's find out together! 👇🏻
The childhood of Itachi Uchiwa
Tumblr media
Itachi was born on June 9, he is the son of Fugaku Uchiwa, the head of the Konoha military police, and Mikoto Uchiwa, members of the Uchiha clan who founded the Hidden Leaf Village alongside the Senju clan many years ago. generations. 🍃 Growing up in Konoha Village , Itachi proved to be a very gifted ninja, even at a young age he was considered a prodigy and rose above most of his peers. Thanks to his talents, Itachi was sent into battle as a child shinobi during the Third Great Ninja War, where he suffered the horrors of that war. Since that day, Itachi has changed with a desire to ensure that history does not repeat itself. After witnessing Kyubi's attack on Konoha while caring for his little brother Sasuke, Itachi learns that his clan has been secretly accused of the fox demon attack and the clan has been dispatched to an ancient section of the village. There, while he bonds with Sasuke who wants to be like his brother, Itachi finds himself sent to infiltrate the ANBU as a spy for the Uchiha who have decided to revolt. The massacre of the Uchiha clan
Tumblr media
However, Itachi instead informs senior Konoha officials, as he and Hiruzen Saurtobi, the Third Hokage, attempt to sort matters out otherwise. But Danzō Shimura's actions resulted in Itachi taking credit for the death of Shisui Uchiwa, a member of the Uchiha clan against the revolt, moving away from his family. He has distanced himself from those close to him, including his own family, although his father knows he did not commit the act. However, Itachi took a dark turn when Danzō ordered Itachi to slaughter his entire clan, promising to save his little brother Sasuke Uchiwa's life. Having no other recourse, meeting Tobi who was helping him, Itachi proceeded to assassinate his entire clan. Only his parents were left and they accepted their fate, as Itachi reluctantly killed them on their orders. When Sasuke arrives, eager to do penance for his crime, Itachi uses his genjutsu to make Sasuke see a version of the massacre that places his brother as a heartless murderer with the desire to win the Mangekyo Sharingan . With the image implanted, Itachi tells Sasuke to live in hate and become strong for the day they fight to the death. 💀 Although Sasuke attempted to kill him when his Sharingan activated, Itachi places his brother in a temporary coma before seeing Hiruzen and the other high places. While asking Hiruzen to ensure his brother's safety, Itachi threatens Danzō to honor his promise or he would expose the conspiracy before letting Konoha escape . However, still loyal to his village, Itachi joins the Akatsuki to keep an eye on the organization and the threat it poses. Unfortunately, in addition to the progressive blindness side effect of his Mangekyo Sharingan, Itachi contracted a deadly disease that he managed to contain so Sasuke could kill him before she did. Despite the trauma he suffered from killing his own family, Itachi did not blame those among Konoha's rulers who entrusted him with this mission. Although he did not trust Danzō on a personal level, he knew that Danzō only had the best interests of the village at heart.. But Itachi, in part because of the necessity of his mission to join Akatsuki, changed a lot after the massacre, rarely, if ever, showing any emotion. He became more prone to shows of force and allowed certain violent habits from his partner, Kisame, under the pretext that it furthered Akatsuki's goals. 🦈 Itachi couldn't and wouldn't completely change his pacifist habits, and he would shun confrontation or hold Kisame back if the likelihood of collateral damage got too high for him or others. Even though Kisame sometimes protested, he considered Itachi a good friend and listened to his instructions. Itachi also had a decent partnership with his former partner Jūzō, showing him respect and, after his death,
Konoha's Infiltration Arc
Tumblr media
When news of Hiruzen's death reached him, Itachi feared Danzō would take advantage of it. Itachi took advantage of a mission with his partner Kisame Hoshigaki to capture Kyubi's current Jinchuuriki, Naruto Uzumaki, as an excuse to show that he is still alive and that he still poses a threat to Danzō. Itachi is confronted by Kurenai and Asuma alongside Kisame and Kurenai has entered the fight, but Itachi is quickly revealed to be the best user of Genjutsu and effortlessly fends off the illusion of Konoha's ninja. Even when Kakashi arrived, Itachi was superior and crushed all three of them without fighting at full strength and ultimately left Kakashi helpless in the face of Tsukuyomi . However, Itachi's appearance reached Sasuke as he ran to Naruto's location and confronted Itachi as he was about to capture Naruto. Seeing that Sasuke still wasn't strong enough despite his Chidori, Itachi effortlessly beats him and brutally nails him to the wall. He motivates him to return to the path he had placed him on before knocking him out with Tsukiyomi. Soon after, Kisame and Itachi were forced to leave because Jiraiya arrived . Itachi later reaches the Akatsuki reunion following Sasuke's departure from Konoha.
