Idk if you’ve ever watched someone play outlast 2 or played it yourself but the premise is that a man who’s a reporter/investigator and his wife go to investigate a murder and there’s a whole ass cult town they find.

All I can imagine is reader being a reporter going in alone and finding 141- or Ghost, Gaz, and Soap- as cultists worshipping some leader they only refer to as The Captain and they keep her to “help create a truly family in the cult” or something.

"So you'll be good, won't you?" Kyle continues, free hand running up her arm, long, slim fingers wrapping around the column of her neck to tilt her head back.
