She and Florence Pugh are absolute besties from being in Little Women together to her work in Don't Worry Darling. During filming for LW, they would hang out together outside of filming and YN even made it on an episode of Flo's Kitchen. They honestly did more dancing, laughing, and drinking than they did cooking.

This also goes for Timothee Chalamet from filming LW. They had really good, natural chemistry from filming that they were bound to become close friends. Not to mention how fun their promo interviews were for the film. And she may or may not have been given an invite to be in Call Me By Your Name sequel.

Lizzo is a given seeing how close she is with Harry. YN often jokes about she's the third wheel between the three of them. When she and Lizzo are in a room together (at a show, in the studio, etc.) they're always laughing and cracking jokes. And Watch Out For The Big Grrrls? YN was a guest to perform with Lizzo at Bonnaroo with her own core tour dance crew consisting of females ranging from different colors, shapes, and sizes.

Being besties with The Weeknd is another obvious choice from the number of songs they've collaborated with and spent countless hours in the studio making music and talking about anything and everything. Whenever they get the chance, they'll have each other as a surprise guest at one of their shows. Although he had nothing to worry about, this friendship in particular makes Harry feel the kind of jealousy from when they were in the band together.

Megan Thee Stallion and YN have such a fun friendship. From what you mentioned about the two of them, all I can see is YN dancing along in the wings of the stage to Thot Shit. Then Megan quickly goes over to grab her hand and pulls on stage. So while Megan holds her hand and continues to rap, YN has her back to the audience, moving her hips seductively as she slowly lowers herself down. She even looks over her shoulder and takes a sip from her see-through, neon green cup as she does it.

Oh my gosh and Mac Miller and Ari?! YN played cupid and was the one to introduce them to one another. And you best believe she was by Ari's side during his mourning. She lost a very good friend and she made sure she was there by Ari's side for whatever she needed.

It's all about connections, right? It's not what you know but who you know? So after meeting Paul Mescal and Daisy Edgar Jones at one fancy event, they immediately got along. So when working at the studio one day with Phoebe Bridgers, she played cupid for the second time and introduced her to Paul.

And with Daisy, YN was introduced to Sebastian Stan when they filmed Fresh. She was really grateful for all of her media training because she kept her cool instead of fangirling like she wanted to (if only she knew that he felt the same way). Both of their managers and agents may or may not have gotten in touch for a possible movie together...

Through Sebastian, YN was able to meet the bundle of sunshine that is Simu Liu. Simy treats her like the little British sister he never had. They don't see each other that often, but it's all smiles and witty jokes when they catch each other on a red carpet.

Part performer, part life coach, Melissa “Lizzo” Jefferson was preaching the radical power of self-love long before it was in fashion. A decade on from her debut, the multiple Grammy-winner has now firmly infiltrated the mainstream with her agenda, influencing millions with her body-positive bangers.

Finishing up her European tour at the O2 Arena last night, the US singer-songwriter remained resolute in her mission to uplift and empower. Supported by an all-female backing band and the plus-size dance troupe she recruited on her Emmy-winning Amazon series Watch Out for the Big Grrrls, she delivered a set of relentlessly joyous disco-pop regularly interspersed with motivational speeches, both live and pre-recorded.

Subtle it wasn’t, and by the third time she’d told the crowd they were beautiful, more cynical audience members might have been forgiven for rolling their eyes. That it didn’t occur to those in attendance last night is testament to Lizzo’s immense charisma and the environment of pure fun she fostered.

The Eighties-inspired 2 Be Loved (Am I Ready) came complete with aerobics-style choreography, and Soulmate saw her twerking in blue diamante to bars delivered by her DJ, Sophia Eris. There were Chaka Khan and Lauryn Hill covers, featuring Lizzo’s powerhouse vocals embellished by exquisite harmonies from backing vocalists Little Bigs. During Coldplay she solo-ed on Sasha Flute (a flute that has its own Instagram account), while Naked saw her underscoring a woman’s right to bodily autonomy, projecting “My body my choice,” onto her flesh-coloured catsuit.

Interestingly, the night’s most powerful moments arrived when the music stopped. Moved to tears at the end of Special, she told the audience, “I’m milking this,” and enjoyed an arena-wide ovation that steadily grew in intensity. Then, following a barnstorming rendition of Truth Hurts, she spent upwards of eight minutes complimenting audience members on their outfits, before autographing a woman’s breast to provide a template for a tattoo.

This overwhelming atmosphere of love and acceptance more than made up for any of the less inspiring material from her latest LP, and succeeded in elevating Lizzo-classics like Juice and Cuz I Love You to another level entirely.

Which all augurs extremely well for this summer’s co-headline slot at Glastonbury. Because if performances like these prove anything, it’s that a good Lizzo show ranks up there with the very best of life’s natural highs.

Melissa Viviane Jefferson (born April 27, 1988) known professionally as Lizzo, is a rapper, singer, and actress. Born in Detroit, she moved to Houston. She moved to Minneapolis, where she began her recording career in hip-hop music. She released two studio albums, Lizzobangers, and Big Grrrl Small World. Her first major-label EP was Coconut Oil.