Capture de Shukaku
Tumblr media
While Shukaku is captured, Itachi is tasked with delaying Team Kakashi so that they cannot find their lair, and uses one of Sasori's spies to fight them from a distance. He subjects Naruto to a genjutsu by raising his finger, though he eventually comes out and kills the Sleeping Agent with his new giant rasengan. 🌌 When news of Sasuke's victory over Orochimaru reaches him after helping Kisame 🦈 capture the Four-Tailed Demon Roshi's jinchuriki, fearing his brother's urge, Itachi decides to put his plan into action as the disease begins to win over. By sending one of his clones to Naruto as he searches for Sasuke, Itachi questions the boy's resolve, even with the possible threat Sasuke would pose to the Konoha. Impressed by Naruto's response, Itachi has a crow with Shisui's eye implanted into the boy's body before leaving.
Itachi vs Sasuke
Tumblr media
At this point, another Itachi clone appears in front of Sasuke to tell him that their final battle will take place in the Uchiha Hideout. Asking Kisame not to intervene, Itachi waits for Sasuke to arrive. After a genjutsu exchange and a conversation about Madara Uchiwa , Itachi reveals his failing eyesight and the only way to restore it is to take Sasuke's eyes to obtain an Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan . Once the conflict becomes more physical, using several of the abilities he gained from absorbing Orochimaru, Sasuke manages to use his Kirin ability to deal significant damage to his brother. However, only his Akatsuki cloak having been burnt, Itachi reveals his true secret weapon, the Mangekyo Sharingan's ultimate ability: the Susanoo . At this point, Sasuke has lost much of his chakra as Orochimaru reappears through his secret Eight-Headed Serpent Jutsu and attempts to steal Sasuke's body. However, Itachi has his Susanoo beheaded the seven serpent heads before impaling the last one Orochimaru came out of. From there, Itachi has Orochimaru sealed with his Susanoo, removing the cursed seal from Sasuke's body. How Itachi died?
Tumblr media
However, the fight took a long time for Itachi, as the now helpless Sasuke found himself against a wall as he approached him, appearing to want to reach Sasuke's eyes. But instead, he touched Sasuke's forehead and smiled at him before saying, " Sorry, Sasuke ... but it's over " before submitting to his illness and dying. Despite his good intentions, Itachi's hopes for Sasuke are dashed when Tobi later tells Sasuke the truth about Itachi's reasons for betraying the Uchiha clan. However, the crow that Itachi placed in Naruto was going to counter this event by the time Sasuke obtained the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan.
The Fourth Great Ninja War
Tumblr media
Itachi was revived during the Fourth Great Shinobi War by Kabuto who used the forbidden soul reincarnation jutsu to convince Tobi to join in the war he declared. After parting ways with Kakuzu, Itachi carries Nagato as they discuss how they were brought to their eyes and are nothing more than weapons. The last two cross Naruto and Killer B. 🐙 Itachi is surprised that the first can now use the power of Kurama. While forced to fight against his will, Itachi is horrified when he learns of Sasuke's actions after his death while begging Naruto not to reveal the truth behind the Uchiha clan slaughter for the honor of his clan. . When Itachi activated his Mangekyo Sharingan, he brought out the crow he had placed inside Naruto and implanted Konoha's protective command to override Kabuto's control over him. Itachi helps Naruto and Killer bee defeat Nagato before destroying the crow, so that Shisui's eye does not fall into the enemy's hands. Telling Naruto to entrust Sasuke to him, Itachi tracks down Kabuto to force him to release the Reanimation Jutsu. However, Itachi finds himself joined by Sasuke and ends up promising to tell him the whole truth before they fight Kabuto together. Itachi et Sasuke vs Kabuto
Tumblr media
The two brothers are vastly outmatched until Itachi uses Izanamito trap Kabuto in his own mind. With their enemy willing, over Sasuke's objections, Itachi explains that he has nothing left, while stating that it was an honor to protect their home one last time. After using his genjutsu to force Kabuto to release the Reanimation Jutsu, seeing his brother still adamant about the destruction of Konoha, Itachi uses his sharingan to show Sasuke all of his memories. Explaining to Sasuke that things would have been different if he had never lied to him, Itachi tells him that he doesn't need to be forgiven but that he will always love Sasuke, no matter what path he takes. will choose. After a moving speech, Itachi bids farewell and returns to the afterlife. 👼🏻
Rock Lee: The Twists of a Budding Ninja
Tumblr media
Itachi appeared in the chibi spin-off of Rock Lee  : The Adventures of a Budding Ninja in  Episode 38, along with Kisame, arriving at the hideout. When Lee and Tenten saw him, they realized that the group they met was none other than Akatsuki himself, despite their stupidity. Itachi, seeing him, asked his other teammates who told him that Lee is a newbie recruited by Zetsu. Like Kisame 🦈 he doesn't trust Lee either, so he uses his Sharingan and places Lee under a genjutsu, who is defeated by Tenten so he can continue to disguise himself. Once released from the genjutsu, Lee then saw Itachi covered in crows droppings all over his body. Later, after Deidara unintentionally starts a brawl within the group, Itachi, unlike everyone else, tries to stop them from fighting, but fails completely. Later, after Tobi admitted the truth, Itachi and the rest of Akatsuki beat Deidara for not saying Lee was a spy. Itachi makes an appearance in Episode 46, where Jiraiya classifies him as an occasional pervert, alongside Sasuke and Yamato. In Episode 51, Itachi is briefly mentioned by his brother, Sasuke, who teams up with Akatsuki to destroy Konoha. 💥 One could suggest thatItachi might have died before the episode .
