Episode 9- Hot and Cold Pt 1

The first date up with Blaze and boy did homeboy mess it up terribly. Out of no where Blaze started being mean to Penny for absolute no reason. Then Penny and him started being mean to one another to the point he had negative romance with her :/ Despite the date being awkward Blaze offered a white flag and they spent the rest of the date stargazing. Which meant they were able to salvage a bit of their romantic relationship. On the other hand, Penny had been so antsy to go on her solo date with Zaddy Darius. Our girl is so DOWN BAD for him. She was flirting with him and feeding him all dinner. They learned a lot about one another like, Darius now understands where Penny's rage/jealousy comes from (she told him about cain/vinny) and she learned a bit about his late wife. Maybe it was the champagne or her horniness but Penny invited Darius into her bedroom and in the middle of the nasty she confessed that she liked him a lot.... she's now so embarrassed and honestly, same girl. @aniraklova @rasoyas

Autumn, 1900

For the rest of the day, Winifred worked quietly; still rather disoriented from her train being delayed that morning. Those sorts of things always seemed to put her in a strange mood, and Francis' genuine reassurance over her insecurities had only made it worse. She had never intended to lie to her coworkers about who she was; it was an honest mistake — when she filled out her application; she signed her maiden name, Monet, instead of Baudelaire and didn't notice until she was proof reading before handing it in; and she had truly��had intended to change it. However, for a fleeting moment she thought, 'why can't I be someone else for a while? It would only be like playing a part,' and soon, she was posing herself as a 30-something year old spinster trying to make her own way in the world. There at the Windenburg Daily, she was not just Mrs. Baudelaire, a rich man's life, or a mother struggling to exist outside of that title. Of course, she considered the idea of explaining the mishap and coming clean. Except that, when she thought of how angry JJ, Terence, and especially Francis would be, she could never bring herself to try. As the years passed by, her double life had brought her the sense of self she'd been longing for. But she was no fool. She knew it was not a matter of if her folly would catch up to her, but when; and all she could do was hope that at the very least, she might publish a few stories beforehand and it would somehow be worth it.

His name is Cliff and he's the rugged cowboy of her dreams. Not that Saffron ever really dreamt of cowboys or older men, but there was something about him she found so alluring.

He was first to approach her, asking her if she was new in town. They got to know each other a little until she noticed the ring on his finger. He caught the way she stared at his left hand and the small frown on her face. "I'm divorced," Cliff said. "Well, in the process of getting divorced. My ex and I have been living apart for a while now."

One morning when Sable gets up early to make breakfast she is interrupted by Cato. It seems that he has a fever but it's worse than normal. With Cato seemingly in pain, Sable send him to bed.

For Cato it's the worse feeling in the world, especially after having a few normal days recently. Seeing her son so close to tears, Sable tries her best to comfort him. But whether because of the pain of the sickness or just the reality of his life, Cato doesn't feel better.

As she goes to Ishmael about Cato she is shocked by what she sees. It seems Cato isn't the only one overtaken by sickness this day. Ishmael lays in bed stricken with the same sickness that Cato has.

Ishmael tries to get out of bed to complete his duties but it's a struggle. Sable tells him to stay in bed, a sickness like this could cause more damage if Ishmael overworks himself. With both Ishmael and Cato sick, Sable knows she'll have help them to get better.

The next few days as Sable takes care of Ishmael and Cato doing her best to nurse them to health, the younger Warings take over the property duties. Daphne who shadowed her mother takes over cooking meals and cleaning the main house, Casper is in charge of the crops, and Elijah takes care of the animals and helps his younger siblings when he can.

Alright ladies after a day of getting acquainted, the boys have divided the girls into their appropriate groups. #TeamAdam or #BlueTeam all have blue wrist corsages. And #TeamRichie or #RedTeam have red. Just to make it nice and even.

Eliminations will be chosen with a twist. Since we're dealing with a small group, sims that participate in woohoo with the opposite team brother 3 times will result in automatic elimination. The first two days will be spent in the shed.

Now taking in consideration of possible "love triangles" and the game being unpredictable, flirting will be free game, but a slight deduction to your romance bar depending on your current team. Solo dates will be determined by highest romance bar (with the exception of some games here and there) from each team for the day. Group dates/gathering will be random.

However, by the end of week 1, each individual will have their chance of swapping teams before finalizing and moving on with the competition. This is a ONE and done opportunity.

The early, crisp autumn morning began with what was thought to be the unfortunate consequence of an uncontrollable bladder flooding the bed. However, it quickly transformed into a scene of chaos and urgency.

"HnnnhH AUGHH—HELLS!" Josephine shouted, clutching her lower belly in agony. She gripped the bedpost for support, her knuckles white, as Lucile tenderly but urgently guided her to the other side of the bed.

"One step at a time, love! It's not a race," Lucile urged,

Josephine slumped over the side of the bed, propping herself up on her elbows. She took deep, labored breaths, "HUFF HUFF HOO," each exhale a desperate attempt to manage the relentless contractions surging through her body.

Lucile kept rhythmically massaging Josephine's lower back. Josephine winced, then sighed in relief as the contraction that had gripped her like a vise finally began to release.

"Ah!" Josephine whined, her voice trembling. "I know," she panted, "but they're getting closer."

Slowly lowering herself onto the bed, Josephine continued, "Lucie, I need a midwife."

"What—really? Are you sure?" Lucile exclaimed, her feet dancing nervously, a mix of anxiety and excitement coursing through her.

"Yes, this isn't like any other cramps I've felt before... It's time."

After seeing that post about Karlach and Astarion being bi/pan, I did use my head empty afternoon after yoga to make a new save to try and make them smooch out of spite. And because they're canonically mutually attracted to each other no matter what so. It's theoretically possible.

Absolutely did it the wrong way around by playing as Karlach because just by picking Karlach-y answers to random things (tiefling issues especially) Astarion ended up rather fed up and disapproving of her and was in deep negatives immediately, and then of course he can't even bite her so there goes a chance to earn brownie points with him, so I only just clawed it back into the green after handling his personal stuff as best as possible.

Also he doesn't seem to approve of [BARBARIAN] options, just, like, murder and mayhem fitting a more refined palette and purpose. So I'm just seeing [Shadowheart Approves] [Lae'zel Approves] [Astarion Disapproves] every time she opens her mouth.

I mean I'm finding the whole thing very funny, but I feel like Karlach is literally trying to beat the lesbian allegations off with her axe and Astarion is lounging around not helping whatsoever because being the internet's new gay best friend is way more profitable and fun :P

Look who took the advice from my previous post! Kori managed to break through the back window of the abandoned house in the middle of the night. Not suspicious at all. Then realized she still has school in the morning despite everything. She plops down on the kitchen floor that looks like it hasn't been stepped on since 1994 and does what she can of her homework. With 50% of it done and the will of the watcher, she catches her school bus and is off! Look at her being studious! (She's listening to Loveless and doodling in her notebook.)

realized the most fun i’ve ever had in a save was playing a sim from toddlerhood in the perfect life challenge so i’m setting up a lil save to do smth similar. this time i used the random legacy generator to roll some parameters for their life circumstances and some fun lil challenges to do during their lifespan.
