Kun on 'The Return of Superman'
Tumblr media
Pairing: Dad! Kun x reader
Genre: fluff, headcanons
Warnings: talking about kids on camera (not really really but you know), thinking about kun with kids, me dying of cuteness, dad kun
Note: these aren't actually dad! kun headcanons; but if y'all would want that then i'd be more than happy to do one
i'm not really sure how kun ends up on the show
cause i'm pretty sure he will find a way to spend time with your kids without the tv show
though of course he and the kids enjoy it since it means guaranteed time together
to me, it's very likely than kun has some child care certification
(yall definitely took child care classes; i have no doubts about that)
anyways kun is a parent to envy
he's cooking mini chef course meals for your kids
gosh the thought of kun cooking with a mini assistant (´⌣`ʃƪ)
prepares lots of life & moral learning activities
alongside fun games to get their energy out
he handles the kids' big emotions calmly
getting down to their level and talking to them throughly
i could see kun being both a boy and girl dad
(though i might be leaning heavily towards him being a girl dad 🤫)
like he can totally handle rowdy, rambunctious boys
(he's had wayv and chenle as practice/j)
creating ways for them to rough-house in safe ways
also kun would not stand for 'boys will be boys' bs
the both of you are going to raise gentlemen
but then he'd also be so sweet with a pair of girls
i can just imagine him letting them do nails and makeup on him and his hair
ugh it's such a cute image
he'd be very loving father either case
i could see kun being like one of those musically-talented parents
making songs that have something from the kids
like the beat being their heart beat or their voices being included in it
i also can see him singing lullabies (unique or not) to your kids
being on the show, kun proves why he was called husband material by nctzens
you don't appear often on camera but when you do
you guys share very sweet moments together
the love in y'all's relationship is obvious to those that watch kun's segment
from how he talks about you to how your children care for one another
people are shocked by the languages your children know/understand
korean: due to your area (of course) and then mandarin
kun speaks at home with your kids
and having wayv helps their language skills develop too
then if you speak another language, i imagine they'd learn that as well
kun and you want your children to have a normal life as possible
meaning that your kids are referred to by nicknames
kinda of like Jam Jam from the show
and your family leaves the show when they get close to school age
cameras will never not be apart of their life
pictures that you guys take
but also sometimes when visiting kun at the company
so of course your kids are comfortable around and being on camera due to it all
but their faces are blurred if they show up on the film
because while your kids are a celebrity's kid, they're aren't celebrity kids
and once your children get even older
then you ask their permission / give them the opportunity to decide the amount of online presence

I hope I'm not being rude but how did you have the time to do everything on your bio when you're only 24? Can you share how you learnt a lot of languages?
It's fine. Believe it or not, people ask me that A LOT.
I'm born in Myanmar and only spoke Burmese until I was 10 and my mom decided her children should be able to speak English. She sent me and my sibling to an English Summer School and then started speaking English at home. I've been bilingual since then. Burmese people are very good at English (read: we were colonized by the British) I started learning Chinese at age 12, I think. Then at age 14 and 15, while writing novels and fanfictions, I taught myself how to read hanguel (korean script) and hiragana/katakana (japanese script) then started studying formally after graduating highschool.
In Myanmar, until a few years ago, high school students used to graduate at age 16 and go to the university. So when I graduated high school, I went the distance education route in University and became a freelance translator and interpreter. I also did some transcribing and content writing. Then I went to Korea and studied in a language program. I came back after nine months and at age 19 I just started taking things seriously and self studied everything to pass all the language certification exams.
In 2021, because of the military coup, I dropped out of high school, realized my freelance translator job is not really going well due to the dictatorship, so I started to branch out. Now I read tarot and interpret astrological birth charts, teach classes and tutor people, sell books and ebooks. That's just how freelancing is. I think.
Anyways, all these things seem a lot until you realize I just spent a decade of my life just doing things I want. A lot of people tried discouraging me of course They're always like "choose a language!" "choose a path!" but I just don't like to listen to people. Hopefully, a few more decades and I might become a jack of all trades. And learn a few more languages. And read a few more books. And get into a few more hobbies. Yeah.

