Hello there, mortals.

Allow me to introduce myself, hm? My name is Kristian, and I'm a 224-year-old male vampire born and raised in the North of England and residing luxuriously abouts in London proper. Of course, I do not age, and as such, I am eternally the beautifully radiant age of 20. Throughout the centuries, I've led many lives. Many jobs. Many lovers. Many successes and failures. Though, you'll always find me dressed to the bloody nines! Get it...bloody? British...vampire...hm. I think I'm a comic. Anyway, mortals, the point is I've seen and done nearly everything, and everybody one can see and do, though I'm always open to more exploration. All of which done with a sexual edge, of course. I'm a damned vampire, after all! In any event, all of this, that's what this virtual diary will be about; the highs and lows, friends and foes, orgasms and bites, and overall aristocratic lifestyle of one of London's finest, most eligible undead bachelors. Did I mention I'm incredibly humble? So, won't you join me? Take my hand and let me lead you into my lair. A place full of irresistible temptations unlike any you've ever seen in your mundane mortality. theory on lilith's fall

look, this is some season 2 of warrior nun spoilers, so like, proceed with caution.

okay, so adriel has saruman like powers. he just needs you to accept anything of his that he says as fact and he can kind of just polish your logic and inhibitions and morals away.

so with lilith, he just told her the truth about her situation, she accepts the fact, and he takes it as acceptance of him, and like a vampire accepting an invitation, he now has an in road into lilith's mind and can just finesse her inhibitions away. to twist her to his point of view.

most of this hinges on the last shot on kristian. like, almost instantly after adriel's ripped apart and we go back to upstairs, we see kritian and he's just sort of waking up to the horrors and atrocities he has committed in adriel's name. lilith herself seems to wake up and remember 'oh shit, these are my sisters i've been fighting' and helps to save ava.

like this was much subtler criticism levelled at religion and catholicism. accepting church dogma unquestioning could lead you to doing atrocities in god's name. here it's adriel, but the point i think is well made. lilith was primed with a lot of rejection and fear of rejection from her safety net and so was easily swept up in getting answers (and let's not forget she got news of mary's death and had to be the one to deliver it to her sisters). kristian was 'born again' with a little proof and was convinced to perpetuate plagues upon humanities for the greater good. vincent betrayed those in his care for adriel.

don't get me wrong, i hated lilith's arc this season, but goddamn it was kinda on point.

     Charlie didn’t have to wind up saying anything to Kristian in return. Eris had been within ear shot of the whole thing and if Charlie never wanted anyone to fight his battles for him, he was somewhat grateful that he had a protective older sister who came stomping over yelling at Kristian for what he’d said. Harvey, too, told Kristian how wrong it was to say something like that to Charlie. That just because Charlie was gay, didn’t mean he was some kind of predator that he needed to be afraid of being in the same room as. He didn’t have those thoughts before he knew Charlie was gay, there was no reason to have them after. 

Eris and Harvey saw Kristian on his way and when they came back to check on Charlie, he was smiling at both of them. “I could have handled that,” he told them both. 

Eris shrugged. “Yeah, but we did,” she said, clapping Harvey on the shoulder, who looked apologetically at Charlie. 

“I should have told you about Kristian,” he said. “I just...I didn’t know if I was overreacting, but then he said it again and I got mad all over again.” 

Charlie shook his head. “Yeah, but you shouldn’t let that be the reason you don’t go to college like you were planning. Just look for a different roommate, man.” 

Harvey sighed and promised he’d consider it. Eris slung her arms around the two of them, ushering them inside when Johnny came to the door to give her a thumbs up. “Alright you two, enough excitement, we’ve got a graduation to celebrate.”

Kristian was used to seeing different women who hired him and most of them he’d never see again or think about again. But she was different. He looked forward to seeing her every single time he saw her on his schedule and he always felt different with her. With the others he could easily switch off, polite charming conversation and some extras if they had asked for it but once he’d had a shower he could easily move on. But she was different. So when he found that she’d been booked in that weekend his chest warmed knowing that he certainly wasn’t going to be bored. Dressing in one of his nicer suits that evening with an expensive bottle of wine, he made his way over to her place and knocked on her door. “Guess who...” He smiled as soon as he saw her face.
