Ferrari 250 LM Prototipo, 1963. Designed at Pininfarina this was Enzo Ferrari's blatant attempt to flout FIA rules and race the mid-engined car in the Group 3 GT class without the requisite 100 road cars being built. Ferrari's influence with the FIA wasn't as great as he had hoped and the car was disallowed and could only race in the prototype class.

Starting off Les Mis Letters but Chinese strong by finishing 1.1.1 💪 here are some Chinese names:
Charles-François-Bienvenu Myriel
查理·佛朗沙·卞福汝 米里哀 / Chá lǐ • fú lǎng shā • biàn fú rǔ mǐ lǐ āi
Baptistine
巴狄斯丁 / Bā dí sī dīng
Magloire
马格洛 / mǎ gé luò
I also really like how they translated Myriel's response to Napoleon (written by Hapgood as "You are looking at a good man, and I at a great man. Each of us can profit by it."), which is:
“您瞧一个汉子,我瞧一个天子。彼此都 还上算。”
which roughly translated to English is:
"You look upon a man, I look upon an emperor. Both are worthy of each other."
I like how man (汉子) and emperor/son of Heaven(天子) retains part of the good man/great man (bonhomme/grand homme) parallel with the 子 use, and Kit and @claireverlasting from the Les Mis Letters server also pointed out how 汉子 is used more casually, like dude or chap, in comparison to the very obviously Heavens-associated Emperor. Idk, I just like how these minor, but important inflections are still able to be translated over into Mandarin :DD
#hopefully i can actually do LML but Chinese this year#but looking at my track record of Chinese reading....its nawt looking good#but 🤞 heres to hoping#les mis#les mis letters#lm 1.1.1#syrup ramble#actually i should have a dedicated tag for this#LML but Chinese

The Washington herald, 12 November 1911
Jean Valjeans of Real Life: Mr. William A. Pinkerton Tells Why Some Escaped Convicts, Now Leading Upright Lives but Ever in Fear of Detection Are Entitled to More Sympathy Than Many Who Have Paid the Full Legal Penalty for Their Crimes "Jean Valjean was a real character— real, I mean, in the sense that Victor Hugo drew a picture that has often been paralleled in real life. 'Les Miserables,' although pretending to be nothing more than fiction, is yet a true story, in that it describes incidents, actions and emotions that have occurred not once but a thousand times in the actual experience of mankind." William A. Pinkerton, head of the great detective agency that bears his name, was the speaker. The talk had been running on criminals who had reformed. "There was a case," he said, "in which the effort of the criminal to reform was hampered by the fact that he had escaped before he finished paying the penalty society had meted out as expiation for his crime. You know the story— the poor fellow had done nothing serious, nothing we would regard as a grave offence. His real offence was in escaping from the galleys. It is one of the most pathetic stories in all literature— the tale of his effort to lead an honest and useful life, in constant fear of detection and denunciation. And the character of Javert, the relentless police official who turned up every time poor Jean Valjean got a fresh start, is, to my mind, one of the most despicable pictures ever drawn by a novelist. Yet the policeman was only doing his duty, as the law laid it down.” Mr. Pinkerton paused, relit his cigar, contemplated the richly browned meerschaum holder affectionately for a moment, then spoke again. "We were talking the other day about crooks who turned straight," he said. [. . .] "Jean Valjeans in real life? Yes, there are many of them; many men who have not, after years of freedom, entirely lost the fear of being recognized and denounced and, what is worse, dragged back to prison again. And often that fear is justified. I will tell you of an instance. "More than forty years ago, when I a young fellow, a desperate criminal broke jail in [illegible]. He was a man with a long record as a bank burglar and he was serving a sentence that had many years yet to run. I did not know the man, but I knew about him, and his escape was a great newspaper sensation at the time. "A few years ago a man called on me here in my New York office. He was a crook whom I recognized. 'I've got a proposition to make you,' he said. 'You remember So and So?' He named the man who had escaped so long ago. I nodded. 'I know where he is,' said the crook. ‘I ran across him a little while ago. He's changed his name and got rich. He's been living straight ever since he got out and he's one of the prominent citizens up where he lives. He doesn't know that I'm on, but I've got him dead to rights. Now, you could go up there and shake him down for a big bunch of money for both of us.' "He didn't get any further. I got up out of my chair and— well, when I got through with the fellow I had done some remembering myself. 'Look here,' I said, 'you did a trick yourself up in New Hampshire some years ago, and you made your getaway after you were sentenced. My recollection is that you owe the State of New Hampshire about fifteen years time, and I promise you that if that old man you just spoke of is ever molested or approached in any way by you or anyone else, for blackmail or to peach on him, I'll see to it that you spend the rest of your life in prison, and that goes!' “The crook slipped out of my office and the old man who escaped from prison forty years ago is still a useful and respected citizen, so far as I know. I never investigated the story the crook told me, but I have no doubt that it is true and that in the city he named there is another Jean Valjean in real life.