Appearance of Itachi Uchiha
Tumblr media
Itachi is a tall 21-year-old young man with long dark hair tied in a ponytail that was usually hidden by the high collar of his black akatsuki coat, onyx eyes, and pale skin. 👦🏻 One of her most identifiable features are the lines running from her eyes to her cheeks and her almost constantly active Sharingan.
Itachi's motivations

After he is butchered his clan, Itachi has become virtually emotionless and unfriendly. A man perfectly in control of his emotions, Itachi only expressed surprise during battle if his opponent was stronger or caught him off guard, and even this could be interpreted as a deliberate act to deceive his ally Kisame . Unlike most of Akatsuki's other members, Itachi didn't display the more typical aspects of a villain like arrogance. He treated his fellow Akatsuki members with the same respect. In fact, he goes so far as to respect and compliment his opponents for their skills and abilities. He is able to back up his claims because he has the power, not because he is He does not like combat sport and does not indulge in violent bloodshed, preferring to hasten to end his fighting as quickly as possible. Even in such a state, Itachi can still display vestiges of his kindness, expressing his distaste for Orochimaru's actions . All of his supposedly nefarious acts were so many tricks to encourage Sasuke to kill him while he cared deeply for his younger brother. Facing Naruto, he sees hope in the young ninja and entrusts him with the task of pulling his brother out of the vengeful darkness he has embraced for all these years. Indeed, Itachi (although emotionless from the outside) was unhappy, sad, discouraged, and in pain from within.
Itachi: a ninja prodigy
Tumblr media
A talented and very powerful ninja, Itachi was a prodigy, his intelligence and abilities blossoming from a young age. He had already graduated and became a Jonin by the age of twelve and obtained the Sharingan by the age of seven. He quickly rose to Anbu's rank and even became captain of an Anbu squad . Itachi's prowess was recognized by Orochimaru as superior, Itachi effortlessly crushing the Sannin. He was also perfectly capable of killing Sasuke if he wanted to despite his illness, with Sasuke still unable to beat Itachi despite the latter's resistance.
Chakra and Itachi power
Tumblr media
As a Uchiha, Itachi's chakra was naturally strong, but his chakra stores became very low, exacerbated by his illness. This kept him from participating in long clashes and limited his use of the Mangekyo Sharingan techniques to three times a day before he needed a significant rest, at which point even his Sharingan deactivated. To compensate for this limitation somewhat, Itachi had very refined control of the chakras, able to perform his techniques with one-handed seals. Although rarely getting involved in such fights, Itachi was very good at taijutsu, enough to easily defeat three members of the Konoha Military Police at the age of eleven. He had impressive speed and reflexes, especially with the movements of his hands. He felt like he could perform his techniques without seals, even skilled Sharingan users found it difficult to keep up with him. His speed allowed him to attack first in a fight , then immediately move to where his opponent was retreating before he even realized he was gone, giving him no chance to launch a counter. attack.