Tips on how to impress a school and get a scholarship from someone who got a scholarship at the most expensive school in my country.
Tip 1: have extracurricular activities. It could be anything from sports to pottery. Your extracurricular activities give the school a better image, for example; you're good at volleyball thats great, you have awards? Even better, now your awards will be given to the school to use for their image. You're good at art? Wonderful. Your art will be displayed to be shown off.
Tip 2. Pick up hobbies that you enjoy but will impress the school. Languages, sport, etc. Langauges are the most useful thing ever. "Yes they're very talented, they speak (lang)" bad example but you get the point. Its impressive to know more than one or two languages.
Tip 3. Work on your weak subjects. So for me it was math. What i did was enter competitions like online ones, it improved my math. Those awards were then brought out when i wanted to get accepted to my dream school. But mostly for yourself, work on your weak subjects. It'll be useful
- Tip 3.5. Just like me i joined free courses on
EDX they have a ton of different things. They're self paced most of the time!! You can pay less than 100$ most of the time to get a certificate!.
Tip 4. Make experiences. Your grades aren't the most important thing. Making experiences can not just show your maturity but those experiences show your independence. You can volunteer at childcare, camps, join competitions. These will pop up in interviews trust me.
Tip 5. Use your interests to your advantage.
You like korean? Learnt it and say you speak korean. You like basketball? Say you're passionate about it. You like to speak? Say you're confident on stage. You have good responsibility? Say youre looking forward to join student council
much love,
xoxo, f

Hello!
My name is Juliet. I recently finished my masters degree in sociolinguistics, and then moved to France to work for a travel company. I used my first three months of living in this new country and working full time to get settled in, but now I'm ready to get back to my language studies!
And what better place to get motivation than here ;)
Let me introduce the languages that i speak / want to speak:
🇩🇪 German 🇩🇪 (Native)
This is my mother tongue and i actually have a certificate to teach German as a foreign language - i love teaching it, so if anyone needs help, don't hesitate to contact me.
🇺🇲 English 🇺🇲 (C1 / C2)
I started learning English at 12 years old in high school, and later taught myself by reading English books and watching English tv shows. My master program was mostly in English and i actually wrote my thesis in English, so I'm pretty comfortable with the language.
🇨🇵 French 🇨🇵 (C1)
Oh French - my love and my enemy. I grew up next to the French border and starting learning it in 5th grade. I proceeded to do 2 student exchanges in France, spent a year as an au pair in Paris, later did my Erasmus semester in Paris and recently moved back to France. I love France, i love French - and the pressure is high to speak it fluently. This actually makes me pretty self-conscious when speaking it, which in turn makes me worse at it. By moving to France, i hope to really improve my language skills, especially my vocabulary.
🇮🇹 Italian 🇮🇹 (B1)
Italian is my favorite language in the world, and Italy is my favorite country in the world. I just love everything about it, which is why I decided to learn Italian a few years ago. I have been studying it on and off for about 4 years, a mix of beginner classes at my university and self study. After finishing my masters this spring, i spent the summer traveling through Italy and ended the trip with a 2 week language course in Torino, and it was absolutely amazing! I'm excited to keep learning and to hopefully go back to Italy many times :)
🇯🇵 Japanese 🇯🇵 (beginner)
I've been wanting to study Japanese for sooo long, i think it's been 5 years since i bought my first Japanese language book. 5 years later, do i speak any Japanese? Nope. I can read and write hiragana and katakana, quite a few kanji, and i know basic sentence structure. But that's it. I think it's soo interesting to learn all about a language that's completely different from all the languages i know, but that also makes it challenging to learn it all by myself. I had planned and booked a 6-week language course in Tokyo in the summer of 2020, and was soo excited that i cried when I booked it. Well, I cried even more when the whole trip got cancelled bc of COVID... After that i didn't really get back into studying it, although I'm still as interested in it as ever. So I've been thinking about trying out italki this year... I will try to make a decision about how to go forward with my Japanese study during January.
~Other~
If i had the time to study more languages (which at the moment i absolutely do not, but life is long) i would be interested in Chinese and Korean. After getting to know the basics of Japanese i find it really fascinating to learn a whole new writing system and a completely different grammar, and although I've had absolutely no connection to Asia so far in my life, i absolutely want to travel there and learn more about its numerous languages (which i know aren't just Japanese, Chinese and Korean 😉). It's just like there's a whole new world to explore there!
So that was my (not so short) introduction. I'll be looking for langblrs that post more or less about the languages I'm learning, so if anyone who studies any of my languages sees this post, don't hesitate to leave a like and I'll have a look at your account!
To be continued...