(Written between s2 episodes 9 and 10)
"The foundation of the game is mutual trust, fairness, and equality."

Part 3 of my "this game and its rules" theory: Part 1. Part 2.
This theory will be much less put together, as I feel I am not seeing the whole picture here, but maybe another set of eyes can spot what I've missed. I want to put this out there before episode 10 destroys everything.
Li Tianchen is a complicated character. He is a someone we inherently cannot trust. I'm sure I'm not the only one who found it comedic how quickly Li Tianchen took total control over the interrogation (CXS never stood a chance, the Coca-Cola tactic was brilliant.)
Why come in disguise as his sister? To gain sympathies, I suppose.
So then, did Li Tianchen know about the photograph?
Let's break the scene down:
-Li Tianchen introduces himself as LiTianxi. Cheng Xiaoshi is visibly taken aback. 1pt to LTC.
-Li Tianchen gives Cheng Xiaoshi a choice. Turn over all listening devices. Cheng Xiaoshi lies = feeling of unease. "The foundation of cooperation is mutual trust" says LTC. Minus 1pt to CXS. He's already in the negatives.
-Interrogation begins. Cheng Xiaoshi asks, "Why did you come and what do you know?" -
-Li Tianchen repeats, "The foundation of the game is mutual trust, fairness and equality. Did you forget this so soon?"
A connection is made in Cheng Xiaoshi's mind, this is Red Eyes! He then says:
"Why did you turn out like this?"
The conversation went directly from "The foundation of the game..." to "Why did you turn out like this." YEAH. That's one way to be suspicious CXS! -1pt
Cheng Xiaoshi knows about LTX's past and recognized her name. Li Tianchen doesn't know that Cheng Xiaoshi knows this. He is guessing based on Cheng Xiaoshi's reactions. (CXS wears his heart on his sleeve and I love him for it.)
Li Tianchen calls him on it, "How did you know?" The ball is back in LTC's court. + 1pt.
Cheng Xiaoshi tries to take the ball back. But the revelation that this is red eyes is too much. He cannot lie. So he speaks the truth and the ball stays firmly in LTC's court for the rest of the match.
The following Coca-Cola chugging relaxes the mood (+1pt LTC) and the sympathy building begins.
This plan of Li Tianchen's really hinges on building sympathy. He can't just grab CXS and go. He has to make him go "willingly" in order to not draw attention. This game is of mutual trust.
Li Tianchen needs (or at least wants) Cheng Xiaoshi to trust him.
Cheng Xiaoshi reaches out in a moment of sympathy... and gets possessed. Match won.
There is no evidence that Li Tianchen knew about the photograph before Cheng Xiaoshi willingly confirms it. But if Cheng Xiaoshi hasn't seen the photograph, then isn't this plan way more risky? Did LiTianchen really take that risk?
I know a lot of people are thinking that Li Tianxi is the one who delivers the photograph. That's very difficult to refute. But I cannot think of a reality where Li Tianchen doesn't know that the photograph was given. That was played.

Food for thought: the twin that delivered the photograph, and the twin that took the phone. (please note: the yellow on the jacket in relation to color of the hoodie. Thin as ice, this one. But I can't stop thinking on it.) EDIT: lmao I went a took color samples in procreate. Both hoodies are purple/red. Color theory can you believe.
I really, really believe that Li Tianchen is crying out for help as much as Li Tianxi is seems to be. Everything he does is to protect his sister. He's a hunter yes, but--

"Some (predators) are born as bloodthirsty beasts. But some are special and learn to evolve. They evolve, and they grow. Until one day in this jungle of men, they become...a hunter. So which one of those do you want to be in the future?"
vs. the English dub which chooses to take things a little farther....
"Someone to kill and eat everything. Not everyone stays the same as they were born. Some people will evolve, become something new. They're the ones who hunt predators. They learn to fight and protect. What kind of person do you want to be when you grow up?"
Li Tianchen is a hunter, a provider, a protector.
So who is Li Tianxi?
#I have so many little noncoherent thoughts that don't deserve a whole post#Like the gossipy neighbor “recognizing” QJ?#or LM abducting Emma for “his money” - the same money found in CB's home?#or “CXS” apologizing for the tracking device vs. “LL” and “CB” apologizing before death#im screaming#link click#时光代理人#shiguang dailiren#link click spoilers#my lc theories

