In our last DND session, the party slowly traveled down a cave into a hole on our way to Skullport. There were a lot of skeletons.

Sorry I haven’t been active here. Life stress has me at unhealthy levels and I’m in constant panic mode every day. I wrote a main battle/boss theme for my friends’ dnd group to help me relax LOL. I had a lot of fun making it. It has anime and symphonic metal influences.

My warlock, Dandelion, found an old, crumpled poem the party paladin, Lafavel, wrote about him that had a bunch of things crossed out and the word "stupid" written (at himself) all over it, and so they had a little talk.

February DND Doodles:

The party took a short rest after stripping and tying up the vampire larper for fear he'd be able to use his wizardly magic to get away (it went way better than we thought???)

Clover (halfling) getting up on Norra (half-orc) so she could talk to people without them bending down

Dagger volunteers to finish the watch after abruptly being woken up mid-rest because our part warlock forgot that he has a geass on him

Dagger being moody and sleepy finishing the watch

Solias, Lafavel and Dagger attempt to solve a door puzzle

Solias decides to fly over a trap but is disappointed that he didn't get to carry one of the halflings over and is instead stuck with Dande

Clover saw/guessed Norra the druid wild-shape into a spider so she threw her towards the flying Solias (Dande ended up catching her because who would actually catch a spider??? Also, he didn't see her wild-shape either so it was very wtf)

Lafavel accidedntally ended up near the end of initiative in battle but blocked the entrance to the room with the baddies so everyone had to work around him to fight

Solias got swarmed by centipedes

Dande got knocked out by a dwarf-mummy backwards into an open coffin. Poetic.

Last night's DND game:

Dande rolled two nat 20's in a roll and really took it out on the enemies

Lafavel got to bisect a vampire in an inspirational smite-filled attack

Norra got grappled and bitten by a vampire whilst a shadow dog bit her ankles

...So Norra bites back! Everyone was taken aback.

I was bored one day and made a Lafavel dress-up.

dandelion talks about how when he died it was like he was floating in a sea of black, and the paladin, lafavel, tries to talk him into finding a deity because he's worried about this warlock's soul*

*it doesn't work. dande gets defensively antagonistic

"Look, okay, you’ve heard about the butterflies?” Lafavel asks, “Butterflies?” Dande explains, “You know, the butterflies in your stomach.” Lafavel says, “Ah, yes,” and Dande asks, “Are you feeling those butterflies?” Lafavel admits, “A little bit.” Dande says, “For me, maybe it’s just because I travel by night a lot, but I always thought moths were a better comparison.” Lafavel asks, “Moths?”

A scene that I really liked from a recent D&D game with @heybiji. Dande (drow warlock) found a poem that Lafavel (half elf paladin) wrote about him. Tee hee.

You cast your spell, a strong defense To protect you from my wicked ignorance Poison and vile ideas filled my head Since childhood, with them I had been fed

You charm and enchant to placate my rage You quell my violence, I sheath my sword and disengage You use your words to comfort and soothe me Without realizing your ploy, I fell for you truly
