The Yiling Band Tour!

You cannot be a perfectionist'.#Right now - posting these slightly upgraded frames is really helping me stay motivated through the learning grind.#But progress is happening! I'm so excited to show it off when it's done!#Someone with a very discerning eye might be able to figure out what I'm doing with just this one frame. I will take the risk.#That aside; I often think about how the nature of cultivators in MDZS's world also entailed knowing about other art forms.#Meaning that Wen Qing and Wen Ning likely were good musicians and artists.#We know WWX is also good in art and music so...really...what was stopping them from forming a band?#Allow me to pitch this AU: Yiling Opera company AU. WWX and the Wen remnants form a performing trope and tour towns and cities.#Not only do they find a way to keep on the move (no home...only the road and the people around you).#But you also get to be in costume - which is a socially appropriate way to always be in disguise.#Yiling Laozu would thus be a character and/or WWX's stage name.#Would he be good at keeping it a secret? Hard to say with WWX! I think it would be a poorly-kept secret at best.#He likes to brag and show off a bit too much. This many would be either the worst or best spy.#Consider the drama of JC losing his mind over his ex-brother becoming a clown. Imagine JC Getting his ass kicked by said clown.#Imagine the delectable secret identity drama potential of Lan Wangji stumbling upon the trope's performances.#We did not get nearly enough of the secret identiy drama in MDZS canon. I need more of it.#I need that man conflicted with his feelings for the same person. I need them playing mind games with each other at all times.

Particular Incident™ occurred#which eventually led to her learning the depths of his insecurities and issues. at least to *some* extent anyway#originally the tracker only tracked vee's location. just. so he could feel more comfortable.#know that he's never alone even if he can't actively sense anyone nearby with his abilities.#and so that if he ever needs vee for *anything* then he'll know exactly where to find her#but! it's got utility for vee in runs too! means she's always got someone to watch her back who can see when she's in danger and help out#but anyway. the fact that glisten could use the tracker to teleport longer distances was actually unexpected for vee!#and once she found that out she upgraded the tracker to show *all* the toons' locations#but only in runs and on the current floor because it relies on the machines to broadcast a signal. whereas vee can be tracked anywhere#the hand mirror was admittedly more of a 'hey it'd be cool to give vee a matching trinket. let my girl teleport to machines' thing gfhdhdf#but. while my friend and i haven't fully confirmed it? i've had thoughts of it being like. a 'thanks for putting up with me' gift#that glisten gave to vee sometime after the aforementioned Incident. because that mirror has Issues#and struggles to fathom that anyone would still want to be around him after learning that he's. broken. imperfect. even his best friend </3#the hand mirror has glisten's sweater skin's colour palette because i wanted to differentiate it from the vanity mirror#but also. it's silver. second place. it's enchanted with glisten's magic but it still doesn't measure up to the real deal (gold) <3

This’ll probably be my last submission for @green-with-envy-phandom-event this year. This line art is from @wynterfay (I hope I have the correct @ down)
For once I tried manually placing stars for accuracy! Bet you can guess which two constellations I managed to fit in there, but it may be a bit tricky :3 It may not be 1-to-1 accurate, I did eyeball it after all, but they are in fact next to each other!

This event has been a great learning experience for me and I had so so much fun! I’ve learned a lot about how Procreate works, how to use the tools it provides, and to stop using procreate and go back to Sketchbook. (Took a whole year to figure that out TwT) You might be able to tell I colored this and the Inkling Danny in Autodesk Sketchbook! I’ll probably continue to use Procreate for animation until I find a better software I can use on my iPad, but for now it seems Procreate is not for me after all. The past week of using Autodesk Sketchbook has been freeing and I hope it brings better quality with it!
Also I’ve never done ambient soft lighting like this before as far as I can tell! Any drawings I could find from the past several years have had distinct and direct light sources and an overall direction the light is coming from! I hope I did this one the justice it deserves at least!

All of the classic tricks I learned from years of Sketchbook use!#I’ve been recommended either upgrading to the paid version or trying out Clip Studio Paint#my partner uses clip studio and it has a lot of tools I was failing to find on Procreate (ASB turns out to have one of them)#and one of my teammates on yellow uses it professionally to do flats and even showed me how it works! It was so cool!#Everyone has been so nice and I’ve learned so much! Thank you so so much for the experience! Hope I can do even better next year!

I'm gonna definitively say my piece if I haven't already. I have had time to look within myself and come to terms with the truth.
Tyril's b2 makeover was an upgrade.
The only thing I would've preferred is if it kept his b1 outfit's color scheme (silver and burgundy supremacy), but I can no longer fight it—they did us good with it. Cool, thottier armor and he's styling that glorious hair? This was a win, guys.

so, you're telling me that nintendo's switch 2 is priced at around 450 USD, and every game therein after is projected to be anywhere from 85USD to nearly 100USD ........
so anyways i've been thinking of picking up cosplay as a hobby and-
#shitalks#at this point it's cheaper to learn to sow and make my own costumes#than it is to play a nintendo game#absolutely nothing on switch2 looks like something i'd play anyway#and silksong is the only thing i want to play#but as hollow knight has shown me#i do better on PC so it's probably more ideal for me to get it for PC when it's time#i can also purchase “upgrade packs” and that does .... what exactly#new modes i would almost get but you're basically saying “hey make it look newer for switch 2 but buy it”#there is not a lot of DLC content for some of these things so they had better be decent upgrades#and i already thought 24.99 was outrageous for DLC#now you want me to pay MORE for the games? AND for DLC? *AND* nearly 500 just for the console itself?#no thanks