LMS Tracking and Reporting: The Key to Data-Driven Learning Success
In today’s fast-paced digital learning environment, organizations and educational institutions need an efficient way to monitor, evaluate, and enhance learning experiences. This is where LMS tracking and reporting come into play. A Learning Management System (LMS) with robust tracking and reporting capabilities enables administrators, trainers, and educators to make data-driven decisions, improving overall training efficiency.
What is LMS Tracking and Reporting?
LMS tracking and reporting refer to the ability of a learning management system to collect, analyze, and present data related to learners’ activities. This includes course progress, completion rates, assessment scores, time spent on training modules, and overall learner engagement.
With a feature-rich LMS like EdzLMS, businesses and educational institutions can gain valuable insights into the effectiveness of their training programs. This allows them to make informed improvements, ensuring that learners receive the best possible experience.

finally re-organized my cds where i've just been stacking them in the general spot they're supposed to go since the ones i got for my birthday and OF COURSE there's an overflow which i have a rack my sister gave me and it's nice bc it rotates but of course it's individual slots and i kind of like the freedom of a shelf because if they're not the normal size they either won't fit on a rack or be kind of hidden bc the case is so thin AND THEN i have a shelf i used to use which is p perfect for MOST of my cds but i have several that are too tall and if i wanna keep them in order it doesn't work and i started using that shelf to display some of my funkos so i'm just kind of at a loss like i know there are more i can pull to get rid of bc there's a lot i don't listen to but it's not a long-term solution since i have a p large list of what i do want and that will just bring me back to this issue idk idk! both options would give me a lot of remaining space but as i said. limiting. and the shelf most of them are currently on actually works better for dvds and i wouldn't mind having it back for that purpose since my books are running into my dvds and that's all overly full too but like i said there are a handful of cds that are dvd height and it might not REALLY be worth it to keep them on that shelf since there are so few but still it's annoying
#i've thought about just getting a regular version of lover bc i realized i don't really care about having the deluxe edition#since it's not really bonus songs just voice memos which i don't need on a physical copy#but then i can't switch to regular editions of my 1d albums or else i WILL be missing impt songs#have thought about at least switching to the tmh yearbook edition bc i got the target one at the time#and at least it would be consistent with the rest if i switched it i was not thinking of things like that at the time#and both versions have excellent bonus tracks like either way i'm missing bops on the physical version there's no fixing that unfortunately#MIGHT be able to configure it since most of the taller cds are later in the alphabet (lm 1d and taylor are it i think)#have them flow onto the dvd shelf and then end up with some open shelves underneath for dvds#it would probably be wise for whatever shelves i used to not be completely full anyway to make re-organizing easier in the future#i gotta do my books too but i'm kind of just like. this is impossible#so yeah maybe a little more work on the cds and then i could make all the other shelves look better#but man i also just want my whole room re-organizeds sdjkfkjsjk#everything got impossible when i got a double bed even though i am so grateful for it#bc man it was hard with all the pets snuggling in a twin bed

Dissociation is probably the easiest state of mind for me to notice. When any other matter is modifying my brain it's impossible for me to be sure if I'm experiencing it or not, but for dissociation is SOOO easy because I can just say my legal name and not feel weird and that just solves it 👍
#luly talks#meant to post this like a week ago more than a week ago like a few months ago but i forgor 💀#anyway bc i was walking and i started wondering if i was dissociating (difficult moment) so i just sid that#i thought of three basic things about me: full name; age; nationality#sometimes gender too#see sometimes it's hard to be trans when you also dissociate but its very different for me#one thing is dysphoria because when dysphoric its like. i see what i am and it makes me unhappy#but when dissociating its straight up. i see what i am but this is not me#like its not wrong in a way that you can change its wrong as if you were looking on those funny mirrors#not that exaggerated but its that feeling yknow?#anyway reminding myself of basic bits of info like name nationality gender age can help ground me#and im gonna sound a bit insaner here GO AWAY ⚠️ LAST CHANCE#sometimes its counterproductive in a way because i say that information but that information is wrong it feels wrong and it shakes me up#because like i said i am im possession of Symptoms but they're very blurry because the VILLAIN aka antipsychotics#which made irreversible damage so its like. i feel like lm kicking someone out. or even like we lost track of who is who#there's no direct communication there's nothing solid physical its like being on a dark room and you can't recognize anyone its FOGGY#you can see the outline but how far will that take you? you are guessing. and if one is dissociating it tends to mean ALL are dissociating#aAnyway that was enough speech about the brain goodbye i have to sexualize that puppet now#brain stuff

