(So Dredge has new DLC, which means my Merfolk & Eldritch Ghosts has gained new inspiration) 

Now, if one were to ask what happened to Amity Park, many people would ask what you were even talking about. The city was rather out of sight, out of mind, to say the least- even without the government coverup. 

It was well known, to those that even knew of the town in the first place, that it was a ghost town, abandoned from sinkhole problems, roads diverted and fences put up to prevent people from entering. Of course, if one made it past that first fence, and then the overgrown wall, and then another electrified net, and through the invisible barrier not meant to keep them out but something else in, they’d know that wasn’t true. 

Oh sure, one could claim some sort of sinkhole, what with how the only building not half destroyed was some mimicry of a floating rig, standing strong in the dark waters that now covered everything else. But even a sinkhole should not go so deep, waters turning from pitch darkness to a heavy green… several hundred miles deeper than the deepest trenches. 

And the denizens of the water didn’t appreciate the rig protected by its tower, or the boats of white protected by buzzing barriers that tried to heave them from the waters for study. Yes, what happened to Amity Park was far more a mystery than it should be, unless you were one of those once-humans in the depths. 

But well, it wasn’t the GIW who would be asking them.

Want to play around with the idea of Johnny and Dally appearing as honest to god ghosts, now I have a fic where it’s a bit vague wether it’s all in the mind or a genuine appearance but I mean the real deal.

I mean out in a field at night, whispy visions of a memory appear and replay. Transparent, gory and confused. They’re not here for a life lesson, but are there. Not “ghost whisperer” not so cheesy and direct (?) but in more of a tragic urban legend type of way… that’s something I don’t see the fandom lean into that often.

Sort of like full on cowboy ghost- out riding in the night forever or until a time is up etc etc it’s such a haunting and interesting idea to play with.

I was playing around with the idea of it being a ‘sequel’ fic to my vaguely ghost fic or maybe it’s completely separate and with Soda? Make all of the brothers see a ghost lmao. (Darry gets the one back to life au I talked about)

There's one where Atreus turns into a wolf and Angrboda is painting a wolf surrounded by hearts (I wonder if that's an Atreboda hint, I want to believe it is) also one where she's playing "Bot of War" on a tv🥹

yes i watched the gameplay 😭😭 once it was brought to my attention the other day you already know i was hooked 💜 and YES most definitely her painting hearts around the wolf was the game talking abt atreboda 😍😍😍 if you hit Atreus where you collected the rest of the characters, he turns into a wolf (also he doesnt look like the other ones in the level) and Angrboda’s description says “paints a prescient picture” which is literally her drawing her love for Atreus LMFAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