Of course Mal darling! ❤️❤️❤️
Ferris Buellers day off - What is your guilty pleasur - watching shitty movies. I'm talking BADA MOVIES. Movies that you sit there and wonder IS THIS SERIOUS? I love it. Its the best thing ever and has me in stitches of laughter. And I highly recommend people to do it!!
Drugstore cowboy - which historical figure most spikes your interest? - This is purely because of my friend, who is a history buff but Queen Elizabeth I and Anne Boleyn. Obviously I know some stuff about them but after hearing more stuff that's not exactly known unless ur deeeeep into it I was like ooooo
Dangerously liaisons: which language would you most like to learn? - well I wish my Korean was bettee hahah I currently speak Korean and some Japanese as I hold a certificate in that but no where near as good as I'd like to be so those two for sure and for some reason French lmao throw that in

langblr reactivation challenge | week one, day two
2022.11.15 • write a list of goals for your target languages
i've always taken a one-language-at-a-time approach when it comes to language learning. i did that while i was learning english. i've been doing it since i started learning korean. and although i still wanna focus on korean rn i really wanna try dabbling in italian, no pressure just have fun with it. so my goals are:
short-term goals (1 month) korean: study every day for at least one hour + review some grammar points from yonsei 2-2 + finish ttmik's situational dialogs in korean italian: i just want to have fun with the language and be able to introduce myself
mid-term goals (6 months) english: since i plan on applying to grad school i need to start prepping for the toefl exam + read at least one book in english per month and just maintain my proficiency level korean: be comfortable having at least 30 min long conversations + finish KGIU for beginners + complete keisp's 2-2 korean course italian: be able to understand tweets + have simple conversations in italian
long-term (1 year) english: get toefl's C2 certificate korean: get a TOPIK 3 certificate + read at least one book in korean + hold 1 hour long conversation
note: i’ve defined “short-term” as things i’ll concentrate on in the near future, by the end of the year, and “long-term” as within a year. i did it that way so that my goals more realistic and achievable (SMART goals) ;)

The Importance of Learning a Foreign Language and the Finest Places to Study It!
The importance of teaching foreign languages to children is underappreciated. While it may appear strange, teaching a language to children at a young age makes it easier for them to learn and retain it. Therefore, parents should think about enrolling their children in quality foreign language classes like a good French language course.
Choosing a foreign language is important because it fosters sensitivity to other cultures and a desire to learn more. As the world becomes more diverse, we must become more aware of and accepting of other cultures. And learning a language is the best and quickest way to do so.
The goal of learning a foreign language is to be able to communicate with others. It is a necessary life skill that can only be acquired through interaction with others. In addition, studies have shown that learning another language has cognitive benefits regardless of age.
According to research, bilinguals have larger brains, stronger memories, are more creative, are better problem solvers, and have many other advantages. These advantages not only make learning additional languages easier, but they also make learning everything easier.
Meeting new and fascinating people in order to form long-lasting connections is certainly a worthwhile goal. Learning another language is a sure way to accelerate that process. Language enables us to express our thoughts and desires, as well as connect with others and form meaningful relationships.
Speaking a foreign language broadens your pool of potential dates and serves as an instant common denominator when you meet native speakers.
It is also critical to select the appropriate learning institution. Because most of what your child will learn will be unique, enrolling them in a school with expertise and specialisation in such studies is the best way to begin their learning journey.
Symbiosis Institute of Foreign and Indian Languages (SIFIL) provides both Foreign and Indian language courses for the discriminating student. SIFIL, established in 2000, is a renowned Symbiosis institute that provides certificate courses and programmes at the Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced levels in various foreign and Indian languages.
The spirit of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam pervades the entire institute (the world is one family). SIFIL promotes cultural awareness among the people of the country through language. SIFIL's teaching methods and facilities reflect its vision of promoting international understanding through quality education.
Their Global Kids programme is ideal for any parent looking to introduce their child to global cultural awareness through language. Your child will be interested in learning about and exploring different cultures.
So, choose from the best German, French, Japanese, Korean, or Spanish language courses in Pune to provide your children with language knowledge and all the benefits that come with it!