She attained mainstream success with the release of her third studio album, Cuz I Love You, which peaked at #4 on the US Billboard 200. The album spawned the singles “Juice” and “Tempo”. The deluxe version of the album included the single “Truth Hurts”. It topped the US Billboard Hot 100 and became the longest-leading solo song by a female rapper. Her single “Good as Hell” climbed the charts, reaching the top ten on the Billboard Hot 100 and UK Singles Chart. She received eight nominations at the 62nd Annual Grammy Awards, the most for any artist that year, including nominations for each of the “Big Four” categories; and won the awards for Best Urban Contemporary Album, Best Pop Solo Performance for “Truth Hurts”, and Best Traditional R&B Performance for the song “Jerome”.

She released the single “Rumors”, which debuted in the top five of the Billboard Hot 100. Six people known as "her ex-crew" are said to have reported Lizzo for alleged harassment.

Based on the report from ET, it was confirmed that the six people were Lizzo’s ex-crew who worked for her tours. Some of them had become crew members for Lizzo’s reality show ‘Watch Out for the Big Grrrls’.

Until now, Ron Zambrano hasn’t revealed his next steps. Six ex-crew have not yet filed the lawsuit to the court, so basically only three cases have been registered by her ex-dancers.

Lizzo’s three ex-back dancers sued her for sexual harassment, body shaming, and atrocities in the workplace.

On Tuesday (1/8), Variety retrieved that the lawsuit was registered in the Los Angeles High Court with a list of defendants as Melissa Viviane Jefferson (Lizzo’s real name), then her company Big Grrrl Touring, and lastly Shirlene Quigley, the leader of Lizzo’s dancers. 

They accused Lizzo and the other defendants of having committed sexual abuse, racist commentary, discrimination toward people with disabilities, and many other aggressive behaviors.

The ‘About Damn Time’ singer has released her statements. She denied all the accusations and claimed that the accusations were fake.

Unraveling the Allegations: Navigating the Controversy Surrounding Lizzo

Lizzo, a world-renowned pop artist, and star of “Watch Out for the Big Grrrls” has built her image on body acceptance and happy, uplifting songs. She now faces rather detrimental allegations and is the target of a new lawsuit. The Grammy-winning singer and other members of her tour are accused in a complaint brought by her former dancers, accusing the artist of creating a hostile work environment during her Special Tour this year. Lizzo is accused of participating in many incidents that, according to the dancers' attorneys, included sexual harassment, assault, and weight-shaming, as well as reports of religious harassment and discrimination. These allegations, which Lizzo has refuted, have called into question both the treatment of her staff and the legitimacy of the image she has constructed as an advocate of plus-size individuals.

Plaintiff Arianna Davis experienced harassment during her time working with Lizzo, including frequent religious harassment. Shirlene Quigley, the main perpetrator, and defendant served not only as a judge on the reality TV show, “Watch Out for the Big Grrrls” but also as an instructor and captain. The dancers were required to participate in the reality show, as they were competing to be featured during Lizzo’s Special tour. It has been reported that Quigley was very vocal about her religious beliefs, to the point of imposing them on the dancers. The court document states, "Ms. Quigley was not only vocal about her religious belief but took every opportunity to proselytize it to any and all in her presence, regardless of protestations.” Quigley presumed a shared Christian identity between her and Davis. She regularly preached at her, expressing what she thought was a shared belief system. She often expressed that, “No job and no one will stop me from talking about the Lord.” This unprecedented behavior continued and was perpetuated by other team members.

While working for Lizzo, her dancers endured sexual harassment and misconduct. Lizzo invited the dancers and other members of her team to Amsterdam's famed redlight district, which is known for its sexual environment. Many dancers hesitantly attended the show to ensure their employment due to the threatening nature of their workplace. Lizzo invited the dancers to engage in lude sexual acts at this club, specifically interactions with the nude performers. Davis politely declined Lizzo's invitation to take part. Additionally, the plaintiffs claim that Lizzo forced one of her security guards to participate by pressuring him to remove his clothes, cheered when the guard was publicly whipped, and overall showed little regard for the autonomy of her staff. Quigley also appeared to be obsessively concerned about Davis' virginity, and would often shame the other dancers about premarital sex. These conversations were frequent and unprompted. The defendant even took it a step further by broadcasting Davis' virginity to not only the cast but to public media as well.

The dancers endured discrimination, alongside an overall hostile and inappropriate environment. Davis, the plaintiff, claims that Lizzo requested to meet with her regarding her behavior during rehearsals. The singer previously called attention to the plaintiff's weight gain, and Ms. Davis stated that her weight gain was referenced multiple times throughout their meeting. The hurtful comments were disguised as support from Lizzo's team. Davis claimed that she felt under pressure to share intimate information, specifically about her mental health, due to the nature of the work environment. Ms. Davis assured them that her mental health would not affect her ability to perform. Just five days after the discussion, she was terminated on the basis of budget cuts. This occurred shortly after being berated by Lizzo in front of the rest of the cast.

Other members of her tour have since come forward confirming these allegations. Lizzo denies the charges, which call into question the morals she has advocated, and leave the public torn between her public persona and the allegations. Throughout her career, Lizzo has promoted ideas of self-love and empowerment, which have found resonance with millions of followers. The events surrounding the charges have brought to question the nature of her stardom, image, and responsibility.