Itachi's Sharingan
Tumblr media
Itachi quickly managed to master the Sharingan from a young age and became the clan's greatest eye expert, even rivaling Shisui. The famous kekkai genkai exclusive to the Uchiha clan and can only be obtained after having experienced trauma, emotional stress. 😨 Sharingan is an instantly recognizable dojutsu (eye technique) upon activation, as an Uchiha's normally black eye color turns blood red, accompanied by a varying number of tomoe circling the pupil. Since Itachi's Sharingan has been fully grown, it has a maximum of three tomoe. It allows the user to copy any type of jutsu they see at least once and then imitate it perfectly. It also allows them to see the flow of the chakras clearly, which is effective against most ninjas. Itachi only used the Sharingan for this last ability, as he never showed the utility of copying. the movements of his opponent. Thanks Read the full article

Blue and Gold
“Well,” Archmage Dalton Underwood said as he surveyed the land before him from his mountain perch, “That’s a lot of sand.”
And indeed it was. The desert sand was scorching in the heat of the sun to any normal traveler, but the beige clothes that had been provided to the two mages had been enchanted with an invisible frost armor, something that kept them safe from the stifling heat.
Ahead of them stretched the desolate land of Silithus, clad in the same colors of white and tan and gray that it always had been - but now, there was a lot of red and black as well. In the distance, a massive sword stretched up into the sky, as if plunged there by some fallen god. It had pierced into the planet and caused a violent surge of energy across the world - and it was this that the Kirin Tor had recognized.
Olivier looked upon the blade with a sour expression. She hated the desert, and she hated that she had been called out for some investigation when there were other things she needed to focus on. “I know a place where we can stay,” she murmured. “I went through here not that long ago. There’s a little bunker… that way.” She pointed to her left, down the mountainside. “When are you planning on telling me what this is about? It’s not that confidential, is it?”
“Well, we’re not sleeping just yet,” her mentor reminded her, already channelling a teleportation spell. “And I prefer to show rather than tell.” Olivier grabbed onto his arm, and the two were whisked away. They reappeared several miles away from the sword’s entry point, and both paused to get their bearings.
The apprentice mage took her hand away, brow furrowing. “Why so far aw-”
“Get down.”
Olivier and Dalton didn’t waste a moment throwing themselves to the sand, their clothes offering an easy camouflage. The archmage lifted a hand, a spell shimmering over the both of them to render them invisible to all but each other. Liv’s heart thundered in her chest and she looked over to Dalton, her eyebrows raised.
“Listen,” he insisted urgently.
Olivier frowned, brushing some red hair away from her face as she followed the instruction. Several seconds passed with only the sound of their breathing and the sweeping wind across the desert. “I don’t hear anyth-”
“Wait.”
And there it was - the distant clang of metal against metal. There was another brief pause, then it started up again, incessant and harsh to the ears. It sounded like some sort of mine. It was coming from the far left, behind the outcropping of rocks that was concealing the two mages. They exchanged a glance, then both got to their feet, brushing sand off of their clothes.
“That,” Dalton muttered, “is the reason I called you out here.”
Olivier raised an eyebrow. “Miners?”
“More importantly, what they’re mining.” He began to skirt around the rocks, gesturing for her to follow. She was hesitant at first, then remembered that they were invisible. When they rounded the corner, Olivier stopped in her tracks, stifling a gasp.
Before them lay a massive deposit of what looked to be some kind of gem. It was a vibrant gradient of blue and gold, one that shimmered in the hot afternoon sun. It was, quite possibly, the most beautiful thing Olivier had ever seen.
However, surrounding the vein was a group of goblins, their olive green skin shining with sweat in the heat of the sun. It had already been a long day for them; their ears drooped, their voices were few and far between, and each resounding clang of the pickaxes against the ore grew fainter and fainter. A quick headcount revealed there was about five in this particular location - but as Olivier stepped forward, Dalton’s arm snapped out to hold her back. He shook his head, and his apprentice simply watched, her brow furrowed.
Eventually, the two backed up behind the outcropping again and sat down, leaning against the rocks as they waited for the sounds of work to fade. Liv’s signet ring sounded and she gave it an uncertain glance, then relayed the message to her mentor, who simply frowned and lowered his voice in reply. The wait took another hour or so, and by then, the sun had started to set, bringing a brilliant array of vibrant colors to the horizon. It was only then that the goblins packed up their things and left with the ore they had gathered, leaving behind only a few jagged pieces of the blue and gold stone.
Olivier’s boots crunched through the desert sand as she hurried along, having waited until the miners were long gone to come out. The invisibility spell had been dropped to conserve energy, so she was within plain sight of all. “I saw something like this the last time I was in Silithus,” she murmured, leaning down to pick up a piece. “I wonder what it-”
Suddenly, it hit her. The pure, raw power of what she held washed over her like a tidal wave, and threatened to sweep her away with it. Her lips parted with a soft gasp - and for a brief moment, it seemed like she saw the future.