haii can I request Mafioso x bunny hybrid reader who basically can be a healer and a sentinels at the same time? I like to think that gubby thinks that the reader is like them (because they're both a bunny) also the reader pronouns is they/them btw 🐰🐇
OOOO I love that! And the love for Gubby is honestly adorable, we all love Gubby ◕⩊◕
But yeah, reader's pronouns are they/them kek-
You were a surprise to the other survivors.
You looked like a perfect mix between a bunny and a Robloxian.
This on its own wouldn't usually be that much of an issue but what was shocking was your ability to be both a healer and a sentinel.
You'd heal them right after stunning a killer and while they were grateful, you were a mystery to behold.
Especially with your build not looking so tough to begin with.
You were taller, sure. But you looked more like a stretched bunny. Able to eat for days but with arms that didn't show much muscle to them in comparison.
Most killers found you annoying. You were like Elliot but with the ability to stop them dead in their tracks and it made chases with you more infuriating.
At least you couldn't heal yourself to balance that out a bit.
But Mafioso? You reminded him of Gubby in a way. The white fur and your more instinctive behaviours certainly didn't help your case against him and he caught himself sometimes leaving you as LMS intentionally just to watch your reactions to when you were cornered without hope.
But when you weren't left on your own? You had quite the sassy mouth against the killers. And over time you even gathered courage to speak up on your own as well.
Were the other survivors encouraging you? Or maybe the endless dances of life and death you were stuck in were starting to seem more dull over time?
Whatever it was about you, the killer was strangely interested in learning more about you.
All that lead to this round. He had brought Gubby along as bait for you and when you were unknowingly the LMS, Gubby did as told and lead you to a couple generators to build trust.
Gubby seemed especially interested in you, believing you two were almost one and the same species. Just with you being more Robloxian.
But upon getting to the last generator, Mafioso had been waiting there for you. You could only watch in horror and realization as Gubby carelessly hopped into his arms. You fell for the bait hook-line-sinker.
You didn't immediately stun him. You needed him to get away from the generator. And he knew this very well.
Which is probably why he refused to move.
"Caught ya, little bunny." His voice was eerily calm, making your ears twitch. You were trying to prepare for anything he might throw at you but hearing Gubby squeak at you kept dragging your attention back towards them both.
For now, it seemed you were both just waiting out the timer... It seemed...
Although you tried to convince him to leave the generator, it was clear he saw right through your words. And he kept trying to talk to you as though you were interesting which just confused you.
The round was slowly coming to an end though... And you had more questions than ever at this point before suddenly popping back up at the cabin with a small note stuffed into your hand.
'Meet us in the middle' ... How ominous.
The other survivors were just as confused as you, asking questions and leaving little room for you to answer but what you didn't tell them was that you fully intended to go.
'The middle' was likely referencing the middle of the map. And you needed answers.
But you waited for the next round, checking that you and Mafioso wouldn't be picked before heading out.
You weren't even sure where the middle was. No one knew where or how far the killer cabin was so it was hard to tell how big the map really was. You made sure to be careful though. You didn't need to overestimate it and land right in front of the killer cabin on accident nor underestimate and end up being nowhere near the middle.
But you were luckily not the only one it seemed.
Mafioso appeared out of the darkness ahead, smirking at your appearance with Gubby perched on his shoulder. You couldn't help but chuckle a bit when you noticed he dressed Gubby up to look like him. You didn't take Mafioso for a guy who enjoys dressing up animals.
He seemed more lighthearted outside of rounds, chuckling with you and promptly setting Gubby onto your head. It was cute how much the little thing squealed with curiosity and joy. You were just trying to make sure the little guy wouldn't fall down.
And unbeknownst to you, it brought a smile to Mafioso's face. A genuine one.
This became sort of a habit you kept secret. You'd claim you were just going out to take a stroll and would be safe from the killers but really, you were meeting one of them to see Gubby and have conversations about your lives before this realm. It was surprisingly casual and friendly...
"If we ever get out, how about a coffee?" He suggested, earning your typical "Is that a date?" before the two of you just agreed you'd find each other again.
Like an unspoken promise between lovers... You would be on the lookout...
Anything you'd like to request/ask? Check out my pinned post first and I'll be happy to write up whatever you want!
