I plan on opening commissions soon so I drew some example line art for the commission post. It’s Lǐn Xuě Yā from Thunderbolt Fantasy! It’s been a while since I went whole hog on line art and Thunderbolt Fantasy has really extra designs so it was a perfect combination.

I know none of my followers really care about my non-Zelda fanart, but at least the hair is nice to look at, I guess.

Dear Yuletide Author,

Thanks for writing - I’m really excited for this Yuletide, now that I have time for fandom in my life again. I hope you’re excited as well! I’m FireBatVillain on Ao3, FFN, and Tumblr. The stuff I’m including in this letter is optional, but I hope you consider them as you write. Whatever you make, I’ll appreciate it regardless, and I look forward to whatever comes. Some preferences below the cut.

Things I like:

Bittersweet endings, angry or sad endings with a spark of hope in them, happy endings. Good communication, wordplay, honor, pointless heroism or love even if it won’t succeed. Meta, canon-compliant off-screen fics that explore things are great! So are non-canon-compliant fics that fiddle with the story and its premises. I love fics that are allegories for other things. I’m cool with any seaworthy ship. I also like revolution! Death to kings! No gods no masters!

Things I don’t like:

Monarchist/feudalist/aristocratic apologia, mpreg, character bashing, extreme underage, and explicit non-con. I’m okay with characters in a feudal or monarchist setting though.

Requested Fandoms:

Fate/Zero - Saber, Lancer

f you’ve seen or read Fate/Zero, you know how heartbreaking this interaction was. To find honor and solidarity and respect on the battlefield, only to have it ripped away so... it was a tragedy. And like any good tragedy, all the pieces were set in motion long before it ended in tears. Maybe it’s too much to ask for it to end another way... if it’s possible, that would be great. If not, any scene with these two that heart-wrenching and with that glimmer of happiness will be good.

The Promised Neverland - Any

TBH, I’m not super looking for shipping fic here, I’m happy with anything. I think there’s just a lot going on with Emma and her headspace that we don’t get a lot of visibility into in either the manga or the anime. But this is also true of Norman and Ray. Anything that gives insight or character development to these characters’ internal states is of interest to me.

Hornblower - Archie, Horatio

Ok just to be 100% real I’m here for that tenderly-nursing-Archie-back-to-health action and that’s everything there is to be said about this.

Thunderbolt Fantasy - Sho Fu Kan | Shāng Bù Huàn (Edgeless Blade), Rin Setsu A | Lǐn Xuě Yā (Enigmatic Gale)

Everything about the interactions between Edgeless and Gale is incredible. I want to grab them and shove them into a room and watch Edgeless get trolled (or more!). Whether it’s about whatever happened between S1 and S2 with one following the other to adventure, or what happens after S2 (or even during - remember the scene with the body controlling blade? eh ehe ehe), the possibilities are endless. Crossing blades or words, or just playing their personalities off of each other, or even going somewhere further with things, all of this sounds good to me. I just want to see more of these two.

Kara no Kyoukai - Ryougi Shiki

Kara No Kyoukai is something that affected me a lot on an aesthetic level. I still think about it from time to time and have rewatched selected scenes (particularly from OVAs 1, 3, and 5). It’s nominally about Shiki a lot of the time, and she is basically my fav, whether she’s cutting ghosts and kicking ass in the present, or learning about herself in the past. I’m game for anything involving her! Her viewpoint, her triumphs, her darkness, her love, her moments of bittersweet personal epiphany... I’ll take it. Show me what you got.

Thunderbolt Fantasy 2 (spoiler alert)

Finally watched finish TBF season 2. As usual it never disappoint me...however I was expecting Lǐn Xuě Yā to have more fighting scenes...since in Season 1 his fighting skills were very impressive~ 

Nevertheless..the new characters were quite impressive too (be it allies or  Antagonists). And as usual I am very impressed with the fighting scenes and the characters’ 服装 too haha. 

As mentioned earlier...  Làng Wū Yáo is now my favorite character hahaha ( Lǐn Xuě Yā used to be my favorite .. but of course I still like him! lol ).  Làng Wū Yáo and  Lǐn Xuě Yā are really 美少年 ! and I bet Enriolyn will agree with me XD

Well.. Làng Wū Yáo did appear in the last part in Thunderbolt Fantasy: The Sword of Life and Death movie; but at that point, I didn’t really take notice of him ...oh well... Luckily the producer grew fond of him and decided to incorporated him in the main story! XD

Oh and I really like his voice too..  I think 西川 貴教 really did a good job in voicing him.. ^^

And.. I realized that this in the last scene..Lang said the exact same 台詞 in the Sword of Life and Death movie ...面白い。。。

Oh..and I LOLed at this part! Lin is so funny and cute wearing the glasses!!! 

Somehow, at this part,  Lóu Zhèn Jiè reminds me of Miè Tiān Hái... =.=|||

The part before the final fight - at the point when Xiào Kuáng Juàn encounter Lóu Zhèn Jiè ; if only Xiao never mentioned that Shang was after him; Lou might not have killed him... Well.. I guess that is his fate...for being so evil and corrupted ... ><

I like the last part + fight though...it is what I call teamwork ....but I want Lǐn Xuě Yā to do more fighting!! >.< 

But I am happy also that some of the characters in season 1 appear at the end!

And the post credit scene... I seriously wasn’t expecting Xíng Hài to appear; looks like her hatred for Lǐn Xuě Yā is quite deep..... So we can expect more action in Season 3 I guess.

Now I can’t wait for season 3 !!! >.<