Olivier stood alone in the jungle, clutching her staff tightly. A trail of footprints led away from Seastone Keep. She was several years older, though her hair retained its vibrant color through the dye she had added to it. Then, there was a flash as the vision fast forwarded.
There was a ship, eerily silent aside from the creaking of the mast and the wind against the sails. A thick cover of mist hung over the sea, masking all inhabitants of the vessel save for a single pair of red eyes that seemed to burn through the fog.
Then, there was fire. Brilliant flame of white and blue and orange and purple swept through her world, erasing everything - all the bad, every regret, every moment she wished she could take back. Everything was gone - and in its wake, new life began to sprout from the ashes. Bronze ribbons of magic swept around her feet - and soon, Olivier found herself standing in the Violet Citadel, looking out over the city of magic.
The world was at peace. Evil had finally been defeated, and now it was time for rest. The stars were bright and the city was glowing and the people were happy and-
“Olivier!”
It was Dalton’s voice that startled her out of the vision. Bright amber eyes blinked up at him as the desert surroundings returned. She still held the stone in her palm. “What is this?” she whispered. “It’s… unlike anything I’ve ever seen or touched. The power it holds, what it can do… it’s devastating. Destructive.”
The archmage nodded, cutting his gaze to the side. “This is why it cannot fall into the hands of either faction,” he murmured. “They shouldn’t know anything of this, or they will use it for their own gain.”
Olivier frowned. “They already know,” she pointed out. “You saw the goblins - and you know they’ll sell to anyone. And you heard the signets earlier - or what I told you. There has been a resource in Silithus found. What else could it be?”
Dalton shook his head. “For now, maintain discretion,”  he cautioned. “I know you want to be loyal to the Alliance, but this should be kept a secret or the state of the world could be at stake.” His gaze wandered to the sword in the distance. “Perhaps… it already is. But, regardless… we’re not the only mages out here. We need to learn as much about this as possible - and we need to map the deposits we’ve found, and make sure they’re guarded. We’ll have people in both the Alliance and the Horde to figure out what the plan is if they do end up figuring it out. That’s why you’re out here - to do research, and to create maps. Are you sure you’re up to the task?”
Olivier glanced to the side where the sword in the distance stood as a massive silhouette against the vibrant dusk. A slight breeze kicked up a layer of sand and stirred her hair, prompting a shiver. She looked back to her mentor, offering a weak smile.
“Absolutely.”

Where would Summy be if she hadn't been recruited into the Oathsworn Vanguard?
It had been a long coupleof weeks for Summy. It was currently a quieter time, in between all the warsand chaos, but that meant the goodie goodies amidst the military were in thecity. However, the good side is she had opportunities to attempt to gather informationon them as well. She had been going through this particularly troublesomenoble’s routine for weeks now, making sure every little detail was accountedfor and as predictable as possible. His schedule was more random than she wascomfortable with because of all his duties, but assuming there wasn’t someemergency anywhere, she had it down pat.
She had been tailing thisone particularly annoying noble for a good couple of days now. She had beentrying to get the grasp of his schedule. However, because of his being in themilitary, the head of a noble house, and a private business on the side, it wasa bit random and chaotic for her liking. Nonetheless, after a good couple ofdays she had gotten the hang of his daily routine and could predict all ofwhich wasn’t completely random.
She had joined theColdwall Collective shortly after the completion of a hiatus. She had left theKirin Tor and disappeared, wanting to be left alone to get a hold on herthoughts and relax some. Once she had reappeared, the mysterious leader of theCollective had revealed herself to the gnome. They had an interestingconversation which ended in Summy’s joining of the group. Once she had beengiven the necessary introductions and training, she was immediately told thatshe would be among the ranks of the informants for the Collective.
Summy thrived in therole, which was the reason she had been given her current task. Because of hismilitary training, he was hard to tail, and harder to survive getting caught. However, she had figured him out, and using her short stature, blended in mucheasier in the city that most. She could hide almost anywhere, and thereforealways be listening.
She had been quietlyhiding in a corner for a couple hours now, just listening to him and a couplesoldiers talk while recruiting. They hadn’t been talking about anything ofinterest yet, but she hadn’t given up, and it had paid off. “So, what do youthink I should do? I cheated on her with someone random apparently. I don’tquite believe it though. It felt like it wasn’t me, like I was being forced.”Summy smirked, making a note for when in the recording she had overheard it.Summy listened to them until they left, hoping something else would bementioned. It didn’t matter though, she had gotten everything she needed. Sheteleported from her hiding spot, eager to let the Mistress know what she hadlearned.
((@enigmatic-elegance for mentions and this AU Summy being in their guild! ))