Language Learning Apps Market Insights: Key Drivers and Challenges to 2030
According to the latest report by Meticulous Research®, the global language learning apps market is on track to achieve substantial growth, with an expected Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) of 21.2% from 2024 to 2030. The market is projected to reach $26 billion by 2030, driven by a burgeoning e-learning sector, increasing globalization, heightened demand for cross-border communication, and the cost-efficiency of language learning apps. Despite these positive factors, the market faces potential constraints due to the lack of comprehensive platforms that integrate all language learning needs.
Download Sample Report Here @ https://www.meticulousresearch.com/download-sample-report/cp_id=5658
Key factors fueling market expansion include heightened educational expenditures, an expanding base of internet and mobile phone users, and a growing preference for multilingual employees within multinational corporations. However, ensuring the quality and effectiveness of language learning materials and overcoming limited access to high-speed internet and smart devices pose significant challenges. The integration of artificial intelligence (AI) and robotics also represents a major trend shaping the market.
The report segments the language learning apps market by offering type, learning mode, age group, and end user, providing a detailed analysis of industry competitors and market dynamics at the country level.
Market Segmentation Insights:
Offering Type: The market is divided into online courses and apps, tutoring, and software as a service (SaaS). In 2024, online courses and apps are anticipated to dominate, owing to the growing need for institutional certifications, the demand for accessible educational content, cost-effectiveness, and government support for digital education. The tutoring segment, however, is expected to exhibit the highest CAGR, driven by the demand for personalized one-on-one instruction, tailored learning experiences, and cultural insights from online tutors.
Learning Mode: Segmented into one-on-one learning and group learning, the one-on-one mode is projected to hold the largest market share in 2024. This growth is attributed to globalization, the need for personalized learning experiences, and cost-effective alternatives to traditional language programs. Conversely, the group learning segment is expected to show the highest CAGR, due to its ability to offer diverse teaching methods, peer evaluation, and real-time feedback.
Age Group: The market is segmented into <18 years, 18–20 years, 21–30 years, 31–40 years, and >40 years. The <18 years segment is projected to lead in market share in 2024, driven by the digitization of education, increasing smartphone use, and the popularity of interactive learning apps. The 18–20 years age group is anticipated to register the highest CAGR, fueled by language exchange programs, engaging learning experiences, and cognitive development opportunities.
Language: Major segments include English, French, Spanish, Mandarin, German, Italian, Arabic, Japanese, Korean, and other languages. English is expected to dominate due to its global importance in education and business. However, Mandarin is projected to grow the fastest, reflecting its economic and cultural significance and increasing global business opportunities in China.
End User: The market segments into individual learners, educational institutes, government bodies, and corporate learners. Individual learners are forecasted to capture the largest share and highest CAGR, driven by increased adoption of smart devices, the proliferation of self-learning apps, and social media engagement.
Geography: The market is divided into North America, Asia-Pacific, Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East & Africa. Asia-Pacific is projected to lead in market share and growth rate in 2024, driven by the need for improved cross-border communication, demand for multilingual professionals, and government initiatives to enhance digital education infrastructure.
Key Players:
The language learning apps market features prominent players such as Duolingo Inc. (U.S.), Memrise Inc. (U.K.), Busuu Ltd (U.K.), Berlitz Corporation (U.S.), Mango Languages (U.S.), Pimsleur (U.S.), Rosetta Stone, Inc. (U.S.), HelloTalk (Hong Kong), Inlingua International Ltd. Language Learning Apps Market Projected to Reach $26 Billion by 2030
Tumblr media
Meticulous Research®—a leading global market research company, published a research report titled, ‘Language Learning Apps Market by Offering, Learning Mode (One-on-one, Group), Age Group, Language, End User (Individual Learners, Educational Institutes, Government Bodies, Corporate Learners), and Geography - Global Forecast to 2030’.
According to the latest report by Meticulous Research®, the global Language Learning Apps Market is projected to grow at a CAGR of 21.2% from 2023 to 2030, reaching $26 billion by 2030. This growth is driven by the expanding e-learning market, globalization, increasing demand for cross-border communication, and the cost-effectiveness of language learning apps. However, the lack of a comprehensive platform may hinder market growth.
Opportunities arise from increased spending in the education sector, a rising number of internet and mobile phone users, and the growing preference for multilingual employees by multinational companies. Nonetheless, challenges include ensuring the quality and effectiveness of learning materials, and limited access to high-speed internet or smart devices. The integration of AI and robot technology is a notable trend in the language learning apps market.

The weeb in me is trying to wake up and make me buy one of those "learn Korean in 30 days" kinda books.
Just bc I follow some webcomics and dramas.
Jfc last time my weeb self took the wheel, I took classes for Japanes and got into uni to keep learning it. And I dropped out...okay not for failing, even tho I switched to a cinema-related course, but for the lack of money.
I don't need to try to pick up some other random language just 'cause some comics/series.
If I have to learn a language, I should dust off French or get a proper certification for my English.
